think all of you are very

in Haiti. We do not know

the complete
level of devastation

but there have
been many hundreds and

thousands of
people who have died.

They say that it
could rise as high as a

hundred thousand.
Okay. And we've even heard

figures of perhaps beyond that.

We don't know
exactly how many people

are dead. In
addition to the dead there are

so many casualties
those who are injured

and they require a great
deal of medical attention.

Very difficult to get
that attention into Haiti

had received calls that

they had lost family
members living in Haiti.

this is so tremendous.
