Well stay tuned while Evita Tezeno 00:00:04.27\00:00:07.60 and yours truly, Nyse Collins, shows you exactly how to do it 00:00:07.64\00:00:10.67 and give you something better, A Taste of Paradise. 00:00:10.71\00:00:13.94 Welcome to A Taste of Paradise, my name in Evita Tezeno 00:00:30.09\00:00:34.56 You know, everybody loves desserts 00:00:34.60\00:00:37.80 and today's recipes are two of my favorite desserts 00:00:37.83\00:00:42.17 Raw carob mousse pudding and pineapple ice box dessert 00:00:42.20\00:00:48.54 Two of my really delicious recipes 00:00:48.58\00:00:52.78 Now the first recipe is the raw carob mousse 00:00:52.81\00:00:57.02 and everybody loves chocolate. But we're not using chocolate 00:00:57.05\00:01:01.32 today, we're using carob. And the recipe is 00:01:01.36\00:01:04.99 And here is a great source of fat 00:01:19.21\00:01:24.21 and it makes recipes creamy 00:01:24.25\00:01:27.88 my favorite fruit, Avocado. 00:01:27.92\00:01:32.42 And avocados are a great source of fat 00:01:41.96\00:01:48.10 A great source of so many different minerals, and 00:01:49.70\00:01:55.71 vitamins. And if you noticed how I took the seed out 00:01:55.74\00:02:00.82 very simple. Just turn it and the seed comes out. 00:02:00.85\00:02:04.12 And one of our main ingredients today is carob powder. 00:02:07.36\00:02:12.53 And the reason why I don't do chocolate 00:02:13.60\00:02:16.50 is because of the way chocolate is processed. 00:02:16.53\00:02:19.33 We're putting in carob powder. 00:02:19.37\00:02:22.44 Dates 00:02:24.97\00:02:28.51 Mineral sea salt 00:02:28.54\00:02:31.31 Vanilla extract 00:02:34.22\00:02:36.45 Fresh almond milk 00:02:37.35\00:02:40.22 And we process it. 00:02:43.19\00:02:45.13 Ok, we're going to check it to make sure everything is blended 00:03:00.21\00:03:05.38 I need to process this a little bit more. 00:03:12.95\00:03:15.66 Look at this creamy, beautiful pudding. 00:03:31.24\00:03:38.85 Homemade carob pudding 00:03:40.78\00:03:46.19 And yes it has avocados and that's a little strange, but 00:03:46.22\00:03:50.99 and kids love this recipe, it's easy, it's sweet 00:03:52.49\00:03:58.60 it's delicious 00:03:58.63\00:04:03.17 We're gonna top it off with a strawberry 00:04:03.20\00:04:07.71 And there you have it. 00:04:07.74\00:04:09.91 And the next recipe, the Pineapple Icebox dessert 00:04:11.75\00:04:16.18 and the ingredients are 00:04:16.22\00:04:17.92 So we're going to start with the crust. And we have cashews 00:04:48.65\00:04:55.69 that have been soaked and dehydrated 00:04:55.72\00:04:58.29 We have honey 00:05:03.67\00:05:06.27 And you could use any sweetener you want, you could use honey 00:05:09.54\00:05:13.27 you could use Agave 00:05:13.31\00:05:16.41 and I think Maple Syrup would be a bit too strong 00:05:16.44\00:05:20.42 and a pinch of salt 00:05:20.45\00:05:23.15 and then you want to process this 00:05:24.85\00:05:26.86 So this is your crust 00:05:44.74\00:05:47.28 and we have a 9 inch pan 00:05:51.15\00:05:57.05 and we put this mixture at the bottom. 00:05:57.09\00:06:01.49 Just press it in 00:06:07.13\00:06:08.60 You want to sprinkle it in, it doesn't have to be 00:06:16.17\00:06:19.41 distributed all over the bottom but you want to have some 00:06:19.44\00:06:24.31 cause you want to reserve some of the cashew 00:06:24.35\00:06:27.85 mixture for the top. 00:06:27.88\00:06:30.89 And then we'll do the filling 00:06:32.05\00:06:34.29 These are soaked cashews as well 00:06:35.69\00:06:38.33 Water 00:06:41.43\00:06:43.33 Coconut oil 00:06:44.30\00:06:47.30 it has been slightly melted 00:06:47.34\00:06:51.37 Vanilla extract 00:06:51.41\00:06:53.94 and salt. 00:06:57.88\00:06:59.65 On everything smells so good. I love coconut oil. 00:07:01.42\00:07:05.42 You want to make sure that it's really, really creamy 00:07:32.21\00:07:35.08 so