Thank you for having me. 00:00:49.28\00:00:50.88 It's great to have you back here. 00:00:50.91\00:00:52.51 You're no stranger to the Dare to Dream Network 00:00:52.55\00:00:54.22 or the 3ABN Family. 00:00:54.25\00:00:55.58 Part of family. That's right. 00:00:55.62\00:00:56.95 That's right. Absolutely. 00:00:56.99\00:00:58.55 Now I did say that you had 00:00:58.59\00:01:00.79 a different title assistant administrator. 00:01:00.82\00:01:04.99 You know, before we dive into 00:01:05.03\00:01:07.40 what that entails and all of that. 00:01:07.43\00:01:09.06 I think we should find out a little bit more about 00:01:09.10\00:01:11.37 Wildwood Lifestyle Center. 00:01:11.40\00:01:12.77 Okay. 00:01:12.80\00:01:14.14 And we have a video that is going to show us 00:01:14.17\00:01:17.77 a little bit more about it. 00:01:17.81\00:01:19.14 So let's take a look at that now. 00:01:19.17\00:01:20.91 Okay. 00:01:20.94\00:01:22.28 How to help you is the difference. 00:01:22.31\00:01:25.51 That's what we do. 00:01:25.55\00:01:27.02 We hone in on you and we say, 00:01:27.05\00:01:29.02 how can we help you become 00:01:29.05\00:01:31.42 the healthy person you're looking to become? 00:01:31.45\00:01:34.19 That's why I truly feel honestly 00:01:34.22\00:01:36.26 that Wildwood is here, 00:01:36.29\00:01:38.86 not only for myself, 00:01:38.89\00:01:40.23 but for so many others who are in need of saying, 00:01:40.26\00:01:43.26 can I get some help? 00:01:43.30\00:01:44.90 I need some help. 00:01:44.93\00:01:46.27 Here at Wildwood Lifestyle Center, 00:01:55.41\00:01:57.51 I meet with the guests 00:01:57.55\00:01:58.88 on their first full day at Wildwood. 00:01:58.91\00:02:00.62 We evaluate their health conditions 00:02:00.65\00:02:02.18 and then come up 00:02:02.22\00:02:03.55 with a personalized treatment plan. 00:02:03.59\00:02:05.52 As an endocrinologist, 00:02:05.55\00:02:06.92 I see a number of diseases 00:02:06.96\00:02:08.99 that it can be prevented or treated 00:02:09.02\00:02:12.03 through lifestyle change. 00:02:12.06\00:02:13.40 And so lifestyle intervention, including adequate sleep, 00:02:13.43\00:02:17.60 but plant-based nutrition and physical activity 00:02:17.63\00:02:21.10 really make the foundation of care. 00:02:21.14\00:02:23.27 So, my job as a lifestyle coach at Wildwood Lifestyle Center 00:02:23.30\00:02:27.48 is to help people make goals. 00:02:27.51\00:02:30.15 So most people know what they want to achieve, 00:02:30.18\00:02:32.61 but how to get there can be a problem. 00:02:32.65\00:02:34.65 And that's when I come into the picture 00:02:34.68\00:02:37.49 and I get involved with the guests 00:02:37.52\00:02:40.46 in the way that I'm there with them in a daily basis. 00:02:40.49\00:02:43.79 So we make sure they are following the orders 00:02:43.83\00:02:45.89 that their physicians give. 00:02:45.93\00:02:47.70 And through that, through that process, 00:02:47.73\00:02:50.20 we take walks in the nature. 00:02:50.23\00:02:52.17 Ten thousand steps or more. 00:02:52.20\00:02:53.57 I make sure 00:02:53.60\00:02:54.94 that they are drinking their water. 00:02:54.97\00:02:56.74 So I'm that person that keep saying, go, go, go. 00:02:56.77\00:02:59.17 And so most people need that. 00:02:59.21\00:03:01.04 They need that extra push. 00:03:01.08\00:03:02.44 And I'm the person that gives it. 00:03:02.48\00:03:03.81 While, growing up, 00:03:03.85\00:03:05.18 I saw my dad changed his lifestyle. 00:03:05.21\00:03:06.92 He started exercising 00:03:06.95\00:03:08.45 and he switched to a plant-based diet. 00:03:08.48\00:03:10.42 After doing that, 00:03:10.45\00:03:11.79 his triglyceride levels came down substantially 00:03:11.82\00:03:14.69 and he lost weight. 