Hello, my name is Lance. 00:00:30.93\00:00:32.29 And I'm Dwayne. 00:00:32.33\00:00:33.66 And welcome to another episode of TKS, 00:00:33.70\00:00:36.26 a True Knowledge of Self, 00:00:36.30\00:00:37.97 where we get to know ourselves from a biblical perspective. 00:00:38.00\00:00:41.60 Lance, when we were in our last session, 00:00:41.64\00:00:44.31 we were talking real strong about very foundational things 00:00:44.34\00:00:48.41 as it relates to hip-hop culture. 00:00:48.44\00:00:50.15 Which I think was really important 00:00:50.18\00:00:51.51 because a lot of times people can talk about a subject, 00:00:51.55\00:00:54.65 but they have not properly defined it 00:00:54.68\00:00:56.38 and explain what it is and break it down, 00:00:56.42\00:00:58.85 so I think it was really good. 00:00:58.89\00:01:00.62 However I think it would be good 00:01:00.66\00:01:02.32 to reiterate certain points on it 00:01:02.36\00:01:03.93 because we were establishing the fact that number one, 00:01:03.96\00:01:07.20 when somebody thinks about hip-hop, 00:01:07.23\00:01:10.00 a lot of different thoughts can come to a person's mind 00:01:10.03\00:01:12.17 as it relates to dress, music, 00:01:12.20\00:01:14.80 the way a person talks etcetera. 00:01:14.84\00:01:16.50 So we wanted to make sure that hip-hop was not limited 00:01:16.54\00:01:19.87 as some individuals do 00:01:19.91\00:01:21.44 when it comes to our understanding of what it is. 00:01:21.48\00:01:23.14 So this way you were helping us to see that 00:01:23.18\00:01:26.38 it was actually an entire culture, 00:01:26.41\00:01:29.12 an entire culture, go ahead. 00:01:29.15\00:01:30.55 So, yeah, I mean, when people think of hip-hop, 00:01:30.59\00:01:33.02 they think it's just a musical genre. 00:01:33.05\00:01:34.39 Right. 00:01:34.42\00:01:35.76 And that's not really what it is. 00:01:35.79\00:01:37.13 It does, you know, music is part of hip-hop 00:01:37.16\00:01:40.16 but just like any other culture, 00:01:40.20\00:01:41.73 like if we thought of Italian culture or, 00:01:41.76\00:01:44.80 you know, Ethiopian culture... 00:01:44.83\00:01:46.67 African culture. 00:01:46.70\00:01:48.04 Yeah, whatever, we think of not just music. 00:01:48.07\00:01:50.81 We think of the way they dress, 00:01:50.84\00:01:52.27 the way they, you know, their hairstyle, 00:01:52.31\00:01:54.44 the way they talk, 00:01:54.48\00:01:55.81 language, all these things, so hip-hop is the same. 00:01:55.84\00:01:59.61 So those basic principles 00:01:59.65\00:02:02.78 if you will what was referred to by KRS-One 00:02:02.82\00:02:05.22 as the cornerstones of hip-hop culture, 00:02:05.25\00:02:08.22 which were peace, love, unity, 00:02:08.26\00:02:11.36 you know, and safely having fun, right? 00:02:11.39\00:02:14.10 And then those pretty much are expressed 00:02:14.13\00:02:17.63 through those elements that we talked about. 00:02:17.67\00:02:20.44 So that's the emceeing, the deejaying, 00:02:20.47\00:02:23.34 the graffiti writing, the break dancing, 00:02:23.37\00:02:26.31 the street language, the street fashion, 00:02:26.34\00:02:30.15 street entrepreneurialism 00:02:30.18\00:02:31.88 and ultimately the most important element 00:02:31.91\00:02:34.25 was referred to many times as the fifth element 00:02:34.28\00:02:36.48 because those basic four, the emceeing, deejaying, 00:02:36.52\00:02:38.99 beatboxing, break dancing and graffiti writing 00:02:39.02\00:02:42.49 are the kind of primary four elements. 00:02:42.52\00:02:44.76 The fifth element 00:02:44.79\00:02:46.13 which is most oftenly referred to as knowledge, 00:02:46.16\00:02:48.96 wisdom and understanding 00:02:49.00\00:02:50.60 or sometimes some little wordplay over standing. 00:02:50.63\00:02:53.30 So there is a call in hip-hop culture 00:02:53.34\00:02:58.37 through most of these thought leaders 00:02:58.41\00:02:59.94 and idea logs inside the culture 00:02:59.97\00:03:03.68 that there is a need 00:03:03.71\00:03:05.38 to get back to the knowledge side, 00:03:05.41\00:03:08.65 the thing that's been for God. 00:03:08.68\00:03:10.49 There's been a lot of emphasis on the rap music. 00:03:10.52\00:03:12.92 There's been a lot of emphasis on the having fun 00:03:12.95\00:03:15.02 and the party element. 00:03:15.06\00:03:16.39 But the knowledge side 00:03:16.42\00:03:17.76 is really what holds everything together. 00:03:17.79\00:03:19.79 And so there is a call to come back to this knowledge, 00:03:19.83\00:03:22.43 wisdom and understanding, 00:03:22.46\00:03:23.90 and of course that's talking about 00:03:23.93\00:03:25.40 knowledge of self ultimately. 00:03:25.43\00:03:27.10 You know, I appreciate you're sharing that 00:03:27.14\00:03:29.10 because there was a documentary that was done 00:03:29.14\00:03:32.97 or an interview really with Afrika Bambaataa 00:03:33.01\00:03:35.28 who is known as the Godfather of hip-hop. 00:03:35.31\00:03:37.68 He's much respected 00:03:37.71\00:03:39.05 in the hip-hop community and hip-hop culture. 00:03:39.08\00:03:41.45 When he was being interviewed 00:03:41.48\00:03:43.25 there was a question that was being asked 00:03:43.28\00:03:44.92 which was, you know, 00:03:44.95\00:03:46.29 what do you see in modern day hip-hop. 00:03:46.32\00:03:49.09 Now this video came out about 2005, where they were saying, 00:03:49.12\00:03:52.26 you know, what do you see in modern day hip-hop 00:03:52.29\00:03:55.90 that needs to be addressed? 00:03:55.93\00:03:57.73 And one of the things he mentioned 00:03:57.77\00:03:59.10 was what you just said, 00:03:59.13\00:04:00.47 a need to come back to the fifth element 00:04:00.50\00:04:02.50 which was the knowledge. 