Welcome back to the program. 00:00:01.06\00:00:02.09 I'm Charles Mills here with the Dr. James Marcum. 00:00:02.12\00:00:03.62 We're talking about hearts today. 00:00:03.65\00:00:05.98 And we're looking at some of the questions 00:00:06.01\00:00:07.42 that have come into heartwiseministries.org 00:00:07.45\00:00:09.69 on the subject of hearts. 00:00:09.72\00:00:11.28 One of the most important questions I think that has come 00:00:11.31\00:00:15.88 in is what is happening in heart care. 00:00:15.91\00:00:20.59 We know we have a problem, number one killer, 00:00:20.62\00:00:23.13 well, arguably number one killer over medications 00:00:23.16\00:00:26.27 but arguably number one killer. 00:00:26.30\00:00:28.12 We have a problem with heart disease and we want to know 00:00:28.15\00:00:31.93 what's going on to help us fight heart disease. 00:00:31.96\00:00:35.75 You already mentioned that food is important. 00:00:35.78\00:00:38.85 On the medical part, on the scientific part, 00:00:38.88\00:00:41.30 is there something we need to know about. 00:00:41.33\00:00:42.76 Well, you know, we are improving the way 00:00:42.79\00:00:45.17 we bypass around vessels that people would have symptoms. 00:00:45.20\00:00:48.65 We've got magic devices if the heart 00:00:48.68\00:00:51.12 just stops suddenly, they are called defibrillators 00:00:51.15\00:00:53.79 and when we have an external defibrillator 00:00:53.82\00:00:55.94 that some people might see in airports, 00:00:55.97\00:00:58.60 they might see them in schools, 00:00:58.63\00:01:00.32 they might see them in hospitals. 00:01:00.35\00:01:01.93 We have internal defibrillators that can literally 00:01:01.96\00:01:05.34 be in ambulance with you and you put 00:01:05.37\00:01:07.96 that under the stent. This is cool. 00:01:07.99\00:01:09.18 I've heard about this because 00:01:09.21\00:01:10.41 this can be programmed from outside. 00:01:10.44\00:01:12.64 That's right, they can be and they help 00:01:12.67\00:01:14.64 keep the heart going. 00:01:14.67\00:01:16.08 If they have a dangerous rhythm, 00:01:16.11\00:01:17.32 a faster that can shock the heart back in the rhythm. 00:01:17.35\00:01:20.14 It has a pacemaker in this, but this device 00:01:20.17\00:01:23.70 is really good for damage control. 00:01:23.73\00:01:25.80 Absolutely. It doesn't prevent the problem, 00:01:25.83\00:01:27.77 it doesn't necessarily help the problem from getting worse 00:01:27.80\00:01:30.44 but if it's life threatening, this can take care of you too. 00:01:30.47\00:01:33.12 I see this is where modern medicine is so cool. 00:01:33.15\00:01:35.16 Yes, emergencies, we're right there for you. 00:01:35.19\00:01:37.25 Yeah, yeah. I mean, we've got 00:01:37.28\00:01:38.31 some great medicines are there, of course for some people 00:01:38.34\00:01:41.69 depending on the problems, we can put new parts 00:01:41.72\00:01:45.44 in people literally with transplants. 00:01:45.47\00:01:47.52 If people have congenital disease 00:01:47.55\00:01:49.45 we can fix their valves in that. 00:01:49.48\00:01:51.17 So modern medicine does a lot of good things 00:01:51.20\00:01:53.90 but I think the next revolution in healthcare is as I said, 00:01:53.93\00:01:58.28 it's not gonna be a pacemaker, it's not gonna be a new device. 00:01:58.31\00:02:01.40 What it's gonna be we've already seen it. 00:02:01.43\00:02:03.20 Now I'm gonna ask you question, Charles. 00:02:03.23\00:02:05.20 A 100 years ago if I would have said, you know-- 00:02:05.23\00:02:09.26 You are asking me about 100 years ago. 00:02:09.29\00:02:10.46 Yeah, about a 100 years ago-- 00:02:10.49\00:02:11.52 How old you think I look? 00:02:11.55\00:02:12.58 No, no, no you're not 100. 