Chronic pain, that's what we are talking about right now 00:00:01.06\00:00:04.01 and Dr. Marcum has made sure that we understand 00:00:04.04\00:00:07.07 that chronic pain is anything 00:00:07.10\00:00:08.71 that continues for over 6 months. 00:00:08.74\00:00:11.27 And when we have this problem, 00:00:11.30\00:00:13.70 we should not simply run to the doctor and say, 00:00:13.73\00:00:15.59 hey, give me a pill so I can deal with this, 00:00:15.62\00:00:18.04 because chronic pain really is an indication 00:00:18.07\00:00:20.46 that something is wrong. Yeah. 00:00:20.49\00:00:21.76 And we don't want to mask that all the time 00:00:21.79\00:00:24.05 because we may want to find the problem. 00:00:24.08\00:00:26.64 And we go searching for the problem 00:00:26.67\00:00:27.95 and a lot of times the answer is not what we think it is. 00:00:27.98\00:00:31.11 It can move around a little bit. 00:00:31.14\00:00:32.24 You know, and this is a very serious subject here. 00:00:32.27\00:00:35.25 So, you know, this is a big pain pill here. 00:00:35.28\00:00:37.73 And, you know, I'm having some pain in my foot. 00:00:37.76\00:00:40.94 You'll need two. 00:00:40.97\00:00:42.00 And I don't think I want to put these two big pain pills on me, 00:00:42.03\00:00:45.76 but I would like you to tell me a joke 00:00:45.79\00:00:47.78 so that can make some endorphins or you can just make me laugh 00:00:47.81\00:00:50.54 if you don't have a joke. 00:00:50.57\00:00:51.60 I hate to put you on the spot. Okay, I will. 00:00:51.63\00:00:53.79 Did you hear about the man that stayed up all night 00:00:53.82\00:00:55.82 trying to figure out where the sun went? 00:00:55.85\00:00:57.95 The man that stayed up all night-- 00:00:57.98\00:00:59.81 Trying to figure out where the sun went. 00:00:59.84\00:01:00.87 Where the sun went. Yeah. 00:01:00.90\00:01:01.93 I didn't hear about that one. Finally it dawned on him. 00:01:01.96\00:01:04.13 Oh, dawned. That's a good one. That's as good as-- 00:01:04.16\00:01:07.23 that's as good as the story about the sidewalk. 00:01:07.26\00:01:10.53 The sidewalk. Yes, it's all over town, that joke, yes. 00:01:10.56\00:01:13.93 But we better stop on that. How is your pain? 00:01:13.96\00:01:17.74 It's feeling a little bit better. 00:01:17.77\00:01:18.95 But, you know, we have a lot of people 00:01:18.98\00:01:20.80 that go to our website and that's how 00:01:20.83\00:01:22.53 we make our program, because after we get 00:01:22.56\00:01:24.90 so many people that ask questions 00:01:24.93\00:01:26.43 we know we need to talk about it. 00:01:26.46\00:01:28.05 Not that we always have all the answers, 00:01:28.08\00:01:30.22 but you know what we can do, we can talk about it, 00:01:30.25\00:01:32.64 we can pray about it, we can look in the Scriptures about it 00:01:32.67\00:01:35.79 and we can try the best 00:01:35.82\00:01:36.93 we can to point people in the right direction. 00:01:36.96\00:01:38.82 That's exactly right and that's the beauty of this program 00:01:38.85\00:01:41.13 and the website is, you know, 00:01:41.16\00:01:42.77 the answer is there but you are unique. 00:01:42.80\00:01:46.13 You are different from anybody else. 00:01:46.16\00:01:48.13 Your solution, your formula begins 00:01:48.16\00:01:50.13 with the word "me," "you." 00:01:50.16\00:01:52.33 You have to figure out what's right for you. 00:01:52.36\00:01:54.18 And so the information that we give you 00:01:54.21\00:01:56.65 should be able to send you in the right direction. 