our kitchen. 00:00:41.94\00:00:44.71 Yes, we're doing a wonderful scrumptious 00:00:44.74\00:00:48.31 Strawberry Ganache cake today, yes. 00:00:48.34\00:00:52.88 Oh, it's wonderful, fabulous 00:00:52.91\00:00:55.78 and scrumptious 00:00:55.82\00:00:58.35 and I can't wait to share it with you. 00:00:58.39\00:01:00.32 So let's just go to the recipe. 00:01:00.36\00:01:04.29 For the cake you need: 00:01:04.33\00:01:05.66 So we're going to start with the cake. 00:01:40.83\00:01:43.37 Very, very simple quick and easy. 00:01:43.40\00:01:46.47 We have our walnuts here 00:01:46.50\00:01:48.40 and we put them in the food processor. 00:01:48.44\00:01:53.34 We have our carob powder. 00:01:53.38\00:01:55.64 Carob is a fabulous substitute for chocolate. 00:01:55.68\00:02:00.72 It is high in calcium and it's naturally sweet. 00:02:00.75\00:02:04.55 So you don't have to have all of that extra sugar. 00:02:04.59\00:02:07.72 So we're going to put our carob powder in, 00:02:07.76\00:02:11.83 little bit of sea salt, 00:02:11.86\00:02:14.70 and we're going to blend that together first. 00:02:14.73\00:02:16.40 And that carob powder has the kitchen smoking, 00:02:27.84\00:02:29.94 look at that. 00:02:29.98\00:02:31.31 Cool, then we're going to put our dates in. 00:02:35.75\00:02:39.02 And so we want to kind of separate our dates, 00:02:39.05\00:02:41.82 so they're evenly distribute throughout our food processor. 00:02:41.86\00:02:47.90 And make sure that they're pitted 00:02:47.93\00:02:49.56 and there is no pits in them. 00:02:49.60\00:02:50.93 So it's all evenly incorporated, 00:03:07.95\00:03:10.95 so we want to then place it in our bowl. 00:03:10.99\00:03:13.25 We want to take our springform pan, 00:03:20.13\00:03:22.66 and we want to take half of this mixture 00:03:22.70\00:03:25.57 and put it in our springform pan, 00:03:25.60\00:03:32.41 about half of it. 00:03:32.44\00:03:33.78 And we want to start pressing it down. 00:03:33.81\00:03:35.44 Press it down, press it down. 00:03:42.48\00:03:45.55 So we're going to put a little bit more. 00:03:45.59\00:03:46.99 This is a really nice dense cake 00:03:53.83\00:03:56.73 but it's delicious, 00:03:56.77\00:03:58.60 delicious. 00:03:58.63\00:03:59.97 Then we take our strawberries and we just sprinkle it in. 00:04:00.00\00:04:03.04 Evenly distributed throughout the cake, 00:04:09.01\00:04:12.25 then take the rest of the cake mixture 00:04:12.28\00:04:15.42 and put it on top. 00:04:15.45\00:04:16.99 And press it down. 00:04:27.20\00:04:28.66 And then we're going to put this in the freezer 00:04:41.91\00:04:44.05 really quick for it to sit. 00:04:44.08\00:04:45.45 Now we're going to go to our icing or our frosting. 00:05:09.50\00:05:12.87 Using our blender, 00:05:17.65\00:05:18.98 we're going to put our maple syrup in, 00:05:22.05\00:05:24.82 our carob powder, 00:05:31.09\00:05:32.43 our medjool dates that have been soaked, 00:05:39.03\00:05:41.20 and our avocado. 00:05:46.57\00:05:48.08 Look at this, yummy, it's so creamy. 00:06:26.98\00:06:30.82 Then we want to place that in a bowl. 00:06:35.16\00:06:36.76 This is a real quick easy dessert 00:06:42.86\00:06:46.60 and it doesn't take a lot of preparation. 00:06:46.63\00:06:51.27 You want to get all of that wonderful carob goodness 00:06:51.31\00:06:54.68 out of the blender, okay. 00:06:54.71\00:06:58.55 And now let's go get our cake. 00:06:58.58\00:07:00.22 So it's been setting for a minute. 00:07:07.06\00:07:08.76 And it will set longer. 