It was early morning on July 16, 1945, at the Alamogordo proving 00:00:32.66\00:00:38.33 grounds near White Sands, New Mexico. 00:00:38.36\00:00:40.58 A select group of atomic scientists and U.S. military 00:00:40.61\00:00:44.36 personnel had gathered. 00:00:44.39\00:00:45.70 On a tower in the distance was a secret, untested nuclear device, 00:00:45.73\00:00:50.55 code named Trinity. 00:00:50.58\00:00:52.23 The countdown begins, and then the button was pushed... 00:00:52.26\00:00:56.51 In a flash of light the nuclear age came bursting on the scene. 00:00:59.89\00:01:03.76 American had won the race to unleash the destructive power of 00:01:03.79\00:01:07.73 the atom. 00:01:07.76\00:01:08.73 It was clear this power was awesome-too awesome 00:01:08.74\00:01:11.41 to remain untamed. 00:01:11.44\00:01:12.96 So began the quest of science to harness that power for peace, 00:01:12.99\00:01:16.99 while others feared it would lead to another war 00:01:17.02\00:01:19.97 more destructive than any since the beginning of time. 00:01:20.00\00:01:22.96 The beginning of time. 00:01:22.99\00:01:24.89 The beginning of time for man. 00:01:24.92\00:01:26.55 The beginning of time for the universe. 00:01:26.58\00:01:28.71 How did it all begin? 00:01:28.74\00:01:30.56 What keeps the awesome power of the atom in check until it 00:01:30.59\00:01:34.53 bursts forth in those uncontrolled nuclear reactions? 00:01:34.56\00:01:38.17 Scientists have deciphered the laws that govern them, 00:01:38.20\00:01:41.24 but who made the laws? 00:01:41.27\00:01:42.48 Who made the atoms? 00:01:42.51\00:01:43.99 And who made the earth, sun, moon, and stars? 00:01:44.02\00:01:48.09 Hi, I'm Don Mackintosh, and in this program we'll be exploring 00:01:48.12\00:01:52.32 the scientific mysteries of the universe, and the controversy 00:01:52.35\00:01:55.80 over how it came to be. 00:01:55.83\00:01:57.28 But first, on Christmas Eve in 1968, the Apollo 8 Astronauts, 00:01:57.31\00:02:03.21 Anders, Lovell, and Bormann, gave an impressive answer 00:02:03.24\00:02:06.94 to the question of who made the heavens and the earth, 00:02:06.97\00:02:09.75 when they relayed a special message back to Earth from their 00:02:09.78\00:02:12.85 orbit around the moon. 00:02:12.88\00:02:14.23 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 00:02:14.26\00:02:18.81 And the earth was without form, and void; 00:02:18.84\00:02:22.63 and darkness was upon the face of the deep. 00:02:22.66\00:02:25.60 And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 00:02:25.63\00:02:29.85 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 00:02:29.88\00:02:35.46 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided 00:02:35.49\00:02:40.52 the light from the darkness. 00:02:40.55\00:02:41.82 And God called the light Day, and the darkness 00:02:41.85\00:02:45.87 he called night. 00:02:45.90\00:02:46.87 And the evening and the morning were the first day. 00:02:46.88\00:02:50.25 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of 00:02:50.28\00:02:53.59 the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 00:02:53.62\00:02:57.54 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters 00:02:57.57\00:03:01.88 which were under the firmament from the waters which were above 00:03:01.91\00:03:04.83 the firmament; and it was so. 00:03:04.86\00:03:07.32 And God called the firmament Heaven. 00:03:07.35\00:03:09.95 and the evening and the morning were the second day. 00:03:09.98\00:03:13.61 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered 00:03:13.64\00:03:17.15 together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: 00:03:17.18\00:03:21.25 and it was so. 00:03:21.28\00:03:22.30 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering 00:03:22.33\00:03:27.12 together of the waters called He Seas: 00:03:27.15\00:03:29.83 and God saw that it was good. 00:03:29.86\00:03:32.58 And from the crew of Apollo 8, we close with good night, 00:03:32.61\00:03:38.18 good luck, a Merry Christmas, and God bless all of you- 00:03:38.21\00:03:43.47 all of you on this good Earth. 