00:01:56.68\00:01:59.00 That's the whole idea here. 00:01:59.03\00:02:00.78 And this first question I think is probably 00:02:00.81\00:02:03.76 big in the mind of a lot of people 00:02:03.79\00:02:04.99 and you've talked about it a little bit. 00:02:05.02\00:02:06.78 Is there a role for medications, for drugs? 00:02:06.81\00:02:11.87 Yes, absolutely, emphatically yes. 00:02:11.90\00:02:14.71 Where do we use it? Where do we use it? 00:02:14.74\00:02:15.80 Let me give you some examples of chronic pain. 00:02:15.83\00:02:18.80 I've had some people that have had malignancies, 00:02:18.83\00:02:22.09 brain cancer, incurable, okay. 00:02:22.12\00:02:26.05 Those people are under, unfortunately, lots of pain. 00:02:26.08\00:02:29.14 Not only do they need other modalities to help them 00:02:29.17\00:02:32.33 that we've talked about, but they also need 00:02:32.36\00:02:34.72 chronic pain medications, okay. 00:02:34.75\00:02:37.14 So that would be once and I would give them 00:02:37.17\00:02:39.15 narcotics if they needed it. 00:02:39.18\00:02:41.05 I would give them anti inflammatories 00:02:41.08\00:02:42.93 if they needed it. 00:02:42.96\00:02:43.99 I would give them acetaminophen if they needed it. 00:02:44.02\00:02:46.00 If the pain is so bad that they can't do 00:02:46.03\00:02:48.28 the search we are talking about. Yes. 00:02:48.31\00:02:50.17 If they can't get out of bed, if they can't function. 00:02:50.20\00:02:52.63 And sometimes the pain is so bad, 00:02:52.66\00:02:54.40 we've made the diagnosis. 00:02:54.43\00:02:55.82 We know that there is nothing more to be done 00:02:55.85\00:02:58.14 and they still can't live because just think about it, 00:02:58.17\00:03:00.63 pain is not good, okay. That's right. 00:03:00.66\00:03:04.04 Pain creates the stress cascade which is bad. 00:03:04.07\00:03:07.80 We've already talked about how the inflammatory markers. 00:03:07.83\00:03:09.80 It makes adrenaline which raises 00:03:09.83\00:03:11.44 the chance of heart attack, raises your blood pressure. 00:03:11.47\00:03:13.94 It makes Cortisol. 00:03:13.97\00:03:15.74 Pain in itself long term is not good. 00:03:15.77\00:03:17.99 So you always have to balance, which is worse, 00:03:18.02\00:03:20.12 the pain or the treatment? 00:03:20.15\00:03:22.66 So in some situations where nothing can be done with pain, 00:03:22.69\00:03:25.58 pancreatitis, now that usually is not chronic pain, 00:03:25.61\00:03:27.93 but that's acute pain where the body is 00:03:27.96\00:03:29.94 actually digesting itself. 00:03:29.97\00:03:31.91 But there are some situations, especially in cancer, 00:03:31.94\00:03:34.84 where there is nothing that can be done 00:03:34.87\00:03:36.51 and there's organs and nerves being involved. 00:03:36.54\00:03:39.12 A lot of times in back pain, I see some people 00:03:39.15\00:03:41.70 that undergo back surgery and that's something 00:03:41.73\00:03:43.75 we need to talk about for a second, Charles. 00:03:43.78\00:03:45.91 That back surgery, everyone makes it seems like, 00:03:45.94\00:03:47.78 oh, I'm going to have back surgery. 00:03:47.81\00:03:49.13 I'm going to be healed completely. 00:03:49.16\00:03:50.99 Well, people don't realize that if you really 00:03:51.02\00:03:52.85 look at the statistics, only about 00:03:52.88\00:03:54.36 half a people get relief. 