00:03:14.72\00:03:16.19 So a dietary pattern 00:03:16.22\00:03:18.19 that is abundant and nutrient dense foods 00:03:18.23\00:03:21.86 like fruits and vegetables and whole grains, 00:03:21.90\00:03:25.40 beans, and nuts. 00:03:25.43\00:03:26.84 It can strengthen your immune system 00:03:26.87\00:03:28.84 to help your body to fight disease. 00:03:28.87\00:03:31.04 What we do here in the teaching kitchen 00:03:31.07\00:03:33.58 is take our guests in their journey 00:03:33.61\00:03:36.21 from here at the lifestyle center, 00:03:36.24\00:03:38.55 all the way home, 00:03:38.58\00:03:39.91 learning practical applications 00:03:39.95\00:03:42.08 to be able to transition to a healthier diet, 00:03:42.12\00:03:45.42 a plant-based diet that is simple, 00:03:45.45\00:03:48.56 nutritious, and delicious. 00:03:48.59\00:03:50.53 And before you need the program, 00:03:50.56\00:03:51.89 I will sit down with you, 00:03:51.93\00:03:53.26 and we'll work menu together 00:03:53.29\00:03:55.46 that's personalized to your culture 00:03:55.50\00:03:57.47 and your habits, 00:03:57.50\00:03:58.83 and will support your condition. 00:03:58.87\00:04:01.00 We will make healthy eating 00:04:01.04\00:04:03.07 as simple and as practical as possible. 00:04:03.10\00:04:07.08 Most people, they see a disconnect 00:04:07.11\00:04:10.35 between their physical health and their mental health. 00:04:10.38\00:04:14.32 My role is to help them to see the entire picture. 00:04:14.35\00:04:18.95 We are a three sphere dimensional, 00:04:18.99\00:04:22.12 kind of being the mind, 00:04:22.16\00:04:24.83 the body and the spirit all are connected. 00:04:24.86\00:04:27.96 While the spiritual part comes in 00:04:28.00\00:04:30.27 by helping people to have hope in it, 00:04:30.30\00:04:32.63 because when you connect with the Lord, 00:04:32.67\00:04:35.20 there's hope, there's encouragement, 00:04:35.24\00:04:37.14 there's joy. 00:04:37.17\00:04:38.51 And they feel like 00:04:38.54\00:04:39.87 not only do I have strength for today, 00:04:39.91\00:04:42.14 I could face what's coming tomorrow. 00:04:42.18\00:04:43.78 When someone is depressed, 00:04:43.81\00:04:45.51 it's hard for them to do even the basic little things, 00:04:45.55\00:04:49.05 like get up out of bed, 00:04:49.08\00:04:51.42 go for the walks, 00:04:51.45\00:04:52.85 drink their juice or their teas, eat a salad. 00:04:52.89\00:04:56.56 And so when you're encouraged, 00:04:56.59\00:04:58.96 then they're motivated to do all the things that are needed. 00:04:58.99\00:05:01.93 If their mental health has impacted their life, 00:05:01.96\00:05:05.20 their social life, their relational lives, 00:05:05.23\00:05:08.90 we set goals together to emphasize 00:05:08.94\00:05:11.84 how they can improve those areas of their lives. 00:05:11.87\00:05:14.64 When people set goals and they achieve them. 00:05:14.68\00:05:16.91 That makes me so happy. And it happens so often. 00:05:16.95\00:05:19.78 What I like to see the patients feeling better 00:05:19.81\00:05:22.55 and here at Wildwood Lifestyle Center, 00:05:22.58\00:05:24.95 I see the guests, their numbers improving, 00:05:24.99\00:05:28.46 their weight is typically going in the direction you want it to 00:05:28.49\00:05:31.63 by the end of this day, 00:05:31.66\00:05:33.23 blood pressures come down 00:05:33.26\00:05:34.63 and blood sugars can happen to come into target. 