you're gonna have to process it a little bit more 00:07:35.12\00:07:37.85 Take this wonderful mixture and combine it with fresh pineapple 00:07:58.41\00:08:04.95 You wanna make sure we get every little bit of it 00:08:10.52\00:08:14.29 This is so yummy and so creamy 00:08:14.32\00:08:17.73 This reminds me of a vacation because of the pineapple 00:08:23.26\00:08:29.07 It's very tropical. It has the coconut oil and the pineapple 00:08:29.10\00:08:34.28 Mix it up 00:08:37.78\00:08:41.22 Put it in your pan 00:08:51.19\00:08:52.89 and then you want to put the topping on it 00:08:59.47\00:09:02.30 Another very simple recipe 00:09:04.81\00:09:07.04 Not a whole lot of ingredients 00:09:07.11\00:09:09.74 Not a whole lot of time 00:09:11.31\00:09:13.05 And very, very simple. Simple simple, simple. 00:09:21.16\00:09:24.96 And here you have it. 00:09:33.74\00:09:36.57 Our pineapple icebox dessert 00:09:51.12\00:09:54.66 Let us always remember, Live Life Fresh 00:09:54.69\00:10:00.80 Good lookin cookin! How to make some healthy avocado oil 00:10:08.04\00:10:13.11 Who knew, who knew that you could actually make avocado oil 00:10:13.14\00:10:17.55 yourself? Oil from avocado. I know throughout the program 00:10:17.61\00:10:21.85 you've seen so much avocado. Evita, she just knocked off 00:10:21.88\00:10:24.92 a nice puddin there with some avocado in it. You're like, man 00:10:24.95\00:10:28.62 avocado this, avocado that. We've also been learning 00:10:28.66\00:10:31.69 throughout the program, does avocado have cholesterol? 00:10:31.73\00:10:34.73 And when we realized cholesterol is only manufactured in liver 00:10:34.76\00:10:37.83 we realized avocado has what? Zero cholesterol. So this thing 00:10:37.87\00:10:41.87 is amazing. One person said you can live off of avocado 00:10:41.90\00:10:45.47 bread and water. That's why it's so good. But who knew that 00:10:45.51\00:10:49.84 this avocado is not only good for healin the body but is also 00:10:49.88\00:10:54.35 internally, but it's also good outside. That's why we've 00:10:54.38\00:10:57.75 titled today's program 'Good Lookin Cookin' 00:10:57.79\00:11:00.89 And I wanna let you all know that we have a special guest 00:11:00.96\00:11:03.66 one of our guest consultants here to assist us with this 00:11:03.73\00:11:07.30 program, cause you know I don't think I'll look that great 00:11:07.30\00:11:10.27 I'm alright you know, pray for me. Pray for me but we're 00:11:10.33\00:11:12.80 all made in God's image, is that right? But we all can step it up 00:11:12.83\00:11:15.64 a little notch and get closer to that image that He has set 00:11:15.67\00:11:19.01 for us and so we have one of our special guests. Her name is 00:11:19.04\00:11:23.01 Chanelle Green. How are you today? 00:11:23.04\00:11:25.45 I'm very well thank you 00:11:25.48\00:11:27.08 Good news. Now you've come all the way to assist us. 00:11:27.12\00:11:30.05 You're a consultant and I like consultants, and you know 00:11:30.09\00:11:34.12 our goal is education or restoration through education 00:11:34.16\00:11:38.29 is that alright? And so we've been teaching people 00:11:38.33\00:11:41.30 you've come all the way to assist us from UK 00:11:41.33\00:11:44.53 from the UK, where in the UK? 00:11:44.57\00:11:46.33 I'm from Birmingham. Birmingham, UK. 00:11:46.37\00:11:48.67 You know when I think of the UK, I only think of London 00:11:48.70\00:11:50.74 I'm sorry, but now I realize there's more to the UK 00:11:50.77\00:11:54.44 United Kingdom or England than just London and so you're workin 00:11:54.48\00:11:59.71 over there, helpin the people. One of your specialties 00:11:59.75\00:12:03.92 that's what we call it is hair and skin care and stuff of 00:12:03.99\00:12:08.56 that nature. How's that thing going for you? 00:12:08.59\00:12:11.39 It's been going very well. It's