Have you ever wondered exactly how to prepare healthy food 00:00:01.36\00:00:03.93 that actually tastes good? 00:00:03.97\00:00:05.77 Well, stay tuned while Evita Tezeno 00:00:05.80\00:00:07.70 and yours truly Nyse Collins show you 00:00:07.74\00:00:09.44 just how to do it and give you something better, 00:00:09.47\00:00:12.27 A Taste of Paradise. 00:00:12.31\00:00:13.94 Welcome to A Taste of Paradise. My name is Evita Tezeno. 00:00:30.23\00:00:34.50 And don't we all love fries? 00:00:34.53\00:00:37.77 Yes, but fries do not love us, 00:00:37.80\00:00:39.73 they're high unsaturated fats and they're not good for us. 00:00:39.77\00:00:44.64 But today I'm gonna show you two variations of fries 00:00:44.67\00:00:48.78 that is very good for you. 00:00:48.81\00:00:50.95 First we're gonna use the jicama 00:00:50.98\00:00:53.75 and then second we're gonna use avocado. 00:00:53.78\00:00:56.48 So let's go to the jicama recipe first. 00:00:56.52\00:00:58.62 This is a real simple recipe. 00:01:17.94\00:01:21.31 Very, very, very easy and very quick. 00:01:21.34\00:01:24.11 So we have the jicama 00:01:24.15\00:01:26.61 cut into fries first in thin slices. 00:01:26.65\00:01:32.32 At first what I'm gonna show you 00:01:32.35\00:01:34.16 is how to cut a jicama. 00:01:34.19\00:01:36.56 It's real simple, it's a kind of hard fruit 00:01:36.59\00:01:42.00 but this is hard vegetable 00:01:42.03\00:01:44.90 but it is very easy to cut. 00:01:44.93\00:01:47.34 So you just cut it and just peel it back like this, 00:01:47.37\00:01:52.27 just real simple. 00:01:52.31\00:01:55.41 So after cutting the strips, you take the strips 00:01:55.44\00:01:59.11 and you just sprinkle on the olive oil first, 00:01:59.15\00:02:03.95 so the seasonings will stick to the jicama. 00:02:03.99\00:02:09.62 And just toss it around, 00:02:09.66\00:02:13.80 and I like to put the salt on first. 00:02:13.83\00:02:16.43 And we're using Himalayan salt, 00:02:20.57\00:02:23.47 'cause most of the white commercial salt 00:02:23.51\00:02:27.74 that's in the supermarkets are bleached. 00:02:27.78\00:02:32.08 Onion powder... 00:02:32.11\00:02:33.45 garlic, paprika 00:02:37.05\00:02:41.79 which gives it a wonderful red color, 00:02:41.82\00:02:47.53 little cayenne and chili powder. 00:02:47.56\00:02:51.90 I'm gonna save plating this to the end 00:03:03.55\00:03:05.61 so we could show each one of the recipes, 00:03:05.65\00:03:09.75 so now we're gonna go to the avocado fries. 00:03:09.78\00:03:12.69 Now this is a simple way to open up an avocado 00:03:37.78\00:03:43.05 and take the seed out, 00:03:43.08\00:03:44.45 you just twist it and it's simply easy. 00:03:44.49\00:03:49.26 And we're going to just, 00:03:49.29\00:03:51.93 slice the avocado in slices. 00:03:51.96\00:03:57.03 Avocado is my favorite fruit. 00:03:57.07\00:04:00.94 It's so creamy and delicious 00:04:00.97\00:04:03.34 and I eat it on almost everything. 00:04:03.37\00:04:06.61 So we're going to continue to cut the avocadoes in strips. 00:04:09.64\00:04:14.32 And this is a easy, this recipe is very easy 00:04:17.75\00:04:21.22 and you don't have to, 00:04:21.26\00:04:22.99 we're gonna use the dehydrator today, 00:04:23.02\00:04:24.49 but if you don't have a dehydrator, 00:04:24.53\00:04:27.90 we can serve it without dehydrating them. 00:04:27.93\00:04:33.40 So you want to put the flaxseed, 00:04:33.44\00:04:38.87 the onion powder, garlic powder, 00:04:38.91\00:04:42.91 chili powder, the salt, 00:04:42.94\00:04:48.12 the cumin, and the cayenne. 00:04:48.15\00:04:52.35 And mix it together. 