Welcome back to the program. 00:00:01.36\00:00:02.70 I'm your host Nick Evenson and we're here with Dr. Marcum 00:00:02.73\00:00:04.07 today talking about skin pain. 00:00:04.10\00:00:05.97 And we invite you, if you have a question 00:00:06.00\00:00:08.47 to go to heartwiseministries.org 00:00:08.50\00:00:11.34 where you can ask your questions. 00:00:11.37\00:00:12.97 You can submit a prayer request if you have something 00:00:13.01\00:00:15.81 that you'd like us to pray for. 00:00:15.84\00:00:17.75 And you can also listen to previous radio programs, 00:00:17.78\00:00:20.95 read Dr. Marcum's blogs, and just give us some feedback 00:00:20.98\00:00:24.25 about what you want to hear on these programs. 00:00:24.29\00:00:26.49 And Dr. Marcum, what kind of experiences 00:00:26.52\00:00:29.62 have you had personally with pain 00:00:29.66\00:00:32.13 in relation to your skin? 00:00:32.16\00:00:33.50 Well, you know, everyone has had-- 00:00:33.53\00:00:35.70 I'm sure everyone out there in our audiences 00:00:35.73\00:00:37.47 had problems with bug bites, you know, animal bites, 00:00:37.50\00:00:41.67 you know, that can cause problems to the skin 00:00:41.70\00:00:43.61 and they usually they inject a toxin. 00:00:43.64\00:00:45.97 When they inject a toxin, your nerves feel it 00:00:46.01\00:00:48.34 and that's what causes the pain. 00:00:48.38\00:00:49.71 The nerve say ouch, 00:00:49.74\00:00:51.08 this is not supposed to be there. 00:00:51.11\00:00:52.81 And then the inflammatory cells come 00:00:52.85\00:00:54.98 and it starts to be inflamed, then it starts to hurt. 00:00:55.02\00:00:58.02 So most of the skin problems are acute problems. 00:00:58.05\00:01:00.66 You know, what caused it. 00:01:00.69\00:01:02.32 You know, and you know how to get over it. 00:01:02.36\00:01:04.53 Some of them, you know, your skin can be damaged 00:01:04.56\00:01:07.20 by chronic problems as well. 00:01:07.23\00:01:10.10 What are some chronic problems? 00:01:10.13\00:01:11.63 We talked about chronically lack of water, 00:01:11.67\00:01:13.77 that's a problem. 00:01:13.80\00:01:15.14 Yeah, dehydration. 00:01:15.17\00:01:16.50 But when I was seven years old, 00:01:16.54\00:01:18.34 I had an accident and during that accident, 00:01:18.37\00:01:21.11 I fell out of a tree. 00:01:21.14\00:01:23.24 And when I fell out of a tree, Nick, I broke my arm 00:01:23.28\00:01:26.31 and the bones ended up like that 00:01:26.35\00:01:28.68 when I broke the arm. 00:01:28.72\00:01:30.05 And nowadays they just would have pinned it 00:01:30.09\00:01:31.65 to straighten the arm, 00:01:31.69\00:01:33.32 but back then they used something called traction, 00:01:33.36\00:01:36.66 where they pull a lot of weight to weaken the muscles, 00:01:36.69\00:01:39.16 so the bones would sort, the muscles would get weak 00:01:39.19\00:01:41.53 and the bones would sort of line up, 00:01:41.56\00:01:43.16 then they could heal 'cause parts don't heal 00:01:43.20\00:01:45.80 well in the body unless they're lined up pretty well. 00:01:45.83\00:01:48.47 So that's what we do in bones. 00:01:48.50\00:01:50.24 So they pull a lot of traction on my arm. 00:01:50.27\00:01:54.01 In fact, they put so much traction on my arm, 00:01:54.04\00:01:56.98 it cut off the blood supply to the arm. 00:01:57.01\00:01:59.98 And when it cut off the blood supply to the arm, 00:02:00.02\00:02:02.22 the arm and the hand didn't get enough oxygen. 00:02:02.25\00:02:06.22 And my skin, certain parts of it 00:02:06.25\00:02:08.99 didn't get enough oxygen became severely painful. 00:02:09.02\00:02:12.66 Severely painful, you don't get enough oxygen, it hurts. 00:02:12.69\00:02:15.36 Your nerves damage, it hurts. 