Well stay tuned while Evita Tezeno 00:00:04.30\00:00:07.67 and yours truly, Nyse Collins, shows you exactly how to do it 00:00:07.70\00:00:10.74 and give you something better, A Taste of Paradise. 00:00:10.77\00:00:13.98 Welcome to A Taste of Paradise, my name in Evita Tezeno 00:00:30.13\00:00:34.66 You know, everybody loves desserts 00:00:34.70\00:00:37.90 and today's recipes are two of my favorite desserts 00:00:37.93\00:00:42.27 Raw carob mousse pudding and pineapple ice box dessert 00:00:42.30\00:00:48.64 Two of my really delicious recipes 00:00:48.68\00:00:52.88 Now the first recipe is the raw carob mousse 00:00:52.91\00:00:57.09 and everybody loves chocolate. But we're not using chocolate 00:00:57.12\00:01:01.36 today, we're using carob. And the recipe is 00:01:01.39\00:01:05.03 And here is a great source of fat 00:01:19.27\00:01:24.28 and it makes recipes creamy 00:01:24.31\00:01:27.95 my favorite fruit, Avocado. 00:01:27.98\00:01:32.49 And avocados are a great source of fat 00:01:42.06\00:01:48.20 A great source of so many different minerals, and 00:01:49.80\00:01:55.81 vitamins. And if you noticed how I took the seed out 00:01:55.84\00:02:00.82 very simple. Just turn it and the seed comes out. 00:02:00.85\00:02:04.15 And one of our main ingredients today is carob powder. 00:02:07.39\00:02:12.56 And the reason why I don't do chocolate 00:02:13.60\00:02:16.56 is because of the way chocolate is processed. 00:02:16.60\00:02:19.40 We're putting in carob powder. 00:02:19.43\00:02:22.50 Dates 00:02:25.04\00:02:28.58 Mineral sea salt 00:02:28.61\00:02:31.38 Vanilla extract 00:02:34.28\00:02:36.52 Fresh almond milk 00:02:37.42\00:02:40.29 And we process it. 00:02:43.26\00:02:45.19 Ok, we're going to check it to make sure everything is blended 00:03:00.24\00:03:05.41 I need to process this a little bit more. 00:03:12.99\00:03:15.69 Look at this creamy, beautiful pudding. 00:03:31.31\00:03:38.91 Homemade carob pudding 00:03:40.82\00:03:46.25 And yes it has avocados and that's a little strange, but 00:03:46.29\00:03:51.06 and kids love this recipe, it's easy, it's sweet 00:03:52.56\00:03:58.70 it's delicious 00:03:58.73\00:04:03.20 We're gonna top it off with a strawberry 00:04:03.24\00:04:07.74 And there you have it. 00:04:07.78\00:04:09.94 And the next recipe, the Pineapple Icebox dessert 00:04:11.78\00:04:16.22 and the ingredients are 00:04:16.25\00:04:17.95 So we're going to start with the crust. And we have cashews 00:04:48.72\00:04:55.76 that have been soaked and dehydrated 00:04:55.79\00:04:58.36 We have honey 00:05:03.67\00:05:06.30 And you could use any sweetener you want, you could use honey 00:05:09.57\00:05:13.31 you could use Agave 00:05:13.34\00:05:16.44 and I think Maple Syrup would be a bit too strong 00:05:16.48\00:05:20.42 and a pinch of salt 00:05:20.45\00:05:23.18 and then you want to process this 00:05:24.89\00:05:26.89 So this is your crust 00:05:44.81\00:05:47.34 and we have a 9 inch pan 00:05:51.21\00:05:57.09 and we put this mixture at the bottom. 00:05:57.12\00:06:01.49 Just press it in 00:06:07.13\00:06:08.63 You want to sprinkle it in, it doesn't have to be 00:06:16.20\00:06:19.44 distributed all over the bottom but you want to have some 00:06:19.47\00:06:24.35 cause you want to reserve some of the cashew 00:06:24.38\00:06:27.88 mixture for the top. 00:06:27.92\00:06:30.92 And then we'll do the filling 00:06:32.09\00:06:34.32 These are soaked cashews as well 00:06:35.72\00:06:38.36 Water 00:06:41.50\00:06:43.37 Coconut oil 00:06:44.37\00:06:47.34 it has been slightly melted 00:06:47.37\00:06:51.44 Vanilla extract 00:06:51.47\00:06:54.01 and salt. 00:06:57.95\00:06:59.71 On everything smells so good. I love coconut oil. 00:07:01.42\00:07:05.42 You want to make sure that it's really, really creamy 00:07:32.25\00:07:35.12 so