00:07:21.10\00:07:23.24 It needs to set about an hour in the refrigerator 00:07:29.64\00:07:32.45 or in the freezer. 00:07:32.48\00:07:35.15 Then you take your icing, 00:07:35.18\00:07:39.09 and you spread it all over the top. 00:07:39.12\00:07:42.52 And you want to make sure that, 00:07:53.20\00:07:55.90 you have it spread nicely all over the cake. 00:07:55.94\00:08:00.24 And then you take your wonderful strawberries. 00:08:09.58\00:08:13.32 Fan them out and place them all around the cake. 00:08:19.29\00:08:23.97 How amazing is this. 00:08:52.19\00:08:54.76 Got a little crumbles on it but it's okay, 00:08:54.80\00:08:58.73 your guests will love it. 00:08:58.77\00:09:00.74 It's been another great recipe the great show, 00:09:00.77\00:09:04.07 table this holiday season, 00:09:04.11\00:09:06.07 and remember to live life fresh. 00:09:06.11\00:09:09.31 Holidays come and go, 00:09:16.25\00:09:17.72 and it's one thing that doesn't come and go 00:09:17.75\00:09:19.85 whether it's Christmas, Thanksgiving, 00:09:19.89\00:09:22.39 the holidays, Easter, 00:09:22.42\00:09:23.76 there's one thing that's a main stay in most dishes. 00:09:23.79\00:09:26.39 And we all know it's that dessert, 00:09:26.43\00:09:28.46 but a part of that dessert that's even better 00:09:28.50\00:09:30.37 it's called the banana bread. 00:09:30.40\00:09:32.97 Some of us will eat a slice or two, 00:09:33.00\00:09:34.77 will even wrap some up in paper towel 00:09:34.80\00:09:36.77 and bring it home, 00:09:36.81\00:09:38.14 because we love the banana bread. 00:09:38.17\00:09:40.08 And a reason I believe that we love the banana bread, 00:09:40.11\00:09:41.98 not only 'cause bananas are good for you, 00:09:42.01\00:09:43.45 and all of that stuff, 00:09:43.48\00:09:44.81 because sometimes it's not too sweet, 00:09:44.85\00:09:46.41 it's not you know, too bland, 00:09:46.45\00:09:47.95 it's just right, it satisfies. 00:09:47.98\00:09:50.55 And so what sense would it make for us, 00:09:50.59\00:09:53.22 this program of Taste of Paradise 00:09:53.25\00:09:55.96 to do anything else but banana bread? 00:09:55.99\00:09:58.59 Yes, our favorite banana bread, 00:09:58.63\00:10:00.36 but sometimes we make banana bread 00:10:00.40\00:10:02.23 when we have no choice and you know, 00:10:02.26\00:10:04.10 we always ask people, 00:10:04.13\00:10:05.47 "What bananas do you use?" 00:10:05.50\00:10:06.94 They said, "Well, when a bananas are going bad, 00:10:06.97\00:10:09.50 we always use the what? 00:10:09.54\00:10:11.47 We always make the banana bread." 00:10:11.51\00:10:13.61 Well, I want to encourage out 00:10:13.64\00:10:15.21 that's probably not always the best idea. 00:10:15.24\00:10:17.18 Why? 00:10:17.21\00:10:18.55 Because if you notice, 00:10:18.58\00:10:19.91 sometimes when you get that thing 00:10:19.95\00:10:21.42 looking like a cheetah, 00:10:21.45\00:10:23.32 or sometimes they're looking like a zebra, 00:10:23.35\00:10:25.25 something like that, 00:10:25.29\00:10:26.62 that's a sign that is probably not the best thing to eat. 00:10:26.65\00:10:29.72 Matter fact, when we do programs 00:10:29.76\00:10:32.46 for even diabetics, 00:10:32.49\00:10:33.96 they always say, they told us, we can't eat fruits. 00:10:34.00\00:10:37.27 Actually, do you know 00:10:37.30\00:10:38.63 this is considered to be a serious error? 00:10:38.67\00:10:41.00 Diabetics need fruits, 00:10:41.04\00:10:44.01 however they must use some caution in certain fruits. 00:10:44.04\00:10:47.84 One of those fruits in particular are dry fruits. 