ministering to six Presidents

how do you travel the world

or how do you meet
some of the most amazing

personalities of
the 20th Century,

I was blessed to be
able to do all those things,

but what God showed me was

that those were
moments of destiny

for which I was created
but they're not the reason

that for us a bit.

In other words, it
was not the purpose

reason for which I was created,

to resemble, reflect, and
reveal the character of God.

is that important?

Well, first of
all, we were created

in the image of God,
which means that we were created

to reflect the character of God,

the character of
God is the glory of God.

Hmmm... so when we hear
something about the glory of God

it's synonymous
with the character.

example, when Moses cried out,

God didn't show him fireworks

about His character,

the character of
God is the glory of God

so when we seek to lighten
the world with the glory of God,

we are seeking
to lighten the world

Hmmm... and how is that
connected to our destiny?

the ultimate destiny

buying the best

it, you say to yourself,

So, your point is so well taken

I've always admired people

arrived on the stage of history

just at the right moment and
accomplished incredible things,

and I've lived many
of those moments myself,

I remember
singing, "Amazing Grace"

and Mother Theresa, beckoning

to get up out of her wheelchair,
so she can hug me and thank me

that's a moment
of destiny. Yes, yes.

You know, I remember,
singing "Amazing Grace"

and to my left is Mrs. Rabin,

and to my right is,
her nemesis, Yasser Arafat,

and I'm in the middle
singing, "Amazing Grace"

That's appropriate.

That's a moment,
that is a moment,

why the most fiery,

sermon Jesus ever preached,

was not to confirm
sinners but to the most devout,

religious people of
His day, the Pharisees,

and they were the
preachers of their day,

they were the
evangelists of their day,

they were well
respected in their day,

they actually would study
the Scriptures with people,

like our evangelists do,

then they would
baptize them by immersion,

when you came up
out of the water,

you were a new Jew,
you were a new member

but Jesus said of them,

were doing good stuff,

And then the Lord showed me,

what Jesus was
really saying to them was,

to make these new
proselytes, these new members,

but when you're
through with them,

they look more like you

they are cultural clones

a bit about choices

of the choices that you make.

Well, again, we know that in
terms of your physical destiny,

and those moments of destiny

choices are very
important, and the choices come

to the Spirit of

and He will tell you

one of the things

about is that we don't study

about the character of God,

we know about the
aspects, Omnipotent, Omniscient,

Omnipresent, right?
but the character of God,

what are the attributes
of the character of God?

First of all, you are
an awesome interviewer,

you're asking just
the right questions,

That's why we pray first,

we ask the Lord, "Please give me
the questions" the Lord is good.

So, in answer to that question,

that's one of the first
things I said, "God... "

"Show me your glory"

get this, and He handed me a key

and this was the key,

and whatever God asks
you to be, He already is

and He is so in

that's His character,

He would never ask you
to be, what He's not. "

So now, as I go
through the Word of God,

and I studied the Word,

I was coming up with all
these enlightened dimensions

of the character of
God, I'd never seen before

because there's no Scripture
that says, "God is happy"

it says... well,
the Scripture says,

"He rejoices" but
the Scriptures just say,

"He wants you to be happy"

He would never ask you to be

what He's not,

so, you can
conclude, "God is happy"

there's no Scripture
that says, "God is cheerful"

and that's probably
why a lot of Christians