you're gonna have to process it a little bit more 00:07:35.15\00:07:37.89 Take this wonderful mixture and combine it with fresh pineapple 00:07:58.47\00:08:04.95 You wanna make sure we get every little bit of it 00:08:10.52\00:08:14.26 This is so yummy and so creamy 00:08:14.29\00:08:17.73 This reminds me of a vacation because of the pineapple 00:08:23.30\00:08:29.10 It's very tropical. It has the coconut oil and the pineapple 00:08:29.14\00:08:34.28 Mix it up 00:08:37.81\00:08:41.25 Put it in your pan 00:08:51.23\00:08:52.93 and then you want to put the topping on it 00:08:59.53\00:09:02.30 Another very simple recipe 00:09:04.81\00:09:07.04 Not a whole lot of ingredients 00:09:07.08\00:09:09.74 Not a whole lot of time 00:09:11.31\00:09:13.05 And very, very simple. Simple simple, simple. 00:09:21.16\00:09:24.96 And here you have it. 00:09:33.77\00:09:36.60 Our pineapple icebox dessert 00:09:51.15\00:09:54.69 Let us always remember, Live Life Fresh 00:09:54.72\00:10:00.83 Good lookin cookin! How to make some healthy avocado oil 00:10:08.10\00:10:13.17 Who knew, who knew that you could actually make avocado oil 00:10:13.21\00:10:17.61 yourself? Oil from avocado. I know throughout the program 00:10:17.65\00:10:21.92 you've seen so much avocado. Evita, she just knocked off 00:10:21.95\00:10:24.99 a nice puddin there with some avocado in it. You're like, man 00:10:25.02\00:10:28.69 avocado this, avocado that. We've also been learning 00:10:28.72\00:10:31.76 throughout the program, does avocado have cholesterol? 00:10:31.79\00:10:34.83 And when we realized cholesterol is only manufactured in liver 00:10:34.86\00:10:37.93 we realized avocado has what? Zero cholesterol. So this thing 00:10:37.97\00:10:41.97 is amazing. One person said you can live off of avocado 00:10:42.00\00:10:45.57 bread and water. That's why it's so good. But who knew that 00:10:45.61\00:10:49.94 this avocado is not only good for healin the body but is also 00:10:49.98\00:10:54.45 internally, but it's also good outside. That's why we've 00:10:54.48\00:10:57.85 titled today's program 'Good Lookin Cookin' 00:10:57.89\00:11:00.92 And I wanna let you all know that we have a special guest 00:11:00.96\00:11:03.69 one of our guest consultants here to assist us with this 00:11:03.73\00:11:07.33 program, cause you know I don't think I'll look that great 00:11:07.36\00:11:10.33 I'm alright you know, pray for me. Pray for me but we're 00:11:10.37\00:11:12.87 all made in God's image, is that right? But we all can step it up 00:11:12.90\00:11:15.70 a little notch and get closer to that image that He has set 00:11:15.74\00:11:19.07 for us and so we have one of our special guests. Her name is 00:11:19.11\00:11:23.08 Chanelle Green. How are you today? 00:11:23.11\00:11:25.51 I'm very well thank you 00:11:25.55\00:11:27.15 Good news. Now you've come all the way to assist us. 00:11:27.18\00:11:30.09 You're a consultant and I like consultants, and you know 00:11:30.12\00:11:34.19 our goal is education or restoration through education 00:11:34.22\00:11:38.36 is that alright? And so we've been teaching people 00:11:38.39\00:11:41.40 you've come all the way to assist us from UK 00:11:41.43\00:11:44.63 from the UK, where in the UK? 00:11:44.67\00:11:46.43 I'm from Birmingham. Birmingham, UK. 00:11:46.47\00:11:48.77 You know when I think of the UK, I only think of London 00:11:48.80\00:11:50.81 I'm sorry, but now I realize there's more to the UK 00:11:50.84\00:11:54.54 United Kingdom or England than just London and so you're workin 00:11:54.58\00:11:59.81 over there, helpin the people. One of your specialties 00:11:59.85\00:12:03.95 that's what we call it is hair and skin care and stuff of 00:12:03.99\00:12:08.59 that nature. How's that thing going for you? 00:12:08.62\00:12:11.43 It's been going very well. It's