00:03:43.50\00:03:45.77 The world was stunned! 00:03:45.80\00:03:48.47 Like a voice from the heavens, it was reminded of the Creator's 00:03:48.50\00:03:52.48 claim in Genesis that He had done it all in six days. 00:03:52.51\00:03:56.25 But most modern scientists long ago rejected the six literal 00:03:56.28\00:04:00.86 days of creation in favor of Big Bang's theory of geologic, 00:04:00.89\00:04:05.05 and cosmic evolution over six long, geologic 00:04:05.08\00:04:08.99 and cosmic periods. 00:04:09.02\00:04:10.69 They claim it's one of science's greatest achievements 00:04:10.72\00:04:14.25 of all time. 00:04:14.28\00:04:15.25 But two U.S. scientists, Dr. Robert Gentry, and his son 00:04:15.26\00:04:19.67 and associate, Dr. David Gentry, now prepare to show why it's 00:04:19.70\00:04:23.74 actually scientists' greatest blunder, not it's 00:04:23.77\00:04:27.07 greatest achievement. 00:04:27.10\00:04:28.21 In particular, instead of the universe being the same 00:04:28.24\00:04:31.77 everywhere, which is Big Bang's key assumption, 00:04:31.80\00:04:34.81 they have discovered astronomical proof the universe 00:04:34.84\00:04:38.35 has a nearby center. 00:04:38.38\00:04:40.00 They believe this startling discovery may yet attract 00:04:40.03\00:04:43.83 the interest of people of all religious persuasions, and even 00:04:43.86\00:04:47.11 those who have none, for they believe it points to the Great 00:04:47.14\00:04:50.14 White Throne; the celestial dwelling place 00:04:50.17\00:04:53.23 of the God of Genesis, the same God who gave the literal seven 00:04:53.26\00:04:57.75 day creation commandment to Moses on Mount Sinai. 00:04:57.78\00:05:01.05 With this background Dr's. Robert and David Gentry 00:05:01.08\00:05:04.57 begin to unfold the exciting saga behind their discoveries. 00:05:04.60\00:05:08.59 The excitement really begins by recognizing that the Hubble 00:05:11.00\00:05:14.57 Space Telescope, and other NASA telescopes, have photographed 00:05:14.60\00:05:18.63 some truly amazing celestial objects within our universe. 00:05:18.66\00:05:22.27 This is a very long exposure of our galaxy as seen 00:05:23.33\00:05:26.93 in the night sky. 00:05:26.96\00:05:28.32 We see it here from inside, looking edge on through its disk 00:05:28.35\00:05:32.41 of billions of stars, interlaced with vast clouds of dust and gas 00:05:32.44\00:05:36.93 hundreds of thousands of light years in size. 00:05:36.96\00:05:39.84 And this is a super nova, exhibiting what astronomers have 00:05:39.87\00:05:43.95 called The Glowing Eye. 00:05:43.98\00:05:45.78 Then we have NGC 49's cosmic blast. 00:05:47.90\00:05:51.92 And then the end of planetary nebula's surrounding the dying 00:05:53.77\00:05:58.16 sun-like star Mensal 3. 00:05:58.19\00:06:00.48 Another exploding star caused the Eskimo nebula. 00:06:00.51\00:06:05.00 It's about 5,000 light years from Earth, in the constellation 00:06:05.03\00:06:09.09 Gemini, a complex of mixed nebulosity surrounding the 00:06:09.12\00:06:13.63 triple star Rho Ophiuchus, and the yellow giant Antares. 00:06:13.66\00:06:19.50 And here's the amazing NGC 346 in the small magellatic cloud 00:06:19.53\00:06:24.98 Another exploding star 3,000 light years away in the 00:06:25.01\00:06:28.99 constellation Draco created the Cat's Eye nebula. 