many of the major artists,

the thought leaders,

question has to come, why.

trying to make hip hop

and the greatest enemy
in the world or something?

Why has there been
so much focus on hip hop

and looking back at all
of these biblical principles?

What's the reason?

I mean, the reason is simple.

There's a war going on.

And God has a
plan for this world.

When we looked a while back

at the original creation
of man in Genesis Chapter 1

and we're going to
consider verses 26 and 27,

we understand
that God created man.

And it says specifically
that He created man in His image
00:02:55.40\00:02:59.47
after his likeness.

So God created man perfect.

There was no sin.
00:03:04.25\00:03:05.58
There was no death.
There was no sickness.

There was no heartache.

There was no controversy
of any kind on the earth.

Man was made perfect.

But something happened.

In Genesis Chapter three,

we're introduced to the serpent.

And we see that the
serpent was able to deceive Eve

into indulging in
the lust of the flesh,

the lust of the eyes and
the pride of life and eat,

she ate the fruit from the
tree that God commanded not to--

for man not to eat.
00:03:32.21\00:03:34.21
When she did that
she committed sin.

We know in 1 John
3:4, there it says,

"sin is the
transgression of the law."

God commanded that
it should not be eaten.

They broke God's law,
God's command if you will.

When this took
place, she then went,

the Bible says
that she gave to Adam

and he took and ate.

Adam at this
point had not sinned.

Adam was the, although
God created male and female,

God created man first

and so man essentially was

and as the Bible puts it in
the Gospel of John I believe,

in the Gospel of Luke,

when he goes through
the lineage of Christ.

It show-- it calls
Adam the son of God.

That's right.

So Adam was the Son of God
and from Adam God made Eve.

And so when Eve sinned,

decision to make,

he was going to go

that he had to his wife

or take a stand on principle
and obey the word of God

and let God judge and determine

what's going to
happen to his dear wife.

We know the story,
we know that Adam took,

and the Bible
says, "And he did eat."

When he ate, sin
came upon this world.
00:04:53.69\00:04:57.26
Sin came upon every
aspect of this world,
00:04:57.29\00:04:59.59
whether it be the environment
or the animal creation,
00:04:59.63\00:05:02.76
or the human species.

Everything was tainted
now by sin and as God said,

"In the day that
thou eatest thereof,

thou shall surely die."

The lie I was given
that Satan said that,

"Thou shall not
surely die, for God doth know
00:05:14.64\00:05:17.31
that when you eat
thereof, you shall be as gods,
00:05:17.35\00:05:19.25
knowing good and evil."
00:05:19.28\00:05:20.95
And so there was some idea
that was injected by Satan.

Number one, a lie

and number two, he
gave the impression

that if men were to sin,

they would
somehow be better off.

They would somehow achieve
a higher plane of existence

by going against the
express command of God.

So we know that
according to the Bible that

"All have sinned," Romans 3:23,

"and fall short
of the glory of God."

We know in Roman 6 that
"The wages of sin is death."
00:05:44.64\00:05:48.28
But then it says,
"But" in Roman 6:23.
00:05:48.31\00:05:50.71
It says, "But the
gift of God is eternal life
00:05:50.75\00:05:54.45
through Jesus Christ our Lord."
00:05:54.48\00:05:56.25
So when we go back to Genesis 3,

we see almost
immediately in verse 15,

when God comes to
investigate what has taken place

and He's calling
and looking for Adam,

Adam has to admit
that he was afraid.

He was afraid
of his creator now.

There had been a separation.

When we looked at Isaiah 59:1-2,

we saw that sin
created separation

between man and his Creator.

So now because Adam sinned,
he was separated from God

and so when God comes to visit,

as they had become
acquainted to visit

and spend this time together,

now Adam was running.

Eve was running. They
were hiding themselves.

And the answer
that Adam gave to God

He said I was hiding
because I was naked and afraid.

And for some reason,

when man sinned,

covering that God gave him.

found himself to be naked.

The Bible talks about
the shame of nakedness,

for example, in and
of Revelation Chapter 3.

So man sinned and there
was an immediate consequence,

an immediate,
immediate evidence was presented

that man had sinned.

He was stripped of that

which God originally
created in him and with him.

of the presence of God

this image of God in man
had now been disrupted by sin.

when judgments begin

God gives the invitation

the promise of a Redeemer,
the promise of a Savior,

God had a solution

for the sin or problem,

and although man
now that he sinned,

will begin to
degrade environment,

the whole entire earth
is going-- beginning to fall

under the pressure
of sin, man will die.

But God has made provision

so that man might live

if he chooses to do so by faith.

And we know that
famous verse in John 3:16

that highlights the
fact that God sent His son,

And Jesus now is
the word made flesh.

