seemed impossible.

because we desperately need
God to speak to us in this hour

When we consider God's Word,

is a lamp unto our feet.

As we study God's Word,
we see that in Genesis 1:1,

the Bible says,
"In the beginning,

God created the
heavens and the earth."
00:02:24.27\00:02:26.64
Some people believe
they came from monkeys,
00:02:26.68\00:02:29.21
they came from
some minute things
00:02:29.24\00:02:32.75
that out of
nowhere came into being.
00:02:32.78\00:02:35.08
But the Bible says
that God created the heavens
00:02:35.12\00:02:38.89
and the earth.
00:02:38.92\00:02:40.26
And I wanna ask you to consider

what the Bible says concerning
the creation of human beings.
00:02:43.22\00:02:48.43
This was the
crowning work or creation,
00:02:48.46\00:02:52.43
and it is presented to us
00:02:52.47\00:02:54.04
in Genesis 1:26-28.
00:02:54.07\00:03:00.48
And this is what the Bible says,

"Then God said, 'Let
Us make man in Our image,
00:03:03.55\00:03:07.92
according to Our likeness,
00:03:07.95\00:03:09.88
let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea,
00:03:09.92\00:03:13.15
over the birds of the
air, and over the cattle,
00:03:13.19\00:03:15.79
over all the earth
00:03:15.82\00:03:17.16
and over every creeping
thing that creeps on the earth.'
00:03:17.19\00:03:21.40
So God created
man in His own image,

in the image of
God He created him,
00:03:24.03\00:03:26.90
male and female He created them.

Then God blessed
them, and God said to them,

'Be fruitful and multiply,
fill the earth and subdue it,

have dominion over
the fish of the sea,

And so it is
registering in God's Word

that He created the
heavens and the earth

and He created
human beings upon it.

Yes, you, my friend,
are created in God's image
00:03:54.16\00:04:00.14
and it was God's purpose
that throughout eternity,
00:04:00.17\00:04:04.67
the human race would
enjoy happiness forever,
00:04:04.71\00:04:10.15
but the Bible
continues its record
00:04:10.18\00:04:14.88
with a sad message.
00:04:14.92\00:04:16.45
First, we turn your attention
00:04:16.48\00:04:18.55
to what is
written in Genesis 1:31,
00:04:18.59\00:04:22.69
it says, "Then God saw
everything that He had made,
00:04:22.72\00:04:27.30
and indeed it was very good.
00:04:27.33\00:04:30.60
So the evening and the
morning were the sixth day."
00:04:30.63\00:04:34.64
And so it is that the
Bible brings us the message
00:04:34.67\00:04:38.27
that everything that
God made was very good.
00:04:38.31\00:04:42.28
It was perfect.

However, as we
look around today,

you can see that not
everything seems perfect.

This is because sin
entered into the world,

but I would like to read to you

from a book called Education,

so that you can understand

what was the
future for human beings
00:05:05.97\00:05:09.50
had we remained faithful?

And it says in
the book Education

"When Adam came
from the Creator's hand,

he bore in his physical,
mental, and spiritual nature,

a likeness to his maker."

Invited man's study,
notice this, face to face,

communion with his Maker

was his high privilege.

Had he remained loyal to God,

all this would
have been his forever.

Throughout eternal ages

he would have continued to
gain new treasures of knowledge,

to discover fresh
springs of happiness,

and to obtain clearer
and yet clearer conceptions

power, and the love of God.

The opportunity was
beyond the understanding,

A test was given them,

the tree of knowledge

of good and evil.

We know the story.

Unfortunately,

Adam and Eve sinned.

the book Education, page 15,

it says, But by this
obedience, this was forfeited.

All the blessings
that were in store,

that the more,
the longer man lived,

men and women
lived the more fully
00:07:46.63\00:07:48.16
would they
reflect the glory of God,

His character.

It says in this book,

"Through sin the
divine likeness was marred,

and well-nigh obliterated.

Man's physical
powers were weakened,

his mental
capacity was lessened,
00:08:04.25\00:08:07.15
his spiritual vision dimmed.
00:08:07.18\00:08:09.58
He had become subject to death."

But that was the
situation after sin.

And God comes to Adam and Eve

after they sinned
with a message of hope.

He spoke to the serpent in
the hearing of Adam and Eve.

And this is
written in Genesis 3:15,
00:08:28.04\00:08:32.57
a message for you and me,
00:08:32.61\00:08:34.08
"And I, that is
God will put enmity
00:08:34.11\00:08:38.41
between you and the woman
00:08:38.45\00:08:40.38
and between your
seed and her seed,
00:08:40.42\00:08:43.62
he shall bruise your head
and you shall bruise his heel."
00:08:43.65\00:08:49.22
This Seed that will
bruise the serpent's head
00:08:49.26\00:08:52.29
is Jesus Christ.
00:08:52.33\00:08:54.83
And the wonderful
news is that Jesus came

to bruise the serpent's head.