00:02:12.61\00:02:13.66 Okay. But if you were 100 00:02:13.69\00:02:14.84 and a 100 years ago and you went back 00:02:14.87\00:02:16.65 what would you think about people said, 00:02:16.68\00:02:18.26 you know, I want to eat a vegetarian diet, 00:02:18.29\00:02:20.43 what do you think people would say? 00:02:20.46\00:02:21.81 Well, probably people would say, 00:02:21.84\00:02:23.21 well, why would you want to do that because 00:02:23.24\00:02:24.69 that's what poor people do it. 00:02:24.72\00:02:25.75 Right, they would laugh at you. 00:02:25.78\00:02:27.54 Yeah, absolutely. They would laugh at you, 00:02:27.57\00:02:28.77 you know. And you look back in medicine 00:02:28.80\00:02:31.48 and 200 years ago if you were doctor, 00:02:31.51\00:02:34.44 didn't put leeches on people 00:02:34.47\00:02:35.90 you were bad doctor. 00:02:35.93\00:02:37.46 I don't want to go to you, you don't use leeches. 00:02:37.49\00:02:40.66 But I use it very latest leeches. 00:02:40.69\00:02:41.72 Yeah, in 1935 in the Journal of American Medical Association 00:02:41.75\00:02:45.31 for asthma they used, recommend the cigarette 00:02:45.34\00:02:48.10 and if you didn't recommend cigarettes you were bad doctor. 00:02:48.14\00:02:51.29 You know, and of course in heart disease, 00:02:51.32\00:02:55.37 you know, if you didn't have a stent or bypass, 00:02:55.40\00:02:57.39 if you didn't recommended that you are bad doctor. 00:02:57.42\00:03:00.14 But the next revolution of healthcare 00:03:00.17\00:03:02.06 is gonna come from the food we eat, the diet. 00:03:02.09\00:03:04.77 Letting people know that they can halt 00:03:04.80\00:03:06.69 heart disease and reverse it. 00:03:06.72\00:03:08.08 Dr. Esselstyn, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, 00:03:08.11\00:03:11.04 these gentlemen are on the cutting edge of research. 00:03:11.07\00:03:14.69 And now we're talking about it. 00:03:14.72\00:03:16.56 Hundred years ago it was laughed out. 00:03:16.59\00:03:18.92 Now it's been talked about. 00:03:18.95\00:03:20.59 In 100 more years we're gonna look back and say, 00:03:20.62\00:03:23.01 hey, these guys were right where it's at, 00:03:23.04\00:03:25.51 this is the way, you know, this is the way 00:03:25.54\00:03:26.94 we prevent disease, it's also way we prevent disease. 00:03:26.97\00:03:30.27 So you gonna see nutrition, 00:03:30.30\00:03:32.34 you know, we're gonna say, 00:03:32.37\00:03:33.64 you know, this Dr, Hippocrates was right all along. 00:03:33.67\00:03:36.77 Let food be thy medicine. 00:03:36.80\00:03:38.52 So not only be thy medicine but food can also hurt us. 00:03:38.55\00:03:41.73 So we're gonna have a whole new revolution of the way 00:03:41.76\00:03:44.39 we think about cardiovascular disease 00:03:44.42\00:03:45.98 and then they are gonna look at you and say, 00:03:46.01\00:03:47.04 listen, we have some test now, 00:03:47.07\00:03:49.87 we can see if your plaques are active in you. 00:03:49.90\00:03:52.10 We can see if they are metabolically active, 00:03:52.13\00:03:54.38 see if you have dangerous plaques 00:03:54.41\00:03:56.30 Oh, man, Charles, you've got some dangerous 00:03:56.33\00:03:58.18 plaques here and here. 00:03:58.21\00:03:59.53 You better get this fat out of your diet very quickly 00:03:59.56\00:04:02.42 before one of those plaques explode and cause heart attack. 00:04:02.45\00:04:05.48 You better do this right away, 00:04:05.51\00:04:06.77 so they're gonna measure these inflammatory markers, 00:04:06.80\00:04:09.32 these leukotrienes, these cytokines. 