00:02:15.40\00:02:17.03 So my arm sort of, the skin in that felt like 00:02:17.07\00:02:19.60 it was a funny bone, in fact after a while, 00:02:19.63\00:02:22.34 you know, the treatment of course 00:02:22.37\00:02:23.71 is to restore a blood flow. 00:02:23.74\00:02:25.81 And after a while, the only thing 00:02:25.84\00:02:28.01 that would help my hand 00:02:28.04\00:02:29.38 was they actually did a skin graft. 00:02:29.41\00:02:31.08 So I'm probably one of the few people in the world 00:02:31.11\00:02:34.98 that makes me special that has the sun tan 00:02:35.02\00:02:38.15 in the palm of their hand because this came from my leg. 00:02:38.19\00:02:40.59 This skin helped prepare this. 00:02:40.62\00:02:42.46 And I'm also one of the few people 00:02:42.49\00:02:43.93 that have to shave the palm of the hand 00:02:43.96\00:02:47.30 because it still has hair follicles. 00:02:47.33\00:02:49.20 But because modern medicine 00:02:49.23\00:02:50.70 could put skin grafting to my skin, 00:02:50.73\00:02:53.74 it was able to protect this part of my skin 00:02:53.77\00:02:56.34 and I didn't have to lose another finger. 00:02:56.37\00:02:59.77 So there is a place for modern medicine 00:02:59.81\00:03:02.61 in dealing with chronic problems. 00:03:02.64\00:03:04.48 So, I guess the point I'm trying to make 00:03:04.51\00:03:06.72 is chronic disease affects the skin too. 00:03:06.75\00:03:09.75 Yeah. Diabetes is the big one. 00:03:09.78\00:03:11.85 You know, diabetes really affects 00:03:11.89\00:03:13.46 the blood supply to the skin, the nerves of the skin, 00:03:13.49\00:03:16.69 and it can damage the skin. 00:03:16.73\00:03:18.06 In fact, diabetics can have skin problems 00:03:18.09\00:03:20.63 and because their nerves don't feel it, 00:03:20.66\00:03:22.16 they get infections and they don't even know it 00:03:22.20\00:03:24.63 because they're compromised in their skin. 00:03:24.67\00:03:26.90 So those are some sort of things 00:03:26.94\00:03:28.30 that people realize it, 00:03:28.34\00:03:29.74 they don't realize is skin is very valuable to us 00:03:29.77\00:03:32.57 and sometimes we take it for granted, 00:03:32.61\00:03:34.54 but chronic conditions of the skin are rare, 00:03:34.58\00:03:37.25 but when they happen like diabetes or chronic trauma 00:03:37.28\00:03:40.45 or lack of blood, it's very serious. 00:03:40.48\00:03:43.08 You know, I guess one of the worst situations 00:03:43.12\00:03:45.32 I ever had with skin pain and issues. 00:03:45.35\00:03:48.69 I was a kid and I had poison ivy 00:03:48.72\00:03:50.39 and it got under my face. 00:03:50.43\00:03:52.39 And it swelled up my face. 00:03:52.43\00:03:54.20 I didn't know, I couldn't stop scratching it. 00:03:54.23\00:03:57.30 And it swelled up and so my eye shut 00:03:57.33\00:03:59.27 and it was pretty bad, not life threatening, 00:03:59.30\00:04:02.20 but it was pretty significant 'cause for some people like 00:04:02.24\00:04:04.81 it can be even worse than that. 00:04:04.84\00:04:06.21 We know there's all sorts of toxins 00:04:06.24\00:04:07.94 that people are allergic to. 00:04:07.98\00:04:10.18 I had a friend one time that actually was terribly allergy 00:04:10.21\00:04:13.68 to poison ivy and it got inside his lungs. 00:04:13.72\00:04:16.69 Can you imagine that inside his lung 00:04:16.72\00:04:18.05 and it was from a fire, they were burning poison ivy 00:04:18.09\00:04:20.59 and they got that toxin inside. 00:04:20.62\00:04:22.92 So, I mean, so the skin can have 00:04:22.96\00:04:25.16 a lot of different types of pain 00:04:25.19\00:04:26.53 and we had a few questions regarding skin 00:04:26.56\00:04:29.56 that we have to really get to, 00:04:29.60\00:04:30.93 before we run out of time here today. 