Paradise. 00:00:30.86\00:00:32.83 My name is Evita Tezeno. 00:00:32.86\00:00:35.56 And don't we all love bread? 00:00:35.60\00:00:37.67 We love garlic bread, raisin bread, 00:00:37.70\00:00:42.97 pineapple bread. 00:00:43.00\00:00:44.44 I love bread 00:00:44.47\00:00:45.81 but when you change to a living food diet, 00:00:45.84\00:00:49.44 do you think that you can eat bread? 00:00:49.48\00:00:51.55 Yes, you can. 00:00:51.58\00:00:52.91 And today, I am going to show you 00:00:52.95\00:00:54.98 how to make a unbelievable raw garlic bread. 00:00:55.02\00:01:01.56 The ingredients are 1/4th cup of olive oil, 00:01:01.59\00:01:06.66 1.5 cup of almond pulp, 00:01:06.70\00:01:10.87 1 cup of brown flax seed meal, 00:01:10.90\00:01:13.97 2 cups of zucchini peeled and grated, 00:01:14.00\00:01:17.77 1.5 table spoon of lemon juice, 00:01:17.81\00:01:21.14 2 table spoons of Psyllium husk, 00:01:21.18\00:01:23.98 1 clove of garlic, 1 tea spoon of garlic powder, 00:01:24.01\00:01:28.95 1 table spoon of maple syrup, 00:01:28.98\00:01:32.25 2/3rd cup of water, 00:01:32.29\00:01:35.12 and 1 tea spoon of mineral sea salt. 00:01:35.16\00:01:39.73 Now we'll talk a little bit about our ingredients today. 00:01:39.76\00:01:43.80 The almond pulp is left over from when you make almond milk, 00:01:43.83\00:01:48.74 almond milk. 00:01:48.77\00:01:50.11 So this, you don't wanna throw that away or discard it, 00:01:50.14\00:01:53.21 you want to keep this 00:01:53.24\00:01:54.61 because I call it precious, precious cargo 00:01:54.64\00:01:58.25 because this ingredient, you can make breads, 00:01:58.28\00:02:02.12 you can make crackers, all kind of things with this. 00:02:02.15\00:02:06.55 So you want to keep this, you could keep it in a freezer, 00:02:06.59\00:02:09.32 it lasts up to 30 days. 00:02:09.36\00:02:13.50 And another one of our ingredients is Psyllium husk. 00:02:13.53\00:02:17.63 And usually people use this 00:02:17.67\00:02:19.17 when they're doing a colon cleanse, 00:02:19.20\00:02:21.67 but this adds the sponginess to the bread. 00:02:21.70\00:02:27.18 And flax seed, 00:02:27.21\00:02:29.44 always buy your flax seed whole 00:02:29.48\00:02:32.71 and then you ground it right before your recipe. 00:02:32.75\00:02:36.55 Because it is a very fatty seed 00:02:36.58\00:02:40.36 and it tends to go rancid really quick. 00:02:40.39\00:02:42.59 So you want to make sure that 00:02:42.62\00:02:44.73 in any recipes you use flax seed meal, 00:02:44.76\00:02:48.13 you want to grind it before 00:02:48.16\00:02:49.80 and you could grind it in a coffee grinder. 00:02:49.83\00:02:53.54 So let's begin the recipe. 00:02:53.57\00:02:57.71 We're using our food processor today, 00:02:57.74\00:03:01.21 and we start with the almond pulp. 00:03:01.24\00:03:03.48 Then the grated zucchini, 00:03:08.02\00:03:11.39 and you can also use grated apples 00:03:11.42\00:03:15.56 to add a sweetness to it. 00:03:15.59\00:03:19.63 We have olive oil. 00:03:19.66\00:03:22.53 And it's extra virgin olive oil. 00:03:22.56\00:03:26.87 This is garlic powder. 00:03:26.90\00:03:29.94 And we're using garlic powder and fresh garlic. 00:03:29.97\00:03:35.24 And it gives it a little depth of taste 00:03:35.28\00:03:39.21 that the garlic does. 00:03:39.25\00:03:41.08 So using two different types of garlic, 00:03:41.12\00:03:43.49 the fresh and the dry 00:03:43.52\00:03:45.49 gives it a more depth of taste. 00:03:45.52\00:03:51.46 And maple syrup. 00:03:51.49\00:03:52.96 You want to process it now. 00:03:56.16\00:03:58.53 Add some water. 