Have you ever wondered how to exactly prepare healthy food 00:00:01.36\00:00:04.17 that actually tastes good? Well stay tuned while Evita Tezeno 00:00:04.20\00:00:07.77 and yours truly Nyse Collins shows you just how to do it 00:00:07.80\00:00:10.71 and give you something better a Taste of Paradise 00:00:10.74\00:00:14.18 Welcome to a Taste of Paradise My name is Evita Tezeno 00:00:29.86\00:00:33.86 and today we're going to make a vegan raw Manicotti 00:00:33.90\00:00:40.14 with an herb tomato sauce. 00:00:40.17\00:00:43.07 This is delicious 00:00:43.10\00:00:46.11 and here's the recipe 00:00:46.14\00:00:47.84 So what we're going to do is take a zucchini 00:01:01.62\00:01:06.06 and take the ends off of it 00:01:06.09\00:01:09.43 and this is another one of my favorite tools 00:01:09.46\00:01:13.34 it's called a Mandolin 00:01:13.37\00:01:15.74 and no, you can't play it. You use it as a kitchen tool. 00:01:16.94\00:01:21.48 What you do is you use the Mandolin as a cutting tool 00:01:22.81\00:01:30.82 and it makes these beautiful zucchini noodles 00:01:30.85\00:01:35.52 and this is what you're going to use as a shell 00:01:35.56\00:01:40.20 for the manicotti 00:01:40.23\00:01:42.73 So in a dish you take the zucchini. Place it in here 00:01:44.73\00:01:51.77 the night before and sprinkle salt and oil on it 00:01:51.81\00:01:56.68 and it becomes very, very pliable. 00:01:56.71\00:02:00.95 So we set this aside and now we're going to begin with 00:02:00.98\00:02:07.49 the cream sauce that goes inside of the manicotti 00:02:07.52\00:02:10.29 The recipe for the filling 00:02:16.43\00:02:20.14 So we start with the sunflower seeds 00:02:49.13\00:02:53.47 We process these 00:02:57.21\00:02:59.37 Water 00:03:12.29\00:03:15.52 Italian spices 00:03:15.56\00:03:18.63 Nutritional Yeast 00:03:18.66\00:03:21.16 Olive oil 00:03:22.50\00:03:24.53 Salt 00:03:24.57\00:03:27.40 And we're going to garlic press 00:03:27.44\00:03:30.57 use the garlic press to press out garlic 00:03:30.61\00:03:34.68 Garlic is a wonderful cure. You can use it when you have a cold 00:03:38.31\00:03:45.15 It makes food very, very delicious 00:03:46.45\00:03:49.86 and I love lots of garlic in my food 00:03:49.89\00:03:53.66 So we want to process this again 00:03:53.70\00:03:56.46 And now we want to start adding spinach a little bit at a time 00:04:05.47\00:04:08.84 This is another way to get your pounds of greens in a day 00:04:30.57\00:04:33.94 Spinach is high in iron. It has lots of calcium 00:04:33.97\00:04:39.77 And I need to get a spoon 00:04:51.42\00:04:54.06 to encourage it along 00:04:57.19\00:04:58.73 That's the last of the spinach 00:05:29.72\00:05:32.83 Oh this smells divine. Look at it. Isn't this beautiful? 00:05:52.01\00:05:57.29 It's so nice and creamy 00:05:57.32\00:05:59.55 Wow, I can't wait. 00:06:00.89\00:06:02.92 So for the next recipe the herb sauce 00:06:02.96\00:06:08.66 So we're going to begin our sauce 00:07:00.48\00:07:04.22 These are red bell peppers 00:07:06.32\00:07:08.69 Chopped tomatoes 00:07:09.92\00:07:11.39 Sun dried tomatoes 00:07:13.53\00:07:16.46 Fresh oregano, Mmm love it 00:07:16.50\00:07:20.07 Italian parsley 00:07:20.10\00:07:22.80 Basil 00:07:24.54\00:07:27.11 And that's what amazing about Italian food, it's loaded 00:07:27.14\00:07:30.51 with so many different herbs 00:07:30.55\00:07:32.45 This is cayenne 00:07:32.48\00:07:35.85 Thyme and olive oil completes the recipe 00:07:35.88\00:07:40.29 And garlic and sea salt 00:07:43.43\00:07:45.93 And then we process 00:07:47.56\00:07:49.80 Now we add the water from the soaked dried tomatoes 00:08:18.53\00:08:23.06 So now let's put it all together 00:08:34.21\00:08:36.85 So we have the zucchini that's been soaking overnight 00:08:50.39\00:08:56.06 And let's get our plate ready 00:08:57.30\00:09:00.54 And we're going to use these as the noodles 00:09:03.61\00:09:05.87 We line them up 00:09:09.41\00:09:13.11 Get a little of the