00:04:09.35\00:04:11.58 We already measuring the risk a little bit with things 00:04:11.61\00:04:14.19 likes C-reactive protein, we measure lipoproteins, 00:04:14.22\00:04:18.00 but we really gonna get people's attention say, 00:04:18.03\00:04:20.01 listen, you know, we have cholesterol medicines 00:04:20.04\00:04:22.05 but in addition to this, we want you to have a walnut, 00:04:22.08\00:04:25.63 we want you to have an almond, we want you to move 00:04:25.66\00:04:27.70 this fat and cheese out of you 'cause you eat 00:04:27.73\00:04:29.64 that and we can see what it's doing inside you. 00:04:29.67\00:04:31.93 That's gonna be the next revolution. 00:04:31.96\00:04:33.88 Now are we gonna do this as a country 00:04:33.91\00:04:37.33 or is it gonna be some big study done? 00:04:37.36\00:04:39.94 No. It's gonna come on individuals and thank goodness 00:04:39.97\00:04:43.42 we have the internet, programs like this 00:04:43.45\00:04:46.17 where we can get a lot of information 00:04:46.20\00:04:47.91 out for lot of people. 00:04:47.94\00:04:49.10 And if they don't believe it just try yourself. 00:04:49.13\00:04:51.90 If you start eating well, all of your blood vessels 00:04:51.93\00:04:54.35 get more blood and oxygen, you start thinking better, 00:04:54.38\00:04:57.06 your heart starts doing better, 00:04:57.09\00:04:58.90 you start functioning better elsewhere, 00:04:58.93\00:05:01.33 you legs feel better, your color gets better, 00:05:01.36\00:05:03.39 your skins gets better, everything gets better 00:05:03.42\00:05:05.69 when there is good blood going to the body. 00:05:05.72\00:05:08.02 It is amazing to hear a-- 00:05:08.05\00:05:09.47 So that's gonna be the revolution. 00:05:09.50\00:05:10.67 It is amazing to hear a cardiologist say these things. 00:05:10.70\00:05:12.99 I want to just-- want to say thank you for-- 00:05:13.02\00:05:15.22 Well, you know, a lot of people would 00:05:15.25\00:05:16.82 but we weren't trained, you know, less than 5% 00:05:16.85\00:05:19.95 of all medical schools teach nutrition and the once 00:05:19.98\00:05:23.03 that do don't do it correctly. 00:05:23.06\00:05:24.68 They don't go the next step, you know, and that's, you know, 00:05:24.71\00:05:27.86 I guess the revolution really started back at creation. 00:05:27.89\00:05:31.91 Well, that was in the revolution 00:05:31.94\00:05:33.14 but how about Daniel's day, 00:05:33.17\00:05:34.49 you remember that story? Absolutely. 00:05:34.52\00:05:35.82 You know, he and his fellows there, 00:05:35.85\00:05:38.64 you know, after a short period of time 00:05:38.67\00:05:40.51 were 10 times smarter, so let's say the king's guy 00:05:40.54\00:05:43.18 had IQs of 120, where does that take Daniel. 00:05:43.21\00:05:46.61 You know, yeah, and his friends. 00:05:46.64\00:05:48.62 But I think it was more than medicine, 00:05:48.65\00:05:50.20 I also think it was about worship too. 00:05:50.23\00:05:52.45 So I think there was multiple factors but here God 00:05:52.48\00:05:55.62 told this to us all along. 00:05:55.65\00:05:57.10 Now science is coming back to it, 00:05:57.13\00:05:59.22 you know, why didn't we just started 00:05:59.25\00:06:00.98 in the first place, I don't know. 00:06:01.01\00:06:03.22 It is so wonderful to hear a science saying, 00:06:03.25\00:06:06.63 you know, God is right. 00:06:06.66\00:06:08.91 What God said is correct. 