a war broke out in heaven

and that an angel
and is causing the dragon

fought against
Michael and his angels.

This is another
name for the devil.

And, of course,

Lucifer was the
original name of this angel

that was able to
convince a third of the angels

to join him in rebellion
against God's government.

You see, Satan
wanted to be adored.
00:02:49.36\00:02:51.97
Satan wanted the throne of God.

Satan wanted
everyone to follow him.

He had really nothing to offer

because God is love

and all that was
for the happiness

of His creative
beings God has supplied.

Satan could
provide nothing better

than what God
had already offered.

So he used deception
and lies to lure people,

to lure the angels to his side,

deceived, they followed along.

were also deceived.

And this is why

The Bible tells us,

"For all have
sinned and fall short

You see, every single
person in this universe

and throughout the
history of the world

has committed at least one sin.

But you see, God
does not leave us there.

God offers mercy

just like He
offered Adam and Eve mercy,

telling them that
the seed of the woman

would come to crush the
head of the serpent, the devil.

So there's hope in God's Word
for each and every one of us.

Let's go to the
Book of John 3:16.

The Bible tells us,

"For God so loved the world

that He gave His
only begotten Son,

that whoever believes
in Him should not perish,

but have everlasting life."

Question: Who is it that
receives everlasting life

ever and ever without end.

So what does the
Bible really say about that?

I want to tell you right now

that I have more scriptures
than time to share with you.

devil and his angels.'"

When the devil and his angels

sinned and were
thrown out of heaven,

God had already determined

that they would die
in the lake of fire,

us a sure resting place.

coming of Jesus Christ.

Now we're gonna talk rapidly

about what occurs
after Jesus Christ returns.

In the book 1
Thessalonians Chapter 4,

the Bible tells us the following

beginning in verse 14,

"For the Lord Himself
will descend from heaven

with a shout, with
the voice of an archangel

and with the trumpet of God,

and the dead in
Christ will rise first.

Then we who are alive and remain

shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds

to meet the Lord in the air.

And thus, we shall
always be with the Lord.

Therefore comfort one

I read 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18.

So we have here
that when Jesus returns,

Christ will rise first.

And those that are alive

that believe in
the Lord Jesus Christ

will rise up

and these two groups
will meet the Lord in the air

and will be taken to
heaven for 1000 years.

It doesn't say
that in this passage,

but as you continue reading,

you will notice that

the righteous spend 1000 years
reigning with Christ in heaven.

Let's go now to the Book

question that must be answered,

happens to the wicked?

wicked when Christ returns?

In 2 Thessalonians
is one of those places

what happens to the wicked.

And when the lawless
one will be revealed,

whom the Lord will consume
with the breath of his mouth,

and destroy with the
brightness of his coming.

So the lawless one,

wicked are destroyed

by the brightness of
the glory of Jesus Christ

because He is
coming with His glory,

not veiled as He
did come to this earth

when He chose to die for us.

So the wicked die

how the earth will be,

This is what the Bible says,

"Behold, the day
of the Lord comes,

cruel, with both
wrath and fierce anger,

But notice verse 12,

"I will make a mortal
more rare than fine gold,

a man more than the
golden wedge of Ophir."

So in this scripture,

we notice that it talks about
what happens to the wicked,

but also what
happens to the righteous,

that the Lord will make them
more precious than fine gold.

be on the side of those

that follow Jesus,

on the side of those

that choose to be
children of the Lord,

because God is
going to transform you,

given the blessing

without pain or suffering.

Let's go now to
Revelation Chapter 20

to see how this
is also described

in Revelation 20:1-2,

"Then I saw an angel
coming down from heaven,

having the key to
the bottomless pit

and a great chain in his
hand, he lay hold of the dragon,

that serpent of old,
who is the devil and Satan,

and bound him for 1000 years."

So we see here a
description of this mighty angel

that is able to bind the devil.

And it's a chain
of circumstances,

he cannot tempt anyone,

because everyone is dead at
the second coming of Christ.

Notice how this

"And he cast them

and shut him up

so that he should
deceive the nations no more

till the 1000
years were finished.

But after these things,

he must be released
for a little while."

So we see here that

Satan will be
bound for 1000 years.

And you ask,

"Well, why is he
being bound for 1000 years?"

All the wicked all
over the world are dead.

And Satan and his
angels are the only ones alive

bound to this earth,

can't go anywhere

and for several 1000 years

busy with the
activity of causing trouble,

causing pain, tempting people.

Now, there's no one to tempt.

Now, Satan and his
angels have the opportunity

to consider the
works of their hands,

the destruction and the
suffering they have caused,

and to meditate
upon what they have done

throughout the time

since sin
entered into the world,

but you see,

1000 years makes no
change in their attitude,

makes no change in their desire,

they continue
to want to do evil.

And we will see
this as we continue.

Now the Bible
tells us what happens.

these are the righteous,

or on their hands.

And they lived and reigned
with Christ for a 1000 years."

Praise the Lord.

But notice how it
talks about the wicked.

"But the rest of the
dead did not live again

until the 1000
years were finished."

This is what
happens to the wicked.

Now the end of verse 5

appears to really
belong to verse 6.

Because it says this
is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he

On such the second
death has no power,

she was such a wonderful person.

And they will be able to
see the records of hidden sins

and the evil they had done.

They had never confessed
and how they chose to be wicked

instead of following
the Lord Jesus Christ.

All the
questions will be answered.

And for 1000 years,

they enjoy the