a journey. Some of us call it 00:12:11.43\00:12:14.20 a hair journey or a skin journey It's been going really well. 00:12:14.30\00:12:17.33 Right. Because a lot of times people are dealing with 00:12:17.37\00:12:19.70 different situations and these situations are not easy 00:12:19.73\00:12:23.30 at all you know, with the skin, eczema. The hair is all just 00:12:23.37\00:12:27.44 messed up and we're trying to find different ways you know 00:12:27.48\00:12:31.78 especially in certain communities to use natural 00:12:31.81\00:12:34.88 items and who knew we can actually do it ourselves? So 00:12:34.92\00:12:39.22 what do we have lined up? I know how to eat avocado. 00:12:39.25\00:12:42.56 What are we gonna do today? Ok today we're going to make 00:12:42.59\00:12:45.73 our own avocado oil. That's right. We're gonna make it 00:12:45.76\00:12:49.46 straight from scratch. And what we want to let people know is 00:12:49.50\00:12:52.23 when they have old avocados at home they don't need to throw 00:12:52.27\00:12:54.97 them away. There's another use for them. 00:12:55.00\00:12:57.14 There is? Real quick. We know Avocado helps lowers cholesterol 00:12:57.17\00:13:01.81 right? And if you've all been tuning in you've learned that 00:13:01.84\00:13:05.08 It's good to lower cholesterol It's fantastic for people 00:13:05.11\00:13:08.25 dealing with anemia. What else? So we have cholesterol, anemia 00:13:08.28\00:13:13.19 circulatory problems. Is there anything else that avocado 00:13:13.22\00:13:18.29 is good for? Yes. The Avocado Oil contains a lot of Vitamin A 00:13:18.33\00:13:23.33 and also a lot of protein and that's really good for makin 00:13:23.37\00:13:26.37 the hair look moisturized and shiny and things like that 00:13:26.40\00:13:29.14 so that's why it's good for the hair. 00:13:29.17\00:13:30.97 Wow, I'm so glad it's good for the hair and what else? 00:13:31.01\00:13:33.54 It's also good for the skin because it contains Vitamin E 00:13:33.58\00:13:37.61 E is like a powerful antioxidant 00:13:37.65\00:13:39.65 It helps with cellular aging and things like that, Wow what 00:13:39.68\00:13:43.55 So that's why it's a good thing to put on our hair and skin too 00:13:43.59\00:13:46.82 Just a second y'all. We need to look at this thing closely here 00:13:46.86\00:13:50.53 We can almost stop the aging process here by usin this 00:13:50.59\00:13:54.40 Now I always tell people when we're teachin 00:13:54.46\00:13:56.70 and stuff of that nature, that avocado because of the Vitamin E 00:13:56.73\00:14:00.37 yes, it's good for the skin. But we usually do that what? 00:14:00.44\00:14:03.61 internally. We usually eat it up we're making guacamole 00:14:03.64\00:14:07.28 and we're makin the carob puddin that Evita just did 00:14:07.31\00:14:10.65 and so many other things but also we're startin to learn now 00:14:10.68\00:14:14.02 that it's good externally as well. So man, enjoy the thing 00:14:14.05\00:14:19.82 As a matter of fact I got a little note for y'all 00:14:19.85\00:14:21.79 You have the address here, Dare to Dream. If you think avocado 00:14:21.82\00:14:26.36 is no good for you, please send your avocados in. I'll gladly 00:14:26.39\00:14:31.17 take all of them so me and Chanelle can work on makin 00:14:31.20\00:14:34.50 our own oil and you know what we'll do for you all? 00:14:34.54\00:14:36.77 we'll package it nicely and we will just sell it back to you. 00:14:36.81\00:14:39.97 Or, you could just what? Do it yourself. You know what I mean? 00:14:40.04\00:14:43.21 And so that's why we're here to educate and we believe 00:14:43.24\00:14:46.92 restoration could take place that way. 00:14:46.98\00:14:49.18 Is there any other item that we need to know about this avocado 00:14:49.22\00:14:52.95 So it's good for, now what's wrong with our hair? 00:14:52.99\00:14:55.49 