00:06:08.94\00:06:11.30 That for every Christian 00:06:11.33\00:06:13.23 that has to be a very affirming thing, 00:06:13.26\00:06:16.19 but I have a problem because many Christians 00:06:16.22\00:06:19.10 have the same ills as non-Christians, 00:06:19.13\00:06:21.30 there doesn't seem to be a demarcation line between 00:06:21.33\00:06:24.08 those who love God and those who don't love God 00:06:24.11\00:06:26.87 as far as health is concern. 00:06:26.90\00:06:28.48 So it's not the Christianity, it's not that you 00:06:28.51\00:06:30.98 are a Christian that's making the difference. 00:06:31.01\00:06:32.70 It's what you are actually doing and using 00:06:32.73\00:06:35.15 those Christian principles that God put in place in Eden, 00:06:35.18\00:06:37.10 that's making the difference. 00:06:37.13\00:06:38.29 Yeah, and there is real science behind each one of those. 00:06:38.32\00:06:40.96 Okay, you mentioned that one of the things 00:06:40.99\00:06:45.04 you can do for your heart is a defibrillator. 00:06:45.07\00:06:47.58 And I want to say this because a lot of people 00:06:47.61\00:06:49.77 are afraid if someone is having a heart attack 00:06:49.80\00:06:52.42 and they want to be helped 00:06:52.45\00:06:54.68 and there is one of these hanging around. 00:06:54.71\00:06:57.20 how does it work and what can you do with it? 00:06:57.23\00:06:59.35 Yeah, if someone passes out, 00:06:59.38\00:07:00.87 okay, what you need to do is call 911 get help, 00:07:00.90\00:07:04.63 so other people are coming. 00:07:04.66\00:07:05.97 These tell you exactly where they go. 00:07:06.00\00:07:08.25 You rip the shirt off real quick. 00:07:08.28\00:07:09.90 I'm not gonna do that to you. 00:07:09.93\00:07:11.06 It shows right where they go. 00:07:11.09\00:07:13.15 All right. One goes here, 00:07:13.18\00:07:14.35 one goes on the back. 00:07:14.38\00:07:15.60 So you rip those apart, you put in on those places. 00:07:15.63\00:07:18.29 Okay. You just hit the on button. 00:07:18.32\00:07:20.21 Yeah. And it analysis it. 00:07:20.24\00:07:21.69 It tells you what to do, and it will shock 00:07:21.72\00:07:23.80 you if you need the shock 00:07:23.83\00:07:24.93 and if you don't need that's all you do. 00:07:24.96\00:07:26.68 It makes the decisions for you. It does everything. 00:07:26.71\00:07:28.74 All you got to do is put these babies 00:07:28.77\00:07:30.24 on and turn this on and that will do the rest for you. 00:07:30.27\00:07:33.54 So they these in airplanes, 00:07:33.57\00:07:34.88 they have these in some companies, businesses-- 00:07:34.91\00:07:36.35 Churches, lots of places have these. 00:07:36.38\00:07:38.28 And all you have to do is do that, 00:07:38.31\00:07:39.95 it could save a life and you just got to be brave enough 00:07:39.98\00:07:42.83 to go out and do, you can't do any harm, you know-- 00:07:42.86\00:07:45.35 Okay, that's good to know. 00:07:45.38\00:07:46.41 You can't hurt anybody by doing it, 00:07:46.44\00:07:47.65 'cause, you know, if you don't do it, you know, 00:07:47.68\00:07:50.36 you get about five or six minutes before the brain 00:07:50.39\00:07:52.76 doesn't get enough blood and then you go brain dead. 00:07:52.79\00:07:55.64 So this help save lots of people. 00:07:55.67\00:07:57.59 All right, very good. 00:07:57.62\00:07:58.65 Another question that came in, 00:07:58.68\00:07:59.99 it has to do with some herbs. 00:08:00.02\00:08:01.45 Can hawthorn be used to treat the heart. 00:08:01.48\00:08:04.37 Now what is hawthorn and what we're 00:08:04.40\00:08:05.97 talking about here. There is a lot of magic things 00:08:06.00\00:08:07.64 that are out there to treat the heart. 