It's great. 01:21 I do too. 01:22 You know, there are some holidays 01:24 that we as Christians can't celebrate or shouldn't 01:27 and holidays like Halloween. 01:30 You didn't say any programs, didn't see this all dressed up 01:33 as witches and goblins and all that things. 01:36 I've been called some of the names 01:37 that people dress up 01:39 but I don't try to do that. 01:40 I don't celebrate it for sure, right? 01:42 But Thanksgiving is one of these holidays 01:45 that we all have something to be thankful for. 01:48 We do and you know, whereas every day, 01:51 we need to count our blessings and look at what God has done 01:55 but then it's also good to look over the whole year 01:58 and see just how God, how far He's brought you. 02:02 Absolutely, well, we have some of our 3ABN family here 02:05 with us today 02:06 and rather than us to do the introductions, 02:10 we'll just let you all, John, we'll start with you and Angie, 02:12 introduce yourself and maybe say what you do at 3ABN 02:16 and around the world? 02:18 Okay. Well, I'm John Lomacang. 02:20 I'm the pastor of the Thompsonville 02:21 Seventh-day Adventist Church. 02:23 I also work on a number of programs, 02:25 director of world evangelism for 3ABN 02:27 and I host House Calls 02:29 and also A Sharper Focus which is on Wednesday night. 02:33 Preach, teach, sing 02:35 and whatever the Lord gives me the opportunity to do, 02:37 I do it for His glory. 02:38 It sounds like we need to give him something else 02:40 to keep him busy. 02:42 Angie, say, no, no, no. No. 02:45 My name is Angela Lomacang. 02:47 I work at 3ABN Radio 02:49 and I edit programs 02:52 and host a program called Crossroads 02:55 which is a wonderful program, a testimony program. 03:00 So I'm privileged and honored to be here. 03:03 Thank you. 03:04 Folks that listen to the radio get to see the voice behind, 03:09 you know, their speakers 03:10 whether it's a car or at home or whatever. 03:12 So that's nice, I'm sure. 03:15 Absolutely. 03:16 My name is Jason Bradley. 03:18 I'm assistant to the general manager 03:19 of 3ABN's Dare to Dream Network 03:21 and as everybody knows, we all wear multiple hats. 03:24 So sometimes, it's office work, 03:26 sometimes it's being in front of the camera, 03:28 sometimes it's producing programs, 03:30 sometimes it's meeting viewers 03:32 and promoting the network at conventions. 03:35 But ultimately, it's just serving the Lord. 03:37 And one of your newer, Jay, it seems is prison ministry. 03:42 So little recently, we were in the Bahamas 03:44 and you went to the prison and was in charge. 03:47 Yes. 03:49 It was absolutely a wonderful experience out there as well. 03:54 Not a whole bunch of people showed up but we're, 03:57 you know, Jesus would have died for just one. 03:59 That's right. 04:00 Yes. That's right. 04:02 Great. 04:03 And I'm Mollie Steenson, 04:05 and I've been at 3ABN now for over 20, 04:08 well, going on 23 years and during that time, 04:11 I have done some of absolutely everything. 04:14 I've worked in the call center. 04:16 I've run camera 04:17 and, but I think my main responsibility at 3ABN 04:22 has always been to hold Danny Shelton's arms up 04:24 and that, that's what I do at 3ABN. 04:26 Thank you. I needed it for sure. 04:30 I'm Tammy Chance 04:31 and I am one of the donation managers. 04:34 Donation meaning, 04:36 people give us gifts sometimes to help the ministry. 04:39 Other than cash or sometimes cash, 04:41 but it can be almost anything. 04:42 Coins and all kinds of things, yeah, 04:44 and so we turn that into money for the ministry, 04:47 and sometimes I sing 04:48 and just whatever need be, I try to be around. 04:54 You speaking of around, 04:55 you've been around a long time at 3ABN. 04:58 So well, life in general, I won't get into that but, 05:00 but been around 3ABN for almost 05:05 I guess since the beginning, close to the beginning. 05:07 Yeah, I was here the first few years 05:09 and then I raised my children and came back 15 years ago. 05:13 Okay. All right. 05:17 My name is Bruce Chance 05:18 and I'm the other manager with the donation center 05:21 and I just do what Tammy tells me to do. 05:25 That's smart. 05:27 I find I'm okay, if I just do that. 05:29 That's very smart. 05:31 Okay. Let's go up to Jay. 05:35 I'm Jay Christian, general manager of 3ABN Radio. 05:38 Angela and I work together. 05:41 Okay. 05:42 Danny, I've been here over 18 years. 05:44 Eighteen, wow. Eighteen years. 05:45 That is amazing. 05:47 Yes, it is. 05:48 In that time, we've seen 3ABN Radio grow a lot 05:51 and praise God for that. 05:53 We started with absolutely no affiliates 05:56 and almost no listeners. 05:57 A few people maybe knew 05:58 that we were out there on satellite 06:00 but not that many and now we have... 06:02 Oh, I hate to give a number. 06:04 The last number I heard was several hundred affiliates 06:09 around the world. 06:11 And we have a lots of internet listeners. 06:14 We have a new channel now. 06:15 It's been over a year 06:17 but the music channel is all music 24/7 06:21 and we have the regular, 06:22 the religious programming as well. 06:26 I have a music program, musical meditations, 06:30 and I'm one of probably everybody at 3ABN 06:33 that wear as many hats 06:35 because it's a lot of work to do. 06:36 Even though I have the title general manager, 06:38 I actually manage just a little bit. 06:40 We have a wonderful staff. 06:42 The staff is just very self-motivated. 06:44 They know what they are supposed to do 06:46 and they do it 06:47 and we all have the crunch work that we have to do. 06:50 Anywhere from scheduling to production, 06:52 to writing to doing different things like that. 06:56 And it's just been wonderful. 06:57 We praise God. 06:59 We get emails from people. 07:00 We get phone calls. 07:02 We get all sorts of things. 07:03 Letting people know they're driving down the road, 07:05 searching for a radio station 07:08 and they hit one of our affiliates somewhere 07:10 and they are saying something 07:12 that they needed to know right then 07:14 and they keep listening. 07:16 And we have people in our church 07:17 here at Thompsonville 07:18 that ended up coming to our church 07:21 by listening to the radio station that we have here. 07:23 We'll get into some of that later. 07:24 Great. Yeah, yeah. 07:26 All right. So praise God. 07:27 Who you have sitting next to you. 07:29 I'm Svetlana Christian. 07:30 I'm 3ABN photographer 07:32 and some do design and that's all. 07:43 Yeah, my name is Greg Morikone and I oversee production. 07:46 I work with a great team in production, 07:48 so my title is production manager. 07:50 But I have a wonderful team to work with 07:52 and it's a privilege, 07:53 Jill and I have been a part of the ministry of 3ABN. 07:56 He left out that he's also a vice-president. 07:59 I noticed that. I noticed that. 08:00 Well, yeah, we all do many things here at 3ABN. 08:04 The key is that we are a team 08:06 and the team is moving forward in a great direction 08:10 and so it's really fun. 08:11 It's been a blessing to be a part of this ministry. 08:13 All right. 08:15 My name is Jill Morikone 08:16 and I think the best job title I could have 08:19 is being Greg's wife. 08:21 I'm so blessed by my husband 08:24 and so praise the Lord for that. 08:26 We've been married 15 years. 08:27 I've been at the ministry here 15 years 08:30 and such a blessing. 08:31 My title would be, I guess administrative assistant 08:34 to Danny, to the president and that is a blessing 08:36 and corporate secretary for the board. 08:39 But it's just a privilege to serve Jesus. 08:41 No matter where He calls you, what you do, 08:43 some of my work is office responsibility. 08:46 Some is camera, in front of the camera. 08:48 Some is praying with people and ministering for Jesus. 08:52 So it's a privilege to be here. 08:55 And I'm Chris Shelton. 08:56 She stole my line, you know that. 09:01 At least I can say it too, 09:02 that's my best job title being married to you. 09:05 Thank you, honey. 09:07 As far as I work here at 3ABN, 09:09 we are just basically volunteers. 09:11 We do whatever you ask us to do. 09:13 So we're always grateful, always blessed by it. 09:16 We have Behold the Lamb ministries 09:18 which actually was one of the first programs on 3ABN 09:23 when you, young men started it many years ago 09:27 and it just, you know, kind of evolved 09:30 into ministry of its own and, 09:32 but we're very thankful and very grateful to be here. 09:35 We wear many hats too. 09:37 I love coming here to record 09:39 because when we recorded Behold the Lamb, 09:42 I'm doing too many things. 09:43 So by the time, I actually get to what I need to record, 09:46 I'm just like okay, what do I say now? 09:48 You know, because my brain 09:50 is in five or six different areas. 09:51 So it's beautiful to come here 09:53 and actually be able to sit and pray 09:55 and just concentrate on what we need to give. 09:57 But we love it and we love being a part of it. 10:00 All right. 10:02 Okay, well I'm Kenny Shelton and I think she stole my line. 10:06 No, we're so pleased to be able to work with 3ABN. 10:09 Seeing the, really the results. 10:12 You know, Bible talks about we're planners 10:14 and you know source and waters and so on. 10:15 But we are able to see God showing us 10:17 the results of this station, 10:19 what's happening as everyone is doing their job 10:22 and I know how they say it so humbly 10:25 that each one is doing many different facets, 10:27 and I think that's part of blessing 10:28 but, you know, when we all work together, 10:30 there will be souls 10:32 that would be won to the kingdom of God, 10:33 and that's basically our desire. 10:37 Not only it's work for Jesus but to one selves for Him. 10:39 So this is an opportunity, it's a golden. 10:41 We appreciate every moment, opportunity we get 10:43 to be able to be with 3ABN personnel. 10:46 We feel like most of the time, 10:47 I don't always say Behold the Lamb, I say 3ABN. 10:49 They ask me. 10:51 It's good, yeah, 10:53 but we appreciate very much 10:55 being able to work closely with 3ABN. 10:57 I appreciate you all being here. 10:59 Yeah, I'm Tim Parton. 11:00 I am general manager of Praise Him, music channel 11:03 and it's a delight for me to be involved 11:06 as more I guess 11:08 probably one of the newer members of the family. 11:10 It is a thrill for me 11:11 to everyday get to work in music, 11:14 and also it's a thrill for me get to know the staff, 11:19 the family here 11:20 and to see that it's not just work, 11:22 it's not just getting business done, 11:25 but it's about growing in the Lord, 11:26 and it's about seeing God active in our lives everyday 11:31 in business and in growing the kingdom. 11:35 So I'm thrilled to be a part of this ministry. 11:38 How about you. 11:40 You didn't introduce yourself and what you do, 11:42 what do you do here at 3ABN? 11:44 Okay, well, I'm Yvonne Lewis 11:46 and I am the general manager of 3ABN's 11:50 Dare to Dream Network 11:53 and I get to co-host with you on the Today program, 11:56 and I sing and just get to do a whole lot of things 12:01 that I love to do. 12:02 It's such a blessing to be here. 12:05 Amen. 12:07 Well, I'm so thankful 12:08 for each and every one of you here 12:10 but we have a lot of people. 12:11 Some are traveling, you know, this time of the year. 12:14 So we've got people out on the road that couldn't come 12:16 or otherwise would have a lot more. 12:18 And we're gonna have some hopefully, 12:20 if they are up to it, 12:23 some special guests 12:24 that will be here in just a little bit. 12:26 But so we could introduce all of our family. 12:29 Jill, Mollie, about how many folk 12:31 do we have just here at center, 12:33 the world headquarters at 3ABN, 12:36 full-time, part-time workers, 100 and... 12:39 I'm gonna say 120. 12:41 We have had more in the past 12:43 but would you know, 12:44 the Lord has graced and blessed us so much 12:46 with employees that do wear multiple hats 12:49 and can do so many things and we just praise Him. 12:52 And I'm quick to tell our employees, 12:55 you are our most valuable asset. 12:57 Got has blessed us with such incredible people 13:00 from next door, 13:03 across this nation and from around the world. 