I mean, He was the king of glory, 23:14 why did he come to live like one of us in this 23:17 sin sick world. You know, it is because 23:21 he loved us and he knew that he was the only 23:24 one that could ever save us from our sins. 23:28 Well soon after Jesus was born 23:29 He was brought to the temple to be dedicated 23:31 just like any Jewish baby, and there was a man 23:34 at the temple by the name of Simeon and 23:36 he was very old, and he had been praying 23:38 all his life that he might see the Messiah before 23:41 he died, and it had been revealed to him by 23:45 the Holy Spirit that he will see the Messiah. 23:48 Well one day he was walking through the temple, 23:50 and he saw a baby boy, and he knew that 23:53 this wasn't just any baby boy; he knew that this 23:56 was the Messiah. You see, Simeon knew the reason 24:01 why Jesus had come to earth, 24:03 he had come to save sinners like himself, 24:05 and we just like Simeon are in need of a savior, 24:10 but there's a problem. We have been disconnected 24:13 from God and the only way we can be reconnected 24:16 is by accepting Christ as our personal savior, 24:20 and by accepting that sacrifice that he made 24:23 on the cross. It is our prayer that through 24:27 this music, we and you together might see Jesus 24:31 in the clear light, but not just to see Jesus 24:34 in clear light, but to accept Him as our personal 24:37 savior, may our prayer be, oh come 24:40 let us adore him, Christ the Lord. 25:49 When blossoms flower e'er 'mid the snow, 25:53 Upon a winter night, Was born the Child, 25:58 the Christmas Rose, The King of Love and Light. 26:04 The angels sang, the shepherds sang, 26:08 The grateful earth rejoiced; 26:14 And at His blessed birth the stars 26:17 Their exultation voiced. 26:24 O come let us adore Him O come let us adore Him 26:39 O come let us adore Him Christ the Lord. 26:58 Again the heart with rapture glows 27:01 To greet the holy night, 27:06 That gave the world its Christmas Rose, 27:09 Its King of Love and Light 27:13 Let every voice acclaim His name, 27:17 The grateful chorus swell 27:22 From paradise to earth He came 27:26 That we with Him might dwell. 27:33 O come let us adore Him O come let us adore Him 27:48 O come let us adore Him Christ the Lord. 28:01 O come let us adore Him O come let us adore Him 28:15 O come let us adore Him Christ the Lord. 28:38 News! News! Jesus Christ is born today! 28:45 Ox and ass before Him bow And He is in the manger now 28:51 Christ is born today! Christ is born today! 28:57 Good Christian men, rejoice 29:01 With heart and soul and voice 29:04 Now ye hear of endless bliss Joy! Joy! 29:10 Jesus Christ was born for this 29:13 He hath ope'd the heav'nly door 29:16 And man is blessed evermore 29:20 Christ was born for this Christ was born for this. 29:29 O come let us adore Him O come let us adore Him 29:41 O come let us adore Him Christ the Lord. 30:23 In the little village of Bethlehem, 30:28 There lay a Child one day; 30:35 And the sky was bright with a holy light 30:40 O'er the place where Jesus lay. 30:45 Alleluia! O how the angels sang. 30:51 Alleluia! How it rang! 30:57 And the sky was bright with a holy light 31:04 'Twas the birthday of a King. 31:22 'Twas a humble birthplace, but O how much 31:27 God gave to us that day, 31:33 From the manger bed what a path has led, 31:38 What a perfect, holy way. 31:44 Alleluia! O how the angels sang. 31:49 Alleluia! How it rang! 31:55 And the sky was bright with a holy light 32:02 'Twas the birthday of a King. 32:08 Alleluia! O how the angels sang. 32:14 Alleluia! How it rang! 32:21 And the sky was bright with a holy light 32:26 'Twas the birthday of a savior Alleluia! 32:32 How it rang! 'Twas the birthday of a King! 33:01 Infinite Lord, my Infant King, 33:12 Throned in humility; 33:20 YOUR ONLY ROBES YOUR SWADDLING CLOTHES; 33:28 Crying a fulfilled decree; 33:36 YOUR GRAND DOMAIN, YOUR CROWN AND TRAIN- 33:47 DARKNESS AND DUST AND SHEEP. 33:55 Jesus, now I kneel and pray, 34:04 STABLED IN DEEPEST NEED; 34:12 My only robe is your righteousness; 34:20 Mercy is my only plea; My light Your Word; 34:31 My song is of thank. My hope and prayer is to have no grief. 34:47 Infinite Lord, You are my King. I give my heart to You. 35:19 And they were shepherds living out in the 35:21 fields nearby, keeping watch over their 35:24 flocks by night. And the angel of the Lord 35:27 appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord 35:29 shone around them, and they were terrified, 35:32 and the angel said unto them, 35:35 "Do not be afraid for I bring you good news 35:37 of great joy that is for all the people, 35:41 for Today in the town of David a Savior 35:45 has been born unto you; he is Christ the Lord. 35:54 I saw today, there was an angel about to go up 36:00 the happy house, praising God and saying. 