You can do this. 00:05:44.47\00:05:48.64 And we get our cucumbers, lay them down, 00:05:48.68\00:05:54.48 our carrots... 00:05:54.52\00:05:55.98 And then we roll them. 00:06:02.12\00:06:05.06 And since the zucchini has been sitting a little bit, 00:06:05.09\00:06:08.43 they are real limp, 00:06:08.46\00:06:09.96 so you can roll them quite easy. 00:06:10.00\00:06:15.17 So we're through with that one. 00:15:39.90\00:15:41.24 And when you eat that, it breaks it down. 00:15:41.27\00:15:43.71 And, you know, when a person is having 00:15:43.74\00:15:45.07 like a heart attack or stroke or something, 00:15:45.11\00:15:47.21 they put a nitrous patch on them. 00:15:47.24\00:15:50.01 Well, pumpkin seeds work similar to that, all right? 00:15:50.05\00:15:52.95 Now let's call our time out. 00:15:52.98\00:15:54.32 I'm not telling you, 00:15:54.35\00:15:55.68 anytime you see somebody having a stroke 00:15:55.72\00:15:57.05 or heart attack or something, 00:15:57.09\00:15:58.42 just run and try to stuff down some pumpkin seeds, 00:15:58.45\00:15:59.89 a little too late at that point, 00:15:59.92\00:16:01.39 get them to the hospital. 00:16:01.42\00:16:02.76 But it's very good 00:16:02.79\00:16:04.13 for protecting the heart as well. 00:16:04.16\00:16:06.16 So enough of the stories with this pumpkin. 00:16:06.19\00:16:09.36 I want some all my, I love me some pumpkin pie. 00:16:09.40\00:16:13.13 So we're going to show you a nice delicious simple recipe 00:16:13.17\00:16:16.20 that you all can enjoy to make yourself 00:16:16.24\00:16:18.61 something that's delicious, what? 00:16:18.64\00:16:20.64 The delicious pumpkin pie. 00:16:20.68\00:16:22.04 Here's the simple recipe that you all can enjoy. 00:16:22.08\00:16:25.78 The ingredients are really simple. 00:16:25.81\00:16:27.65 All you need is... 00:16:27.68\00:16:29.25 There it is, really simple, really easy. 00:16:51.14\00:16:53.24 You all can do this. 00:16:53.27\00:16:54.88 Matter of fact, man, I am excited, 00:16:54.91\00:16:56.58 I'm going to move this out of the way. 00:16:56.61\00:16:57.95 I would normally go ahead and cut this up 00:16:57.98\00:16:59.61 and do that but because of time, 00:16:59.65\00:17:01.22 we're going to do a little shortcut. 00:17:01.25\00:17:02.58 I already have the cashews and the water 00:17:02.62\00:17:05.59 and a maple syrup here. 00:17:05.62\00:17:07.09 If you don't have maple syrup, you can use agave. 00:17:07.12\00:17:09.82 Try a little honey. 00:17:09.86\00:17:11.19 Honey has that little extra flavor to it. 00:17:11.23\00:17:12.56 So you can use that as well. 00:17:12.59\00:17:13.93 And basically, what we're gonna do, 00:17:13.96\00:17:15.30 we're gonna just take these items 00:17:15.33\00:17:16.67 and we're gonna blend it up, 00:17:16.70\00:17:18.03 you've probably seen it 00:17:18.07\00:17:19.40 before when you make cashew milk or cashew cream. 00:17:19.43\00:17:20.77 It's the same basic principle to get this one started. 00:17:20.80\00:17:22.64 So here we go. 00:17:22.67\00:17:24.57 Now real quick, you're going to get 00:17:46.26\00:17:47.60 a nice little consistency there. 00:17:47.63\00:17:49.90 It doesn't have to be super creamy. 00:17:49.93\00:17:51.53 As you see, we have the liquid, 00:17:51.57\00:17:52.90 because we have the pumpkin puree 00:17:52.93\00:17:54.57 that is going to be a little thicker. 00:17:54.60\00:17:57.07 Then we're going to add of course, 00:17:57.11\00:17:58.44 the arrowroot or cornstarch now. 00:17:58.47\00:18:00.68 So if you notice, I really don't use 00:18:00.71\00:18:02.48 too much cornstarch in our recipes, 00:18:02.51\00:18:05.11 because what does cornstarch do? 00:18:05.15\00:18:06.68 Cornstarch causes things to thicken, yeah. 00:18:06.72\00:18:09.75 And so if you cause things to thicken on the outside, 00:18:09.78\00:18:13.62 they're more than likely, 00:18:13.66\00:18:14.99 if you use it consistently too much all the time, 00:18:15.02\00:18:17.66 they're going to be thickening on the inside. 00:18:17.69\00:18:19.03 And you want to... 00:18:19.06\00:18:20.40 "Well, I'm eating all this healthy food 00:18:20.43\00:18:21.76 but I haven't been to the bathroom." 