Hello, and welcome to 3abn's new network-Dare to Dream and 00:00:23.38\00:00:28.23 to Urban Report. My name is Yvonne Lewis and I am your host 00:00:28.27\00:00:31.91 for Urban Report and today we have a really special program 00:00:31.95\00:00:35.56 for you. I am honored to have as my guest and co-host, 00:00:35.59\00:00:41.03 hopefully, Danny Shelton-the Founder and Special Consultant 00:00:41.06\00:00:47.71 for Three Angels' Broadcasting Network. Dr. Lewis, this is a 00:00:47.74\00:00:51.03 very exciting moment for not only for you and Dare to Dream 00:00:51.06\00:00:56.48 3abn but even me personally and to see this network become a 00:00:56.51\00:01:00.96 reality and that's what we are going to be talking about today 00:01:00.99\00:01:04.06 on this Urban Report is Dare to Dream. Absolutely. 00:01:04.15\00:01:07.31 Tell me because you are such a visionary and I think many of 00:01:07.35\00:01:10.74 viewers-they know you better than they know me and then some 00:01:10.78\00:01:14.14 have never seen you before. Tell us briefly if you would, 00:01:14.18\00:01:18.10 just how did the urban network come to be. It came to our 00:01:18.14\00:01:21.68 Board a number of years ago. We actually considered it- 00:01:21.72\00:01:25.22 and actually started it, made preparations for it, and then 00:01:25.26\00:01:29.16 somehow it just got sidetracked and then about a year or two ago 00:01:29.20\00:01:33.07 a young lady by the name- Dr. Yvonne Lewis came to 3abn 00:01:33.11\00:01:37.16 by invitation of C.A. Murray and you and I, I interviewed you 00:01:37.20\00:01:42.01 and we began to talk about the needs of the inner cities and I 00:01:42.05\00:01:46.53 saw that you had the vision and you were willing to make some 00:01:46.57\00:01:50.48 sacrifices and literally changes in your life and moves and 00:01:50.52\00:01:53.95 whatever it took, -there is a song, "Whatever it takes for 00:01:53.98\00:01:57.38 for my will to break, that's what I'll be willing to do and 00:01:57.41\00:01:59.99 then-it says, take my houses and lands, change my dreams and 00:02:00.03\00:02:03.20 my plans for I'm placing my whole life in your hands. 00:02:03.23\00:02:05.93 Dr. Lewis was willing to do that and thank you so much for your 00:02:05.96\00:02:09.52 your accepting the invitation because of you, we now have a 00:02:09.55\00:02:13.10 network-Dare to Dream has already been on the computer 00:02:13.14\00:02:16.01 but now we are on satellite literally going to be seen in 00:02:16.05\00:02:19.51 many places around the world and so thank you for allowing me to 00:02:19.54\00:02:22.98 be here with you today and you're going to be introducing 00:02:23.02\00:02:25.26 a lot of the different new programs right? Yeah. In fact we 00:02:25.29\00:02:27.51 are going to do-like a little tease today and just let the 00:02:27.55\00:02:31.27 viewers know what's to come on Dare to Dream so that they can 00:02:31.39\00:02:33.93 tune in. The first thing that we are going to look at is 00:02:33.96\00:02:37.98 "Did you know?" spot and actually what that is is we're 00:02:38.01\00:02:42.15 going to look at various contributions that have been 00:02:42.19\00:02:45.86 made by different people to society that a lot of people 00:02:45.89\00:02:49.50 don't know about. So let's take a look at it. "Did you know?" 00:02:49.53\00:02:52.47 Music playing... 