00:06:29.02\00:06:32.20 V838 Monocerotis is from a burst of light traveling outward 00:06:32.23\00:06:38.55 and illuminating shelves of gas and dust ejected from the 00:06:38.58\00:06:42.44 central star and has been likened to Van Gough's 00:06:42.47\00:06:45.65 Starry Night. 00:06:45.68\00:06:46.79 And here are the fabulously exotic pillars of creation 00:06:49.16\00:06:52.60 in the Eagle nebula. 00:06:52.63\00:06:54.10 They're actually spires of rarified gas and dust 00:06:54.13\00:06:58.78 hundreds of light-years long. 00:06:58.81\00:07:00.28 And here's a close-up of the beautiful Orion nebula 00:07:01.76\00:07:05.17 that we'll see more of later on. 00:07:05.20\00:07:07.21 These two closely spaced galaxies, nicknamed The Mice, 00:07:07.24\00:07:11.93 are 300,000,000 light-years away in the 00:07:11.96\00:07:14.22 constellation Coma Berenices. 00:07:14.25\00:07:17.37 The variety of shapes, and the sizes of galaxies, 00:07:17.40\00:07:20.87 is unbelievable. 00:07:20.90\00:07:22.29 Take, for example, the Bard Spiral NGC 1300, 00:07:22.32\00:07:26.96 and then the Star Burst Galaxy. 00:07:28.64\00:07:30.62 Here we have Hoag's object strange Ring Galaxy. 00:07:33.84\00:07:37.85 And here is the Antenna Galaxy showing the interaction of two 00:07:40.21\00:07:43.99 spiral galaxies. 00:07:44.02\00:07:45.28 Galaxies are so huge, and their distances so great, 00:07:45.31\00:07:50.24 that we can hardly comprehend their existence. 00:07:50.27\00:07:52.86 The beauty and majesty of all these celestial wonders 00:07:52.89\00:07:56.03 captures the imagination. 00:07:56.06\00:07:57.61 Take a look at the exquisite detail of these astronomically 00:07:58.16\00:08:01.57 huge lanes of gas and dust that form a belt around the 00:08:01.60\00:08:05.56 Sombrero Galaxy. 00:08:05.59\00:08:07.19 Surely all these galaxies are telling us something of 00:08:08.60\00:08:11.83 vast importance. 00:08:11.86\00:08:13.20 To see what it is, we turn to this special Hubble Space 00:08:15.61\00:08:18.49 Telescope photo that took 11 days, or 1 million seconds 00:08:18.52\00:08:21.72 to expose in 2003 as the telescope orbited the Earth. 00:08:21.75\00:08:25.24 It shows several thousand galaxies in a little speck of 00:08:25.27\00:08:28.36 space the size of a pinhead. 00:08:28.39\00:08:29.95 It's aptly named the Hubble Ultra Deep Field, 00:08:29.98\00:08:33.25 because it recorded galaxies more distant than any ever seen 00:08:33.28\00:08:36.53 before, and leads to the estimate that throughout the 00:08:36.56\00:08:39.17 cosmos there are over several hundred billion galaxies, 00:08:39.20\00:08:42.18 each with over 100 billion stars. 00:08:42.21\00:08:44.63 Many small green circles have been now been drawn on this 00:08:44.66\00:08:47.61 image, each one containing the most distant galaxies ever seen, 00:08:47.64\00:08:51.41 but when magnified we see that all of them are red. 00:08:51.44\00:08:54.40 Why? 00:08:54.43\00:08:55.47 We'll focus on this shortly. 00:08:55.50\00:08:57.26 For now we know that these distant galaxies must reach 00:08:57.29\00:09:00.05 almost to the edge of the visible universe. 00:09:00.08\00:09:02.15 And because we see about the same density of galaxies in 00:09:02.18\00:09:05.06 every direction that the telescope is pointed, 00:09:05.09\00:09:06.88 we say this is evidence that our universe does have a center, 00:09:06.91\00:09:10.90 which is astronomically nearby. 00:09:10.93\00:09:12.80 But this is just the opposite of what Hubble and other 00:09:12.83\00:09:15.65 astronomers concluded when interpreting his famous red 00:09:15.68\00:09:18.45 shift discovery. 00:09:18.48\00:09:19.62 So which is correct? 00:09:19.65\00:09:21.02 To find the answer we flash back in time to the early part of the 00:09:22.08\00:09:24.97 20th Century. 