00:02 I want to spend my life
00:08 Mending broken people 00:13 I want to spend my life 00:19 Removing pain 00:24 Lord, let my words 00:30 Heal a heart that hurts 00:35 I want to spend my life 00:40 Mending broken people 00:46 I want to spend my life 00:51 Mending broken people 01:08 Hello and welcome. 01:09 Thank you for joining us today. 01:11 What a beautiful fall day here in Southern Illinois. 01:14 And I have brought you to the Uplink's facility, 01:18 that's what we call it. 01:19 It's our original Three Angels Broadcasting Network. 01:22 Now, for those of you 01:24 that are watching around the world 01:26 and you say, I wonder how 3ABN started, 01:28 if you ever thought of that, 01:29 if you haven't, you're looking at it right there, 01:32 this little building right behind me 01:34 was when we first went on the air in about 1986. 01:38 We had this huge satellite dish, 01:41 almost 10 meters, nearly 30 feet 01:44 I guess in diameter. 01:45 There's one little building 01:47 and we had little bit of equipment in there, 01:49 one little switcher. 01:51 Out engineer Clarence Larson said, 01:54 "We're ready to take this thing up to satellite." 01:56 Well, we didn't know 01:58 how many satellites were up there, 01:59 but we negotiated, got on a satellite, 02:02 didn't advertise, simply when we flipped the switch, 02:06 it went to satellite, 02:07 he was able to put a little crawl 02:09 that go across the screen 02:10 and say for free offer call 1800-752-3226. 02:15 And people began to call immediately. 02:17 So we couldn't hardly hear, 02:19 there is a transmitter inside that little shack. 02:22 So I opened the door, have the phone line outside, 02:25 Three Angels Broadcasting Network. 02:27 Yes, I was watching your program 02:29 and saw the free offer. 02:30 From that day to this, 31 years later, 02:33 the phones have been busy, 02:34 constantly people calling from around the world. 02:37 What an amazing ministry 02:39 that God has allowed me to be a part of. 02:41 God has blessed this ministry in spite of me 02:43 and all the rest of us as we are frail human agents. 02:47 But I want to thank you for your love and your prayers 02:49 and financial support of 3ABN. 02:52 Thank you for joining us for anniversary, 02:54 31st anniversary of 3ABN. 02:57 And so we're going to do something 02:59 we've never done before in this capacity. 03:02 We're going to tour here to all the different facilities 03:05 all the different production centers, 03:07 our worship centre, our sound centers 03:09 and all the studios, Kids' Time network. 03:12 I mean the schools, everything, it's sure 3ABN, 03:15 so we decided, you know what? 03:17 Let's take this fall, let's take this anniversary 03:20 and just share it with all of you 03:21 from around the world. 03:23 Once again, thank you for your love, your prayers, 03:25 financial support of 3ABN. 03:27 We started here 03:29 because this is where it all started. 03:30 Literally we had the big production facility here. 03:33 My brothers and I built it with our own hands. 03:35 We didn't have the money. 03:36 We didn't have money in advance, 03:37 we started, got money for the road, 03:39 money for the footings. 03:41 Money continue to come in slow but sure. 03:44 We never ran out of money. 03:46 But I remember we used to literally buy diesel fuel, 03:49 five gallons at a time to run the dozer that we had rented. 03:53 And to built the roads 03:54 and to dig the footings in the back. 03:56 And, so the rest is history. 03:59 It has grown into a worldwide ministry, thanks to you. 04:02 And technology has changed. 04:04 They used to, can get us 04:05 through this big dishes in the yard. 04:07 People had dishes this size 12-14 foot dishes. 04:10 The only way you can get us was to receive us, 04:13 but people said, well, you can get the signal up, 04:15 you can't-- how you're going to get it to the homes. 04:17 Well, we got it into the homes through these dishes. 04:19 There were about a million, later 5 or 6 million. 04:22 But then, technology began to change, 04:24 it's still changing and it's changing rapidly. 04:27 So from that dish right there 04:29 which is the first way to get 3ABN, 04:31 now you can get us on your phone, 04:33 your iPads, you can get it on your 04:36 whether it's an android, an apple phone, 04:38 whatever you got, smart phone. 04:39 You literally can download a 3ABN app, 04:42 get all six or seven networks 24/7 anywhere in the world. 04:46 It's amazing. 04:48 You can get a little box called Roku box 04:50 or my SDA TV with all the Adventist channels. 04:53 Plug it into your literally into the internet 04:57 at your house, plug it into your television, 05:00 if you got a 50 inch screen or 70 inch screen, 05:02 watch 3ABN all the channels 05:05 and do it for under $100, I mean it's amazing. 05:08 Jesus is serious about coming back, 05:10 and He has provided technology beyond our wildest dreams. 05:14 In the last 30 years 05:15 when we started, I had no idea 05:17 where this would go before Jesus comes back 05:20 in the clouds of glory, 05:21 so I'm thankful again for you and for what you do. 05:24 And I remember coming here 05:26 and had particular story about this big dish. 05:28 And one night Rick Odle was here. 05:30 He was running master control, 05:33 and he said someone beat on the door 05:35 and banged on the door. 05:36 There was the guy that was so angry, 05:38 because he said, my mother has been watching your station, 05:41 she is changing, her life is changing, 05:44 everything is changing, her cooking is changing, 05:47 everything, and he didn't like it. 05:49 So he said, I'm going to go shut that place, 05:51 I'm gonna knock it off the air. 05:52 You know, what he did? 05:54 He drove his truck out here 05:55 and he tried to run into this big satellite dish. 05:58 He said, "I came here to try to destroy 06:01 and put you off the air, 06:03 but every time I got within 10 or 15 feet, 06:05 it's like I hit the brick wall." 06:07 So he said, "I tried it three times 06:10 and I give up, God must be protecting this place, 06:14 can you pray with me." 06:15 So Rick Odle literally prayed with him, 06:17 led him to the Lord. 06:18 And that's just one of the miracle stories, 06:20 and that's one of the early ones in the beginning. 06:22 But every now and then, 06:24 I come back out here to the Uplink, 06:25 we still use it. 06:27 We gonna go in just a moment. 06:28 We do, we'll show you some programming 06:30 from Dare to Dream. 06:32 And then we have Jay Christian in the 3ABN Radio, 06:34 so we still use the facilities. 06:36 We don't use the big dish anymore. 06:38 It's here and it's a reminder that what God starts, 06:42 He finishes. 06:43 So once again, this gonna be a great program, 06:46 call your friends, your enemies, everybody, 06:47 tell them, tune into 3ABN, 06:49 because we're gonna tour the entire facilities 06:52 of your Three Angels Broadcasting Network. 06:54 Let's go inside. 06:57 Thanks, Danny, and welcome to Studio E. 07:00 This is Studio E, but I call it the Uplink, 07:03 I can't get pass that, 07:05 because this was the very first studio 07:07 that 3ABN built. 07:09 So we gonna take you one a little tour. 07:11 Come with me. 07:14 We gonna first take you to the makeup room. 07:20 And of course, normally you don't wear a lot of makeup, 07:24 but here you have to wear some because on television 07:26 you get truly washed out if you don't wear makeup, 07:29 Tammy is working on our host Pastor John Coaxum. 