time ago, very fast,

Her mother also 90
have always enjoyed

good health but her
dad got very, very ill,

very, very ill and has spent

last 7 days in hospital.

We didn't know
and still don't know

what the outcome will be.

Our prayer was
that after 90 years

of sort of
running from the Lord,

we wanted him to give
his heart to the Lord,

that was our burden whether

life was spared or not,

we wanted to

give his heart to
Lord and that was the

burden of our prayers Pastor,

we just that's what we wanted.

I remember a
similar circumstance

in my own dad's
life, running from the

Lord for 70
plus years in his 80s

and still fighting the Lord,

and our prayer was
whether he lives or dies Lord

just take him and of
course just before he
00:03:13.39\00:03:15.47
passed he gave
his heart to Lord.

Well that was our
prayer for Irma's dad.
00:03:17.10\00:03:19.10
And so today I was on
the set actually taping

another show and
got called out of

the studio which
scared me because

as a rule they don't stop

you in the
middle of a broadcast.

But Irma had called
and needed to talk to me

from Panama, and
so I went out with

trepidation in my heart thinking

if it's so important
for her to pull me out of

the studio then the
word cannot be good.

I pick up to see, if I

can hear her
crying and I can hear this

tumble of noise
in the background.

The crying was
really rejoicing Pastor,

because her dad had
given his heart to the Lord.

He had confessed to
sins, apologized to all of

his children for
some of the wrong

that he had done
over the years and in

his 90th year he has surrendered

his life to Jesus,

and Irma is actually
in the hospital spending

the night with him tonight,

each child takes
a night with him.

But he has given
his heart to the Lord

and last I heard
they were singing

the songs of Zion together.

And so there is
great rejoicing in my

wife's family
because her dad has

surrendered to the Lord and

has confessed his
sins, so we're quite happy.
