We find that there is a path

that doesn't seem to
look like a very positive one

as we kind of
called it or discussed it,
00:03:41.95\00:03:44.69
discussed it to be labeled

perhaps as the spiritual decline
00:03:46.32\00:03:48.22
and fall of the
United States of America.
00:03:48.26\00:03:51.49
And we connected it or
at least illustrated it
00:03:51.53\00:03:53.83
from the point
00:03:53.86\00:03:55.20
in comparing it to the
nations of Israel and Rome.
00:03:55.23\00:03:59.37
We saw there
that in the beginning,
00:03:59.40\00:04:01.00
Israel throughout its journey,
00:04:01.04\00:04:03.17
but very early in its journey,
00:04:03.20\00:04:04.74
we see that they pretty
much rejected God as their King.
00:04:04.77\00:04:09.54
And they declared to
the prophet, to Samuel.
00:04:09.58\00:04:11.85
They said,
00:04:11.88\00:04:13.21
"We want our own king. We
want a man to rule over us.
00:04:13.25\00:04:16.05
We want him to be our
king and to make the decisions
00:04:16.08\00:04:18.45
and to lead and guide us."

So they rejected God
00:04:19.85\00:04:21.19
and God told the Prophet Samuel,
00:04:21.22\00:04:22.56
hey look, you know,
they haven't rejected you,

they've rejected me.
00:04:24.33\00:04:25.83
And, of course, we know that
00:04:25.86\00:04:27.20
all throughout
the Old Testament,
00:04:27.23\00:04:28.56
it tells the story of
the journey, the path,
00:04:28.60\00:04:31.47
the declining path of a nation
that would eventually split,
00:04:31.50\00:04:35.24
become unified
and reach its demise.
00:04:35.27\00:04:38.57
Of course, we
know a second version
00:04:38.61\00:04:41.31
or second phase
of Israel's journey
00:04:41.34\00:04:43.21
would lead them to be overtaken
00:04:43.24\00:04:44.61
by another great world power.
00:04:44.65\00:04:46.98
And we know that
world power to be the nation
00:04:47.02\00:04:49.08
or the Empire of Rome.
00:04:49.12\00:04:50.85
And we even see some
comparative characteristics
00:04:50.89\00:04:54.62
between the nation
or the Empire of Rome
00:04:54.66\00:04:56.96
and, of course, modern
United States of America.
00:04:56.99\00:04:59.89
We're gonna make some more
of those comparisons today.

But today, my friends,

I wanna point you to
the text of scripture.

Before we can properly
identify the second beast,

we have to first
identify the first beast, right?

And in the last
presentation, in part one,
00:05:14.04\00:05:16.18
we looked at some
very clear identifications
00:05:16.21\00:05:19.31
of that second
beast of Revelation 13,
00:05:19.35\00:05:21.88
which we have
already clearly said
00:05:21.92\00:05:23.72
is the United States of America,
00:05:23.75\00:05:25.22
it can be no other empire.
00:05:25.25\00:05:26.86
It can be no other nation
00:05:26.89\00:05:28.49
than that of the
United States of America.
00:05:28.52\00:05:31.36
But what I would like to do
00:05:31.39\00:05:32.73
is simply kind of do some repeat
00:05:32.76\00:05:35.16
and enlarge for the moment.
00:05:35.20\00:05:36.67
And I want us to go
to Revelation Chapter 13.