13:06 God has sent us employees. 13:08 And we have some folk who couldn't be here today 13:11 because of logistics. 13:13 Sister Julia Outkina 13:15 and from Russia and the Russian... 13:17 How many of you have been to Russia facility over there? 13:20 Let me see your hands. 13:21 I know that Svet has been there 13:23 because that's where she came from. 13:25 Jay found her on a trip over there 13:27 and brought her back to America. 13:30 And, of course, they're husband and wife 13:32 so Julia and her crew, 13:33 we want to say happy Thanksgiving 13:35 to all of you also. 13:36 Then we have John and Rosemary Malkovich 13:38 down in Australia with 3ABN Australia. 13:41 Down under. Down under. 13:43 And of course places like the Philippines, 13:45 with ambassador being Tejano 13:48 that who is in charge of the network now over there. 13:51 And so we have people from around the world 13:56 that are working with 3ABN 13:57 so that we can take this gospel of the kingdom 13:59 into all the world. 14:01 Then we have Brenda Walsh who couldn't be here. 14:03 Brenda Walsh, she can't be here because she's everywhere. 14:07 I don't know anybody 14:08 that travels more than Brenda Walsh. 14:10 I know, I know. 14:12 She's the time management queen. 14:14 Everywhere we go, 14:15 they'll say, oh Brenda Walsh was here recently. 14:18 She always beats us there 14:19 wherever we go with the invitations 14:21 and but a work that she does, 14:24 you know for the cause of God. 14:26 And again, there is a lot of folk here that's not here 14:28 but we want to enjoy this time with you and share with you. 14:32 There may be some of you who are by yourselves right now 14:35 on a day like this and you feel lonely. 14:38 You feel like, you know, it's just me. 14:40 No it's not. Somebody needs to testify. 18:14 Kenny, at back, I'm looking at you. 18:16 Give me a testimony right now. 18:18 We thank about this season 18:21 and it was mentioned while ago, count your blessings. 18:24 I think the song you lead, count your blessings, 18:26 name them one by one, 18:28 and lately, I've been thinking about those blessings. 18:31 It's not just today, it's not yesterday, 18:34 but it's all year long 18:36 and every day, I try to count my blessings 18:39 and say thank you Lord for being so good, 18:41 and so kind, and so gracious for someone like me. 18:45 You know, we can all put our self in that, 18:46 those who are at home, 18:47 those who are watching and listening 18:49 is God is so good to each and every one of us. 18:52 Every day of our life, the air that we breath, 18:55 you know, the house we live, everything belongs to Him. 18:58 And He gives all those as a gift 19:00 and sometimes we forget to say thank You God. 19:03 Thank You for what You've done. 19:05 Thank You for every breath that I take. 19:07 It is a gift from God and I'm thankful for grace. 19:10 I mean, thank God for grace and for salvation. 19:12 It is so full and it is so free. 19:16 I look forward to that day 19:17 when Jesus shall come with all these test and trials 19:21 and these things that our loved ones 19:23 are going through, you know. 19:25 It's going to be over with. It's going to be in the past. 19:28 We won't have to think about it anymore. 19:30 And everything is gonna become new and refresh, 19:32 and I praise God for that, 19:34 and so I'm looking forward to that day. 19:36 And I know each one here, 19:37 for those who are going through things today 19:39 in your life at home, 19:41 you know, I encourage you to lift up your head, 19:43 your redemption draweth nigh. 19:45 The signs of the time tell us that Jesus is coming, 19:48 and I can't thank of a more wonderful time 19:51 here at Thanksgiving 19:53 and like say real true holiday. 19:54 Thanksgiving, we can just lift our hearts to God 19:57 and say thank You. 19:59 I know, probably everyone here whatever you've been through, 20:02 I'm learning, I'm learning to lean on Him more. 20:06 I'm learning to realize that every breath I take 20:09 belongs to Him. 20:10 So let's give Him praise, give Him honor 20:13 and give Him glory 20:14 and just, and let those things that so easily beset us, 20:17 maybe yesterday, the day before, 20:19 or maybe the heartache 20:20 that some of you have been through, 20:22 lay it aside right now. 20:23 Let's take this time 20:25 to be in the presence of the Almighty God. 20:27 Let's just see what God can do for each and every one of us. 20:31 And then we'll be singing one of these days 20:32 as my sister was and each one of you, 20:34 one of those day... 20:36 I've been looking forward to, maybe you don't know, 20:38 Danny playing the piano some day. 20:40 All right. Yeah. 20:41 So I want to thank him in advance, people like Tim. 20:43 Tim would you move over and let him. 20:44 I'm glad to. 20:46 Oh, you said some day. 20:49 That might be a mistake at this point in time. 20:51 But you know, just praying, 20:53 what a blessing that is to have the musical abilities 20:56 and things that God gives. 20:57 So when I hear each one sing and play instruments 21:00 and preach the word and teach the word, 21:02 I think, man what a blessing and it all belongs to Him. 21:08 You know, all the results, all the good things 21:10 that happen belong to Him. 21:11 So a lot of times people ask me, 21:13 what do you do, what do you... 21:14 I show up. 21:16 I simply show up and God does the work. 21:18 He does the convicting. That's a big thing. 21:21 That's a big thing. 21:22 So I want to praise Him for that opportunity 21:24 that He gives me 21:25 each and every day to lift my voice 21:27 to say thank You Lord for saving my soul. 21:30 So it's a good Thanksgiving and I praise Him for that. 21:34 Sometimes you spend maybe a few extra moments 21:38 with family, and friends, and different ones, 21:41 and maybe some who don't realize 21:43 about being grateful and thankful. 21:44 Maybe we can be a reminder to them. 21:46 Maybe we can be that blessing to them 21:48 so rather than to be blessed, 21:49 I want to be a blessing this Thanksgiving day. 21:52 And part of that blessing 21:53 is being here with each one of you 21:55 and being a part of 3ABN. 21:56 We appreciate, thank you. 21:58 Tim, has God been good to you? 21:59 He has been extremely good to me. 22:01 We'll put you on the spot. 22:02 Why don't you tell us about it in the song? 22:04 Okay. 22:14 Lately I've been looking back, along this winding road 22:20 To the old familiar markers of all the mercies I have known 22:28 I know it may sound simple but it's more than a cliche 22:34 For there's no better way to tell you 22:39 Than to say 22:43 God's been good in my life 22:51 And I feel blessed beyond my wildest dreams 22:56 When I go to sleep each night 22:59 And though I've had my share of hard times 23:03 I wouldn't change them if I could 23:08 For through it all 23:11 God's been good 23:20 The times replay and I can see 23:24 That I've cried some bitter tears 23:28 But I felt His arms around me 23:31 As I faced my greatest fears 23:35 You see I've had more gains than losses 23:39 And I've known more joy than hurt 23:43 As His grace rolled down upon me 23:48 So undeserved 23:51 For God's been good in my life 23:58 And I feel blessed beyond my wildest dreams 24:02 When I go to sleep each night 24:06 And though I've had my share of hard times 24:10 I wouldn't change them if I could 24:14 For through it all 24:18 God's been so good 24:22 For you see God has been my Father 24:26 My Savior and my Friend 24:29 His love was my beginning 24:32 And His love will be my end 24:36 Now, I could spend forever 24:39 Trying to tell you everything 24:43 He is 24:48 But the best way that I can say it 24:53 Is simply this 25:00 God's been so good 25:06 In my life 25:09 And I feel so blessed beyond my wildest dreams 25:15 When I go to sleep each night 25:19 And though I've had my share of hard times 25:24 I might even change them if I could 25:28 But through it all 25:32 Every step of the way 25:34 Through it all 25:37 God's been good 25:43 And if you know this song, sing with me. 25:45 God is so good 25:52 God is so good 25:58 God is so good 26:03 He's so good to me 26:09 Sing it one more time. 26:10 God, you're so good 26:12 God is so good 26:16 So good to me 26:18 Oh, God is so good everyday 26:25 God is so good 26:31 He's so good 26:35 To me 26:41 Now all the people say, amen. 26:43 Speaking of God being so good, I think we have some special, 26:48 a special surprise with special family members 26:52 that we haven't seen here in a while 26:54 and they are gonna tell you that God's been good. 26:59 Johnny and Idalia Dinzey, we're so glad that you're here. 27:04 And you guys just heard Tim was talking about, 27:08 singing about God's been good. 27:11 But you were in, both of you 27:13 in a terrible automobile accident 27:18 not too long ago. 27:19 Probably seems forever to you. 27:21 But time wise, about when was it, 27:24 Johnny, do you remember it at what date? 27:26 This was October 15th. 27:27 Okay. 27:29 We were in Cadillac, Michigan 27:31 and the 10th anniversary of Strong Tower Radio, 27:34 3ABN affiliate 27:36 and they also have TV, 27:37 broadcasting 3ABN most of the time. 27:40 Okay. 27:41 So you're through with the meetings. 27:44 You're traveling from there, going where? 27:49 We're through with the meetings 27:51 and so we were gonna drive home 27:55 when about two miles later 28:00 a terrible, terrible thing happened 28:02 and Idalia can share how it happened. 28:04 Yeah, we don't have to get in all the detail 28:06 of who did what but you ended up 28:08 and we call it a wreck down here in Southern Illinois, 28:11 you had wreck, right? 28:13 Yes. Accident. 28:14 It was an accident. 28:15 It was a wreck 28:17 and when I slammed on the brakes, 28:18 it had been raining, so we skid, 28:22 you know, we crossed and the Lord said, 28:25 turn right, I said turn right, 28:28 you know, you have a split second, 28:30 you know, when the Lord prompts you to do something 28:33 so important to follow and I turned 28:37 and I know that the Lord turned right for me and the angels 28:40 because as I turned right, 28:42 we were impacted by the other vehicle 28:47 and we ended up somewhere in the ditch, 28:52 somewhere and the other vehicle 28:54 in the cornfield too, 28:56 and I just couldn't breathe. 29:00 And all of a sudden, 29:02 there was a face that took the air bag out of the window 29:08 and she says, I am a nurse. 29:09 My name is so and so, 29:11 and I am here to take your vitals. 29:13 I want to see how you're doing. 29:16 And all of a sudden, 29:18 there were ten people around the vehicle with us. 29:22 I said, "Where did you come from? 29:24 Where did you come from?" 29:26 "We live in this area. 29:28 We heard the accident 29:29 and we ran over to see if we could help you." 29:32 Amen. 29:33 And I know those were angels that the Lord sent 29:38 to attend to our needs 29:40 and, Johnny, he was saying, 29:43 he could not feel his legs. 29:48 He repeated that. 29:53 And I said drive her 29:56 and you hear your husband of 23 faithful years 30:01 saying that, I said, Lord, 30:05 my world kind of went into shock 30:07 in my memory, in my mind, 30:09 and I said, Lord, help me not lose control. 30:12 Help me that my thoughts may be focused on you. 30:16 What do I do, 30:17 Lord, I just wanted to scream, you know, in desperation. 30:21 But the Lord says, turn your eyes upon Jesus. 30:24 All right. Yes. 30:26 I focused, I know that the movies 30:30 that we watch about Jesus' life, 30:33 I know, it's just a symbol, you know. 30:35 So we can relay the story. 30:38 But I focused his eyes 30:43 and the message that I received was remember 30:46 when He was on the cross, He did not make a sound. 30:50 He turned His thoughts and His voice 30:52 to His Father and I said, 30:55 Lord, help me do that. 30:57 I want to do that. 30:58 And the only thing I could whisper is 31:01 Jesus, Jesus, 31:05 Jesus continually. 31:09 I don't know 31:10 what anyone is going through at this time 31:12 but when you whisper the sweet, powerful, 31:16 all mighty name of Jesus, 31:19 His peace that passeth 31:21 all understanding will come to your heart. 31:24 But you had major injuries. 