the West Bank, Iraq,

Lebanon, Nicaragua, Colombia.

As we turn to
prophecy in our study today,

we discover that tomorrow
the roar of unleashed winds
00:09:14.21\00:09:18.17
on the eve of Armageddon
may deafen us with their fury.

And once they are unleashed,

human destiny begins its final
approach on the runway of time.

it will be too late.

The prophecy
we're turning to now

as to how we here

In other words,
those things in the past

are written for our benefit
to alert us in the last days.

Friend, here's what this means,

those Old Testament
miracles during the Exodus

when the plagues fell on
Egypt but God's people escaped.

They are extremely important
00:11:03.32\00:11:04.65
because this has something
to do with our message tonight.

It directly impacts us.
00:11:09.31\00:11:11.08
It has a sobering parallel
00:11:11.11\00:11:13.27
to the final
exodus from planet earth.
00:11:13.30\00:11:16.22
But before we look at the time
00:11:16.25\00:11:18.60
when God rains down
those seven last plagues
00:11:18.63\00:11:21.16
here in the end
of the New Testament.

Let's go back and
review for a moment.

Let's remember that first of all

on Egypt in the Old Testament.

receive these plagues.

Pharaoh, if you
cooperate with God,

He'll bless you.

"Thus says the Lord God Jehovah,

'Let My people go.'"

But you remember the
story Pharaoh wouldn't budge.

Refused.

Hardened his heart.
In fact he insulted God.

So the smart
bombs began to fall.

Let's review
those ten calamities

exploding one by one,
like patriot missiles.

Remember that
first the Nile River,

worshiped by the
Egyptians, turned to blood.

Bible says all of the fish died,

all the water in Egypt
became blood for seven days.

But Pharaoh still
refused to let God's people go.
00:12:34.15\00:12:37.95
So next a plague of
frogs infected the land.

Millions of them,
they were in their food,
00:12:41.15\00:12:43.52
in their beds, everywhere.
00:12:43.55\00:12:45.83
Pharaoh
stubbornly refused to budge.
00:12:45.86\00:12:49.13
A plague of lice came next.
00:12:49.16\00:12:51.72
Well, the
arrogant ruler's cabinet
00:12:51.75\00:12:53.36
of advisers thought well,
00:12:53.39\00:12:54.57
maybe this is just
sort-- some sort of trick.
00:12:54.60\00:12:57.47
So Pharaoh had his magicians
00:12:57.50\00:12:58.80
tried to
replicate the pestilence.
00:12:58.83\00:13:01.53
But Pharaoh still wouldn't
agree to let the people go.

By the way, the Bible tells us
00:13:05.86\00:13:08.31
that those first three plagues
00:13:08.34\00:13:10.70
fell on both the
Hebrews and the Egyptians.
00:13:10.73\00:13:14.55
But from here on,

the plagues fell only
on the ungodly Egyptians

and that when
things really began

to get a whole lot more serious.

The fourth plague came,
stinging, venomous flies.

So epidemic, so awful,

of the Israelites dead.

And the heart of
Pharaoh was hardened,

So, the sixth plague
fell, boils on man and beast,

head to toe, miserable boils.

obstinate monarch refused

So the next smart
bomb, a plague of hail,

actually toyed with the idea

but when the bombardment abated,

so did his good intentions.

plague hit a cyclone

up every living thing
