[Music, chanting] 00:00:24.82\00:00:39.73 Judea was ruled by Rome to 2,000 years ago in the time 00:00:39.77\00:00:43.71 of Jesus of Nazareth. 00:00:43.74\00:00:45.14 Even then the people were chafing under Roman rule. 00:00:45.17\00:00:48.61 Their occasional small-scale rebellions but they were quickly 00:00:48.64\00:00:52.85 crushed. In 1866 however, the Jewish Revolt fled into 00:00:52.88\00:00:59.89 a full-scale war that raged for four years until the 00:00:59.92\00:01:03.56 Roman General Titus conquered Jerusalem destroyed the sacred 00:01:03.63\00:01:07.76 temple and expelled most of the survivors from the country. 00:01:07.80\00:01:12.07 One outpost alone held out against the Romans. 00:01:16.20\00:01:19.91 It was the Fortress of Masada built high above the Dead Sea 00:01:19.94\00:01:24.88 on top of a barren mountainous plateau. 00:01:24.91\00:01:28.55 One of the most historic and incredible stories 00:01:28.58\00:01:31.75 of all history was played out here when a small group of 00:01:31.79\00:01:36.22 Jewish Zealots defied the power of Rome. 00:01:36.26\00:01:39.29 It's a story that carries a special message for us today 00:01:39.33\00:01:43.26 stay tuned to hear all about it. 00:01:43.30\00:01:46.94 Masada is a natural rock-top fortress overlooking the 00:02:16.26\00:02:20.67 Dead Sea on the eastern edge of the Judean Desert. 00:02:20.70\00:02:24.01 Due to its natural features with steep sides and no easy 00:02:24.04\00:02:28.44 access, the place is virtually invincible. 00:02:28.51\00:02:31.61 Herod the Great recognized the unique characteristics 00:02:37.49\00:02:40.72 and strategic advantages of this natural fortress 00:02:40.76\00:02:44.49 both for defense and for pleasure. 00:02:44.53\00:02:47.26 He was a Roman Kline King of Judea who ruled this region 00:02:47.30\00:02:52.33 from 37 BC to 4BC. He wanted a fortress, a place of refuge 00:02:52.37\00:02:58.97 in case the Jews should rebel against him. 00:02:59.01\00:03:02.48 or the Egyptian Pharaoh Cleopatra who wanted his 00:03:02.51\00:03:06.11 territory Judea should try to have him killed. 00:03:06.15\00:03:09.52 So he fortified Masada with walls, gates, and towers. 00:03:09.55\00:03:14.52 He also liked his creature comforts 00:03:14.56\00:03:17.96 and so he turned it into a luxurious vacation palace 00:03:17.99\00:03:22.30 It was elaborately designed and decorated. 00:03:22.33\00:03:25.50 The residential area cascaded in three tiers down the 00:03:25.53\00:03:30.61 cliff-face and was complete with swimming pools, 00:03:30.64\00:03:33.88 executive offices, and grand bath houses and even 00:03:33.91\00:03:38.08 a private sauna. The palace offered a magnificent view 00:03:38.11\00:03:42.95 of the Dead Sea and the Judean Desert. 00:03:42.98\00:03:45.85 Great cisterns were carved out of the rock to catch and 00:03:45.89\00:03:52.33 store the precious water brought by occasional rains. 00:03:52.36\00:03:55.96 No expense was spared, here was a self-contained 00:03:56.00\00:04:00.74 palace fortress truly fit for a king. 00:04:00.77\00:04:04.61 after Herod's death and the annexation of Judea, 00:04:04.64\00:04:14.52 the Romans established a garrison at Masada. 00:04:14.55\00:04:17.79 When the Great Jewish Revolt broke out in AD 66 00:04:17.82\00:04:22.26 a group of Jewish Zealots known as the Sicarii took over the 00:04:22.29\00:04:27.33 Masada Fortress. When the Romans destroyed Jerusalem 00:04:27.36\00:04:31.43 the entire country had been conquered with one exception. 00:04:31.47\00:04:36.40 Masada still stood defiant, great stock imposing, 00:04:36.44\00:04:46.45 the Zealots considered Masada invincible. 00:04:46.48\00:04:50.29 They were confident that the Great Rock Fortress with cliffs 00:04:50.32\00:04:54.02 on every side would always protect them, 00:04:54.06\00:04:56.83 they felt safe and secure, Masada was their 00:04:56.86\00:05:01.13 Security Blanket, they could easily defend its only access. 00:05:02.30\00:05:06.53 A single pathway so narrow that it was necessary 00:05:06.57\00:05:10.84 to walk single file to ascend the 400 steps to the top. 00:05:10.87\00:05:14.71 There are about 700 steps along the two-kilometers 00:05:14.74\00:05:18.51 of winding pathway. 