filling. Oh this is going to be so delicious 00:09:13.15\00:09:18.99 And we roll it like this 00:09:19.02\00:09:22.06 See how easy that is 00:09:23.63\00:09:25.63 That's pretty and you want to put the uh uh 00:09:25.66\00:09:28.90 the inside down and continue 00:09:29.60\00:09:34.07 And what's so regular Italian food is you usually use 00:09:36.00\00:09:42.44 processed flour for the noodles and this is all vegetable 00:09:42.48\00:09:50.59 you don't have to worry about getting fat from it 00:09:50.62\00:09:58.36 cause with all those carbo hydrates, this is straight plant 00:09:58.39\00:10:04.27 This is just wonderful 00:10:04.30\00:10:07.37 So we continue rolling it 00:10:10.57\00:10:13.84 We add our wonderful herb sauce 00:10:23.69\00:10:27.76 Doesn't that look wonderful? Look at the colors 00:10:34.90\00:10:37.70 And it smells amazing. And then we take a little hemp seed 00:10:37.73\00:10:43.67 and we garnish it 00:10:45.07\00:10:47.14 I'm ready to eat this right now. This is so, doesn't it look good 00:10:49.68\00:10:55.25 This is a fabulous dish. It's fresh, it's Italian 00:10:55.28\00:11:01.72 Even your kids would love it. Remember, live life fresh! 00:11:01.76\00:11:07.23 Are you stressed out? 00:11:15.00\00:11:16.74 Is life actin like, or feelin like it's just all crumblin 00:11:16.77\00:11:20.81 down on you? And you're like how do I get myself out of this 00:11:20.84\00:11:24.15 stress? This is going wrong, that is going wrong 00:11:24.18\00:11:26.75 it almost seems like nothing is going right 00:11:26.78\00:11:28.95 Well I've felt that way sometimes too 00:11:28.98\00:11:31.59 and sometimes, let's say it's stress or people dealing with 00:11:31.62\00:11:35.49 different situations, what is normally the thing that we go 00:11:35.52\00:11:38.53 to? What gives us that comfort besides God we hope will 00:11:38.56\00:11:42.26 be the number one, a person that we go to 00:11:42.30\00:11:45.03 but many times when we go to something, we end up going to 00:11:45.07\00:11:48.87 something alright and it ends up being dessert. 00:11:48.90\00:11:51.27 Have you ever realized stressed spelled backwards is dessert? 00:11:51.31\00:11:56.01 That's what I just realized myself. And it kinda makes 00:11:56.04\00:12:00.32 sense. You ever notice like if a girl, her heart is broken or 00:12:00.35\00:12:03.18 something like that? Who does call? She don't call Mom or 00:12:03.22\00:12:05.55 Dad or a pastor or anything she calls on a supermarket 00:12:05.59\00:12:09.46 and she picks up a big pint or quart of what? Ice-cream 00:12:09.49\00:12:13.86 One in particular, chocolate ice-cream 00:12:13.90\00:12:15.86 It shows that some of the chemicals in the ice-cream 00:12:15.90\00:12:21.47 gives you the spirit of like you know what, everything's ok 00:12:21.50\00:12:26.04 Lemme have some more. And as a result we get through the stress 00:12:26.07\00:12:30.95 tentatively, the problem is never really solved, but we 00:12:30.98\00:12:33.45 get through it and we start to become dependent. 00:12:33.48\00:12:35.98 Oh I don't feel good today this life is going crazy 00:12:36.02\00:12:38.55 give me another one. And if you notice sometimes we walk 00:12:38.59\00:12:40.76 in our clients house and they're dealing with a lot of stress 00:12:40.79\00:12:43.29 and stuff. The reason I can share these testimonies with you 00:12:43.32\00:12:45.06 is cause they said, tell every body and we go to the fridge 00:12:45.09\00:12:47.70 and like the fridge is empty but you know what's stacked to brim? 00:12:47.73\00:12:51.20 The freezer. Ice cream this, dessert that and pastry this 00:12:51.23\00:12:55.40 and so what we're gonna do now we're gonna de-stress ourselves 00:12:55.44\00:12:59.44 by the grace of God but we're going to do it using desserts 00:12:59.47\00:13:02.81 So today we're gonna have some de-stressert cookies which is 00:13:02.84\00:13:07.72 fantastic and a lot of people enjoy them. But the key