36:08 Glory to God, glory to God in the highest 36:18 there peace on His Earth Goodwill towards men 36:30 Goodwill towards men, towards men Goodwill, 36:34 Goodwill, Goodwill Goodwill, Goodwill, 36:41 Goodwill, towards men the men. 37:01 There's a star in the East on Christmas morn, 37:07 Rise up, shepherd, and follow. 37:10 It will lead to the place where the savior's born, 37:15 Rise up, shepherd, and follow. 37:20 Follow, follow, rise up, shepherd, and follow. 37:30 Follow the Star of Bethlehem, 37:34 Rise up, shepherd, and follow. 37:42 If you take good heed to the angel's words, 37:47 Rise up, shepherd, and follow. 37:52 You'll forget your flocks, you'll forget your herds, 37:58 Rise up, shepherd, and follow. 38:03 Follow, follow, rise up, shepherd, and follow. 38:13 Follow the Star of Bethlehem, 38:18 Rise up, shepherd, and follow. 38:24 Follow, follow, rise up, shepherd, and follow. 38:34 Follow the Star of Bethlehem, 38:39 Rise up, shepherd, and follow 38:45 rise up shepherd and follow. 39:23 Come to Bethlehem and see 39:26 Christ Whose birth the angels sing; 39:30 Come, adore on bended knee, 39:34 Christ the Lord, the newborn King. 39:38 Gloria in Excelsis Deo! Gloria in Excelsis Deo! 40:05 Hail the heav'n-born Prince of Peace! 40:08 Hail the Son of Righteousness! 40:13 Light and life to all He brings 40:16 Ris'n with healing in His wings. 40:21 Line of assembly of angels sing 40:25 "Glory to the newborn King! Peace on earth 40:31 and mercy mild God and sinners reconciled" 40:37 Hark! The herald angels sing 40:42 "Glory to the newborn King!" 40:48 Gloria in Excelsis Deo! 41:03 "Glory to the newborn King!" 41:32 Heaven's arches rang When the angels sang 41:41 Proclaiming Thy royal degree; But of lowly birth 41:51 Cam'st Thou, Lord, on earth, And in great humility; 42:03 O come to my heart Lord Jesus; 42:11 There is room in my heart for thee! 42:18 There is room in my heart for thee! 42:45 Christ came from His glory in heaven. 42:49 He came for be the king of the Universe, 42:50 to being born in manger. He came from His Throne 42:55 in heaven to putting on the humble garb 42:57 of humanity, but why? I'll tell you why, 43:04 is because He loves you, Christ loves you 43:07 so much that He came from His glory in heaven 43:12 and He was born in that manger, 43:14 and He lived a perfect life and died an 43:18 innocent death, because He loves you. 43:22 In Luke chapter 2 and verse 7 it reads, 43:25 as she brought forth her firstborn son, 43:29 and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, 43:31 and laid Him in a manger; because there was 43:33 no room for them in the Inn. 43:37 There was not only no room for Christ in the Inn, 43:43 there was not only no vacancy, 43:46 but it's because they did not make room 43:48 for their King, they did not make room for Jesus 43:51 in their hearts. Turning around in verse 8, 43:57 now there were in the same country Shepherds, 44:00 living out in the fields, keeping watch over their 44:03 flocks by night. It was these shepherds, 44:07 these were the people that were ready. 44:09 The ones that were waiting and wanting this 44:12 savior to come. They were the ones that 44:15 were ready because they had made room 44:19 for Christ in their heart, they were ready, 44:23 but when you think about the priests, 44:25 the Scribes and the Pharisees, 44:27 all these Godly figures of the nation, 44:31 why were they not there at Bethlehem, 44:34 worshiping and welcoming this Savior, 44:37 why were they not there? Well, it's because 44:43 they did not make room for Him in their hearts, 44:47 yes they were serving God in the Temple, 44:50 but they were not serving God from the heart, 44:54 they were serving in a way of show, 44:57 and self glorification, they weren't serving God 45:00 from the heart. I have a question for you, 45:06 if Christ were to come again today as a baby 45:11 where would you be? Would you be like the 45:14 priests or the scribes and Pharisees just focusing 45:18 on what they're doing, making sure they 45:20 look alright, not really serving God from the heart. 45:25 Or would you be like the Shepherds, 45:28 awaiting the coming of the Savior, 45:30 wanting and longing Him to come and save them 45:33 from their sin. Where would you be, 45:38 if Christ were to come again? 45:40 Well Christ is coming very, very soon, 45:44 not as a baby, but as the Lord and King 45:48 of the Universe again and He's coming 45:50 to take us home. Where are you gonna be 45:53 on that day? Are you gonna be in that choir 45:57 standing there singing halleluiah, 46:01 the King of Kings and Lord of Lords reigns in my heart, 46:07 because I made room for him, 46:09 where will you be on that day. 46:20 Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah 46:25 Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah 46:32 Hallelujah Hallelujah, 46:35 For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. 