Time past, Adam and Eve
did not see the blessing,

but they looked forward to it.

And the blessing
that Jesus would come

and destroy the serpent's head.

But you see, this is a
plan that was revealed,

but it was
already in God's mind.

That's why I asked

to Revelation 13:8.

And I would like to ask
you to pay close attention

to the last part.

Notice what it
says in Revelation 13:8.
00:09:34.37\00:09:37.54
It says, "All who dwell on
the earth will worship him,"
00:09:37.57\00:09:42.68
that is the beast,
00:09:42.71\00:09:44.15
"whose names are not
written in the Book of Life
00:09:44.18\00:09:47.62
of the Lamb slain
00:09:47.65\00:09:49.38
from the
foundation of the world."
00:09:49.42\00:09:52.32
Do you remember a scripture
that's talking about Jesus?
00:09:52.35\00:09:55.26
John the Baptist says,
"Behold, the Lamb of God
00:09:55.29\00:09:58.53
that takes away
the sin of the world."

You see this
Lamb of God is Jesus.

And it says in Revelation 13:8,
00:10:04.63\00:10:08.54
"This Lamb was slain
00:10:08.57\00:10:10.67
from the
foundation of the world."

As soon as there was a sinner,

there was already a savior
00:10:17.41\00:10:19.18
because it was
already in God's plan.

God saw it coming
and He prepared a plan.

Now, of course
you must understand

that the Bible reveals
and I would just quote it

because this is a

Romans 6:23,

"For the wages of sin is death."

This is what is waiting

for all those
that hold on to sin,

for all those that
refuse the gift of God.

The wages of sin is death.
00:10:49.58\00:10:52.51
I'm not talking
about the first death.

The Bible calls,

there's a first
death and a second death.
00:10:56.22\00:10:58.45
The first death is a
death you die from someone
00:10:58.49\00:11:01.56
either killing you or
from an accident or old age.

Some sickness comes
upon you and you die.

You're not paying for your
sins at that particular time.
00:11:09.00\00:11:13.20
It is at the judgment day,

for all those
00:11:17.17\00:11:18.51
that did not accept
the gift of salvation,

that they will
receive the wages of sin.

They will suffer
for their sins and die.

And that's why
Romans 6:23 ends with,

"But the gift of
God is eternal life

through His Son, Jesus Christ."

So I praise the Lord

that the gift of
God is eternal life

in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

And this gift of eternal life,
God is offering to you today.

Please consider that Jesus
did what seemed impossible.

Why did it seem impossible?

Because Satan and
his angels worked hard,
00:12:01.05\00:12:05.59
worked so hard to make it appear
00:12:05.62\00:12:09.56
that it's impossible
to save the human race.
00:12:09.59\00:12:12.29
He worked hard to take
00:12:12.33\00:12:16.46
from man the image of God
00:12:16.50\00:12:18.47
and stamp upon each individual
00:12:18.50\00:12:21.70
the image of the devil.
00:12:21.74\00:12:25.07
I want to reveal to you
00:12:25.11\00:12:26.91
what is found in the
scriptures in 1 Kings 8:56,
00:12:26.94\00:12:31.35
because God promised
that He would send the Seed,
00:12:31.38\00:12:34.92
the Lamb of God.
00:12:34.95\00:12:36.28
In 1 Kings 8:56,
we have a declaration.
00:12:36.32\00:12:40.22
It says, "Blessed be the Lord,
00:12:40.26\00:12:42.26
who has given rest
to His people Israel,
00:12:42.29\00:12:45.59
according to all
that He promised.
00:12:45.63\00:12:48.66
There has not failed one
word of all His good promise,
00:12:48.70\00:12:53.44
which He promised
through His servant Moses."
00:12:53.47\00:12:56.71
So we have here a
revealing that God
00:12:56.74\00:13:00.24
keeps His promises and
every promise in the Bible,
00:13:00.28\00:13:06.15
God is willing to keep.
00:13:06.18\00:13:08.55
Now, please understand,

there are some promises
that come with a condition.
00:13:10.19\00:13:13.25
You fulfill the condition,
the promise will be fulfilled.
00:13:13.29\00:13:17.06
But the promise of God's
00:13:17.09\00:13:19.16
sending His Son seemed afar off
00:13:19.19\00:13:23.23
and year after year
passed, 1000 years, 2000 years,
00:13:23.26\00:13:27.34
3000 years passed.
00:13:27.37\00:13:29.04
And some began to wonder,
00:13:29.07\00:13:31.31
will God fulfill His promise?
00:13:31.34\00:13:34.58
And in Galatians
Chapter 4, the answer is found.