00:04:05.57\00:04:06.91 Process it. 00:04:11.58\00:04:12.91 You have to scrape it along a little bit. 00:04:17.62\00:04:20.19 You want to reserve the Psyllium 00:04:20.22\00:04:22.12 in the flax till last 00:04:22.16\00:04:23.66 because they have gelatinous quality to it, 00:04:23.69\00:04:28.13 that means that it gets kind of gooey. 00:04:28.16\00:04:30.77 And you want to wait till and put those in last. 00:04:30.80\00:04:33.90 Salt and we always use mineral sea salt. 00:04:48.82\00:04:54.69 The regular white salt 00:04:54.72\00:04:57.13 has like the regular table salt you buy in the stores, 00:04:57.16\00:05:01.56 it has dextrose in it. 00:05:01.60\00:05:04.93 And it's split. 00:05:04.97\00:05:06.70 So you wanna make sure when you're getting your salt, 00:05:06.74\00:05:09.47 it has the minerals still intact. 00:05:09.50\00:05:12.54 So that's why I use the mineral salt, 00:05:12.57\00:05:15.38 and it has the slight pink color to it. 00:05:15.41\00:05:17.71 There's also Himalayan salt and Celtic Sea Salt, 00:05:17.75\00:05:21.98 Celtic Sea Salt. 00:05:22.02\00:05:23.35 You can use those as well. 00:05:23.39\00:05:24.72 That's a kind of grated salt. 00:05:24.75\00:05:26.32 And it adds a real robust flavor 00:05:26.35\00:05:29.02 to your food. 00:05:29.06\00:05:30.39 It's different, the taste is really amazing. 00:05:30.43\00:05:35.43 So we're gonna add the flax seed 00:05:35.46\00:05:41.24 and the Psyllium and process again. 00:05:41.27\00:05:46.54 Make sure you scrape the sides 00:06:12.53\00:06:14.57 'cause you want all of the different flavors 00:06:14.60\00:06:17.87 and ingredients incorporated. 00:06:17.91\00:06:20.04 It's ready. 00:06:35.19\00:06:36.73 Now we're going to place this mixture 00:06:36.76\00:06:41.56 on a dehydrated sheet. 00:06:41.60\00:06:45.03 And if you remember from previous episodes, 00:06:45.07\00:06:49.50 we used the Excalibur dehydrator. 00:06:49.54\00:06:53.71 And this is one of my favorite tools. 00:06:57.38\00:06:59.58 I really, really like this type of... 00:06:59.61\00:07:06.12 Dehydrator because it's light, it's easy to transport, 00:07:06.15\00:07:11.26 and it has different sizes. 00:07:11.29\00:07:13.86 You can get a five tray or a four tray. 00:07:13.90\00:07:17.57 But because I make a lot of goodies 00:07:17.60\00:07:19.40 all the time for my friends, I have the nine tray. 00:07:19.43\00:07:22.07 So you want to take the blade out, 00:07:25.41\00:07:27.04 make sure you don't cut yourself 00:07:27.08\00:07:28.94 'cause this blade is very sharp. 00:07:28.98\00:07:30.71 And you want to spoon out the mixture 00:07:35.18\00:07:39.29 on the dehydrated sheet, 00:07:39.32\00:07:45.43 and you want to smooth it out. 00:07:45.46\00:07:47.26 And it doesn't take a long time. 00:07:53.70\00:07:55.74 You want to make sure that it's all even 00:07:55.77\00:07:58.84 when you spread it. 00:07:58.87\00:08:00.21 And if you notice that this recipe, 00:08:07.02\00:08:12.32 it has no yeast in it. 00:08:12.35\00:08:13.76 So it's a flat bread. 00:08:13.79\00:08:15.92 And it's a little dense but it is so delicious. 00:08:15.96\00:08:22.86 And when you're eating, 00:08:22.90\00:08:24.80 when you're transitioning 00:08:24.83\00:08:26.74 to a living food diet or a raw food diet, 00:08:26.77\00:08:32.07 you want to have things that remind you of foods 00:08:32.11\00:08:36.21 that you remember 00:08:36.24\00:08:37.68 when you were eating just on a regular diet. 00:08:37.71\00:08:41.02 And this is one of the best recipes, 00:08:41.05\00:08:44.95 'cause you could have sandwiches, 00:08:44.99\00:08:47.09 you could put... 00:08:47.12\00:08:48.46 You know, if you don't want it to be savory, 00:08:48.49\00:08:52.23 you could put more sweet in it, 00:08:52.26\00:08:53.80 you could use an apple instead of a zucchini. 