is even 00:13:07.75\00:13:10.79 before we get to the cookies cause these cookies are 00:13:10.82\00:13:12.65 amazing without the chemicals that may give us the sense of 00:13:12.69\00:13:15.62 false sense of good feeling and stuff of that nature 00:13:15.66\00:13:20.50 but we're gonna use other ones that are really good for us 00:13:20.53\00:13:24.07 So not only are we first gonna tackle stress head on 00:13:24.10\00:13:27.44 we're also gonna fill in the little blanks, the little empty 00:13:27.47\00:13:31.47 spots in there also. And you know what I was lookin at 00:13:31.51\00:13:34.61 one person reminded me of this the other day when I was talkin 00:13:34.64\00:13:38.31 to them they said, there's probably a reason why they 00:13:38.35\00:13:41.08 enjoy the food and the drug administration, you know what 00:13:41.12\00:13:44.25 I mean cause food sometimes works like a drug and you may 00:13:44.29\00:13:47.16 have seen it on other programs that people when they're goin 00:13:47.19\00:13:50.13 through different situations they go to those comfort foods 00:13:50.16\00:13:53.23 they go to this, they go to that and as a result 00:13:53.26\00:13:55.66 they start addin on those blessings. And you say man 00:13:55.70\00:13:57.93 what happened along the way? You know, should we change 00:13:57.97\00:14:00.77 the diet? You know people say I want to balance my blessings 00:14:00.80\00:14:03.17 aka, lose weight or something and you know I wanna do it but 00:14:03.20\00:14:06.27 we always try to ask them, where did this start? And they say, oh 00:14:06.31\00:14:09.64 I went through a rough time and unfortunately sometimes I may 00:14:09.68\00:14:12.18 have been bored, sometimes it may have been a break up 00:14:12.21\00:14:14.25 maybe the loss of a job, maybe the loss of a loved one 00:14:14.32\00:14:17.85 or something of that nature. I went through a hard time 00:14:17.89\00:14:20.36 a stressful time and I ended up that's when it all started. 00:14:20.39\00:14:24.79 So what we're gonna do, we're gonna look at some tips here 00:14:24.83\00:14:27.70 for how to combat, how to combat stress because stress 00:14:27.73\00:14:32.43 is like really knocking people out. A lot of people don't 00:14:32.47\00:14:35.10 talk about stress discouragement not only that, depression 00:14:35.14\00:14:39.87 as well. Matter of fact they were showin a couple of surveys 00:14:39.91\00:14:42.44 they were showin in one church something of that nature, 00:14:42.48\00:14:44.78 like almost 60% of women were depressed at one point 00:14:44.81\00:14:48.72 or another. Thank the Lord they didn't study the men because 00:14:48.75\00:14:52.02 the men would've probably been 99%. We just don't admit it. 00:14:52.05\00:14:54.92 So women don't worry about it. Men do deal with this situation 00:14:54.96\00:14:58.33 but they try to hide it and stuff of that nature. Depression 00:14:58.36\00:15:01.40 is a huge thing but nobody talks about it. Yeah I have 00:15:01.43\00:15:04.87 high blood pressure, I have high cholesterol, but you never 00:15:04.90\00:15:07.00 hear anybody saying, yeah I'm depressed. Yeah I'm stressed out 00:15:07.04\00:15:10.27 because it's kind of taboo you know. Nobody really wants to 00:15:10.31\00:15:14.01 talk about it but everybody is dealing with it in one way or 00:15:14.04\00:15:17.71 another. It just almost seems like it's a part of life. 00:15:17.75\00:15:20.42 So I wanna share with you just 4 little points. We have 2 00:15:20.45\00:15:22.98 recipes today that we're gonna give you all. One is gonna be 00:15:23.02\00:15:25.95 for our de-stresser cookies but this one I think is even more 00:15:25.99\00:15:30.16 important. How to tackle stress So get your pen, your paper 00:15:30.19\00:15:33.26 and let's write it down and we're gonna put it up here 00:15:33.29\00:15:35.56 for you. Simple way to tackle stress. 00:15:35.60\00:15:37.53 What is the cause of the problem? 