00:03:54.39\00:03:56.92 And sometimes those things are making things worse. 00:03:56.95\00:03:59.52 And if you have a bunch of nerves 00:03:59.55\00:04:00.78 at your spinal cord at that are compressed, 00:04:00.81\00:04:02.93 that are scarred, you could be in chronic pain for that. 00:04:02.96\00:04:05.76 And you have to say if there is nothing else 00:04:05.79\00:04:07.28 that can be done, sometimes they can use 00:04:07.31\00:04:08.49 physical therapy, chiropractic, TENS units, you know, 00:04:08.52\00:04:11.91 that's where they interrupt the pain pathways. 00:04:11.94\00:04:14.54 Sometimes they can use epidurals that will numb it. 00:04:14.57\00:04:17.27 But sometimes nothing else can be done. 00:04:17.30\00:04:19.01 In that case narcotics might be used. 00:04:19.04\00:04:22.24 Now sometimes we need to do hierarchy of pain, okay. 00:04:22.27\00:04:26.10 And sometimes people don't need the big guns 00:04:26.13\00:04:28.31 which are the narcotics that are addictive. 00:04:28.34\00:04:29.80 Because we don't want anybody to feel bad. 00:04:29.83\00:04:31.20 If they are taking pain medications 00:04:31.23\00:04:32.87 and they have been doing it for years, 00:04:32.90\00:04:34.37 well, that may be what you have to do. 00:04:34.40\00:04:36.02 And thank God that there are pain medications 00:04:36.05\00:04:38.57 you can take to help you through the day. 00:04:38.60\00:04:40.33 So we want make sure we understand that. 00:04:40.36\00:04:42.11 For instance, my ankle has been bothering me. 00:04:42.14\00:04:44.26 Now this is not chronic pain, but, you know, 00:04:44.29\00:04:46.08 I might take a little, you know, some Tylenol or, 00:04:46.11\00:04:49.50 you know, that's a weak pain medicine. 00:04:49.53\00:04:50.91 I won't take a lot of it but I might take some. 00:04:50.94\00:04:52.76 That's a good pain medicine. To keep you functioning. 00:04:52.79\00:04:55.07 Yes, to keep me functioning until I can allow it 00:04:55.10\00:04:57.13 to heal on its own and rest it. 00:04:57.16\00:04:58.91 Sometimes an anti inflammatory like Motrin, 00:04:58.94\00:05:02.15 sometimes your natural anti inflammatories. 00:05:02.18\00:05:05.27 One natural anti inflammatory is water. 00:05:05.30\00:05:07.80 Another one is those almonds that we have down below. 00:05:07.83\00:05:11.05 We could eat a cup of almonds. 00:05:11.08\00:05:12.16 That's natural anti inflammatory. 00:05:12.19\00:05:13.48 Exercise can help treat chronic pain 00:05:13.51\00:05:15.66 because it makes endorphins go up. 00:05:15.69\00:05:18.11 So laughter, music, that can all treat it. 00:05:18.14\00:05:20.73 But sometimes no matter what you do, 00:05:20.76\00:05:22.94 you cannot control the pain 00:05:22.97\00:05:24.42 and there is a cause you can't get rid of. 00:05:24.45\00:05:26.34 In that case, the risk of the pain 00:05:26.37\00:05:28.73 is greater than the risk of the medicine. 00:05:28.76\00:05:30.70 And in that case you say I want to use 00:05:30.73\00:05:32.38 this little narcotic as I can and use everything else 00:05:32.41\00:05:35.84 so you don't have to take gobs of narcotics 00:05:35.87\00:05:37.82 and take the risk of that. 00:05:37.85\00:05:39.12 So you might be taking the narcotic 00:05:39.15\00:05:40.85 and having hydrotherapy and you might be 00:05:40.88\00:05:43.03 having some music therapy and endorphin therapy 00:05:43.06\00:05:45.26 and anti inflammatory and diet just to control the bad pains 00:05:45.29\00:05:49.01 so that the risk of the pain with the adrenaline 00:05:49.04\00:05:51.29 and all that is not overcoming your body. 00:05:51.32\00:05:55.02 And so it's really about a balance. 