00:10:47.88\00:10:51.15 Another one is any items that have been like sweet 00:10:51.18\00:10:54.68 and you know, what I mean, 00:10:54.72\00:10:56.05 we talked about the dry fruits 00:10:56.08\00:10:57.42 or even like raisins or stuff like that, 00:10:57.45\00:10:59.85 and a lot of the dry fruits that you buy at the store, 00:10:59.89\00:11:02.06 a lot of them contain sugar. 00:11:02.09\00:11:03.43 So yes, that will elevate the blood sugars. 00:11:03.46\00:11:05.69 But there is a couple of fruits in particular 00:11:05.73\00:11:08.50 that is very good for diabetic. 00:11:08.53\00:11:11.70 Y'all ready for this? 00:11:11.73\00:11:13.07 Don't get me in trouble with your doctors, here it is, 00:11:13.10\00:11:14.94 that fruit is bananas. 00:11:14.97\00:11:18.44 Yes, I said it bananas. 00:11:18.47\00:11:20.38 Not this ugly looking banana. 00:11:20.41\00:11:22.24 I'm talking about bananas 00:11:22.28\00:11:23.75 as soon as they goes from green to yellow, 00:11:23.78\00:11:27.62 bam, a diabetic needs to eat that. 00:11:27.65\00:11:29.68 It is actually good 00:11:29.72\00:11:31.25 because it has a good amount of carbohydrates 00:11:31.29\00:11:33.22 and it helps balances those sugars out. 00:11:33.25\00:11:35.76 But don't go knockout three or four of them, 00:11:35.79\00:11:37.66 you see a lot of times when we wait for that banana, 00:11:37.69\00:11:40.26 if you can take a little close look here to get this way, 00:11:40.30\00:11:43.93 it's starting to show that it is fermenting. 00:11:43.97\00:11:46.40 A lot of us don't use bananas until it's like smelling. 00:11:46.43\00:11:50.44 Matter fact you know it's fermenting, 00:11:50.47\00:11:52.11 because it starts to smell like what? 00:11:52.14\00:11:54.14 It starts to smell like alcohol. 00:11:54.18\00:11:56.44 You know what I am talking about. 00:11:56.48\00:11:57.98 That time that means you're not supposed to eat it. 00:11:58.01\00:12:00.88 It's higher in sugar content, 00:12:00.92\00:12:03.18 that one you don't throw it away either, 00:12:03.22\00:12:05.09 we're in a recession, 00:12:05.12\00:12:06.45 you don't want to be wasting food, 00:12:06.49\00:12:07.82 everything you got to save. 00:12:07.86\00:12:09.19 You take that and you put that in a compost 00:12:09.22\00:12:11.13 and you can use that for a garden, 00:12:11.16\00:12:12.66 so bless the garden with this. 00:12:12.69\00:12:14.13 But a diabetic should eat it 00:12:14.16\00:12:15.73 as soon as it goes from green to yellow, eat it. 00:12:15.76\00:12:18.63 Do you know another fruit that's good for diabetics? 00:12:18.67\00:12:20.74 One of my favorites is mangoes. 00:12:20.77\00:12:23.51 Yes, I said it mangoes. 00:12:23.54\00:12:25.47 Mangoes are fantastic for diabetics, 00:12:25.51\00:12:28.18 however rule of thumb, 00:12:28.21\00:12:30.75 don't wait till the corner of the kitchen it start to, 00:12:30.78\00:12:34.48 and it smell like Jamaica, 00:12:34.52\00:12:36.05 that means it is too old 00:12:36.08\00:12:38.02 or it's too fermenting, you know, 00:12:38.05\00:12:39.55 where it's all squishy and you just take that thing, 00:12:39.59\00:12:41.59 you rip it open, it's all over your face, 00:12:41.62\00:12:43.79 and you just knockout two, three, 00:12:43.83\00:12:45.56 four of them, too much, 00:12:45.59\00:12:47.10 too much sugar. 00:12:47.13\00:12:48.46 This is what will cause the problem. 00:12:48.50\00:12:49.83 So people say how can a diabetic eat a mango? 