So the key thing that God

There are some
things in the Bible

But then there are many things

in our society today

have addressed in detail

Nehemiah sees a
whole bunch of his brethren

that were breaking the Sabbath,

they were
breaking the Sabbath day.

They were profaning it,

and when they were doing
this by buying and selling

and conducting business
as any other regular day,

he came to them and he
said something very specific.

And I'm just going to give you
one example when we talk about,

of evil or what have you."

consider the verse.

men of Tyre also therein,

and all manner of ware,

and sold on the Sabbath
unto the children of Judah,

and in Jerusalem.

Then I contended
with the nobles of Judah,

"'What evil thing

The Bible makes it

not to be done,

profane the Sabbath

and it is called an evil thing.

So if somebody
says, "I want to go ahead

and do a certain recreation."

Well, we have to test it
according to the Word of God

some things we can do

in the name of
recreation that are good

but may not be
designated as an example here,

on God's Sabbath
day, and if we did it,

it would definitely be something

that the Bible would say

the hip-hop culture,

biggest night for a party,

a club, or a

So the Sabbath

interesting thing to think

that if somebody wanted
to go to a party, or club,

in and of itself has
to be tested by scripture,

and do these forms of recreation

This will be one application
out of literally hundreds.

So what we have to do is
literally study the Bible

Because there's a
lot of people right now

that do a lot of
things on a Friday night

and they think it's okay
in a simple safe enjoyment

but God says it is an evil thing

because you are
profaning my Sabbath,

and it can be
applied in many other ways.

So we have to be very careful

that whatever
recreational activity

you're going to get involved in,

you have to prove
it, you have to test it.

they were doing that.

being a big confrontation

point they were like,

with massive amounts
of stuff from the house.

And the owner of the house was,

And she's trying to
get her invited guests

to, kind of, vouch

showdown in front of the house.

We had one individual

so he could communicate,