00:05:55.05\00:05:57.06 And we know of pain that comes from surgery, 00:05:57.09\00:06:01.32 pain that comes from an injury, 00:06:01.35\00:06:02.78 pain that comes from a disease. 00:06:02.81\00:06:05.27 Sometimes people have pain and they are not sure exactly 00:06:05.30\00:06:09.24 where it's coming from at all. 00:06:09.27\00:06:10.52 It doesn't make sense to have this kind of pain 00:06:10.55\00:06:13.38 and this is a question 00:06:13.41\00:06:14.68 that came into heartwiseminsitries.org. 00:06:14.71\00:06:16.50 What are some overlooked causes of pain 00:06:16.53\00:06:19.64 that we should know about, Dr. Marcum? Yeah. 00:06:19.67\00:06:22.53 One of the big ones is medications, okay. 00:06:22.56\00:06:25.15 Medications can cause pain, okay. 00:06:25.18\00:06:27.67 It can affect, especially, 00:06:27.70\00:06:28.92 remember I talked about the muscles, myositis. 00:06:28.95\00:06:31.53 Muscles can hurt your muscles. 00:06:31.56\00:06:33.28 The ones I use the most are the ones called the statins. 00:06:33.31\00:06:36.06 That can often cause pain in the body. 00:06:36.09\00:06:37.95 That you prescribe. Yes, I prescribe that a lot. 00:06:37.98\00:06:40.56 Dehydration can be a cause of chronic pain. 00:06:40.59\00:06:43.24 This is a huge one, especially with people with arthritis. 00:06:43.27\00:06:45.23 Dehydration can cause, arthritis get worst. 00:06:45.26\00:06:47.68 Your muscles are made of predominantly water. 00:06:47.71\00:06:50.16 If you don't do that, the muscles can get tight. 00:06:50.19\00:06:52.36 Now here is one that sometimes 00:06:52.39\00:06:54.04 people might not think of is stress. 00:06:54.07\00:06:56.55 Stress can cause chronic pain. Mental stress? 00:06:56.58\00:06:59.65 Mental stress, physical stress as well, you make 00:06:59.68\00:07:02.08 adrenaline, epinephrine. 00:07:02.11\00:07:04.17 If you are dehydrated, the muscles get tight. 00:07:04.20\00:07:06.60 You get, you know, the stress headaches 00:07:06.63\00:07:08.32 that people have heard about. 00:07:08.35\00:07:09.61 You get muscle pains. 00:07:09.64\00:07:10.85 You see these athletes occasionally 00:07:10.88\00:07:12.42 get cramps in the back, you know, 00:07:12.45\00:07:13.78 because they are dehydrated and have a lot of stress. 00:07:13.81\00:07:16.55 Stress can cause ulcers and gastritis. 00:07:16.58\00:07:19.21 It can cause situations like irritable bowel syndrome. 00:07:19.24\00:07:22.84 It can make joint pains more active. 00:07:22.87\00:07:25.25 So stress is a sort of a hidden contributor to chronic pain. 00:07:25.28\00:07:28.99 Now other thing that can cause it is immune problems. 00:07:29.02\00:07:31.95 A lot of people have immune reactions in their body. 00:07:31.98\00:07:34.79 And when you get a foreign object 00:07:34.82\00:07:36.56 that comes your way, 00:07:36.59\00:07:37.90 whether it be a foreign substance that you take in, 00:07:37.93\00:07:41.44 whether it becomes a toxic ingestion, 00:07:41.47\00:07:43.63 whether it becomes an allergen, 00:07:43.66\00:07:45.29 your body can literally attack it. 00:07:45.32\00:07:47.44 And when it attacks it, it causes this immune reaction 00:07:47.47\00:07:50.45 that goes throughout the entire body. 00:07:50.48\00:07:52.32 This inflammation that goes on can cause muscles to hurt. 00:07:52.35\00:07:55.70 A lot of people think conditions like fibromyalgia, 00:07:55.73\00:07:59.59 irritable bowel syndrome, some of these other conditions, 00:07:59.62\00:08:02.70 are caused by the body literally attacking itself. 