07:34 Now, we're gonna go into our control room 07:36 and let you see what goes on in here. 07:40 Lots of geniuses at work in here. 07:48 This is our director Ryan St. Hillaire. 07:55 And that's our video graphics person 07:57 and he is also the director Curtis Hy and Jason Bradley, 08:01 who is my assistant with Dare to Dream/son 08:07 so he better act right. 08:11 Jay, tell us what we're doing today? 08:14 Well, God has blessed us with some tremendous programs 08:17 and today we are filming a program called Cutting Loose 08:19 which takes place on the set of a barber shop. 08:22 Come check it out. 08:25 Hi, Jeff. Jeff's our audio guy. 08:28 This is exciting, 08:29 because we're actually taping something 08:32 and you guys came in just at the right time. 08:35 We're taping a new program and it's for men only actually, 08:39 Jay tell them a little bit about it? 08:41 Well, the great thing about this program 08:43 is it takes place in the barber shop. 08:44 Now, when you go to your local barber shop, 08:47 you notice the discussion is on worldly things 08:50 from a worldly perspective, 08:52 but here on the set of Cutting Loose, 08:54 we are discussing issues from a spiritual perspective 08:57 which is so much better than what the world has to offer. 09:01 And this barbet shop actually looks very authentic. 09:06 So make sure that you tune in and check out this program 09:09 and the other programs on Dare to Dream. 09:12 Now, we're gonna take you to Jay Christian 09:14 who is the general manager of 3ABN Radio. 09:18 Thank you, Yvonne. Yes, we are at 3ABN Radio. 09:21 Right now we're in the lobby. 09:23 And if you would come into to visit, 09:25 you come in through the door over there 09:27 and this is where Nikki Anderson would sit. 09:29 She is back recording the program. 09:31 We'll see her in a couple of minutes or so. 09:33 But in the mean time, this is our reception area, 09:37 people come in to visit from here 09:38 and disperse throughout the building 09:39 wherever they need to go, 09:41 to whatever department they're going to. 09:43 But now, they are recording 09:46 and are getting ready to record a radio program. 09:49 Okay, and here we are in the recording studio now 09:52 or actually this is the control room area. 09:55 We have Angela Lomacang who is working. 09:58 And Angela is the production assistant 10:00 and she records program. 10:03 She has her own program on the radio too by the way, 10:06 Crossroads on 3ABN Radio, I'm sure you've heard it. 10:09 But she is getting ready to record a program called 10:12 Focus on Healthy Foods. 10:14 The host in the back is Nikki Anderson 10:16 and she has a couple of guests with her, 10:18 so they're preparing getting ready to record. 10:20 And we also have working for us at 3ABN Radio, 10:23 we have Mike Babb who is the engineer 10:26 and he does a lot. 10:28 Yes, engineers solder wires together 10:30 and he does that. 10:31 But he does a lot more than that. 10:33 He finds systems for us, equipment, 10:36 he repairs and he keeps it in good shape. 10:37 He works with our affiliates. 10:39 We also have Kevin Poling. 10:42 Kevin is a production assistant also 10:44 and he records programs, 10:47 he head the system for being on the air. 10:49 He also records CDs for people who want to have audio programs 10:54 of either 3ABN Radio programs or TV programs. 10:58 And for me, my responsibility is to hold everybody together, 11:01 so I have my own musical meditations program 11:04 that airs on 3ABN Radio. 11:06 And also, I am production director, 11:11 so I do a lot of production, recording and editing programs. 11:15 And on top of that, I'm general manager. 11:17 With this people it's a breeze, 11:19 it's wonderful working with them. 11:21 And now let's continue our tourist. 11:23 Let's go to Danny. Danny to you. 11:25 Well, my dad used to say time is money. 11:28 I hope you've enjoyed that little tour. 11:30 So I want you to go with me. 11:31 I'm gonna get in the truck and we're gonna head over 11:33 and see some of the other properties, 11:34 and some of the other facilities 11:36 of your Three Angels Broadcasting Network. 11:46 Okay, we're gonna head over to the rest of the facilities 11:51 and to see the ministry out on highway 149. 11:55 But before we get there, we're coming down the road, 11:58 of course to the Uplink. 11:59 And I'll never forget 12:01 when Clarence Larson and I came out one night 12:03 because in the very beginning he told me, 12:06 you know, I think you can do this. 12:09 And then one night he called me, 12:10 oh, I've made a terrible mistake. 12:12 This takes three-phase power 12:14 and there is no three-phase power 12:16 on this property. 12:17 And I'm sure there isn't because there's only 12:19 a few farmhouses, nothing industrial, 12:22 so I said, Clarence, don't worry about it. 12:24 Either, God has three-phase power there 12:27 or he's got somebody 12:28 who'll provide the finances for it. 12:30 So he said, it's 9 o'clock probably at night or later. 12:34 You mind if we go out there tonight. 12:35 So I remember driving down this road 12:38 and as we come all the way down the road, 12:41 no, no three-phase power. 12:43 Then when he turned on the road right here where we are, 12:46 and now we named this, actually it's called, 12:48 we call it Miracle Lane. 12:50 But as we drove in to this property, 12:52 his flashlight shines up 12:53 and he goes, I can't believe it, 12:55 there is three-phase power. 12:57 God had put it way in advance 13:00 and all we had to do is run it from this road back behind us 13:02 to where I just came from, the Uplink. 13:04 So this is the beginning of 3ABN. 13:07 Every step we took, I knew that God was in charge 13:10 because He was doing things we couldn't do. 13:13 So I think this lane is 13:14 appropriately named Miracle Lane. 13:19 Okay, now we are out on highway 34 13:22 and we're just getting ready to turn 13:24 into our property on Angel Lane, 13:27 appropriately named 13:28 after Three Angels Broadcasting Network. 13:31 And it's really neat, every time I drive by here 13:34 and I say look what God has brought. 13:36 And again, I just want to take this time to say thank you 13:39 for your love and your prayers 13:40 and financial support of 3ABN 13:42 for all of these years. 13:45 That's used to be a tractor supply building right here 13:49 and we ended up buying it. 13:51 Now, it says Thompsonville Christian Academy. 13:54 But right now why don't we go into the school 13:56 and visit with them for just a few minutes. 13:59 Hello I'm Norah Hartison, 14:01 this is Thompsonville Christian Academy. 14:03 We're a junior academy. 14:04 We have 11 students in our class 14:06 and we offer grades between 7 through 10. 14:09 What I really like about the school 14:11 is that you can learn to develop your musical talents 14:13 and learn more about that. 14:15 Thank you for joining us 14:16 and enjoy the rest of your tour. 14:18 Bye. 14:19 Hi, especially want to thank Miss Haney 14:21 for the tremendous job 14:22 she's doing with these young people. 14:24 I love going into school, seeing all the instruments 14:26 and the kids, not only the hard they do 14:29 and the education they're receiving, 14:31 but their spiritual education, the instruments, 14:34 playing music and the camaraderie 14:36 with this young folk. 14:37 Man, I just praise the Lord that He has given us 14:39 the school and this education system. 