00:04:02.54\00:04:03.87 You know, really getting that knowledge, 00:04:03.91\00:04:05.24 wisdom and the over standing or understanding. 00:04:05.27\00:04:07.41 And that kind of makes me think, 00:04:07.44\00:04:10.75 is it then that even within the hip-hop culture, 00:04:10.78\00:04:14.68 there is not a total harmony. 00:04:14.72\00:04:16.38 There are individuals 00:04:16.42\00:04:17.75 who some of them are at one different plane 00:04:17.79\00:04:21.26 and others are at the plane, and then you have people 00:04:21.29\00:04:23.76 who are trying to bring everybody 00:04:23.79\00:04:25.13 to a certain common plane altogether. 00:04:25.16\00:04:27.63 Is this what's happening 00:04:27.66\00:04:29.00 within hip-hop culture right now. 00:04:29.03\00:04:30.57 And who are some of the key players with that? 00:04:30.60\00:04:31.93 Yeah, absolutely. 00:04:31.97\00:04:33.30 I mean, it's just like any other culture, 00:04:33.34\00:04:34.67 that's what we got a rapper minds around, 00:04:34.70\00:04:36.10 it's just like every other culture 00:04:36.14\00:04:37.87 there are people that are in, 00:04:37.91\00:04:40.38 you know, compensately or consciously 00:04:40.41\00:04:42.14 trying to advance the culture 00:04:42.18\00:04:43.61 and there's those that are kind of could care less, 00:04:43.65\00:04:45.65 have no knowledge of the culture 00:04:45.68\00:04:47.02 and just kind of living by impulse. 00:04:47.05\00:04:48.82 So yeah, there is a dividing line if you will. 00:04:48.85\00:04:51.85 There is a degree of respect for the pioneers 00:04:51.89\00:04:55.69 you know, and those thought leaders. 00:04:55.72\00:04:57.63 But at the same time those pioneers 00:04:57.66\00:04:59.59 and thought leaders aren't necessarily making, 00:04:59.63\00:05:01.73 you know, billions of dollars, most of them are millionaires. 00:05:01.76\00:05:05.80 You know, but they're not making money 00:05:05.83\00:05:07.84 like you're a platinum artist, 00:05:07.87\00:05:09.30 you're multi platinum artist are today. 00:05:09.34\00:05:11.97 So those up and coming artists 00:05:12.01\00:05:14.08 or those newly establish artists, 00:05:14.11\00:05:16.38 or those modern artists 00:05:16.41\00:05:17.85 who have kind of gotten in to hip-hop 00:05:17.88\00:05:20.65 or emerged as artists 00:05:20.68\00:05:22.38 after all of that pioneer work was done, 00:05:22.42\00:05:25.75 where people were just dismissing and corporations 00:05:25.79\00:05:27.86 didn't want to have anything to do with it. 00:05:27.89\00:05:29.22 Now corporations have embraced. 00:05:29.26\00:05:30.66 Now modern society has embraced hip-hop 00:05:30.69\00:05:33.19 so the people that come after obviously benefit 00:05:33.23\00:05:35.76 from the work of the previous culture. 00:05:35.80\00:05:37.60 But it's not always harmonious as you mentioned. 00:05:37.63\00:05:41.20 So there are some, 00:05:41.24\00:05:42.77 you know, especially the younger generation 00:05:42.80\00:05:45.41 who could care it less 00:05:45.44\00:05:46.84 or what care as one has to say or Afrika Bambaataa, 00:05:46.88\00:05:49.04 they'll respect him like 00:05:49.08\00:05:50.41 you might respect an elder perhaps. 00:05:50.45\00:05:53.18 But they don't think there is any relevance 00:05:53.21\00:05:55.65 to a lot of what we're talking about. 00:05:55.68\00:05:57.85 And, and that's also reciprocated, 00:05:57.89\00:06:00.32 so the thought leaders also look at some of these 00:06:00.36\00:06:02.62 young and upcoming artists as ignorant you know, 00:06:02.66\00:06:05.09 and as, as kind of pawns if you will of corporations 00:06:05.13\00:06:08.43 and the powers that beats or degrade 00:06:08.46\00:06:10.83 the culture and to keep, 00:06:10.87\00:06:12.30 you know, the minority population 00:06:12.33\00:06:14.64 and those truth secrets if you will to keep them down 00:06:14.67\00:06:18.24 and oppressed and chopped in this system. 00:06:18.27\00:06:21.48 So those, you know, those thought leaders 00:06:21.51\00:06:23.78 look at those guys and say they're irrelevant. 00:06:23.81\00:06:26.85 So then the thought leaders 00:06:26.88\00:06:28.22 are trying to be instruments of freedom. 00:06:28.25\00:06:30.75 They're trying to, you know, avail themselves to say, 00:06:30.79\00:06:33.46 hey, you younger generation out there, 00:06:33.49\00:06:35.26 that is just simply all about the looks 00:06:35.29\00:06:37.76 and the money and the fame and all of the stardom. 00:06:37.79\00:06:40.76 Wake up, there is something deeper, something greater 00:06:40.80\00:06:43.77 which is again this "fifth element" 00:06:43.80\00:06:46.13 of the knowledge, and the wisdom, 00:06:46.17\00:06:47.80 and over standing 00:06:47.84\00:06:49.17 which leads them to have again this knowledge of self. 00:06:49.20\00:06:53.01 Right, they believe essentially if you really look into it, 00:06:53.04\00:06:57.15 like we just, we talked about the gospel of hip-hop 00:06:57.18\00:06:59.78 in our previous episode. 00:06:59.81\00:07:02.72 They believe and when I say they, 00:07:02.75\00:07:04.99 I'm talking about these thought leaders. 00:07:05.02\00:07:07.29 They believe that hip-hop was it's... 00:07:07.32\00:07:12.99 it came from a divine origin. 00:07:13.03\00:07:14.36 Right. 00:07:14.40\00:07:15.73 They believe that the God of the universe 00:07:15.76\00:07:17.10 which they don't believe 00:07:17.13\00:07:18.47 that there is a such thing as God in the sky, 00:07:18.50\00:07:19.83 you know, a man up in the sky, 00:07:19.87\00:07:21.20 they believe that most of what we know is 00:07:21.24\00:07:23.44 religion is all false, mostly falsehoods. 