00:08:02.73\00:08:06.25 So those are just the three or four are the ones 00:08:06.28\00:08:08.36 that people might, you know, add to the list 00:08:08.39\00:08:11.56 if they are having pain that's undiagnosed. 00:08:11.59\00:08:13.99 Now depression can similarly cause chronic pain. 00:08:14.02\00:08:18.41 I think it's really we need to have 00:08:18.44\00:08:20.86 a different mindset when it comes to ourselves 00:08:20.89\00:08:24.19 and our diseases and our chronic situations 00:08:24.22\00:08:27.04 and especially our pain. 00:08:27.07\00:08:29.03 We really need to ask that question why. 00:08:29.06\00:08:31.56 We did a show recently on the philosophy of health 00:08:31.59\00:08:35.63 that Heart-wise ministries has and that philosophy 00:08:35.66\00:08:38.28 is always ask why. 00:08:38.31\00:08:41.56 Don't be satisfied until you know why. 00:08:41.59\00:08:45.05 And it could be after that journey 00:08:45.08\00:08:47.17 when you know why that the answer is 00:08:47.20\00:08:49.89 modern medicine, that the answer is a pill, 00:08:49.92\00:08:53.56 that the answer is a treatment and surgery. 00:08:53.59\00:08:57.34 But we've got to know why. 00:08:57.37\00:08:59.24 If we don't know why we can waste an awful 00:08:59.27\00:09:01.60 lot of money and increase the amount of pain 00:09:01.63\00:09:03.50 that we have simply because we are chasing 00:09:03.53\00:09:05.42 after a symptom as opposed to nailing down a cause. Right. 00:09:05.45\00:09:10.29 In everything we have to always assess 00:09:10.32\00:09:12.37 the risk and benefits of any treatment 00:09:12.40\00:09:14.61 or sometimes the risk of having chronic pain, 00:09:14.64\00:09:19.57 a little bit of pain is safer 00:09:19.60\00:09:21.64 than taking the treatment for it, you know. 00:09:21.67\00:09:24.19 So I mean it's a very fine balance 00:09:24.22\00:09:26.38 in answering these questions. 00:09:26.41\00:09:27.92 Every-- you said this earlier, 00:09:27.95\00:09:29.28 every individual is so unique and, 00:09:29.31\00:09:31.97 but what I want to get through today is if nothing else, 00:09:32.00\00:09:35.43 do those two things you said. 00:09:35.46\00:09:36.57 Find out the reason why and just don't accept 00:09:36.60\00:09:39.30 a narcotic right off the bat, you know, until you can 00:09:39.33\00:09:42.05 look at other ways that might be given to treat you. 00:09:42.08\00:09:44.68 Okay. So we are going to talk about water, 00:09:44.71\00:09:47.29 we are going to talk about exercise, 00:09:47.32\00:09:48.91 we are going to talk about sunshine. 00:09:48.94\00:09:50.15 These are ways to treat pain. 00:09:50.18\00:09:52.29 We can talk about our faith in God, 00:09:52.32\00:09:55.20 our worship of the true God, 00:09:55.23\00:09:57.22 a regiment in how we eat and how we relate to people. 00:09:57.25\00:10:03.93 I am assuming that anger can cause pain. 00:10:03.96\00:10:07.07 Yeah, stress, stress-- 00:10:07.10\00:10:08.38 And madness can cause pain. Guilt can cause pain. 00:10:08.41\00:10:14.92 That all adds to it. All right, okay. 00:10:14.95\00:10:17.43 So we need to really look at the cause and find out what it is. 00:10:17.46\00:10:20.58 And if you have a problem finding out what it is, 00:10:20.61\00:10:23.83 what would you recommend, Dr. Marcum? 