00:08:53.83\00:08:57.77 So there's a lot of different tricks 00:08:57.80\00:08:59.43 you could do to chase the different tastes. 00:08:59.47\00:09:03.17 So once this is all spread evenly, 00:09:03.20\00:09:06.07 you want to stick it to the dehydrator over night. 00:09:06.11\00:09:11.18 And because of the miracle of television, 00:09:19.45\00:09:23.93 this is how it looks. 00:09:23.96\00:09:25.29 I've already cut it in strips, 00:09:25.33\00:09:28.66 and this is one of the sheets. 00:09:28.70\00:09:32.27 Look at this, it is flat bread, 00:09:32.30\00:09:35.37 and it smells so good. 00:09:35.40\00:09:38.71 This is Evita Tezeno, 00:09:42.01\00:09:44.55 and remember to live life fresh. 00:09:44.58\00:09:48.68 Plenty protein, plenty protein, 00:09:55.56\00:09:58.66 everybody's trying to get some plenty protein. 00:09:58.69\00:10:01.40 The question is do you even need anymore. 00:10:01.43\00:10:04.57 We already have more than enough, 00:10:04.60\00:10:06.33 there's this big hype going on that are like, 00:10:06.37\00:10:08.74 "Man, make sure you get your protein in 00:10:08.77\00:10:10.91 and you made me the fish and you made this, 00:10:10.94\00:10:12.74 you made that." 00:10:12.77\00:10:14.11 And everybody is just looking for protein this, protein that, 00:10:14.14\00:10:17.95 well, I don't know what all the hype is about, 00:10:17.98\00:10:20.02 we have more than enough protein in our diet. 00:10:20.05\00:10:22.98 So I'm not sure. 00:10:23.02\00:10:24.72 But hey, we want more protein, 00:10:24.75\00:10:26.72 I'm gonna show us something today 00:10:26.76\00:10:28.19 that would give us some good protein. 00:10:28.22\00:10:30.13 But what is all this hysteria really about? 00:10:30.16\00:10:33.60 To be honest with you, I'm not even sure. 00:10:33.63\00:10:35.66 A lot of people they eat meat and stuff of that nature. 00:10:35.70\00:10:38.47 So is that not like enough protein already? 00:10:38.50\00:10:40.77 But they say, "Hey, may be if you're a vegetarian, 00:10:40.80\00:10:43.71 you're missing out on protein." 00:10:43.74\00:10:45.34 Well, to be honest with you, a vegetarian 00:10:45.37\00:10:46.94 who really like gets down and does their thing properly, 00:10:46.98\00:10:50.85 the only concern I have is that they may have too much protein 00:10:50.88\00:10:54.62 because protein is like 00:10:54.65\00:10:56.38 almost in a myriad of different foods that we eat. 00:10:56.42\00:11:00.19 It's in some of things that we least expect. 00:11:00.22\00:11:02.79 Okay, so we know tofu is loaded with protein, 00:11:02.82\00:11:05.83 one of the highest sources. 00:11:05.86\00:11:07.40 And then you have the mung bean 00:11:07.43\00:11:08.80 which is a part of that soy family. 00:11:08.83\00:11:10.93 And zucchi, and there's like so many other ones. 00:11:10.97\00:11:13.94 All right, so let's say, 00:11:13.97\00:11:15.30 "What else does a vegetarian probably eat?" 00:11:15.34\00:11:17.24 They may eat lentils. 00:11:17.27\00:11:18.61 Lentils is one your good, 00:11:18.64\00:11:19.97 one of your best sources of protein. 00:11:20.01\00:11:22.04 I mean, how much protein do we need? 00:11:22.08\00:11:24.35 The key is we need to stop watching and double checking 00:11:24.38\00:11:26.92 because do you know that actually too much protein 00:11:26.95\00:11:30.12 can cause another problem? 