Like why do we need it for our hair? 00:14:55.52\00:14:57.29 It's not that anything is wrong with our hair but what it is 00:14:57.33\00:15:00.26 particularly with black hair it can be quite dry and that's 00:15:00.33\00:15:04.40 because our hair pattern tends to be quite coily or kinky 00:15:04.43\00:15:07.24 some people may want to say 00:15:07.27\00:15:08.60 and so if you have like black hair, if a white person has 00:15:08.64\00:15:11.94 black hair, it would be dry? I'm just messin with you 00:15:11.97\00:15:14.51 So you're talkin about the African American community 00:15:14.54\00:15:18.35 or people of a darker complexion their hair is usually a little 00:15:18.38\00:15:22.52 rougher, not rougher, I call that a blessing 00:15:22.55\00:15:26.49 You know what I mean, because my hair you know if you don't mind 00:15:26.52\00:15:29.09 you know my mom is from Trinidad it's a little, little messy 00:15:29.12\00:15:33.29 not messy but a little thick so when I had it really long 00:15:33.33\00:15:37.33 and stuff of that nature people said, man you'll never get 00:15:37.37\00:15:41.24 hair lice and I said why not? Cause the lice can't live 00:15:41.27\00:15:44.64 in your hair, you know it's too rough, it's like a jungle 00:15:44.67\00:15:47.14 Ouch, you know what I mean so for those who have more coarse 00:15:47.18\00:15:51.15 hair, is anything wrong or what happens in that case? 00:15:51.18\00:15:55.95 There's nothing wrong at all the sebum that the scalp 00:15:55.98\00:15:58.89 naturally produces it doesn't always make it to the end of 00:15:58.92\00:16:01.39 the hair shaft. As a result of that our hair is dryer and tends 00:16:01.42\00:16:04.69 to break a lot easier. That's why it's important to moisturize 00:16:04.73\00:16:07.66 our hair. Moisturize our hair with the best thing possible 00:16:07.66\00:16:10.60 which is always the most natural option available. 00:16:10.67\00:16:13.27 Wow, so that's what it does there. And in regards to this 00:16:13.34\00:16:16.94 skin, it's good for the hair now so we put it on the scalp 00:16:17.01\00:16:20.78 You can, you can put it on the scalp. It's good for the scalp 00:16:20.81\00:16:23.35 as well because it helps strengthen the hair root 00:16:23.38\00:16:25.91 Now what it is like, when I was younger I used to tie my 00:16:25.95\00:16:28.75 hair back into a real tight ponytail and as a result of that 00:16:28.78\00:16:31.42 the hair around here started to fall out and a lot of people 00:16:31.45\00:16:34.86 yeah, a lot of people struggle with those kinds of things 00:16:34.89\00:16:36.96 Avocado oil helps strengthen the hair root. 00:16:37.03\00:16:40.20 I know what you're talkin about because I used to remember 00:16:40.23\00:16:42.50 my sister, she used to be puttin it back I'd be like, sis 00:16:42.53\00:16:44.93 you're messin up your hair. Look it just started receding 00:16:44.97\00:16:47.77 now you're lookin like us when we went to the barber 00:16:47.80\00:16:49.60 and he made a mistake. Stop pullin it, and she used to put 00:16:49.64\00:16:52.34 it so tight you can even see the hair going crick, crick 00:16:52.37\00:16:54.91 and I'm like take it easy. So that happens in our case huh? 00:16:54.94\00:16:58.98 So this is gonna help that in the process. It will help. 00:16:59.01\00:17:01.15 So watch this now. We learn about the avocado, the Vitamin A 00:17:01.18\00:17:05.32 the antioxidants and the As and all of the good stuff 00:17:05.35\00:17:08.52 I wanna learn how to make this alright? I think you all are 00:17:08.56\00:17:12.79 interested as well. We're gonna share with you a simple, simple 00:17:12.83\00:17:15.70 recipe I guess that we can use and make for ourselves at home 00:17:15.73\00:17:21.87 And it's really simple. Here's our 00:17:21.90\00:17:23.81 Now hold on one second, one second 