00:15:41.30\00:15:43.97 What are we gonna do, we're gonna face it head on. 00:15:50.78\00:15:52.71 None of this goin around the corner and takin the long route 00:15:52.75\00:15:56.48 A lot of times when it's not handled, when we don't face it 00:16:00.16\00:16:03.12 head on, we take the scenic route around our problems 00:16:03.16\00:16:06.06 what happens? We start to worry and we really don't recognize 00:16:06.09\00:16:10.20 that we're in the situation and it's called aka denial 00:16:10.23\00:16:13.54 And one last tip and the most important. 00:16:13.57\00:16:16.20 We saved the best for last. 00:16:16.24\00:16:17.61 So I'm gonna go through it one more time. 00:16:21.94\00:16:23.28 If you actually look at those simple principles 00:16:34.22\00:16:37.13 it's almost like the path to salvation if I can say so. 00:16:37.16\00:16:41.33 We have to realize where we are in our state, 00:16:41.36\00:16:44.73 in our sinful state probably, and slowly but surely 00:16:44.77\00:16:48.57 we have to face it head on, we can't be in denial and say 00:16:48.60\00:16:50.94 I got this under control, because we don't. We can't do it 00:16:50.97\00:16:54.48 on our own and we have to recognize that you know what 00:16:54.51\00:16:57.95 sometimes it's really causin a problem. We look at a lot of 00:16:57.98\00:17:02.75 ailments and different diseases and stuff of that nature 00:17:02.78\00:17:05.12 the key, the key where all, not all, but where a lot of it 00:17:05.15\00:17:09.86 starts is right here, stress how we handle situations 00:17:09.89\00:17:13.26 we try to handle it on our own. There's a little writin 00:17:13.29\00:17:16.03 that says disease basically is nature's way of tellin us that 00:17:16.06\00:17:21.37 we have violated the law of health and the simple principle 00:17:21.40\00:17:23.71 to help us trust in God. So when we don't trust in God 00:17:23.74\00:17:26.64 try to take everything on our shoulder and try to handle it 00:17:26.68\00:17:29.38 and it doesn't work. Doesn't work. So what we gonna do? 00:17:29.41\00:17:32.48 We gonna start trusting in God and you know what the Lord does 00:17:32.51\00:17:36.22 He forgives us of our sins and we let it go. 00:17:36.25\00:17:39.42 But I'll tell you this and I have to share this with you 00:17:39.45\00:17:41.82 There's this little situation that always comes to remind you 00:17:41.86\00:17:46.43 of what you've done. That's it y'all. You did your part 00:17:46.46\00:17:50.07 realized where we went wrong, we made it right. 00:17:50.10\00:17:52.13 You know in stressful situations it could be our jobs. A lot of 00:17:52.17\00:17:55.64 times people are saying I have to work so hard, it's stressin 00:17:55.67\00:17:58.74 me out. But when we get to the root of the problem 00:17:58.77\00:18:01.74 when we look at the real trigger well, I sat down with a client 00:18:01.78\00:18:05.28 they were stressed out. What do we do Nyse? 00:18:05.31\00:18:07.92 I said, well let's look at some principles. What is the trigger? 00:18:07.95\00:18:10.52 Well we have to work so hard. Why do we work so hard? 00:18:10.55\00:18:13.76 Well we have to pay bills. What's the next question? 00:18:13.79\00:18:16.19 Trying to ascertain what the true cause is. 00:18:16.22\00:18:18.33 They said, well we have this house to pay, this car to pay 00:18:18.36\00:18:21.46 So why do we have so much debt? When we looked at it and started 00:18:21.50\00:18:26.07 diggin, we're tryin to find the true cause to know their trigger 00:18:26.10\00:18:29.24 you know what, I said why did you buy this 7 bedroom home 00:18:29.27\00:18:32.51 and you're only using two. 00:18:32.54\00:18:35.54 Why do we have to drive the newest car on the market 00:18:35.58\00:18:38.81 matter of fact we're in 2000 some odd years and they drivin 00:18:38.85\00:18:42.55 2000 and the next decade car. Cars two years in advance 00:18:42.58\00:18:47.06 Why do we need this? And you know what they said? 00:18:47.09\00:18:49.42 My sister lives in this neighborhood. 