And I want us to
just for a moment

look into what
the Bible has to say

about this first
beast of Revelation 13,
00:05:42.37\00:05:46.01
because if you don't study
00:05:46.04\00:05:47.38
who this first
beast of Revelation 13 is,
00:05:47.41\00:05:50.11
then by the time you get
00:05:50.15\00:05:51.48
to the second
beast of Revelation 13,
00:05:51.51\00:05:53.01
you're not gonna
have the full story,
00:05:53.05\00:05:54.62
because the second beast,
00:05:54.65\00:05:56.18
ultimately in the end,
00:05:56.22\00:05:57.55
inevitably creates an
alliance with the first beast.
00:05:57.59\00:06:00.56
And you need to have
the proper identifications
00:06:00.59\00:06:03.02
and understanding there.
00:06:03.06\00:06:04.39
So let's go to
Revelation Chapter 13,

I'm going to begin
reading in verse 1.
00:06:06.46\00:06:09.16
We're not going
to read all the texts
00:06:09.20\00:06:11.17
pertaining to that first beast,
00:06:11.20\00:06:12.57
but we're going to
read the major ones
00:06:12.60\00:06:13.94
that give us some
clear identifications
00:06:13.97\00:06:16.10
as to
undeniably who this can be.
00:06:16.14\00:06:19.57
Notice what the Bible
says in Revelation Chapter 13,
00:06:19.61\00:06:22.31
beginning in verse 1.
00:06:22.34\00:06:25.11
John writes, he says,
00:06:25.15\00:06:26.48
"Then I stood on
the sand of the sea.
00:06:26.51\00:06:28.32
And I saw a beast
rising up out of the sea,
00:06:28.35\00:06:30.75
having seven
heads and ten horns,
00:06:30.79\00:06:34.76
and on his horns ten crowns,"
00:06:34.79\00:06:38.36
don't miss that,
00:06:38.39\00:06:39.79
"and on his heads
a blasphemous name."
00:06:39.83\00:06:44.13
It says, "Now the beast
which I saw was like a leopard,
00:06:44.17\00:06:46.94
his feet were
like the feet of a bear
00:06:46.97\00:06:49.70
and, of course his mouth
like the mouth of a lion.
00:06:49.74\00:06:52.94
The dragon gave him
his power, his throne,
00:06:52.97\00:06:56.48
and his great authority."
00:06:56.51\00:06:59.05
We're gonna go to verse 5.
00:06:59.08\00:07:00.42
We'll come back to
verse 3 in a moment.

But verse 5 says, "And he,"
speaking of this first beast.
00:07:02.05\00:07:05.75
"And he was given a
mouth speaking great things
00:07:05.79\00:07:07.82
and blasphemies,
00:07:07.86\00:07:09.19
and he was given authority
to continue forty-two months.
00:07:09.22\00:07:14.56
Then he opened his mouth
in blasphemy against God,
00:07:14.60\00:07:18.53
to blaspheme His
name, His tabernacle,
00:07:18.57\00:07:21.84
and those who dwell in heaven.
00:07:21.87\00:07:25.47
It was granted to him
to make war with the saints
00:07:25.51\00:07:28.91
and to overcome them.
00:07:28.94\00:07:30.75
And authority was given him
00:07:30.78\00:07:32.65
over every tribe,
tongue and nation."

Now, within the
context of those verses

that we just read,

we didn't read all of the verses

pertaining to that first beast.

And there's a reason
why, for the sake of time,

we're going to
read the major ones

pertaining to
its identification.
00:07:48.50\00:07:50.73
But now I want to
go back to verse 3.

