Dan Brown tells us in his book,

New Testament had been written.

in the deserts of Egypt

1970s, and they've discovered

set of beliefs quite different

which member of the Godhead

It shows us God's plan to remove
the veil, so that He can be

no barrier in between.

Let's take a look at the
Old Testament Tabernacle,

the place where they kept
the Ark in the Most Holy Place.

The tabernacle had 2 rooms,
the Holy Place, this bigger

room here, and the Most Holy

It was all set in a courtyard,
and out in the courtyard

were a number of
articles of furniture,

number of articles of furniture

in the Holy Place, this
first room, and then the Ark

the Most Holy Place.

Now remember, as Moses built
this, and Israelites built this,

they were building it
according to a blueprint

that had been shown
to them by God Himself.

The blueprint for this earthly
tabernacle was a tabernacle,

the courts of heaven.

This whole thing is a copy

that exists in heaven.

tour through the Old Testament

its various components to see

learn about the character of God

person of Jesus Christ.

The first thing you
encounter out in the courtyard

of the tabernacle.
This is a fence they set up

and they built the
tabernacle inside that fence.

That whole area
is the courtyard,

and on a daily basis sinner
would take little animals,

notably lambs,
they would bring them

into the courtyard, and a sinner
would put his hands on the head

of a lamb, and the
original language tells us

he not only put his hands
on that lamb, he leaned on it

with all his weight and as
he did, he confessed his sins.

Then the sinner
had to take a knife

little lamb and put it to death.

Why? Because the Bible tells us

It's like unplugging a fan.