00:07:23.47\00:07:26.34 But the idea that whoever the universal mother 00:07:26.37\00:07:29.14 or universal father 00:07:29.18\00:07:30.98 created and introduced hip-hop on the earth 00:07:31.01\00:07:35.02 to create unity both on the earth 00:07:35.05\00:07:39.22 and then there is a belief that 00:07:39.25\00:07:40.72 they're gonna go to other planets 00:07:40.76\00:07:42.09 and bring this cosmic unity 00:07:42.12\00:07:44.03 and they believe that hip-hop is the catalyst, 00:07:44.06\00:07:45.53 hip-hop is the medium through which unity and peace 00:07:45.56\00:07:49.13 and love and all these things 00:07:49.16\00:07:50.60 are going to be realized by humanity, 00:07:50.63\00:07:53.23 that humanity is going to kind of climb the scale of evolution 00:07:53.27\00:07:56.81 if you will through hip-hop. 00:07:56.84\00:07:59.87 And so they're looking at it as a divine institution 00:07:59.91\00:08:03.55 that is raised up at a time such as this 00:08:03.58\00:08:06.95 to bring the world together 00:08:06.98\00:08:09.78 under the banner of peace, love, unity you know, 00:08:09.82\00:08:11.82 safely having fun and all these things. 00:08:11.85\00:08:13.66 And this is what biblical Christianity 00:08:13.69\00:08:15.42 is imperative, it, it... 00:08:15.46\00:08:17.03 We have to bring this to the forefront 00:08:17.06\00:08:19.56 because this is the great commission Christ 00:08:19.59\00:08:21.00 told us to do anyhow. 00:08:21.03\00:08:22.36 In Matthew 28, He says, "Go ye therefore, 00:08:22.40\00:08:24.33 teach all nations, 00:08:24.37\00:08:25.77 and of course making disciples 00:08:25.80\00:08:27.97 and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, 00:08:28.00\00:08:30.11 and the Holy Ghost, and then teaching them 00:08:30.14\00:08:31.47 to observe all things whatsoever I've commanded you." 00:08:31.51\00:08:34.18 This is why this program exist 00:08:34.21\00:08:36.01 because unfortunately 00:08:36.04\00:08:38.18 we're seeing hip-hop culture 00:08:38.21\00:08:39.55 as one of the tools that quite honestly, 00:08:39.58\00:08:43.79 the devil is using to bring people 00:08:43.82\00:08:47.16 into a false concept of righteousness, 00:08:47.19\00:08:49.82 a false concept of knowledge 00:08:49.86\00:08:52.39 and understanding in all of these things 00:08:52.43\00:08:54.16 to eventually do what Satan wanted to do. 00:08:54.20\00:08:57.20 You see in our previous episode 00:08:57.23\00:08:58.57 we talked about it in Isaiah 14, 00:08:58.60\00:09:00.54 Satan's mission was, I will be like the Most High. 00:09:00.57\00:09:05.34 I want to be equal to Him if not above Him. 00:09:05.37\00:09:07.58 And because of that 00:09:07.61\00:09:08.98 he couldn't fulfill it in his battle 00:09:09.01\00:09:11.15 according to Revelation 12. 00:09:11.18\00:09:12.68 Revelation 12 makes it clear, 00:09:12.71\00:09:14.05 there was war in heaven between Michael and the dragon 00:09:14.08\00:09:16.38 but it says he lost. 00:09:16.42\00:09:17.75 He prevailed not and he was cast unto the earth. 00:09:17.79\00:09:20.16 So now Satan is seeking to fulfill his dream, 00:09:20.19\00:09:23.66 his desire through the medium of human beings, 00:09:23.69\00:09:25.79 the people whom Christ came to die for. 00:09:25.83\00:09:27.96 And he is using the elements of deception 00:09:28.00\00:09:30.23 and error and the mixture of truth and error 00:09:30.27\00:09:32.90 and all of these things to accomplish his goal, 00:09:32.93\00:09:35.57 and this is where our viewers need to had 00:09:35.60\00:09:37.97 a wider understanding of what really is hip-hop. 00:09:38.01\00:09:42.31 Is it just a musical form that you bob your head to 00:09:42.34\00:09:45.08 or is it a whole entire culture that ultimately is leading 00:09:45.11\00:09:49.18 to a very deep spiritual element. 00:09:49.22\00:09:51.72 And the question is, what spirit is that? 00:09:51.75\00:09:53.46 Right. How do you test that spirit? 00:09:53.49\00:09:54.86 How do you know if it's a righteous spirit 00:09:54.89\00:09:56.83 or an unrighteous spirit? 00:09:56.86\00:09:58.19 And we have to look at it like this. 00:09:58.23\00:10:00.10 I mean most people do not listen to music, 00:10:00.13\00:10:03.77 turn on the radio and listen 00:10:03.80\00:10:05.13 to whatever popular hip-hop song is out there. 00:10:05.17\00:10:07.24 And, and you know understand most of the most popular, 00:10:07.27\00:10:10.67 you know, pop songs are all hip-hop based, right? 00:10:10.71\00:10:13.78 So most people don't listen to that and say, 00:10:13.81\00:10:15.51 "Oh, this is, this has religious undertones, 00:10:15.54\00:10:18.41 there are some spiritual sides to this, 00:10:18.45\00:10:19.78 there is something deeper 00:10:19.81\00:10:21.15 that most people don't go beyond the surface. 00:10:21.18\00:10:22.52 Right. 00:10:22.55\00:10:23.89 So people would say, yeah, 00:10:23.92\00:10:25.25 you now, I like this person's music, 00:10:25.29\00:10:26.62 I like that person's music but I never really considered, 00:10:26.65\00:10:28.76 you know, what their goal and mission. 00:10:28.79\00:10:30.49 You know, it reminds me, 00:10:30.53\00:10:31.86 I remember watching a documentary 00:10:31.89\00:10:33.23 about reggae music in Rastafarianism. 00:10:33.26\00:10:37.17 And obviously Bob Marley is the iconic figure of that. 00:10:37.20\00:10:40.70 And Bob Marley was very plain in all of his dealings. 00:10:40.74\00:10:44.41 His primary function and you just go, 00:10:44.44\00:10:46.27 you can go and look it up somewhere 00:10:46.31\00:10:47.71 but he says himself in interviews 00:10:47.74\00:10:49.54 that the whole purpose for his existence in the music 00:10:49.58\00:10:52.78 that he makes was to spread Rastafarianism, 00:10:52.81\00:10:56.79 was to promote the idea 00:10:56.82\00:10:58.45 and the religious components of Rastafarianism. 