I think that we are living

in very, very interesting times.

And the reason
why I felt convicted

and led to deliver a message

on the identity
of the Antichrist

is for a couple of reasons.

Number one, as I mentioned,

we're living in
interesting times,

and I can't help

but see coming
across my social media,

talking on the phone

and just interacting
with people around Christians

and non-Christians
both around the world
00:03:01.24\00:03:04.38
who are because of the
strange and challenging times
00:03:04.41\00:03:07.88
that we're living in,
00:03:07.92\00:03:09.25
they're being
drawn to the Word of God.
00:03:09.28\00:03:11.32
They're being drawn to study
00:03:11.35\00:03:12.92
the deep prophetic
themes of Scripture.

And people are asking questions.

And one of those
popular questions

that I'm often getting is,

is the Antichrist
gonna show up soon?

Antichrist is gonna show up

and do all of his evil deeds.

There's lots of
questions pertaining to this

and what better time

than to go back to the Bible

and reintroduce ourselves

to what the Bible actually says

Antichrist of Bible prophecy?

Another reason why I
find it very important

kind of unavoidable.

kind of an aerial view,

kind of a bird's
eye survey of scripture,

great prophetic books

like Daniel and Revelation,

that are prophetic in nature.

content of the Antichrist,

And then, of course,
you actually see the term,

We're talking about

All of those
passages, my friends,

we find the
subject of the Antichrist

coming back up, back up,
00:05:21.05\00:05:22.52
almost like a
repetitive sequence.

Now what does this tell us?

And why is it important
that we revisit this topic?

Well, just by what we
just saw a clear illustration,

God is invested,

He is interested in helping us

to be clear on these subjects,

clear as to who the enemy is

and what the enemy is
doing to keep you from Him.

Yes, we have a
gospel, an everlasting gospel,

and many people might say,

doesn't fit into
the gospel message."

And I would just
simply disagree with that

because in that great

redemptive message of salvation,

God is interested in making sure

that you are informed

of the enemy's plan

that is set up against you
to keep you from the Creator.

And so today, I
want to bring about

of how we can properly
identify who this Antichrist is.

There may be many of you

this before in your life.

where we find
the very first time

that the word
Antichrist appears in Scripture.

So the actual term Antichrist

appears in
Scripture in 1 John 2:18.

Notice what the Bible says.

He says, "Little children,

it is the last
time or the last hour

and as you have heard, that,"

notice, "Antichrist shall come."

Okay,

and then many people
would stop right there,

but notice what
it continues to say.

"Even now are
there many Antichrists,"

there it is,

whereby we know that
it is the last time."

So I wanna pause there

and just make
this very, very clear.

We know that the Bible
tells us very, very clearly

that, "Yes, an
Antichrist shall come."

And many
Christians today are saying,

"Yes, I know he's coming.
00:07:23.41\00:07:24.77
He shall come soon."

And it's very sad indeed

because many
Christians had been deceived

into believing, my friends,
00:07:29.31\00:07:30.95
that this
Antichrist is gonna show up

after the church is raptured,
00:07:33.15\00:07:34.78
that he's gonna show up sometime
00:07:34.82\00:07:36.62
after God has evacuated
the saints from the earth,
00:07:36.65\00:07:39.89
but I'm here to set
the record clear, okay?

God would not
give us this warning.

In fact, these epistles
here, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John,

this was written
00:07:47.46\00:07:48.80
primarily to the
Christian audience.

Why would God warn His people
of an Antichrist infiltration
00:07:51.00\00:07:56.14
or an Antichrist enemy presence
00:07:56.17\00:07:59.14
if he was planning on evacuating
00:07:59.17\00:08:01.31
or rapturing the
church beforehand?
00:08:01.34\00:08:03.35
So that's just
another great point

that we need to realize
that God is trying to warn us.

And He's saying
that while you have heard
00:08:07.38\00:08:09.02
that the Antichrist is coming,

I'm telling you
he's already here,
00:08:11.09\00:08:13.09
even 2000 years ago
nearly, John wrote this down.
00:08:13.12\00:08:16.83
And he's telling us
that the Antichrist,
00:08:16.86\00:08:18.99
that spirit of
Antichrist was at work,
00:08:19.03\00:08:22.13
even in his day.
00:08:22.16\00:08:23.87
And notice how he says
it's there's more than one.
00:08:23.90\00:08:25.70
Many people think
00:08:25.73\00:08:27.07
that the Antichrist
is one single individual
00:08:27.10\00:08:29.44
that's gonna show
up at the end of time,
00:08:29.47\00:08:31.37
and he's gonna wreak
havoc on the entire planet.

Well, while there
is a leadership figure,
00:08:33.51\00:08:36.68
an Antichrist leadership
figure in the last days,

which we're going to
talk about in just a moment.

Actually, the Bible
clearly reveals to us

that it's a system.

There's multiple Antichrists,

in other words,
there's more than one.

Notice what the
Bible continues to say

in 1 John 2:19.
00:08:53.90\00:08:56.77
It says, "They,"
speaking of the Antichrist,

"went out from us,"
00:08:58.93\00:09:00.47
okay, "but they were not of us,
00:09:00.50\00:09:03.30
for if they had been of us,
00:09:03.34\00:09:04.67
they would no doubt
have continued with us,
00:09:04.71\00:09:08.38
but they went out,
00:09:08.41\00:09:10.01
that they might be made manifest
00:09:10.05\00:09:12.05
that they were not all of us."

So this is a very powerful point

saying that when they,

speaking of the Antichrist,

he's speaking of the church.

Many people think
that the Antichrist

is gonna come
from some, you know,

elite governmental
organization of some kind.

And while there
is a political side

to the Antichrist,

we need to be very,
very clear, my friends,

the devil's ultimate deception

is not to attack
from outside the church,

So what we're about to
notice, later on in our study,

this Antichrist system?