00:04:52.39\00:04:54.52 And you want to just drop the avocadoes in 00:04:54.56\00:04:59.23 and coat them really, really well. 00:04:59.26\00:05:01.46 And after you've coated them, 00:05:08.74\00:05:11.94 you want to get to dehydrated sheet 00:05:11.97\00:05:15.14 and just place them on a dehydrated sheet, 00:05:15.18\00:05:18.48 place them on the sheet and dehydrate them overnight. 00:05:18.51\00:05:22.32 I will say it for about eight to ten hours. 00:05:22.35\00:05:28.72 And now we're gonna do some ketchup. 00:05:28.76\00:05:32.66 And the recipe for the ketchup: 00:05:32.69\00:05:34.50 So we want to put the softer 00:06:01.19\00:06:04.03 or the liquid ingredients in first. 00:06:04.06\00:06:07.60 So we're putting in the tomatoes, 00:06:07.63\00:06:09.56 and this is the water 00:06:09.60\00:06:10.93 from the soaked sun-dried tomatoes, 00:06:10.97\00:06:13.10 and I keep this because I use this in soups 00:06:13.13\00:06:17.14 and also in dressings and it's really good, 00:06:17.17\00:06:20.14 it adds a lot of flavor. 00:06:20.18\00:06:22.01 And the lemon juice... 00:06:22.04\00:06:23.75 the olive oil and the garlic. 00:06:27.65\00:06:33.32 We put the onions in, and then the dates. 00:06:51.44\00:06:57.21 And you want to do it in stages because you want to make sure 00:07:20.10\00:07:23.20 that all your ingredients are thoroughly blended. 00:07:23.24\00:07:28.31 And the last ingredient is the sun-dried tomatoes. 00:07:28.34\00:07:31.71 I'll give it a little stir. 00:07:45.16\00:07:47.06 So let's plate it. 00:08:00.98\00:08:02.31 These are the Avocado French fries. 00:08:05.91\00:08:12.02 The Jicama fries. 00:08:12.05\00:08:13.66 And put a little ketchup in here. 00:08:19.56\00:08:22.16 And I want to try one of them. 00:08:26.97\00:08:28.54 Very, very good. 00:08:32.97\00:08:35.74 Crunchy and you have a little spice. 00:08:35.78\00:08:39.91 These fries are so good 00:08:39.95\00:08:42.92 and you don't have to worry about fattening 00:08:42.95\00:08:46.79 or cholesterol because they are not fried. 00:08:46.82\00:08:52.69 They are vegetables and they are raw, 00:08:52.73\00:08:55.63 so remember to live life fresh. 00:08:55.66\00:09:01.17 Mama Mia Frutti Pizza. 00:09:07.88\00:09:10.15 I know you all are like, Nyse then, he had lost it now. 00:09:10.18\00:09:13.11 Yes, I did say frutti pizza, 00:09:13.15\00:09:15.22 and I'm not talking about the unpredictable fruit 00:09:15.25\00:09:17.39 that we done before, you know, the tomatoes 00:09:17.42\00:09:20.32 and avocado and a bell peppers and all of that stuff. 00:09:20.36\00:09:24.89 We're talking about frutti, frutti pizza. 00:09:24.93\00:09:27.73 Yes, you know that Italian runs in our blood, 00:09:27.76\00:09:29.70 so on every season you're gonna see something 00:09:29.73\00:09:31.63 that has to do with pizza, 00:09:31.67\00:09:34.07 or pasta, or something like that. 00:09:34.10\00:09:36.20 But this time we're gonna do a little twist to it. 00:09:36.24\00:09:39.61 Yes, we're gonna make a fruit pizza. 00:09:39.64\00:09:42.61 The one that tastes really, really good, 00:09:42.64\00:09:45.45 and I'm truly excited 00:09:45.48\00:09:47.02 because we're also gonna color it like a rainbow. 00:09:47.05\00:09:49.48 Many times you've noticed when you look at toppings, 00:09:49.52\00:09:51.75 it's just all dry and looking tired and stuff. 00:09:51.79\00:09:54.82 Well, this one is gonna be a fresh one. 00:09:54.86\00:09:56.93 Evita will be proud of us, she will be really so excited, 00:09:56.96\00:10:00.60 but there's only one thing 00:10:00.63\00:10:01.96 we did have to cook the crust a little bit, 00:10:02.00\00:10:03.87 but I know she'll forgive me 00:10:03.90\00:10:05.23 but everything else is living life fresh. 00:10:05.27\00:10:07.37 So you're gonna enjoy this one and a pizza is crucial. 