00:02:52.50\00:02:53.63 When you plug your printer into your PC, think of Mark Dean. 00:02:53.66\00:03:04.84 He was born on March 2, 1957 in 00:03:04.87\00:03:08.65 Jeffersen City, Tennessee. Growing up, he was a straight A 00:03:08.68\00:03:12.18 student and an outstanding athlete. In College, he 00:03:12.21\00:03:15.24 graduated at the top of his class and went on to earn a PhD 00:03:15.27\00:03:19.53 in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. In 1997, 00:03:19.57\00:03:23.53 Dr. Dean received the Black Engineer of the year President's 00:03:23.56\00:03:27.11 Award, was inducted into the National Inventors' Hall of Fame 00:03:27.15\00:03:30.67 and was named an IBM Fellow-the highest technical honor awarded 00:03:30.70\00:03:34.37 by the company. He devised the Color Graphics Adapter which 00:03:34.41\00:03:37.98 allows color to be displayed on the PC. He holds more than 00:03:38.02\00:03:41.67 20 patents. Did you know that Mark Dean and Dennis Moller 00:03:41.86\00:03:45.07 developed a component that allowed multiple peripheral 00:03:45.10\00:03:48.28 devices such as printers and modems to be connected to a PC? 00:03:48.32\00:03:51.99 Did you know that Dr. Mark Dean dared to dream and owns 3 of the 00:03:52.02\00:03:55.66 9 patents that all PCs are based upon? Well, now you know. 00:03:55.70\00:04:00.13 I love this spot. The thing that I love is that we want 00:04:00.16\00:04:04.52 our children to be able to look and see other minorities that 00:04:04.56\00:04:08.92 have made contributions and they might not have been taught what 00:04:08.95\00:04:12.69 they've contributed. So this is really good-and I am excited 00:04:12.73\00:04:16.04 about the "Did you Know" spot. That's great and I love it and 00:04:16.08\00:04:18.99 you have a lot of those coming up and it is true that a lot of 00:04:19.02\00:04:21.90 times, we have no idea, the contributions that have been 00:04:21.93\00:04:25.39 made by people and somebody said to me, "Well, is this just a 00:04:25.43\00:04:28.36 minority thing or what?" and I said, "Well, kind of yes," you 00:04:28.40\00:04:31.67 know. What's wrong with that?" We want to let everybody to see 00:04:31.71\00:04:35.51 what everybody is doing. In this society and what we are doing as 00:04:35.55\00:04:39.38 Christians, to reach the world. This is such a great opportunity 00:04:39.41\00:04:43.21 let's include everybody in this and that's why, we want to go 00:04:43.25\00:04:46.45 into the inner cities. Who is mostly in the inner cities? and 00:04:46.49\00:04:49.88 if we are reaching areas and cities around the world-millions 00:04:49.91\00:04:53.35 of people-many of those have a lot of things in common-not only 00:04:53.38\00:04:56.65 minorities as far as culture, but how about economically? 00:04:56.69\00:04:59.89 The status and people and how they live-and we want to reach 00:04:59.92\00:05:03.33 everybody because the gospel is for everyone. 00:05:03.36\00:05:06.14 Absolutely, and we know that we have so many issues in the inner 00:05:06.18\00:05:10.82 cities. One of them is crime and so we have a program for 00:05:10.86\00:05:14.94 ex-offenders hosted by an ex-offender. Aaron Chancy is 00:05:14.98\00:05:19.03 the host and he is on fire for the Lord-a young man. Let's take 00:05:19.26\00:05:23.20 a look at Aaron. Music playing 00:05:23.23\00:05:52.35 We'd like to welcome the viewers back to this New Journey 00:05:52.38\00:05:54.53 Program. Today, our guest is Pastor Don L. Morgan. 00:05:54.57\00:05:58.23 Welcome, Pastor Morgan. Thank you. 00:05:58.26\00:06:00.43 Now we want to focus on your amazing testimony of God's 00:06:00.47\00:06:03.54 amazing saving grace. We want to focus on 4 areas of your life 00:06:03.57\00:06:08.45 your early childhood, how you got involved in crime, changing 00:06:08.49\00:06:11.69 your life and your battle with even learning how to read, and 00:06:11.73\00:06:14.99 we want to talk about your work as an ordained minister for God. 00:06:15.03\00:06:18.26 But before we get into those four aspects of your life, 00:06:18.29\00:06:20.37 you have a book that's been written and I want you to talk 00:06:20.41\00:06:23.28 a little bit about what prompted you-what motivated you to 00:06:23.32\00:06:27.06 want to write this book. You know Danny, Aaron Chancy, 00:06:27.10\00:06:30.81 he's on fire for the Lord and he was on Cheri Peters program 00:06:30.84\00:06:36.10 "Celebrating Life in Recovery. " He has an amazing testimony and 00:06:36.14\00:06:41.04 the Lord is just leading me to the right people to host each 00:06:41.07\00:06:45.41 program. He will lay it on my heart. "Ask this one are they 00:06:45.45\00:06:49.23 interested and when they are, it's just amazing how God has 00:06:49.27\00:06:53.02 been bringing everything together. 