a journey. Some of us call it 00:12:11.46\00:12:14.26 a hair journey or a skin journey It's been going really well. 00:12:14.30\00:12:17.37 Right. Because a lot of times people are dealing with 00:12:17.40\00:12:19.77 different situations and these situations are not easy 00:12:19.80\00:12:23.37 at all you know, with the skin, eczema. The hair is all just 00:12:23.41\00:12:27.51 messed up and we're trying to find different ways you know 00:12:27.54\00:12:31.85 especially in certain communities to use natural 00:12:31.88\00:12:34.95 items and who knew we can actually do it ourselves? So 00:12:34.98\00:12:39.29 what do we have lined up? I know how to eat avocado. 00:12:39.32\00:12:42.62 What are we gonna do today? Ok today we're going to make 00:12:42.66\00:12:45.79 our own avocado oil. That's right. We're gonna make it 00:12:45.83\00:12:49.56 straight from scratch. And what we want to let people know is 00:12:49.60\00:12:52.33 when they have old avocados at home they don't need to throw 00:12:52.37\00:12:55.07 them away. There's another use for them. 00:12:55.10\00:12:57.21 There is? Real quick. We know Avocado helps lowers cholesterol 00:12:57.24\00:13:01.84 right? And if you've all been tuning in you've learned that 00:13:01.88\00:13:05.11 It's good to lower cholesterol It's fantastic for people 00:13:05.15\00:13:08.28 dealing with anemia. What else? So we have cholesterol, anemia 00:13:08.32\00:13:13.22 circulatory problems. Is there anything else that avocado 00:13:13.25\00:13:18.33 is good for? Yes. The Avocado Oil contains a lot of Vitamin A 00:13:18.36\00:13:23.37 and also a lot of protein and that's really good for makin 00:13:23.40\00:13:26.43 the hair look moisturized and shiny and things like that 00:13:26.47\00:13:29.20 so that's why it's good for the hair. 00:13:29.24\00:13:31.04 Wow, I'm so glad it's good for the hair and what else? 00:13:31.07\00:13:33.61 It's also good for the skin because it contains Vitamin E 00:13:33.64\00:13:37.68 E is like a powerful antioxidant 00:13:37.71\00:13:39.71 It helps with cellular aging and things like that, Wow what 00:13:39.75\00:13:43.62 So that's why it's a good thing to put on our hair and skin too 00:13:43.65\00:13:46.86 Just a second y'all. We need to look at this thing closely here 00:13:46.89\00:13:50.59 We can almost stop the aging process here by usin this 00:13:50.63\00:13:54.50 Now I always tell people when we're teachin 00:13:54.53\00:13:56.80 and stuff of that nature, that avocado because of the Vitamin E 00:13:56.83\00:14:00.40 yes, it's good for the skin. But we usually do that what? 00:14:00.44\00:14:03.61 internally. We usually eat it up we're making guacamole 00:14:03.64\00:14:07.31 and we're makin the carob puddin that Evita just did 00:14:07.34\00:14:10.65 and so many other things but also we're startin to learn now 00:14:10.68\00:14:14.05 that it's good externally as well. So man, enjoy the thing 00:14:14.08\00:14:19.85 As a matter of fact I got a little note for y'all 00:14:19.89\00:14:21.82 You have the address here, Dare to Dream. If you think avocado 00:14:21.86\00:14:26.39 is no good for you, please send your avocados in. I'll gladly 00:14:26.43\00:14:31.23 take all of them so me and Chanelle can work on makin 00:14:31.27\00:14:34.57 our own oil and you know what we'll do for you all? 00:14:34.60\00:14:36.84 we'll package it nicely and we will just sell it back to you. 00:14:36.87\00:14:40.04 Or, you could just what? Do it yourself. You know what I mean? 00:14:40.08\00:14:43.28 And so that's why we're here to educate and we believe 00:14:43.31\00:14:46.98 restoration could take place that way. 00:14:47.02\00:14:49.25 Is there any other item that we need to know about this avocado 00:14:49.28\00:14:53.02 So it's good for, now what's wrong with our hair? 00:14:53.05\00:14:55.56 