31:27 Tell us what some of these were? 31:29 Well, Danny, sitting there in the passenger seat 31:35 and realizing, you know, we're alive. 31:41 But then looking at Idalia, 31:44 leaning back and struggling to breathe, 31:50 and I asked her 31:54 how do you feel, she says, 31:57 I have pain in my chest and I can hardly breathe, 32:01 and it's a horrible feeling 32:05 to know that someone you love is in pain 32:08 and there is really nothing 32:10 you can do to alleviate the pain. 32:14 So we were praying 32:16 but at the same time thankful to be alive. 32:18 Yes, we stopped and prayed, that's right. 32:21 And so, 32:24 when that lady appeared at her window 32:28 and the window was shattered, 32:30 the windshield was shattered. 32:32 She moved these things aside, 32:35 and it was good that the window was shattered 32:38 because the door could not be opened. 32:40 Yes, that's right. 32:41 They had to use some machines to open the door 32:43 to have access to her. 32:45 But when she said, 32:49 I'm a nurse, right away I said, 32:53 God already sent a nurse. 32:55 That's right. 32:57 We're gonna be okay. 33:00 Well, she has ten broken, and ten broken ribs. 33:05 Wow. Her elbow was dislocated. 33:08 Of course, it's been put back in place. 33:11 Many cuts on her left arm 33:15 and two of the cuts were deep enough 33:19 and long enough for them to put stitches on them. 33:23 The rest were smaller 33:24 but not as deep and then right now, 33:28 of course, the elbow was put back in place. 33:31 I don't know if you want to show your arm 33:33 but she can hardly lift her arm. 33:37 Therapy will be taking place 33:39 and her shoulder and her arm are of concern. 33:44 That's what the orthopedic surgeon said. 33:47 So her kidney, because she only has one. 33:52 I donated my other kidney in 2001. 33:56 And so we were concerned because it was bleeding 34:00 and a third of the kidney was bruised. 34:03 Wow. 34:04 And the lungs were bruised as well 34:09 and I had... 34:12 My injuries were minor, 34:13 both my knees were impacted and my feet, 34:18 both feet and my shin, I had a cut in my shin. 34:21 It wasn't, it was long enough 34:23 but not deep enough for stitches. 34:25 Amen. 34:26 But both my knees were swollen and my foot swollen as well. 34:32 I can walk a little better now but not at 100%. 34:35 Also we'll be doing some physical therapy. 34:38 But when we got out of the car, they asked me, can you walk? 34:44 I said, I can try because after a while, 34:47 you know, I said, I couldn't feel my legs 34:49 and I really couldn't. 34:50 That was so, so painful and I just couldn't feel them. 34:56 But I slowly tried to move them 34:58 and when there was this smoke inside the vehicle, 35:02 I tried to, you know, 35:04 I look at the vehicle pictures now 35:08 and I realized that what I tried to do then was, 35:11 boy that wasn't smart. 35:13 I tried to turn the car on. Yeah. 35:16 Because I wanted to lower the window 35:18 because to get the smoke out. 35:20 And when it couldn't, I couldn't, 35:22 I tried to open the door and push it with my right leg 35:25 a little bit open to get the smoke out. 35:28 There wasn't much smoke but I wanted to move, 35:30 I was coughing, so I wanted to get it out 35:32 and I didn't want her to start coughing 35:34 with all her pain. 35:36 And so they took us both in ambulances to make sure. 35:41 I didn't even look at the vehicles, 35:43 at the vehicle when we got out because my focus was, 35:47 you know, just as they were taking her out 35:50 and time seems eternal, you know. 35:52 Yes. 35:54 Please help her get out, then the machines were, 35:56 you could hear the sound of the machine 35:59 to try to get her out, 36:01 and I was like please hurry 36:02 and I said, Lord, please sustain her, 36:04 sustain us, help her, 36:07 and finally they were able to get her out. 36:09 I could hear her, you know, 36:12 utter painful sounds and my neck was hurt 36:16 and they have put a neck brace on, 36:18 but when she would make those horrible painful sounds, 36:21 I would turn and say please don't turn your head, 36:23 you know, you could have a neck injury. 36:25 But I couldn't help it, you know. 36:27 Anyway, I saw her being put into an ambulance 36:31 as I was being put into another, 36:33 and I said, I hope they take us to the same hospital 36:36 because I, you know, 36:37 I don't want to be apart from her 36:38 in this great hour of need. 36:42 So at the hospital, they took my X-rays 36:46 and while I'm in the room 36:48 and they're trying to figure out, 36:49 you know, what to do with me. 36:52 A nurse comes in and says, your wife has internal injuries 36:56 and we may need to do emergency surgery 36:58 and we are not able to handle that here. 37:01 So we're gonna have to take her to another hospital. 37:05 I asked to be taken to her room. 37:07 While I was there, 37:08 they said, your neck, your neck is okay, 37:10 you don't have any broken bones. 37:11 They took X-ray of my neck and my legs. 37:13 You don't have any broken bones 37:15 and we were talking to each other. 37:16 How do you feel, 37:17 where is your pain and these type of things, 37:19 and they managed to get us on the same ambulance 37:23 and I was grateful for that. 37:25 The driver was, I was in the front seat, 37:26 the driver tried to keep me busy 37:28 because I kept looking back. 37:30 Because every little bump was painful, 37:33 you know and I wanted to, you know, say hurry up, 37:36 you know, go as fast as you can. 37:38 Let us get there but again, he has to be careful as well. 37:40 That's right. 37:41 But at the other hospital, 37:43 it was determined that her internal injuries 37:45 did not require emergency surgery. 37:47 Amen. So praise the Lord for that. 37:50 They had to monitor her kidney 37:52 because it was bleeding for several days. 37:55 But the doctor said, 37:56 we believe your kidney will be fine. 37:58 Amen. 38:00 And so it was one-third of the kidney was injured. 38:02 So when you have only one, you know, we were concerned. 38:06 So by God's grace, we've made this far. 38:08 Amazing. 38:09 So, Tim, you're gonna have to sing 38:11 that again for them 38:13 because I just heard them say, God's good. 38:15 Amen. In a chorus. 38:17 Please. 38:18 God's been good in my life 38:24 And I feel so blessed beyond my wildest dreams 38:29 When I go to sleep each night 38:33 And though I've had my share of hard times 38:39 I wouldn't change them if I could 38:43 For through it all 38:51 God's been good 38:55 Idalia, people are saying, 38:57 "Look you were in this terrible accident, 39:00 you could have died 39:02 just as easily as lived 39:03 and you've been going through such terrible pain. 39:06 How can she sit there and say God is good?" 39:09 God has never left me. God was with me. 39:14 And it is sad to hear, people say, 39:20 "God allowed this or, 39:22 you know, God wants to capture attention or, 39:26 you know, send this and that" but you know what? 39:30 There is a Satan, 39:33 the devil that who is a liar 39:36 and wants to smear God's name 39:39 that wants to bring confusion and doubt 39:43 of his love and his power to work 39:46 and transform in our lives. 39:50 God has been faithful and good. 39:55 We have danced, walk, jump, ran, skipped 40:00 and hopped with Jesus through this 40:03 an experience like never before. 40:07 I laid in pain, I didn't, I don't remember 40:12 the seriousness of my condition, 40:15 but I remember 40:17 how close I felt the Lord covering 40:20 from head to toe. 40:21 Yes, yes. Okay. 40:22 I did not by the grace of God scream 40:28 or what have you in the room. 40:30 I was constantly, you know, your mental strength, 40:35 if you asked the Lord, 40:36 He will carry you through the situation. 40:39 Don't focus on how big your problem is. 40:42 Focus on how great and bigger God is, 40:45 and He is the solution to our problems. 40:48 Okay. Amen. 40:49 He created me. He is my medical doctor. 40:53 He knows every bone, 40:54 every fiber that this body has 40:57 and He is willing to mend my heart, my life. 41:02 The song, I want to spend my life 41:05 mending broken people. 41:09 I want to spend my life mending broken people 41:13 just like the Lord gave you that message Danny in song. 41:17 The Lord has mended my heart, 41:20 and there are many people 41:21 who are broken and need mending. 41:24 I want to say that, 41:26 when I was lying in bed, I don't know, 41:29 I just felt this urge of singing praises 41:33 to the Lord. 41:34 So I don't have any makeup and my hair was a mess 41:38 but that's okay. 41:40 Because what is important is the songs, 41:45 the prayers, the message 41:48 that holds us up closer to Jesus, 41:50 the strength came from above. 41:52 I have no strength. 41:53 I have no strength. I am so weak. 41:56 I am a mess, you know. 41:57 And when I would sing 42:02 the blood that Jesus shed for me 42:07 way back in Calvary, 42:09 the blood that gives me strength 42:13 from day-to-day. 42:17 Oh, that song was so special 42:19 and it continues to be in Spanish and in English. 42:24 Don't worry, I'm not gonna sing. 42:27 We can do it. 42:28 Oh, the blood 42:29 Sing it. 42:31 That Jesus 42:33 Shed for me 42:39 Way back 42:43 On Calvary 42:48 The blood that gives me strength 42:53 From day to day 42:58 It will never lose 43:04 Its power 43:06 Why? 43:08 Because it reaches 43:11 To the highest mountain 43:18 And it flows 43:21 To the lowest valley 43:28 The blood that gives me strength 43:33 From day to day 43:38 It will never lose 43:44 Its power 43:47 Then I heard the other song Johnny was singing, 43:49 the theme song was God is so good. 43:52 We sang, sing with us, Idalia. 43:54 Let's do. 43:56 God is so good 44:00 Sing it everybody. 44:02 God is so good 44:08 God is so good 44:13 He's so good to me 44:18 I love Him so. 44:21 I love him so 44:28 I love him so 44:34 I love him so 44:38 He's so good to me 44:43 And God answers prayers. 44:45 We got to do that one. 44:47 God answers prayers 44:51 Yes, he does. 44:53 God answers prayers 44:59 God answers prayers 45:04 He's so good 45:06 To us. 45:07 To us 45:11 Johnny, closing thought? 45:13 You know, 45:16 that morning of that accident 45:20 I had a dream, 45:21 I'm not a prophet nor claim to be one 45:23 but I told Idalia, I dreamed, 45:28 I was visiting somebody in the funeral 45:31 and she said, it's probably my funeral. 45:36 And during this three and a half weeks, 45:42 there was a time when there was fluid 45:44 around her lung and blood clots, 45:48 that morning's dream, the dream came to my mind, 45:53 and I had to ask myself and I said, 45:55 Lord, is that gonna be true? 45:58 Is she gonna die because there was a moment, 46:00 three and a half hours 46:02 when she had fluid around her lungs 46:04 that she could literally not breathe. 46:07 It was, it was, 46:10 and she couldn't get enough air in her lungs 46:15 and during these three hours, 46:17 it was like from 11 to... 46:20 Well, three and a half hours or so anyway. 46:22 She would almost seem to be falling asleep 46:26 and then it's like her, 46:28 she stopped breathing for a moment 46:31 and then suddenly, 46:32 she would breathe 46:34 but it was painful to breathe 46:35 because of the fluid and the broken ribs and... 46:40 Well, glad you did though, Idalia. 46:42 Glad you kept breathing, kept fighting it. 46:45 I want to say something, Danny. 46:47 You and Yvonne called me in a moment 46:51 when I couldn't breathe. 46:54 Johnny had stepped out of the room. 46:57 I had no one at that time to say, 47:02 please pray for me, 47:03 intervene, intercessory prayer I need it. 47:07 Yvonne, Hi, Tita, Banita on the phone. 47:11 Danny and I are just calling you 47:13 to pray for you. 47:15 Do you remember when I talked to you guys? 47:20 I couldn't talk. Absolutely. 47:22 I couldn't talk. 47:23 I said, what did I tell you exact, 47:25 I don't even remember. 47:27 Your voice was so weak. Yes. 47:30 And we were so worried about you, 47:34 but we turned it over to the Lord. 47:36 Amen. Prayed for you. 47:37 We prayed for you. 47:39 I said, please pray, I can't breathe. 47:41 We were shocked, you answered the phone. 