00:18:21.80\00:18:23.13 No, no, I'm talking about number two 00:18:23.16\00:18:24.50 in the past three days 00:18:24.53\00:18:25.87 because you probably using too much cornstarch 00:18:25.90\00:18:27.24 or arrowroot or something. 00:18:27.27\00:18:28.60 So you can use it once in a while 00:18:28.64\00:18:29.97 for special occasions, 00:18:30.01\00:18:31.34 we just say hold off using it all the time. 00:18:31.37\00:18:33.17 Then we're going to add our coriander. 00:18:33.21\00:18:36.78 But you can do the coriander cardamom mix 00:18:36.81\00:18:39.31 because what really makes that pumpkin pie pop 00:18:39.35\00:18:42.38 is that cinnamon and nutmeg. 00:18:42.42\00:18:45.42 But as you've heard a million times over, 00:18:45.45\00:18:47.96 we hold off on using excess cinnamon and nutmeg 00:18:47.99\00:18:51.09 because it does irritate a little bit 00:18:51.13\00:18:52.99 the digestive tract. 00:18:53.03\00:18:54.36 But man, it surely does taste good. 00:18:54.40\00:18:56.46 So what do we use instead? 00:18:56.50\00:18:58.17 We use what is known, 00:18:58.20\00:19:00.24 instead of cinnamon, we use coriander. 00:19:00.27\00:19:02.77 And instead of nutmeg, 00:19:02.80\00:19:04.67 we use cardamom which is gentle 00:19:04.71\00:19:07.51 and, you know, a little easier on the digestive tract. 00:19:07.54\00:19:11.11 Now the taste will be similar to be milder, 00:19:11.15\00:19:14.28 won't be that strong hard taste that you used to having. 00:19:14.32\00:19:16.85 But at least the digestive tract 00:19:16.89\00:19:18.22 is not bubbling, 00:19:18.25\00:19:19.59 you know, what I'm talking about bubbling 00:19:19.62\00:19:20.96 and being irritated. 00:19:20.99\00:19:22.32 So you can do that. 00:19:22.36\00:19:23.69 And it's a real simple way to make your mixes 00:19:23.73\00:19:27.10 there instead of nutmeg, 00:19:27.13\00:19:28.86 again we'll use cardamom and instead of cinnamon, 00:19:28.90\00:19:30.80 we use coriander. 00:19:30.83\00:19:32.17 So I just did a little mix, 00:19:32.20\00:19:33.54 a little bit of cardamom and coriander. 00:19:33.57\00:19:35.54 So I'm going to put that in there, 00:19:35.57\00:19:36.91 it's gonna give it that nice flavor. 00:19:36.94\00:19:38.87 And, man, that arrow root there is already thickening it. 00:19:38.91\00:19:42.04 You don't want to blend it too much 00:19:42.08\00:19:43.41 but with just a little whip there real quick. 00:19:43.45\00:19:45.78 All right, so there we go. So we have that. 00:19:51.15\00:19:53.66 Then we're gonna take our pumpkin 00:19:53.69\00:19:56.62 and we're going to use about... 00:19:56.66\00:19:58.13 How much we want to use? 00:19:58.16\00:19:59.49 We want to use about a cup or two. 00:19:59.53\00:20:01.96 So here we go. 00:20:02.00\00:20:03.57 I just went ahead and purchased the pumpkin 00:20:03.60\00:20:08.44 that you find in the stores, 00:20:08.47\00:20:09.90 it's simple, it's easy, sometimes. 00:20:09.94\00:20:12.31 I want to have pumpkin pie and it's not the holiday 00:20:12.34\00:20:15.48 and it's not pumpkin season. 00:20:15.51\00:20:16.95 So I use this and if you look at the ingredients, 00:20:16.98\00:20:19.35 it's basically, ingredient pumpkin, that's it. 00:20:19.38\00:20:23.08 They don't add much of anything to it. 00:20:23.12\00:20:25.42 So you can go ahead and enjoy that. 00:20:25.45\00:20:27.19 And so I have about a half a cup, 00:20:27.22\00:20:28.56 so I'm gonna put one there and I'm going to do... 00:20:28.59\00:20:32.63 So that's about one cup. 00:20:32.66\00:20:34.30 I'm going to be a little extra generous here. 00:20:34.33\00:20:36.63 And that's about two. 00:20:36.67\00:20:39.17 All right, two and a half, all right. 00:20:39.20\00:20:41.04 So here we go. So I have a little smaller pie. 00:20:41.07\00:20:44.01 So we're gonna do that 00:20:44.04\00:20:45.97 and then we're going to add 00:20:46.01\00:20:48.81 our cane juice crystals to this as well. 00:20:48.84\00:20:52.45 So we have our cane juice crystals. 