And it says in
beginning in verse 4,

and I like to read
verse 4 and 5 to you.

It says, Galatians Chapter 4.

Interestingly enough,

the Book of Philippians,

Galatians Chapter

When the
fullness of time had come,

Now I want to back
up for just a moment

so that you may consider

that Satan
studied the prophecies.

And in the Book of Daniel,

as you go from Chapter 8 and 9,

you will notice

that there is a
prophecy foretold
00:14:46.41\00:14:49.22
about the time when
the Messiah would appear.

So Satan was
looking for the time.
00:14:53.02\00:14:55.36
So he worked hard,
00:14:55.39\00:14:57.69
worked very hard to
make it seem impossible
00:14:57.73\00:15:02.56
to save the human race.
00:15:02.60\00:15:04.73
And interestingly
enough, in the Book of Isaiah,

there is a declaration
00:15:08.80\00:15:10.31
made about how bad
conditions can get.
00:15:10.34\00:15:14.24
And during the time of Christ,
00:15:14.28\00:15:16.14
the condition was such as
00:15:16.18\00:15:18.68
it is declared in Isaiah 60:1.
00:15:18.71\00:15:23.42
Notice, it says,
00:15:23.45\00:15:24.79
"For behold, the
darkness shall cover
00:15:24.82\00:15:28.16
the earth and gross
darkness the people."
00:15:28.19\00:15:32.89
That's right.
00:15:32.93\00:15:35.06
Satan work hard so that the sin,
00:15:35.10\00:15:38.73
the darkness of sin was spread
out throughout the whole world.

The people whom God had chosen
00:15:43.94\00:15:46.68
to be His
representatives in the world
00:15:46.71\00:15:49.61
were going deeper
and deeper into sin.

The people of Israel.

So when the fullness of time
had come and God sends His Son,

it is as it seem that
there is no hope left,

but Christ came when
the time seemed impossible

"The fullness of time had come,

humanity becoming more degraded
through ages of transgression

called for the
coming of the Redeemer.

Satan had been working to make
the gulf deep and impassable
00:16:27.05\00:16:32.75
between earth and heaven.
00:16:32.79\00:16:34.12
By his falsehoods,
00:16:34.16\00:16:35.79
he had embodied and
emboldened men in sin.
00:16:35.82\00:16:39.36
It was his purpose to
wear out the forbearance of God

and to
extinguish His love for man,

so that he would abandon

the world to
satanic jurisdiction."

That was his goal.

And you may remember
that in Genesis Chapter 6,

he, the devil
had done such a work
00:16:58.75\00:17:03.28
that it says in
Genesis Chapter 6,
00:17:03.32\00:17:06.62
that the thoughts of man's
heart were evil continually.
00:17:06.65\00:17:12.16
And because of the
condition of the world,
00:17:12.19\00:17:15.30
God had to destroy
the earth with a flood.
00:17:15.33\00:17:18.53
And again, Satan was working
hard so that the thoughts
00:17:18.57\00:17:23.30
of men's hearts
and women's hearts
00:17:23.34\00:17:26.34
would be evil continually.
00:17:26.37\00:17:28.64
Upon this time,

Christ comes to the
human race with a message

of hope because the light
00:17:35.65\00:17:39.35
of God would arise upon them.

The light of the world

came through the divine
00:17:43.59\00:17:48.03
means presented that
Christ would be born of a woman,

become a human
being like you and I.

This is a miracle
that we do not understand

that God would be manifest

in the flesh
become a human being.

There is no
language in the human race

that can describe
the miracle of Jesus

becoming a man, becoming a baby.

Satan knew that
Mary had been chosen.

And I imagine that he
looked for opportunity

to stop this woman
from having that baby.

He looked for opportunities,
but heaven's secret service,

the angels were protecting Mary

from being
destroyed by the devil.

You see, God did not
allow the devil to end the life

of Christ before He was born.

And you will
notice in the Bible,

that it says that
when Christ was born,

the king at that time,

Herod sent out to
kill all the children

that were from a
certain age and under,
00:19:06.74\00:19:10.71
because he was
afraid that a king
00:19:10.75\00:19:12.98
would be taking his place.
00:19:13.01\00:19:15.35
And he sent out soldiers
00:19:15.38\00:19:16.95
and they went
from house to house
00:19:16.99\00:19:18.75
trying to find one
that is the Savior,

Jesus Christ.

Satan worked through this man.

This man had no idea