14:42 We'll go down and see the other school in a moment, 14:45 but right now we're gonna go visit Planned Services 14:49 and our Trust Department with Roy Hunt. 14:52 Thanks, Danny. 14:54 Earlenne and I have been here five years. 14:56 Time goes by so fast. 14:59 We're part of the Planned Giving 15:00 and Trust Services Department. 15:03 I'm the director of Planned Giving 15:04 and Trust Services. 15:06 My wife Earlenne is our trust officer 15:09 and office manager. 15:11 The Planned Giving office has a lot to do 15:13 with bringing funds into this ministry. 15:16 And over the years, 15:17 we have been a vital part of fund raising. 15:21 We have a fabulous staff of four people 15:24 and I'd like you to meet them right now. 15:26 Let us go on in here 15:28 and see if Nancy is in her office. 15:30 She may be on the phone talking with one of our clients. 15:34 No, she is actually writing-- good information down. 15:38 This is Nancy. Nancy, turn around here. 15:41 She is a bit bashful, 15:43 but if you want to talk to her on the phone, 15:45 you just call and ask for Nancy and she can help you. 15:48 She is a trust officer and her husband is Joe O'Brien 15:53 who is in our pastoral department. 15:55 And we love family here, we're all family at 3ABN. 16:00 And let's go down the hall and once you know it, 16:04 here is Earlenne. 16:06 This is where Earlenne, her office is, 16:10 her duties are of the office management 16:13 and as a trust officer. 16:15 And I always promise people 16:17 but if I wave, I'm waving at you. 16:21 Okay. Well, let's continue on down. 16:24 We do have a room that we use for seminars for camp meeting, 16:29 if people want to know more about 16:31 Planned Giving and Trust Services, 16:33 we do offer a seminar during our camp meeting time. 16:36 And who do have here? Delera Babb. 16:41 Delara, she has already waved at the camera. 16:44 She is part of our family. 16:46 She is a trust assistant 16:48 and has been here for couple of years. 16:51 Her husband is also part of radio 16:53 and part of the 3ABN family. 16:55 And we're glad to have Delera part of our team. 17:00 Okay, I believe we've got one more here. 17:04 Last but not least. Look here. 17:08 We have Dianne Hamilton and she is a trust assistant 17:13 and she works very diligently 17:15 on making sure our documents are accurate. 17:18 We appreciate Dianne in every thing that she does 17:21 and her husband is part of the family. 17:24 He is the chief financial officer of 3ABN. 17:28 And we're glad to have both of them 17:29 as part of our team. 17:31 Okay, thank you, Roy. 17:33 And now, what a great report from that. 17:35 I thank all of you who are giving and supporting. 17:38 Without you, I'm telling you, 3ABN would only be a dream. 17:42 So please to continue to support 17:44 Three Angels Broadcasting Network. 17:46 We have such beautiful facilities 17:47 here on the property. 17:49 God put us right where He wanted us to, 17:50 because the property here, I bought this, 17:53 it's about 100 and I think 110 acres, 17:57 120 acres something like that 18:02 way back in-- quite-- 18:04 I don't even know how many years ago. 18:06 But how many places can you go and such beautiful facilities 18:10 and buy property that cheaply. 18:12 Over here, we have our apartments. 18:14 This is our guest housing, 18:15 so when all of our speakers come, 18:17 our musicians and people, the teachers that come here, 18:20 they need a place to relax, 18:23 and there's not very, many hotels very close around. 18:26 So probably 15-20 years ago, we built this facility here, 18:31 so now we have all of our guest 18:33 and they can come and enjoy themselves. 18:35 And people like it better than hotels. 18:37 They say, hey, we get to, 18:39 you know, come and enjoy ourselves 18:40 and we're out nature, 18:42 they can take walks up and down. 18:43 Look at Angel Lane. 18:45 What a beautiful place that it is. 18:46 Over here in just a moment, 18:48 I will show you we have a beautiful pond. 18:49 I wonder if I can go off the road, 18:51 probably no one would care, 18:53 so we're gonna go off the road for just a minute 18:55 and drive you over here and look at out little pond. 18:59 It's a actually a little lake. 19:00 We call it a pond, 19:02 but it's just such a beautiful place to get around. 19:05 Wow, we're right out in the middle 19:06 and you're in the middle of nowhere right here, 19:08 but I enjoy myself. 19:10 I have to admit 19:11 I brought my fishing pole over here sometimes. 19:13 I haven't got to recently but what a beautiful place, 19:17 you can just come and sit down, 19:19 you can pray, you can just talk to the Lord. 19:21 And look at this behind us here, 19:23 how beautiful this is in several acres 19:25 and then we bought this facility. 19:27 We actually bought this property 19:28 70 acres or so 75 19:30 and then we purchased the other side over there, 19:33 another 28 or 30 acres, joined it together. 19:36 But this is Angel Lane, 19:38 and we're getting ready to come up to the church 19:40 and 3ABN Worship Centre. 19:43 And also I'm going back through, 19:44 we're jarring here little but because I'm just out here 19:47 and that's why I like having a four wheel drive truck. 19:49 I have probably driven a truck most of my adult life 19:53 and enjoy, so you can do things just like this. 19:56 Okay, no fishing today, we're just looking, okay. 19:59 But thank you, Lord, for a beautiful place 20:02 and the property at such an expensive prices, 20:05 and we're getting ready to come up here 20:06 on this side on the left side, 20:09 you'll see the main school facilities. 20:12 We're gonna go in and get a little tour. 20:14 I'll have somebody to tour us around. 20:16 And then we're gonna come out 20:18 and come over to the Worship Centre 20:19 into the Kids' Time set 20:22 which is directly across the street. 20:24 Let's go in and take a little tour, 20:25 you want to? 20:27 Hello, welcome to Thompsonville Christian School, 20:29 I'm Megan Karen and I'm the teacher 20:31 of the grades 1 through 6. 20:32 In our school building we have a library, 20:35 fully functional kitchen 20:37 and a gym, plus an outside playground. 20:41 Let's go into the classroom to go see the kids. 20:44 Right now we're working on a journal 20:46 and we're writing about all the things 20:48 that we can do to help others. 20:51 We have around 15 students this year 20:53 in grades 1 through 6. 20:55 We have at least two students for every grade 20:57 except for my fifth grade class which has five. 21:00 I also have a wonderful teacher today Miss Courton, 21:03 and together we tackle the day one smile at a time. 21:08 Thank you so much for joining my class today. 21:12 Everyone, do we mind saying goodbye. 21:14 Goodbye. 21:16 I love it, don't you seeing all those young people. 21:18 I've seen so many young people over the years. 21:21 Now, many of them are in ministry. 21:22 Some of them work here at 3ABN, 21:24 a number of them do and say climbing up the ladder. 21:28 We started running cameras and getting into equipment. 21:32 Now, we have people like Jonathan Babb 21:34 who you'll meet pretty soon 21:36 is literally in charge of the whole call center. 21:39 And it's really neat to see these young people get up 21:42 and then get involved in ministry. 21:44 What I'm doing is, I'm driving you 21:45 around the school right now, 21:47 because I'm taking you over here so you can see. 21:49 We have a lot of hookups. 