00:04:30.97\00:04:32.47 That's right, these are the questions 00:04:32.50\00:04:33.84 that come in from the website at heartwiseministries.org. 00:04:33.87\00:04:36.44 And if you have a question that we don't get to today, 00:04:36.47\00:04:38.31 please go there and ask your question. 00:04:38.34\00:04:40.94 The first viewer ask, 00:04:40.98\00:04:43.38 "Can a rash be life threatening." 00:04:43.41\00:04:45.11 You know, I told you I had the poison ivy on my face, 00:04:45.15\00:04:46.75 that wasn't life threatening, 00:04:46.78\00:04:48.12 but can it ever be life threatening? 00:04:48.15\00:04:49.48 Yes, a rash can be life threatening 00:04:49.52\00:04:51.85 and usually a rash 00:04:51.89\00:04:53.22 is a gigantic immune response to some toxin. 00:04:53.25\00:04:56.42 So that's what, you know, sort of rash. 00:04:56.46\00:04:58.29 It might be an infectious toxin like the measles 00:04:58.33\00:05:01.93 and you know something up like that. 00:05:01.96\00:05:03.90 It might be like the toxin that you got with poison ivy, 00:05:03.93\00:05:07.97 the body responded with the immune reaction 00:05:08.00\00:05:10.64 just wants to get it well. 00:05:10.67\00:05:12.27 But usually in big terms there's some reactions 00:05:12.31\00:05:15.68 that turn on the immune system, the entire immune system 00:05:15.71\00:05:18.38 and the entire body gets a rash. 00:05:18.41\00:05:21.55 Those are very serious 00:05:21.58\00:05:23.25 when all the parts of you get a rash 00:05:23.28\00:05:25.05 because then the skin can't do its job 00:05:25.09\00:05:27.36 because there's no skin to do its job. 00:05:27.39\00:05:29.76 It's all rashed up entire body. 00:05:29.79\00:05:32.29 And there's a couple of ones that are out there, 00:05:32.33\00:05:34.56 they're all immune system, 00:05:34.60\00:05:35.93 one is called pemphigus vulgaris, 00:05:35.96\00:05:38.23 big name, you know, vulgaris that sounds bad 00:05:38.27\00:05:41.17 but it's based in autoimmune affecting the entire skin, 00:05:41.20\00:05:44.71 a rash on the entire body. 00:05:44.74\00:05:46.68 Sometimes certain antibiotic like reactions, you know, 00:05:46.71\00:05:50.75 you have a reaction to medication, 00:05:50.78\00:05:54.05 antibiotics like sulphur, Dilantin sometimes causes this, 00:05:54.08\00:05:58.95 certain viruses Epstein-Barr, cytomegalovirus, 00:05:58.99\00:06:02.56 they trigger this immune responses 00:06:02.59\00:06:04.36 that entire this reaction we called that 00:06:04.39\00:06:06.13 a Stevens-Johnson syndrome, 00:06:06.16\00:06:08.30 where the entire body ends up in a rash, 00:06:08.33\00:06:11.03 that can be life threatening 00:06:11.07\00:06:12.70 because you can't regulate infections, 00:06:12.73\00:06:15.07 you can't deal with your thermoregulatory, 00:06:15.10\00:06:17.21 and of course it's very, very uncomfortable. 00:06:17.24\00:06:20.18 Sometimes after a person gets a bone marrow transplant 00:06:20.21\00:06:24.51 or gets, you know, certain medicines, 00:06:24.55\00:06:26.95 they can have that, certain staph infections, 00:06:26.98\00:06:29.02 they're like a toxic, you know, 00:06:29.05\00:06:30.52 toxin reaction to staph infections, 00:06:30.55\00:06:32.89 toxic shock syndrome, but the bottom-line is 00:06:32.92\00:06:35.72 whenever a rash, whatever triggers it, 00:06:35.76\00:06:38.09 it covers large surface areas 00:06:38.13\00:06:40.33 that can be dangerous just like burns. 00:06:40.36\00:06:42.93 If you get a sunburn that does your entire body, 00:06:42.96\00:06:45.53 that's dangerous. 00:06:45.57\00:06:46.90 If you're in a fire that damages 00:06:46.94\00:06:48.30 your whole body, that's dangerous. 00:06:48.34\00:06:50.21 If you get poison ivy that damages a lots of skin, 00:06:50.24\00:06:53.11 that's dangerous. 