00:11:51.07\00:11:52.41 Channa. 00:11:52.44\00:11:53.78 Channa, for those who know what channa is. 00:11:53.81\00:11:55.14 Here's the simple recipe on how you can make 00:11:55.18\00:11:57.01 some of your roasted chickpea nuts or channa. 00:11:57.05\00:11:59.51 All you need is: 00:11:59.55\00:12:00.88 So we have our channa here. 00:12:24.14\00:12:26.68 This is one of my favorites. 00:12:26.71\00:12:28.18 You can use this for hummus, you can use it over a salad. 00:12:28.21\00:12:32.41 And booming with protein, 00:12:32.45\00:12:34.38 fantastic nut that everybody can enjoy. 00:12:34.42\00:12:37.72 All you basically do is 00:12:37.75\00:12:39.09 take the cooked ones, all right? 00:12:39.12\00:12:40.46 So if you don't have it in a can or something, 00:12:40.49\00:12:43.09 if you do get it in a can, wash it out, of course. 00:12:43.12\00:12:45.49 And then you can use it. 00:12:45.53\00:12:46.93 But if you don't have that, then just buy the dried one. 00:12:46.96\00:12:49.60 It's actually cheaper for you than anything. 00:12:49.63\00:12:52.03 You can buy a whole big bag for next to nothing. 00:12:52.07\00:12:54.64 You soak it overnight, 00:12:54.67\00:12:56.00 wash out the water, and then you boil it, 00:12:56.04\00:12:57.37 then you will have your cooked chickpeas or channa there. 00:12:57.41\00:13:01.01 Then you would add some of the other ingredients. 00:13:01.04\00:13:03.21 We talked about the lemon juice. 00:13:03.24\00:13:04.58 So we're gonna pour some of that lemon juice over this. 00:13:04.61\00:13:07.52 At the end, it gives it that little kick. 00:13:07.55\00:13:09.62 Then we're gonna add some of that powder, 00:13:09.65\00:13:12.19 either onion powder, garlic powder, you decide. 00:13:12.22\00:13:15.39 Whatever you want to add to that, it's fine. 00:13:15.42\00:13:17.59 Then you can also use some paprika. 00:13:17.63\00:13:19.79 Everybody know what paprika is? 00:13:19.83\00:13:21.56 Paprika is basically dried bell peppers, 00:13:21.60\00:13:26.63 the red bell peppers. 00:13:26.67\00:13:28.00 So this would be loaded with antioxidants, 00:13:28.04\00:13:29.44 vitamin C as well. 00:13:29.47\00:13:31.27 And then we're gonna add some salt to that also. 00:13:31.31\00:13:34.68 Okay.