00:11:30.15\00:11:31.49 You have a lot of these guys, 00:11:31.52\00:11:32.85 you know, body building and doing all these things. 00:11:32.89\00:11:34.79 And they drink in this protein shake and protein this. 00:11:34.82\00:11:37.16 And sometimes they use 00:11:37.19\00:11:38.53 extra ingredient in their stuff, 00:11:38.56\00:11:39.89 you know what I'm talking about. 00:11:39.93\00:11:41.26 And now as result, sometimes, these people have what? 00:11:41.30\00:11:43.16 Problems of the kidney, 00:11:43.20\00:11:44.53 'cause the kidney there regulates, 00:11:44.57\00:11:45.93 it keeps thing going there with the protein. 00:11:45.97\00:11:48.24 And you know, and a lot of the other items 00:11:48.27\00:11:51.07 that are related in this. 00:11:51.11\00:11:52.44 So now people are awaiting what, 00:11:52.47\00:11:54.18 dialysis and all of these problems. 00:11:54.21\00:11:57.01 I wasn't saying only because of protein, 00:11:57.05\00:11:58.78 of course, there's other problems, 00:11:58.81\00:12:00.15 especially for those 00:12:00.18\00:12:01.52 who are using all of these additional things, 00:12:01.55\00:12:03.12 but just be careful. 00:12:03.15\00:12:05.45 Like when was the last time... 00:12:05.49\00:12:06.82 I have question. Let's call it time out. 00:12:06.86\00:12:09.32 We're all concerned about protein, right? 00:12:09.36\00:12:10.99 When was the last time you heard of somebody, 00:12:11.03\00:12:12.79 at least in the US saying, 00:12:12.83\00:12:14.16 "Hey, man, my doctor just told me 00:12:14.20\00:12:16.67 I'm protein deficient"? 00:12:16.70\00:12:18.37 Have you even heard that, "Oh, I'm in a hospital now 00:12:18.40\00:12:20.70 because I don't have enough protein." 00:12:20.74\00:12:22.40 Like it's rare, 00:12:22.44\00:12:23.84 I mean, and I could understand if they say, 00:12:23.87\00:12:25.67 "Man, your blood count is low, 00:12:25.71\00:12:27.74 or you're missing out on vitamin B-12, 00:12:27.78\00:12:29.78 or you're missing out on this and that," 00:12:29.81\00:12:31.15 but you be honest, think about this. 00:12:31.18\00:12:32.88 When was the last time somebody said, 00:12:32.91\00:12:34.55 "I'm protein deficient, pray for me"? 00:12:34.58\00:12:37.35 Never. 00:12:37.39\00:12:38.72 I mean that's rare because we have so much. 00:12:38.75\00:12:40.12 And matter of fact, 00:12:40.16\00:12:41.49 let's look at some other items to have protein. 00:12:41.52\00:12:43.09 Did you even know that brown rice 00:12:43.12\00:12:45.29 has a little bit of protein? 00:12:45.33\00:12:47.16 And today, I'm gonna share with you all, this recipe. 00:12:47.20\00:12:50.23 This recipe is like dangerously good for you. 00:12:50.27\00:12:52.27 You're gonna get plenty protein, 00:12:52.30\00:12:55.04 and it is one of my favorites, everybody loves it. 00:12:55.07\00:12:58.37 It is delicious, 00:12:58.41\00:12:59.74 and we're gonna take a quick look at it. 00:12:59.77\00:13:01.11 So get your pen, get you paper ready. 00:13:01.14\00:13:02.98 It is a Plenty Protein Quinoa Salad. 00:13:03.01\00:13:07.45 And you'll enjoy it. 00:13:07.48\00:13:08.82 All you need is 2 cups quinoa, 00:13:08.85\00:13:11.52 3 cups of water, 00:13:11.55\00:13:13.52 5 artichoke hearts, 00:13:13.56\00:13:15.76 4 radishes, diced, 00:13:15.79\00:13:18.09 3 garlic cloves, 00:13:18.13\00:13:20.13 1 small red onion, finely diced, 00:13:20.16\00:13:23.23 1 cup of shredded carrot, 00:13:23.26\00:13:26.00 1 table spoon of lemon juice, 00:13:26.03\00:13:28.80 2 green onions, chopped, 00:13:28.84\00:13:31.64 2 sprigs of cilantro, 00:13:31.67\00:13:33.68 and salt to taste. 