had delivered him from prison

and from demonic attacks.

He was unloved,
betrayed and hurt by family.

Hence the pathway, you know,
that led him to go into jail.

I was really touched

because he was seeking
some help from Christianity

'cause he's of Hindu religion.

And I was amazed

that he surrendered
his life to Jesus Christ

and became a baptized member.

And I had a friend

who is still a
good friend of mine

who is Hindu
00:03:48.42\00:03:50.53
and I have been
trying to figure out

how do I get her to
turn to Jesus Christ,

you know, what
strategy, you know,

being led by the Holy Spirit.

And I was really touched

by the testimony
that was shared that day,

and as you can recall I did,
you know, after the Sabbath,

after church I
came to you and I asked

and enquired
about your ministry.

And that same day you said that

you were going to
all night prayer meeting

at a local
Seventh-day Adventist church.

And keep in mind,
if you recall again

that day was my birthday,

and I had plans to
celebrate after the Sabbath,

but I was
impressed by the Holy Spirit

to join you at the all-nighter.

And in the latter
part of that all-nighter,

I saw something that
I've never seen before

in my entire life.

You know, there
was a young lady there

and her mouth was shut sealed,

she couldn't
speak, she couldn't talk,

she couldn't
verbalize anything at all.
00:04:47.05\00:04:49.68
And I remember you praying,
you a few elders and pastors,

you know, took her
00:04:54.29\00:04:55.62
and you guys
were praying for her
00:04:55.66\00:04:57.76
and she couldn't verbalize,
00:04:57.79\00:04:59.16
so you gave her a pen to
write what she was experiencing

and immediately, you know,
00:05:03.33\00:05:05.83
the devil shut
her hands, sealed.
00:05:05.87\00:05:08.17
She couldn't open her
hand and then you took the pen
00:05:08.20\00:05:10.37
and you push it
through her hand like this.

And she said my
tongue is sealed to my mouth
00:05:12.94\00:05:17.05
and then immediately you said,
00:05:17.08\00:05:18.58
Satan, in the
name of Jesus Christ

loose her tongue

and she could speak
that instant moment.

And tears have
flowed from her eyes

because for the
first time in a long time

she could say, "Thank you Jesus.

Thank you Lord."

And ever since that moment,

I really appreciate the fact

that this ministry understands
the scripture that says,

"We wrestle not
against flesh and blood

but against principalities."

And that moment

I chose to become a
part of the ministry.

And over the past few years
I've been on many missions.

I've been to
the jail many times,

look for young men

who were, you
know, who were hurt,

who got into the wrong company

because of
brokenness in the home.

And through praying with
them, fellowshipping with them

sharing the message,

present truth message with them.

They've come to surrender
their life to Jesus Christ

and share their testimony

and bring
others to Jesus Christ.

And I've been really touched

and, you know, really impressed

and I'm happy to be
a servant of the Lord

young man locked away in a jail

called Milton jail.

that no one will
ever drive so far

and you go and visit
that young man many times

and brought hope to his life.

through some situation

family and we needed help.

directed us to the ministry.

a form of godliness

power thereof, that was me.

Corinthians it says, "Wake up."

And finally, it clicked
in, it clicked in as in.

your eyes have been open

directed me to Christ.

I doing all this time?

What really was I doing?

What was I doing as a Christian,

as a man of God I was sleeping.

You know, and the Lords says,
"Awake, awake from you sleep."

now prayer in the home

is our number one,

like there is no other
thing, it's just prayer.

It's all about praying
and fasting and seeking God,

situations arise, we pray.

So the ministry
point me to Christ

the warfare that
we fight is not carnal

but it's a spiritual warfare.

And so the ministry

For example a
situation happened at my home

at one point where
one of my daughters,

she was just
coughing uncontrollable

and we had a cough medicine
and I have the anointed oil.

I mean, anointed from learning

and going around
through the ministry

what I see is the
anointed breaks every plan,
00:09:13.05\00:09:15.95
every chain, every
yoke, every bondage

and I'm like, Lord, okay,
I'm going to step out in faith.

I mean, this is a
man who was sleeping

and now this situation arises

where now I have
to step out in faith.

So I have the cough syrup

and I have the
anointed oil in one hand.

What do I do?

I know for sure, if I
give her the cough syrup,

it's supposed to do

The anointing oil now it's like,

okay, it's my faith,
it's like I got to pray

what's going to happen?

the faith comes in.

So by being around in
ministry, it impacted my life

And it just, the thing
that I love about this ministry

It doesn't stop

actually it's practical.

At one point both my brothers
are sharing the same jail cell.

Imagine both my brothers,

my younger brother
and, you know, older brother

sharing the same jail cell.

And what I want to encourage,

what I want to
encourage the viewers

or people watching
is that stay strong.

Where the battle is
won is on your knees.

Stay in the word,

And that's what I
used to encourage my mom.

I prayed with her, we

the burden is lifted.

you feel like heaviness like,

I don't know what to do.

and you fast and you seek God,

you know that reassurance.

You know, sometime as a
child you're growing up,

step, but you're just so timid

along and said to you,

And that reassurance

the Holy Spirit does

Verbally,
convicted on some levels

and maybe converted.

But God places us in a situation

when He's calling
us for specific reason.

Hear me what I mean.

My wife and I, we
lived a very good life.

We were blessed with
two amazing daughters.

Our life was too good.

I would say, I didn't need
to pray that type of a prayer.

So we would do the
routine as a Christian.

We would get up,
we would have worship

and we pray,
and we just do that.

But that was
selfish prayer. Okay.

Until the enemy decided

that he's going to
rock the boat a little bit.

So, you know, our
life all of a sudden

became chaotic.

What do we do?

I remember a friend
sharing a phone number,

it was a phone
number to contact you.

And we held on to
that number for a bit,

but we were supposed
to call you just to say,

we need the prayer for
a particular situation.

It wasn't like that drama

until the enemy
say or I would say

God said, "I want to move My son

a little bit closer to me."

So what do we do?

We have your number
and we didn't call it

until we say
"Okay, this is a bit much.

I think we need some help."

And I'm talking about
spiritual warfare in the home.

So my wife made
that leap of faith,

she called you and I
think it was late one night.

She got in contact with you

because again you
are kind of difficult guy

to get in contact with.

And you said to her,

we're having a prayer
session at 2 am in the morning,

we would pray for you then.

Are you going to be up?

And my wife saying
"Yeah, I'm going to be up,

we need help, you know."

It's kind of a thing
that we needed that help.

I started to laugh to myself,

but you are funny," you know.

reading the Book of Mark,

I think that same evening

I read all those
chapters of the Book of Mark.

And I knelt down
and I prayed and I wept.

Reason being is
that for all this time,

God took me down
this path to show me,

now show me what
the ministry was about.