00:10:07.40\00:10:11.44 Now a lot of people they... 00:10:11.47\00:10:13.04 When they're trying to live a healthy lifestyle, 00:10:13.07\00:10:14.78 they become a little sad sometimes 00:10:14.81\00:10:16.78 because they say, "Well, what do I do with my pizza?" 00:10:16.81\00:10:19.25 Because most times the pizza or a crust 00:10:19.28\00:10:21.45 or whatever it's made from white flour, 00:10:21.48\00:10:22.98 then you got all that is cheese on top of it 00:10:23.02\00:10:25.42 which is causing problems there with a cholesterol 00:10:25.45\00:10:27.56 and a blood pressure and stuff. 00:10:27.59\00:10:29.16 And they always say, "Man, I have to give up pizza." 00:10:29.19\00:10:31.79 Well, watch this, don't worry, 00:10:31.83\00:10:33.16 you don't have to give up anything anymore. 00:10:33.19\00:10:35.10 We already did the other type of pizza, 00:10:35.13\00:10:37.43 we call it a Pitha Pizza 00:10:37.47\00:10:39.20 but this one is gonna be a Frutti Pizza. 00:10:39.23\00:10:41.60 But one of the key ingredients now to the pizza is the crust. 00:10:41.64\00:10:45.94 I know you're about to say the sauce, 00:10:45.97\00:10:47.44 we're gonna get to that or a toppings, 00:10:47.48\00:10:49.74 but you need a very good crust. 00:10:49.78\00:10:52.58 And so in order to make this Frutti Pizza from Mama Mia, 00:10:52.61\00:10:56.58 we're gonna have to make a good crust. 00:10:56.62\00:10:58.02 So let's look at a simple recipe 00:10:58.05\00:10:59.99 that you can knock out 00:11:00.02\00:11:01.36 Mama Mia's Frutti Pizza, Pizza Crust. 00:11:01.39\00:11:03.66 All you need is: 00:11:03.69\00:11:05.03 Oil as simple as that. 00:11:19.34\00:11:21.08 Yes, that's all you need to make this crust. 00:11:21.11\00:11:23.68 This thing is simple, of course you know what it is, 00:11:23.71\00:11:26.18 it's the thin crust. 00:11:26.21\00:11:27.55 We're gonna do the thin crust today, 00:11:27.58\00:11:28.92 but this crust taste so good, 00:11:28.95\00:11:30.29 it's almost like communion bread. 00:11:30.32\00:11:31.69 All right, don't get in me trouble, 00:11:31.72\00:11:33.05 don't tell my pastor I said that. 00:11:33.09\00:11:34.42 But this is good stuff, so what we're gonna do 00:11:34.46\00:11:36.49 is we're gonna take the flour, 00:11:36.52\00:11:37.86 we're just gonna pour those in here. 00:11:37.89\00:11:39.59 All right, so we have the unbleached 00:11:39.63\00:11:41.03 and we have the whole wheat flour, 00:11:41.06\00:11:42.83 then we're gonna go ahead, 00:11:42.86\00:11:44.20 we're gonna put that salt in there, the sea salt as well. 00:11:44.23\00:11:47.64 And we're gonna mix those items up nicely there. 00:11:47.67\00:11:50.74 Just make sure you do it properly, 00:11:50.77\00:11:52.11 so we get no salty spots in our crust there. 00:11:52.14\00:11:54.84 And then we're gonna a make a little, you know me, 00:11:54.88\00:11:58.11 I always like to make some little hole here. 00:11:58.15\00:12:00.05 We're gonna take the water, 00:12:00.08\00:12:01.42 we're gonna put the water in there, 00:12:01.45\00:12:02.85 and also we're gonna take the oil, all right, olive oil. 00:12:02.88\00:12:07.02 Use what you want there but preferably, you know, 00:12:07.06\00:12:10.33 they say the king of all oils is the olive oil. 00:12:10.36\00:12:13.76 All right, so we're gonna mix those up, 00:12:13.80\00:12:15.46 we're gonna get like a nice little dough. 00:12:15.50\00:12:17.20 You can't have pizza without the crust, 00:12:17.23\00:12:19.47 because it has a good dough. 00:12:19.50\00:12:21.80 So you not know, frozen one 00:12:21.84\00:12:23.47 prepared for you already in the store, 00:12:23.51\00:12:25.51 this one we'll make it from scratch, 00:12:25.54\00:12:27.14 and I encourage you to get the kids involve. 