00:09:25.00\00:09:25.97 By then astronomers, like Edwin Hubble, knew that the Doppler 00:09:25.98\00:09:29.22 Effect could cause spectral line sifts due to the relative 00:09:29.25\00:09:32.06 motion of the source and observer. 00:09:32.09\00:09:33.87 A shift toward the blue end of the light spectrum, called a 00:09:33.90\00:09:36.96 blue shift, was interpreted as motion toward the Earth. 00:09:36.99\00:09:40.12 A shift toward the red end, called a red shift, 00:09:40.15\00:09:42.99 was interpreted as motion away from the Earth. 00:09:43.02\00:09:45.70 Here's a real astronomical illustration of 00:09:45.73\00:09:48.21 the Doppler Effect. 00:09:48.24\00:09:49.21 The gasses swirling around a distant galactic disk, 00:09:49.22\00:09:52.40 that are moving toward Earth, produce a blue shift. 00:09:52.43\00:09:55.07 Those moving away produce a red shift. 00:09:55.10\00:09:58.03 It was at Mount Wilson Observatory in the 1920's that 00:10:08.93\00:10:12.13 Hubble utilized its new 100 inch Reflector, the largest telescope 00:10:12.16\00:10:15.89 of that day, to discover that light arriving from distant 00:10:15.92\00:10:18.64 galaxies was red shifted in an orderly way. 00:10:18.67\00:10:21.85 In 1929 he published his findings. 00:10:21.88\00:10:24.51 The greater the red shift, the greater the distance a galaxy 00:10:24.54\00:10:27.99 was from the Earth. 00:10:28.02\00:10:29.00 This was a monumental discovery, as shown in this graphic, 00:10:29.03\00:10:32.24 that modern astronomy has confirmed. 00:10:32.27\00:10:34.75 It was also very puzzling. 00:10:34.78\00:10:36.52 Hubble, and other astronomers, had observed red shifts of 00:10:36.55\00:10:39.55 different galaxies, but didn't recognize the systematic trends. 00:10:39.58\00:10:43.02 Previously the universe was thought to be static 00:10:43.05\00:10:45.45 and unchanging. 00:10:45.48\00:10:46.54 Now it was shown to have an unexpected kind of order. 00:10:46.57\00:10:49.81 This animation illustrates how the red shift increases as a 00:10:50.49\00:10:54.03 galaxy moves further and further from the Earth. 00:10:54.06\00:10:56.65 The preeminent question was, and still is, what assumption should 00:10:56.68\00:11:01.58 be used to interpret Hubble's discovery? 00:11:01.61\00:11:04.02 Before discussing Hubble's assumptions, and the conclusions 00:11:08.03\00:11:11.35 he drew, we first determined the outcome if the Doppler 00:11:11.38\00:11:14.57 interpretation is used. 00:11:14.60\00:11:15.86 In that case, these graphics clearly show that galaxies both 00:11:15.89\00:11:19.99 far and near are receding from us, spreading out from us, 00:11:20.02\00:11:23.76 if you please, in an orderly manner. 00:11:23.79\00:11:26.12 The spiracle symmetry of the galactic recession from our 00:11:26.15\00:11:29.91 observation point is, again, extraordinary evidence 00:11:29.94\00:11:32.89 of the existence of a nearby center of the universe. 00:11:32.92\00:11:36.56 Why, then, didn't Hubble report this discovery 00:11:36.59\00:11:39.94 over 75 years ago? 00:11:39.97\00:11:41.72 The answer is in his 1937 book, The Observational Approach 00:11:41.75\00:11:46.42 to Cosmology. 00:11:46.45\00:11:47.57 On page 51 he stated, 00:11:49.78\00:11:56.25 On page 59 he spoke of ways, 00:11:59.01\00:12:02.64 which was also said to be 00:12:04.46\00:12:05.78 and on page 54 he emphasized 00:12:05.81\00:12:08.04 It's really obvious then that Hubble engaged himself 00:12:19.28\00:12:22.47 in the most extraordinary denial of fact in all the 00:12:22.50\00:12:25.57 history of science in his attempt to get rid of the center 00:12:25.60\00:12:28.54 and demand the universe be everywhere the same. 00:12:28.57\00:12:31.79 These three graphics show, however, this could not be 00:12:31.82\00:12:36.30 accomplished using the Doppler assumption. 