00:06:53.06\00:06:54.63 God is in it because I have been in production for over 25 years 00:06:54.67\00:06:59.07 and I have never seen so much production being done and new 00:06:59.11\00:07:03.52 programs coming out of nowhere with the right host, with the 00:07:03.55\00:07:07.54 guest. It's definitely God's blessings Yvonne because I know 00:07:07.57\00:07:11.52 though you have some television, much singing in the industry for 00:07:11.56\00:07:14.70 many, many years, and music industry professionally, some 00:07:14.73\00:07:17.97 television, but not having a production background as you do 00:07:18.01\00:07:21.03 to have God to have brought this thing and put it together in 00:07:21.06\00:07:24.05 in less than a year and developed all these new 00:07:24.09\00:07:26.57 programming meeting these needs- it's nothing short of a miracle. 00:07:26.61\00:07:28.83 It's true, you know, I've been listening to the 3abn miracles 00:07:28.87\00:07:32.70 all this time and it's just amazing and now I am seeing God 00:07:32.74\00:07:36.51 do this with "Dare to Dream" and I am just, it just takes me 00:07:36.54\00:07:40.27 aback. God is so incredible. When you are available to do 00:07:40.31\00:07:43.97 the work, He makes Himself responsible for it. So we are 00:07:44.00\00:07:48.44 just watching how everybody is coming together, it's really 00:07:48.48\00:07:52.62 amazing, it really is. It really is. 00:07:52.65\00:07:54.79 One of the things that is the bain of the inner city is 00:07:54.82\00:07:57.84 poverty and we needed a money- management program. So we have 00:07:57.87\00:08:02.11 "Take it to the Bank" with Cordell Thomas. Check it out! 00:08:02.14\00:08:06.34 Simple ways to save... Buying or selling a home? 00:08:06.38\00:08:13.90 and many more financial matters on "Take it to the Bank. " 00:08:13.94\00:08:18.55 Hi, my name is Cordell Thomas and I welcome you to 00:08:18.58\00:08:22.78 "Take it to the Bank" Today, we're going to talk about 00:08:22.81\00:08:25.87 something that's kind of interesting to me and it really 00:08:25.90\00:08:28.89 is interesting because it takes me back to a time in my life 00:08:28.93\00:08:32.03 that I had to leave home. I stayed and lived at home 00:08:32.06\00:08:35.07 until I was well into my 20s but when it is time to leave home, 00:08:35.11\00:08:38.34 it was an intriguing perspective on understanding the real 00:08:38.37\00:08:44.10 expense of living on your own. It's kind of intriguing because 00:08:44.54\00:08:48.61 we do financial literacy courses as part of our Organization and 00:08:48.65\00:08:52.49 teach young people about what financial literacy is all about. 00:08:52.52\00:08:56.33 Money management is just critical-and not just for young 00:08:56.37\00:09:01.09 people, but for all of us older folk too. Absolutely! 00:09:01.13\00:09:05.82 "I am going to be watching this program. " 00:09:05.85\00:09:07.68 "Me too, I am going to be watching and taking notes. " 00:09:07.72\00:09:10.49 Another thing that we've been dealing with again - in the 00:09:10.52\00:09:15.11 inner city, but really in the African-American community as 00:09:15.14\00:09:19.11 a whole, is really poor health. We are the front-runners in 00:09:19.14\00:09:23.08 mortality for many of the chronic diseases-hypertension, 00:09:23.11\00:09:27.60 cancer, diabetes, so we are really looking at, "what to do? 00:09:27.64\00:09:32.10 how do we make a difference? in health status?" So we have 