00:12:49.86\00:12:52.03 As soon as it goes from green to tender, bam, 00:12:52.07\00:12:56.30 at that moment that's when a diabetic could eat it. 00:12:56.34\00:12:59.21 So yes, bananas and mangoes are good, 00:12:59.24\00:13:03.58 but please be careful, 00:13:03.61\00:13:05.05 don't let it ripe too much. 00:13:05.08\00:13:06.95 And that's the time that a lot of us make banana bread 00:13:06.98\00:13:09.52 when it ripes, ripes, ripes. 00:13:09.55\00:13:11.65 And that time you should probably 00:13:11.69\00:13:13.36 either put it in a garden or leave it alone, 00:13:13.39\00:13:15.66 even a fruit flies will get into it before you 00:13:15.69\00:13:18.33 and we're kicking them away, 00:13:18.36\00:13:19.73 move away from my bananas, 00:13:19.76\00:13:21.10 here is the type of banana bread. 00:13:21.13\00:13:22.46 So it's not only during holidays 00:13:22.50\00:13:23.83 that we make banana bread, 00:13:23.87\00:13:25.20 but we make it all the time, so you can enjoy it. 00:13:25.23\00:13:27.70 Banana is also good along with apples, 00:13:27.74\00:13:30.47 if a person is not feeling too well 00:13:30.51\00:13:32.34 in the stomach you know, what I mean. 00:13:32.37\00:13:33.74 And, you know, 00:13:33.78\00:13:35.11 they're going to the restroom a little too much, 00:13:35.14\00:13:36.58 they have number two. 00:13:36.61\00:13:37.95 It helps fight against you know, 00:13:37.98\00:13:39.38 the watery stuff. 00:13:39.41\00:13:40.98 Amen, too much information, let's keep it moving. 00:13:41.02\00:13:42.88 But it's also good to fight against constipation as well. 00:13:42.92\00:13:46.42 It helps balance out the acid in the stomach. 00:13:46.45\00:13:49.52 So bananas are fantastic. 00:13:49.56\00:13:51.56 There is a reason why 00:13:51.59\00:13:52.93 this thing is all over the world, 00:13:52.96\00:13:54.30 it is like God wanted to bless everybody with this stuff. 00:13:54.33\00:13:57.17 You can even find them in the States to South America, 00:13:57.20\00:13:59.60 to Africa, to Asia, 00:13:59.63\00:14:01.07 it's there so bananas enjoy them. 00:14:01.10\00:14:03.97 And now we're going to look at 00:14:04.01\00:14:05.34 how we can prepare this simple, 00:14:05.37\00:14:07.51 healthy banana cake for the holidays. 00:14:07.54\00:14:11.05 Here it is, we call it the blessed, 00:14:11.08\00:14:14.38 y'all ready for this 00:14:14.42\00:14:15.75 because this thing is so awesome. 00:14:15.78\00:14:17.12 The Blessed Banana Bread, 00:14:17.15\00:14:19.49 BBB and this is not for Better Business Bureau. 00:14:19.52\00:14:22.69 All you need is: 00:14:22.72\00:14:24.06 Sometimes people use aluminum free baking powder 00:14:42.31\00:14:45.41 or something of that nature but the featherweight, 00:14:45.45\00:14:47.05 we find this pretty good. 00:14:47.08\00:14:48.42 Literally that simple, that easy, the BBB. 00:14:58.89\00:15:03.26 This is going to help you to run a better business 00:15:03.30\00:15:05.53 because it's also good for the mind, 00:15:05.57\00:15:07.27 did you know that? 00:15:07.30\00:15:08.64 Bananas are also good for the mind. 00:15:08.67\00:15:10.01 So all we're going to do is 00:15:10.04\00:15:11.37 we're going to basically start mashing these up. 00:15:11.41\00:15:13.81 I notice there are so many different ways 00:15:13.84\00:15:15.51 to open these things, 00:15:15.54\00:15:17.91 but I'm just going to go the way 00:15:17.95\00:15:19.95 that I have been taught. 00:15:19.98\00:15:21.38 You go ahead and you open that up 00:15:21.42\00:15:23.18 and you put that in there and you can smell it. 00:15:23.22\00:15:25.65 Once those banana start smelling a little questionable, 00:15:25.69\00:15:28.52 you got to leave those alone. 