00:12:36.33\00:12:38.55 If, for example, Observer 1 sees red shifts of galaxies moving 00:12:38.58\00:12:43.62 away from his position, and a distant observer, number 2, 00:12:43.65\00:12:47.51 sees red shifts of galaxies moving away from his position 00:12:47.54\00:12:50.77 then each would observe a universe full of blue shifting 00:12:50.80\00:12:55.31 galaxies mixed in uniformly with red shifted galaxies. 00:12:55.34\00:12:59.72 But this is not observed, so it's impossible to get rid 00:12:59.75\00:13:03.73 of the center using the Doppler interpretation of Hubble's 00:13:03.76\00:13:06.99 red shift discovery. 00:13:07.02\00:13:08.23 So how did Hubble and all of those astronomers since then 00:13:08.26\00:13:13.08 evade it as they did by adopting a new untested assumption about 00:13:13.11\00:13:18.11 a red shift called space time expansion? 00:13:18.14\00:13:21.44 As this illustration shows, space time expansion assumedly 00:13:21.47\00:13:26.72 causes light to be red-shifted as it travels across the 00:13:26.75\00:13:29.54 universe, independent of the Doppler effect. 00:13:29.57\00:13:32.74 It was postulated to cause galaxies to move apart and 00:13:32.77\00:13:36.53 wavelengths of light to expand as space itself expanded. 00:13:36.56\00:13:40.49 This idea was adopted over 70 years ago, but remained untested 00:13:40.52\00:13:45.92 until David and I did so and found proof it has always 00:13:45.95\00:13:49.69 been wrong. 00:13:49.72\00:13:50.82 The reason? 00:13:50.85\00:13:51.82 Light wavelength expansion means the loss of energy. 00:13:51.83\00:13:54.67 The total nonconservation of energy loss of all the light 00:13:54.70\00:13:58.22 particles in the universe, due to this imaginary process, 00:13:58.25\00:14:01.52 equals over 30 million times the mass of the universe. 00:14:01.55\00:14:05.20 Details of this are available on the internet report 00:14:05.23\00:14:08.18 Galaxy motion is also assumed to be magically affected somehow, 00:14:18.14\00:14:23.59 causing each galaxy to move away from every other galaxy, 00:14:23.62\00:14:27.31 as space itself expands, and in this way make it appear 00:14:27.34\00:14:31.53 the universe is everywhere the same. 00:14:31.56\00:14:34.09 But it's easy to show it's the greatest scientific blunder 00:14:34.12\00:14:38.31 of all time. 00:14:38.34\00:14:39.65 All we have to do is examine what three of the greatest 00:14:39.68\00:14:43.14 authorities on the big-bang say when trying to convince their 00:14:43.17\00:14:47.22 physics graduate students that it is genuine. 00:14:47.25\00:14:50.61 Here is the balloon double speak illustration that Misner, 00:16:24.95\00:16:29.17 Thorne, and Wheeler's book uses to intimidate their graduate 00:16:29.20\00:16:32.59 students to accept expansion. 00:16:32.62\00:16:34.53 But the simple example of galaxies projected on screens 00:16:34.56\00:16:39.46 at increasing distances from a projector reveals the fatal flaw 00:16:39.49\00:16:44.17 in their illustration. 00:16:44.20\00:16:45.54 They show that expansion, if it ever existed, 00:16:45.57\00:16:49.87 would cause galaxies to expand in size as well as separate 00:16:49.90\00:16:54.84 from each other. 00:16:54.87\00:16:55.84 Here's another illustration proving the same point, namely 00:16:55.85\00:17:01.15 if expansion had ever existed galaxies would have expanded 00:17:01.18\00:17:05.53 into smithereens. 00:17:05.56\00:17:07.09 Obviously no galaxies would ever have formed in the first place. 00:17:07.12\00:17:12.03 But as we saw earlier, the universe is full of them, 00:17:12.06\00:17:15.99 more than a thousand, billion, trillion, each one silently 00:17:16.02\00:17:20.42 testifying that the space-time expansion hypothesis 00:17:20.45\00:17:23.26 has always been an imaginary effect, and hence that big-bang 00:17:23.29\00:17:27.70 has always been nothing more than a big fizzle, 00:17:27.73\00:17:30.01 just a figment of the imagination of those who vainly 00:17:30.04\00:17:33.08 tried to wipe the remembrance of God from His universe. 