00:17:41.66\00:17:43.93 That's all you need? That's all you need. 00:17:43.96\00:17:46.03 I don't need no big machine, I don't need to call a company 00:17:46.06\00:17:48.60 I don't need to be doin this extracting process stuff 00:17:48.63\00:17:52.17 All I have is this here. And we're talkin about this avocado 00:17:52.20\00:17:55.57 As we can see this one is in bad shape here, and so we don't 00:17:55.60\00:18:03.01 throw it out. No we don't throw it out, that's perfect in fact 00:18:03.04\00:18:06.01 This is perfect. So what we've done already is what? We went 00:18:06.05\00:18:08.75 ahead and we cut up some of those avocados 00:18:08.78\00:18:10.62 Yes. And what did you do? You just mashed it there? 00:18:10.65\00:18:13.52 We need to mash it into a coarse paste, yes so we're going mash 00:18:13.59\00:18:18.39 these down now and it's going to make it easier to blend 00:18:18.43\00:18:21.40 when we put it in the blender so that's about ready now. 00:18:21.43\00:18:24.17 Oh so do I add some salt, onion and garlic? No 00:18:24.20\00:18:26.94 Or like maybe some tomatoes or something? 00:18:26.97\00:18:28.97 No flavoring because we're not gonna eat it but gonna put it 00:18:29.00\00:18:31.54 in our hair, so. Man, I was thinking we'll make some avocado 00:18:31.57\00:18:35.08 oil here and stuff of that nature. So we're gonna take this 00:18:35.11\00:18:37.68 and we're gonna put it in a blender you said? Yeah. 00:18:37.71\00:18:39.48 That's correct. Alright, so here's your nice little spoon 00:18:39.51\00:18:42.25 Thank you so much. You go right ahead and do that and as you 00:18:42.62\00:18:47.19 really, really simple and easy for us to make. Everybody can 00:18:47.26\00:18:50.33 do this as we see. You just have the avocado there, 00:18:50.36\00:18:56.13 then we have some coconut cream, yes we can put that in there 00:18:56.16\00:19:00.47 coconut cream, what if I don't have coconut cream? 00:19:00.50\00:19:03.20 That's ok. The coconut cream is completely optional. You don't 00:19:03.24\00:19:05.97 need to put that in there. Ok so you don't even need that 00:19:06.01\00:19:10.18 but if you do it's helpful I guess in the process 00:19:10.21\00:19:14.78 And you could even do that yourself. You just take that 00:19:14.82\00:19:18.52 coconut and you just mash it up or blend it up 00:19:18.55\00:19:21.72 the same process is where you can make coconut cream yourself 00:19:21.76\00:19:26.63 and I think most of you all know how to do it yourself 00:19:26.66\00:19:29.00 so what are we gonna do now? Ok, we're gonna blend this down 00:19:29.03\00:19:32.17 now until it becomes a smooth green paste. 00:19:32.20\00:19:36.60 OK, that's it. We're done. That's it? 00:19:43.75\00:19:46.58 That's all it takes. Can I add a little honey 00:19:46.61\00:19:49.78 or something, it looks like a nice...you could too 00:19:49.82\00:19:51.92 coconut cream avocado milkshake or somethin of that nature 00:19:51.95\00:19:57.03 Well you could but it would be a complete waste of time 00:19:57.06\00:19:58.79 I really don't want to put this in my hair though, I wanna... 00:19:58.83\00:20:01.33 OK, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm messing you up here. 00:20:01.36\00:20:04.13 Ok go ahead. What are we gonna do now? Put this in a skillet or 00:20:04.17\00:20:07.34 saucepan and turn up the heat a little bit. 00:20:07.40\00:20:10.77 What we need to do now is cook this paste on low heat 00:20:10.81\00:20:14.24 Ok so we're gonna pour this into the skillet there 00:20:14.28\00:20:17.65 I'm gonna cook it on low heat I'm not gonna lie to you guys 00:20:17.68\00:20:21.05 it's does take a little while. 