21:50 So I think 66 for your campers and your motor homes 21:54 when you come to camp meeting. 21:56 And so we encourage you to come and spend time this spring. 21:59 I think next June we'll be doing our spring camp meeting 22:03 that you can come and enjoy yourself 22:04 and just feel like you're close to God. 22:06 We got to go into the Worship Centre. 22:09 And I think we'll start at the backend first 22:11 because I think Brenda Walsh is here taping. 22:14 We have our Kids' Time kids network studios here, 22:18 so we'll see what Brenda's got cooked up. 22:19 Then we'll go around 22:21 and we'll tour a little bit of the rest of the church. 22:24 Hi, everyone, welcome to our Kids' Time Studio. 22:27 We're here in our control room 22:29 and we're in the middle of taping Kids' Time Praise. 22:32 We have some beautiful girls that are singing right now. 22:35 They're actuall practicing a song, 22:36 getting ready to lay it down. 22:39 And we have in our studio my assistant Melissa Hoffman. 22:42 And say hi, Melissa. Hello. 22:45 And of course Brad Walker who is our Kids' Time director. 22:48 He's been with me since the beginning 22:50 and I really wouldn't want to do this program without him. 22:53 And then we have Tyler. Tyler, say hello. 22:57 And we have also Curtis over here. 23:01 And here's Steven at the audio booth. 23:03 Say hi, Steven. Hi, Samari, can you say hi? 23:25 Hi, Miss Brenda. 23:26 Samari is getting ready to sing. 23:28 She's up next and we have Summer, 23:29 she is doing her makeup for her, 23:32 and then we have two girls that are out there, 23:35 you will meet in the few minutes 23:36 that are out there, 23:37 getting ready to tape the program now. 23:39 And their parents, the Maraud Family, 23:40 so we'd like you meet them 23:42 and also we have the Roach family 23:44 which is Samari's parents. 23:46 We're really glad you come in. 23:48 You know, we couldn't do this 23:49 without the support of our parents. 23:51 And I want to tell you 23:52 how much we really do love and appreciate you, 23:54 because we really couldn't do without you. 23:56 So this is where they get ready before the program. 23:58 You can see, they can watch in here, 24:01 what's going down in the studio. 24:03 We've all our dressing rooms over there 24:04 and something I think you might like to see is Maxwell. 24:08 Has a huger wardrobe than Miss Brenda. 24:11 Look at all Maxwell's' scarves over there. 24:13 He's got about a color for everything, so he is well. 24:17 And those scarves are made with love 24:19 by our Kids' Time wardrobe designer Lucy Neuharth. 24:22 I don't know what we would do without her. 24:24 So let's take a look. 24:25 Are you ready to go inside the studio? 24:27 Let's go. 24:29 Okay, we're gonna come 24:31 right around the side curtain right here. 24:32 These are beautiful big side curtains. 24:35 It makes you feel like you're outdoors. 24:37 And here is our Kids' Time Studio. 24:39 You might see our fences over here, 24:41 that's for Bible Time, 24:43 that keeps our donkeys in their pen. 24:45 And if you come over here, 24:46 here is what Miss Brenda tapes-- 24:49 This is our Kids' Time house 24:51 and here you will see me tape Sharing Time 24:53 and you will see our dog house 24:55 for Maxwell up there and our gardens. 24:57 I'm actually taping 24:59 Sharing Time in a couple of weeks 25:00 and my chair is already there waiting for me. 25:03 Then we also have, here's our crew. 25:06 We're gonna get ready, 25:07 I think we'll just interrupt them a little bit, 25:09 so you can meet our two singers 25:10 that are here today. 25:12 And come this way. 25:14 Hi, girls can I interrupt you a second? 25:17 Oh, I want to introduce you to the folks around the world 25:20 that are watching right now. 25:22 I want to introduce. 25:23 We have Emily and we have Erica Maraud 25:25 that are here singing 25:26 and they're all the way from Michigan, 25:29 and I'm really excited that you're coming here today. 25:31 In fact, you know, they know both of my brothers 25:33 who are Michigan's. 25:35 So I wanted to say thank you so much. 25:38 Tell me, are you exited to be here in Kids' Time today? 25:40 Yes. We're so excited. 25:42 We're having so much fun. 25:44 And you've already laid down a couple of songs, haven't you? 25:46 Yes. So. 25:48 We love to sing for Jesus. Oh, don't you... 25:51 See that's what I love most of all, don't you? 25:53 I love it. 25:55 And Kids' Time would not be the same 25:56 without our one and only Dr. Calvin Taylor. 25:59 And I got to tell you Dr. Calvin, I love this man. 26:03 He is just such a precious friend of Kids' Time. 26:06 You've been playing for me 26:07 for lot of years and so many kids, 26:09 tell me what do you think about Kids' Time? 26:11 It's a wonderful ministry and people of all ages love it, 26:14 all around the world. 26:15 I think you're right, Dr. Calvin. 26:17 And they love you. And I love them. 26:19 And I got to tell you, we have some amazing kids 26:22 that came her to tape, and, now, you've played 26:25 with a lot of kids around the world? 26:27 That's right and we got more coming. 26:30 That's right, in fact this week we had some from Thailand, 26:32 they came over and taped. 26:34 Yes, so they... 26:35 That's right, it was yesterday, wasn't it? 26:36 Seems, it can be a world for me sometimes but-- 26:41 Pardon me. It's an international ministry. 26:43 Yes, it is. It reaches all over the world. 26:45 And then I just take a look around the world-- 26:47 Room here if you would. 26:49 And we got Maxwell, come her Max, 26:50 come her Max, come on. 26:52 Let me show you how I get Maxwell in place. 26:53 Max, right over here. Over here, Max. 26:56 Over here, come to this way, right over here. 26:58 Now this way. 26:59 Come on over here. Come on, right. 27:01 Okay, that's good, sit down. 27:03 Good boy. Good boy. 27:05 Let me fix your scarf for you. Yes. 27:08 There you go, isn't that a good boy? 27:11 And that's Maxwell, 27:12 and it wouldn't be the same without him. 27:14 Would it? 27:15 And then look around the room, we got our camera crew, 27:18 we have-- look at, wave camera crew, 27:20 we got you over there. 27:22 And have Donald over there, is floor directing today. 27:26 He is substituting for Larry McLucas, 27:28 he is our usual floor director. 27:30 And we have Denay on camera over here 27:33 and we have Ben back there on chair, 27:35 we've got Curtis over here, 27:37 so now you can see our big Kid's Time family 27:41 and I'm really glad that you joined us today, 27:44 I'm glad that I was able to give you 27:46 a little tour of inside 27:48 of our world here at Kid's Time. 27:49 And I want to thank you so much 27:51 for all your love and your support, 27:52 we couldn't do this without you. 27:54 Thanks so much, so, girls, are you ready to get started? 27:57 Let's check it out with the song, okay. 27:59 I'd like to have them hear just a little bit 28:01 of what you're going to sing today. 28:03 Go ahead. 28:09 On Jordan's stormy banks I stand 28:13 And cast a wishful eye 28:19 Cast a wishful eye 28:23 Well, thanks for joining us today. 28:25 I really want to thank you so much 28:27 for your love and your support. 28:28 We couldn't do it without you and thanks for joining us. 28:32 Back to you Danny. 28:33 Okay, that's exciting. 28:35 And also we're showing you a few shots 28:37 of the rest of the facility 28:39 like it was during camp meeting. 