00:08:07.67\00:08:09.47 There is, you know, of course I like to treat 00:08:09.50\00:08:11.50 the heart best with lifestyle changes, 00:08:11.53\00:08:13.33 exercise, stress, exercise. 00:08:13.36\00:08:15.25 There is modern medicine if you're having symptoms. 00:08:15.28\00:08:17.61 But there are also things that have symptoms, 00:08:17.64\00:08:19.91 hawthorn is one of them. 00:08:19.94\00:08:21.25 It's been around in Europe for a long time. 00:08:21.28\00:08:23.38 This actually helps the heart and I think 00:08:23.41\00:08:25.22 of some of the flavonoids and antioxidants 00:08:25.25\00:08:27.49 but it also can make a heart beat better 00:08:27.52\00:08:29.63 and it's use it's not a prescription medicines, 00:08:29.66\00:08:32.13 but this is one that's actually been studied 00:08:32.16\00:08:33.81 and a few patients I've had on it. 00:08:33.84\00:08:35.71 Now I don't take them off other medicines for weak heart 00:08:35.74\00:08:38.39 but usually this is add on in addition. 00:08:38.42\00:08:40.80 So hawthorn is something that's used. 00:08:40.83\00:08:42.71 When it comes to herbs you have that someone 00:08:42.74\00:08:45.07 that knows it very well, 'cause I consider herbs 00:08:45.10\00:08:47.66 in the same classification as medicines. 00:08:47.69\00:08:49.32 You said this before, yes, yeah. 00:08:49.35\00:08:50.45 And they have this interactions in a lot of our plant, 00:08:50.48\00:08:53.14 a lot of our medicines came from herbs. 00:08:53.17\00:08:55.46 So you really have someone that understands 00:08:55.49\00:08:57.76 it and also to look to the science for use on it. 00:08:57.79\00:09:00.94 Because a lot of stuff on the internet 00:09:00.97\00:09:02.47 claims to do great things. 00:09:02.50\00:09:04.13 Well, hawthorn is one that's been looked into. 00:09:04.16\00:09:06.23 You have to also get it from a company that's very reputable 00:09:06.26\00:09:09.64 'cause these are not regulated. 00:09:09.67\00:09:12.06 So we don't really know what's in here. 00:09:12.09\00:09:13.55 The drug companies don't have to, 00:09:13.58\00:09:15.18 you know, they are not regulate that's the drug company, 00:09:15.21\00:09:17.07 so we don't really know what's in this. 00:09:17.10\00:09:18.44 But hawthorn is one that used in people with weak hearts. 00:09:18.47\00:09:21.46 And but I wouldn't take it without talking to your doctor 00:09:21.49\00:09:24.54 and also looking at the other medicines 00:09:24.57\00:09:26.24 'cause you want these other medicines 00:09:26.27\00:09:27.47 that can help a weak heart as well. 00:09:27.50\00:09:29.81 I think one of the questions here that came 00:09:29.84\00:09:33.17 into heartwiseministies.org is reflective 00:09:33.20\00:09:36.11 of what a lot of people think and wonder. 00:09:36.14\00:09:40.76 The question was, are stents and bypasses risky? 00:09:40.79\00:09:44.54 Now of course any time you crack open someone's chest 00:09:44.57\00:09:47.52 or you send something up into an artery and you inflate 00:09:47.55\00:09:49.91 there or put the stent or whatever, 00:09:49.95\00:09:51.38 these are risky business but is the very act 00:09:51.41\00:09:54.44 of doing that to your artery risk. 00:09:54.47\00:09:56.40 Does it carry some dangers? 00:09:56.43\00:09:57.82 Well, everything that we do in life has risk 00:09:57.85\00:10:00.83 as well as benefits and doctors 00:10:00.86\00:10:03.25 are in the risk management business. 00:10:03.28\00:10:05.41 So if a person is having a catastrophic symptom, 00:10:05.44\00:10:07.84 a heart attack, if they are at high risk, 00:10:07.87\00:10:09.61 bypass is sometimes recommended. 