00:20:21.08\00:20:22.58 And so..can I put it there? Yes, you go ahead 00:20:22.62\00:20:25.49 So what you're not gonna lie to us, well I hope not. 00:20:25.79\00:20:28.42 No I'm not gonna lie to you. It's gonna take a little while 00:20:28.46\00:20:30.39 So the paste starts off lookin like this, nice and green 00:20:30.43\00:20:35.06 and creamy. I'm gonna cook that on low heat 00:20:35.10\00:20:37.73 for about 45-60 minutes 00:20:37.77\00:20:39.73 45-60 minutes? Yes and there's a reason why we need to do that 00:20:40.94\00:20:44.24 Nice. Ok why is that? 00:20:44.27\00:20:45.61 Ok what we need to do is, at the moment there's a lot of oil 00:20:45.64\00:20:48.51 droplets in there. Really small oil droplets. What we need 00:20:48.54\00:20:52.01 to do is make those droplets come together into larger oil 00:20:52.05\00:20:55.65 droplets so that we are able to extract the oil easier 00:20:55.68\00:20:59.12 Now there's a weird name for that. What's that process called 00:20:59.15\00:21:02.59 Called Malaxation. So Relaxation. You just relax 00:21:02.62\00:21:06.36 a little bit there, relaxation? Malaxation. Malax 00:21:06.39\00:21:10.97 So mastication, so you have to chew it and spit it back out 00:21:11.00\00:21:14.00 Malaxation. Malaxation. So I just let this go ahead and 00:21:14.04\00:21:18.44 relax a little bit. That's right So in about 45-60 minutes 00:21:18.47\00:21:22.38 on a low heat. What do I do after? On a low heat you keep 00:21:22.41\00:21:24.91 stirring now, every 5 minutes you keep stirring it 00:21:24.95\00:21:27.58 and eventually that there should end up looking like the 00:21:27.62\00:21:30.65 finished product that we have. 00:21:30.69\00:21:32.12 So we have the finished product. Let me go ahead and get another 00:21:32.15\00:21:35.72 one of the finished product that you've been workin on 00:21:35.76\00:21:38.69 you could put that on the side there. Ok. 00:21:38.73\00:21:40.30 OK, alright and this is the finished product, wow! 00:21:40.36\00:21:43.73 It went from coconut cream to coconut avocado 00:21:43.80\00:21:50.24 I don't know what this thing is but it looks burnt or something 00:21:51.11\00:21:54.11 That's how it's meant to look it's meant to look a dark brown 00:21:54.14\00:21:56.71 or a dark green and that's an indication that it's ready 00:21:56.78\00:22:00.15 for pressing so we're gonna get the oil out now. 00:22:00.22\00:22:02.45 So that's perfect. So I stop right here? Yeah 00:22:02.48\00:22:04.69 you can stop right there. So what we gonna do now 00:22:04.72\00:22:08.62 is we're gonna take some of that paste and we're gonna 00:22:08.66\00:22:11.63 put it into the cloth we have right here and we're gonna 00:22:11.66\00:22:14.76 extract the oil. So we're gonna extract the oil, okay? 00:22:14.83\00:22:18.13 Indeed. Let's do that then. OK 00:22:18.17\00:22:20.60 Ok, so you wanna use this spoon here? 00:22:20.64\00:22:22.74 Let me do that. Now if you don't mind let me, why don't 00:22:22.77\00:22:27.61 you pour this in for me cause I have to learn. So we're gonna 00:22:27.64\00:22:30.25 switch spots here, actually ok that's good, that's good 00:22:30.31\00:22:33.78 scoot over a little bit, yeah 00:22:33.82\00:22:35.35 Now be careful cause it's still a little bit hot 00:22:35.38\00:22:37.39 Yeah, so usually you let it cool down 00:22:37.45\00:22:40.16 just a little bit and stuff of that nature 00:22:40.22\00:22:41.76 Correct. And then you put that there 00:22:41.79\00:22:43.89 I'm gonna put all this mixture right in there. 00:22:43.93\00:22:46.76 I'm gonna put some more in there for ya 00:22:46.80\00:22:48.46 There you go. Oh, this looks like. I could probably throw 00:22:49.16\00:22:53.30 some oats with this and make an avocado coconut burger 00:22:53.37\00:22:58.77 or something of that nature 00:22:58.81\00:23:00.81 Ok so what you need to do now Wow look at that oil 00:23:00.88\00:23:03.85 You can see it already, can't you? 00:23:03.88\00:23:05.65 Start to twist that cloth there 00:23:05.68\00:23:07.98 Twist it all the way down to put the paste under pressure 00:23:08.02\00:23:12.79 You can see it's all... WOW it's trying to come out there 00:23:12.82\00:23:15.76 Avocado oil, I'm making a mess look at me, don't get too, oh my 00:23:15.79\00:23:20.60 Glory, this is amazing! Wonderful! 