47:43 I couldn't believe it. 47:45 You answered the phone and you said, 47:49 Johnny stepped out 47:50 just for a second and so God's timing, you know. 47:53 It's perfect. Yeah. 47:55 But you guys obeyed 47:56 the prompting of the Holy Spirit 47:58 to call me at that precise time and I could not say enough 48:05 thank you to you 48:06 and my whole 3ABN family, 48:09 my co-workers, my pastor and his wife, 48:12 who went to visit 48:14 the Traverse City Seventh-day Adventist Church, 48:16 though, Grand Rapids Seventh-day Adventist Church, 48:19 old Rapid and Cadillac Church 48:23 and whoever those viewers that came to my, 48:28 you don't know us but we know you, 48:31 and we watch you on family worship. 48:34 Yeah, thousands of people praying for you. 48:36 And they came and prayed for us. 48:39 They are at the hospital 48:40 but to those thousands of people 48:42 that are faithfully praying for this ministry, 48:45 and for myself and every single family 48:49 represented in this ministry, 48:51 I want to thank them 48:52 for their faithful prayers and concern, 48:56 genuine concern 48:58 because the days in this earth I counted pretty soon, 49:03 very soon we are going to see the King, 49:05 and we want to see all in heaven. 49:08 You know, there is something 49:09 that's missing in this testimony 49:11 and because sometimes you wonder 49:13 why do things happen? 49:14 Well, what Pastor Dinzey and Tita didn't say it was, 49:18 they just came back from Columbia 49:20 where over 850 souls were snatched 49:24 from the enemy's hand 49:25 by the work that the Lord had done 49:27 through their lives. 49:29 So this was not arbitrary. This was not a coincidence. 49:33 The enemy was angry that he lost over 800 souls, 49:36 not counting those 49:38 who are still preparing for baptism. 49:40 They went to his territory, a 176 speakers, 49:43 evangelists under their direction of 3ABN Latino. 49:46 They are coming back now on the high 49:48 and the devil is mad at them. 49:50 He said, if I could just show my anger by taking them out, 49:54 what he meant for evil, 49:56 the Lord turned it around for good. 49:58 So that's why this accident happened. 49:59 It was not her inability to drive or coincidence 50:02 but the devil was angry that these souls were snatched 50:04 from his kingdom. 50:05 Yeah. Absolutely. 50:07 We, go ahead, Tita. 50:08 Danny and Yvonne and team, as parents, 50:13 we worry about our children's spiritual lives. 50:17 We long for them to be in heaven. 50:19 We long for them to have a strong relationship 50:22 with the Lord, 50:23 and at times of trials in the families, 50:26 the children may turn their hearts 50:29 against the Lord or blame the Lord. 50:32 But I must testify that after talking with Samuel, 50:38 he is at peace, he says, "Mom, I love the Lord. 50:43 You're okay, look at what the Lord is doing. 50:46 Satan is angry. Okay. 50:49 I am not angry at the Lord, Mom." 50:52 Caleb, my son, he is 17. 50:56 What do you think about all these, Son? 50:59 What do you think 51:00 because a lot of people blame God? 51:02 He says, "Mom, I was asking the Lord why? 51:06 Why my Mom and Dad? Why? 51:08 Why our family? Why Lord?" 51:11 And in his meditation and prayers, 51:14 the Lord shared this impression, this message. 51:19 There are families out there 51:21 that if it would have happened to them, 51:23 maybe they don't have 51:24 that relationship with the Lord. 51:26 Maybe they don't have the faith. 51:28 Maybe they're in a fragile walk with the Lord, 51:32 or maybe have not an opportunity 51:34 to know the Lord. 51:36 So the Lord spared that family to give them an opportunity 51:40 to learn the gospel and learn about loving the Lord 51:42 in salvation. 51:44 Where our family, we already know. 51:46 So Mom, Poppy, we were on speaker phone, 51:49 Johnny can testify, he says, 51:52 "I thank the Lord that it was our family 51:54 because we have faith in God. 51:57 Because we have the spiritual support 51:59 and everybody is praying for you. 52:02 So praise the name of Jesus." Amen. 52:04 Danny, Yvonne and family. 52:08 We can say that it has been a horrible, horrible ordeal. 52:13 But we know the Lord has been with us. 52:14 Amen. 52:16 There were nurses and people 52:17 that would come into the room and say, 52:19 "I feel something good in this room. 52:22 I feel like a presence of angels." 52:26 And the Lord has been with us, 52:27 and we can say the Lord has been good to us. 52:30 In His mercy and His grace, we are still here. 52:33 Amen. 52:34 The Lord gave me song, two, three years ago. 52:36 If you can find me a key for it, 52:38 I'll just do the chords 'cause it will fit here today. 52:42 If I don't cry. 52:49 You've been good to me 52:53 Through all the years 52:59 You've been good to me 53:02 Through joys and tears 53:06 I want to thank you Lord 53:10 For all You've done 53:16 You've been good to us 53:19 Through all the years 53:23 You've been good to me 53:28 Through all the years 53:32 You've been good to me 53:35 All of us 53:36 Through joys and tears 53:40 I want to thank you Lord 53:45 For all You've done 53:50 You've been good to us 53:53 Through all the years 53:57 God's been good to you. 53:59 Amen. 54:00 Those of you at home, God's been good to you too. 54:02 Maybe this time together, today, 54:05 you're sitting there feeling sorry for yourself. 54:08 You're having a pity party. You're doing whatever. 54:11 Maybe you're conscious about it. 54:15 All these things and you're saying 54:17 but I didn't get this and I wanted to do that, 54:19 but this person seems like 54:21 everything they touch turns to good 54:23 and everything is bad for me. 54:25 But if you count your blessings, 54:27 I promise you, 54:28 you're gonna find that God has been good to you. 54:30 That's right. 54:31 God has been good to you and, you know, 54:33 we're talking, we have seen Brother Kenny 54:34 go through some things. 54:35 Jay is going through some things 54:37 that Jay has a lot of hair normally. 54:39 He will tell you a little bit 54:40 why later that hair is not there. 54:42 He didn't just decide that, 54:43 hey, I think I'll shave my head. 54:45 There is reasons for it. 54:46 Many of us have been through situations 54:49 but the devil is out to steal, 54:51 kill and to destroy but Jesus says, 54:53 "I've come to give you life and give it more abundantly." 54:55 That's right. 54:56 Somebody said well, well, I noticed you, 54:58 one guys actually said, 55:00 well, I noticed you Adventist die too, 55:02 and I said, so what's so bad about that? 55:05 Well, if the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy, 55:07 Jesus says, "He come to give you life 55:09 and give it more abundantly." 55:11 So, so why don't you live? 55:13 I said, "That's not necessarily abundant life 55:16 on this earth for eternity." 55:17 The Bible says, 55:19 "There's one appointed time for every man to die. 55:21 Blessed in the sight of the Lord 55:22 are the death of His saints. 55:24 That's right. So God's been good to us. 55:26 When Kay, melody's mother, 55:30 my first wife died in an automobile, 55:33 I had the same accident situation. 55:35 She died, she was dead in minutes. 55:38 But we didn't say, oh, look what God did. 55:41 We were mad at God. We can't do that. 55:43 We say, God's been good. God's been good. 55:45 You know why? 55:46 Because I have no doubt that at the resurrection 55:49 that she won't come forth from the grave. 55:52 God knew that and so the important thing 55:54 is not what happens to us so much here, 55:56 whether people love us or hate us, 55:58 or whether everything goes our way 56:00 because all who live Godly shall suffer persecution, 56:04 and there is all types of persecutions 56:06 that we could go through and spend hours, 56:08 but we don't need to. 56:09 The fact is, our soul belongs to God. 56:12 The devil can rob you of your health. 56:14 He can rob you of your home, 56:16 your cars, almost everything that you have, 56:20 and our life can be cut short, 56:22 but he can't rob us of our soul, 56:24 because our soul belongs to God. 56:26 So when we dedicate it to Him, 56:28 we submit and commit our live to Jesus, we win. 56:31 That's all there is to it. Satan has no power. 56:34 "Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world." 56:38 Johnny and Idalia is proof of it. 56:39 Kenny is proof of it. 56:41 Tammy has been going through stuff. 56:42 Proof of it. 56:43 I don't know if anybody up here. 56:45 Chris, you've been going through things. 56:46 Anybody up here. 56:47 Mollie, you've been going through some things 56:49 for several years. 56:50 I can name virtually every one of us, 56:52 especially us older ones. 56:53 Jill and Greg, I'm sorry if the Lord tarries, 56:55 your time is coming too, 56:56 you know, so, but you know what? 56:58 That's just an act of the enemy 57:00 but it doesn't change our relationship with God. 57:03 It doesn't change how good He's been to us 57:05 because He could have let us all die. 57:08 When that flood came, 57:09 He didn't have to save Noah and that little folk, 57:12 few folk in that Ark. 57:14 He could have said, I am sick of people. 57:16 They have not treated me right. 57:17 They talk about me. 57:19 They don't even, in fact, 57:20 some of them don't talk about me. 57:22 They don't even know, I exist. They claim, I don't exist. 57:24 I think, I'll just get rid of everybody. 57:26 Because I'm happy, I'm all powerful. 57:28 I don't need these folks. 57:30 But somehow 57:32 through great love, 57:36 great love, 57:38 He grew the tree that He knew would be used 57:41 to make the old rugged cross. 57:44 I'm getting choked up. 57:46 God planted the seed that He knew would grow 57:51 and He nurtured it 57:52 and allowed it to grow to become the tree 57:56 that He would be nailed to the cross. 57:58 You know why? 58:00 Because the devil didn't take Jesus' life. 58:04 The people around Him that crucified Him, 58:06 they didn't take His life. 58:07 The beauty of this is, He gave His life. 58:11 The Bible says, "For God so loved the world 58:13 that He gave His only begotten Son 58:16 that whosoever shall believe in Him 58:18 should believe in him, shall not perish 58:21 but have ever lasting life." 58:23 So God's been good. 58:25 Amen. I think God's been good. 58:26 Tammy, we got to sing that, your chorus again. 58:29 Thank you Lord, right? 58:30 Because He's the one that's saving. 58:32 He's the salvation in this. 58:36 Thank you Lord 58:40 For saving my soul 58:45 Thank you Lord 58:49 For making me whole 58:54 Thank you Lord 58:58 For giving to me 59:03 Thy great salvation 59:07 So full and free 59:11 Yvonne, talk to us. 59:14 Oh, you know, I was sitting here 59:16 thinking about how the outcome could have been so different, 59:20 and yet just knowing 59:23 that God has had His hand 59:26 on Tita and Johnny, 59:30 and on Kenny and on Chris, 59:34 and on Jay and Mollie, 59:38 and on all of us, all of us. 59:41 Everybody has something, 59:42 everybody is going through something and yet 59:45 we don't go through it alone. 59:48 We have the Lord, God, 59:50 the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, 59:55 God who says, I'm never gonna leave you. 59:58 I'm never gonna forsake you. 01:00:01 And so as I listened to Idalia talk about 01:00:05 what she's been through and Johnny, 01:00:06 what they've been through. 01:00:09 It does my heart such good to know 01:00:11 that they did not do it alone. 01:00:13 And the presence of God was felt in that room. 01:00:18 When my dad was ill and toward the end of his life, 01:00:22 I just, I felt the presence of God in his room. 01:00:25 That's right. Amen. 01:00:27 And so just as Danny was saying, you are not alone. 01:00:30 This can be a very lonely time for many people 01:00:35 because they feel like, you know, they are alone, 01:00:37 nobody is there, nobody loves them 01:00:40 but you are loved and you are cared for. 01:00:44 God has a plan for you, and if you just seek Him, 01:00:48 He will let you know what that plan is 01:00:51 and you will walk in that divine plan 01:00:54 and your life will be totally different. 01:00:57 Just trust in God 01:01:00 and know that 01:01:01 there is rich fulfillment for you. 01:01:04 There is a text in Psalm that I read 01:01:07 and I don't remember where is but it has to do with you 01:01:11 going through the fire and the water 01:01:15 but, and it's not the one in Isaiah, Isaiah 43:1-3. 