00:10:58.49\00:11:01.32 There was nothing else he existed for, 00:11:01.36\00:11:02.72 he considered, or people, 00:11:02.76\00:11:04.13 some, some people consider him almost like a prophet 00:11:04.16\00:11:06.83 and that his goal was to spread Rastafarianism. 00:11:06.86\00:11:09.86 So we hear the music and we say, 00:11:09.90\00:11:12.33 oh, this is a great song or this and not realizing 00:11:12.37\00:11:15.94 that he's actually promoting a religion, 00:11:15.97\00:11:19.31 he's promoting a culture and the way of life 00:11:19.34\00:11:21.88 that in fact is diametrically opposed to Christianity. 00:11:21.91\00:11:26.48 Right, right. 00:11:26.51\00:11:27.85 And we kind of where, so what we don't want to do, 00:11:27.88\00:11:31.32 we're not being dismissive. 00:11:31.35\00:11:32.69 So we're not saying, oh, hip-hop is of the devil, 00:11:32.72\00:11:34.66 so therefore you know it's just... 00:11:34.69\00:11:37.03 There is power in hip-hop, 00:11:37.06\00:11:39.36 there is power in the music 00:11:39.39\00:11:41.33 and in the, the dancing and in the graffiti art, 00:11:41.36\00:11:44.60 in all those things there's power there. 00:11:44.63\00:11:46.43 The question is, where does the power come from? 00:11:46.47\00:11:48.87 And the power is just not of a divine origin. 00:11:48.90\00:11:52.21 It's supernatural, it is supernatural 00:11:52.24\00:11:54.71 you can't attribute it to human planning. 00:11:54.74\00:11:56.75 Right. 00:11:56.78\00:11:58.11 There is a supernatural element, 00:11:58.15\00:11:59.48 the problem is 00:11:59.51\00:12:00.85 it comes from another supernatural component 00:12:00.88\00:12:03.15 and as we identified, it comes from Satan. 00:12:03.18\00:12:05.59 It's satanic in that sense, not that it can be dismissed, 00:12:05.62\00:12:08.59 not that it shouldn't be recognized, 00:12:08.62\00:12:09.96 not that we can just ignore it. 00:12:09.99\00:12:11.36 We have to address it but it's not of God 00:12:11.39\00:12:15.36 and that is the bottom line at his very fundamental DNA 00:12:15.40\00:12:20.24 it's not of God and therefore as Christian 00:12:20.27\00:12:23.07 and as human beings we have to make a decision 00:12:23.10\00:12:26.94 whether or not we're just gonna say, 00:12:26.98\00:12:28.31 hey, I don't care I just like it 00:12:28.34\00:12:29.68 and, you know, do whatever or we're gonna say, 00:12:29.71\00:12:32.18 you know what, this might not be healthy, 00:12:32.21\00:12:34.35 this is not providing a solution 00:12:34.38\00:12:36.45 for the problems of life, 00:12:36.48\00:12:37.82 and the stresses of life, and the challenges of life. 00:12:37.85\00:12:40.16 This is not solving the problem of my, 00:12:40.19\00:12:42.52 you know, deceived heart in my, 00:12:42.56\00:12:44.29 in my crippled soul, in my grief and guilt 00:12:44.33\00:12:46.93 and worry and fear. 00:12:46.96\00:12:48.46 Hip-hop doesn't provide that. 00:12:48.50\00:12:50.00 it medicates, you know, just like many other things, 00:12:50.03\00:12:52.77 it's a form of medication 00:12:52.80\00:12:54.30 where it can help me forget you know, 00:12:54.34\00:12:57.67 "Forget about the problems and worry." 00:12:57.71\00:12:59.04 For a period of time. 00:12:59.07\00:13:00.41 Yeah, but for a period but when the lights are off 00:13:00.44\00:13:01.78 and everything is over, I'm back in that mindset 00:13:01.81\00:13:03.68 and that's where we find each other in, 00:13:03.71\00:13:06.21 you know, in our experience in hip-hop culture 00:13:06.25\00:13:08.88 you know, I'm there, I'm seeing and I'm, 00:13:08.92\00:13:11.09 you know, on the road to stardom 00:13:11.12\00:13:13.42 if you will as a middle teenager 00:13:13.46\00:13:17.53 and you're already achieving professional status 00:13:17.56\00:13:20.40 with the dancing, 00:13:20.43\00:13:21.76 and at a certain point it was not, 00:13:21.80\00:13:23.77 it didn't solve the problems over that. 00:13:23.80\00:13:25.13 And I'd add, that has to be built on 00:13:25.17\00:13:27.47 because like you said, "If I'm going on tours, 00:13:27.50\00:13:32.14 I remember times limousines pick me up 00:13:32.17\00:13:33.51 in front of my house. 00:13:33.54\00:13:34.88 You know, what I'm saying, 00:13:34.91\00:13:36.24 I'm living in Hollis Queens, New York. 00:13:36.28\00:13:37.61 And I got houses to the left, right and in front of me, 00:13:37.65\00:13:39.61 you know, we're very much entrenched right in the city. 00:13:39.65\00:13:42.15 And when the limousine 00:13:42.18\00:13:43.79 picks you up in front of your house 00:13:43.82\00:13:45.15 and everybody is coming out the house to look 00:13:45.19\00:13:46.52 and here you are walking real slow to get in your car, 00:13:46.55\00:13:48.92 you want everybody to see you. 00:13:48.96\00:13:50.46 When you're making thousands of dollars 00:13:50.49\00:13:52.59 in a month, 00:13:52.63\00:13:53.96 you know what some people make in a year, 00:13:54.00\00:13:55.33 you're making in the month. 00:13:55.36\00:13:56.70 You're on television, you're with women, 00:13:56.73\00:13:58.07 you're this, that and the other 00:13:58.10\00:13:59.43 but I'm a living example 00:13:59.47\00:14:00.80 that in the midst of all of that, 00:14:00.84\00:14:02.57 making all the money, being able to dance 00:14:02.60\00:14:05.01 and do all these things, 00:14:05.04\00:14:06.88 I knew that there was a satisfaction 00:14:06.91\00:14:09.54 that I was still seeking for that was not being supplied. 