00:12:27.18\00:12:30.38 Unfortunately you ask the kids, "Where does pizza come from?" 00:12:30.41\00:12:33.11 "From that pizza shop, 00:12:33.15\00:12:34.48 from this company, that company." 00:12:34.52\00:12:35.95 I'm not gonna do any promotion here today, 00:12:35.98\00:12:37.49 they already did enough. 00:12:37.52\00:12:38.85 And they don't realize 00:12:38.89\00:12:40.22 that they can make the pizza themselves. 00:12:40.26\00:12:41.92 Matter of fact this crust is so good, 00:12:41.96\00:12:43.43 let's say you didn't want to put fruit topping on it, 00:12:43.46\00:12:45.76 you could put the other toppings as well, 00:12:45.79\00:12:47.56 so please get, 00:12:47.60\00:12:49.06 you may write this down and apply it. 00:12:49.10\00:12:51.33 You see right here it's gonna get nice and thick, 00:12:51.37\00:12:53.34 this is your dough, 00:12:53.37\00:12:54.70 and you know what's gonna happen today. 00:12:54.74\00:12:56.30 I'm gonna have to get my hands dirty 00:12:56.34\00:12:58.97 because we have to knead it properly 00:12:59.01\00:13:00.88 so it comes out really nice 00:13:00.91\00:13:02.28 but you see I'm trying to do as much as I can without, 00:13:02.31\00:13:05.95 so I'm gonna put this down. 00:13:05.98\00:13:07.32 It's time to get dirty in a kitchen. 00:13:07.35\00:13:09.45 And if you come out of the kitchen not dirty, 00:13:09.48\00:13:11.05 you wasn't cooking, all right, 00:13:11.09\00:13:12.42 so I'm gonna take that, remove this bowl, 00:13:12.45\00:13:15.06 I'm gonna get that going right there. 00:13:15.09\00:13:16.42 We're just gonna get it to nice consistency there 00:13:16.46\00:13:18.93 which I want to mix it properly. 00:13:18.96\00:13:21.16 Oh, man, look at that. The kids will love this. 00:13:21.20\00:13:24.10 And I guarantee you this. 00:13:24.13\00:13:25.47 If you teach them now how to do it, 00:13:25.50\00:13:28.07 man, they will make this for the rest of their life. 00:13:28.10\00:13:29.84 They'll make it for generations, 00:13:29.87\00:13:31.37 to the third and fourth generations. 00:13:31.41\00:13:33.14 The curses are not the only thing 00:13:33.17\00:13:35.08 that run in a family, 00:13:35.11\00:13:36.44 but the blessings do too, 00:13:36.48\00:13:37.91 and you can do that by teaching your kids. 00:13:37.95\00:13:40.88 Please take some time out. 00:13:40.92\00:13:42.88 They say the family that prays together, 00:13:42.92\00:13:44.25 stay together. 00:13:44.29\00:13:45.62 I want to take it to the next step. 00:13:45.65\00:13:46.99 Well, what did they do 00:13:47.02\00:13:48.36 when they're about to eat, they pray. 00:13:48.39\00:13:49.72 So they pray then they eat, 00:13:49.76\00:13:51.09 so the family that eats and cooks together 00:13:51.13\00:13:53.29 will definitely by God's grace only stay together. 00:13:53.33\00:13:56.53 So what we have there is the nice pizza dough, 00:13:56.56\00:14:00.87 and we're gonna get all in it. 00:14:00.90\00:14:03.30 Forgive me it's not going to be the prettiest thing right now. 00:14:03.34\00:14:06.14 Well, work with me. 00:14:06.17\00:14:07.58 And then you know how we do it up, 00:14:07.61\00:14:09.14 I'm making a mess here. 00:14:09.18\00:14:10.81 You know, how we do, we're trying to... 00:14:10.85\00:14:12.51 try to get that going 00:14:12.55\00:14:14.25 and you just make it round and round and round. 00:14:14.28\00:14:16.89 Oh, man, long time ago my mom had me making this stuff, 00:14:16.92\00:14:20.22 hundreds of them for the community. 00:14:20.26\00:14:22.36 And I'm like, "Mom, these guys could cook for themselves. 