This is uh...because I use some ingredients 00:05:06.03\00:05:10.91 that are not raw, this is one of the ingredients that is not 00:05:10.94\00:05:14.41 This is a smoked, red jalapeno pepper. 00:05:14.44\00:05:17.65 And it has been smoked and dried 00:05:19.11\00:05:21.78 I'm going to salivate (laughter) 00:05:21.82\00:05:24.22 We should get a tissue or something... 00:05:25.69\00:05:28.56 And we have maple syrup and this gives it a kinda sweet taste 00:05:28.59\00:05:33.93 Right. So you could do it in the 00:08:10.82\00:08:15.02 evening before you go to bed and make sure that 00:08:15.06\00:08:19.79 you put it in the refrigerator and when you wake up in the 00:08:19.83\00:08:23.30 morning, right before you go to work you can stick this 00:08:23.37\00:08:26.60 in the dehydrator. Ok. And it can dehydrate all day while 00:08:26.63\00:08:30.31 you're at work. Ok, good. If you can you do that 00:08:30.34\00:08:33.04 Because the energy with the dehydrator is very low 00:08:33.07\00:08:36.31 Very very low. The energy usage is very low. 00:08:36.34\00:08:40.12 And it doesn't pull a lot of energy. He says if you snack all day you end up 00:14:37.67\00:14:40.68 looking like a what? Did I hear somebody say cow? No I didn't 00:14:40.74\00:14:44.75 say it, you all said that. But what happens is, as a result 00:14:44.78\00:14:48.22 if you look to balance your blessings what you need to do 00:14:48.25\00:14:50.99 is have set meal times, especially breakfast 00:14:51.02\00:14:54.16 put the gas in properly, you know what I'm talkin about 00:14:54.22\00:14:56.93 the fuel for the day, and then space out your meals 00:14:56.99\00:15:00.63 5-6 hours, some say 4 but just follow the principles 00:15:00.66\00:15:03.97 there and do not eat in between the meals. Drink what? Water 00:15:04.00\00:15:08.24 But the key is breakfast again We need to do this. 00:15:08.27\00:15:11.34 So what're we gonna do? We gonna add a little extra 00:15:11.37\00:15:14.08 we're gonna add some protein to that there. We already got 00:15:14.11\00:15:17.05 the eggplant bacon and so we're gonna do a fantastic recipe 00:15:17.08\00:15:20.85 And it's called Scrambled T'eggs. 00:15:20.92\00:15:24.29 Y'all know what I'm talkin about? Scrambled T'eggs 00:15:24.32\00:15:26.29 Yes, not eggs but scrambled T'eggs. Tofu 00:15:26.32\00:15:29.09 And it's real simple. Everybody can do this. You can knock it 00:16:07.36\00:16:10.17 out in several minutes but I know some people like, what? 00:16:10.20\00:16:13.13 Tofu? I'm just tired of this Tofu stuff. As a matter of fact 00:16:13.17\00:16:17.11 I just read this thing and some body said, it's no good for you 00:16:17.14\00:16:20.38 it's causing this problem and it's causing that problem 00:16:20.41\00:16:22.71 Well I'm going to call a time out. 00:16:22.74\00:16:24.45 I'm done with this 'he said, she said' stuff 00:16:24.48\00:16:27.05 Everybody's sayin somethin these days 00:16:27.12\00:16:28.98 Why don't we start studying for ourselves because as a matter 00:16:29.02\00:16:31.35 of fact you'll find out that soy is one of the best beans 00:16:31.39\00:16:36.19 we call it a super legume. That means it is like fantastic 00:16:36.22\00:16:40.53 like nothing could mess with it. This thing is amazin 00:16:40.60\00:16:43.43 And so tofu is actually pretty good for you. But there's an old 00:16:43.47\00:16:47.90 sayin, when in doubt leave it out and I'm gonna explain 00:16:47.94\00:16:50.07 and as we start cookin here I'm gonna tell you a little 00:16:50.11\00:16:52.14 bit about tofu to get rid of these myths and different items 00:16:52.17\00:16:57.25 then don't even take my word for it go and study for yourself 00:16:57.31\00:17:00.28 But let's at least get the recipe going 00:17:00.35\00:17:02.65 I know we'll talk a little bit more. All you wanna do 00:17:02.68\00:17:04.99 is get your nice, good tofu here and you wanna kinda dry 00:17:05.02\00:17:09.79 it out a little bit and you all know how to do this. What you do is you take that and 00:17:47.66\00:17:51.80 you crumble it ok? What you want is to get the excess 00:18:35.81\00:18:40.02 moisture out. Now because I've squeezed, as you see, most of 00:18:40.05\00:18:43.49 that liquid out you don't have to worry about it, this is gonna 00:18:43.52\00:18:46.86 actually cook pretty fast. Who knows maybe even before we're 00:18:46.89\00:18:49.66 done. But I already did one in advance for you all, so you 00:18:49.69\00:18:52.66 gonna get that goin. Then a quick little tip that we can 00:18:52.69\00:18:56.23 start usin, as you know, people will say, well tofu don't have 00:18:56.26\00:19:00.17 no taste. Well obviously it's just tofu. But that's actually 00:19:00.20\00:19:04.14 a good thing. Why is that a good thing? 00:19:04.17\00:19:05.64 Because you could give it whatever flavor you want. 00:19:05.67\00:19:08.21 If you know a lot of foods that we use 00:19:08.24\00:19:10.68 they have their own flavor and now you don't have to worry 00:19:10.71\00:19:14.05 about this because if you want something sweet, if you want 00:19:14.08\00:19:16.92 something savory, if you like it this way or that way 00:19:16.95\00:19:19.39 Tofu is fantastic because it takes on whatever flavor 00:19:19.42\00:19:22.76 you give it. And so what we gonna do, because it takes 00:19:22.79\00:19:27.36 a little time to, how can I put it? Because it takes a 00:19:27.40\00:19:31.93 little time to take that flavor what you gonna do is just add 00:19:31.97\00:19:36.07 a little pinch of salt ok, so I'm gonna put a pinch of salt 00:19:36.10\00:19:38.84 just to get that going so it can soak and saturate into it. 00:19:38.87\00:19:43.45 I know I could give you, say 1 teaspoon or whatever, we already 00:19:43.48\00:19:46.35 said how much it needs but just get that going early 00:19:46.38\00:19:50.79 ok?