00:17:33.11\00:17:36.73 While the big-bang collapse is under it's own contradictions, 00:17:36.76\00:17:40.33 we now begin to understand the true significance 00:17:40.36\00:17:43.29 of Hubble's discovery. 00:17:43.32\00:17:44.29 There really is a nearby center of the universe, and this cosmic 00:17:44.30\00:17:49.00 center of the universe illustration shows how galaxies 00:17:49.03\00:17:51.79 diminish in size, and increase in red-shift as they move 00:17:51.82\00:17:56.42 further from the center. 00:17:56.95\00:17:57.92 So what is the significance of the center? 00:17:57.93\00:18:01.06 What does it all mean? 00:18:01.09\00:18:02.86 In Isaiah 40:21 the Bible speaks of God spreading out the 00:18:02.89\00:18:08.81 heavens, an obvious reference to the expansion of the universe 00:18:08.84\00:18:12.26 we've been discussing. 00:18:12.29\00:18:13.52 Also obvious is that their outward motion, 00:18:13.55\00:18:16.31 their spreading out, implies there is a point of origin, 00:18:16.34\00:18:20.10 a definite location from which they are spreading out from. 00:18:20.13\00:18:23.49 Which point could that be? 00:18:23.52\00:18:25.50 In Psalm 103:19 the Bible says, "Thy throne, Oh Lord, 00:18:25.53\00:18:31.68 is established in the heavens," which we also identify with the 00:18:31.71\00:18:36.20 location unto the Great White Throne described in Rev. 20:11. 00:18:36.23\00:18:40.21 It's just that simple. 00:18:40.24\00:18:42.10 In fact, this graphic briefly illustrates the new 00:18:42.13\00:18:45.79 cosmic model. 00:18:45.82\00:18:46.82 In contrast, visible galaxies receding from the nearby center 00:18:46.85\00:18:51.59 with our recently discovered outer shell of galaxies 00:18:51.62\00:18:55.31 that encloses the visible universe. 00:18:55.34\00:18:58.26 Light from the outer galaxies cannot be seen by telescopes 00:18:58.29\00:19:01.89 because vacuum gravity has shifted it down to become 00:19:01.92\00:19:05.50 the well-known cosmic microwave radiation. 00:19:05.53\00:19:09.27 My December 2004 article in Perspectives and Science and 00:19:09.30\00:19:13.80 Christian Faith identifies the galaxies in the visible universe 00:19:13.83\00:19:17.79 as originating in the Genesis creation, while those in the 00:19:17.82\00:19:22.11 outer shell are ascribed to a separate earlier creation. 00:19:22.14\00:19:25.79 This fits with Job 38:7 which shows that intelligent beings 00:19:25.82\00:19:30.92 existed prior to the Genesis creation. 00:19:30.95\00:19:33.67 With this background we will now see why the nearby throne has 00:19:33.70\00:19:38.66 special relevance to the Genesis six day creation. 00:19:38.69\00:19:42.84 To us the logical conclusion is that God deliberately created 00:19:42.87\00:19:47.92 the universe so as to reveal that His throne, the great 00:19:47.95\00:19:52.38 command center of the universe, is located so astronomically 00:19:52.41\00:19:56.14 nearby that it could be within our own Milky Way Galaxy. 00:19:56.17\00:19:59.86 On this basis, we here on planet Earth are definitely in a 00:19:59.89\00:20:05.31 privileged position in the universe. 00:20:05.34\00:20:07.04 It is reasonable that Earth should occupy a special place 00:20:07.07\00:20:10.96 in the cosmos because the Creator Himself lived here for 00:20:10.99\00:20:15.08 over 30 years. 00:20:15.11\00:20:16.59 We thus believe God is now using the heavens to confront humanity 00:20:16.62\00:20:22.25 with astronomical proof that He is the Creator of the heavens 00:20:22.28\00:20:26.41 and the Earth. 