00:05:34.66\00:05:37.37 And here they can reduce their medications 00:05:37.40\00:05:39.67 during their stay. 00:05:39.70\00:05:41.04 And they are motivated enough 00:05:41.07\00:05:43.17 so that when they go back home 00:05:43.20\00:05:45.61 having experienced the changes they had here, 00:05:45.64\00:05:49.41 they will continue doing at home 00:05:49.44\00:05:51.81 what they learned here. 00:05:51.85\00:05:53.18 And then when the guests leave, I keep in touch with them, 00:05:53.21\00:05:57.32 so when someone, 00:05:57.35\00:05:58.69 I talked to someone one month later 00:05:58.72\00:06:00.19 or three months later, 00:06:00.22\00:06:01.66 and they are just praising God, 00:06:01.69\00:06:03.76 not only were they happy 00:06:03.79\00:06:05.13 'cause they start getting results 00:06:05.16\00:06:06.49 while they're here, but they continued 00:06:06.53\00:06:08.43 and they're praising God. 00:06:08.46\00:06:09.96 And their health is improving physically, 00:06:10.00\00:06:12.80 mentally and spiritually. 00:06:12.83\00:06:14.87 Honestly, if you're struggling come. 00:06:14.90\00:06:19.27 I would say come, 00:06:19.31\00:06:21.71 look into a new way of thinking, 00:06:21.74\00:06:27.15 a new way of living, 00:06:27.18\00:06:29.02 a new way of seeing the new normal 00:06:29.05\00:06:30.82 of what could be. 00:06:30.85\00:06:32.79 Come, we're here to assist you 00:06:32.82\00:06:36.16 towards your healthy goals. 00:06:36.19\00:06:38.13 Come, I think when you're feeling 00:06:38.16\00:06:41.56 that I am my sickness, 00:06:41.60\00:06:44.47 you know, when you have that feeling 00:06:44.50\00:06:46.23 that this will never change, 00:06:46.27\00:06:47.77 then I don't, I don't know what to do. 00:06:47.80\00:06:50.41 That is the place where we say, you don't have to do it alone. 00:06:50.44\00:06:53.91 Come, we are here. 00:07:00.38\00:07:02.78 I am a living proof when I say 00:07:02.82\00:07:05.39 it is good to have someone look at you 00:07:05.42\00:07:09.02 and say, how can we help you? 00:07:09.06\00:07:11.63 Not just, hey, that's how, this is how we help diabetics. 00:07:11.66\00:07:14.76 No, this is how we help cancer patients. 00:07:14.80\00:07:16.67 No, this is how we help you. 00:07:16.70\00:07:19.57 You and who you are 00:07:19.60\00:07:20.94 and what you're going through 00:07:20.97\00:07:22.54 and try to help you towards the journey 00:07:22.57\00:07:24.74 of having hope and a better tomorrow. 00:07:24.77\00:07:28.11 Wow. It took a lot. 00:10:19.98\00:10:21.78 So some days it's not just about, 00:10:21.82\00:10:23.59 hey guys, are we getting it done? 00:10:23.62\00:10:25.35 It's how are you doing? How's your mom? 00:10:25.39\00:10:28.06 You know, how are you functioning today? 00:10:28.09\00:10:30.93 It's different. It's investing in your people. 00:10:30.96\00:10:33.23 It really is, you know, you're finding out 00:10:33.26\00:10:35.36 how can you learn to work? 00:10:35.40\00:10:36.73 What is your love language? 00:10:36.77\00:10:38.10 What is your learning style? 00:10:38.13\00:10:39.67 And you having to be patient to realize, 00:10:39.70\00:10:41.77 well, one person, I may have to divulge 00:10:41.80\00:10:43.41 a whole hour to talk to them about certain things 00:10:43.44\00:10:45.41 where another, I can give them 10 minutes off. 00:10:45.44\00:10:47.38 Yes. 00:10:47.41\00:10:48.74 You're learning to change your mindset 00:10:48.78\00:10:51.21 of what it is to be a leader or be. 00:10:51.25\00:10:53.72 So for me, assistant administrator 00:10:53.75\00:10:56.72 from integration director, where I was before, 00:10:56.75\00:10:59.55 I was like, okay, just meet the needs of the client, 00:10:59.59\00:11:01.32 make sure the policies and procedures are up, 00:11:01.36\00:11:03.73 but I didn't have to think so much 00:11:03.76\00:11:05.29 about my staff until now. 00:11:05.33\00:11:07.66 And so now I have to make sure 00:11:07.70\00:11:09.30 that my first clientele is my staff 00:11:09.33\00:11:11.37 and that they're being... 