00:14:22.39\00:14:25.19 Why are we cooking so much food for the community?" 00:14:25.23\00:14:28.16 She said, "Just do it son." 00:14:28.20\00:14:29.56 And you know back then, it was miracle 00:14:29.60\00:14:32.47 that I was able to even ask a question, 00:14:32.50\00:14:34.10 normally you don't ask question. 00:14:34.14\00:14:35.47 You just do it as mama said. 00:14:35.50\00:14:36.84 And so we always made food for the community. 00:14:36.87\00:14:39.64 We used to make what is known as roti, okay. 00:14:39.67\00:14:42.24 You know, my mom is from Trinidad, 00:14:42.28\00:14:43.61 so we make roti, 00:14:43.65\00:14:44.98 hundreds of roti and bread and all the stuff. 00:14:45.01\00:14:47.85 And I'm like, "Mom, you're spoiling these people. 00:14:47.88\00:14:50.29 They can make their own." 00:14:50.32\00:14:51.95 And she said, "Son, just do as I say." 00:14:51.99\00:14:54.32 And real quick before I finish my story. 00:14:54.36\00:14:55.82 We're gonna take this item, the dough 00:14:55.86\00:14:58.03 we're gonna put that on there. 00:14:58.06\00:14:59.39 We're gonna make it even more now. 00:14:59.43\00:15:01.13 And she said, "Just do as I say." 00:15:01.16\00:15:02.86 And so after a while I notice she would feed a community, 00:15:02.90\00:15:05.70 literally there will be lines at our door. 00:15:05.73\00:15:08.40 Lines of people at our door 00:15:08.44\00:15:10.47 going ahead and eating all of our food. 00:15:10.51\00:15:13.24 But you know what happened when the crusade time came. 00:15:13.27\00:15:16.04 Well, they had an evangelistic series 00:15:16.08\00:15:17.75 in the area. 00:15:17.78\00:15:19.11 All my mom had to do is like, hello, everybody. 00:15:19.15\00:15:21.78 They say, yes Mrs. Jodes. 00:15:21.82\00:15:23.39 She says, I'm going to church, you want to come with me? 00:15:23.42\00:15:25.55 They say, sure let's go. 00:15:25.59\00:15:27.29 And literally, you remember the lines 00:15:27.32\00:15:28.66 that was at our door for food, 00:15:28.69\00:15:30.33 there was literally a line of people 00:15:30.36\00:15:32.16 following mom to church. 00:15:32.19\00:15:34.00 And I said, oh, she thinks she is smart. 00:15:34.03\00:15:36.97 But when you look at the life of Jesus, 00:15:37.00\00:15:38.40 he fed the people. 00:15:38.43\00:15:39.77 He fed them, he met their needs 00:15:39.80\00:15:41.87 and as a result, what did he say? 00:15:41.90\00:15:43.64 Come and follow, he begged them to follow. 00:15:43.67\00:15:45.81 So I think you all should do it. 00:15:45.84\00:15:47.58 Now I truly understand what it means by what? 00:15:47.61\00:15:50.25 There is more religion in a loaf of bread, 00:15:50.28\00:15:53.28 but I'm gonna change it up. 00:15:53.31\00:15:54.65 There's more religion in our frutti pizza 00:15:54.68\00:15:57.69 than anywhere that you can say, so when you make this, 00:15:57.72\00:16:00.26 make enough for everybody, your neighbors, your friend, 00:16:00.29\00:16:03.53 invite them over and man, you're gonna have a good time. 00:16:03.56\00:16:07.23 So here we go, there is our pizza dough, 00:16:07.26\00:16:09.96 it looks a little suspect you know, we'll work with it. 00:16:10.00\00:16:13.30 You're not gonna be looking at the dough 00:16:13.34\00:16:14.87 when it's all done, 00:16:14.90\00:16:16.24 you're gonna look at the frutti pizza. 00:16:16.27\00:16:17.61 So what you're gonna do, you're gonna take this, 00:16:17.64\00:16:18.97 put this in an oven at about 300-350 degrees 00:16:19.01\00:16:21.78 until it becomes, don't cook too much 00:16:21.81\00:16:24.08 but it has to be nice and ready there. 