00:15:28.56\00:15:29.89 But look at this, this is still good, 00:15:29.92\00:15:31.63 it's fresh, ready to go. 00:15:31.66\00:15:33.23 You don't want to per se 00:15:33.26\00:15:34.60 however use those bananas when they're too hard 00:15:34.63\00:15:37.60 or too green 00:15:37.63\00:15:38.97 because then in that case 00:15:39.00\00:15:43.14 it's no going to workout as well, 00:15:43.17\00:15:44.77 it won't have that nice rich flavor 00:15:44.81\00:15:47.14 that you will get from the bananas. 00:15:47.18\00:15:49.31 I got three and then this one, 00:15:49.34\00:15:51.95 I'm going to use this last bit here and four. 00:15:51.98\00:15:56.12 So basically you got to just break those up, 00:15:56.15\00:15:58.85 y'all should be able to do this. 00:15:58.89\00:16:00.69 Do this with the kids please, get the kids involve. 00:16:00.72\00:16:03.63 Everybody is like, 00:16:03.66\00:16:04.99 the kids don't want to eat this, 00:16:05.03\00:16:06.36 that's because they're not involved in making it. 00:16:06.39\00:16:08.86 Matter of fact, 00:16:08.90\00:16:10.60 it says that children by the age of eight, 00:16:10.63\00:16:14.00 nine should be able to handle the affairs of the kitchen. 00:16:14.04\00:16:18.04 Did y'all hear that? 00:16:18.07\00:16:19.41 I think my mom took that serious. 00:16:19.44\00:16:20.98 I think she had us just to cook and clean literally. 00:16:21.01\00:16:25.85 After we were able to start cooking and cleaning, 00:16:25.88\00:16:28.42 my mom never stepped back in the kitchen, 00:16:28.45\00:16:30.15 and we even, 00:16:30.19\00:16:31.52 I've been complaining with my brothers, I'm like, 00:16:31.55\00:16:32.89 it's the only reason why she had us 00:16:32.92\00:16:34.26 to cook and clean for her. 00:16:34.29\00:16:35.62 She was smart, 00:16:35.66\00:16:36.99 it was the best thing that she did for us. 00:16:37.03\00:16:38.36 I didn't like it then, but now I'm blessed by it, 00:16:38.39\00:16:41.63 that's why it's the blessed banana bread. 00:16:41.66\00:16:43.20 So basically we got to mix those up. 00:16:43.23\00:16:46.94 And then if you can take a quick look. 00:16:46.97\00:16:49.04 This actually worked pretty well. 00:16:49.07\00:16:50.94 This is some little unique, 00:16:50.97\00:16:53.14 crusher, musher or something like that, 00:16:53.17\00:16:55.14 maybe if you can get one of these, 00:16:55.18\00:16:56.51 it will be cool. 00:16:56.54\00:16:57.88 If you don't have one of these, no problem. 00:16:57.91\00:16:59.75 A fork will do the trick. All right. 00:16:59.78\00:17:01.82 Let's go old school, but if you can find these 00:17:01.85\00:17:04.02 in one of those little stores, it will do just fine, 00:17:04.05\00:17:07.12 so we have the bananas there, 00:17:07.16\00:17:09.46 and then I'm gonna put this on a side. 00:17:09.49\00:17:10.83 Then we're going to add 00:17:10.86\00:17:12.19 the rest of the ingredients, okay. 00:17:12.23\00:17:13.96 So we have the flour. 00:17:14.00\00:17:17.43 All right, so we add our whole wheat flour, 00:17:17.47\00:17:19.47 some people use pastry flour, work with what you have. 00:17:19.50\00:17:23.00 Big thing with making recipes is people always stop 00:17:23.04\00:17:25.87 because they're missing a certain ingredient. 00:17:25.91\00:17:27.71 Work with what you have 00:17:27.74\00:17:29.08 but ideally work with that whole wheat flour, 00:17:29.11\00:17:31.21 so we're going to mix that up. 00:17:31.25\00:17:32.58 We're going to add those cane juice crystals. 