00:11:11.40\00:11:12.73 Their needs are being met. 00:11:12.77\00:11:14.10 So even with them, 00:11:14.14\00:11:15.47 you have that customizable plan? 00:11:15.50\00:11:16.84 Oh, you have to. 00:11:16.87\00:11:18.21 You have to. And it's... 00:11:18.24\00:11:20.11 And if you think about it, 00:11:20.14\00:11:21.98 it brings you closer to Christ 00:11:22.01\00:11:23.35 because you don't have all the answers. 00:11:23.38\00:11:24.71 Yes. 00:11:24.75\00:11:26.08 You learn how to pray more, you know? 00:11:26.11\00:11:28.25 And it's made me stop saying my team and my work. 00:11:28.28\00:11:33.25 Now it's our team, you know, our work. 00:11:33.29\00:11:35.99 I love that. So... 00:11:36.02\00:11:37.36 How do you manage all of this? 00:11:37.39\00:11:39.46 How do you manage all these responsibilities? 00:11:39.49\00:11:43.37 Jesus. Amen. 00:11:43.40\00:11:44.77 And this is why I need an assistant as well. 00:11:44.80\00:11:47.10 But honestly it's really about time management. 00:11:47.14\00:11:49.87 Honestly, and I struggled with that. 00:11:49.90\00:11:52.31 It was a difference 00:11:52.34\00:11:53.68 when I was the integration director. 00:11:53.71\00:11:55.44 I had somebody tell me what to do. 00:11:55.48\00:11:56.88 I'm good at taking your vision 00:11:56.91\00:11:58.41 and I know how to make it happen. 00:11:58.45\00:12:00.15 And so now in coming to this position, 00:12:00.18\00:12:02.48 I'm learning time management, 00:12:02.52\00:12:04.42 where I have to prioritize what is the right thing. 00:12:04.45\00:12:07.19 So I first keep mindful of my staff 00:12:07.22\00:12:10.13 and then the client. 00:12:10.16\00:12:11.49 And when you start putting those things into order, 00:12:11.53\00:12:13.36 it helps out greatly. 00:12:13.40\00:12:16.20 2020... 2020. 00:12:16.23\00:12:18.23 Has been a year. 00:12:18.27\00:12:20.20 I mean, there's so many different words 00:12:20.24\00:12:21.77 you could use for 2020. 00:12:21.80\00:12:23.14 And all of them have pretty much been used, 00:12:23.17\00:12:26.78 you know, from an unprecedented year 00:12:26.81\00:12:28.78 to all of these things. 00:12:28.81\00:12:30.55 But how has Wildwood dealt 00:12:30.58\00:12:33.75 with the pandemic? 00:12:33.78\00:12:38.05 We took a hit, 00:12:38.09\00:12:39.42 you know, and finding out 00:12:39.45\00:12:42.89 that we're health institution, 00:12:42.92\00:12:44.26 just like a hospital, 00:12:44.29\00:12:45.63 but because we're a smaller institution, 00:12:45.66\00:12:48.13 we couldn't get mask, 00:12:48.16\00:12:49.50 we couldn't get hand sanitizers. 00:12:49.53\00:12:50.87 The things we normally wouldn't buy 00:12:50.90\00:12:52.23 in bulk, they saved it directly for hospitals. 00:12:52.27\00:12:54.70 So that was a little difficult for us in the beginning, 00:12:54.74\00:12:57.01 a $5 box for a mask turned into $50. 00:12:57.04\00:13:01.04 And then you had the travel restrictions 00:13:01.08\00:13:03.21 and then you had the people having fear of coming out. 00:13:03.24\00:13:06.05 So there was a lot that hit us all at once. 00:13:06.08\00:13:09.48 You know, some of our even workers 00:13:09.52\00:13:12.09 and students got locked out 00:13:12.12\00:13:13.69 when they would go on mission trips and do things 00:13:13.72\00:13:15.39 where they couldn't come back into the country. 00:13:15.42\00:13:17.16 You know, they started really having issue 00:13:17.19\00:13:18.96 with visas now. 00:13:18.99\00:13:20.33 And so some people had to leave 00:13:20.36\00:13:22.03 and it was a hit on us. 00:13:22.06\00:13:25.07 COVID took us by storm. 