00:23:20.63\00:23:23.06 What? This is avocado oil? It sure is. 00:23:23.10\00:23:27.54 And what you can do with that you can mix it with some natural 00:23:27.60\00:23:30.51 coconut oil, some olive oil or something like that 00:23:30.57\00:23:33.17 to make it stretch. That is amazing. Yeah 00:23:33.21\00:23:36.01 I made oil, watch it now. What I would like to do personally 00:23:37.41\00:23:40.38 is put it in some sort of container so I can easily 00:23:40.42\00:23:42.82 apply it to my scalp and put it through my hair 00:23:42.85\00:23:45.12 so that's wonderful. 00:23:45.15\00:23:47.42 That is pretty neat. Good job, good job. 00:23:47.46\00:23:49.82 You're teachin me, you're teachin me. There's probably 00:23:49.86\00:23:52.99 more oil in there. There is a lot more oil in there. 00:23:53.03\00:23:55.26 I've squeezed it enough so what do you do you pour that in there 00:23:55.30\00:23:57.70 Yes. I'm gonna put this over here. Do you want to tip that 00:23:57.73\00:23:59.63 in there? Yeah sure. So we have avocado oil. Look at that 00:23:59.67\00:24:05.34 No way, I can't believe it right now. It's wonderful. 00:24:05.37\00:24:08.28 I know you think I'm just hypin up a bit. No, no, no 00:24:08.31\00:24:10.38 This is awesome. Let me grab something. Ok 00:24:10.45\00:24:14.25 Oil, look at that. Let me wipe it in my hair. 00:24:14.32\00:24:17.19 You could do that. But while you're doing that you did 00:24:17.22\00:24:19.49 something there. You see the pulp that we're left with 00:24:19.52\00:24:21.79 Yeah, ok. This stuff here. 00:24:21.82\00:24:23.53 That's right. If I could get this from over here 00:24:23.56\00:24:26.03 You don't need to throw the pulp away. 00:24:26.06\00:24:28.53 There are things you can do with that. 00:24:28.56\00:24:30.33 Like I said, Avocado is also very good for the skin 00:24:30.37\00:24:33.30 So what you can do is make a facial mask out of that 00:24:33.34\00:24:36.34 blend some cucumber in with that. 00:24:36.37\00:24:37.94 So you mean I still can't throw this away? 00:24:37.97\00:24:39.74 Don't throw it away. Don't throw anything away. 00:24:39.77\00:24:41.74 We can still use this. So we're gonna mix that in with some 00:24:41.78\00:24:44.28 with some cucumber over there. So we've done that one already 00:24:44.31\00:24:48.05 So you take the cucumber. I know cucumber is very good 00:24:48.08\00:24:50.85 And y'all need to check this out real quick. 00:24:50.89\00:24:53.36 I remember one time I was on the beach, alright. 00:24:53.42\00:24:56.83 I was on the beach, I was hangin out thinking I'm gonna 00:24:56.89\00:25:00.43 gonna have a good time and the sun got a little hot. I'm like 00:25:00.46\00:25:04.07 My mother is from Trinidad she's Black but I totally 00:25:04.10\00:25:07.04 forgot that my father is White he's Italian. And so I'm just 00:25:07.07\00:25:10.04 like havin a good time. I was like, you know people of a 00:25:10.11\00:25:13.01 darker complexion need seven times more sunlight than those 00:25:13.04\00:25:15.68 of a lighter complexion. I'm like, I'm Black 00:25:15.71\00:25:17.55 and then the sun burned me and I ended up looking like a 00:25:17.58\00:25:20.02 a cherry tomato and my friends were laughin at me 00:25:20.05\00:25:23.15 and they were like, you gotta stick to your roots 00:25:23.18\00:25:24.99 I said well my roots is all split up. And they were just 00:25:25.02\00:25:27.79 makin fun and I was like what am I gonna do? They were like 00:25:27.82\00:25:29.59 put cream and stuff. I ran to the restaurant and asked them 00:25:29.62\00:25:32.33 for what? Cucumber. I took the cucumber and wiped it all over 00:25:32.36\00:25:35.60 my face, all over my body and the next morning 00:25:35.63\00:25:38.27 sunburn was gone. So that's pretty good. So cucumber 00:25:38.30\00:25:41.40 is good for the skin as well. It sure is, so you mix that in 00:25:41.44\00:25:43.87 in the blender the same way we mix the avocado 00:25:43.91\00:25:45.91 mix it altogether and there's a face mask right there. 