00:14:09.58\00:14:12.95 I had to keep taking the drug in, 00:14:12.98\00:14:14.78 I had to keep doing it. 00:14:14.82\00:14:16.15 And that was the thing and that's why, 00:14:16.18\00:14:17.82 you know, it's, it's always pulling at you. 00:14:17.85\00:14:20.26 Now I think it's good to pause here 00:14:20.29\00:14:21.62 because you know, 00:14:21.66\00:14:22.99 we're not, we're not trying to glorify the devil 00:14:23.02\00:14:25.39 when we talk about these things 00:14:25.43\00:14:26.76 and we're Christian network 00:14:26.80\00:14:28.13 so because of that you know, people can look at us and say, 00:14:28.16\00:14:30.73 why you're talking so much about this 00:14:30.77\00:14:32.10 which is bad or etcetera. 00:14:32.13\00:14:33.67 But I think there is a point that we're trying to do 00:14:33.70\00:14:35.40 that the Bible emphasizes. 00:14:35.44\00:14:36.87 I'm gonna give you a point in 2 Corinthians 2. 00:14:36.91\00:14:39.91 In 2 Corinthians the 2 Chapter 00:14:39.94\00:14:42.04 the Bible actually says something 00:14:42.08\00:14:43.41 that we would do well to consider. 00:14:43.45\00:14:45.08 2 Corinthians 2 00:14:45.11\00:14:47.42 and it was the Apostle Paul 00:14:47.45\00:14:49.35 as he was talking to the brethren 00:14:49.38\00:14:51.72 in the church of Corinth, 00:14:51.75\00:14:53.12 and a guy an individual in the church fell into sin 00:14:53.15\00:14:57.16 and the Apostle Paul was giving counsel 00:14:57.19\00:14:59.49 on how to strengthen him, 00:14:59.53\00:15:00.86 how to reaffirm him in the faith. 00:15:00.90\00:15:03.26 Bring him back. Yeah. 00:15:03.30\00:15:04.63 And basically here's what it says, 00:15:04.67\00:15:06.00 it says in 2 Corinthians 2:8, 00:15:06.03\00:15:08.60 I'm just picking up 00:15:08.64\00:15:09.97 in the middle of the story for time, 00:15:10.01\00:15:11.54 "Wherefore I beseech you that you would confirm 00:15:11.57\00:15:13.34 your love toward Him..." 00:15:13.38\00:15:14.71 Talking about this man who is falling. 00:15:14.74\00:15:16.21 "Confirm your love toward him. 00:15:16.24\00:15:18.28 For to this end also did I write, 00:15:18.31\00:15:20.02 that I might know the proof of you, 00:15:20.05\00:15:21.85 whether ye be obedient in all things." 00:15:21.88\00:15:24.12 "To whom ye forgive any thing, 00:15:24.15\00:15:25.85 I forgive also, for if I forgave any thing, 00:15:25.89\00:15:29.32 to whom I forgave it, 00:15:29.36\00:15:30.89 for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ." 00:15:30.93\00:15:34.23 Then it says something key in verse 11. 00:15:34.26\00:15:36.67 It says, lest, 00:15:36.70\00:15:38.37 if I don't do this something is gonna happen 00:15:38.40\00:15:40.94 and here's what is says, 00:15:40.97\00:15:42.30 "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us." 00:15:42.34\00:15:47.54 And then he closes by saying, 00:15:47.58\00:15:49.38 "For we are not ignorant of his devices." 00:15:49.41\00:15:52.58 One of the reasons the Apostle Paul 00:15:52.61\00:15:54.15 had so much success in his ministry was not simply 00:15:54.18\00:15:57.29 because he knew God so well, 00:15:57.32\00:15:59.15 but he also was acquainted with Satan's devices. 00:15:59.19\00:16:01.42 He understood how Satan worked, 00:16:01.46\00:16:02.92 he knew his enemy, and this was actually taught 00:16:02.96\00:16:05.19 by none other than Jesus Himself. 00:16:05.23\00:16:07.03 You read it in Luke 14, in Luke 14, 00:16:07.06\00:16:10.07 the Bible points out really powerfully, 00:16:10.10\00:16:12.50 the very fact that Jesus was using an example of warfare 00:16:12.53\00:16:16.57 and when He used the example of warfare, 00:16:16.60\00:16:18.14 He makes a profound statement in Luke 14:31 00:16:18.17\00:16:21.71 as He's talking about the qualifications 00:16:21.74\00:16:23.24 for discipleship. 00:16:23.28\00:16:24.61 He says in Luke 14:31, 00:16:24.65\00:16:26.78 "Or what king, going to make war 00:16:26.82\00:16:29.18 against another king, 00:16:29.22\00:16:30.59 sitteth not down first, and consulteth 00:16:30.62\00:16:34.86 whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him 00:16:34.89\00:16:37.69 that cometh against him with twenty thousand?" 00:16:37.73\00:16:40.60 So Jesus, look at what He said, 00:16:40.63\00:16:41.96 it is foolish for a king 00:16:42.00\00:16:43.33 to go to war and not consider, wait a minute, 00:16:43.37\00:16:46.57 what kind of arsenal does my enemy have 00:16:46.60\00:16:48.57 so I can make sure that I have enough arsenal 00:16:48.60\00:16:50.97 to counteract whatever he's trying to bring. 00:16:51.01\00:16:52.64 It makes sense. 00:16:52.67\00:16:54.01 In Christianity, it is imperative for us 00:16:54.04\00:16:56.41 to understand our enemy. 00:16:56.44\00:16:58.51 Not that we may glorify him 00:16:58.55\00:17:00.08 but that we may understand his wiles 00:17:00.12\00:17:02.18 and that he will not get advantage over us. 00:17:02.22\00:17:05.05 One of the problems that's happening 00:17:05.09\00:17:06.59 in Christianity today is you got a lot of people 00:17:06.62\00:17:09.49 that go to church and say they love God, 00:17:09.52\00:17:12.26 say they love Jesus, 00:17:12.29\00:17:13.63 and say they believe in the Bible 00:17:13.66\00:17:15.00 as the authoritative word of God 00:17:15.03\00:17:16.50 but were literally indulged 00:17:16.53\00:17:18.13 not just in hip-hop music but hip-hop culture 00:17:18.17\00:17:21.67 and they don't understand 00:17:21.70\00:17:23.04 that this has been diabolically put together 00:17:23.07\00:17:25.37 and set up to the antichrist, 00:17:25.41\00:17:27.58 it is against the word of God, it is against Christ Himself, 00:17:27.61\00:17:30.68 and it's certainly against the Bible. 00:17:30.71\00:17:32.41 It's for these reasons that a program like this exist 00:17:32.45\00:17:35.18 where we have to say, folks, 00:17:35.22\00:17:36.55 there is a power source out there 00:17:36.58\00:17:38.75 that is teaching a false concept 00:17:38.79\00:17:40.89 called knowledge of self 00:17:40.92\00:17:42.32 and what the people need is a true knowledge of self 00:17:42.36\00:17:45.33 so they can make the right decision 00:17:45.36\00:17:47.10 and choose this day whom they will serve. 