00:16:24.11\00:16:26.61 And I'll show you a little example 00:16:26.65\00:16:28.15 how can you tell that is not too doughy 00:16:28.18\00:16:30.55 because you don't want 00:16:30.59\00:16:32.95 to come out to early with doughy. 00:16:32.99\00:16:34.89 You wanted to come with Nyse, 00:16:34.92\00:16:36.26 so you take your fork and you stick it in there 00:16:36.29\00:16:38.29 so make sure it's ready to roll, 00:16:38.33\00:16:39.66 and this is it, this is it. 00:16:39.69\00:16:41.73 This is ready, your dough was done and finished. 00:16:41.76\00:16:44.43 Now this dough is so good or this crust is so good, 00:16:44.47\00:16:48.20 literally you can eat it by yourself. 00:16:48.24\00:16:50.34 I'm telling I think this may be the same recipe for community, 00:16:50.37\00:16:53.61 I don't know somebody tell me, let me know. 00:16:53.64\00:16:55.48 But this thing is so good. 00:16:55.51\00:16:57.08 You take a piece of that, put it in your mouth, 00:16:57.11\00:16:58.98 it melts in your mouth. 00:16:59.01\00:17:01.08 And this is the key also 00:17:01.12\00:17:02.68 for using whole grain items or whatever 00:17:02.72\00:17:05.99 because digestion begins in a mouth. 00:17:06.02\00:17:07.69 Let me explain real quick what I mean. 00:17:07.72\00:17:11.16 With whole grain items they need to be cook properly 00:17:11.19\00:17:13.36 like a lot of people these days, 00:17:13.40\00:17:15.03 they're into this like raw oats, 00:17:15.06\00:17:16.97 and raw this and raw that 00:17:17.00\00:17:18.77 and that's good like the fresh fruits 00:17:18.80\00:17:20.80 that Evita has been cooking. 00:17:20.84\00:17:22.47 But let's look at oats per se real quick with the oats. 00:17:22.50\00:17:25.77 When we look at oats, oats need proper cooking, why? 00:17:25.81\00:17:29.71 Because digestion, 00:17:29.74\00:17:31.65 when you don't cook it properly, 00:17:31.68\00:17:33.11 this is oats now, all right. 00:17:33.15\00:17:34.98 When you don't cook it properly 00:17:35.02\00:17:36.79 as a result it doesn't digest properly, all right. 00:17:36.82\00:17:39.79 So now what we want to do, 00:17:39.82\00:17:41.29 they say sometimes like about one to two, 00:17:41.32\00:17:43.29 maybe two hours is a good time to bake down those oats. 00:17:43.32\00:17:46.80 One person says, I don't believe you, 00:17:46.83\00:17:48.80 you're making a stuff up. 00:17:48.83\00:17:50.43 I said, look in the Spirit of prophecy 00:17:50.47\00:17:52.13 there's a book called Ministry of Healing 00:17:52.17\00:17:53.70 or Counsels on Diet and Foods. 00:17:53.74\00:17:55.07 It said, grains used for porridge 00:17:55.10\00:17:57.11 or mush should have several hours of cooking. 00:17:57.14\00:17:58.91 All right, and thus those items the stuff that Evita is making, 00:17:58.94\00:18:02.04 for normal that don't need any cooking, 00:18:02.08\00:18:03.55 just eat it. 00:18:03.58\00:18:04.91 But the grains need cooking and as a result 00:18:04.95\00:18:06.78 it starts to breakdown those that whole grain 00:18:06.82\00:18:10.92 there in your mouth. 00:18:10.95\00:18:12.29 Let me just tell you a little story. 00:18:12.32\00:18:13.66 Anybody ever went to communion and when you went to communion 00:18:13.69\00:18:16.36 like you were so hungry that as a result you know, 00:18:16.39\00:18:20.16 when they pass the communion tray, 00:18:20.20\00:18:22.56 you ever noticed how some people 00:18:22.60\00:18:24.03 now don't look to anybody. 00:18:24.07\00:18:25.40 They'll be looking into tray, they'll be like. 00:18:25.43\00:18:27.20 What are they looking for? 00:18:27.24\00:18:28.57 They want the biggest piece of communion 00:18:28.60\00:18:30.11 and when I was young as small before you were around, 00:18:30.14\00:18:32.71 I used to be like man, 00:18:32.74\00:18:34.08 she looked for the biggest piece. 