00:06:53.14\00:06:54.48 Now if you get ticks or bites all over your body, 00:06:54.51\00:06:56.81 that could be dangerous 00:06:56.85\00:06:58.18 because it hurts large amount of your skin. 00:06:58.21\00:07:00.05 Your skin can't do its job 00:07:00.08\00:07:01.75 which is primarily keep toxins away, 00:07:01.78\00:07:04.05 regulate temperature, those important things. 00:07:04.09\00:07:06.19 And when it can't do your job, bad things can happen to you. 00:07:06.22\00:07:09.12 So what would you say is the appropriate action, 00:07:09.16\00:07:11.26 if you get a rash that you can't identity 00:07:11.29\00:07:13.63 or you get a rash that seems to be 00:07:13.66\00:07:15.83 larger than you think you can deal with? 00:07:15.86\00:07:17.87 Who do you go see? 00:07:17.90\00:07:19.23 Well, you know, a family physician can-- 00:07:19.27\00:07:21.60 And many of the rashes are self limiting, 00:07:21.64\00:07:23.74 you know, they don't-- 00:07:23.77\00:07:25.11 The doctor will come in, you will say, 00:07:25.14\00:07:26.47 oh, I have a rash and he will say well, 00:07:26.51\00:07:28.01 were you exposed to a toxin, were you outside, 00:07:28.04\00:07:30.61 did something bite you, they look for a bug bite. 00:07:30.65\00:07:33.01 And if it's not covering a large part of your body, 00:07:33.05\00:07:36.42 we know it's not gonna cause much damage. 00:07:36.45\00:07:38.55 You know the vitals are stable. 00:07:38.59\00:07:39.92 We might get in some local cream 00:07:39.95\00:07:41.82 and it's pretty much the body takes care of itself. 00:07:41.86\00:07:44.59 But in all these other 00:07:44.63\00:07:45.96 where it covers large parts of your body, 00:07:45.99\00:07:48.13 then that suggest a systemic reaction 00:07:48.16\00:07:51.23 and then just a history and physical, 00:07:51.27\00:07:53.34 you know, where you're around a drug 00:07:53.37\00:07:54.70 that you were exposed to that could have done this. 00:07:54.74\00:07:57.77 You know, did you have a recent medication 00:07:57.81\00:08:00.68 that could have damaged your entire skin, 00:08:00.71\00:08:02.71 those type of things. 00:08:02.74\00:08:04.08 If we still don't know, sometimes we go to, 00:08:04.11\00:08:06.41 refer to a specialist in skin to dermatologist. 00:08:06.45\00:08:10.62 And the dermatologist might take a biopsy 00:08:10.65\00:08:13.36 and from his experience because, of course 00:08:13.39\00:08:15.42 that's all he sees all day along is skin problems, 00:08:15.46\00:08:18.09 so he is an expert at skin 00:08:18.13\00:08:19.49 just like people come to me all the time with chest pain. 00:08:19.53\00:08:22.13 So I'm pretty good at sorting through chest pain. 00:08:22.16\00:08:24.70 Well, they are doggone good at sorting through rashes 00:08:24.73\00:08:27.27 and skin type problems. 00:08:27.30\00:08:29.14 So when you go to them, they sort of sort through, 00:08:29.17\00:08:30.94 but there are so many skin rashes 00:08:30.97\00:08:33.07 that are usually infections or some type of toxic agent 00:08:33.11\00:08:36.64 where the body responding to some type of stimuli 00:08:36.68\00:08:41.22 that turns on the immune system. 00:08:41.25\00:08:42.65 Right. 00:08:42.68\00:08:44.02 We got another question that's come in. 00:08:44.05\00:08:45.39 What are some natural treatments for skin-- 00:08:45.42\00:08:47.56 Skin conditions? Yeah. 00:08:47.59\00:08:48.92 We talked about the best one 00:08:48.96\00:08:50.36 and I might get a glass of water. 00:08:50.39\00:08:51.73 Little sip of high quality H2O right there. 00:08:51.76\00:08:53.70 High quality H2O. Nothing in, just pure water. 00:08:53.73\00:08:56.77 That's good 'cause that gives 00:08:56.80\00:08:58.13 the skin the things that it needs. 