01:01:19 It's a different one. 01:01:20 And it says that, but at the end of it, 01:01:23 God will bring you to rich fulfillment. 01:01:26 And so know that 01:01:28 there is rich fulfillment for you in God's plan. 01:01:33 Okay. 01:01:34 Well, you and Tim get together quickly 01:01:36 and you've got to sing us a little chorus right now. 01:01:38 I think some type of Thanksgiving chorus 01:01:41 or so that you got. 01:01:42 What you got in your heart. You know what? 01:03:52 We've been hearing from all of us old folks 01:03:54 with their aches and their pains 01:03:55 and things happening. 01:03:57 Not just Johnny and Idalia is old, 01:03:58 but they are younger 01:03:59 but they still going through a lot. 01:04:01 I want to hear from Jason. 01:04:03 I want to hear what Jason's got on his heart this morning 01:04:05 because I think God's been calling Jason to preach. 01:04:10 So, Jason, what's on your heart today? 01:04:12 I see, you got your Bible there. 01:04:14 Well, you know, one of the things 01:04:15 that I love about the God that we serve is that 01:04:18 He not only creates us but He sustains us. 01:04:22 When you go back to the story of creation 01:04:24 and you look at when man came to the earth, 01:04:27 everything was in place. 01:04:30 He entrusted us 01:04:32 with what belongs to Him to manage. 01:04:35 So He creates us and He sustains us. 01:04:38 Another thing that I love is that 01:04:40 He gave us basic instructions before leaving earth, 01:04:43 the Bible, the Word of God. 01:04:45 And in Psalm 116:12 it says, 01:04:48 "What shall I render unto the Lord 01:04:50 for all his benefits toward me?" 01:04:54 And then this is a study Bible 01:04:56 so I have Patriarchs and Prophets here too, 01:04:59 page 187, this is beautiful. 01:05:02 "The Christian should often review his past life 01:05:04 and recall with gratitude the precious deliverances 01:05:08 that God has wrought for him, supporting him in trial, 01:05:11 opening ways before him 01:05:13 when all seemed dark and forbidden, 01:05:16 refreshing him when ready to faint. 01:05:19 He should recognize all of them as evidences of the watchcare 01:05:22 of heavenly angels. 01:05:24 In view of these innumerable blessings 01:05:27 he should often ask, 01:05:29 with subdued and grateful heart, 01:05:31 "What shall I render unto the Lord 01:05:33 for all His benefits toward me?" 01:05:36 You know, Thanksgiving is a beautiful time 01:05:38 because family can come together 01:05:40 and we can share what we are thankful for. 01:05:43 You know, everybody that knows me, knows that 01:05:46 I love Thanksgiving especially for the food. 01:05:48 The food. 01:05:49 Jason's thankful for food every day. 01:05:52 Absolutely. 01:05:53 Angie, when he goes on a trip, if you follow his Facebook 01:05:57 and sometimes instead of showing where he's been, 01:06:00 he shows his plate of food. 01:06:02 Yes. 01:06:04 And so while I love food, 01:06:05 food hasn't been loving me as much lately. 01:06:08 The metabolism is slowing down but thanks, 01:06:12 but Thanksgiving is such a great time 01:06:14 because we have so many things to be thankful for. 01:06:18 You know, there are so many instances, 01:06:20 things that we have been spared from that 01:06:22 we don't even realize, that we don't even see 01:06:25 that one day when we get to heaven, 01:06:27 we can thank our guardian angels 01:06:30 and thank our heavenly Father for protecting us 01:06:33 during these times. 01:06:34 You know, I'm so thankful that 01:06:36 Johnny and Idalia are here with us 01:06:39 because if that would have been a couple inches 01:06:41 in a different direction, that could have been it. 01:06:44 But God spared you guys and I'm so grateful for that, 01:06:47 and it's just a realization that time is short 01:06:51 and the devil, the devil is angry 01:06:53 and he is mad at the work that's going forth 01:06:56 because he knows he's gonna lose. 01:06:59 You know, it's already stated. 01:07:02 He is, he is a loser. 01:07:05 God is victorious. 01:07:07 And so, now is the time to surrender our lives 01:07:12 fully to the Lord. 01:07:14 You know, there is no time to play. 01:07:16 Amen. 01:07:17 Now, Momma, 01:07:19 there's a lots of mothers out there, 01:07:21 they are discouraged right now. 01:07:26 You would ask me that right now. 01:07:28 You would ask me that right now. 01:07:30 Their sons, their daughters, they've raised them. 01:07:33 They feel like in Lord, they are not there. 01:07:35 How are you feeling right now when you hear your son Jason 01:07:38 who is not always been living for the Lord 01:07:41 till the last few years. 01:07:42 That's right. That's right. 01:07:43 What does that do for you and how does that, 01:07:45 how do we encourage the others? 01:07:46 It just lets me know that God hears our prayers. 01:07:50 You know, for years, I prayed for my children, 01:07:54 and I asked God to please save them, 01:07:56 and I'm still praying 01:07:59 that God will not just save but keep 01:08:01 because the enemy is so busy, but I prayed and I remember, 01:08:07 I was praying about my older son 01:08:11 and that at one point he was, it was years and years ago 01:08:14 and he had gotten involved with the wrong people 01:08:16 and I was saying, Lord, 01:08:18 please don't let him die in his sins. 01:08:20 Please don't, please. 01:08:23 And I was just crying before the Lord, 01:08:25 and I remember vividly that the Lord spoke to my heart 01:08:31 and quoted that verse in Isaiah that said, 01:08:33 I will contend with them, that contend would be 01:08:36 and I will save thy children, and I've seen God do it. 01:08:40 He's doing it, He's done it in the life of Jason 01:08:43 and He's continuing to do it, and He's working on Mark, 01:08:46 and He will work on your child. 01:08:49 Your child belongs to Him too, 01:08:52 and He loves your child more than you do. 01:08:54 So just, just you be faithful 01:08:57 and you set the right example for your children 01:09:01 and ask God to keep you in his way 01:09:04 and keep your children before the Lord, 01:09:07 dedicating them to Him and watch what God does. 01:09:11 Don't be discouraged. 01:09:12 It might not happen when right when you wanted to, 01:09:15 but it will happen 01:09:17 because God will answer our prayers. 01:09:19 All right. Okay. 01:09:29 Mollie Sue. 01:09:30 What's on your heart today? 01:09:32 Don't you love it when Mollie, you just hand her microphone, 01:09:34 she's doesn't playing anything and all of a sudden, 01:09:37 you just feel this anointing coming out. 01:09:39 What are you want to encourage us, 01:09:40 this is Thanksgiving, it's a happy time, 01:09:43 and what's on your heart today? 01:09:45 You know, I look around and seem 01:09:47 we are all just a mess here at 3ABN. 01:09:49 We are a mess that God has touched. 01:09:51 Every one of us has been through some, 01:09:54 and if it wasn't for the grace and mercy of God, 01:09:56 we wouldn't be here. 01:09:58 But we've all experienced that touch from God on our lives, 01:10:01 and we've been through difficulties. 01:10:03 And I just think about myself, you know, 01:10:06 this is just like a little trite saying 01:10:08 but I am a little Alabama country girl. 01:10:10 I was raised in the country in Alabama. 01:10:13 I owned a farm. 01:10:15 We had cotton fields and I tell people, 01:10:18 I came from the cotton fields in Alabama 01:10:20 to the cornfields in Illinois. 01:10:22 Now how on earth did that happen? 01:10:23 Only God could do something like that 01:10:26 and this is Thanksgiving. 01:10:28 I am thankful. 01:10:30 Are you all thankful here today? 01:10:31 I'm so thankful and I'm grateful 01:10:33 because you know what? 01:10:34 I could still be back in the cotton field in Alabama 01:10:36 accomplishing absolutely nothing. 01:10:38 But you know, my life is going to account for something. 01:10:42 There are people has an effect of the grace and mercy of God 01:10:49 and the call He has placed on my life. 01:10:50 They are gonna be in the kingdom. 01:10:53 You know, and that, 01:10:55 only God could do something like that, 01:10:56 and so I am just grateful here today 01:10:59 to be a part of this ministry and that I have got a son 01:11:03 and his name is Jeremy Allen Steenson. 01:11:06 He is a mighty fan of God. 01:11:08 He's full of grace, and mercy, and power, 01:11:10 and he is a mighty man of God. 01:11:12 He is still in the making. 01:11:14 But Jason, honey, you're still in the making too. 01:11:16 We've all got ways to go and none of us have arrived, 01:11:19 but because of God, we are going to accomplish, 01:11:23 and you know what? 01:11:25 He is gonna be in heaven with the best of us. 01:11:27 All right. Amen and amen. 01:11:29 Praise the Lord. 01:11:30 Greg, what's on your heart right now? 01:11:33 You know, I really like the Thanksgiving time of year. 01:11:36 There are so many things to be thankful for. 01:11:38 You know, as already, 01:11:40 I have mentioned already in this program, 01:11:41 and I know also which you mentioned earlier, 01:11:45 Mr. Danny and several others, that this time of year 01:11:48 can actually be a lonely time for some people 01:11:50 because they look, they sit at their table 01:11:52 for their Thanksgiving dinner or even in their living room 01:11:54 just, you know, their daily lives 01:11:56 and somebody is missing, missing 01:11:58 because they are sleeping in Jesus. 01:12:00 And so that's sad, you know, because 01:12:02 you have a family member, a loved one, a friend 01:12:05 and even here I think about our own 3ABN family. 01:12:07 We've had several this year 01:12:09 that have gone to sleep in Jesus. 01:12:11 But it's with great hope, right, 01:12:12 and anticipation that we look forward 01:12:14 to Christ soon return. 01:12:16 And Jill and I went to college together. 01:12:18 It's a great privilege to go together. 01:12:20 We didn't go together as husband and wife. 01:12:22 She was one of the students there 01:12:24 and I was too, and praise the Lord, 01:12:27 He brought her into my life 01:12:29 and we got married 15 years ago, 01:12:30 and she's a tremendous blessing to me in my life. 01:12:33 But we traveled in a little touring choir at the school 01:12:36 and that Jill played the piano and I attempted to sing 01:12:38 a few songs here and there with the choir, 01:12:41 but one of the songs that we sing 01:12:43 was entitled the blessed hope 01:12:45 which is referencing 1 Thessalonians 4, 01:12:49 and it talks about 01:12:50 how we can comfort one another with the words 01:12:52 that Jesus Christ is coming soon. 01:12:55 So yes, it's sad, I mean, we realize in this earth 01:12:57 that there are trials and things that come our way, 01:13:00 including those that we love 01:13:02 that have gone to sleep in Jesus 01:13:03 but it's with great anticipation, I know, 01:13:06 even I have family members and friends 01:13:07 that have gone to sleep in Jesus, 01:13:09 that we look forward to Christ's soon return. 01:13:10 So I have a lot to be thankful for 01:13:12 and you do too. 01:13:13 We can be in our own sphere of sadness, 01:13:16 but God wants us to get out of that 01:13:18 and actually serve others. 01:13:21 You know, because it's easy to just think and think 01:13:23 and think on the negative things, 01:13:24 but this time of the year, it's like, okay, 01:13:26 how can I help somebody else? 01:13:27 So if you're alone like, okay, 01:13:29 if I can't get out of the house, 01:13:30 maybe I can ride a little car to someone I know 01:13:32 that maybe needs a little encouragement, 01:13:34 or if you can't get out of the house 01:13:36 to maybe go visit somebody 01:13:38 and then what you'd find will happen is that 01:13:40 you yourself become happy and it cheers your own soul. 01:13:43 So anyway, I just want to encourage you with that. 01:13:45 Absolutely love it. 01:13:47 Tim, do you know the song... 01:13:48 I'm happy in the Lord anyway 01:13:52 And it really doesn't matter 01:13:54 What comes my way today 01:13:56 I'm going to wear a smile 01:13:57 Hold my head up high and say 01:14:00 I'm happy in the Lord, anyway 01:14:02 Let's do it again. 