Like why do we need it for our hair? 00:14:55.59\00:14:57.33 It's not that anything is wrong with our hair but what it is 00:14:57.36\00:15:00.26 particularly with black hair it can be quite dry and that's 00:15:00.30\00:15:04.43 because our hair pattern tends to be quite coily or kinky 00:15:04.47\00:15:07.27 some people may want to say 00:15:07.30\00:15:08.64 and so if you have like black hair, if a white person has 00:15:08.67\00:15:11.97 black hair, it would be dry? I'm just messin with you 00:15:12.01\00:15:14.54 So you're talkin about the African American community 00:15:14.58\00:15:18.38 or people of a darker complexion their hair is usually a little 00:15:18.41\00:15:22.55 rougher, not rougher, I call that a blessing 00:15:22.58\00:15:26.52 You know what I mean, because my hair you know if you don't mind 00:15:26.55\00:15:29.12 you know my mom is from Trinidad it's a little, little messy 00:15:29.16\00:15:33.33 not messy but a little thick so when I had it really long 00:15:33.36\00:15:37.40 and stuff of that nature people said, man you'll never get 00:15:37.43\00:15:41.30 hair lice and I said why not? Cause the lice can't live 00:15:41.34\00:15:44.71 in your hair, you know it's too rough, it's like a jungle 00:15:44.74\00:15:47.18 Ouch, you know what I mean so for those who have more coarse 00:15:47.21\00:15:51.21 hair, is anything wrong or what happens in that case? 00:15:51.25\00:15:56.02 There's nothing wrong at all the sebum that the scalp 00:15:56.05\00:15:58.95 naturally produces it doesn't always make it to the end of 00:15:58.99\00:16:01.39 the hair shaft. As a result of that our hair is dryer and tends 00:16:01.42\00:16:04.69 to break a lot easier. That's why it's important to moisturize 00:16:04.73\00:16:07.66 our hair. Moisturize our hair with the best thing possible 00:16:07.70\00:16:10.63 which is always the most natural option available. 00:16:10.67\00:16:13.30 Wow, so that's what it does there. And in regards to this 00:16:13.34\00:16:16.97 skin, it's good for the hair now so we put it on the scalp 00:16:17.01\00:16:20.78 You can, you can put it on the scalp. It's good for the scalp 00:16:20.81\00:16:23.35 as well because it helps strengthen the hair root 00:16:23.38\00:16:25.95 Now what it is like, when I was younger I used to tie my 00:16:25.98\00:16:28.78 hair back into a real tight ponytail and as a result of that 00:16:28.82\00:16:31.45 the hair around here started to fall out and a lot of people 00:16:31.49\00:16:34.89 yeah, a lot of people struggle with those kinds of things 00:16:34.92\00:16:36.99 Avocado oil helps strengthen the hair root. 00:16:37.03\00:16:40.20 I know what you're talkin about because I used to remember 00:16:40.23\00:16:42.56 my sister, she used to be puttin it back I'd be like, sis 00:16:42.60\00:16:45.00 you're messin up your hair. Look it just started receding 00:16:45.03\00:16:47.84 now you're lookin like us when we went to the barber 00:16:47.87\00:16:49.67 and he made a mistake. Stop pullin it, and she used to put 00:16:49.70\00:16:52.41 it so tight you can even see the hair going crick, crick 00:16:52.44\00:16:54.98 and I'm like take it easy. So that happens in our case huh? 00:16:55.01\00:16:59.05 So this is gonna help that in the process. It will help. 00:16:59.08\00:17:01.15 So watch this now. We learn about the avocado, the Vitamin A 00:17:01.18\00:17:05.32 the antioxidants and the As and all of the good stuff 00:17:05.35\00:17:08.52 I wanna learn how to make this alright? I think you all are 00:17:08.56\00:17:12.79 interested as well. We're gonna share with you a simple, simple 00:17:12.83\00:17:15.73 recipe I guess that we can use and make for ourselves at home 00:17:15.76\00:17:21.90 And it's really simple. Here's our 00:17:21.94\00:17:23.81 Now hold on one second, one second 