00:08:58.17\00:09:00.04 What else the skin's need? 00:09:00.07\00:09:01.64 You know, a lot of times when we have a skin problem, 00:09:01.67\00:09:04.81 unless it's a cancer or serious systemic problem, 00:09:04.84\00:09:08.58 it usually runs its course, okay. 00:09:08.61\00:09:11.75 You know, if it's an infection, 00:09:11.78\00:09:13.31 you want to treat the infection, 00:09:13.35\00:09:15.08 if it's due to a medication, 00:09:15.12\00:09:16.55 you want to remove the medication 00:09:16.58\00:09:17.92 and support the body with IV fluids 00:09:17.95\00:09:20.19 and whatever it needs 00:09:20.22\00:09:21.56 until you get over the rough spot. 00:09:21.59\00:09:23.63 But some naturals-- for instance for skin pain. 00:09:23.66\00:09:26.59 How about, we talked about sunburns, you know. 00:09:26.63\00:09:29.46 Anything, you know, of course, you know, we talk about, 00:09:29.50\00:09:31.87 you know, we don't want to get it, 00:09:31.90\00:09:33.23 so we put in our skin protection sunscreen, 00:09:33.27\00:09:35.57 but we also-- 00:09:35.60\00:09:37.17 Aloe vera is a very nice easy thing 00:09:37.21\00:09:39.74 that's on the skin, some even put some lidocaine in, 00:09:39.77\00:09:42.51 so it sooths the skin, so it doesn't hurt as much. 00:09:42.54\00:09:45.51 That's something that's good for skin pain. 00:09:45.55\00:09:48.55 Sometimes just resting your skin 00:09:48.58\00:09:50.69 is good for skin pain, getting clothed off the skin, 00:09:50.72\00:09:54.96 letting the skin breath is good for skin pains. 00:09:54.99\00:09:59.33 Some people for natural remedy they use willow bark. 00:09:59.36\00:10:02.86 Willow bark is an anti-inflammatory, 00:10:02.90\00:10:05.97 you know, aspirin, willow bark is an anti-inflammatory. 00:10:06.00\00:10:09.40 And whenever the skin is turning red, 00:10:09.44\00:10:10.97 we know there's inflammation, so this might help. 00:10:11.01\00:10:13.44 Anything that helps with inflammation 00:10:13.48\00:10:15.18 might help with that. 00:10:15.21\00:10:16.54 So ginger might help with that. 00:10:16.58\00:10:18.08 Turmeric which helps in inflammation 00:10:18.11\00:10:20.35 would help that type of pain. 00:10:20.38\00:10:23.22 Overseas in Europe 00:10:23.25\00:10:25.12 they use a natural substance called devil's claw. 00:10:25.15\00:10:28.39 They use that, they use devil's claw 00:10:28.42\00:10:29.96 sort of natural substance to help that. 00:10:29.99\00:10:31.69 Anything that helps the overall cells of the body. 00:10:31.73\00:10:34.46 Some people use magnesium they use that. 00:10:34.50\00:10:38.03 Some people use exercise 00:10:38.07\00:10:40.37 because it makes endorphins to help with skin pain. 00:10:40.40\00:10:43.54 Some people use massage. 00:10:43.57\00:10:45.47 You know how it is, you hits yourself real hard, 00:10:45.51\00:10:48.08 oh, it hurts, so what do you do? 00:10:48.11\00:10:49.58 You rub it, especially it's into the muscle, 00:10:49.61\00:10:52.31 you know, more muscle pain, 00:10:52.35\00:10:53.85 but massage is sort of a natural therapy 00:10:53.88\00:10:56.79 for skin pain. 00:10:56.82\00:10:58.29 In severe pain that short acting, 00:10:58.32\00:11:00.32 some people can take some type of Advil or anti-inflammatory 00:11:00.36\00:11:03.73 to get them over the hub until the body heals itself. 00:11:03.76\00:11:07.23 But remember most of these treatments 00:11:07.26\00:11:09.26 for acute skin pain is to sort of make you feel better 00:11:09.30\00:11:14.30 because pain itself is not good as we discussed 00:11:14.34\00:11:17.11 until your body can heal itself. 