Jesus is the monogenes,
as I said the only begotten,

one of the same kind,

He now is the Son of God

that is coming and
putting on human flesh

to live a life of overcoming

from that point forward.

Man was in need of a
Savior and God made provision

So the question that comes now,

that deceived the woman,

provision by the Redeemer

which is Jesus Christ

and yet, the question still--
it still begs the question why.

talking about hip hop culture

engaged in a warfare.

There is a battle going on over
every individual human mind.

And the question is worship.

Who are you going to worship?

Are you going to
accept the invitation

that God is giving

or you going to reject it
and choose to follow Satan?

Are you going to
become a servant of God

or a servant of the enemy?

Are you going to live according
to the hope that is within us

or you going to live a life

that is reflective of
the God that you serve

or are you going to
suffer the consequences

of living a life of the God who,

you know, "God of this world,"

in Satan and suffer the results
and the consequences of that.

So the question
that I asked you is why?

What happened?

How did-- where did this begin

and how did the
earth get involved,

aside from the things
that we've read thus far,

what are we dealing with?

What are we living--

at what situation are
we living in right now

if we call it a war?

How does that all
work and what is that--

what decisions is
that leave us to make?

Well, I think if
anybody is sensible,

it leaves one
decision, which is to survive,

Well, in Revelation
12 the Bible shows us.

It was in
Revelation the 12th Chapter,

that it kind of
speaks to several points

And a little bit more in fact,

Revelation the 12th Chapter

here's what the Bible says.

And this is important because
we're going to take a look now

at Bible prophecy and kind of
tie everything back in together

to give strong foundation,

the foundation earlier,

but to just continue to
strengthen their foundation

through these
prophetic utterances.

The Bible says
in Revelation 12:7,

"And there was war in heaven.

Michael and his angels
fought against the dragon.

And the dragon fought
00:10:58.39\00:10:59.72
and his angels
and prevailed not.

Neither was their place
found any more in heaven.

And the great
dragon was cast out

that old serpent
called The Devil and Satan

which deceived the whole world.

He was cast out into the earth.

And his angels
were cast out with him."

So the Bible makes it
clear that there was a war

between Michael and the dragon.

where the Bible tells us clearly

that the dragon is
none other than Satan.

But when you look at you know,
verse 7 when it says, Michael,

sometimes people think
well, that's just another angel

because of other
texts of Scripture

you read in the book of Judah.

It talks about
Michael the archangel.

And when you
think of an archangel,

a lot of times what
people don't know is that

arch means ruler in the
Greeks or arch ruler, angel.
00:11:38.59\00:11:42.26
So he's-- Michael is actually
the ruler of the angels.

He's not just another angel.

He's the one that
rules over the angels.

When you think about that
connecting it with Hebrews 1:6,

speaking of Jesus, it says,

let all the angels
bow down and worship him.

So the angels was
bowing down to their ruler,

which was none other than Jesus.

In fact, the word Michael,

Mike in the Hebrew means
one who is like El, means God.

So when you think of Michael,

you're thinking one
who is just like God.

And as you stated in monogenes
in John 3:16 the word begotten,

it actually mean is
the only one like me.

So Christ is that
one that is like God.

So this is none other than a war

that was between
Christ and Satan.

Satan lost this
battle. He was kicked out.

But the Bible says that he
landed somewhere in verse 12.

In verse 12 it says,
"Therefore rejoice ye heavens,

and ye that dwell in them.

Woe to the inhabitants
of the earth and of the sea.

For the devil is come down
into you, having great wrath,

because he knows that
he has but a short time."

It is one thing
to be in a fight.

It is another
thing to be in a fight

and your really wondering
why am I in this fight.

You know, I
remember going to school

and there would be times
that a fight would get started.

And I'm thinking to myself,

"Why did you hit me"
Why did you fight me?

I didn't even do
anything to you."

You know, you feel innocent.

You feel like "Why
are you coming after me?

Well, here it is, the Bible's
talking about a real story,

a story that is still
being played out today.

The dragon was
cast out from heaven.

He lost that battle.

But the war
continues now on earth.

And the war is still
between Christ and Satan.

But you and I and humanity
has fallen in the middle,

because God has made a decision
to do something special.

He wanted to save us,
as you stated in Genesis 3.

So when you think about
Satan attacking God's people,

the question really is why.

We didn't go around one day
saying I want to fight Satan.

Nobody said that.

But yet, he's
still attacking us.

And the question is why.

And the answer is very simple.

In Revelation 12, the war
was between Christ and Satan.

That's who the war was against.

So Satan wanted to hurt God.

He couldn't any further

once he got removed
from heaven directly.

So now he does something else.

such pain staking effort