And after we read
a portion of verse 3,

that will give
us the completeness
00:07:56.81\00:07:58.37
of how we can start
listing these identifications
00:07:58.41\00:08:01.41
as to who this is very clearly.
00:08:01.44\00:08:04.25
So let's go back
to Revelation 13:3,
00:08:04.28\00:08:06.98
notice what the Bible says,
00:08:07.02\00:08:08.35
speaking of that first beast.
00:08:08.38\00:08:09.72
It says,
00:08:09.75\00:08:11.09
"And I saw one of his heads
00:08:11.12\00:08:12.85
as if it had
been mortally wounded,
00:08:12.89\00:08:15.69
and his deadly
wound was healed."
00:08:15.72\00:08:20.46
Okay.
00:08:20.50\00:08:22.00
So there you have it.
00:08:22.03\00:08:24.23
It receives eventually
a deadly wound, right?
00:08:24.27\00:08:27.97
But then, you know, if
you don't really understand
00:08:28.00\00:08:30.41
the historicity
behind this beast,
00:08:30.44\00:08:32.97
then you come to think that
00:08:33.01\00:08:34.48
just by reading the
chronology of verse 3,
00:08:34.51\00:08:37.55
it's like the
deadly wound is given.
00:08:37.58\00:08:39.15
And then immediately
the deadly wound is healed.
00:08:39.18\00:08:41.45
But you and I know
the nature of a wound.
00:08:41.48\00:08:43.55
That's not how it takes place.
00:08:43.59\00:08:44.92
If you receive
any kind of wound,
00:08:44.95\00:08:46.39
but especially a bad wound.
00:08:46.42\00:08:47.82
And in this case,
we know it was bad
00:08:47.86\00:08:49.19
because the Bible
says it was a deadly wound.
00:08:49.22\00:08:51.66
We know that that type of
wound does not heal overnight.
00:08:51.69\00:08:54.83
It does not heal instantaneous.
00:08:54.86\00:08:57.03
There is a span of time
00:08:57.07\00:08:58.47
between the time
that the wound is given
00:08:58.50\00:09:00.37
until the time that
the wound is healed.

And we're gonna
find out a little bit

that, of course, we
are living currently

right now, as I'm speaking,

we are living in the time period

in which that healing process
00:09:08.71\00:09:10.31
has been going on for some time.
00:09:10.35\00:09:12.28
We're living during
the healing process,
00:09:12.31\00:09:14.45
but that deadly wound is
not quite healed just yet,
00:09:14.48\00:09:18.15
but, my friends, I
believe we are on the way,
00:09:18.19\00:09:20.29
we are approaching very closely
00:09:20.32\00:09:22.69
the complete
healing of that wound.
00:09:22.72\00:09:25.36
But based on what we
just read in verses 1.

2, 5, 6, 7, and
obviously verse 3,

as we went back there.
00:09:31.87\00:09:33.20
If we look at
all of those verses

and we consider them,

what identifications
can we draw from this?

Very, very
clearly, let's look at this.

I brought up about
six identifications

or six points of identification.
00:09:42.31\00:09:44.01
Number one,
00:09:44.05\00:09:45.38
notice how this beast
comes up out of the sea.

And we know that that
beast coming up out of the sea
00:09:49.12\00:09:52.05
simply represents
mass population of people.
00:09:52.09\00:09:55.72
If you go over
to Revelation 17:15,
00:09:55.76\00:09:58.33
we don't have to guess as
to what the sea represents.
00:09:58.36\00:10:00.80
We know Revelation is
a highly symbolic book.
00:10:00.83\00:10:03.26
There's lots of
symbols that you must allow.

Rule number one, remember,
00:10:05.60\00:10:07.00
we always must allow the
Bible to interpret itself.

In this case Revelation 17:15

provides for us an answer
00:10:12.51\00:10:14.54
as to what that water, that sea,
00:10:14.58\00:10:16.75
that, that beast is coming
out of what it represents.

And, of course, it
tells us that it represents
00:10:19.25\00:10:20.98
a multiple mass population
of nations, tribes and tongues.
00:10:21.02\00:10:25.25
So a mass
populated group of people.
00:10:25.29\00:10:28.62
So that's number
one identification.

Number two,
00:10:30.23\00:10:31.56
we know that this
is a blasphemous power.