00:11:17.14\00:11:19.34 Now, for chronic skin pain, 00:11:19.37\00:11:21.21 conditions like cancer that's causing it, 00:11:21.24\00:11:24.01 other diseases that are causing it, 00:11:24.05\00:11:26.01 infections, lack of blood supply 00:11:26.05\00:11:28.48 or damage to nerves from diabetes, 00:11:28.52\00:11:30.62 then you want to get at the underlying cause 00:11:30.65\00:11:33.09 in addition to what's causing the pain. 00:11:33.12\00:11:35.56 So that sort of gives them everyone a general 00:11:35.59\00:11:37.79 or there are some natural things 00:11:37.83\00:11:39.16 that they can do to help with their skin. 00:11:39.19\00:11:41.06 I think Aloe vera really works good for just little rashes. 00:11:41.10\00:11:44.70 Some people, if it's bug bites, 00:11:44.73\00:11:46.53 okay, I've seen people like to use charcoal poultices. 00:11:46.57\00:11:49.54 You know, it helps pull out the poisons, 00:11:49.57\00:11:51.87 so the nerve isn't turned on as much, 00:11:51.91\00:11:53.78 so there's not as much pain as well. 00:11:53.81\00:11:55.51 You know, I've also seen if it's a bug bite 00:11:55.54\00:11:57.91 and it's hurting some people like to drain it, okay. 00:11:57.95\00:12:01.75 Now, some people have-- 00:12:01.78\00:12:03.65 We didn't even talk about this cause of skin pain 00:12:03.69\00:12:05.92 but acne, that can cause a lot of skin pain too, 00:12:05.95\00:12:10.16 especially in teenager so, you know, 00:12:10.19\00:12:12.09 the treatment for that is to remove oil 00:12:12.13\00:12:14.16 from the body and keep the skin clean, 00:12:14.20\00:12:16.77 keep the pores open. 00:12:16.80\00:12:18.93 And those are all sort of things 00:12:18.97\00:12:20.30 that can help with chronic skin conditions in the face. 00:12:20.34\00:12:23.84 Yeah, we've got one last question here, 00:12:23.87\00:12:26.94 talking about pharmaceutical treatments 00:12:26.98\00:12:28.88 and also the cancer cause-- 00:12:28.91\00:12:33.01 the pain caused by cancer, through cancer? 00:12:33.05\00:12:35.18 Skin cancer can cause pain and sometimes, you know, 00:12:35.22\00:12:37.85 of course the treatment is to get rid of the cancer, 00:12:37.89\00:12:40.52 cut it out, okay. 00:12:40.56\00:12:41.89 We talked about some of the characteristics 00:12:41.92\00:12:43.73 of skin cancers, irregular border, 00:12:43.76\00:12:46.16 change in color, raise, growing. 00:12:46.19\00:12:48.56 Some of the pharmaceutical treatments 00:12:48.60\00:12:50.23 we've also mentioned anything that's nonsteroidal can help. 00:12:50.27\00:12:54.40 Sometimes the pain is just really, really killing you. 00:12:54.44\00:12:56.91 We can numb it up with an injection, 00:12:56.94\00:12:59.07 lidocaine you know before procedure especially, 00:12:59.11\00:13:02.14 you know, you cut yourself with trauma, 00:13:02.18\00:13:04.18 you know, you need some stitches to sew it together. 00:13:04.21\00:13:06.68 Well lidocaine can numb the nerves 00:13:06.72\00:13:08.92 so you can sew it together, so it doesn't hurt. 00:13:08.95\00:13:11.29 Some people that has severe pain 00:13:11.32\00:13:13.89 that from medical condition sometimes they have TENS units 00:13:13.92\00:13:17.76 that sometimes help chronic pains. 00:13:17.79\00:13:19.89 In rare instances we might, if the inflammation of the skin 00:13:19.93\00:13:23.26 is real bad especially these rashes 00:13:23.30\00:13:25.43 that cover the entire body. 00:13:25.47\00:13:26.90 Sometimes we use some steroids 00:13:26.94\00:13:28.80 because the inflammation is so bad, 00:13:28.84\00:13:31.07 the inflammation itself is life threatening, 00:13:31.11\00:13:32.87 so sometimes we do that. 00:13:32.91\00:13:34.38 And in some people need a short course of narcotics, 00:13:34.41\00:13:37.25 if they have one of these bad skin reaction pains, 00:13:37.28\00:13:39.71 but I didn't say for long term, 00:13:39.75\00:13:41.45 just to knock down the pain, so that they can get 00:13:41.48\00:13:43.62 at the cause whether it be inflammation, 00:13:43.65\00:13:45.42 so the body will heal itself. 00:13:45.45\00:13:47.09 Yeah.