00:13:25.10\00:13:26.84 However, God was not shocked. 00:13:26.87\00:13:29.70 He was not unprepared. Amen. 00:13:29.74\00:13:31.57 Wildwood is a whole entity. 00:13:31.61\00:13:33.98 So we have our industries, we have our farm, 00:13:34.01\00:13:36.48 we have our store, we have our school. 00:13:36.51\00:13:38.78 So we still was able to keep our lifestyle center open. 00:13:38.81\00:13:42.15 We have our clinic. 00:13:42.18\00:13:43.65 God blessed us that 00:13:43.69\00:13:45.02 people still wanted to come 00:13:45.05\00:13:47.69 and then join our observer program, 00:13:47.72\00:13:49.66 our medical observer program. 00:13:49.69\00:13:51.03 So we had medical professionals and health educators 00:13:51.06\00:13:53.56 who still wanted to learn our method of healing 00:13:53.60\00:13:56.06 and take it back to their industry. 00:13:56.10\00:13:58.23 So we still had that going on with the outpatient clinic. 00:13:58.27\00:14:01.14 If people didn't want to come, no problem. 00:14:01.17\00:14:03.34 We had telemedicine, 00:14:03.37\00:14:04.87 so they can virtually talk to our providers. 00:14:04.91\00:14:07.08 And for those who could not come 00:14:07.11\00:14:08.71 to a lifestyle program, 00:14:08.74\00:14:10.08 we really wanted to create something 00:14:10.11\00:14:11.61 and it was called overcoming diabetes program. 00:14:11.65\00:14:14.18 Wow. So that's virtually as well. 00:14:14.22\00:14:15.75 So you saw on a video, we had our endocrinologist, 00:14:15.78\00:14:18.72 our nutritionist speak to them 00:14:18.75\00:14:20.09 and we give them four coaching sessions, 00:14:20.12\00:14:22.16 how to apply in their home. 00:14:22.19\00:14:23.53 Wow. 00:14:23.56\00:14:24.89 So we really kept up, 00:14:24.93\00:14:26.26 God really blessed us, honestly. 00:14:26.29\00:14:28.26 So the adaptability was there? 00:14:28.30\00:14:29.96 It was there, that we did have to make some changes. 00:14:30.00\00:14:32.83 Now everyone have to wear a mask 00:14:32.87\00:14:34.94 to come into our building 00:14:34.97\00:14:36.47 or at least be into the program or work in our building. 00:14:36.50\00:14:38.54 Or at Wildwood, 00:14:38.57\00:14:39.91 you have to have a negative COVID test. 00:14:39.94\00:14:41.28 Okay. 00:14:41.31\00:14:42.64 We had to buy full garbs 00:14:42.68\00:14:44.21 to be able to check people coming into our clinic. 00:14:44.25\00:14:46.08 So everyone, every day, every guest and every worker 00:14:46.11\00:14:49.18 gets their temperature checked, get the questionnaire 00:14:49.22\00:14:51.75 because, of course, 00:14:51.79\00:14:53.12 we still have to let people out. 00:14:53.15\00:14:54.49 We can't lock them in. Yeah. 00:14:54.52\00:14:55.86 But if they go to our store 00:14:55.89\00:14:57.23 or if they have to go downtown 00:14:57.26\00:14:58.59 for any kind of extra services, 00:14:58.63\00:14:59.96 we can't provide, we still have to check them 00:15:00.00\00:15:02.03 just to make sure 00:15:02.06\00:15:03.40 that they're not bringing anything back. 00:15:03.43\00:15:04.77 So we have adapted and changed to that 00:15:04.80\00:15:07.64 to try to meet the CDCs, 00:15:07.67\00:15:09.17 you know, rules and regulations, 00:15:09.20\00:15:11.34 our educational system, 00:15:11.37\00:15:12.71 even when, even in our building as much as possible, 00:15:12.74\00:15:14.84 trying to keep six feet apart. 00:15:14.88\00:15:16.71 So we're trying to do our best. 00:15:16.75\00:15:18.08 Yeah. 00:15:18.11\00:15:19.45 So those are some of the safety precautions 00:15:19.48\00:15:20.82 that were put in place 00:15:20.85\00:15:22.18 to keep the organization and the clients safe. 00:15:22.22\00:15:24.72 Yeah, for sure. 00:15:24.75\00:15:27.02 What are some of the challenges that you face? 00:15:27.06\00:15:30.29 Honestly, it really was... 00:15:30.33\00:15:33.80 Which just turned out to be a blessing. 