00:17:41.69\00:17:43.93 That's all you need? That's all you need. 00:17:43.96\00:17:46.06 I don't need no big machine, I don't need to call a company 00:17:46.09\00:17:48.66 I don't need to be doin this extracting process stuff 00:17:48.70\00:17:52.23 All I have is this here. And we're talkin about this avocado 00:17:52.27\00:17:55.64 As we can see this one is in bad shape here, and so we don't 00:17:55.67\00:18:03.01 throw it out. No we don't throw it out, that's perfect in fact 00:18:03.04\00:18:06.01 This is perfect. So what we've done already is what? We went 00:18:06.05\00:18:08.75 ahead and we cut up some of those avocados 00:18:08.78\00:18:10.62 Yes. And what did you do? You just mashed it there? 00:18:10.65\00:18:13.52 We need to mash it into a coarse paste, yes so we're going mash 00:18:13.56\00:18:18.39 these down now and it's going to make it easier to blend 00:18:18.43\00:18:21.43 when we put it in the blender so that's about ready now. 00:18:21.46\00:18:24.20 Oh so do I add some salt, onion and garlic? No 00:18:24.23\00:18:26.97 Or like maybe some tomatoes or something? 00:18:27.00\00:18:29.00 No flavoring because we're not gonna eat it but gonna put it 00:18:29.04\00:18:31.57 in our hair, so. Man, I was thinking we'll make some avocado 00:18:31.61\00:18:35.11 oil here and stuff of that nature. So we're gonna take this 00:18:35.14\00:18:37.71 and we're gonna put it in a blender you said? Yeah. 00:18:37.75\00:18:39.51 That's correct. Alright, so here's your nice little spoon 00:18:39.55\00:18:42.28 Thank you so much. You go right ahead and do that and as you 00:18:42.65\00:18:47.22 really, really simple and easy for us to make. Everybody can 00:18:47.26\00:18:50.33 do this as we see. You just have the avocado there, 00:18:50.36\00:18:56.20 then we have some coconut cream, yes we can put that in there 00:18:56.23\00:19:00.44 coconut cream, what if I don't have coconut cream? 00:19:00.47\00:19:03.20 That's ok. The coconut cream is completely optional. You don't 00:19:03.24\00:19:05.97 need to put that in there. Ok so you don't even need that 00:19:06.01\00:19:10.15 but if you do it's helpful I guess in the process 00:19:10.18\00:19:14.78 And you could even do that yourself. You just take that 00:19:14.82\00:19:18.52 coconut and you just mash it up or blend it up 00:19:18.55\00:19:21.72 the same process is where you can make coconut cream yourself 00:19:21.76\00:19:26.63 and I think most of you all know how to do it yourself 00:19:26.66\00:19:29.03 so what are we gonna do now? Ok, we're gonna blend this down 00:19:29.06\00:19:32.20 now until it becomes a smooth green paste. 00:19:32.23\00:19:36.64 OK, that's it. We're done. That's it? 00:19:43.78\00:19:46.61 That's all it takes. Can I add a little honey 00:19:46.65\00:19:49.82 or something, it looks like a nice...you could too 00:19:49.85\00:19:51.95 coconut cream avocado milkshake or somethin of that nature 00:19:51.99\00:19:57.06 Well you could but it would be a complete waste of time 00:19:57.09\00:19:58.83 I really don't want to put this in my hair though, I wanna... 00:19:58.86\00:20:01.40 OK, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm messing you up here. 00:20:01.43\00:20:04.20 Ok go ahead. What are we gonna do now? Put this in a skillet or 00:20:04.23\00:20:07.40 saucepan and turn up the heat a little bit. 00:20:07.44\00:20:10.84 What we need to do now is cook this paste on low heat 00:20:10.87\00:20:14.28 Ok so we're gonna pour this into the skillet there 00:20:14.31\00:20:17.71 I'm gonna cook it on low heat I'm not gonna lie to you guys 00:20:17.75\00:20:21.12 it's does take a little while. 