00:18:49.46\00:18:52.89 My friend drives this kind of car. 00:18:52.93\00:18:57.00 These are the newest shoes or the newest bag, or 00:18:57.03\00:19:01.64 for us guys the newest machine. And what we realize is we're 00:19:01.67\00:19:07.74 trying to keep up with the Jones'. 00:19:07.78\00:19:09.61 The James', the Bobs' you name it, Regies, who knows? 00:19:09.64\00:19:12.95 You know we're always tryin to keep up with these people 00:19:12.98\00:19:15.05 But let's let it go cause we're gonna trust in God 00:19:15.08\00:19:17.19 and He's gonna help us. Now that was good. 00:19:17.22\00:19:19.29 But y'all are like, come on, Alright, alright I understand 00:19:19.32\00:19:22.52 But I would like some des, you're ready for this? 00:19:22.56\00:19:26.93 De-stresserts cookies! 00:19:26.96\00:19:29.30 Are you ready for the destressert cookies, the healthy 00:19:29.33\00:19:32.30 ones? We're not gonna go for the chocolate chip 00:19:32.33\00:19:33.67 We're gonna go for the de-stresser cookies 00:19:33.70\00:19:35.24 Get your pen and write this down it's really simple to help us 00:19:35.27\00:19:38.24 That's the recipe here. I want y'all to get this because this 00:20:11.37\00:20:15.14 one is dangerously good for you. 00:20:15.18\00:20:17.45 Now that means it's so good that you may eat too much 00:20:17.48\00:20:20.68 and we want you to be temperate in all things. 00:20:20.72\00:20:22.58 Notice as well we put vanilla as optional and we really don't 00:20:22.62\00:20:26.15 use it here. Now vanilla is phenomenal but it works as a 00:20:26.19\00:20:29.52 little stimulant. So for a person who has high cholesterol 00:20:29.56\00:20:31.83 as it stimulates, it stimulates the gall bladder 00:20:31.86\00:20:34.13 the gall bladder empties the bile and that means your liver 00:20:34.16\00:20:38.17 should reproduce more bile and a person who has high cholesterol 00:20:38.20\00:20:41.87 you don't want that to happen but vanilla is fantastic 00:20:41.90\00:20:43.94 if you want to use it, great. What I like to do 00:20:43.97\00:20:46.27 is I like to add a little extra honey, maple syrup or something 00:20:46.31\00:20:49.64 something of that nature. So let's get to this dessert cause 00:20:49.68\00:20:52.45 I want some de-stresser cookies All we have to do is take the 00:20:52.48\00:20:57.65 walnuts ok. So we take the ground walnuts. You buy regular 00:20:57.69\00:21:02.02 walnuts. These are reasonably priced in the store and I'll 00:21:02.06\00:21:04.63 tell you about these walnuts here in a second 00:21:04.66\00:21:06.23 They're amazingly good for you and as a matter of fact 00:21:06.26\00:21:09.36 I'll tell you right now as I stir this. 00:21:09.40\00:21:12.63 Which organ of the body does the walnut look like? 00:21:12.67\00:21:16.47 You got it, it looks like the brain. 00:21:18.07\00:21:19.97 So which organ of the body is it good for? 00:21:20.01\00:21:22.51 It's good for the brain. Simple easy now don't start grabbin 00:21:22.54\00:21:25.61 different fruits, hey this looks like my kidney so maybe 00:21:25.65\00:21:28.25 it's good for the kidney and start adding stuff up. 00:21:28.28\00:21:30.39 Please let your doctor know if you have a problem 00:21:30.42\00:21:32.79 don't try to look at a certain fruit or veggie and compare them 00:21:32.82\00:21:35.79 and start eatin it. But that's one little neat thing to share 00:21:35.82\00:21:39.59 So here's the walnut and one other brain food good for us 00:21:39.63\00:21:45.97 linseed or flax seed as many call it as well 00:21:46.00\00:21:50.44 This has been ground. I want to encourage you we're not gonna 00:21:50.47\00:21:54.28 buy the already ground, we're gonna buy the whole seed 00:21:54.31\00:21:58.95 actually and grind it ourselves. Many times you may see flaxseed 00:21:58.98\00:22:02.52 oil. We're not sayin it real bad or anything, it's good but not 00:22:02.55\00:22:07.86 as good as fresh. You see what happens is if you leave the oil 00:22:07.89\00:22:11.36 there too long it will go rancid quite easily. That's why if you 00:22:11.39\00:22:15.63 notice when you go to the health food store 00:22:15.66\00:22:17.20 and they have the flaxseed oil it's usually in the refrigerator 00:22:17.23\00:22:22.14 cause it has to keep cool. Why? Cause it spoils, it goes rancid 00:22:22.17\00:22:25.94 and will cause another problem as a result. 