11:48 >> It's quite a crowd when they get 18 of us, there were 19 of us. James is sleeping
11:57 with the Lord comes 18 of us. And let me tell you, it is quite an Has these 10
12:04 grandchildren. They are so creative, so energized. And we live kind of in a country
12:12 setting and lots of woods and all that kind of thing. And these the river and the yeah.
12:17 And these little ones getting bigger. Now and they are very active and they want to borrow
12:22 my tools and what have you and they go out into the woods. They create is a recently
12:27 created a whole village. I mean, little and and gardens and pathways. wow. And just an
12:39 amazing ingenuity that they So it whenever they're together, it's never a dull moment.
12:45 >> I I call it chaotic. Bliss. Haha mother and a granite. Yes, yes. Haha.
12:52 >> We praise God that our 3 precious daughters are so close to the Lord. Amen. All
13:01 the families, of course, are son-in-law. They are part of the 7th Day Adventist Church
13:05 and then we praise God that. One of the greatest gifts not to we do. We stay close to
13:12 them. And, you know, we. Contact them. Talk with him, pray with them, encourage them
13:20 and they encourage us. So and families are so important. And during this pandemic that has
13:27 really been a challenge in turn will get into the pandemic here in a little bit.
13:29 And all what God is doing. But it's so important for us to stay connected. encourage each
13:38 other. But anyway, before we get into the outline and the music of for this evening
13:43 there, maybe some of this watching tonight saying the 7th his church, the GC
13:46 President. What does that mean? What do you do? How many members actually are there in
13:50 the 7th damaged church? just give us a real quick synopsis. >> The 7 day of his church is
13:57 a Protestant church. It is a church that came out of the Miller right movement.
14:00 >> In the early 19th century and we believe that it follows the beautiful.
14:08 >> Principal of a revelation 12 and verse 17 and the Dragon was enraged with the woman and
14:18 he went to make war with the rest or the remnant of her offspring, who and here are
14:24 the characteristics that are so important. Those who keep the Commandments of all 10 of
14:29 them. Yeah, not through our own power, but by complete connection and with have
14:35 leaning on him and to have the testimony of Jesus Christ. >> So these beautiful
14:45 characteristics, we think. Identify God's last a and the 7th day of this church. The
14:52 name implies we. >> We know where we're from creation. God created us
14:58 created the 7th they Sabbath as memorial and adding to this, we know are going my God
15:06 is great good and he's this is coming. The advent the second ad and he came once. This is
15:10 the second ad and the second coming. So we have about almost 22 million members
15:17 around the world in over 200 many languages that alright literature is printed in an
15:23 even more now that are being developed we have many hospitals and clinics. We have
15:36 educational institutions. In fact, the 7th church runs the the largest Protestant
15:41 educational system for a We praise God for that. you know, it's just his blessing
15:49 >> and >> so many other aspects of God's work. But you know what?
15:53 What do I do? Well, I try to assist where I can. Let me haha. But we have a structure,
16:01 beautiful structure that God has given, you know, Jethro the father-in-law of Moses
16:08 gave great council about how to how to operate all these these masses of people, the
16:14 children of Israel, you know, have captains over this many in this many in this many in.
16:20 And that's kind of the way the church functions. So we have a world church that has a
16:26 general conference with those who are working to help. Drive mission. That's whole purpose
16:34 is not bureaucracy. It's not just some kind of, you know, administrative function. It
16:40 focused on and upon what God has entrusted to us to proclaim those 3 Angels
16:48 messages which will get into further in the in the program. And so everything we do has
16:53 this focus on mission. We have department directors who are helping people all over the
17:00 world with various things to help them in ministry. And then, of course, we have
17:05 divisions of the General conference. We have 13 world divisions and we have 2
17:13 attached unions. We also have an attached field these different entities underneath
17:21 divisions. We have unions, numbers of of conferences and and underneath them. And then
17:28 local churches and church members. Now somebody my cell, that's so top heavy on But you
17:33 know what? It really works. And it's interesting the places that are growing the
17:40 most. Are finding they need to keep dividing these administrative units because
17:47 the people are so active and they need so much help and support that when they divide
17:54 and they create additional units, the church keeps growing. Well, that's in the
17:58 areas where the church is really growing. We have other places where the church is not
18:00 growing as rapidly too much money, too much sophistication too You the nature of culture
18:12 that comes into the church as opposed to allowing God to really leave the church. But
18:17 the exciting thing is that everywhere. The latter rain is going to fall and we're going
18:25 to see. True hearted people. Grab a hold of God's precious truth. Yes, and we're going to
18:33 see this message go like wildfire. Yeah, whether it's in secular areas of the world
18:38 that are so resistant. Or in places that seem to be so open. The latter rain in the
18:45 Holy Spirit is going to fall and we're going to be a maze was going to give God the
18:49 glory. But anyway, I health too, coordinate a lot of activities administratively
18:58 hair, different take a lot of time, which Nancy says, you know, it's kind of gets

19:40 >> I now that it's spring and summer will come when he's on zoom. I can send him out to
19:46 the poor have your kitchen. And then I can make noise in the
19:50 >> Before the pandemic, we did lots of traveling international travel. and
19:56 that's probably one of the biggest parts of my work and Nancy's work is to help our
20:02 church members feel as though they're one huge, big family and it's good. Greg, you talk
20:08 to the group. You know, I was watching. Yeah, your family. That's right. And that's who
20:13 we are. We're for brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. >> I was just going to say,
20:17 we're united and yeah. And and the Lord. And that's what you that is. What unites us.