00:13:33.71\00:13:36.11 You got it right, you got it right, 00:13:36.14\00:13:37.81 I'm talking about Quinoa, 00:13:37.85\00:13:39.71 and a lot of people say, "How do you say that, 00:13:39.75\00:13:41.38 quennova, quennu, quenna?" 00:13:41.42\00:13:43.69 You don't worry about it, you just ask where Keene is, 00:13:43.72\00:13:46.35 I went to this university far away, 00:13:46.39\00:13:48.06 and it was in this place called Keene in Texas, 00:13:48.09\00:13:49.82 I call it Quinoa salad. 00:13:49.86\00:13:51.96 And it is amazing. 00:13:51.99\00:13:53.43 This thing is so good for you, 00:13:53.46\00:13:55.93 and actually, you'll be shocked 00:13:55.96\00:13:57.77 as we'll be talking about plenty protein 00:13:57.80\00:14:00.70 because it has one of the highest sources of protein 00:14:00.74\00:14:04.54 out of all of the wholegrain family, 00:14:04.57\00:14:07.54 more than brown rice, more than whole wheat pasta. 00:14:07.58\00:14:10.28 This thing is amazing, heart healthy, 00:14:10.31\00:14:13.38 a lot of people love it, and watch this, 00:14:13.42\00:14:15.38 for those who are dealing with gluten issues, 00:14:15.42\00:14:17.42 it's actually gluten-free. 00:14:17.45\00:14:19.19 So you can enjoy this thing, it is amazing, 00:14:19.22\00:14:21.69 it's found in these nice little countries 00:14:21.72\00:14:23.22 down in South America. 00:14:23.26\00:14:24.66 I mean, it's going crazy, so you better get on it now 00:14:24.69\00:14:27.76 because the prices are only going to go up 00:14:27.80\00:14:30.17 when they start to find out the next blessing 00:14:30.20\00:14:32.53 that God has given His people. 00:14:32.57\00:14:33.90 But wait, let me call a time out, 00:14:33.94\00:14:35.40 now Quinoa is great, 00:14:35.44\00:14:37.41 but are we saying it's the only thing? 00:14:37.44\00:14:39.47 Yes, yes, that's how you spell it there. 00:14:39.51\00:14:41.21 Is it the only thing that's good for us in protein? 00:14:41.24\00:14:43.58 No, there's plenty protein all across the board. 00:14:43.61\00:14:46.82 But this is one good one that you can enjoy. 00:14:46.85\00:14:49.22 And the reason why I like it as well 00:14:49.25\00:14:51.62 is because it's so easy to cook. 00:14:51.65\00:14:53.86 I mean, this thing, watch this. 00:14:53.89\00:14:55.32 Now me and rice, we are best friends. 00:14:55.36\00:14:56.73 So don't tell rice I'm telling you about this 00:14:56.76\00:14:59.09 but, man, it's easier to cook than even rice, 00:14:59.13\00:15:02.26 and so a lot of people have been, 00:15:02.30\00:15:03.87 they're struggling with the brown rice. 00:15:03.90\00:15:05.33 Keep your eye out on our programs, 00:15:05.37\00:15:06.77 we're gonna show you how to do an easy way 00:15:06.80\00:15:08.14 to make your brown rice. 00:15:08.17\00:15:09.50 But watch this, 00:15:09.54\00:15:10.87 it's a simple thing that you can do, 00:15:10.91\00:15:12.27 it cooks within 15, 20 minutes max, 00:15:12.31\00:15:15.51 it's up to you, you decide, how long you want to take. 00:15:15.54\00:15:17.75 And today, we're gonna make a quinoa salad. 00:15:17.78\00:15:20.22 Now, of course, it's quinoa, 00:15:20.25\00:15:21.78 but you know, when you go to store 00:15:21.82\00:15:23.15 and be like, "Where's the quinoa?" 00:15:23.18\00:15:24.52 And everybody would know who you're calling for. 00:15:24.55\00:15:26.62 So enjoy, it's really easy, as you see in the recipe there. 