00:18:34.11\00:18:35.48 She must have sinned really bad. 00:18:35.51\00:18:37.91 Well, I didn't know there was some people forgive me, 00:18:37.95\00:18:40.65 I was a kid, that's all I was thinking. 00:18:40.68\00:18:42.02 I was like man, she is greedy. 00:18:42.05\00:18:43.82 And I realize she'll be greedy but she wasn't of course. 00:18:43.85\00:18:46.55 You know, may be she just want to make things right. 00:18:46.59\00:18:48.32 But do you ever notice when the pastor said, 00:18:48.36\00:18:50.43 hey, now you may partake. 00:18:50.46\00:18:52.13 Now when you ate that bread, did you just chew it down 00:18:52.16\00:18:55.56 and swallow it real quick, you were like no, 00:18:55.60\00:18:57.43 because you were little hungry and you know, 00:18:57.47\00:18:58.93 it was a special sacred moment there, 00:18:58.97\00:19:00.74 but you let it sit in a mouth and start chewing it, 00:19:00.77\00:19:03.71 you do it like literally chew that thing 00:19:03.74\00:19:05.27 so you couldn't chew it anymore. 00:19:05.31\00:19:06.64 And it started to taste what, sweet. 00:19:06.68\00:19:09.21 It wasn't that the sister added sugar to it, 00:19:09.24\00:19:12.08 but when you start breaking down the grains 00:19:12.11\00:19:14.68 or the starches, they turn into what? 00:19:14.72\00:19:17.75 Yes, you got it right. 00:19:17.79\00:19:19.12 It turns into the glucose 00:19:19.15\00:19:20.62 because digestion begins where everybody? 00:19:20.66\00:19:22.62 In the mouth. 00:19:22.66\00:19:24.59 So this is why at least with the whole grains 00:19:24.63\00:19:26.93 such as oats, those need proper cooking, all right. 00:19:26.96\00:19:30.30 So I hope, people are like, what? 00:19:30.33\00:19:32.80 No more raw oats. Here's how you can do it. 00:19:32.83\00:19:34.80 If you like to eat the oats like it is, 00:19:34.84\00:19:36.60 then take it when you buy it, put it on a flat tray, 00:19:36.64\00:19:39.44 put it in the oven, toast it on low heat 00:19:39.47\00:19:42.04 for about 200 or 250. 00:19:42.08\00:19:44.21 Don't cook it to death now, 00:19:44.25\00:19:45.78 just toast it so then when it's time to eat, 00:19:45.81\00:19:48.18 you'll notice that it starts to taste sweet. 00:19:48.22\00:19:51.05 Who could tell me why it tasted sweet 00:19:51.09\00:19:52.49 from our class that we just had? 00:19:52.52\00:19:54.02 Because you are now digesting the oats, or the whole grain. 00:19:54.06\00:20:00.40 Enough of digestion one-on-one. 00:20:00.43\00:20:01.76 Let's get back to the Frutti Mama Mia pizza, all right. 00:20:01.80\00:20:04.53 So now we have our crust here 00:20:04.57\00:20:06.50 and what we need to do, you ready? 00:20:06.53\00:20:08.97 I'm over here, I'm looking because I need my blender. 00:20:09.00\00:20:11.77 What we need to do 00:20:11.81\00:20:13.14 is we need to make a sauce for it. 00:20:13.17\00:20:15.81 All right, and a sauce is crucial. 00:20:15.84\00:20:17.81 You remember the key to pizza is in the what? 00:20:17.85\00:20:20.72 In the sauce. 00:20:20.75\00:20:22.08 So here it is a simple, simple frutti pizza sauce 00:20:22.12\00:20:26.62 for you from Mama Mia. 00:20:26.65\00:20:28.22 All you need is: 00:20:28.26\00:20:29.59 Yes, that's all you need for the whipped cream 00:20:50.15\00:20:53.42 and as a result you want to have your toppings, 00:20:53.45\00:20:55.98 the key is your toppings, 00:20:56.02\00:20:57.35 color your plate like a rainbow. 00:20:57.39\00:20:58.72 We're gonna get into that here in a second. 