00:09:32.13\00:09:36.39 to have a health program, right? This one is "A Taste of 00:09:36.43\00:09:40.83 Paradise" and the interesting thing about this to me is that 00:09:40.87\00:09:43.67 it's structured uniquely. The first half is on raw-food 00:09:43.71\00:09:48.22 preparation and that's with Evita Tezeno and Brenda Camp, 00:09:48.26\00:09:51.22 and the 2nd half is with Nyse Collins. I think Nyse is 00:09:51.25\00:09:54.75 going to introduce the program but it's really good 00:09:54.79\00:09:57.66 and Nice does cooked food, and he does health tips, 00:09:57.70\00:10:00.93 it's really a nice blend. So let's look at them - 00:10:00.97\00:10:04.17 "Taste of Paradise" music playing 00:10:04.21\00:10:14.84 Do you want to see that again because I would love to show 00:10:14.88\00:10:16.92 you. All right, I heard somebody somebody say, "Yes" so we'll go 00:10:16.96\00:10:18.93 ahead. oh my! This is dangerously good for me. 00:10:18.96\00:10:24.03 Let's get started cooking... or shall I say-uncooking. Yes, 00:10:24.06\00:10:27.60 Nori Sushi rolls and mock tuna. What is the best thing? 00:10:27.63\00:10:32.27 Apple pie! Yes! and guess what? you don't have to give up 00:10:32.30\00:10:36.52 apple pie when you become raw. A raw apple pie! 00:10:36.55\00:10:40.22 Cholesterol is normally manufactured in the liver. Okay 00:10:40.25\00:10:43.18 so if something has a liver- maybe it is related to something 00:10:43.22\00:10:47.84 that has a liver-if it even has a face or a momma or something 00:10:47.87\00:10:52.46 of that nature then it will always have cholesterol. 00:10:52.50\00:10:54.41 So let me ask you a quick question. Does this have a 00:10:54.45\00:10:56.29 liver? Not quite. Does it have a face? Well I guess you can 00:10:56.33\00:10:59.11 draw it in or something like that but does it? It doesn't 00:10:59.14\00:11:01.84 have any of those so this in general-you can look at the 00:11:01.87\00:11:04.54 signs. It has how much Cholesterol? Absolutely no 00:11:04.57\00:11:07.74 cholesterol. But what it does have is - it has a lot of fat- 00:11:07.77\00:11:11.43 Actually, good fat. Does it have a face or a mother. 00:11:11.46\00:11:17.35 That's right. I know. I know. I just love the way they all 00:11:17.39\00:11:20.99 interact and it's just really, really a good program and the 00:11:21.03\00:11:25.28 recipes! The crew and I -we were just loving this program- 00:11:25.31\00:11:29.53 because we got to eat the samples - oh it was good! 00:11:29.56\00:11:33.22 It was good! Well, what I am loving about it too is now 00:11:33.25\00:11:36.03 these are all 3abn Dare to Dream programs produced here-I mean 00:11:36.07\00:11:40.01 in our own studios. Yes. Besides of all the other 00:11:40.04\00:11:43.09 programming that we have been producing all year long- the 00:11:43.13\00:11:46.70 lives and then the actual new programs, and somehow the Lord 00:11:46.74\00:11:50.27 has blessed and thanks to Jim Gilley and Molly and 00:11:50.31\00:11:52.73 C.A. Murray and all the rest of them putting Shelly Quinn - 00:11:52.76\00:11:55.57 helping with all of this, you know, this is amazing 00:11:55.61\00:11:59.33 because I sat and watched all of this and I say this is new 00:11:59.36\00:12:03.94 programs by new people and literally hitting topics that 00:12:03.97\00:12:08.51 are a must for inner cities. For sure, for sure, and I think 00:12:08.55\00:12:11.97 so many people can really benefit, I mean, even people who 00:12:12.00\00:12:14.97 don't live in the inner cities- when they watch these programs 00:12:15.00\00:12:17.84 it is going to be information, that they can use and apply to 00:12:17.88\00:12:20.68 their lives. It's just- I am so excited Danny because 00:12:20.72\00:12:24.22 I see God working and I see that this is information that 00:12:24.26\00:12:27.70 is so necessary. One of the things that's going on too 