01:14:04 I'm happy in the Lord anyway 01:14:08 And it really doesn't matter 01:14:10 What comes my way today 01:14:12 I'm going to wear a smile 01:14:14 Hold my head up high and say 01:14:16 I'm happy in the Lord, anyway 01:14:21 All right. Sister Jill, what's on your heart? 01:14:25 What a blessing this program has been. 01:14:28 As I think back over this year, 01:14:30 to me this past year has been a time of stretching. 01:14:34 I know from my own self personally, 01:14:37 my own walk with Jesus, 01:14:39 a time of getting deeper into His Word, 01:14:42 a time of experiencing Him in a way 01:14:46 that I have not done that before. 01:14:48 A time of growing closer 01:14:50 to my brothers and sisters here at 3ABN 01:14:53 in a deeper way than I experienced before. 01:14:57 I know many people as we've been sharing 01:14:59 have been stretched by trials. 01:15:03 But God is over all and He sees us, 01:15:07 and He knows and He's working His character 01:15:13 the beauty of Jesus into our hearts and lives. 01:15:18 Just this morning, I was reading Jeremiah 9:23, 01:15:22 "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom." 01:15:26 And I don't know how many times I've come before the Father 01:15:29 and said, "God, I don't have wisdom." 01:15:32 And he says in James, 01:15:33 "If you lack wisdom, let him ask 01:15:36 and it will be given to him." 01:15:38 It says, 01:15:40 "Let not the mighty man glory in his might." 01:15:42 Do you feel weak today? 01:15:44 He says, "My grace is sufficient for you. 01:15:49 Let not the rich man 01:15:52 glory in his riches." 01:15:56 Do you feel like, you don't have money, 01:15:58 you don't have even the necessities for life. 01:16:01 God says, "My God will supply all your needs 01:16:06 according to his glory and riches by Christ Jesus." 01:16:10 But the text continues, 01:16:12 what are we supposed to glory in, 01:16:14 "But let him that glory, glories in this 01:16:17 that he understands and knoweth me 01:16:20 that I am the Lord 01:16:23 who exercises loving kindness." 01:16:27 "Judgment and righteousness in the earth, 01:16:30 for in these things I delight says the Lord." 01:16:34 God has called us here as a 3ABN family. 01:16:37 God has called you at home as part of the 3ABN family 01:16:43 to have a part in proclaiming the three angels' messages 01:16:48 to a lost and dying world. 01:16:49 One of my favorite scriptures is 2 Corinthians 4. 01:16:52 "We have this treasure in earthen vessels." 01:16:55 New Living Translation says jars of clay. 01:16:58 That's all any of us are. 01:17:00 We have nothing special in ourselves to merit 01:17:03 that we are worthy of service. 01:17:05 We are empty, broken jars of clay. 01:17:08 God says, by the power of His spirit, 01:17:10 He will fill us with His Holy Spirit, 01:17:14 He will stand us up 01:17:16 so that we can be His witnesses. 01:17:18 The treasure, 01:17:19 the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, 01:17:22 He pours into us as jars of clay, 01:17:25 that we can share that message with the lost and dying world. 01:17:31 So I don't know 01:17:32 where you are today in your walk with Jesus, 01:17:35 but don't wait another moment. 01:17:37 If you have not accepted Him as your Savior, 01:17:40 today is the day of salvation. 01:17:42 We saw the Dinzeys here. 01:17:44 We are not guaranteed tomorrow. Make a choice today. 01:17:49 Give your heart to Him. 01:17:51 Serve Him with everything you have, 01:17:53 and if you already walk with Him, 01:17:55 make a covenant to recommit your life to Jesus. 01:17:59 He will pour His Spirit into you, 01:18:02 His anointing 01:18:03 so that you can go out and share Him 01:18:06 with the lost and dying world. 01:18:09 Amen. Praise the Lord. 01:18:10 And I would say, never be discouraged 01:18:12 no matter what people say or think about you 01:18:15 because as I mentioned a while ago, the Bible says, 01:18:18 "All who live Godly shall suffer persecution." 01:18:20 So sometimes when you're sitting there 01:18:22 and it helps, I'll admit it, 01:18:24 it helps to have a great family around us. 01:18:26 But there is times in my life 01:18:27 when I haven't had someone there 01:18:29 and you tend to get discouraged, 01:18:31 but you don't have to be discouraged 01:18:33 because we've been hearing today 01:18:35 that God is on your side. 01:18:38 And I've said so many times 01:18:40 before when we read the back of the book, 01:18:42 it says they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb 01:18:44 and the word of their testimony. 01:18:46 So we know that when we accept Jesus Christ 01:18:48 as Lord and Savior of our life and we get discouraged, 01:18:52 all we have to do is look at the back of the book. 01:18:54 Read Revelation, read Daniel, read Revelation, 01:18:57 read these prophecies that says in the end 01:19:00 we will overcome by the blood of the Lamb 01:19:02 and the word of our testimony. 01:19:03 So whenever you feel down and out, 01:19:06 or you feel maybe, John, when people really 01:19:08 will call it dog can use the most, 01:19:10 instead of getting discouraged, that's when you stand up 01:19:13 and say, you know what? 01:19:14 Praise God from whom all blessings flow. 01:19:16 I won't be discouraged. I stayed up late last night. 01:19:20 I was answering letters. 01:19:21 Someone wrote me and said, 01:19:23 you need to step down from the ministry 01:19:25 and you know, you should have stepped down years ago. 01:19:28 You have no business in ministry 01:19:30 because you are a controversial figure, 01:19:34 they said. 01:19:35 And so we believe that you should step down 01:19:38 because controversy shouldn't surround you. 01:19:41 So I bothered to write back and said, boy, 01:19:43 wouldn't that be too bad for Jesus and for God 01:19:46 because in heaven the devil started a controversy, 01:19:51 attacked God's character and a third of the angels left. 01:19:55 So surely God must be guilty. 01:19:57 I mean, going by this train of thought 01:19:59 is what the man says, but a third of the angels left, 01:20:02 so I wonder if God should just get rid of us all because, 01:20:05 or we shouldn't believe in Him because there is controversy, 01:20:08 the great controversy 01:20:09 between good and evil is going on. 01:20:11 I said, controversy, he says, 01:20:13 you should be able to get along with everybody. 01:20:15 And I said, I wonder, so I wrote back and said, 01:20:18 I wonder if Steven felt like he'd gotten along 01:20:20 with everybody when he got stoned. 01:20:22 I wonder, you know, I wonder how Peter felt 01:20:24 when he was crucified upside down. 01:20:26 You know, and I started going through. 01:20:28 I said, I could go through this with hours and hours. 01:20:31 I said, why would I step down to please the enemies, right? 01:20:37 Jesus say, go, the blessing is on the go, 01:20:40 and the devil says stop. 01:20:41 So any time someone tells you, 01:20:43 well, you shouldn't be out doing this. 01:20:44 You're not perfect 01:20:45 and we're not, we're all imperfect. 01:20:47 I've made mistakes, you've made mistakes. 01:20:48 We all have. 01:20:50 But any time somebody discourages you, 01:20:53 the last thing you want to do is say, 01:20:54 well, I guess I'm really not fit for ministry. 01:20:57 I guess, I'm really not fit to witness 01:20:59 to my fellow neighbor. 01:21:01 We're not, we can't do it, but through Jesus Christ 01:21:03 we can accomplish all things. 01:21:05 So I want to encourage you today, 01:21:06 it doesn't make any difference what people say about you. 01:21:09 Don't be discouraged, somebody oh, well, 01:21:11 I don't go to church anymore. 01:21:12 Somebody offended me they said, 01:21:14 why would you allow somebody else 01:21:17 to do something bad to you 01:21:20 because all you have to do is say, Lord, 01:21:22 I'm gonna serve you no matter what. 01:21:24 So you don't play into the hands of the enemy 01:21:26 when someone comes and discourages you. 01:21:29 No, you stand up and say, praise the Lord 01:21:31 from whom all blessings flow. 01:21:33 I'm the sinner saved by grace and hopefully you are too. 01:21:36 But I'm not about to step down. 01:21:38 If the Lord wants me out of ministry, 01:21:41 He will take me out of ministry 01:21:42 and I understand that if I stay in ministry 01:21:45 till I'm 95, John, and I die, 01:21:47 there is somebody that would say, 01:21:49 I knew the Lord will get rid of that terrible guy, you know. 01:21:52 I knew it, he should have stepped down years ago. 01:21:54 That's the way people are. 01:21:56 But do you think, I really care about that? 01:21:58 No, I'm just thankful that after 33 years, 01:22:02 it's now been 33 years ago we're impressed 01:22:04 to build a television station to reach the world. 01:22:07 I was 33 years old then, I was a young man. 01:22:10 Now, 33 years later, you can do the math, right? 01:22:14 But I'm so blessed that if I die today, 01:22:16 I'll never regret anything that I've been working for God 01:22:19 and being in ministry. 01:22:21 I love it. I'm so thankful. 01:22:22 I look at Greg and Jill and I feel, 01:22:25 I feel guilty, I feel like I don't think 01:22:27 I ever was as dedicated to this ministry 01:22:30 as Greg and Jill. 01:22:32 They work constantly and I'm telling you, 01:22:34 you need to take some time off. 01:22:35 Take a half hour here and there. 01:22:37 No, I'm just kidding. 01:22:38 But they are so dedicated, they leave no job undone. 01:22:42 That means work on Fridays when most of us work, 01:22:45 you know, our workers here we do ten hours a day, 01:22:48 four days a week but they do Fridays, 01:22:50 they do Sundays everyday but Sabbath. 01:22:52 Then they travel. 01:22:53 They do all kinds of ministry. 01:22:55 And I'm so thankful that God has brought you 01:22:57 young folk here that you have caught 01:23:00 the vision of getting the undiluted 01:23:03 three angels' messages, 01:23:04 one that would counteract 01:23:06 the counterfeit into all the world. 01:23:07 And, Jason, for you, for you young folk 01:23:10 that's coming in, it give us such hope 01:23:13 as should the Lord tarry that 3ABN is in good hands. 01:23:16 So, folks, we want you all to uplift Greg and Jill 01:23:20 and Jason, all the young, 01:23:21 Tammy, you're in that pretty young group too, 01:23:23 so we're gonna put you there. 01:23:26 You're under 50. 01:23:28 You're still there, the rest of us you know. 01:23:30 But anyway, don't be discouraged today. 01:23:31 Be thankful that you are where you are 01:23:35 and that God is willing to use anyone 01:23:37 who is willing to be used, 01:23:38 and you were not born by accident. 01:23:41 When Jesus was on the cross, you were on His mind. 01:23:44 And I always like to say, He could look down 01:23:46 the stream of time and see at people 01:23:48 who would be willing to give their lives unto death 01:23:50 if necessary for the cause of God. 01:23:52 What an honor to be alive 01:23:54 in these closing moments of earth's history. 01:23:57 Let's be happy in the Lord 01:23:58 I'm happy in the Lord anyway 01:24:02 And it really doesn't matter 01:24:04 What comes my way today 01:24:06 I'm gonna wear a smile 01:24:08 Hold my head up high 01:24:09 And say I'm happy in the Lord anyway 01:24:14 Yes, I'm happy in the Lord anyway 01:24:17 How was that Tim? 01:24:18 I just go anywhere 01:24:20 and Tim goes right with you, isn't that? 01:24:21 Has no idea what key you're singing in, 01:24:24 what you're gonna do if you're gonna tag it 01:24:25 and go back and he stays right with you, great job. 01:24:28 Tammy, you got your microphone. 01:24:30 What's on your heart? 01:24:31 Well, talking about discouragement and Christian 01:24:34 going through things. 01:24:36 I remember back several years ago, 01:24:38 we had a cousin that lost her mother 01:24:41 and he said... 01:24:42 To him he said, it was unbelievable. 01:24:44 He said, she was just the model mother. 01:24:46 She was just the most devout Christian. 01:24:49 Why her? 01:24:50 He said, why her? And I said why not? 01:24:53 And he looked at me like that, it seemed cruel. 01:24:57 I said no, I'm saying just because we're Christians, 01:24:59 does that mean we're exempt from all these trials, 01:25:02 and heartaches, and death, and strokes, 01:25:04 and the things that happen? 