00:20:21.15\00:20:22.65 And so..can I put it there? Yes, you go ahead 00:20:22.68\00:20:25.55 So what you're not gonna lie to us, well I hope not. 00:20:25.85\00:20:28.49 No I'm not gonna lie to you. It's gonna take a little while 00:20:28.52\00:20:30.43 So the paste starts off lookin like this, nice and green 00:20:30.46\00:20:35.16 and creamy. I'm gonna cook that on low heat 00:20:35.20\00:20:37.83 for about 45-60 minutes 00:20:37.87\00:20:39.83 45-60 minutes? Yes and there's a reason why we need to do that 00:20:41.10\00:20:44.31 Nice. Ok why is that? 00:20:44.34\00:20:45.67 Ok what we need to do is, at the moment there's a lot of oil 00:20:45.71\00:20:48.61 droplets in there. Really small oil droplets. What we need 00:20:48.64\00:20:52.11 to do is make those droplets come together into larger oil 00:20:52.15\00:20:55.75 droplets so that we are able to extract the oil easier 00:20:55.78\00:20:59.22 Now there's a weird name for that. What's that process called 00:20:59.25\00:21:02.62 Called Malaxation. So Relaxation. You just relax 00:21:02.66\00:21:06.39 a little bit there, relaxation? Malaxation. Malax 00:21:06.43\00:21:11.03 So mastication, so you have to chew it and spit it back out 00:21:11.07\00:21:14.07 Malaxation. Malaxation. So I just let this go ahead and 00:21:14.10\00:21:18.51 relax a little bit. That's right So in about 45-60 minutes 00:21:18.54\00:21:22.44 on a low heat. What do I do after? On a low heat you keep 00:21:22.48\00:21:24.98 stirring now, every 5 minutes you keep stirring it 00:21:25.01\00:21:27.65 and eventually that there should end up looking like the 00:21:27.68\00:21:30.69 finished product that we have. 00:21:30.72\00:21:32.19 So we have the finished product. Let me go ahead and get another 00:21:32.22\00:21:35.79 one of the finished product that you've been workin on 00:21:35.82\00:21:38.76 you could put that on the side there. Ok. 00:21:38.79\00:21:40.36 OK, alright and this is the finished product, wow! 00:21:40.40\00:21:43.83 It went from coconut cream to coconut avocado 00:21:43.87\00:21:50.31 I don't know what this thing is but it looks burnt or something 00:21:51.21\00:21:54.21 That's how it's meant to look it's meant to look a dark brown 00:21:54.24\00:21:56.81 or a dark green and that's an indication that it's ready 00:21:56.85\00:22:00.18 for pressing so we're gonna get the oil out now. 00:22:00.22\00:22:02.48 So that's perfect. So I stop right here? Yeah 00:22:02.52\00:22:04.72 you can stop right there. So what we gonna do now 00:22:04.75\00:22:08.66 is we're gonna take some of that paste and we're gonna 00:22:08.69\00:22:11.66 put it into the cloth we have right here and we're gonna 00:22:11.69\00:22:14.83 extract the oil. So we're gonna extract the oil, okay? 00:22:14.86\00:22:18.20 Indeed. Let's do that then. OK 00:22:18.23\00:22:20.64 Ok, so you wanna use this spoon here? 00:22:20.67\00:22:22.80 Let me do that. Now if you don't mind let me, why don't 00:22:22.84\00:22:27.68 you pour this in for me cause I have to learn. So we're gonna 00:22:27.71\00:22:30.31 switch spots here, actually ok that's good, that's good 00:22:30.35\00:22:33.82 scoot over a little bit, yeah 00:22:33.85\00:22:35.42 Now be careful cause it's still a little bit hot 00:22:35.45\00:22:37.45 Yeah, so usually you let it cool down 00:22:37.49\00:22:40.22 just a little bit and stuff of that nature 00:22:40.26\00:22:41.82 Correct. And then you put that there 00:22:41.86\00:22:43.93 I'm gonna put all this mixture right in there. 00:22:43.96\00:22:46.83 I'm gonna put some more in there for ya 00:22:46.86\00:22:48.56 There you go. Oh, this looks like. I could probably throw 00:22:49.26\00:22:53.40 some oats with this and make an avocado coconut burger 00:22:53.44\00:22:58.87 or something of that nature 00:22:58.91\00:23:00.84 Ok so what you need to do now Wow look at that oil 00:23:00.88\00:23:03.85 You can see it already, can't you? 00:23:03.88\00:23:05.68 Start to twist that cloth there 00:23:05.71\00:23:08.02 Twist it all the way down to put the paste under pressure 00:23:08.05\00:23:12.82 You can see it's all... WOW it's trying to come out there 00:23:12.85\00:23:15.79 Avocado oil, I'm making a mess look at me, don't get too, oh my 00:23:15.82\00:23:20.60 Glory, this is amazing! Wonderful! 