00:10:09.64\00:10:11.69 There were about 500,000 bypasses 00:10:11.72\00:10:14.06 done last year in the United States. 00:10:14.09\00:10:15.74 The risk of dying during is about 1.5%, 00:10:15.77\00:10:18.71 so about 15,000 people will dies from the procedure itself 00:10:18.74\00:10:22.75 from all the complications that go with it. 00:10:22.78\00:10:25.85 There are about a million stents placed 00:10:25.89\00:10:28.07 in United States last year. 00:10:28.10\00:10:29.37 And of those million stents about 10,000 people died. 00:10:29.40\00:10:33.32 So that's 25,000 people dying from those two procedures. 00:10:33.35\00:10:37.24 If 25,000 people die per year from anything 00:10:37.27\00:10:40.42 you would consider that pretty-- 00:10:40.45\00:10:42.03 Absolutely. Absolutely. 00:10:42.06\00:10:43.51 Not to mention the trauma. 00:10:43.54\00:10:44.63 I think it's pretty traumatic when someone pulls open to that, 00:10:44.66\00:10:47.40 pulls veins out of legs and bypasses on. 00:10:47.43\00:10:49.98 I consider that pretty major 00:10:50.01\00:10:52.43 and pretty traumatic and pretty invasive. 00:10:52.46\00:10:54.25 So when I ask someone said, maybe eat 00:10:54.28\00:10:56.42 little bit more vegetables and bean soup. 00:10:56.45\00:10:58.81 I don't consider that that invasive. 00:10:58.84\00:11:01.07 You know, you see what I'm saying. 00:11:01.10\00:11:02.44 And much more tasty. Yeah, 00:11:02.47\00:11:03.50 and the risk of that, the real thing 00:11:03.53\00:11:05.05 is we want to prevent that taking these risk 00:11:05.08\00:11:07.55 if we don't have to. 00:11:07.58\00:11:09.18 And if I can find one or two people 00:11:09.21\00:11:10.79 that will gradually change their diet or their stress, 00:11:10.82\00:11:13.21 so they exercise from, they might prevent 00:11:13.24\00:11:15.50 taking these risks where people actually die 00:11:15.53\00:11:18.16 from having these things done. 00:11:18.19\00:11:19.61 So if we could-- preventing the problem 00:11:19.64\00:11:21.19 is much better than dealing with all these thing. 00:11:21.22\00:11:22.93 But there is risk to any procedure out 00:11:22.96\00:11:24.95 there carry some risk. 00:11:24.98\00:11:26.48 And when I recommend these things I say, 00:11:26.51\00:11:28.19 Charles, you know, is the risk worth the benefit. 00:11:28.22\00:11:31.49 And a lot of the benefits is improving the symptoms. 00:11:31.52\00:11:34.08 So you have a better quality of life, 00:11:34.11\00:11:35.83 so you can exercise, so you do have time 00:11:35.86\00:11:38.55 to figure out what caused it to happen. 00:11:38.58\00:11:40.38 So you have to always look at the risk and benefit, 00:11:40.41\00:11:43.15 but these procedures that we are doing today 00:11:43.18\00:11:44.97 do carry risk with them. 00:11:45.00\00:11:48.27 And some people think there is no risk. 00:11:48.30\00:11:49.58 Oh, you know, I had some people, 00:11:49.61\00:11:51.84 oh, it fixes me, it fixes me. 00:11:51.87\00:11:53.78 Well, that's the marketing. 00:11:53.81\00:11:55.04 It doesn't fix you. 00:11:55.07\00:11:56.48 And that's what people have to understand. 00:11:56.51\00:11:58.03 These procedures, these medicines 00:11:58.06\00:12:00.01 don't fix the problem, they just treat the symptoms. 00:12:00.04\00:12:02.58 Now we can greatly improve the symptoms 00:12:02.61\00:12:04.70 that will enable you to do things to possibly slow down 00:12:04.73\00:12:08.32 disease or reverse the disease. 00:12:08.35\00:12:10.68 These are important words for us to hear 00:12:10.71\00:12:12.28 today about our hearts. 