00:22:25.97\00:22:28.08 So I encourage people because those are kind of expensive 00:22:28.11\00:22:31.35 you know what I'm talkin about. They're a little pricey 00:22:31.38\00:22:33.21 I encourage you to just buy the flaxseed itself, just the whole 00:22:33.25\00:22:37.12 flaxseed and bring it home and grind it in a coffee grinder 00:22:37.15\00:22:40.16 or if you have a blender put a good amount in the blender 00:22:40.19\00:22:42.99 and blend it dry ok, blend it dry and you should be fine 00:22:43.02\00:22:47.56 and it's the cheapest thing around. You make enough 00:22:47.60\00:22:49.80 put it in a glass jar stick it in the fridge, use it for the 00:22:49.83\00:22:52.40 week and next week just make a new batch. Alright, So save 00:22:52.43\00:22:55.54 yourself some money and enjoy it that way, ok? 00:22:55.57\00:22:57.94 Then we're gonna take some whole wheat pastry flour 00:22:57.97\00:23:01.64 As you see here I'm tryin to do this first, I'm gonna mix 00:23:02.91\00:23:05.75 all my dry ingredients. Then I have a little salt, sea salt 00:23:05.78\00:23:11.55 which is necessary for flavor as well. A lot of people do this 00:23:11.59\00:23:16.22 no salt diets and they give us a call, I don't do any salt 00:23:16.26\00:23:20.83 at all and they wonder why their neck is swollen and stuff 00:23:20.86\00:23:23.70 You know what that is? That's goiter. Okay? 00:23:23.73\00:23:26.20 In general. But ask your physician first and that's 00:23:26.23\00:23:30.64 cause when you pull all salt out as a result you're missin 00:23:30.67\00:23:33.71 on a very necessary element called Iodine. So a little salt 00:23:33.74\00:23:38.45 is not gonna hurt anybody. Now we're gonna add some carob chips 00:23:38.48\00:23:41.95 These are very nice and take the place of chocolate chips 00:23:41.98\00:23:45.62 If you wanna use it, great. If you don't have it doesn't mean 00:23:46.96\00:23:50.43 you cannot do the recipe. You continue still. This is just a 00:23:50.46\00:23:55.63 how could I put it? 00:23:56.80\00:23:58.13 It's just for appearance purpose and yes, carobs do taste nice 00:24:00.10\00:24:03.77 Let me call a time out real quick 00:24:03.81\00:24:05.51 A lot of people are tryin to replace chocolate with carob 00:24:05.54\00:24:07.84 It's not the same. I'm just being honest with y'all 00:24:07.88\00:24:09.61 A lot of times people replace stuff hey it tastes just as good 00:24:09.64\00:24:13.01 Nothing can taste like chocolate I remember I was working 00:24:13.05\00:24:15.82 with a client who said if chocolate is no good for you 00:24:15.85\00:24:18.55 I'm not going to use it at all. Somebody's like try carob 00:24:18.59\00:24:20.96 He said if it looks like the real thing and kinda smells like 00:24:20.99\00:24:24.33 the real thing, it better be the real thing. Don't give me no 00:24:24.36\00:24:27.00 perpetrators. I said, ouch! You know what I mean? 00:24:27.03\00:24:29.26 And so I left him alone there and he doesn't use any of it 00:24:29.30\00:24:33.37 but it's good, enjoy it. We're gonna put some honey in there 00:24:33.40\00:24:36.50 Ok? So we're gonna add the honey to this and we're gonna 00:24:36.54\00:24:41.14 go ahead and finish it up with a nice little serving there 00:24:41.18\00:24:46.25 of the maple syrup. I'm gonna pour this in 00:24:46.28\00:24:48.98 You can use Agave Nectar, you can use any of these items 00:24:50.35\00:24:54.96 these are just sweeteners. If you don't like it too sweet 00:24:54.99\00:24:57.89 not a problem, not a problem