00:17:47.13\00:17:48.46 Yeah. 00:17:48.50\00:17:49.83 So as we're going through all of these concepts 00:17:49.86\00:17:52.13 and understanding this idea, 00:17:52.17\00:17:53.60 we're talking a lot about hip-hop culture 00:17:53.64\00:17:55.74 but we have to ultimately look at biblical culture. 00:17:55.77\00:17:58.34 That's right. 00:17:58.37\00:17:59.71 So we highlighted a verse or a passage 00:17:59.74\00:18:03.45 if you will in the Book of 2 Peter 1. 00:18:03.48\00:18:07.75 So I want to spend sometime, I want to walk through that, 00:18:07.78\00:18:10.02 I want to read it and we're gonna spend, 00:18:10.05\00:18:13.42 you know, sometime talking about it 00:18:13.46\00:18:16.52 because those elements 00:18:16.56\00:18:18.79 if you will in those principles, 00:18:18.83\00:18:21.13 those cornerstones of hip-hop culture 00:18:21.16\00:18:25.07 need to be addressed. 00:18:25.10\00:18:26.77 We need to look at what they're saying 00:18:26.80\00:18:29.54 and look at what the Bible is saying and seeing 00:18:29.57\00:18:30.91 how they're not in harmony... 00:18:30.94\00:18:32.27 Right. 00:18:32.31\00:18:33.64 That there is not an agreement, 00:18:33.68\00:18:35.01 you know, so people say love, 00:18:35.04\00:18:36.38 oh, it's about love and automatically is good. 00:18:36.41\00:18:38.85 Well, no, not if it's, it's, it can be a wrong kind of love. 00:18:38.88\00:18:42.75 Yeah. 00:18:42.78\00:18:44.12 Just because love is involved, it doesn't mean it's right. 00:18:44.15\00:18:47.66 Only if it's a certain kind of love, 00:18:47.69\00:18:49.46 you know, the biblical love, the genuine love. 00:18:49.49\00:18:52.16 The love of God versus the love of the world 00:18:52.19\00:18:55.36 as the Bible contrast. 00:18:55.40\00:18:56.73 And this is important because when an individual 00:18:56.77\00:18:59.50 uses this terms like love, peace, safely having fun, 00:18:59.53\00:19:03.97 all of that has to be determined. 00:19:04.01\00:19:05.51 Who decides what love is? Right. 00:19:05.54\00:19:08.21 Who decides what peace is, or what constitutes peace? 00:19:08.24\00:19:10.81 Who decides "what constitute" safely having fun 00:19:10.85\00:19:13.31 versus not having fun in the safe way? 00:19:13.35\00:19:15.28 An example, if you were to go to people today 00:19:15.32\00:19:17.45 and say repentance, 00:19:17.49\00:19:19.32 if you say to them repentance, 00:19:19.35\00:19:21.16 is that a good term or a bad term? 00:19:21.19\00:19:24.49 If anyone is at least minutely spiritually conscious, 00:19:24.53\00:19:27.06 especially towards Christianity, 00:19:27.10\00:19:28.73 they're gonna say, well, repentance is a good thing, 00:19:28.76\00:19:30.57 because repentance typically means 00:19:30.60\00:19:31.93 turning away from one thing to come in another direction 00:19:31.97\00:19:34.90 which ultimately is God's direction, 00:19:34.94\00:19:36.91 but the Bible actually says something about repentance 00:19:36.94\00:19:39.44 that would make a person think a little bit more. 00:19:39.47\00:19:41.84 Yeah. It's found in 2 Corinthians 7. 00:19:41.88\00:19:44.31 In 2 Corinthians 7, 00:19:44.35\00:19:46.65 the Bible actually says something about repentance 00:19:46.68\00:19:49.58 that I believe should cause anybody to think. 00:19:49.62\00:19:51.85 It says right here in verse 10, 00:19:51.89\00:19:54.06 "For Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation 00:19:54.09\00:19:57.79 not to be repented of: 00:19:57.83\00:19:59.19 But the sorrow of the world worketh death." 00:19:59.23\00:20:01.53 Okay. 00:20:01.56\00:20:02.90 In other words, sorrow is what makes repentance, 00:20:02.93\00:20:06.50 but there is a godly sorrow 00:20:06.53\00:20:08.07 that leads to repentance and salvation 00:20:08.10\00:20:10.34 but then there is a worldly sorrow 00:20:10.37\00:20:12.07 that leads to death. 00:20:12.11\00:20:13.44 Now a biblical character 00:20:13.48\00:20:14.81 that I believe fits the worldly sorrow 00:20:14.84\00:20:17.31 and worldly repentance was none other than Judas. 00:20:17.35\00:20:20.18 When you read Matthew 27 after he saw Jesus condemned, 00:20:20.22\00:20:23.75 the Bible says, "He repented", 00:20:23.79\00:20:25.25 or somebody should have said amen, 00:20:25.29\00:20:26.86 but when you really look at the whole story, 00:20:26.89\00:20:28.96 he repented but what was the fruit of it? 00:20:28.99\00:20:30.99 It led to death, he hung himself. 00:20:31.03\00:20:32.89 Why, because it was a worldly sorrow 00:20:32.93\00:20:35.23 that promoted this worldly a false concept of repentance. 00:20:35.26\00:20:39.17 This is what God is trying to teach us through His word. 00:20:39.20\00:20:41.47 We have to think a little bit more. 00:20:41.50\00:20:42.87 We can't just accept terms like love and peace and repentance. 00:20:42.90\00:20:46.24 We have to really qualify it, what does it mean? 00:20:46.27\00:20:48.31 How do we apply that? 00:20:48.34\00:20:49.68 And who's the one that has the right 00:20:49.71\00:20:51.05 to get the final saying what it means. 00:20:51.08\00:20:52.58 And that's the reason why we're having the studies, 00:20:52.61\00:20:54.15 we're having. 00:20:54.18\00:20:55.52 So now we're now looking at 2 Peter 1, 00:20:55.55\00:20:57.69 we're looking at God's perspective 00:20:57.72\00:20:59.85 on His elements or His pillars 00:20:59.89\00:21:02.99 when it comes to the Christian culture 00:21:03.02\00:21:04.76 in comparison of course to the elements 00:21:04.79\00:21:06.63 and pillars of hip-hop culture. 