00:10:23.86\00:10:25.62 Do you go to a medical doctor first? 00:10:25.65\00:10:27.87 You go to a pastor first? 00:10:27.90\00:10:29.85 If you want help with your chronic pain 00:10:29.88\00:10:32.50 where would be the first place you'd go? 00:10:32.53\00:10:34.29 This is a multidisciplinary thing. 00:10:34.32\00:10:36.64 You want to go to your physician to find out the cause. 00:10:36.67\00:10:39.44 Some people you might want to go 00:10:39.47\00:10:40.70 and have your pastor deal with it. 00:10:40.73\00:10:42.48 You just got to make sure there is nothing physical. 00:10:42.51\00:10:43.99 Right, you got to make that. 00:10:44.02\00:10:45.14 You know, sometimes there's pain clinics 00:10:45.17\00:10:47.12 that have different types of people 00:10:47.15\00:10:48.80 that might have a chiropractor involved, a nutritionist. 00:10:48.83\00:10:51.40 I believe we had a question about nutrition 00:10:51.43\00:10:52.93 that hopefully we'll get to. 00:10:52.96\00:10:54.54 There is multidiscipline approach. 00:10:54.57\00:10:56.62 It just shouldn't be one person looking at things. 00:10:56.65\00:10:58.80 There should be many people looking from different angles, 00:10:58.83\00:11:00.93 looking at the mind angle, look at the spiritual, 00:11:00.96\00:11:03.39 looking at the physical, looking at the lifestyle, 00:11:03.42\00:11:05.86 everything that makes up this. 00:11:05.89\00:11:07.30 And when hundred million people have it 00:11:07.33\00:11:09.64 and the numbers keep going up, again it's another thing 00:11:09.67\00:11:12.49 that we are not doing well. 00:11:12.52\00:11:14.06 We have to look for better answers and solutions 00:11:14.09\00:11:16.57 to this chronic pain syndrome. 00:11:16.60\00:11:18.72 Well, pretty soon we are going to have chronic pain 00:11:18.75\00:11:20.52 and chronic narcotic addiction, both. 00:11:20.55\00:11:22.75 And then when have another problem. 00:11:22.78\00:11:24.60 It reminded of the story of General Grant 00:11:24.63\00:11:27.39 right near the end of the Civil War. 00:11:27.42\00:11:29.98 He was in his tent and he was suffering 00:11:30.01\00:11:32.26 from a tremendous headache. 00:11:32.29\00:11:34.56 It was just pounding in his head 00:11:34.59\00:11:36.37 he wrote in his memoirs. 00:11:36.40\00:11:37.96 And just then there was a knock on the tent wood there, 00:11:37.99\00:11:41.57 the flap pulling up the tent on the structure there 00:11:41.60\00:11:45.20 and someone comes and says, you know, 00:11:45.23\00:11:46.93 General Lee just surrendered. 00:11:46.96\00:11:50.71 The war is over. 00:11:50.74\00:11:52.45 And General Grant said that his headache vanished. 00:11:52.48\00:11:56.24 It was gone just that time. 00:11:56.27\00:11:59.64 We need to make sure that when we are searching 00:11:59.67\00:12:01.62 for the source of our pain, when we are searching for 00:12:01.65\00:12:05.62 why that we take into consideration 00:12:05.65\00:12:08.48 the mental stresses we have in this world, 00:12:08.51\00:12:10.35 the stresses at work, the stresses of family. 00:12:10.38\00:12:12.81 And if we find that those things are affecting us, 00:12:12.84\00:12:15.74 that we apply God's rules of love 00:12:15.77\00:12:18.38 and forgiveness and grace to those issues 00:12:18.41\00:12:20.28 and look for solutions there. 