00:20:58.75\00:21:00.09 But let's go ahead and make this 00:21:00.12\00:21:01.46 so you take the oil. 00:21:01.49\00:21:02.82 Now, we've been using a little oil here this season, 00:21:02.86\00:21:06.29 and the reason why sometimes 00:21:06.33\00:21:08.10 is because we notice that some people, 00:21:08.13\00:21:10.50 they may only eat items 00:21:10.53\00:21:12.17 that doesn't have a little bit of fat in it 00:21:12.20\00:21:14.24 and as a result they get hungry quite rapidly. 00:21:14.27\00:21:17.54 So as a result fats take a little bit longer to digest, 00:21:17.57\00:21:21.14 they don't digest in a stomach they digest in intestine there. 00:21:21.18\00:21:24.25 So we want to make sure we have a little bit of fat, 00:21:24.28\00:21:26.38 and so if you do use the fat, make sure it's the good one, 00:21:26.41\00:21:29.45 like that one the olive oil, okay. 00:21:29.48\00:21:31.75 But if you don't want to use that, 00:21:31.79\00:21:33.12 then you can go ahead and just do some nuts, 00:21:33.15\00:21:34.82 may be cashews or something like that. 00:21:34.86\00:21:37.46 I ran out, so I'm sorry, I couldn't make it. 00:21:37.49\00:21:39.83 All right, then I have some evaporated cane juice crystals. 00:21:39.86\00:21:44.47 Watch this, the little secret ingredient is peaches, 00:21:44.50\00:21:47.60 about three to four peaches that's in there. 00:21:47.64\00:21:49.97 I already dumped that in 00:21:50.01\00:21:51.34 and then we have our pineapple juice 00:21:51.37\00:21:52.91 and our salt. 00:21:52.94\00:21:54.31 Hey, man, we're just having a good time. 00:21:54.34\00:21:55.68 This is like the easiest dressing you could make. 00:21:55.71\00:21:59.05 You could probably make it with your eyes close. 00:21:59.08\00:22:01.12 I just can't see what's going on here so don't do it. 00:22:01.15\00:22:02.82 All right, here we go. 00:22:02.85\00:22:04.19 We're gonna put the top on 00:22:04.22\00:22:05.55 and we got to get this rolling just for a couple of seconds. 00:22:05.59\00:22:07.76 All right, so it whipped a little bit. 00:22:21.10\00:22:23.04 Now I'm going to put this in it 00:22:23.07\00:22:24.41 'cause I got to mix it up a little bit more, all right. 00:22:24.44\00:22:27.51 I just want to let you all know, 00:22:27.54\00:22:28.88 so if you don't have one of these blenders, 00:22:28.91\00:22:30.25 you just have to mix it up properly, shake it up, 00:22:30.28\00:22:32.28 as you see there 00:22:32.31\00:22:33.65 and then we're gonna blend it one more time. 00:22:33.68\00:22:35.02 Voila, done. 00:22:59.04\00:23:00.38 Literally you have now your whipped cream, 00:23:00.41\00:23:02.54 this is something that you can do, 00:23:02.58\00:23:04.05 however do not use it unnecessarily 00:23:04.08\00:23:07.48 because you may turn it on 00:23:07.52\00:23:08.85 and add on some extra blessings, 00:23:08.88\00:23:10.22 literal blessings, 00:23:10.25\00:23:11.59 so this one you want to use sparingly. 00:23:11.62\00:23:13.09 You remember on your pie chart, your food pie, 00:23:13.12\00:23:15.32 your pie chart, your food pyramid. 00:23:15.36\00:23:17.09 It has what? 00:23:17.13\00:23:18.46 Oils and stuff at the top the least, 00:23:18.49\00:23:20.23 so this one here you want to use it 00:23:20.26\00:23:22.56 but once in a blue, 00:23:22.60\00:23:23.93 don't go overboard with it, all right. 00:23:23.97\00:23:25.73 So here we go. 00:23:25.77\00:23:27.10 We have that, I'm gonna push this to the side, 00:23:27.14\00:23:28.84 and I want to see if you all can see that here, 00:23:28.87\00:23:32.34 this is really simple, really easy this is your... 00:23:32.37\00:23:36.04 Look at that, look at that whipped cream, delicious, 00:23:36.08\00:23:40.12 tasty, there it is. 00:23:40.15\00:23:41.58 So what I'm going to do now, this is my topping, 00:23:41.62\00:23:43.59 you remember. 00:23:43.62\00:23:44.95 So here we go.