00:21:06.66\00:21:08.00 All right, so let's take a look, 00:21:08.03\00:21:09.36 2 Peter Chapter 1, 00:21:09.40\00:21:10.73 I'm gonna read verses 2 to 10. 00:21:10.77\00:21:13.03 It says, "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you 00:21:13.07\00:21:16.57 through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 00:21:16.60\00:21:20.64 according as His divine power hath 00:21:20.68\00:21:22.68 given unto us all things 00:21:22.71\00:21:24.28 that pertain unto life and godliness. 00:21:24.31\00:21:26.92 Through the knowledge of Him 00:21:26.95\00:21:28.52 that hath called us to glory and virtue: 00:21:28.55\00:21:31.82 whereby are given unto us 00:21:31.85\00:21:34.12 exceeding great and precious promises, 00:21:34.16\00:21:36.93 that by these ye might be partakers 00:21:36.96\00:21:39.49 of the divine nature, 00:21:39.53\00:21:41.23 having escaped the corruption 00:21:41.26\00:21:43.26 that is in the world through lust. 00:21:43.30\00:21:46.23 And beside this, giving all diligence, 00:21:46.27\00:21:48.87 add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge. 00:21:48.90\00:21:53.41 And to knowledge temperance and to temperance patience, 00:21:53.44\00:21:57.25 and to patience godliness, 00:21:57.28\00:21:59.31 and to godliness brotherly kindness, 00:21:59.35\00:22:01.82 and to brotherly kindness charity, 00:22:01.85\00:22:04.49 for if these things be in you, and abound, they make you 00:22:04.52\00:22:09.56 that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful 00:22:09.59\00:22:12.33 in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ 00:22:12.36\00:22:14.76 but he that lacketh these things 00:22:14.80\00:22:16.90 is blind and cannot see afar off, 00:22:16.93\00:22:20.50 and hath forgotten that he was purged 00:22:20.54\00:22:22.74 from his old sins. 00:22:22.77\00:22:24.17 Wherefore the rather, brethren, 00:22:24.21\00:22:26.74 give diligence to make your calling and election sure: 00:22:26.78\00:22:31.35 for if you do these things, ye shall never fall." 00:22:31.38\00:22:36.99 There is a lot to talk about there. 00:22:37.02\00:22:38.35 What were they? This is powerful. 00:22:38.39\00:22:40.06 I mean, seriously because I'm getting excited 00:22:40.09\00:22:41.52 just going through it 00:22:41.56\00:22:42.89 because these are literally the pillars 00:22:42.92\00:22:45.13 as it relates to the Christian faith. 00:22:45.16\00:22:46.70 These are the pillars of all those elements 00:22:46.73\00:22:49.40 of what God wanted to establish in every child of God. 00:22:49.43\00:22:53.50 So that like he said, we will not fall, 00:22:53.54\00:22:56.17 those who reject this he says are blind. 00:22:56.20\00:22:58.97 The Bible says, in Matthew 5:14, 00:22:59.01\00:23:01.84 Matthew 15:14, it says, 00:23:01.88\00:23:03.91 "Let them alone, they be blind leaders of the blind. 00:23:03.95\00:23:06.82 And if the blind lead the blind, 00:23:06.85\00:23:08.32 both fall into the ditch." 00:23:08.35\00:23:10.02 Well, look at that, blindness leads to falling, 00:23:10.05\00:23:12.55 these pillars, it opens our eyes so that we don't fall. 00:23:12.59\00:23:16.22 And I mean, this is the contrast 00:23:16.26\00:23:18.13 that God is trying to present to us. 00:23:18.16\00:23:19.89 So right now there is a movement 00:23:19.93\00:23:22.76 that is promoting principles 00:23:22.80\00:23:25.13 that actually is promoting blindness 00:23:25.17\00:23:27.44 but they're saying that it's going to give sight. 00:23:27.47\00:23:29.94 Right. 00:23:29.97\00:23:31.31 And this is what God has to debunk, 00:23:31.34\00:23:32.74 this is what the Lord wants His word to make clear 00:23:32.77\00:23:36.31 and open the eyes of those who have ears to hear. 00:23:36.34\00:23:38.81 At the end of the day, Lance, 00:23:38.85\00:23:40.18 some people are gonna just say look, 00:23:40.22\00:23:41.55 I like what I like, I want what I want 00:23:41.58\00:23:42.92 and I'm gonna do what I want to do. 00:23:42.95\00:23:44.29 And there's something I've learned about God. 00:23:44.32\00:23:46.02 God loves us so much that He will respect our decisions 00:23:46.05\00:23:49.39 even when they're foolish and literally He'll do that, 00:23:49.42\00:23:52.19 He'll do everything possible to open our eyes 00:23:52.23\00:23:54.23 but if the man is stubborn, the man is stubborn. 00:23:54.26\00:23:56.00 And if you don't believe that, 00:23:56.03\00:23:57.37 you can ask a person like Belshazzar. 00:23:57.40\00:23:59.23 You know, God was trying to reach his heart 00:23:59.27\00:24:01.00 but he was a very rebellious person, 00:24:01.04\00:24:03.00 he wanted what he wanted, 00:24:03.04\00:24:04.37 and at the end of the day he did not pay attention 00:24:04.41\00:24:06.17 to the story of his father Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon. 00:24:06.21\00:24:09.08 And how he went through his humbling experience, 00:24:09.11\00:24:10.98 so God had to finally write on the wall, 00:24:11.01\00:24:12.78 many, many to kill you for sin, 00:24:12.81\00:24:14.52 your days are numbered, your days up, 00:24:14.55\00:24:16.85 you are now going to die and your kingdom is gonna be 00:24:16.89\00:24:19.62 handed over to the Medes and the Persians. 00:24:19.65\00:24:21.56 So God, He's gonna do everything to save us 00:24:21.59\00:24:24.49 but if people don't want God, 00:24:24.53\00:24:26.19 He will actually respect their decision even to be lost. 00:24:26.23\00:24:29.76 But I believe as long as people have to ears to hear, 00:24:29.80\00:24:32.47 God can help us see. 00:24:32.50\00:24:33.84 There are false pillars 00:24:33.87\00:24:35.24 that are being presented through hip-hop culture, 00:24:35.27\00:24:38.54 they sound good but the problem is, 00:24:38.57\00:24:41.18 there is a way that seems right unto a man 00:24:41.21\00:24:42.94 but the end thereof are the ways of death 00:24:42.98\00:24:44.71 and God has pillars in His word 00:24:44.75\00:24:47.05 that we need to pay attention to 00:24:47.08\00:24:48.78 because they keep us from falling 00:24:48.82\00:24:50.35 and helps us enter into eternal life. 00:24:50.39\00:24:52.82 That's right. 