00:12:27.73\00:12:30.93 across the board, not just in the inner city but across the 00:12:30.96\00:12:33.78 board is the erosion of the family and we need 00:12:33.82\00:12:37.59 relationship-focused programming - and we have one 00:12:37.62\00:12:42.08 this one is externally produced by a Brother Rayford Young in 00:12:42.11\00:12:47.30 Quiet Time Ministries. Okay. And this is out of Detroit with 00:12:47.34\00:12:49.86 Dr. Kim Nowlin and her husband, Arthur Nowlin, and 00:12:49.90\00:12:54.35 they are psychotherapists and they are hosting this 00:12:54.39\00:12:58.80 program, "Making it Work. " Let's take a look. 00:12:58.84\00:13:01.73 Hi, I am Dr. Kim Logan Nowlin and I am Dr. Arthur Nowlin 00:13:01.76\00:13:05.77 and welcome to, "Making it Work" 00:13:05.81\00:13:08.32 Music playing 00:13:25.86\00:13:38.72 Our Topic for today, "The do's and don'ts of a 00:13:38.75\00:13:45.30 healthy relationship. The making of a good marriage. " 00:13:45.46\00:13:48.58 Arthur, what are some of the- - what should I say-the good 00:13:48.85\00:13:52.72 points of making a good marriage? Well, we have to 00:13:52.75\00:13:55.82 start out with good communication. 00:13:55.86\00:13:57.41 You got to have good communication. 00:13:57.45\00:13:58.94 That's very essential when we talk about good points. 00:13:58.97\00:14:01.47 Then the second thing is, we are talking about finances-making 00:14:01.50\00:14:06.57 sure that the finances are- we can work it out, we can work 00:14:06.61\00:14:10.92 together and establish some type of a good working relationship 00:14:10.96\00:14:15.24 for finances. The third thing Kim-you are not really 00:14:15.28\00:14:18.34 going to want to believe this What is it? 00:14:18.37\00:14:20.14 We are talking about responsibilities and chores. 00:14:20.17\00:14:22.58 Okay, Arthur, what's your favorite chore not to do? 00:14:22.61\00:14:26.06 Well, I don't do windows Kim 00:14:26.09\00:14:28.74 I know... when we got married that was in the wedding vows! 00:14:28.78\00:14:33.07 He said, in our wedding vows, I shall not dust and do windows- 00:14:33.10\00:14:37.93 and to this day, he has kept those vows. All right. 00:14:37.96\00:14:41.08 But listen, we want to welcome our guests today- 00:14:41.11\00:14:44.28 Brandon and Alison. Welcome to "Making it work" 00:14:44.32\00:14:46.72 How are you doing today? We're doing great. 00:14:46.76\00:14:49.12 You know one of the things I like about them is their own 00:14:49.16\00:14:53.93 personal interaction. They are married and I like seeing how 00:14:53.96\00:14:57.79 they interact with each other and how they interact with their 00:14:57.83\00:15:00.59 guests as well. And of course, one of the 00:15:00.62\00:15:03.26 producers there-Ray Young- a great guy. I know him and 00:15:03.30\00:15:06.15 and his wife, Debbie from ASI. I have known him for years. 00:15:06.19\00:15:09.07 Great Christians and they love Jesus-you know. 00:15:09.10\00:15:11.72 He has been such a blessing. Really. I mean, this is 00:15:11.76\00:15:15.09 another thing Danny-because you know we have so much going on 00:15:15.12\00:15:18.87 here and "Dare to Dream" is the new baby for 3abn. So we've had 00:15:18.90\00:15:22.62 to do some things externally and Brother Ray stepped up to the 00:15:22.65\00:15:26.23 plate and then we had the hosts that were available and so again 00:15:26.27\00:15:30.34 God has just been opening doors for us-amazing doors and 00:15:30.37\00:15:34.69 I am really thankful. I had heard about this next little 00:15:34.72\00:15:39.00 segment. The host of this next segment-I heard about him 00:15:39.04\00:15:42.08 from some other folks and I checked him out on You Tube 00:15:42.11\00:15:45.52 In fact, no, I was looking up some things on You Tube, and 00:15:45.55\00:15:48.92 saw him and thought, wow! this guy sounds like he's 00:15:48.95\00:15:52.62 Seventh-day Adventist. Sure enough, I found out that 00:15:52.66\00:15:56.20 Chris Hudson, Christopher Hudson is a Seventh-day Adventist 00:15:56.23\00:15:59.44 and he has "The Forerunner Chronicles" 00:15:59.48\00:16:02.17 and it is cutting edge. Take a look. music playing 00:16:02.20\00:16:05.07 Music playing... 