46:41 Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah 46:44 Hallelujah, For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. 46:50 Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah 46:54 Hallelujah, For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. 46:59 Hallelujah Hallelujah, 47:01 For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. 47:06 Hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah 47:10 hallelujah For the Lord God 47:14 omnipotent reigneth. Hallelujah. 47:18 The kingdom of this world 47:25 Is become the kingdom of our Lord, 47:31 And of His Christ, and of His Christ; 47:36 And He shall reign for ever and ever, 47:41 For ever and ever, forever and ever. 47:45 And He shall reign for ever and ever; 47:55 King of Kings, Forever and ever, 47:59 Hallelujah Hallelujah, And Lord of Lords, 48:05 Forever and ever, Hallelujah Hallelujah, 48:08 King of Kings, Forever and ever, 48:12 Hallelujah Hallelujah, And Lord of Lords, 48:17 Forever and ever, Hallelujah Hallelujah, 48:20 King of Kings, Forever and ever, 48:24 Hallelujah Hallelujah, And Lord of Lords. 48:28 King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, 48:33 And He shall reign, And He shall reign, 48:36 And He shall reign. And He shall reign 48:39 forever and ever. King of Kings 48:43 forever and ever and Lord of Lords, 48:47 Hallelujah Hallelujah And He shall reign 48:51 forever and ever. King of Kings, 48:57 and Lord of Lords. King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. 49:04 And He shall reign forever and ever. 49:07 Forever and ever, Hallelujah Hallelujah, 49:13 Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah. 49:51 In the first light of a new day 49:56 No one knew He had arrived 50:00 Things continued as they had been 50:04 While a new born softly cried. 50:08 But the heavens wrapped in wonder 50:12 Knew the meaning of His birth 50:17 In the weakness of a baby 50:21 They knew God had come to earth. 50:36 As His mother held him closely, 50:41 It was hard to understand 50:46 That her baby not yet speaking 50:51 Was the Word of God to man. 50:57 He would tell them of His kingdom, 51:02 But their hearts would not believe 51:07 They would hate Him and in anger 51:12 They would nail Him to a tree. 51:22 But the sadness would be broken 51:27 As the song of life arose 51:31 And the First born of creation 51:36 Would ascend and take his throne. 51:40 He has left it to redeem us, 51:45 But before His life began 51:49 He knew He'd come back not as a baby 51:54 But as The Lord of ev'ry man. 51:59 Hear the angels as they're singing 52:03 On the morning of His birth 52:07 But how much greater will our song be 52:12 When He comes again to Earth 52:17 Hear the angels as they're singing 52:21 On the morning of His birth 52:25 But how much greater will our song be 52:30 When He comes again to Earth 52:37 When He comes to rule the Earth! 52:41 Hallelujah, hallelujah, amen. 53:03 In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan, 53:17 Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone; 53:30 Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow, 53:43 In the bleak midwinter, long time ago. 53:57 Angels and archangels may have gathered there, 54:10 Cherubim and Seraphim thronged the air; 54:22 But His mother only, in her maiden bliss, 54:36 Worshiped the beloved with a kiss 54:52 What can I give Him, poor as I am? 55:06 If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb; 55:19 If I were a Wise Man, I would do my part; 55:33 Yet what I can I give Him: give him my heart. 55:47 Yet what I can I give Him: give him my heart. 56:14 Well isn't that beautiful music? 56:16 Do you know there's something special about 56:18 young man or men singing, they just sound beautiful 56:21 and what could be more beautiful this time 56:24 of year than the location and snow just add so much. 56:28 It really does, and that whole group, the strings, 56:33 the choir, the music that Craig Cleveland gets 56:39 out of that group is just astounding. 56:41 Well, I think you have dedicated kids and young 56:46 people, yeah, and also they enjoy what 56:49 they're doing, they're gifted, they're blessed 56:51 and it really shows. It really does. 56:53 Christian Education is where it is folks, 56:57 Fountainview Academy is a wonderful Christian 56:59 School in Canada, and they have really turned 57:03 out some fantastic graduates. 57:07 Camille and I believe in Christian Education, 57:09 yes we do, our children were all raised 57:12 in Christian School, right, we attended and 57:15 we're graduated from Christian School, 57:17 that's right that's where we met, 57:19 and we've got two, two grandchildren 57:21 now that are in Academy, yes and they're both, 57:25 they're loving it.