01:25:06 No, it's because as Tita said, there is Satan, 01:25:11 there is a God, there is a controversy. 01:25:14 And I'm just thankful today that the Lord brings us through 01:25:18 and we joked before the program 01:25:20 that I might take time to be thankful for my brothers. 01:25:25 At least, you joked about. 01:25:28 I told her, it's only a two hour program. 01:25:30 Don't spend over saying hour so talking about Kenny and me, 01:25:33 her brothers, you know, just cut it to 59 minutes 01:25:36 and 55 seconds or something. 01:25:38 But we do know that the Lord has brought Kenny through. 01:25:42 Our oldest brother has been 01:25:43 through terrible times, terrible health 01:25:45 and he was at my house last night. 01:25:47 And I never thought, 01:25:48 I would see him at my house again. 01:25:50 Praise the Lord. 01:25:51 And you've had problems 01:25:52 and the Lord has brought us through. 01:25:54 I had surgery this year 01:25:56 and I mean every, everywhere I look, 01:25:59 there is heartache, there is health problems. 01:26:02 I look around when I was in the hospital, 01:26:04 I look around at the people coming 01:26:06 and going and you say, 01:26:08 everywhere, every town the doctors are full, 01:26:11 the hospitals are full. 01:26:14 So many health problems. 01:26:16 What is going on? 01:26:18 It's the world, it's the way Satan made it. 01:26:20 He wants to kill us. He wants to destroy us. 01:26:23 But God came to give us eternal life, 01:26:27 and I can sum it up by saying as the song says, 01:26:30 to God be the glory, great things He has done. 01:26:32 Okay. All right, good deal. 01:26:34 Sister Chris, what's on your mind? 01:26:37 A lot. 01:26:40 But I just want to praise the Lord. 01:26:42 This has been quite an emotional 01:26:45 Thanksgiving program. 01:26:47 It's brought a lot of memories. 01:26:50 You know, when I listen to Tita. 01:26:53 In a moment, you know, all of us were justified, 01:26:55 but we begin to walk this road of sanctification. 01:26:59 And one thing that has given me hope 01:27:01 on this up and down 01:27:03 as were a roller coaster ride of sanctification 01:27:06 is that God will not allow anything to touch 01:27:10 the apple of His eye 01:27:12 unless He okays it and He trusts us with it. 01:27:16 So all of us have been experiencing that, 01:27:20 that spiritual warfare 01:27:22 and during that spiritual warfare, 01:27:24 I can remember as a little girl thinking, 01:27:26 you know, whether times are good 01:27:28 or whether times are rough, 01:27:29 Lord, help me to keep my eyes on You. 01:27:32 Amen. There you go, come on. 01:27:36 It's all right. Yeah. 01:27:39 I just want to love Him and I felt a call to serve Him 01:27:45 at a very young age. 01:27:49 And as I listen to these stories 01:27:51 even about the breathing, my heart went back to January 01:27:55 and you were there, 01:27:57 we saw Kenny struggled to breath, 01:28:01 and there were times during the night 01:28:03 that he would quit breathing and he would wake up 01:28:06 and just, you know, 01:28:07 because we didn't know if he was gonna make it. 01:28:11 Our youngest daughter, 01:28:13 see we have asthma in our family too 01:28:15 and our youngest daughter, she died in my arms. 01:28:18 She quit breathing and her last words were, 01:28:22 help me. 01:28:25 There's trials, there's struggles in this life 01:28:29 and I often remind her, 01:28:32 God didn't save you 01:28:34 for you to go out into the world. 01:28:35 He didn't save you to be lost. 01:28:38 That's good. He wants us to be saved. 01:28:41 So whether you're going through a high time, 01:28:43 you're up on the mountaintop or you're down in the valley, 01:28:47 He's seeking to save those which are lost. 01:28:51 And you mentioned I've been having trouble, 01:28:53 I haven't shared that really openly, 01:28:56 but I praise God for you guys, for my family. 01:29:00 Because while Pastor Kenny was in the hospital, 01:29:03 I was having some difficulties with my lymph nodes 01:29:07 and I had a doctor palpitate 01:29:09 and said that they palpitated malignant, 01:29:12 and I was having trouble with insurance. 01:29:15 I didn't let him do a biopsy 01:29:17 and when they began to get better 01:29:19 with some treatments over this summer, 01:29:22 I got a little careless, a little lazy 01:29:25 and they came to ahead 01:29:27 and it got really bad a few weeks ago. 01:29:31 And I went to have a thermogram. 01:29:34 I hear people talking about thermology on 3ABN 01:29:37 and Dr. Yvonne, she told me about that 01:29:40 and Dr. Lisa told me about that. 01:29:43 And the test didn't come back good. 01:29:46 But you know, through it all God has given peace, 01:29:50 which has been up and down but He's given peace 01:29:52 and He's waking me up early, 01:29:54 and I'm doing treatments in the morning. 01:29:55 I'm doing things during the day. 01:29:58 Same with our spiritual walk. 01:30:01 When you realize that thin thread 01:30:07 between life and death, 01:30:09 between eternal salvation and damnation, 01:30:12 we need to get busy, we need to do all we can. 01:30:16 We need to be getting up early saying, 01:30:18 Lord, wake me up early. 01:30:21 Help me to get ready, get ready, get ready 01:30:24 and right before we started our program, 01:30:27 you mentioned sharing and I just kind of opened 01:30:31 Spirit of Prophecy up and I saw in Early Writings, 01:30:34 it says and this is such a wonderful hope. 01:30:38 It says that Christ will not leave 01:30:40 the most holy place until every soul is sealed 01:30:45 for eternity for salvation or for damnation. 01:30:50 We have a choice. 01:30:52 Be thankful for that choice. 01:30:54 Be thankful for Jesus and never ever let Him go. 01:30:59 Amen. John? 01:35:20 You know, Danny, you made a statement a moment ago 01:35:22 which was a confirmation of what the Lord was telling me 01:35:24 just about three minutes earlier about rain. 01:35:26 You know, rain can cause a flower to grow 01:35:28 or could wash a house away. 01:35:31 The same rain, the Lord allows to come into our lives 01:35:34 and this morning after we read a devotion, 01:35:36 matter of fact we read two, they were so good. 01:35:39 And I said, honey, Daniel is the only one 01:35:42 that knows what it's like to sleep 01:35:45 on the breast of the lion. 01:35:48 The lion probably thought to himself 01:35:50 why can't I eat this man? 01:35:54 I'm hungry. 01:35:56 I've been waiting for two days to eat 01:35:58 and here he is laying on my, 01:36:00 he is so close, I can't eat him. 01:36:02 And I never thought of from the lion's perspective. 01:36:05 This is new to me. 01:36:06 And I said, honey, the Lord has given me 01:36:08 some providential thoughts this morning. 01:36:09 I said, Daniel said, you are gonna eat 01:36:12 but it's not gonna be me. 01:36:14 Just wait a while, there is gonna, 01:36:16 a great meal that's been prepared 01:36:17 for you right now. 01:36:18 And I thought, the thought came to me, 01:36:20 was so profound, the only one that had to be concerned 01:36:26 about being devoured was the ones that put Daniel 01:36:30 in that situation. 01:36:32 And I thought, God allows us to go through 01:36:34 trials and sometimes they are of our own making. 01:36:38 But sometimes, it's because of the environment we are in, 01:36:41 the difficulty around us. 01:36:42 The same goes this way, it says, 01:36:45 it is not happy people that are thankful 01:36:47 but thankful people that are happy. 01:36:49 Yes. 01:36:50 And when Paul the Apostle in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, 01:36:54 and everything give thanks for this is the will of God. 01:36:58 What is God's will? 01:36:59 Give thanks, for this is the will of God 01:37:01 and Christ Jesus concerning you. 01:37:03 And so we came through, we began 2017 01:37:08 by not sliding into it but by our commitment 01:37:11 and covenant at the end of 2016 and this year, we said, I said, 01:37:16 honey, I cannot just be a regular pastor anymore. 01:37:19 I've got to be, the same on stage as off stage. 01:37:24 The same as off camera as on camera. 01:37:27 I don't want to preach and be lost. 01:37:29 I want Christ to be in our home not just in my pulpit. 01:37:33 I don't want Him just to be in my song but in my life. 01:37:36 And we have committed whether tired or not, 01:37:38 at some nights I'm tired, Angie says let's read 01:37:40 and we're going through the Bible now 01:37:42 and it's taken on such a meaning. 01:37:43 Last night, I was, after I came back 01:37:45 from playing basketball, I said, 01:37:46 honey, let me just take a shower 01:37:48 for as soon as I'm drying off, I said, honey don't forget, 01:37:49 we got to read the second half of 2 Samuel 3 01:37:53 because we're not done yet. 01:37:54 She says, oh I'm ready. 01:37:56 And then we sat on the bed, turn our light on, 01:37:58 turn everything else off. 01:38:00 Turn the news off and just read our Bibles 01:38:01 and go to sleep 01:38:03 with the Word of God in our minds. 01:38:04 Wake up this morning, before we got out of bed, 01:38:07 honey, let's read and we have devotions 01:38:09 and God put that in my life and I say to those of you... 01:38:12 Somebody may be in a lions' den right now. 01:38:15 But God will not allow the devil 01:38:17 to devour His servants. 01:38:20 All Daniel had to be was a servant of God 01:38:22 and what has made a difference in our lives, 01:38:25 the Lord is opening doors. 01:38:27 About a few months ago, we were reading in Isaiah 60. 01:38:30 The word, the phrase double honor 01:38:32 and my wife said, oh, the Lord is gonna 01:38:34 really bless you this year, 01:38:36 but then He opened a door for her. 01:38:38 She's not a public speaker but He opened a door for her 01:38:41 to speak at a woman's prayer breakfast. 01:38:44 And she did such an amazing job and I said, honey, 01:38:46 it's not double honor for me but it's honor-honor. 01:38:50 He wants to honor both of us but we've got to be faithful. 01:38:54 And so I want to encourage you, it may be raining in your life, 01:38:57 let the rain cause you to grow. 01:39:00 But don't let the torrential rains of life 01:39:02 wash your house away. 01:39:03 Rain fall on everybody. 01:39:06 But God may want to water your life, 01:39:08 not to wash it away. 01:39:09 So I'm thankful that here we are 01:39:11 in this Thanksgiving season with a lovely wife, 01:39:14 35 years we're going on. 01:39:16 A woman who has said yes to me 01:39:19 after we celebrated our 25th anniversary 01:39:22 and we're about preparing for our 35th 01:39:25 and I said, honey, I just want to thank you 01:39:27 for one thing, for keeping me. 01:39:30 I'm covetous of that phrase, 01:39:32 and I don't use the word covetous at all, 01:39:34 but I love it when Pastor Wintley Phipps 01:39:36 said to his wife. 01:39:37 If you leave me, I'm going with you. 01:39:41 And I just want to say that today, 01:39:42 honey, wherever you go, I just want to be there 01:39:44 and we're looking forward with thanks, 01:39:46 thankful hearts to be in the kingdom together. 01:39:47 That's good. 01:39:49 You know, little flowers never worry 01:39:50 when the wind begins to blow, for if it never rained, 01:39:53 they would never, never grow. 01:39:56 Pastor John, sing us something. 01:39:58 And we just have one saying, I must say this. 01:40:00 Now our saying is, what is it honey? Give thanks. 01:40:19 Give thanks with a grateful heart 01:40:26 Give thanks to the Holy One 01:40:32 Give thanks 01:40:34 Because He's given me a lovely wife 01:40:46 Give thanks with a grateful heart 01:40:52 Give thanks to the Holy One 01:40:58 Give thanks 01:41:00 Because He's given us 01:41:04 New lives 01:41:10 And now let the weak say 01:41:16 I am strong 01:41:20 Let the poor say 01:41:23 I am rich 01:41:26 Because of what the Lord 01:41:30 Has done for us 01:41:37 And now let the weak say 01:41:42 I am strong 01:41:47 Let the poor say 01:41:49 I am rich 01:41:53 Because of what the Lord 01:41:57 Has done for us 01:42:04 We give thanks 01:42:09 Amen. 01:42:10 Well, I have to say he's the only person 01:42:13 I've ever seen in my life who can sing and cry 01:42:16 and still sound good. 01:42:17 That's true. 01:42:19 My voice starts breaking like a teenager 01:42:21 and it already has here today trying to sing. 01:42:23 He's singing like he's doing an album. 