if you don't like it too sweet 00:24:57.93\00:25:01.20 you just put less. So just mix that up nicely 00:25:01.23\00:25:05.53 get your hands in it, get the kids cooking with you 00:25:05.57\00:25:08.84 get the kids cookin along. I'm having a blast over here 00:25:09.60\00:25:12.54 movin this thing all over the place and these are gonna be 00:25:12.57\00:25:16.64 delicious, delicious cookies. As you see I'm makin a mess 00:25:16.68\00:25:20.28 but hey we're in the kitchen. Who's keepin track of this here 00:25:20.32\00:25:22.88 Let's look at the linseed or the flaxseed and the walnuts 00:25:22.92\00:25:29.39 I wanna tell you something really important about those 00:25:29.42\00:25:31.59 The reason why they're so good for de-stressin and good for 00:25:31.63\00:25:34.73 the mind, depression, anxiety disorders and other items 00:25:34.76\00:25:39.87 is because they provide, those together provide your omega 3 00:25:39.90\00:25:43.74 6, 9. I mean they're amazing items. A lot of people say 00:25:43.77\00:25:48.14 Well, do I have to buy fish oil or this oil or that oil 00:25:48.18\00:25:51.68 you already have it right here in this cookie. Who knew 00:25:51.71\00:25:54.72 this cookie would be so good it could provide all of those 00:25:54.75\00:25:58.15 benefits for you. So you mix it up nicely 00:25:58.19\00:26:02.72 there, and oh let me tell you about the fish oil s well. Hey 00:26:02.76\00:26:05.59 if it comes from an animal that has a liver so you gonna 00:26:05.63\00:26:08.46 notice that it may have some cholesterol in it 00:26:08.50\00:26:12.67 So there you go. See a nice little batter there? 00:26:12.70\00:26:16.27 And then you just make cookies. Easiest thing to do even if you 00:26:16.30\00:26:20.74 don't want to get your hands dirty but it's almost possible 00:26:20.78\00:26:23.61 You could get your little cookie cutter, you could lay it out 00:26:23.65\00:26:26.41 there, I like little biscuits. Not biscuits but you know what 00:26:26.45\00:26:31.12 I'm talkin about. If you wanna make a candy bar you can do so 00:26:31.15\00:26:35.42 I'll show you how to do a candy bar. 00:26:35.46\00:26:37.09 Just make it long and you have a candy bar! 00:26:37.13\00:26:40.10 Don't expect these to rise or anything of that nature 00:26:40.13\00:26:43.90 Here's my little candy bar 00:26:43.93\00:26:45.77 because we didn't put other items in it. But these don't 00:26:47.60\00:26:50.44 need to rise, they're fantastic. So I have a little drop there 00:26:50.47\00:26:53.88 Here's another one. If you wanna make it round you just 00:26:53.91\00:26:58.91 take a top of something and you make it round 00:26:58.95\00:27:03.35 And so, all of this is so good. In fact one lady says, I can't 00:27:03.39\00:27:07.46 wait for these to bake because.. We're gonna go ahead and we're 00:27:07.49\00:27:10.66 gonna stick this in the oven at about 350 or something like that 00:27:10.69\00:27:16.36 She said, I couldn't wait till they were finished 00:27:16.40\00:27:18.90 I said, what do you mean? She said before they even got 00:27:18.93\00:27:22.44 got into the oven I ate half of the mix already! 00:27:22.47\00:27:25.07 I said no problem. Most of these items you eat normally that way 00:27:25.11\00:27:29.61 So enjoy yourself. And at the same time what's she doing 00:27:29.64\00:27:33.52 She has a de-stressert. Some thing that we all can enjoy 00:27:33.55\00:27:37.85 Well let me show you a finished product. As you see when I 00:27:37.89\00:27:40.82 was behind the scenes I did one nice little round and simple 00:27:40.86\00:27:46.53 type of cookie there that we all can have and I think 00:27:46.56\00:27:50.27 everybody would enjoy it. Matter of fact if you're 00:27:50.30\00:27:52.87 stressed out, you need something to eat, you want something to 00:27:52.90\00:27:55.00 feel good about, go ahead and have a de-stresser cookie. 00:27:55.04\00:27:58.17 And you will definitely enjoy it 00:27:58.21\00:27:59.97