00:15:26.65\00:15:31.46 Matter of fact, I enjoyed it so much. 00:15:31.49\00:15:33.60 I have made so much before. 00:15:33.63\00:15:35.40 I don't know if I have enough now to do the recipe, 00:15:35.43\00:15:37.20 but don't worry, I still have a little bit here, 00:15:37.23\00:15:38.63 what you're going to do, 00:15:38.67\00:15:40.00 you're going to get the pot rolling here, 00:15:40.04\00:15:41.37 you're going to turn on the fire 00:15:41.40\00:15:43.17 as you see, and you get it to high. 00:15:43.20\00:15:45.91 What you want to do is have it boiling a little bit, 00:15:45.94\00:15:48.04 this cuts down on your time real quick. 00:15:48.08\00:15:50.01 And then you'll take that, 00:15:50.05\00:15:51.38 so I'll take whatever I have left 00:15:51.41\00:15:52.75 and pour that in here nicely. 00:15:52.78\00:15:57.49 You can let it get to a boiling temperature first, 00:15:57.52\00:16:00.39 but this thing is so easy to make. 00:16:00.42\00:16:03.16 As you see here, I have a quite a bit in there, 00:16:03.19\00:16:05.79 then you add a little salt there, 00:16:05.83\00:16:07.40 get that thing rolling, as you see, cover it up. 00:16:07.43\00:16:10.70 What you're going to do, 00:16:10.73\00:16:12.07 you're going to let to get a boil, 00:16:12.10\00:16:13.44 okay, so you're gonna let it get to that boiling point, 00:16:13.47\00:16:15.67 and then you'll put it down on low heat. 00:16:15.70\00:16:18.07 Keep it covered like that 00:16:18.11\00:16:19.44 and the rest quinoa takes care of it itself. 00:16:19.47\00:16:22.34 And so while that is going there, 00:16:22.38\00:16:24.91 already like I said, I made so much 00:16:24.95\00:16:26.78 because I was trying to eat, 00:16:26.82\00:16:28.15 you know, we were trying to do this show or this program, 00:16:28.18\00:16:31.52 so I went ahead and made a little extra. 00:16:31.55\00:16:33.39 I have a finished one here for you, 00:16:33.42\00:16:36.12 and this is how it should come out, 00:16:36.16\00:16:37.79 I don't know if you all can catch it here, 00:16:37.83\00:16:39.76 nice quick look at it. 00:16:39.79\00:16:41.30 This is, look how simple this thing is amazing. 00:16:41.33\00:16:44.43 You want grainy rice, have some grainy quinoa, 00:16:44.47\00:16:47.57 and you can enjoy it nicely. 00:16:47.60\00:16:49.67 I like to prepare quite a bit of this 00:16:49.70\00:16:51.97 and store it in a nice little, 00:16:52.01\00:16:53.74 you know, storage item in a fridge. 00:16:53.78\00:16:56.01 So let's say, I come home, it's late, not late, of course, 00:16:56.04\00:16:59.18 but for my meal time, 00:16:59.21\00:17:00.55 and I have to make something quick, 00:17:00.58\00:17:02.18 I can't wait on, brown rice, which is fantastic. 00:17:02.22\00:17:04.92 I'll just go ahead and get my quinoa ready. 00:17:04.95\00:17:07.49 And so what you do with the quinoa, 00:17:07.52\00:17:09.22 we're going make a quick little salad out of it. 00:17:09.26\00:17:11.16 All I'm going to do is going to pour that, 00:17:11.19\00:17:12.89 look at that, that is amazing, how easy it comes off. 00:17:12.93\00:17:16.53 This is a fantastic grain that you can enjoy. 00:17:16.56\00:17:20.64 And, man, you make this people are going to be shocked. 00:17:20.67\00:17:23.94 They gonna say "Man, 00:17:23.97\00:17:25.31 where did you get this one from, 00:17:25.34\00:17:26.68 I didn't know you were a chef." 00:17:26.71\00:17:28.04 You can say, 00:17:28.08\00:17:29.41 "I just watched Taste Of Paradise 00:17:29.44\00:17:30.78 and learned it there." 