Chapter 15, verses 1 and 2.

We looked at this yesterday,
and we're looking at it again.

We see this marvelous
scene in heaven. For it says:

And we talked
about that. And it said:

And we saw through the
message yesterday, last evening,

that these individuals who are
standing on the sea of glass,
00:12:03.00\00:12:07.16
standing before God, standing
there as victors, singing a song
00:12:07.19\00:12:11.42
that angels could not sing,
are individuals that not only
00:12:11.45\00:12:15.61
receive the victory over
the beast, his image, his mark,
00:12:15.64\00:12:18.83
and the number of his name, but
they had to deal with personal
00:12:18.86\00:12:22.23
sin in their lives to
get victory over these things
00:12:22.26\00:12:25.71
that will come to us as a group.

We also saw last night
that there was something else

us living in these last days
have to deal with, and that is

being born, and being here in
the dispensation of the seventh

church, Laodicea. And we
saw, if you would turn with me

to Revelation 3, we saw that
the church, the seventh church,
00:12:43.84\00:12:49.00
Laodicea, had
some real problems.
00:12:49.03\00:12:52.69
Jesus said in chapter 3, of
verse 14, And unto the angel
00:12:52.72\00:12:57.55
of the church of the Laodicea's
write; These things saith the
00:12:57.58\00:13:00.78
Amen, the faithful and true
witness, the beginning of the
00:13:00.81\00:13:04.10
creation of God; I know thy
works, that thou art neither
00:13:04.13\00:13:07.23
cold nor hot: I would
thou wert cold or hot.
00:13:07.26\00:13:10.13
So then because thou art
lukewarm, and neither cold
00:13:10.16\00:13:12.90
nor hot, I will spew
thee out of my mouth.

And He went on to say in
verse 17, Because thou sayest,

But then we had hope last
night, ladies and gentlemen, I

for we saw that Jesus not only
tells us what's wrong with us,

He shows us what we
need to do for the cure.

And in verse 18 He
says, I counsel thee to buy...

Then the promise in chapter 3,
verse 21, To him that overcometh

will I grant to sit
with me in my throne,

even as I also
overcame, and am set down
00:14:26.06\00:14:30.48
with my Father in his throne.
00:14:30.51\00:14:33.56
The reward of the overcomer.

Tonight we see the same scene,
chapter 15, verse 1, verses 2,
00:14:36.70\00:14:46.69
and 3. But we also see, in
chapter 14, victorious saints of
00:14:46.72\00:14:53.81
God, Revelation 14:1 says:

In other words, ladies and
gentlemen, John sees this group,

this 144,000, and folks, don't
get excited about that number.

Don't stress about that number!

Jesus doesn't go into detail
about it, and we know the book

of Revelation is also
literal, and symbolic.

When we look at this number,
it's just showing us that in the

last days there will be a
specific amount of people,
00:16:01.08\00:16:04.38
not necessarily a 144,000 only
standing on the sea of glass,

because when we go to chapter 7,
go to chapter 7 of the book of
00:16:11.77\00:16:16.11
Revelation, after they
speak about the 144,000 there,
00:16:16.14\00:16:20.02
it says in verse
9... Now turn to it.

Find peace in your
soul. Verse 9 says:
00:16:23.01\00:16:27.68
In other words, they
were victorious, too. Amen!

So we don't have to worry
about being in that number.

I've always said that I do not

through the gate, as long as I

What I'm trying to say
to us, ladies and gentlemen,

is that by the mercy of God, and
by the power of His Holy Spirit,

we read throughout the
scriptures, in the book of

Revelation, and we see
individuals who will be

victorious. I've said this
to you before, and I will say it

again, you must have the faith
to believe that Jesus loves you,
00:17:28.70\00:17:34.10
He has saved you, He is
working out our salvation in us,
00:17:34.13\00:17:40.01
day by day. We can't quit.

We must endure,
we must go forward,
00:17:42.91\00:17:45.58
every single
day in Christ Jesus.

If you fall, ladies and
gentlemen, you must get up.

you can't get up, at least crawl

with all of the things we hear
about Laodicea, and, you know,

sometimes we get nervous, and we
think Laodicea, it's a bad word.

It's not a bad word, it's just
the condition of the church,
00:18:39.30\00:18:42.56
but we saw that there
is a cure for the church.

Jesus has a cure
for everything. Amen!

We need to understand, as a
people, that God looks at us

with a special look
of love, and He has great

expectations for us.

If you would turn to 1 Peter
2, 1 Peter 2, I would dare go on

record and say that
these individuals who we see

in Revelation 15,
and in Revelation 14,

and in Revelation chapter
7, victorious individuals

who receive the victory over
personal sin in their lives.

Individuals who
have gotten the victory
00:19:29.30\00:19:31.82
over the last day crisis.
00:19:31.85\00:19:33.71
Individuals who
have taken the test,
00:19:33.74\00:19:36.92
and the reform
movement of Revelation 3.
00:19:36.95\00:19:40.54
They have allowed it
to work on their heart.

They have opened that
door so Christ can come in.

They are individuals who Jesus
is talking about in 1 Peter 2:9.

He says:

Friends to be alive
in these days in time,

I don't know if you'd
really understand the magnitude

of being alive in
these days and times.

To be alive in these days
and times, in the last days of

Earth's history, when the Bible
tells us these are perilous

times; where the Bible
tells us that many shall depart

from the faith, giving
heed to seducing spirits,

and doctrines of devils.

These times when
nature is in convulsion.

These times when nations, and
wars, and all of these upheavals

in the political scheme of
things, they are so precarious.

We are living
in dangerous times.

But to be alive in these times,
when the gospel of Jesus Christ

must go to all the
world, and to be a part of that,

we are a chosen
generation. Amen!

I continue to read. It says:

In other words, we
weren't always perfect,

and we're still not perfect, but
we're leaning on the everlasting

everlasting arms of Jesus. Amen!

And friends at home, that
allows us to be perfect. Amen!

For when the Father looks at
us, because we're hid in Jesus,

In other words, because
of the blood of Jesus Christ,

the Holy Spirit, we have become

partakers of the
divine nature that is working

on us every single day.

Now folks let me
just say this to you,

sanctification is
the work of a lifetime.

And guess what? We will never
attain full sanctification until

Jesus translates us, or
resurrects us on the great

We will continue to grow.

There will always be
something in our character

that we can have perfected.

The closer we get to Christ,
and see Him in His majesty,

in His righteousness, it
will show the defects in our

character that we
must give to Him that we

that point where we say,

at Laodicea, before she takes

the cure, we find ourselves
as a people not transformed,

but still like we are,
but with a modified behavior.

We have more
religion than spirituality,

and that's dangerous,
because, ladies and gentlemen,

we find ourselves
increased with goods,

and say we have need of nothing.

And we find
ourselves as self-righteous,

and self-sufficient, sometimes
egotistical, judgmental,

critical. No one can do
anything right except us. Amen!

We find ourselves unforgiving.

And folks that's one thing
we must learn to do as a people,

people of God. We have to
forgive those who have done