01:42:25 When he's crying, tears running down his face, 01:42:27 beautiful. 01:42:28 Thank you for that testimony. 01:42:30 I want to go back to Jay Christian right now. 01:42:33 Jay, you've been going, 01:42:34 you and Svet have been going through 01:42:36 some really life changing events. 01:42:41 I want you to talk to us about it 01:42:43 for just a little bit that 01:42:45 what you're going through right now? 01:42:49 Well, the one thing that people probably don't like to hear 01:42:53 is when the doctor says, you have incurable cancer. 01:42:57 We can't cure it. 01:42:58 We can treat it but it's not curable. 01:43:03 I've been blessed in so many different ways 01:43:06 and I can tell you that I was blessed 01:43:09 about 12 years ago when I was told 01:43:11 I was going to get this disease, 01:43:13 if I lived long enough. 01:43:15 It's multiple myeloma and it's a blood cancer, 01:43:21 it's a part of the blood cancer lymphoma, 01:43:23 leukemia and multiple myeloma. 01:43:27 It's in the... 01:43:29 They call it bone cancer, it's original bone cancer 01:43:31 not a metastasize. 01:43:33 But I had a precursor disease 01:43:35 that they discovered by accident. 01:43:36 I didn't even know it and so for 10 to 12 years, 01:43:39 they've been watching me to see when this would manifest 01:43:43 and I got the test on the day that I hit the right, 01:43:49 the right numbers, if you want to call it that for them 01:43:52 to be able to say that you officially have it. 01:43:55 We can now treat you. They can't. 01:43:56 They don't treat you for it ahead of time. 01:43:59 It's not effective. So when you officially have it. 01:44:02 So you can't get it any earlier than I got it. 01:44:06 So they started the treatment immediately. 01:44:09 And I came to a realization in this, Danny, 01:44:14 and that is that 01:44:17 when you trust the Lord, 01:44:24 the question that people ask is how can you trust God 01:44:29 because you're sick? 01:44:31 You have this disease, you're a Christian. 01:44:34 Not just in name only. 01:44:37 And, you know, I had to think about this 01:44:41 and what came to me, 01:44:43 the thought and I take no credit for this. 01:44:48 If you can't trust God when times are not good, 01:44:52 when can you trust Him? 01:44:54 That's good. That's good. 01:44:55 And what are we trusting God for? 01:44:57 I'm not going to live forever unless we, 01:45:01 unless I and hopefully many of us here are alive 01:45:04 to see Jesus come in the clouds. 01:45:06 Then we'll all be healed immediately. 01:45:10 But if that doesn't happen, 01:45:12 then there will be a day that I go to sleep 01:45:14 and we'll wait for the resurrection. 01:45:16 And I trust God to know what to do with me. 01:45:21 I trust Him to know 01:45:23 which resurrection I need to be in. 01:45:25 That's deep. 01:45:26 And so when I trust God, that's what I trust Him for. 01:45:32 I don't trust Him to heal me, He can, 01:45:35 He can touch me and it can be totally gone, 01:45:37 and I know that and I understand that. 01:45:40 On the other hand, 01:45:42 I trust my eternity to God. 01:45:47 I can tell you that I was truly blessed. 01:45:49 I was in the hospital. 01:45:52 For those watching on TV, you can see my new hairstyle. 01:45:56 For those listening on radio, there is no hair to style. 01:46:01 But I went through a bone marrow transplant, 01:46:07 and so I'm on the other end of that now. 01:46:09 We'll wait and see how effective that has been. 01:46:11 I'll know in a month or two how effective. 01:46:15 But in the mean time, 01:46:18 I've been blessed in so many ways. 01:46:20 I can look back over my life. 01:46:21 I can tell you stories that will keep you here 01:46:23 for a long time, how the Lord blessed me 01:46:25 even when I wasn't close to Him. 01:46:27 When I was mad at Him, when I shook my fist at Him, 01:46:29 when I called Him names. 01:46:31 When I didn't feel close to Him at all. 01:46:33 I can look at times in my life when the Lord blessed me. 01:46:37 And in 1992, praise God, I found Him or I was gonna say, 01:46:41 he found me but no, I found Him. 01:46:44 Because He always knew me. He always knew where I was. 01:46:48 And life is always a challenge when you're a Christian. 01:46:52 It's always going to be and I trust God to see me 01:46:57 through everything that I need to be seen through 01:47:00 and I will when I go to sleep if that happens, 01:47:03 if the Lord doesn't come first, 01:47:04 I will trust Him to know what to do with me. 01:47:08 The Lord provided... 01:47:10 I was in the hospital for three weeks 01:47:11 for the transplant 01:47:13 and I had the most wonderful caregiver there. 01:47:18 She was there for most of the time. 01:47:19 She had to come back here for camp meeting shortly 01:47:22 for a brief time but she was with me all this time. 01:47:26 She took very good care of me. 01:47:27 She made me eat when I didn't want to eat. 01:47:30 And I definitely did not want to eat, 01:47:32 and I would have lost a lot of weight 01:47:34 if she hadn't said eat which is what she did. 01:47:39 And she was there to take care of me and to do everything 01:47:41 that I needed and it was just a true blessing 01:47:44 and she's doing that now. 01:47:45 She's making juice, she's making great food, 01:47:49 healthful food for me and all of that, 01:47:51 just so many blessings of Lord. 01:47:53 I praise the Lord for that, Danny. 01:47:55 Praise the Lord. Through Christ Jesus. 01:49:58 If you've not made that decision today, 01:50:00 today is the day of salvation. 01:50:02 Brother Kenny, talk to us a moment 01:50:05 for the viewer at home and then say a prayer for us, 01:50:08 all of us. 01:50:09 It has been an emotional day, I think for all of us here. 01:50:14 It's been a day of blessings, a day of testimony, 01:50:18 and day of praise. 01:50:19 So I look at the tears 01:50:21 and wiping our nose and our eyes. 01:50:24 It's a blessing, it's a blessing. 01:50:26 What we are doing is giving God the praise, 01:50:27 the honor and the glory 01:50:29 because as you've been saying, He's been good to us. 01:50:32 I often said over the year, you know, 01:50:34 go to sleep as mentioned here. 01:50:36 So go to sleep. 01:50:37 What could you look back and say how God has been 01:50:39 good all of these years. 01:50:42 He's blessed us when we were not worthy of a blessing. 01:50:45 He's blessed us when it seems like you know, 01:50:47 we want to do our own thing but God is calling people, 01:50:51 He's calling you at home. 01:50:53 He's calling to come home, O sinner come home 01:50:57 and so the plead of our hearts here, 01:50:59 I think and our voices together as one is come to Him now. 01:51:03 This we say, Thanksgiving day 01:51:05 and we're smiling through our tears. 01:51:08 I'm happy through my tears. 01:51:10 I really am and I hear these things 01:51:12 because I see how God is working in the last day 01:51:14 people preparing our hearts 01:51:16 to give this message to the world 01:51:19 and we need to have that heart of love. 01:51:22 I read one time where it talks about that 01:51:24 unless I have the love that Jesus had for souls, 01:51:27 heaven will never be my home. 01:51:30 And that absolutely floored me. 01:51:32 You know, it's easy to pick and choose sometimes, 01:51:34 but unless I have that kind of love 01:51:35 for souls that Jesus has. 01:51:37 And I said, oh God, I need some help. 01:51:39 So today, as you're watching you might say, 01:51:41 oh, God, I need some help. 01:51:43 He's there for you. 01:51:45 He said, I'll never leave you, and I'll never forsake you. 01:51:47 So we can count on that promise. 01:51:49 I'm asking you to reach out in faith 01:51:50 and grasp that promise. 01:51:52 Say, I know, you said, you'd never leave me. 01:51:53 I need you right now like never before and remember, 01:51:56 he's always the closest to you when you need him the most. 01:52:00 You know, I sensed there many times 01:52:01 in my own life, I sensed Him there now. 01:52:03 I sensed him in the life of each one here 01:52:05 if I heard the testimonies and everyone that works here 01:52:08 has been a real treat and a real blessing. 01:52:11 So I am claiming right now that God is doing great things 01:52:15 for the viewers of 3ABN, for us here. 01:52:17 This is only the beginning of what God's going to do 01:52:20 as we open our hearts and our lives to him 01:52:23 and we're saying we're honest, we're throwing things out. 01:52:26 We are talking about death, we're talking about sickness. 01:52:28 We're talking about disease that faces us all 01:52:30 if Jesus is not gonna, if He's not coming soon. 01:52:34 But you know what? 01:52:35 Through it all, He's been good to me. 01:52:37 Through it all, He's been good to each one of us. 01:52:39 Through it all, He's been good to you at home 01:52:41 and you know, you have. 01:52:42 How about returning that praise in Thanksgiving 01:52:44 right back to Him right now. 01:52:46 So we have just a Word of prayer. 01:52:47 We're gonna pray for you. Let's praise all together. 01:52:52 Our Father which art in heaven, as we come before Thee, 01:52:55 our hearts are overflowing with joy and appreciation 01:52:59 and love for You. 01:53:01 The things that have been recounted in each of our hearts 01:53:03 and lives as many things went through our minds, 01:53:05 it's not been spoken. 01:53:08 But You've read every heart and every mind and every life. 01:53:11 You know the desires of our hearts, and, Lord, 01:53:13 you know our desire is to spend eternity with You. 01:53:17 Our desire is to be what you want us to be. 01:53:20 To be where You want us to be. 01:53:21 To say what you want us to say. 01:53:24 But we can't do that on our own. 01:53:25 We're too selfish and self-centered and, 01:53:27 Lord, we need you and so as we lift up Jesus right now 01:53:30 to these wonderful, 01:53:32 beautiful people around the world, 01:53:34 I pray right now that somebody 01:53:36 who is making decision right now. 01:53:38 I've wandered far away from you but now I'm coming home. 01:53:43 And so, Lord, as they come home right now. 01:53:45 As you wrap your arms of love around each one of them. 01:53:49 May they feel that comfort, may they feel that joy 01:53:52 in their heart that only You can give. 01:53:55 We're going to pause to give You praise again. 01:53:57 Give You honor and glory because You said I inhabit, 01:54:00 You love the people that give you praise 01:54:03 and give You honor, and we do that 01:54:04 at this point in our life again. 01:54:06 God be with each one. 01:54:08 And those who have made that decision, 01:54:10 Lord, may they reach out and touch someone else 01:54:12 and then touch someone else and someone else 01:54:14 till this work is finished. 01:54:16 And that we can go home. 01:54:17 How wonderful it would be to meet around 01:54:19 the throne of God like we're meeting right here 01:54:21 with all the 3ABN viewers and our family here? 01:54:25 One day, we can stand on that sea of glass. 01:54:27 One of these days, we can stand together. 01:54:29 What a joyful day that will be, oh God, preserve us, 01:54:31 we say and save us in Jesus' name. 01:54:33 Amen. We see people coming in. 01:56:18 Ambassador Tejano who said, 01:56:20 we're having to build new churches 01:56:21 and build them bigger because people watching 01:56:24 3ABN are filling them up. 01:56:26 And we can see this in different places 01:56:28 around the world. 01:56:29 We give God the honor, and the glory, 01:56:31 and the praise for this ministry 01:56:32 and, yes, nobody here is perfect 01:56:34 but neither you at home, 01:56:36 but God blesses us in spite of it. 01:56:37 He wants to use you to do something great 01:56:40 and mighty and marvelous. 01:56:43 All you have to do is submit and commit your life to Jesus. 01:56:46 Come to the foot of the cross 01:56:47 and then go and tell what He has done for you. 01:56:52 Thanks to each and every one of you for being here today. 01:56:55 For those of you at home, bad news on my part is, 01:56:58 until we see next time, may the Lord 01:57:01 richly bless you abundantly 01:57:02 more than you could ever ask or think. |