00:20:26.44\00:20:27.64 Moreover, this view exactly fits with our earlier scientific 00:20:27.67\00:20:31.25 discoveries of Earth's rapid creation and young age, as shown 00:20:31.28\00:20:36.25 on our earlier videos, titled Fingerprints of Creation, 00:20:36.28\00:20:40.19 and The Young Age of the Earth, and my book, 00:20:40.22\00:20:44.38 Creation's Tiny Mystery. 00:20:44.41\00:20:46.47 More information on these resources is available at: 00:20:46.50\00:20:50.38 The scientific community was informed of the downfall 00:20:55.81\00:21:00.29 of the big-bang, the discovery of the center of the universe, 00:21:00.32\00:21:03.41 and its identification with The Great White Throne, 00:21:03.44\00:21:06.39 plus many other features of the universe in this poster we 00:21:06.42\00:21:09.70 presented at the April 2005 American Physical Society 00:21:09.73\00:21:14.07 meeting in Tampa. 00:21:14.10\00:21:15.59 We have already discussed the meaning of a number 00:21:15.62\00:21:18.11 of its graphics. 00:21:18.14\00:21:19.11 It can be viewed in its entirety at this APS website: 00:21:19.12\00:21:22.47 Along with this, it's fascinating to think about what 00:21:27.51\00:21:30.73 we would find if we were to travel to the throne itself. 00:21:30.76\00:21:33.71 So let's take a trip there right now through the magic 00:21:33.74\00:21:37.17 of computer animation, and as we prepare to leave Earth's orbit 00:21:37.20\00:21:41.85 We see the night sky coming into view with its millions of city 00:21:41.88\00:21:45.94 lights far below. 00:21:45.97\00:21:47.11 The sun blazes into view, along with the constellation of Orion, 00:21:47.14\00:21:53.10 and we begin to accelerate, passing our sun at ten times 00:21:53.13\00:21:57.49 the speed of light. 00:21:57.52\00:21:59.34 Years ago I suggested, in a scientific publication, 00:21:59.37\00:22:02.33 that the Orion nebula was the space corridor to the throne. 00:22:02.36\00:22:06.85 And now as we approach the stars making up the constellation, 00:22:06.88\00:22:10.45 each one a different distance from Earth, we're going over 00:22:10.48\00:22:14.67 one million times the speed of light. 00:22:14.70\00:22:19.66 As the stars of Orion pass behind us, the Orion nebula, 00:22:19.69\00:22:24.57 fifteen hundred light years away from Earth, looms larger and 00:22:24.60\00:22:28.52 larger as we begin our deceleration, this nebula is a 00:22:28.55\00:22:32.59 a vast cloud of rarified gasses and dust 00:22:32.62\00:22:35.71 one hundred light years across. 00:22:35.74\00:22:38.28 It is illuminated, and being boiled away, by this handful 00:22:38.31\00:22:43.49 of very bright, and very hot, blue-white giant stars 00:22:43.52\00:22:47.42 called the trapezium. 00:22:47.45\00:22:49.68 Hundreds of smaller, sun-like, stars form a cluster 00:22:49.71\00:22:53.64 around them. 00:22:53.67\00:22:58.65 As we pass through the cloud, and emerge on the other side, 00:22:58.68\00:23:02.23 we see heaven itself, and the throne of God, described 00:23:02.26\00:23:06.61 in Revelation 21:16 as being a glorious city 350 miles square. 00:23:06.64\00:23:13.05 Verses 19 and 20 tell us its foundation is made of 12 layers 00:23:13.08\00:23:18.18 of precious gemstones, and surrounded by a 250 foot high 00:23:18.21\00:23:22.66 wall containing 12 gates, 3 on each side. 00:23:22.69\00:23:26.91 As we enter through one of the huge pearl gates described in 00:23:26.94\00:23:30.84 verse 21, we see within the city, on top of its huge 00:23:30.87\00:23:35.05 mountain, spoken of in Isaiah 14:13 and Revelation 14:1, 00:23:35.08\00:23:39.98 the indescribably glorious and holy throne room of God pictured 00:23:40.01\00:23:44.09 in Revelation 4. 