It's blaspheming God,
00:10:34.23\00:10:35.56
it's blaspheming God's
name and God's tabernacle.
00:10:35.60\00:10:38.73
And, of course,
we know very clearly
00:10:38.77\00:10:40.10
then in the Bible,
00:10:40.14\00:10:41.47
if you do a
responsible research,
00:10:41.50\00:10:42.84
you know, that blasphemy
according to the Bible,

according to the Scripture,
00:10:44.61\00:10:46.68
there's many times,
00:10:46.71\00:10:48.04
many different ways
you can blaspheme God.
00:10:48.08\00:10:49.41
But ultimately the
general rule is that

a person who blasphemes God
00:10:52.48\00:10:54.78
is a person who is usurping
00:10:54.82\00:10:56.89
or taking
control of God's offices,
00:10:56.92\00:11:00.16
His control, His authority,
00:11:00.19\00:11:02.46
His ultimate
authority upon themselves.
00:11:02.49\00:11:05.76
So as a creative
man or created man,

if we are taking God's authority
00:11:08.26\00:11:10.63
upon ourselves,
00:11:10.67\00:11:12.00
that we are forgiving sins,
00:11:12.03\00:11:14.00
and we are persecuting
people in the name of God,

perhaps by taking people's lives
00:11:16.27\00:11:18.47
because we
believe they're heretics
00:11:18.51\00:11:20.08
or whatever the case may be,
00:11:20.11\00:11:21.84
or simply claiming
to be God on earth.

The Bible
declares that as blasphemy.
00:11:24.68\00:11:26.78
So this power is
a blasphemous power.

Identification number three,
00:11:30.52\00:11:32.79
the Bible says that this
beast would reign for 42,
00:11:32.82\00:11:36.76
and I put there prophetic months
00:11:36.79\00:11:38.49
because we're talking
about prophetic timing.
00:11:38.53\00:11:40.70
A biblical month
contains 30 days.
00:11:40.73\00:11:44.47
So if you take 42 and
you multiply that times 30,
00:11:44.50\00:11:47.64
you're going to get 1,260 days.
00:11:47.67\00:11:52.21
But remember we're
about prophetic timing.
00:11:52.24\00:11:54.44
And we always apply
that year- day principle

as found in Scripture.

So we're not talking
about 1,260 literal days,

but we're talking
about 1,260 years.

So again, 42
prophetic months or 1,260 years.

The Bible tells us
as an identification

that, that great first
beast, Antichrist power,

as you might have
heard it called before,

that is a blasphemous power.

And it's going to rule
historically for 1,260 years.

Let's go on to our
fourth identification.

It's a persecutive power.

It seem persecuting the
saints over in Daniel Chapter 7

as well as Revelation13,
as well as Revelation 17.

When you see that great harlot
00:12:43.16\00:12:44.63
and she's drunken with
the blood of the saints
00:12:44.66\00:12:46.80
and the martyrs of Jesus Christ.

We see very clearly here,
this is a persecuting power.

So this is a power
00:12:51.63\00:12:52.97
that thinks it has the authority
00:12:53.00\00:12:54.70
to persecute God's saints.

And we're gonna see
in a blasphemous way

in the name of God.

We see there that it is given
an identification number five,
00:13:02.61\00:13:07.02
that this power is given,
00:13:07.05\00:13:08.78
of course, by
the dragon himself.

But it says there very clearly
that all the world wanders

after this beast,
00:13:13.76\00:13:15.09
that it is given world dominion
00:13:15.12\00:13:16.46
and everyone
worships this beast.

We're talking about a
world dominant system.

We're not talking
about some little system

on some little meely-neely
corner of some street,

somewhere in some city,

we're talking about a
world dominant system.

And then, of course, our
last identification here,

just for the sake of time,

we see that

this power
receives a deadly wound.

Antichrist of Bible prophecy,

but a system of people.

And we see that this system
that fits this identification,

that fits all
these identification.

They're established
in a mass population

a blasphemous power,

claiming the authority of God

ruling for 1,260
years, historically.

That also has a history
of persecuting God's saints

down through time.
00:14:31.50\00:14:32.83
That is also a
worldwide dominant system.

And, of course, historically
also received a deadly wound

in the year, 1798.