00:17:30.81\00:17:32.15 And so go ahead and you put that out there nicely, 00:17:32.18\00:17:35.78 really simple to do this recipe. 00:17:35.82\00:17:37.59 Now we're going to take our other ingredients. 00:17:37.62\00:17:39.52 We talked about the garlic, okay, 00:17:39.55\00:17:41.12 so we're gonna get the garlic going. 00:17:41.16\00:17:44.33 We're gonna pour that now, just use that sparely there, 00:17:44.36\00:17:47.03 we have about two to three. 00:17:47.06\00:17:48.40 So dependent on your liking you can put that, 00:17:48.43\00:17:51.17 some people like the sauteed garlic, 00:17:51.20\00:17:52.93 they like the saute the onions as well. 00:17:52.97\00:17:55.97 But for me this is a salad, okay. 00:17:56.00\00:17:58.07 However, as you see we've got a couple of fresh items in here 00:17:58.11\00:18:00.81 so don't be like a talking too close to people, 00:18:00.84\00:18:05.05 after a salad, 00:18:05.08\00:18:06.41 but hey, a least when they ask you, 00:18:06.45\00:18:08.38 "What did you eat," you say, "I had some quinoa." 00:18:08.42\00:18:11.09 And a lot of people will enjoy that. 00:18:11.12\00:18:12.75 So we have that going there, what else are we gonna put, 00:18:12.79\00:18:15.19 we're going to put some... 00:18:15.22\00:18:17.26 Some green onions, this thing is very simple easy to make, 00:18:17.29\00:18:22.40 what else, we have some carrots, you all know. 00:18:22.43\00:18:25.97 So I'm just trying to get this a little close to here. 00:18:26.00\00:18:28.67 Carrots, fantastic, 00:18:28.70\00:18:30.44 it's going to add some nice color to it, 00:18:30.47\00:18:32.67 of course, but also good food. 00:18:32.71\00:18:36.81 The digestive track is working, 00:18:36.85\00:18:38.21 keep things moving along nicely. 00:18:38.25\00:18:40.15 And also we all know carrots are good for our eyes. 00:18:40.18\00:18:42.98 But however, let me call a time or some people say, 00:18:43.02\00:18:45.19 "Oh, carrots, it's good for this, good for that." 00:18:45.22\00:18:47.46 Look the healing, anytime healing takes place, 00:18:47.49\00:18:49.36 just remember, it comes from God. 00:18:49.39\00:18:50.73 You can eat all the carrots in the world 00:18:50.76\00:18:52.09 and still go blind. 00:18:52.13\00:18:53.46 You know what I mean? 00:18:53.50\00:18:54.83 But we don't want to do that, just always trust in God, 00:18:54.86\00:18:56.56 as we enjoy some quinoa salad, of course. 00:18:56.60\00:18:58.70 So I'm gonna mix that up nicely and one of the key ingredients, 00:18:58.73\00:19:01.87 you know, 'cause what we're trying to hold off 00:19:01.90\00:19:03.30 on spices and stuff of that nature. 00:19:03.34\00:19:05.27 But if you want to a little extra spice, 00:19:05.31\00:19:06.64 you have the raw garlic, 00:19:06.68\00:19:08.14 which is spicy, goes in spicy but comes out nice-y. 00:19:08.18\00:19:11.78 All right, no, it's not a joke, forgive me, I'm from New York. 00:19:11.81\00:19:14.82 We also have radishes, radishes is phenomenal, 00:19:14.85\00:19:19.95 a matter of fact, those dealing with the, 00:19:19.99\00:19:22.92 let's say allergies or something of that nature, 00:19:22.96\00:19:25.56 what they want to do is use some radishes. 00:19:25.59\00:19:29.20 As you see, my quinoa is trying to get keen, 00:19:29.23\00:19:32.43 keen out of here. 00:19:32.47\00:19:33.80 So what you want to do, after you get if for a boil, 00:19:33.84\00:19:35.50 you'll low it down nicely. 00:19:35.54\00:19:37.41 But then he is acting up over here. 00:19:37.44\00:19:39.97 But let me get back to the radishes, 00:19:40.01\00:19:41.58 radishes help people who will deal with sinusitis 00:19:41.61\00:19:44.71 or different items of that nature there. 