00:17:32.61\00:17:34.75 Now if a person is dealing with diabetes 00:17:34.78\00:17:37.59 or something of that nature, 00:17:37.62\00:17:39.15 you can actually hold of on the sugar 00:17:39.19\00:17:43.73 or a cane juice crystals there, 00:17:43.76\00:17:45.53 and you can use either agave nectar, 00:17:45.56\00:17:47.93 some people use agave nectar, 00:17:47.96\00:17:49.56 or you can just add a little bit more of bananas, 00:17:49.60\00:17:54.30 and bananas will do the trick. 00:17:54.34\00:17:55.70 That's one of the ways I like to do it, 00:17:55.74\00:17:57.21 if you get those nice sweet, sweet bananas 00:17:57.24\00:17:59.91 that will do it just as well. 00:17:59.94\00:18:01.81 Then we're going to add the rest of the ingredients. 00:18:01.84\00:18:04.98 So we have the fatherweight there. 00:18:05.01\00:18:06.75 This is a item that we use instead of baking powder, 00:18:06.78\00:18:13.69 or even instead of the aluminum free ones as well, 00:18:13.72\00:18:16.96 because they still have the sodium bicarbonate. 00:18:16.99\00:18:19.69 All right. 00:18:19.73\00:18:21.06 And then we have the rest of the items here, 00:18:21.10\00:18:23.97 so I'm basically gonna put it in cardamom, coriander. 00:18:24.00\00:18:27.44 Anybody remember what we use this for? 00:18:27.47\00:18:29.34 In place of cinnamon and nutmeg, 00:18:29.37\00:18:31.94 we'll use cardamom or coriander. 00:18:31.97\00:18:33.54 If you didn't get it by now with these many seasons, 00:18:33.58\00:18:36.24 I don't know what to say anymore. 00:18:36.28\00:18:37.98 But you add the cardamom and coriander, 00:18:38.01\00:18:39.98 this gives it that nice flavor, 00:18:40.02\00:18:42.12 that's why banana bread tastes so good sometimes 00:18:42.15\00:18:44.19 because of cinnamon and nutmeg that we add. 00:18:44.22\00:18:47.46 So you mix these items up. 00:18:47.49\00:18:50.73 All right, and now it will get nice and thick. 00:18:50.76\00:18:53.29 You got to work those bananas, if you can't you can even, 00:18:53.33\00:18:57.47 you can use your hands as well. 00:18:57.50\00:19:01.50 It becomes nice and thick. 00:19:01.54\00:19:06.31 So who knew that you eat banana bread a nice dessert 00:19:06.34\00:19:10.01 and you're helping the brains, 00:19:10.05\00:19:11.48 you're helping the digestive tract, 00:19:11.51\00:19:13.62 I mean this thing is good for almost everything. 00:19:13.65\00:19:17.79 Even the monkeys know 00:19:17.82\00:19:19.45 what's good for them, not saying, 00:19:19.49\00:19:21.89 however that we're monkey here, so... 00:19:21.92\00:19:27.33 Even now one person says, some people act like it, 00:19:27.36\00:19:30.90 so we mix that up nicely. 00:19:30.93\00:19:34.67 This thing will have you breaking out in a sweat here 00:19:34.70\00:19:37.17 if you don't watch out, so we'll get that going. 00:19:37.21\00:19:41.01 All right. 00:19:41.04\00:19:43.58 And watch this, I have some more bananas, 00:19:43.61\00:19:45.41 you can add more bananas, you can add different fruits 00:19:45.45\00:19:48.22 and so what I'm going to add is the raisins, all right. 00:19:48.25\00:19:51.39 So we have the raisins here. 00:19:51.42\00:19:52.85 Now you remember I said, diabetics need to watch out 00:19:52.89\00:19:54.82 a little bit with the dry fruits. 00:19:54.86\00:19:56.52 Those raisins used to be basically grapes, 00:19:56.56\00:19:59.63 right or wrong? 00:19:59.66\00:20:01.00 So what happens is if a diabetic goes ahead 00:20:01.03\00:20:03.57 and eats a handful of raisins, 00:20:03.60\00:20:06.27 that means that they're basically eating 00:20:06.30\00:20:09.20 almost two bushels of grapes. 