28:40 And so way hopefully you'll come next June 28:43 and join with us, 28:44 but we have great crowds have come here. 28:46 And all these drones, they are neat little machines, 28:49 they fly up and get aerial views 28:52 and it's just another piece of equipment 28:54 that makes it enjoyable when we're doing taping. 28:56 So we're getting ready to go over to, 28:58 we call our administration building, 29:00 but we also have studios there, 29:02 our facilities at 70 acres it's across the street 29:05 just down about a quarter mile, 29:07 and we're gonna go over there and take a tour there. 29:10 But right now... 29:11 Oh, this is a treat. Our perfect timing. 29:14 Look at the 3ABN, I think it's all of our trucks, 29:19 our Uplink trucks, our production trucks 29:21 coming back from series, 29:23 this maybe from Doug Batchelor's 29:24 recently back there, but literally a lot of you 29:28 probably don't understand what a huge operation this is 29:32 and how much equipment it takes 29:34 and how much production crew that it takes 29:37 to go somewhere like Lansing, Michigan 29:39 or go to the ASIs or go to the General Conference. 29:42 Well, right now, you can see all of our trucks coming in 29:45 and lot of the crew, 29:46 so what I'm gonna do is we're just gonna, 29:48 I'm gonna turn this over when they stop 29:50 and Joe will give us a tour of all the trucks 29:54 and introduce you to some of the crew 29:56 that you don't normally see. 29:58 So, Joe I'm turn it over to you. 30:01 Hello, my name is Joe Baker. And this is the 3ABN road crew. 30:06 We're almost an invisible crew 30:07 that you never see in front of the camera, 30:09 where we are always behind the camera. 30:11 But all the events that happen on the road or on location, 30:15 we are the ones who do it. 30:16 We from set up all the way to teardown 30:20 and all the pre-planning all the equipment 30:22 and things that are involved 30:24 that is all handled by the guys that you see here, 30:27 as well as a few others that come with us. 30:29 We go down the line here with all of our trucks, 30:32 and we'll start here with what we call our semi, 30:34 this is our transportation truck. 30:36 Its how we get all the equipment we need 30:39 from here to wherever we're going in the US. 30:43 This is Michael Younkin, 30:45 he is one of our truck driver's. 30:46 He's actually one of the guys 30:48 that does a lot of research for our trucks. 30:49 He keeps them all running 30:51 along with the help from the rest of the crew. 30:54 He also does-- 30:56 He's one of those guys that kind a does everything. 30:58 He does lighting, audio. 31:00 And, Michael, tell us little bit more 31:02 about what you do, and about the truck you drive. 31:05 I drive the semi truck, 31:06 and my truck is all the gear that we take, 31:09 from here lighting, audio, 31:11 anything that makes the show happen. 31:13 We taken normally pack up about a week 31:15 before we leave with all the gear that we have 31:17 and then it gets unloaded outside, set up 31:21 and then this trucks is a truck that don't-- 31:24 I think it's packed backup and to be brought home. 31:26 All right. 31:28 So I remember back in the day, 31:31 when I started about 13 years ago 31:33 we had a van and a trailer a little, 31:36 what was it, 13 foot trailer and everything went in that. 31:39 So over the years we've grown 31:42 and now, we need something this size to house, 31:46 to house everything in. 31:47 And sometimes we've been on trips 31:49 where this is completely full 31:50 and we've had to rent an additional truck to do it. 31:54 Next we have our freightliner here. 31:56 This pulls our production truck. 31:58 You guys have been used seen our production truck 32:01 all these years as one unit without a semi, 32:04 but recently we have moved that box's onto a trailer 32:08 that's now pulled by this semi. 32:11 And this semi here is a real blessing to us 32:14 because it was donated by a family 32:18 that saw our need of a semi truck 32:21 and so they got us a brand new semi 32:25 and we're just so grateful for this. 32:27 And this is Will Worf. 32:29 Will Wrof is our production truck driver. 32:32 He drove the old truck, 32:33 and now he got a CDL so he can drive this one. 32:37 And Will's been on the road a lot longer than me actually. 32:41 He was on the road just shortly after the road crew 32:44 came into being around 1998. 32:47 Will, you got here? When did you get here? 32:49 In 2000. Okay. Yeah. 32:51 In the summer of 2000 32:53 they asked for voluntaries to drive with the truck, 32:56 and so I volunteered all summer and then they hired me. 33:00 So, I've been driving ever since. 33:01 And I like the freightliner 33:04 because I can actually go the speed limit now. 33:06 With the old truck it was underpowered, 33:08 and if I had a headwind 33:09 I wouldn't get over 55 miles an hour, 33:12 with this thing I don't even notice the headwind. 33:15 So I just set the crews and drive it down the road. 33:17 Yeah. 33:19 Yeah, we can't thank you enough, 33:21 all of you who view all the programs 33:24 we do on the road and who support us. 33:26 And with your financial gifts and your prayers, 33:30 because we drive so many miles every year 33:32 and we have seen so many different things on road, 33:35 but the Lord continues to watch over us, 33:38 and protect us and through your, 33:40 your prayers and your financial support, 33:42 you know, we can continued to upgrade. 33:44 You know, what Will said is absolutely true. 33:46 We would go all in a line 33:48 at a snails pace up these hills in California 33:50 and different parts out west 33:52 because it was so under powered. 33:54 And so these are just-- These are just huge blessings. 33:57 Next we're gonna move down the line here. 33:59 This is the uplink truck. 34:01 This was my truck 34:02 up until recently the one I always drove. 34:06 This is how we get the signal 34:08 up to space and back down to you. 34:11 And this is Seth Davis. 34:13 Seth Davis is the new driver, I have moved on, 34:17 I've recently had a little baby girl 34:20 additional to my family 34:22 so they passed the torch on the Seth, 34:24 so he can do more of the driving, 34:26 spend a little more time on the road. 34:28 And, Seth, what's it's been like 34:29 getting to learn how to drive the uplink? 34:32 It's, it's been an adventure. 34:35 I've never driven anything bigger than a, 34:39 you know, van so, when I got into the truck for training 34:43 it was a whole new experience in driving 34:45 and learning to keep my lane 34:47 is extremely important in a truck this big. 34:52 Its just a lot of fun to drive, I enjoy driving all the time. 34:56 We, we enjoy being on the road, 34:58 and often we are reminded of your support 35:01 because we will pass many viewers 35:04 as we travel down the roads. 35:05 So it's not uncommon that we'll be driving along 35:07 and we hear a horn honk and a wave 35:10 and we look down and we realize that, 35:12 you know, our viewer is passing us 35:13 and it's always nice to feel that support over the miles. 35:18 Last but not least is our van. This thing is a workhorse. 35:22 You know we need all these trucks, 35:24 they are so important, but this is so vital. 35:27 This is our transportation. 35:28 This van on the road it sometimes pulls the trailer 35:32 if we have extra luggage or extra things, 35:34 it also servers as kind of a service vehicle 35:36 if we have any problems with the trucks. 35:39 Sometimes we've tires blow out, we have flats, 35:42 we have engines go down, whatever the problem may be, 35:45 this our runner. 