00:24:52.85\00:24:54.19 And there is gonna, you hear, 00:24:54.22\00:24:55.56 you know, in hip-hop culture there is also, 00:24:55.59\00:24:57.23 there is always a call for objectivity. 00:24:57.26\00:24:59.79 You know, that you can't subjectively 00:24:59.83\00:25:01.86 look at culture like subjectively, 00:25:01.90\00:25:04.60 you know, comments on 00:25:04.63\00:25:07.77 or that culture by definition is subjective, right? 00:25:07.80\00:25:10.91 And, but the goal is to look at it objectively 00:25:10.94\00:25:13.41 and so these principles and those things, 00:25:13.44\00:25:15.41 the pillars and the elements is the objectivity 00:25:15.44\00:25:18.48 that helps to guide the subjectivity 00:25:18.51\00:25:20.78 that, that is associated with the culture. 00:25:20.82\00:25:23.52 But we have to accept the fact when we talk, 00:25:23.55\00:25:26.89 remember we're talking about the dependents 00:25:26.92\00:25:28.92 and the independents, you know, 00:25:28.96\00:25:31.13 accepting what the truth that God is presenting 00:25:31.16\00:25:33.93 through His word requires total dependents 00:25:33.96\00:25:36.77 of the created being, the human to the creator, God. 00:25:36.80\00:25:41.00 And when we think about objectivity, 00:25:41.04\00:25:46.41 really the only way 00:25:46.44\00:25:48.41 to look at the world to look at morally, 00:25:48.44\00:25:52.48 to look at culture objectively is from God's word. 00:25:52.51\00:25:58.12 The creator is really the only one 00:25:58.15\00:26:01.32 that can by both creation and redemption 00:26:01.36\00:26:05.59 has the authority to dictate to creation 00:26:05.63\00:26:09.86 what is right, what is wrong. 00:26:09.90\00:26:12.13 How do you do this, how do you do that? 00:26:12.17\00:26:14.57 And if we, once we step away from that 00:26:14.60\00:26:17.04 and we start consulting humanity for objectivity, 00:26:17.07\00:26:20.48 we're going to find ourselves in a real messed up situation. 00:26:20.51\00:26:23.04 Well, the truth of the matter is that 00:26:23.08\00:26:24.41 if somebody came to you and me, 00:26:24.45\00:26:25.78 I said it before and I'll say it again. 00:26:25.81\00:26:27.68 You know, if somebody came to us and say hello, 00:26:27.72\00:26:29.52 I'm deceitful above all things 00:26:29.55\00:26:31.12 and I'm desperately wicked, please accept my counsel. 00:26:31.15\00:26:34.26 You know, you and I would have enough intelligence to say, 00:26:34.29\00:26:36.46 I'm not listening to anything this person has to say, 00:26:36.49\00:26:38.56 they just told me 00:26:38.59\00:26:39.93 they're deceitful above all things 00:26:39.96\00:26:41.30 and desperately wicked. 00:26:41.33\00:26:42.66 And now they ask me to listen to their counsel, 00:26:42.70\00:26:44.03 I'm not doing it. 00:26:44.07\00:26:45.40 But the Bible tells us that all of our hearts, 00:26:45.43\00:26:47.27 all of our hearts, all of humanity, 00:26:47.30\00:26:49.47 all of our hearts 00:26:49.50\00:26:50.87 it is deceitful above all things 00:26:50.91\00:26:53.51 and it is desperately wicked. 00:26:53.54\00:26:54.88 So why would we consult our hearts 00:26:54.91\00:26:56.28 or another human's heart 00:26:56.31\00:26:57.65 to know what righteousness is? 00:26:57.68\00:26:59.01 We do not have an understanding of that naturally 00:26:59.05\00:27:00.92 or an over standing of that, 00:27:00.95\00:27:02.28 whatever term a person wants to use, 00:27:02.32\00:27:03.65 you don't have it. 00:27:03.69\00:27:05.02 So therefore we have to go to the one 00:27:05.05\00:27:06.39 that has it and that is none other than God. 00:27:06.42\00:27:08.19 Yeah. 00:27:08.22\00:27:09.56 I mean, we got to a point now 00:27:09.59\00:27:10.93 where we're once again get in towards our closing. 00:27:10.96\00:27:12.99 Friends, we know that this has been a blessing, 00:27:13.03\00:27:15.43 it's been a blessing to me just to talk about it. 00:27:15.46\00:27:17.63 And I'm very grateful for the time 00:27:17.67\00:27:19.23 that we were able to spend together. 00:27:19.27\00:27:21.07 Remember, the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, 00:27:21.10\00:27:25.87 "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature 00:27:25.91\00:27:30.45 and old things are passed away." 00:27:30.48\00:27:32.35 When we are new creatures in Christ, 00:27:32.38\00:27:34.35 we have entered into a new culture, 00:27:34.38\00:27:37.32 that culture is called Christianity. 00:27:37.35\00:27:39.99 And this culture 00:27:40.02\00:27:41.52 is a superior culture to all other cultures 00:27:41.56\00:27:45.53 and our lives must be in harmony with this culture 00:27:45.56\00:27:48.30 if we would see the Lord face to face at last. 00:27:48.33\00:27:51.20 It is our hope and our prayer 00:27:51.23\00:27:52.57 that you've received the blessings 00:27:52.60\00:27:53.94 that God wanted to give today. 00:27:53.97\00:27:55.30 We want you to stay tuned. 00:27:55.34\00:27:56.67 Remember that we have more sessions coming up. 00:27:56.71\00:27:58.41 We're gonna dig deeper in the words of God 00:27:58.44\00:28:00.44 and until then remember Proverbs 2:6, 00:28:00.48\00:28:03.51 "That it is the Lord that gives us wisdom 00:28:03.55\00:28:07.32 and out of His mouth comes knowledge and understanding." 00:28:07.35\00:28:10.79 God bless. 00:28:10.82\00:28:12.15