00:12:20.31\00:12:22.86 We'll take a break now and when we come back 00:12:22.89\00:12:24.76 let's talk to the Master Physician about the pain 00:12:24.79\00:12:27.81 that might be in your heart and the healing 00:12:27.84\00:12:30.70 that He offers to everyone of us. Stay tuned. 00:12:30.73\00:12:33.30 Chronic pain affects 100 million people in America 00:12:40.76\00:12:44.58 and it also is a problem worldwide. 00:12:44.61\00:12:47.86 I hope you are not one that's suffering from chronic pain, 00:12:47.89\00:12:50.31 but if you are, I hope this program 00:12:50.34\00:12:51.68 helped you and if you are not, 00:12:51.71\00:12:53.21 I hope you can share this information with someone else. 00:12:53.24\00:12:56.35 The key to chronic pain is asking the question why, 00:12:56.38\00:13:00.19 try not to reach for a narcotic first 00:13:00.22\00:13:03.25 and look for other alternatives 00:13:03.28\00:13:05.23 that might be used to treat the pain 00:13:05.26\00:13:07.29 before you reach for something that's dangerous. 00:13:07.32\00:13:09.51 Look at all the risks and benefits 00:13:09.54\00:13:11.72 to anything you might be doing. 00:13:11.75\00:13:13.32 And sometimes remember it's not just one person 00:13:13.35\00:13:15.95 that helps you with chronic pain. 00:13:15.98\00:13:17.25 It could be a multidisciplinary approach. 00:13:17.28\00:13:20.11 One of the things I didn't quite have the time 00:13:20.14\00:13:22.16 to mention is the importance of nutrition. 00:13:22.19\00:13:24.68 Nutrition is very important 00:13:24.71\00:13:26.49 in the treatment of chronic pain. 00:13:26.52\00:13:28.02 Certain foods that cause inflammation, 00:13:28.05\00:13:30.41 a fatty diet can cause lots of inflammation 00:13:30.44\00:13:32.82 which can make chronic pain worse. 00:13:32.85\00:13:34.61 And there is also foods, especially healthy foods, 00:13:34.64\00:13:37.04 that make you have antioxidants, lots of water, 00:13:37.07\00:13:40.15 that also might help with chronic pain. 00:13:40.18\00:13:42.69 If you are the one that might be having 00:13:42.72\00:13:44.12 chronic pain today, we want to say a prayer for you 00:13:44.15\00:13:47.23 and also all those out there. 00:13:47.26\00:13:48.58 So let's just bow our heads just for a few seconds. 00:13:48.61\00:13:51.74 Father God, there are many of us that are having physical pain, 00:13:51.77\00:13:54.41 that have chronic pain, that have mental pain. 00:13:54.44\00:13:58.12 We know that the only true solution 00:13:58.15\00:14:00.80 is that for You to come again and take us home 00:14:00.83\00:14:03.11 and to heal us, Father. 00:14:03.14\00:14:04.65 But until that time we want to trust in You 00:14:04.68\00:14:07.66 to lead us in this relationship and help us to find answers, 00:14:07.69\00:14:11.18 answers from good doctors and other people 00:14:11.21\00:14:13.88 and help us to find the solutions to pain 00:14:13.91\00:14:16.34 that's affecting the world. 00:14:16.37\00:14:17.74 And please be with us always is our humble prayer. Amen. 00:14:17.77\00:14:22.81 Don't forget I'll be happy to answer your question 00:14:22.84\00:14:25.53 by going to our website heartwiseministries.org 00:14:25.56\00:14:28.72 and let us know what your needs are 00:14:28.75\00:14:30.54 and we'll be happy to pray for you. 00:14:30.57\00:14:32.24 Thanks for watching the "Ultimate Prescription." 00:14:32.27\00:14:34.30