00:16:05.11\00:16:16.02 Hi and you are now with "The Forerunner Chronicles" 00:16:16.05\00:16:19.16 All right everybody, I have a question for you. How important 00:16:19.19\00:16:24.28 is entertainment in your personal life? Now, the reason 00:16:24.32\00:16:28.84 why I ask YOU this particular questions is because over the 00:16:28.88\00:16:33.48 course of the last few months, I have received this very same 00:16:33.51\00:16:37.58 question from thousands of individuals -all throughout 00:16:37.61\00:16:41.64 the world and I am talking about thousands of text messages 00:16:41.68\00:16:45.76 and E-Mails, even phone calls in the very middle of the night. 00:16:45.80\00:16:49.85 It's obvious to me, people are truly concerned about what 00:16:49.88\00:16:53.66 role of importance, entertainment should play within 00:16:53.69\00:16:56.41 their personal lives as well as in the lives of their 00:16:56.44\00:16:59.22 family members and they want to know whether or not 00:16:59.25\00:17:01.95 entertainment should hold any role or significance whatsoever 00:17:01.99\00:17:07.15 within their households. When we look out into society, and 00:17:07.19\00:17:10.55 I am not just speaking of here in the United States of America. 00:17:10.59\00:17:14.02 I am talking about world-wide! It can be seen clearly that 00:17:14.05\00:17:18.75 the younger generation-the great majority, are devoting 00:17:18.78\00:17:23.10 an overwhelming amount of time and attention to being 00:17:23.14\00:17:27.38 engrossed within some form of entertainment-and this whole 00:17:27.42\00:17:31.66 phenomena of being wrapped up in entertainment-it's not 00:17:31.70\00:17:35.74 solely isolated to the younger generation. Let's be honest 00:17:35.78\00:17:40.02 everyone, the older generation as well have been overtaken 00:17:40.05\00:17:44.26 with this craze of entertainment. The love of 00:17:44.29\00:17:49.56 entertainment, the very presence of entertainment. 00:17:49.59\00:17:51.64 It is pervading every aspect of our society and especially 00:17:51.68\00:17:58.10 we see this within our inner cities and now, with the 00:17:58.13\00:18:02.25 technological explosion that is taking place-giving us 00:18:02.29\00:18:06.38 devices like iPads and iPods, laptop computers and smartphones 00:18:06.41\00:18:11.00 which pretty much have the same capability that our laptops 00:18:11.03\00:18:15.85 have. We now have readily at our disposal, gadgets that we 00:18:15.88\00:18:20.08 can wear on our wrists, place within our pockets or ladies 00:18:20.12\00:18:24.29 you can just drop them right inside of your handbags. 00:18:24.32\00:18:29.13 He is cutting edge. You know, for me, in my generation, 00:18:29.16\00:18:33.90 I won't include you because... Danny: you should, 00:18:33.93\00:18:38.58 we are the same age. There's a lot of visual 00:18:38.62\00:18:43.13 stimulation there and young people are used to that kind of 00:18:43.16\00:18:46.56 stimulation. You know, for me, just give me a book somewhere, 00:18:46.59\00:18:49.95 or a program, you know, television program, with just 00:18:49.99\00:18:53.16 one thing going on. But one thing I love about him is 00:18:53.20\00:18:56.42 that-he has a lot going on, he's very scriptural, 00:18:56.45\00:19:00.02 very Biblically sound, got great information... 