35:47 This is how we get parts, 35:48 this is how we shuttle back and forth. 35:51 When we get to a location we start setting up. 35:54 The crew rides in this van, 35:55 this 15 passengers van from the hotel to the church. 36:00 And so this has been such a key part 36:02 of the production crew. 36:04 Terrance is one of our drivers for this van and Terrance-- 36:08 Terrance is an audio guy. He works with me. 36:10 He's one of my audio guys and he does a great job. 36:13 He's one of our workhorses. 36:15 He, he can lift more trust than the rest of us 36:18 and we call him the farm boy but he's a good strong guy 36:22 and we are really grateful for him. 36:23 And, Terrance, how long have you been on the road 36:25 and what's your favorite part about it? 36:27 Well, I've been here at 3ABN about three and a half years, 36:31 been on road crew for a year. 36:34 It's been exacting, I mean, we have our crazy movements 36:38 where we got to do stuff really quick 36:40 because we got to be ready for the live broadcast. 36:43 But it's, it's a joy to be out there 36:47 and to see the different people, 36:48 the lives that we touch 36:51 through our job and through what we do. 36:54 Like he said the production van 36:56 basically can take trailers and stuff like that. 36:59 Its big enough engine so we could pull trailers, 37:02 bear with extra luggage, 37:04 sometimes we take the flight pack 37:05 which will just take our remote gear 37:09 and stuff like that in the trailer. 37:11 So it's a, it's a joy and a blessing to be here. 37:15 Absolutely. 37:16 It's been such a privilege to work on the road crew, 37:19 and work with all these guys. 37:21 These are the guys that you just never see. 37:23 They make so much happen behind the scenes 37:26 and you just never see that part of it. 37:28 You know, you turn your TV on, we go live, 37:30 and, you know, this is, 37:32 this is what's the behind the scenes 37:33 two days of set up. 37:36 We want to take you 37:37 behind the scenes a little more. 37:39 We want to show you a little bit of our life 37:41 and what goes into a drive, 37:42 and a set up in the live production 37:45 and a teardown. 37:47 The 3ABN road crew was born in 1998 37:50 when Danny saw the need to broadcast 37:52 from different locations 37:53 other than our studios in Illinois. 37:56 A television production truck was purchased and equipped 37:59 and a first road crew was selected 38:01 and started traveling in August 1999. 38:05 Now 16 years later, 38:07 the road crew and trucks have greatly expanded 38:09 to meet the needs of production on the road. 38:12 Today the crew is traveling to Lansing, Michigan 38:15 to record and broadcast "Heroes of Our Faith" 38:17 with Doug Batchelor 38:19 a joint venture with Amazing Facts. 38:21 Hours of pre-planning and packing 38:23 have already taken place 38:24 and everything we could possibly need 38:26 has been packed up in cases and loaded on to the trucks. 38:30 Since the road crew often travels for several days 38:32 to reach the location nothing can be left behind 38:35 and careful planning is needed. 38:38 The crew includes truck drivers, 38:39 as well as camera operators and other workers 38:42 who may be traveling with the trucks. 38:44 Periodic stops are made for fuel and food, 38:47 and each night is spend at a hotel 38:49 for some much needed rest after a full day of driving. 38:54 Once the trucks arrive the crew wastes no time 38:57 unloading over 50,000 pounds of equipment and gear 39:00 needed for the broadcast. 39:02 All the equipment cases must be taken of the trucks 39:05 and wheeled into the church. 39:07 Each crew member knows their responsibility. 39:10 Trusses are hung to support speakers and lights, 39:12 the cameras and J bar are assembled 39:14 and placed in their proper positions. 39:17 Audio gear set up and mikes are tested. 39:20 Hundreds of cables are run between the church 39:22 and the production trucks to connect cameras, 39:25 projectors, audio and power. 39:27 Crew are also assigned 39:29 to shoot footage of the location, 39:30 so behind the scene videos and promos can be made. 39:34 It normally takes the crew to two full days of set up 39:37 in order to be ready for a live broadcast. 39:40 Opening night it's always exacting, 39:42 with its mixture of anticipation and tension 39:44 as the talent and crew prepare for the broadcast. 39:49 Most road events consist of six 39:50 or more crew members in the building 39:52 and five in the production truck. 39:55 Three camera operators who run the cameras, 39:58 and a jib operator works 40:00 the large camera crane in the back. 40:03 A house audio engineer runs the board 40:05 for sound inside the church, 40:07 and a stage hand helps make sure 40:09 everyone goes out on stage with the right time, 40:12 with their correct mikes. 40:14 Inside the back of the production truck, 40:16 a video operator make sure the program is been recorded 40:19 and the colors match on all the cameras. 40:22 In the middle of the truck the sound engineer 40:24 mixes a separate broadcast mix for television 40:27 and rolls any tracks needed for music 40:29 while he adjust the sound. 40:32 The director sits in the front of the truck 40:34 and calls for the different shots 40:35 through the intercom. 40:37 Once the shot is ready, he switches between cameras 40:40 to make the program that goes on the air. 40:43 The video graphics person is in charge of making sure 40:45 all the graphics are ready, 40:47 including the names of each person speaking, 40:49 in other graphics they may use. 40:52 Just behind them the producer is the person 40:54 who oversees the program and making quick decisions 40:57 when something goes wrong. 41:00 3ABN's road crew has become friends 41:02 with many of the speakers and musicians you know well. 41:04 Hi, friends, this is Doug Batchelor 41:06 and I just want to tell you, it is been a real thrill 41:08 over the years to be working with 3ABN road crew. 41:11 They are the greatest team 41:13 that we had a lot of fun in the process. 41:15 Very professional when we go upfront 41:17 but we really enjoy each others company 41:19 behind the scenes. 41:20 You know, its really been wonderful 41:22 and its just been a thrill for us here at Lansing, 41:24 and to have a so many folks from the community come. 41:28 It's been a real blessing. 41:29 We have lot of flocks 41:30 that are interested in the church now 41:32 so we appreciate the ministry of Amazing Facts 41:34 and 3ABN's has been, just been amazing. 41:37 So we really appreciate you guys. 41:39 Our production department includes their valuable input 41:42 when they plan any production. 41:43 Since we set up all major events 41:45 like, ASI and GYC conventions, 41:48 and other large productions help far from home. 41:52 Some of the road crew also travels to other countries 41:54 for live events and other 3ABN programming. 41:58 Each crew member is dedicated and wears many hats. 42:02 Since we travel thousands of miles each year, 42:05 we often see God's hand over us as we drive down the highways 42:09 and we are thankful for God's protection 42:11 and a chance to work for Him on the frontlines 42:14 spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. 