00:20:52.48\00:20:55.18 put that in there 00:20:55.22\00:20:56.99 And, you know, I know I said Florida, 00:20:57.02\00:20:59.62 but I mean, any evaporated cane juice crystal 00:20:59.65\00:21:03.49 should do the job. 00:21:03.53\00:21:05.06 And look at that's going to come out nice 00:21:05.09\00:21:06.43 and thick there. 00:21:06.46\00:21:07.80 So we're going to move that. 00:21:07.83\00:21:09.16 And then we're going to mix it up. 00:21:09.20\00:21:10.53 This is so easy. 00:21:10.57\00:21:11.90 As a matter of fact, everybody can enjoy this. 00:21:11.93\00:21:13.40 The kids can enjoy this. 00:21:13.44\00:21:15.50 I know a lot of times, we like that sweet potato pie, 00:21:15.54\00:21:18.37 I think we made that some time ago. 00:21:18.41\00:21:20.11 But now you can enjoy the pumpkin. 00:21:20.14\00:21:22.04 I can't believe you're having dessert, 00:21:22.08\00:21:24.21 and you're lowering your blood pressure, 00:21:24.25\00:21:26.68 your fight against parasites, and all of that good stuff. 00:21:26.72\00:21:30.55 And a lot of people don't realize that. 00:21:30.59\00:21:32.59 Pumpkin also, especially those that pumpkin seed 00:21:32.62\00:21:36.52 is very good for the prostate. 00:21:36.56\00:21:38.43 So, gentlemen, get yourself checked out, 00:21:38.46\00:21:42.16 number one with that prostate, 00:21:42.20\00:21:44.07 get your annual screening there. 00:21:44.10\00:21:45.60 I know we don't like to go and get that stuff tested. 00:21:45.63\00:21:48.20 You don't like some you don't mind another man, 00:21:48.24\00:21:50.87 you know, put in on his gloves and tell you take a deep breath 00:21:50.91\00:21:54.11 and release it 00:21:54.14\00:21:55.48 and he stick in finger all up in areas 00:21:55.51\00:21:57.71 where it doesn't belong, but watch this. 00:21:57.75\00:22:00.22 I know nobody likes to talk about it. 00:22:00.25\00:22:01.92 But it's better that you get yourself checked out. 00:22:01.95\00:22:03.95 What they are checking for as they go in... 00:22:03.99\00:22:06.19 We're in the kitchen but we got to keep it real. 00:22:06.22\00:22:07.99 As they go in, they're trying to see 00:22:08.02\00:22:09.36 if that prostate gland has been enlarged 00:22:09.39\00:22:11.29 and so they can feel that there. 00:22:11.33\00:22:12.66 So watch this. 00:22:12.69\00:22:14.03 It's better to let the doctor go ahead and do it 00:22:14.06\00:22:15.90 instead of being under a knife 00:22:15.93\00:22:17.73 when a person has prostate cancer 00:22:17.77\00:22:19.37 and they're chopping things up 00:22:19.40\00:22:20.84 and things are not functioning ever 00:22:20.87\00:22:22.50 the way they should again. 00:22:22.54\00:22:23.87 So please get yourself checked out. 00:22:23.91\00:22:25.67 Or you know what, 00:22:25.71\00:22:27.04 get yourself checked out and have some pumpkin pie 00:22:27.08\00:22:28.98 and enjoy the pumpkin seeds, the raw ones as well. 00:22:29.01\00:22:31.55 So here we go, 00:22:31.58\00:22:32.91 oops I'm making a mess in the kitchen. 00:22:32.95\00:22:34.88 What you basically do... 00:22:34.92\00:22:37.19 Now, you know. 00:22:37.22\00:22:39.52 I enjoy cooking 00:22:39.55\00:22:40.89 but I don't like to unnecessarily cook. 00:22:40.92\00:22:42.56 So I found that 00:22:42.59\00:22:43.93 there were some really good pie crusts already made, 00:22:43.96\00:22:47.33 some of them could even be vegan. 00:22:47.36\00:22:49.36 You've seen us do many pie crust 00:22:49.40\00:22:51.20 before with the water, 00:22:51.23\00:22:52.57 with the flour, little bit of salt, 00:22:52.60\00:22:54.07 little bit of sugar, cane juice crystals, 00:22:54.10\00:22:56.37 and you can roll it out. 00:22:56.40\00:22:57.74 But here, I'm just needed something quick, 00:22:57.77\00:22:59.11 you have family coming over, you want that pumpkin pie. 00:22:59.14\00:23:01.14 So you can find a nice pre-made pie crust. 00:23:01.18\00:23:06.11 But you can do it yourself as well. 00:23:06.15\00:23:07.72 For a second of course, 00:23:07.75\00:23:09.08 we're going to go ahead 00:23:09.12\00:23:10.45 and we're just going to pour that in. 00:23:10.49\00:23:12.02 You all can follow along.