00:15:33.83\00:15:35.76 It really was working with a smaller staff. 00:15:35.80\00:15:39.37 Again, like I said, when we are doing mission trips 00:15:39.40\00:15:41.47 and going out, 00:15:41.50\00:15:42.87 and we do have volunteers 00:15:42.90\00:15:44.67 whose come from other countries to work with us. 00:15:44.71\00:15:46.88 When they had to go home because of the borders closing 00:15:46.91\00:15:49.84 or being locked out and couldn't come back in. 00:15:49.88\00:15:52.71 Well, that changed our numbers. 00:15:52.75\00:15:55.25 But God has blessed that we were able to learn 00:15:55.28\00:15:57.82 how to cross train even more. 00:15:57.85\00:15:59.55 Now this even more. 00:15:59.59\00:16:01.22 So myself is washing dishes 00:16:01.26\00:16:03.59 or, you know, helping out in housekeeping even more. 00:16:03.63\00:16:07.50 But that's some of the challenges, 00:16:07.53\00:16:09.16 but within those challenges, 00:16:09.20\00:16:11.33 we decided to come up with new ways, newer ways, 00:16:11.37\00:16:14.37 let's say that to meet the needs 00:16:14.40\00:16:16.87 and our needs 00:16:16.91\00:16:18.24 are to make sure that 00:16:18.27\00:16:19.61 we're filling the organization's stand 00:16:19.64\00:16:20.98 on utilizing our skills resource for Christ. 00:16:21.01\00:16:23.88 And so we've come up with new projects 00:16:23.91\00:16:25.91 to deal with the challenges, 00:16:25.95\00:16:27.28 if we don't have enough guests coming in, 00:16:27.32\00:16:29.05 how can we still meet the need? 00:16:29.08\00:16:30.42 Which God has blessed us. 00:16:30.45\00:16:31.79 We even got up to 18. 00:16:31.82\00:16:33.15 Wow, praise the Lord. Yes. 00:18:21.90\00:18:24.07 We even have a group. 00:18:24.10\00:18:25.43 If people say, I don't have enough money to do individual, 00:18:25.47\00:18:28.37 you know, meeting with the provider. 00:18:28.40\00:18:30.01 Well, you can have people who are all diabetics, 00:18:30.04\00:18:32.57 you can interact together and have question and answer 00:18:32.61\00:18:34.71 and meet your needs from that point of view. 00:18:34.74\00:18:37.01 We have our follow-up program 00:18:37.05\00:18:38.38 where's before we were having another institution 00:18:38.41\00:18:41.25 do our follow-up for us. 00:18:41.28\00:18:42.62 Now we're doing the follow-up 00:18:42.65\00:18:44.02 and we're keeping up with our guests. 00:18:44.05\00:18:45.45 Wow. 00:18:45.49\00:18:46.82 So they will just constantly know that 00:18:46.86\00:18:48.19 we're on tune with them. 00:18:48.22\00:18:49.56 And one get help with the heart 00:18:49.59\00:18:50.93 is our in-home training program. 00:18:50.96\00:18:52.83 Nice. Yes. 00:19:37.54\00:19:39.74 So talk to us now 00:19:39.77\00:19:41.61 about Project 144 Referral Agency. 00:19:41.64\00:19:45.21 We've done a whole program on it before. 00:19:45.25\00:19:47.62 I know. 00:19:47.65\00:19:48.98 But just in case people miss that, 00:19:49.02\00:19:51.15 just bring us up to speed with what's going on. 00:19:51.19\00:19:52.52 Real quick. 00:19:52.55\00:19:53.89 So Project 144 is taking health educators 00:19:53.92\00:19:56.93 who are trained in natural remedies 00:19:56.96\00:20:00.30 and also want to utilize their skills 00:20:00.33\00:20:01.96 to reach souls for Christ. 00:20:02.00\00:20:03.33 We're trying to connect them with people in their homes 00:20:03.37\00:20:05.67 or over the phone. 