00:20:09.24\00:20:12.31 What would that do to your blood Sugar? 00:20:12.34\00:20:13.98 Anybody's blood sugar will go up through the roof, 00:20:14.01\00:20:16.31 even if you're not a diabetic. 00:20:16.34\00:20:17.81 So with the raisins, 00:20:17.85\00:20:19.18 diabetics need to be very, very, very, 00:20:19.21\00:20:21.02 very careful. 00:20:21.05\00:20:22.45 But they're still good, 00:20:22.48\00:20:23.82 prunes as well is good for individual. 00:20:23.85\00:20:27.56 So these are some of those, 00:20:27.59\00:20:29.36 I went ahead and put in some of our 00:20:29.39\00:20:32.66 either pecans or walnuts, 00:20:32.69\00:20:34.93 if you to take it to the next level, 00:20:34.96\00:20:36.30 somebody got, 00:20:36.33\00:20:37.67 I'll stay ahead or something like that, 00:20:37.70\00:20:39.03 throw in some pumpkin seeds. 00:20:39.07\00:20:40.74 You may end up with like a seed bread 00:20:40.77\00:20:44.47 or something like that. 00:20:44.51\00:20:45.84 But work with it, 00:20:45.87\00:20:47.21 the whole goal here is just to try and explore new recipes 00:20:47.24\00:20:51.38 and or take some old favorites 00:20:51.41\00:20:54.98 and make them even better. 00:20:55.02\00:20:56.72 So we have all of those there, mixing that up nicely. 00:20:56.75\00:21:00.89 Amen. 00:21:00.92\00:21:02.26 You can even... 00:21:02.29\00:21:04.66 Hallelujah. 00:21:04.69\00:21:06.43 So this is good. 00:21:06.46\00:21:07.80 Then I'm going to get this ready, 00:21:07.83\00:21:09.16 I'm going to let this sit for just a little bit, 00:21:09.20\00:21:11.00 and I'm going to get my nice little baking dish here, 00:21:11.03\00:21:15.60 okay. 00:21:15.64\00:21:17.24 And I'm going to put just a little bit of oil, 00:21:17.27\00:21:18.87 so let me go ahead and grab this oil. 00:21:18.91\00:21:21.64 Just a little bit to line the edges here. 00:21:21.68\00:21:27.48 Okay, just put it on the sides there. 00:21:27.52\00:21:29.98 Now, if you all remember, I'm not a big fan of oil, 00:21:30.02\00:21:33.86 I don't like to touch oil. 00:21:33.89\00:21:37.49 I think, I know where I got it from, 00:21:37.53\00:21:38.89 I don't know if I should tell you, 00:21:38.93\00:21:40.43 but I tell you anyway. 00:21:40.46\00:21:41.80 You know, I tell everything. 00:21:41.83\00:21:43.16 Longtime ago when I used to be young, 00:21:43.20\00:21:45.90 before you all were around. 00:21:45.93\00:21:47.74 My hair used to be a little bit longer, yeah, 00:21:47.77\00:21:50.04 you know growing up, I was a last child. 00:21:50.07\00:21:52.21 And my mom always used to sit me down and grease, 00:21:52.24\00:21:57.88 see what I'm doing here. 00:21:57.91\00:21:59.25 She used to grease my scalp, 00:21:59.28\00:22:01.18 and she used to part it and braid it 00:22:01.22\00:22:03.72 and do all of these stuff. 00:22:03.75\00:22:05.22 And one day I just got mad, 00:22:05.25\00:22:06.69 I'm like, "Mom, if you want another girl, just have one." 00:22:06.72\00:22:10.53 You know, what I mean, 00:22:10.56\00:22:11.89 you don't have to be greasing my scalp 00:22:11.93\00:22:13.46 and she didn't put those just a regular grease. 00:22:13.50\00:22:15.63 You know, what I'm talking about, 00:22:15.66\00:22:17.00 the old school inner city grease, 00:22:17.03\00:22:19.73 that green thick stuff 00:22:19.77\00:22:21.50 and when she slapped it on my scalp 00:22:21.54\00:22:23.47 and it was hot outside in New York, 00:22:23.51\00:22:25.24 and you start sweating 00:22:25.27\00:22:26.61 what will happen to that grease?