00:19:00.06\00:19:03.56 Danny: He's got the high tech stuff that's going on that 00:19:03.59\00:19:05.66 grabs people's attention. Yvonne: It does. It does. 00:19:05.70\00:19:07.74 Danny: Rightfully so. Yvonne: Yeah, it does. 00:19:07.77\00:19:09.47 Well, another issue that we have going on in the African-American 00:19:09.50\00:19:15.37 community is that issue again of the erosion of the family 00:19:15.40\00:19:19.66 and a lot of promiscuity happening which is a problem- 00:19:19.69\00:19:26.37 not just in the African-American community, really, 00:19:26.41\00:19:28.33 I mean, it's across the board. So I don't want any of our 00:19:28.37\00:19:31.10 viewers to think, oh, we are just picking on the 00:19:31.13\00:19:33.41 African-American community or the inner city. No... We know 00:19:33.44\00:19:36.63 that this is a problem across the board -that sexual purity 00:19:36.66\00:19:40.42 is an issue that has to be dealt with and so, guess what? 00:19:40.45\00:19:44.18 We have a program for sexual purity and it is called 00:19:44.21\00:19:47.14 "Pure Choices" Danny, I am so excited about 00:19:47.17\00:19:50.98 this program too because- I had gone to Oakwood 00:19:51.02\00:19:54.79 to hear... what was I there for? Danny: Oakwood University 00:19:54.83\00:19:58.08 Yvonne: Oakwood University Thank you. They were 00:19:58.11\00:20:00.25 Oakwood College and now they are Oakwood University... 00:20:00.29\00:20:04.02 It was a campmeeting and their featured speaker for 00:20:04.06\00:20:07.76 that evening, for Friday evening was our host, Pr. Seth Yulorda 00:20:07.79\00:20:12.60 and so, as he was talking about his journey, the Lord laid it 00:20:12.63\00:20:17.14 on my heart. Ask him about "Pure Choices" and sure enough 00:20:17.18\00:20:21.67 he said that he would do it, he consented to do it 00:20:21.70\00:20:25.00 and he has done an outstanding job. He brought in some 00:20:25.03\00:20:28.30 panelists - take a look watch this... 00:20:28.33\00:20:31.00 Yeah, I do, because were made- the Bible makes it very clear 00:20:31.03\00:20:35.16 that we were made to create- there's a desire in us to do 00:20:35.20\00:20:38.33 that and what they are doing to me is that... I think they 00:20:38.37\00:20:41.30 play off of that, and, let's not... I don't think we should 00:20:41.33\00:20:44.36 kid ourselves and think that they don't look at those things 00:20:44.40\00:20:47.40 and say you know what believe in that. Maybe even some 00:20:47.43\00:20:50.22 of them do understand that we are created this way 00:20:50.26\00:20:52.98 and so if we can just keep pushing and pushing and 00:20:53.02\00:20:54.86 pushing it, it no longer becomes something that we should 00:20:54.90\00:20:57.41 wait for- I've got to get it right now. Because for me 00:20:57.59\00:21:00.90 it's all about fast- it's all about being fast. 00:21:00.93\00:21:02.60 I was just going to add on to that. You know, it's just 00:21:02.64\00:21:07.21 that everyone is searching for fulfillment, and it's 00:21:07.25\00:21:10.08 just kind of a short cut, and so I can actually get fulfillment 00:21:10.12\00:21:13.37 instantly by just engaging in this type of activity... 00:21:13.41\00:21:17.99 as opposed to... just the time just putting in the effort, 00:21:18.03\00:21:22.33 making all the necessary deposits, so that I can actually 00:21:22.37\00:21:26.64 have to choose from... Let's just say, 00:21:26.67\00:21:28.36 let's skip everything, let's skip all of the necessary 00:21:28.39\00:21:32.05 time it takes to really build a relationship and to actually 00:21:32.08\00:21:35.32 have a commitment and just... you can just have it right now.. 00:21:35.36\00:21:38.57 Their interaction... it's just it's so, it's so 00:21:41.33\00:21:44.33 there's a synergy there that they have... 00:21:44.36\00:21:46.80 Danny: Yeah. There's so much going on the host really 00:21:46.83\00:21:48.98 didn't get the time to say anything... and that makes a 00:21:49.01\00:21:51.58 good program, really, when you got that much interaction 00:21:51.61\00:21:54.15 going on. I love it. They just blend really, really 00:21:54.18\00:21:58.11 well. Again, God just brought the right people into this 00:21:58.15\00:22:01.96 whole deal and I am just extremely excited about it. 00:22:02.00\00:22:04.83 Well you know, "Dare to Dream" could not be 00:22:04.86\00:22:07.09 "Dare to Dream" and not have a music program. 