00:19:44.75\00:19:46.88 Look at that, isn't this, oh, look at me, I'm making me mess, 00:19:46.92\00:19:49.08 I'm so excited. 00:19:49.12\00:19:51.52 Add the rest of this garlic. 00:19:51.55\00:19:53.32 Then let me talk about that radishes again. 00:19:53.36\00:19:56.76 So as I said good for people dealing with sinusitis 00:19:56.79\00:19:59.39 or different items of that nature, 00:19:59.43\00:20:01.26 you know, you have congestion, 00:20:01.30\00:20:02.90 sometimes, I get sick and I suffer, 00:20:02.93\00:20:05.73 I used to suffer with congestion 00:20:05.77\00:20:07.90 and so at the end, 00:20:07.94\00:20:09.57 like that little cold or flu, eat carrots as well, 00:20:09.60\00:20:11.97 which helps to clear this area up. 00:20:12.01\00:20:13.68 And radishes is very, you know, 00:20:13.71\00:20:15.41 spicy and it opens up everything. 00:20:15.44\00:20:17.65 A matter of fact, one time, I had to, I had to speak 00:20:17.68\00:20:20.52 and I was little congested 00:20:20.55\00:20:21.88 'cause somebody put a hidden ingredient in my food, 00:20:21.92\00:20:24.29 and my body wasn't liking it, 00:20:24.32\00:20:25.65 so it was really congestive here. 00:20:25.69\00:20:27.02 So right before the presentation, 00:20:27.06\00:20:28.39 I went ahead, and I grab a couple of radishes. 00:20:28.42\00:20:31.79 And I just ate and I was just doing all this stuff, 00:20:31.83\00:20:34.56 but then after everything was like 00:20:34.60\00:20:36.53 clear, clear, clear as day. 00:20:36.56\00:20:38.43 So you can enjoy that, as well. 00:20:38.47\00:20:41.50 Then one of my favorite, you know what I'm coming to, 00:20:41.54\00:20:44.91 one of my favorite ingredients here 00:20:44.94\00:20:47.94 after I have pour in the lemon juice, 00:20:47.98\00:20:49.98 I have another ingredient coming, don't worry, 00:20:50.01\00:20:52.41 you're going to enjoy, so I'm pouring my lemon juice, 00:20:52.45\00:20:54.32 I'm going to mix this up, 00:20:54.35\00:20:55.68 I'm going to sprinkle my salt to taste, of course, oops... 00:20:55.72\00:20:59.22 All right, let me mix that up properly there. 00:20:59.25\00:21:03.49 What I'm going to do, one of my favorite ingredients 00:21:03.53\00:21:06.26 that everybody knows, I talk about this everywhere, 00:21:06.29\00:21:09.56 I go like it's a best friend, 00:21:09.60\00:21:11.53 it's veggies hidden 00:21:11.57\00:21:15.20 or it's not veggie best kept secret, 00:21:15.24\00:21:16.81 yeah, veggies is the best kept secret you get. 00:21:16.84\00:21:18.17 I call it king of veggies. 00:21:18.21\00:21:19.54 Anybody know what I'm talking about? 00:21:19.57\00:21:21.11 One of my favorite, this is the artichoke. 00:21:21.14\00:21:24.51 You see the crown here, look at that. 00:21:24.55\00:21:26.15 He is a king and it's so good, 00:21:26.18\00:21:29.28 it's one of the best veggies around town. 00:21:29.32\00:21:33.29 A lot of people in the super market they see it 00:21:33.32\00:21:35.56 and they just keep walking by 00:21:35.59\00:21:37.19 'cause sometimes, one of the persons said, 00:21:37.23\00:21:38.59 "I went to touch it and it bit me." 00:21:38.63\00:21:40.23 Well, it does it quite bite, 00:21:40.26\00:21:41.86 but what happens is it has a little spines 00:21:41.90\00:21:43.80 at the ends of it there. 00:21:43.83\00:21:45.47 But these spines, they've, they are under control here. 00:21:45.50\00:21:47.74 But hey, sometimes in order to get to something