42:31 As you can see, we have a lot of fun 42:33 behind the scenes and on the road crew. 42:35 And I'm gland you got to come along 42:36 and see a little bit of what we do. 42:38 Thank you so much for your prayers 42:40 and your support of the road crew, 42:42 and now we'll go back to Danny and the rest of the tour. 42:45 All right. Thank you so much. That's kind of a neat. 42:48 We thought it would be nice for you to see, 42:50 get as much as you can see of our facility, 42:52 some of you have never been able to come here 42:54 for whatever reasons. 42:56 So we're kind of bringing 3ABN to you today 42:58 and behind the scenes. 43:00 Now we're up on Highway 149, I'm getting head over 43:03 to our administration facilities. 43:05 We moved in there around '95 from the uplink, 43:09 and 149 right here if I go straight, 43:12 takes you right to my little hometown 43:13 of West Frankfort, Illinois, which I'm still partial too. 43:17 I've traveled around the world 43:18 but no place like home as they say, 43:20 and I love being out in a country like this. 43:23 3ABN a lot of flock say we're out in a middle of nowhere 43:27 but, you know what, I kind a enjoy it 43:29 and I get to meet people everywhere. 43:30 But sometimes you can just get back, take walks, 43:33 and enjoy not a lot of people around at certain times 43:36 and so this is one of those times 43:38 it is just fun to get out 43:40 and you can pull your wheel around here, 43:41 you can ride horses around here. 43:43 You can-- it's a really nice area to live in. 43:46 But right now where going up 43:48 gonna turn into our main facilities 43:51 and so its our administrational facilities we built here 43:54 and I think it was about 1995, I have to ask Mollie for sure, 43:58 Mollie knows everything. 44:00 What a beautiful little driveway. 44:02 Now this was simply bare property, 44:04 it had been a farming-- 44:06 I don't know what they had corn or whatever the year before 44:09 but we were able to buy this 44:11 and instantly we started building road. 44:14 My brother Ronnie he got a road grader 44:17 and so we hired some people to come in too 44:20 and the next day after we closed on the property, 44:22 we started building. 44:24 No building construction for meds, 44:25 you didn't have to do any kind of zoning. 44:27 It's just what I love about being out here 44:29 in the middle of nowhere. 44:31 So we built this facility 44:32 and then we planned it all of these, 44:34 these trees around and try to make it look fairly nice, 44:37 built a little pond out front. 44:38 This is about 44:40 I think its 35,000 square foot facility. 44:43 Some parts of it are two storey. 44:45 We have two studios in here, we have studio A, 44:48 where you see the Today program and cooking programs, 44:51 I think we even have Dare to Dream. 44:53 In studio B we will be looking that also. 44:56 You see Cheri Peters set. 44:58 The exercise sets, our green screens, 45:00 it's a big facility. 45:02 The one we just came from 45:04 is about 40,000 plus square feet 45:07 where the, where the sanctuary is 45:10 and our facility there. 45:11 So I'm pulling around to the back 45:13 it's my office park back here, 45:16 and we're gonna go in and get a tour. 45:19 And I'm gonna have Greg and Jill Marconi great people, 45:23 give you a good tour around this place, 45:25 then when they are through 45:26 we're gonna take you over the call centre, 45:28 because all of this shipping and receiving 45:30 going on back and forth 45:32 and all you that's joined the blessing on the go, 45:34 I appreciate you doing that. 45:35 Hope you continue to do it for a monthly gift of any size. 45:39 When you send to us, 45:41 each month we'll send you an evangelistic tool, 45:43 and those have you that been getting it, 45:45 may be CDs, music, might be preaching, 45:49 any number of things it could be 45:50 but it's a tool every month for you to use 45:52 as a witnessing tool to tell your neighbor's 45:55 about Jesus Christ and His soon coming. 45:58 So, we're gonna go in 46:00 and Greg and Jill is gonna tour you, 46:01 then right after that 46:03 we're gonna go over to the call centre 46:04 and I think even to the sound centre, 46:06 and if we feel like we will just go somewhere else. 46:09 Thank you, Danny. 46:11 Wow, what a beautiful day to have a tour with 46:13 out and about beautiful sunshine, 46:15 nice blue skies, the fall colors and the trees. 46:18 This is the main building of 3ABN. 46:19 So if you'll come to 3ABN we have the main entrance, 46:22 you would walk into these doors, 46:23 and you would come to our receptionist. 46:25 And you'll be greeted by Mary right here in the front desk. 46:28 She's a tremendous blessing to us here at 3ABN. 46:30 Not only does she greet when you come on the tour, 46:32 you come to visit 3ABN, she answers the phone. 46:36 She would be our main switchboard operator 46:38 and then she would transfer your call 46:39 depending on if had prayer needs, 46:41 if you wanted to talk to someone in the call centre. 46:42 That's true. 46:44 She would handle all those needs here. 46:45 Yeah, let's get going on a tour, 46:47 this is gonna be a lot of fun, 46:48 because you're gonna see some of the studios, controls rooms. 46:49 We're gonna go down to the west wing 46:51 here in just a moment. 46:52 But as you come in the main entrance 46:53 here at 3ABN, on our wall are some pictures, 46:56 and we don't want to lift up people 46:58 but these are board members 46:59 that have fallen asleep in Jesus. 47:01 And we have Elder Owen Troy, 47:03 who was with us from many years on the 3ABN board. 47:06 His daughter Carmelita Troy is our board member now. 47:09 And them we have May Chung, and she served for years 47:12 here on the 3ABN board. 47:14 Next to her is Merlin Farley, 47:16 he feel asleep in Jesus very recently here. 47:19 And his son is our current board chair. 47:22 He's the-- Bruce Farley 47:24 is the chair of 3ABN's board right now. 47:26 Then we have a Pam Rhodes, 47:28 who is next to our Merlin Farley. 47:30 She had an incredible singing voice. 47:32 Oh, absolutely. 47:33 Her husband Jimmy Rhodes a great partner with 3ABN, 47:36 both of them-- 47:38 very sad to lose her, not long ago actually. 47:40 But anyway let's go down 47:42 what we call the West Wing of the 3ABN. 47:44 And why we'd call it the West Wing? 47:45 I have no idea. It faces west. 47:48 Well, I think that's probably right. 47:49 This wing kind of goes on a west side I think so. 47:51 If we step in just to our right here it say's, 47:53 the sign above the door say's production office. 47:56 Yeah. That's true. 47:57 This is right here production office 47:59 but there's a lot of different things that take place here. 48:01 Now, it's kind of special to you actually. 48:03 This is my desk right here. 48:05 And so if I talked to you on the phone, 48:07 it would be right from here at my desk. 48:10 But there's four of us who are in the office. 48:12 Here we have Dee Hildebrand. 48:14 That's right, and she's very important. 48:15 I work with her since I'm in production a lot. 48:17 She does a lot with her scheduling 48:19 and many hats that Dee Hildebrand wears. 48:21 But we were closer together and I enjoy working with Dee. 48:24 And here counter part in 3ABN Latino 48:26 will be Sonia Rodriguez. 48:28 And Sonia schedules 48:29 and does production coordinating for Latino 48:31 and then Summer Boyd works over here as well. 48:33 Yeah, and that's her desk here 48:34 and you may see her name on the credits. 48:36 She runs our jibs, 48:37 she does a lot of coordinating for production as well. 48:39 Sends out some carbon copies, runs camera for us, 48:42 she's multitalented as well. 48:44 Well let's go over cross and see 48:46 who is across the hall so let's hear. 48:48 Oh, good Pastor Johnny. 