00:22:07.13\00:22:09.29 You know, we have to have a music program and the 00:22:09.33\00:22:13.40 hosts for this program are Duane Starling and yours truly 00:22:13.44\00:22:17.43 and so, you got to hear Duane sing. I am hoping that 00:22:17.47\00:22:20.90 that we have a clip of him... But let's take a look at who 00:22:20.94\00:22:23.86 we have. Danny: Okay. 00:22:23.89\00:22:25.14 Be stronger, cry no longer and I'll never wander, from your 00:22:25.18\00:22:40.85 love, no more, and I'll be wiser now, not like before, if I only 00:22:40.89\00:22:58.15 take your hand, and don't let go. I can be the one I intended 00:22:58.18\00:23:13.34 The one that you need Lord and I can go beyond the circumstance 00:23:13.38\00:23:28.51 Down on my knees, when I am down on my knees, I see my way now, 00:23:28.54\00:23:45.92 Now that I found, one who knows how, and He cares to show, and 00:23:45.95\00:24:00.98 He'll protect me from all that I don't know, if I only take 00:24:01.01\00:24:15.62 His hand, to believe that I can stand, if I only take His hand 00:24:15.65\00:24:30.06 I can be a better man, Lord I'll simply take, I'll take your hand 00:24:30.09\00:24:44.47 Please don't, don't let go. Don't let go. 00:24:44.50\00:25:00.10 I'm Counting on you. 00:25:00.13\00:25:10.07 Danny: Amen Yvonne: Amen. Magnify Him. 00:25:14.83\00:25:19.27 That's our music program and the whole idea is to just lift 00:25:19.31\00:25:22.79 up the Lord. To show the music ministries and to lift up the 00:25:22.83\00:25:26.26 Lord. And what a lot of people may not know about 00:25:26.29\00:25:28.84 Dr. Yvonne Lewis -she is not only a Naturopathic doctor, 00:25:28.87\00:25:33.33 but you have a history and for many, many years-sang out 00:25:33.36\00:25:37.79 in the secular music and in 1985, you gave your heart back 00:25:37.83\00:25:42.32 to the Lord and really got serious for the Lord and you've 00:25:42.36\00:25:46.78 been singing for Him ever since, but Yvonne-Dr. Lewis has I think 00:25:46.81\00:25:51.10 8 platinum records with people like Luther Vandross, 00:25:51.14\00:25:53.66 Roberta Flack, Whitney Houston, and a number of those and she 00:25:53.69\00:25:58.91 sang jingles for Coco Cola and Pizza Hut and Charmin and a lot 00:25:58.94\00:26:04.12 of different commercials, and so, you have a tremendous 00:26:04.16\00:26:06.09 background and I am so thankful that Yvonne Lewis 00:26:06.12\00:26:09.52 is using her talents- her gifts and her abilities. and by the 00:26:09.56\00:26:12.21 way, we want to hear you singing more. I notice what you are 00:26:12.25\00:26:15.01 doing-you are putting everybody else up there in these 00:26:15.05\00:26:17.21 in these program-singing and you are not doing much 00:26:17.25\00:26:19.53 but you are a blessing not only because of the great 00:26:19.57\00:26:22.74 gift of the instrument that you have but because of your 00:26:22.77\00:26:25.91 sincerity and your love for Jesus shines through so what is 00:26:25.94\00:26:29.60 commonly known as an anointing it's all over you when you sing 00:26:29.63\00:26:33.78 so you ministered to me and 1000's and multi-1000s of others 00:26:33.81\00:26:37.59 others around the world-so we want to keep using that talent. 00:26:37.63\00:26:43.13 Praise the Lord. Thank you. God has been so good in just 00:26:43.17\00:26:47.69 bringing this whole thing together. I praise him and I am 00:26:47.72\00:26:52.20 so thankful for 3abn and for you and your vision-you know to 00:26:52.24\00:26:56.54 get this thing started and for the crew, everybody here, has 00:26:56.57\00:27:00.84 just been an amazing blessing.