00:12:12.31\00:12:13.82 We have a chance, we have an opportunity 00:12:13.85\00:12:16.85 to make a difference in our health 00:12:16.88\00:12:19.12 but we need to make those choices. 00:12:19.15\00:12:21.71 We need to decide that we're trying 00:12:21.74\00:12:23.82 to do it according to God's health plan, 00:12:23.85\00:12:26.28 I like to try God's health plan there. 00:12:26.31\00:12:28.31 We'll take a short break and when we come back 00:12:28.34\00:12:29.73 a conversation with that God. Stay tuned. 00:12:29.76\00:12:32.53 Well, there's a few things that everyone has to take home 00:12:39.47\00:12:42.70 from this program today. 00:12:42.73\00:12:44.49 One is cardiovascular disease can be silent. 00:12:44.52\00:12:48.21 We might not even know we have it, 00:12:48.24\00:12:50.53 but there is things we can do before we have a symptom, 00:12:50.56\00:12:53.84 things that we can do, look at our life, 00:12:53.87\00:12:56.47 see if we're under a lot of stress, 00:12:56.50\00:12:58.51 look at our nutrition, make sure 00:12:58.54\00:12:59.87 we're getting the fats out of our diet 00:12:59.90\00:13:01.67 and get out and do some movement or exercise. 00:13:01.70\00:13:05.48 If you are having a symptom 00:13:05.51\00:13:07.06 that's where modern medicine can really help. 00:13:07.09\00:13:09.51 See your doctor especially 00:13:09.54\00:13:10.98 if you are having pain on exertion. 00:13:11.01\00:13:12.71 And remember in this book right here, 00:13:12.74\00:13:15.72 there is a lots of prescriptions that can change your chemistry. 00:13:15.75\00:13:19.61 Open this book, read about the stories, 00:13:19.64\00:13:22.64 read about all the wonderful things that happened at creation 00:13:22.67\00:13:25.89 that God kept His people well through all generations. 00:13:25.92\00:13:28.79 Read about the story of Daniel. 00:13:28.82\00:13:30.96 And if you might be suffering from cardiovascular disease 00:13:30.99\00:13:33.66 or have a loved one, I want to just have 00:13:33.69\00:13:35.40 a prayer with you right now. 00:13:35.43\00:13:36.91 We want to acknowledge the ultimate physician 00:13:36.94\00:13:39.07 as the real healer in our lives. 00:13:39.10\00:13:41.16 Let's just bow our heads. 00:13:41.19\00:13:43.58 Father God, as we talked about the heart 00:13:43.61\00:13:45.69 and we talked about your health and your book, 00:13:45.72\00:13:47.72 we always want to acknowledge you as the ultimate healer 00:13:47.75\00:13:50.45 in our lives, Father. 00:13:50.48\00:13:51.75 Help us to look to you first when it comes to our healthcare 00:13:51.78\00:13:54.48 and ask you for the answers. 00:13:54.51\00:13:56.11 And if there might be someone out there, Father, 00:13:56.14\00:13:58.04 that's suffering from heart disease, 00:13:58.07\00:13:59.37 we want to pray that you heal them and lead them 00:13:59.40\00:14:02.18 to the healing people and things that they do in their lives 00:14:02.21\00:14:05.55 is our humble prayer, amen. 00:14:05.58\00:14:09.49 Thank you for joining us once again 00:14:09.52\00:14:11.24 on the Ultimate Prescription. 00:14:11.27\00:14:13.06 If you have any questions or concerns, 00:14:13.09\00:14:14.92 we have a website, we're here to serve you. 00:14:14.95\00:14:16.75 Go to our website that's heartwiseministries.org. 00:14:16.78\00:14:21.33 Send us your prayer request. 00:14:21.36\00:14:22.84 We're gonna be praying for you and your health in the future. 00:14:22.87\00:14:26.05 Remember the ultimate physician 00:14:26.08\00:14:27.78 is where we must start first in our healthcare. 00:14:27.81\00:14:30.72