48:51 Boy, I tell, just hoping to see you, 48:53 and here you're walking out of your office. 48:54 Now Pastor Johnny is Latino general manager. 48:58 And you have been at 3ABN's since almost the beginning? 49:02 Well not quite-- 49:04 well little bit 1989, November 1989 49:07 so in about two or three weeks will be 26 years. 49:10 Yeah, 26 years that's a long time. 49:12 That is along time. 49:13 You started in pastoral 49:14 and then a beautiful Puerto Rican woman 49:17 came to join you. 49:18 I'm specking of Sister Idalia Dinzey, 49:21 and you have two sons as well. 49:23 Yes, we have two sons. Samuel he's 19, Caleb he is 15. 49:28 And the Lord has blessed us with two beautiful children. 49:31 When you think about it basically, you spent 49:32 most of your life here at 3ABN. 49:35 The reason I call him Pastor Johnny 49:36 is because when I first came to 3ABN 49:38 he was in the pastoral department 49:39 and of course he speaks frequently 49:41 at different churches 49:42 and of course the Thompsonville Church 49:44 I remember back in the days especially quite a bit. 49:45 Now I appreciate him and his family a lot. 49:47 But tell us what's going on in Latino department? 49:50 Well, a lots going on. 49:51 We thank the Lord because just as we end the year 49:56 well, the Lord has blessed us. 49:58 We are in about 1,300 cable companies over that. 50:01 And we are blessed with about over 120 local TV stations 50:08 they are in the US, Mexico, and Puerto Rico 50:12 and that means millions of people 50:14 can watch 3ABN Latino over 1,300 cable companies, 50:18 over 120 TV stations. 50:21 And the Lord is doing great things. 50:23 Lives are being transformed 50:24 and we just, praise the Lord for that. 50:27 And many prayer supports, many prayer supports. 50:29 We are also on some streaming services 50:32 such as Roku, and there are two others 50:36 that I don't recall the names right now, 50:38 but they wanted to have 3ABN Latino as well 50:41 and so we praise the Lord for these avenues 50:44 where we can reach people with the everlasting gospel. 50:47 Now in the Latino department, now your staff, 50:49 tell me how many staff members you have 50:50 in your Latino department 50:52 and how many years again is 3ABN Latino? 50:53 How old is 3ABN Latino? 3ABN Latino is 12 years old. 50:57 Incredible. 50:58 And for me to remember the staff I usually-- 51:00 I'm sorry. I put you on the spot. 51:02 I usually go through the offices in my mind. 51:05 So next to my end is Jorge Jaque, 51:07 he is our production manager. 51:08 Okay. 51:09 He's sharing office with Irma Murray, 51:11 Pastor C.A. Murray's wife 51:13 which of course they have seen on 3ABN, 51:15 and she is our production assistance, 51:17 is a producer also. 51:19 Is like a cable marketing representative 51:21 and also does some creative work with the sets. 51:25 She does design some sets and even gone into panting, 51:29 so we just praise the Lord for the talented ability 51:32 she has to even decorate sets. 51:34 We also moving across from my office 51:36 is Sister Sonia Rodriguez, she helps in production. 51:40 And moving down the hallway Luis Capote 51:44 and we have John Ramirez 51:46 and we also have Alex Sanchez Alejandro 51:50 he comes from Alejandro. 51:52 He is our supervisor for the editors, 51:54 and they work together to try to keep the programs edited 51:59 and nice quality of programs on the air. 52:01 My wife Idalia. 52:02 She is administrative assistant 52:04 also helps to edit our Spanish magazine Hoy 52:10 and we just praise the Lord for the work she's able to do, 52:15 she's also producer for the Hoy program 52:18 and also hosts some programs. 52:21 In pastoral even though 52:22 he's part of the pastoral department, 52:24 we try to claim him as one of ours for 3ABN Latino, 52:26 Dr. Senez Rodriguez and we also count on help 52:30 from Moses Primo, for Portuguese 52:33 and we go to the call centre and we have there Rocio Barron 52:38 and so she is our call centre representative. 52:41 We do need more help 52:42 so some of us are answer the phone 52:45 when we are available. 52:46 When we are in Puerto Rico my in laws volunteer, Freddy 52:48 and my mother-in-law Idalia. 52:51 And we go to Guatemala 52:52 and we have some volunteers there. 52:53 We have Boris and Manuel and Alvaro 52:56 but we also praise the Lord because, 52:59 all of the different departments help 3ABN Latino. 53:01 We would not be able to do productions 53:03 without the production. 53:04 It's a team effort isn't it? 53:06 It's a team effort. Definitely. 53:07 Well, I know you're busy man, 53:08 I know you're heading out of your office. 53:10 So Lord be with you, pastor. Thank you. 53:11 Thank you, Pastor Johnny. 53:12 We continue on down the West Wing, 53:14 we're talking about Jorge Jaque, 53:15 and Irma's office here to our left. 53:17 Now this is little kitchen, we'll tell you this briefly 53:19 this is where some of us eat our lunch. 53:22 And that's always a lot of fun 53:23 and I have to say Dave Turner's corn, 53:26 sometimes in a summer time Dave Turner is our neighbor 53:29 he works at 3ABN in the carpenter shop 53:31 but sometimes he brings us he's garden corn. 53:33 He has the best corn, 53:34 the best homegrown garden tomatoes. 53:37 Oh, yeah. 53:38 Now coming out of the West Wing kitchen, 53:39 we go down this West Wing hallway 53:41 and the next office is Mr. Danny Shelton. 53:43 Now I know he has just given you a tour around 53:45 so let's see actually if he's here. 53:47 Not sure if he is in his office. 53:49 Now oh, I here him-- 53:50 Now, Danny's he's here. He's actually here. 53:51 He made it from his truck all the way into the office. 53:54 He is a busy man. 53:56 How you doing Mr. Danny? Good surprise. 53:58 It's good to see you too. Good. Good. 54:02 This office to me is the hub 54:03 of everything that takes place here at 3ABN. 54:06 It's a very important office 54:07 and the man sitting behind this desk 54:09 is a man of God, a man of faith, 54:12 and a man of wisdom. 54:13 And, Mr. Danny, we just thank you for walking out 54:17 what God put in your heart all those 31 years ago. 54:20 I couldn't do it without people like you 54:22 and of course those folks at home. 54:24 I am in here now, I was outside 54:25 and you noticed I'm back in the office but-- 54:27 He doest stop. 54:29 I'm gonna interrupt you real quick. 54:30 He doest stop, this man is busy. 54:32 He works late, he even sends me emails 54:34 sometimes early in the morning. 54:35 Can I say? 54:37 I'm fast asleep, 54:38 and he's up sending emails but this man works-- 54:40 Like three in the morning or-- 54:42 But he works hard for the cause of God. 54:43 You know he doest do it for accolades or glory 54:46 but he does it because the work needs to be done. 54:48 We're in here and we're singing agreements. 54:49 This is like charitable gifts annuities. 54:51 We wanted to thank those of you 54:53 who call our wills and trusts department. 54:56 And what do we call that department? 54:58 Plan giving. 54:59 Plan giving, that sounds more I started years ago, 55:02 and just wills and trusts. 55:03 Plan giving sounds more formal, so you call that. 55:06 Thank you for what you do for there. 55:07 We're also have singed 40 or 50 just a day 55:10 of the Blessing Is on the "Go!" certificates. 55:12 Fantastic.