00:25:45.94\00:25:48.04 Ok, so you take this now with cut up cucumbers 00:25:48.08\00:25:51.91 put it back in the blender, blend it again 00:25:51.95\00:25:54.28 Poor avocados are like, leave me alone you know. 00:25:54.32\00:25:56.69 You know what I mean? I'm done 00:25:56.75\00:25:58.62 Um and then what? And then you have this right here. 00:25:58.65\00:26:01.69 You do indeed. So what to do with this now? 00:26:01.72\00:26:03.69 You just put it on your face. Just as simple as that 00:26:03.76\00:26:05.66 Put it on your face, leave it on for a little bit, wash it off 00:26:05.69\00:26:08.16 and then you're good to go. 00:26:08.20\00:26:09.53 No way. It's that simple 00:26:09.56\00:26:12.33 When I see this I only think about eating it, you know 00:26:12.37\00:26:14.87 what I mean? And so this is pretty good. Alright, alright 00:26:14.90\00:26:17.94 but isn't this kinda little expensive to do, because 00:26:17.97\00:26:21.11 these are Hmm avocados. I call them Hmm avocados because they 00:26:21.14\00:26:24.31 are like so small, like Hmm and it's already done, you're 00:26:24.35\00:26:30.69 already ate it. So it's quite expensive no to make this. 00:26:30.72\00:26:33.99 Well the things is, the amount of money we tend to spend 00:26:34.06\00:26:37.33 on our hair anyway in comparison it's really not that expensive 00:26:37.36\00:26:40.63 The biggest investment you're going to make doing this 00:26:40.70\00:26:43.63 all the time as opposed to the money, so if you think about 00:26:43.67\00:26:46.57 the amount that you can spend on hair oil, your hair moisturizer 00:26:46.60\00:26:49.70 or hair shampoo and things of that nature, it's a lot more 00:26:49.74\00:26:52.61 expensive than making some simple avocado oil 00:26:52.64\00:26:55.14 Ok, ok. Well let me get back over here if you don't mind 00:26:55.18\00:26:58.11 we'll switch up a little bit so this one's still cooking 00:26:58.15\00:27:00.58 so I'll just keep an eye on that and keep mixin every 5 minutes 00:27:00.65\00:27:03.72 and then we should be good. So it's actually, actually 00:27:04.02\00:27:07.72 it's actually worth it to be honest with you all 00:27:07.76\00:27:11.09 I think we should all give it a try you know. It may cost 00:27:11.13\00:27:14.36 you a little extra but it's actually not costing you anythin 00:27:14.40\00:27:16.67 you ever notice when you go to the store and buy these avocados 00:27:16.70\00:27:19.77 and you get some, you ate some and the rest you have all these 00:27:19.80\00:27:22.80 black lines and they start goin bad on you? 00:27:22.84\00:27:24.67 We don't have to throw that away no more. 00:27:24.71\00:27:27.11 That's actually the best time to use it, to make this. So 00:27:27.18\00:27:31.48 if you don't have all of the 4 avocados that are spoiled 00:27:31.51\00:27:34.45 or bad at the same time, no problem. Take that, put that 00:27:34.48\00:27:37.09 in the freezer in a ziplock bag save it until you have enough 00:27:37.12\00:27:41.12 and then you make this same recipe so you can be good lookin 00:27:41.16\00:27:45.39 You could be cookin and makin some avocado oil the same time 00:27:45.43\00:27:49.53 and actually you save even more So not only are you savin 00:27:49.56\00:27:53.84 but you're lookin good and you are cookin with some nice 00:27:53.90\00:27:57.01 avocado oil. So enjoy and give it a try. 00:27:57.07\00:27:59.94