00:23:20.63\00:23:23.13 What? This is avocado oil? It sure is. 00:23:23.16\00:23:27.60 And what you can do with that you can mix it with some natural 00:23:27.64\00:23:30.57 coconut oil, some olive oil or something like that 00:23:30.61\00:23:33.24 to make it stretch. That is amazing. Yeah 00:23:33.27\00:23:36.08 I made oil, watch it now. What I would like to do personally 00:23:37.45\00:23:40.45 is put it in some sort of container so I can easily 00:23:40.48\00:23:42.88 apply it to my scalp and put it through my hair 00:23:42.92\00:23:45.19 so that's wonderful. 00:23:45.22\00:23:47.49 That is pretty neat. Good job, good job. 00:23:47.52\00:23:49.89 You're teachin me, you're teachin me. There's probably 00:23:49.92\00:23:53.06 more oil in there. There is a lot more oil in there. 00:23:53.09\00:23:55.36 I've squeezed it enough so what do you do you pour that in there 00:23:55.40\00:23:57.80 Yes. I'm gonna put this over here. Do you want to tip that 00:23:57.83\00:23:59.73 in there? Yeah sure. So we have avocado oil. Look at that 00:23:59.77\00:24:05.37 No way, I can't believe it right now. It's wonderful. 00:24:05.41\00:24:08.31 I know you think I'm just hypin up a bit. No, no, no 00:24:08.34\00:24:10.41 This is awesome. Let me grab something. Ok 00:24:10.45\00:24:14.28 Oil, look at that. Let me wipe it in my hair. 00:24:14.32\00:24:17.19 You could do that. But while you're doing that you did 00:24:17.22\00:24:19.52 something there. You see the pulp that we're left with 00:24:19.55\00:24:21.82 Yeah, ok. This stuff here. 00:24:21.86\00:24:23.56 That's right. If I could get this from over here 00:24:23.59\00:24:26.06 You don't need to throw the pulp away. 00:24:26.09\00:24:28.60 There are things you can do with that. 00:24:28.63\00:24:30.40 Like I said, Avocado is also very good for the skin 00:24:30.43\00:24:33.37 So what you can do is make a facial mask out of that 00:24:33.40\00:24:36.40 blend some cucumber in with that. 00:24:36.44\00:24:38.01 So you mean I still can't throw this away? 00:24:38.04\00:24:39.81 Don't throw it away. Don't throw anything away. 00:24:39.84\00:24:41.81 We can still use this. So we're gonna mix that in with some 00:24:41.84\00:24:44.35 with some cucumber over there. So we've done that one already 00:24:44.38\00:24:48.12 So you take the cucumber. I know cucumber is very good 00:24:48.15\00:24:50.89 And y'all need to check this out real quick. 00:24:50.92\00:24:53.42 I remember one time I was on the beach, alright. 00:24:53.46\00:24:56.89 I was on the beach, I was hangin out thinking I'm gonna 00:24:56.93\00:25:00.40 gonna have a good time and the sun got a little hot. I'm like 00:25:00.43\00:25:04.10 My mother is from Trinidad she's Black but I totally 00:25:04.13\00:25:07.04 forgot that my father is White he's Italian. And so I'm just 00:25:07.07\00:25:10.07 like havin a good time. I was like, you know people of a 00:25:10.11\00:25:13.04 darker complexion need seven times more sunlight than those 00:25:13.07\00:25:15.71 of a lighter complexion. I'm like, I'm Black 00:25:15.74\00:25:17.58 and then the sun burned me and I ended up looking like a 00:25:17.61\00:25:20.02 a cherry tomato and my friends were laughin at me 00:25:20.05\00:25:23.18 and they were like, you gotta stick to your roots 00:25:23.22\00:25:25.02 I said well my roots is all split up. And they were just 00:25:25.05\00:25:27.82 makin fun and I was like what am I gonna do? They were like 00:25:27.86\00:25:29.62 put cream and stuff. I ran to the restaurant and asked them 00:25:29.66\00:25:32.36 for what? Cucumber. I took the cucumber and wiped it all over 00:25:32.39\00:25:35.66 my face, all over my body and the next morning 00:25:35.70\00:25:38.33 sunburn was gone. So that's pretty good. So cucumber 00:25:38.37\00:25:41.47 is good for the skin as well. It sure is, so you mix that in 00:25:41.50\00:25:43.94 in the blender the same way we mix the avocado 00:25:43.97\00:25:45.97 mix it altogether and there's a face mask right there. 