20:47 >> well, >> that that is us up. Part of what I do and we have people
20:56 come to the general conference from all around the world. I'm an American and it was
21:01 traumatic for me to go. To work there now to be a part of that because it is so big it's
21:12 not like when your past arena near that, you know, working with the church. And we need
21:17 to to make people feel welcome because it's really hard when you come from a different
21:23 culture, you may not know the language. Well. You know, the customs where no, I where do
21:30 take my dry cleaning? Where y find this? Where light, you Ivers ice. What? and I don't
21:39 do as much as that is the gal who is really in charge of that. But I I'm more into the
21:46 hospitality and as often as we can, and we had our first our first dinner this past week

22:21 of them are at home with small children. And if it gives them an out and to get to know each

22:41 to, you know, come together and feel like more and more like this is home and I'm
22:46 comfortable here. It's really fun to see them. You know. It's very traumatizing at
22:51 first. But then they are more and more comfortable and we just want them to feel like. A
22:59 family and to feel I do that. And we just, you know, I know where the markets are, where
23:07 you can get fresh vegetables. I like to you just you do things on a practical level.
23:12 That one thing that. I do when we travel together, they'll ask me to speak to the women.
23:20 And it's interesting because we pick things up that sometimes our husbands don't
23:28 have because the women will talk to me. Absolutely. And it helps. It helps Ted a fuller
23:37 view of what's really going on. I think in the church and so all, you know, talk about
23:46 children and the home and and this was all very new to me because I'm a physical
23:52 therapist and I'm never quite us out of school superintendent I didn't do
23:56 public speaking. But I just have to share from my own personal, most parents and my
24:03 full my my own walk with the Lord and how it has affected my mother my home and my
24:10 supporting of Ted, you know, because 2 are better than one when we work together as a
24:20 team. I think it makes a huge difference. I wish that everyone could work with their

49:08 the looting. You know what you're doing here at 3ABN God is blessing enormously. Well,
49:13 we could talk a lot more, but time is running out. But it's just so That's incredible. We
49:20 can do nothing against the gospel before. So. >> In spite of us, the gossip
49:23 was going to go forward. His word will not return voice saying you are preaching what
49:27 appeared to be people. We're still listening. I was going was going through my mind?
49:34 Were you covered where you are preaching where you and the rain. I was covered. But the
49:42 rain was kind of blowing rather vertical. Yeah. Yeah. We've got wet but big
49:50 Beautiful. Incredible story. Yeah. Oh, wait. thrilled. >> was a thrilling experience
49:56 and it's not it's happening. Not only on the island of wind or but yeah, other places and
50:02 that part of the world. But witness that. >> Through this pandemic, we
50:08 have watched the church all over the world. Use electronic means social media, kinds of
50:14 other ways. Cellphone evangelism, all kinds of things. And then also people
50:21 trying to even though they were socially distance being part of a truly. Productive
50:32 practical application of Christianity and the church. You know, we had depth isms
50:37 total baptisms with down during Twenty-twenty. But the Lord is blessing in 2021, you
50:44 know, things coming back now twenty-twenty reading things are getting better. I think
50:51 people and financially the Lord has blessed us enormously in 2021. coming out of a very
50:57 difficult year. The year I think people are recognized they Nuys ING. We're coming to
51:01 the very end. >> I need to be serious. One about our time. Our talents
51:09 are resources. Everything his Jesus is coming is. >> It's amazing testimony.
51:16 >> It there in the Philippines are member Eldred he came Thursday night live and talk
51:21 about that. But I believe you have the opportunity to meet with the Philippine president.
51:27 Is that not correct us about variance. >> It was arranged for us to
51:32 have a courtesy visit of maybe 5 minutes. And so we were prepared for that. Went
51:39 through all kinds of Tests. And what have you? You know, you had to be COVID COVID the
51:46 protected, you know, from all this business area. Finally, we came and we had quite a
51:52 delegation due to the president. he came in and sat down. And then. We listen to
52:01 him for a little bit. And he was sharing with us and he really identifies quite
52:08 closely with 7th. They at he likes what hadn't us do? and I began to talk with them a
52:14 little bit. And then I a asked as I usually do and I meet. Dignitaries like that. Can can
52:21 I read a little bit from the Bible to just encourage you. And go ahead. And so I read to
52:28 him and then I began to explain the verse verse and the various aspects of it. And
52:34 he was listening intently and everybody was kind of, I think amaze that Giving him a And so
52:42 we kept talking about things and and then I asked if I could pray for him and for the
52:47 country. Yes, yes, go ahead. You know, we had prayer, but what was supposed to be a 5
52:53 minute courtesy call turned into a 37 minute opportunity to witness to the president.
53:03 And so we praise God for >> Wonderful, as ambassador no there. He was very much

54:16 reason we keep an eye city's been are so many years through so many president. She said
54:18 this. The reason that each of us no matter which political party that which is ambassador
54:24 know is we know that he is true to his gun and if he's true to his God and he will be
54:32 honest with we'll be true to us. And so therefore, you know, president after
54:38 president, doesn't make a difference and they respect him greatly. And so what a
54:43 blessing in I just was imagining assuming that he was very much part of it. Yes,
54:49 he'll be at the General conference session in St. Louis. Yes, 16 11. So, yeah,

56:05 people and now with their enemies, just embrace each other and well, their friends
56:16 yeah, so that's spirit of you said, you know, the scripture read and not the spirit of
56:20 fear of the gentleman. And I forget his name >> That went to visit. He was
56:25 had to fight that himself. I mean, you're invited to go meet all these rentals and now