00:20:05.70\00:20:07.20 However, they may need 00:20:07.24\00:20:08.57 where they even do home visits 00:20:08.60\00:20:09.94 if need be and not just stay in. 00:20:09.97\00:20:12.11 We're trying to do that. 00:20:12.14\00:20:13.78 Now I will admit COVID took a toll on us. 00:20:13.81\00:20:16.81 You know, many people were very fearful. 00:20:16.85\00:20:18.61 And then other people like come to my home, 00:20:18.65\00:20:20.45 but then it was hard 00:20:20.48\00:20:22.02 to find people to go to the homes. 00:20:22.05\00:20:24.72 COVID really just changed a lot of things with travel 00:20:24.75\00:20:28.49 'cause a lot of people didn't want to take tests. 00:20:28.52\00:20:31.06 And so that was a huge big thing. 00:20:31.09\00:20:33.06 And then a personal situation happened 00:20:33.09\00:20:36.00 where my brother got sick 00:20:36.03\00:20:37.37 and then he passed away from COVID, 00:20:37.40\00:20:40.60 and I just needed to take a break. 00:20:40.64\00:20:43.51 So I actually paused on the agency 00:20:43.54\00:20:46.61 between around July 00:20:46.64\00:20:48.88 to at least by the beginning of January of this year. 00:20:48.91\00:20:52.91 But when I came back, 00:20:52.95\00:20:54.28 I tell you, me and the Lord really bounced back 00:20:54.32\00:20:56.08 and said, okay, you can't crack. 00:20:56.12\00:20:58.45 Jesus is coming soon. I know He is. 00:20:58.49\00:21:00.26 So I know there are gonna be changes 00:21:00.29\00:21:02.22 and many things will happen in my family. 00:21:02.26\00:21:04.89 How do I continue to finish the work? 00:21:04.93\00:21:07.23 He blessed me with people to come on staff 00:21:07.26\00:21:09.76 to help finish the work. 00:21:09.80\00:21:11.13 And He started blessing me with people to say, 00:21:11.17\00:21:12.50 hey, I need work. 00:21:12.53\00:21:13.87 Hey, I need a person. 00:21:13.90\00:21:15.24 And it was just connecting back to back. 00:21:15.27\00:21:17.11 And then, so it's been a blessing right now. 00:21:17.14\00:21:19.87 So if this in-home program starts, 00:21:19.91\00:21:23.24 I got some more workers. 00:21:23.28\00:21:24.91 That's right. That is awesome. 00:21:24.95\00:21:28.68 I'm sorry to hear about your brother as well. 00:21:28.72\00:21:30.09 Thank you. You're welcome. 00:21:30.12\00:21:32.19 And that's a hard thing is how do you bounce back? 00:21:32.22\00:21:35.09 Right. That's very tough. 00:21:35.12\00:21:36.76 Right. 00:21:36.79\00:21:38.13 How are you able to balance all of this Project 144 00:21:38.16\00:21:43.06 and being the assistant administrator at Wildwood? 00:21:43.10\00:21:47.77 It hasn't been easy 00:21:47.80\00:21:49.14 which is why you hire more people to try to help out. 00:21:49.17\00:21:52.14 And be the overseer, 00:21:52.17\00:21:53.51 so you can keep the vision, you know? 00:21:53.54\00:21:56.48 It hasn't been easy, I won't lie to you. 00:21:56.51\00:21:58.81 But God has been really keeping it that. 00:21:58.85\00:22:02.25 He's given me dedicated people to help me. 00:22:02.28\00:22:04.72 And so the stress hasn't been on me. 00:22:04.75\00:22:06.62 I have a phenomenal staff at Wildwood. 00:22:06.65\00:22:09.09 I'm telling you, people are saying, 00:22:09.12\00:22:10.46 "Raven, you're doing a great job." 00:22:10.49\00:22:11.83 Oh no, no, no. 00:22:11.86\00:22:13.19 My staff is doing a great job. 00:22:13.23\00:22:15.13 And I think that's what makes it easier for me, you know? 00:22:15.16\00:22:19.17 So at this point, 00:22:19.20\00:22:20.54 that's how I'm doing it 00:22:20.57\00:22:21.90 because of Jesus giving me wonderful people 00:22:21.94\00:22:23.97 that He's working through 00:22:24.01\00:22:25.41 and they're doing their part and it makes it easier on me. 00:22:25.44\00:22:28.61 Teamwork makes the dream work. 00:22:28.64\00:22:29.98 You know.