00:25:46.01\00:25:48.11 Ok, so you take this now with cut up cucumbers 00:25:48.14\00:25:51.98 put it back in the blender, blend it again 00:25:52.01\00:25:54.32 Poor avocados are like, leave me alone you know. 00:25:54.35\00:25:56.75 You know what I mean? I'm done 00:25:56.79\00:25:58.69 Um and then what? And then you have this right here. 00:25:58.72\00:26:01.69 You do indeed. So what to do with this now? 00:26:01.72\00:26:03.69 You just put it on your face. Just as simple as that 00:26:03.73\00:26:05.66 Put it on your face, leave it on for a little bit, wash it off 00:26:05.69\00:26:08.20 and then you're good to go. 00:26:08.23\00:26:09.56 No way. It's that simple 00:26:09.60\00:26:12.37 When I see this I only think about eating it, you know 00:26:12.40\00:26:14.90 what I mean? And so this is pretty good. Alright, alright 00:26:14.94\00:26:17.97 but isn't this kinda little expensive to do, because 00:26:18.01\00:26:21.14 these are Hmm avocados. I call them Hmm avocados because they 00:26:21.18\00:26:24.35 are like so small, like Hmm and it's already done, you're 00:26:24.38\00:26:30.69 already ate it. So it's quite expensive no to make this. 00:26:30.72\00:26:34.02 Well the things is, the amount of money we tend to spend 00:26:34.06\00:26:37.33 on our hair anyway in comparison it's really not that expensive 00:26:37.36\00:26:40.66 The biggest investment you're going to make doing this 00:26:40.70\00:26:43.70 all the time as opposed to the money, so if you think about 00:26:43.73\00:26:46.63 the amount that you can spend on hair oil, your hair moisturizer 00:26:46.67\00:26:49.77 or hair shampoo and things of that nature, it's a lot more 00:26:49.80\00:26:52.67 expensive than making some simple avocado oil 00:26:52.71\00:26:55.21 Ok, ok. Well let me get back over here if you don't mind 00:26:55.24\00:26:58.18 we'll switch up a little bit so this one's still cooking 00:26:58.21\00:27:00.58 so I'll just keep an eye on that and keep mixin every 5 minutes 00:27:00.62\00:27:03.72 and then we should be good. So it's actually, actually 00:27:04.02\00:27:07.72 it's actually worth it to be honest with you all 00:27:07.76\00:27:11.09 I think we should all give it a try you know. It may cost 00:27:11.13\00:27:14.40 you a little extra but it's actually not costing you anythin 00:27:14.43\00:27:16.67 you ever notice when you go to the store and buy these avocados 00:27:16.70\00:27:19.80 and you get some, you ate some and the rest you have all these 00:27:19.83\00:27:22.84 black lines and they start goin bad on you? 00:27:22.87\00:27:24.71 We don't have to throw that away no more. 00:27:24.74\00:27:27.14 That's actually the best time to use it, to make this. So 00:27:27.18\00:27:31.51 if you don't have all of the 4 avocados that are spoiled 00:27:31.55\00:27:34.48 or bad at the same time, no problem. Take that, put that 00:27:34.52\00:27:37.09 in the freezer in a ziplock bag save it until you have enough 00:27:37.12\00:27:41.16 and then you make this same recipe so you can be good lookin 00:27:41.19\00:27:45.43 You could be cookin and makin some avocado oil the same time 00:27:45.46\00:27:49.60 and actually you save even more So not only are you savin 00:27:49.63\00:27:53.90 but you're lookin good and you are cookin with some nice 00:27:53.94\00:27:57.07 avocado oil. So enjoy and give it a try. 00:27:57.11\00:28:00.01