00:23:44.12\00:23:45.42 We reverently enter and approach closer to His throne, 00:23:45.45\00:23:50.18 and there before us, according to Hebrews 8:1-6 00:23:50.21\00:23:54.67 and Revelation 11:19, is the same fourth commandment 00:23:54.70\00:23:58.79 of the ten given to Moses on Mount Sinai, which tells us of 00:23:58.82\00:24:02.92 God creating the visible universe in six days, 00:24:02.95\00:24:06.29 and resting on the seventh-day Sabbath. 00:24:06.32\00:24:08.57 Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:18 that it has never been changed, 00:24:08.60\00:24:14.94 and that He is there now representing us before God. 00:24:14.97\00:24:27.30 The fact that God created the universe to especially point to 00:24:27.33\00:24:30.84 His throne, and His seventh-day creation commandment, tells us 00:24:30.87\00:24:35.23 it is just as valid now as when given in Eden. 00:24:35.26\00:24:38.76 It will be of spectacular importance as the end time 00:24:38.79\00:24:41.97 events continue to unfold before us. 00:24:42.00\00:24:44.33 How could it be otherwise when we see the first angel of the 00:24:44.36\00:24:48.56 three in Revelation 14 commanding, with a loud voice, 00:24:48.59\00:24:52.29 in verses 6 and 7, for everyone to worship Him that made heaven 00:24:52.32\00:24:56.81 and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters? 00:24:56.84\00:25:00.50 We believe the timing of this discovery, that the universe 00:25:00.53\00:25:03.76 really does have a nearby center, may mean God arranged 00:25:03.79\00:25:07.38 all this to come to world attention before the greatest 00:25:07.41\00:25:10.66 and most spectacular event of all time, the second coming 00:25:10.69\00:25:14.70 of Christ in the clouds of heaven. 00:25:14.73\00:25:18.88 As you can see, He is at the throne ministering as our great 00:25:18.91\00:25:22.22 high priest, as described in the book of Hebrews, but very soon 00:25:22.25\00:25:26.04 He will return. 00:25:26.07\00:25:27.15 Retracing our steps now, Jesus comes out of the Most Holy Place 00:25:27.18\00:25:56.27 The angels surround Him forming a vast cloud like the one 00:25:56.30\00:25:59.73 described in Acts 1 verse 9 that the disciples saw when Jesus was 00:25:59.76\00:26:03.37 was taken back to His throne at His ascension from earth 00:26:03.40\00:26:06.40 2,000 years ago. 00:26:06.43\00:26:18.97 And just like Revelation 1:7 says, as He enters the solar 00:26:19.00\00:26:22.86 system, every person on earth will be able to see Him 00:26:22.89\00:26:25.75 approach, at first like a dark storm cloud growing larger 00:26:25.78\00:26:29.67 and brighter until, according to Revelation 6:14, the atmosphere 00:26:29.70\00:26:34.87 rips apart, and suddenly there He is! 00:26:34.90\00:26:37.81 His brightness, like pure energy, consumes all who turned 00:26:37.84\00:26:41.35 against Him and rebelled. 00:26:41.38\00:26:42.54 Yet we who are waiting for Him, will He save 00:26:42.57\00:26:45.81 from that destruction. 00:26:45.84\00:26:51.94 That's what it's all about! 00:26:51.97\00:26:53.33 The Lord is trying to help us prepare for this great and 00:26:53.36\00:26:56.22 glorious event. 00:26:56.25\00:26:57.28 Lastly believing, as we do, that God intends to use the great 00:27:03.80\00:27:09.05 works of creation presented in this program, as well as the 00:27:09.08\00:27:12.62 saga behind these discoveries, to awaken a great many to a sure 00:27:12.65\00:27:16.62 realization that Christ's second coming is imminent, 00:27:16.65\00:27:20.03 we urge one and all to join us in a world-wide effort to spread 00:27:20.06\00:27:25.43 this good news so that it will go as fire in the stubble. 00:27:25.46\00:27:29.10 Thank you for watching, and may the God of creation bless you. 00:27:29.13\00:27:33.76