00:05:18.58\00:05:20.02 This pathway was aptly named "The Snake Path" 00:05:20.08\00:05:25.39 because of the way it twists and zig-zags to the summit. 00:05:25.49\00:05:29.09 And so the Great Rock Fortress with its high sides and 00:05:29.12\00:05:37.60 difficult access was the zealot's hope for protection, 00:05:37.63\00:05:41.30 their insurance policy for survival. 00:05:41.34\00:05:44.77 It was the strongest most defensible, and most secure site 00:05:44.81\00:05:49.24 in all the land. And so trusting Masada to protect them 00:05:49.28\00:05:53.92 they defiantly challenged the most powerful army on earth. 00:05:53.95\00:05:58.55 For two years the Zealots harassed the Romans with 00:06:08.46\00:06:12.00 raiding operations from Masada, they engaged in Gorilla tactics 00:06:12.03\00:06:16.60 hit and run, strike hard, strike unexpectedly, and then 00:06:16.64\00:06:22.01 just disappear. They always returned to the safety 00:06:22.04\00:06:26.21 of Masada and then in March AD 72, the Roman Governor 00:06:26.25\00:06:32.45 and General Flavius Silva decided he'd had enough 00:06:32.49\00:06:36.73 He marched against Masada with his 10th legion. 00:06:36.76\00:06:41.20 They brought water, timber, and provisions. 00:06:41.23\00:06:44.33 The 10th legion was prepared for a long siege 00:06:44.37\00:06:48.24 after sitting up their camp at the base of Masada 00:06:48.27\00:06:52.17 the Romans built a four kilometer wall right around 00:06:52.21\00:06:55.71 the base of the Great rock so that no zealot would escape. 00:06:55.74\00:06:59.81 The remains of the Roman Camp and wall can still be seen today 00:06:59.85\00:07:04.65 a reminder of their careful and well-executed strategy. 00:07:04.69\00:07:08.96 The Zealots were now confined to their Clifftop Fortress 00:07:08.99\00:07:13.33 but as they watched all this activity from high up 00:07:13.36\00:07:17.47 the Zealots weren't too concerned, they were confident 00:07:17.50\00:07:21.64 that Masada could stand any attack, the Great Fortress 00:07:21.67\00:07:26.81 would always protect them. 00:07:26.84\00:07:28.84 The Romans continued their methodical preparation 00:07:28.88\00:07:36.95 on the western side of Masada they constructed a ramp from 00:07:36.99\00:07:41.59 stones and beaten earth. Stone by stone they steadily 00:07:41.62\00:07:46.53 built their ramp of Doom. 00:07:46.56\00:07:48.13 On this embankment they built a Siege Tower, 00:07:48.16\00:07:51.73 The giant Roman catapult were placed in position 00:07:51.77\00:07:56.74 and was soon firing massive boulders at the Zealots 00:07:56.77\00:08:00.14 in the Fortress. These missiles, these great boulders 00:08:00.18\00:08:03.88 can still be seen at Masada today. 00:08:03.91\00:08:06.51 The Romans then moved their battering ramp up the ramp 00:08:06.55\00:08:11.35 and began to pound the walls. 00:08:11.39\00:08:13.72 The Zealots desperately defended but soon a section of the wall 00:08:13.76\00:08:18.59 crumbled and was destroyed however, the Zealots had built 00:08:18.63\00:08:22.56 another wall of timber inside the section that had been 00:08:22.60\00:08:26.13 destroyed and they banked it up with soil. 00:08:26.17\00:08:29.00 This soil was soft and yielding so when struck by battering rams 00:08:29.04\00:08:34.71 it only became more firm. 00:08:34.74\00:08:36.81 But Flavius Silva had a plan and was prepared. 00:08:36.85\00:08:40.62 He directed his men to throw 00:08:40.65\00:08:42.92 fiery torches at the wooden wall and set it alight, 00:08:42.95\00:08:46.35 quickly the wall became a mighty flame 00:08:46.39\00:08:49.72 The Romans then returned to their camp certain of victory 00:08:49.76\00:08:57.27 the next day. 00:08:57.30\00:08:58.63 So it was that next morning just before dawn on that 00:09:01.50\00:09:05.47 fateful day in AD 73 Silva's men moved up the ramp 00:09:05.51\00:09:10.61 and charged through the battered wall with swords raised 00:09:10.65\00:09:14.62 ready for battle. 00:09:14.65\00:09:16.18 But there was no clash of swords, there was no opposition, 00:09:16.22\00:09:23.73 there was no sound, they were met only by an eerie silence 00:09:23.76\00:09:29.53 the silence of a cemetery. 00:09:29.56\00:09:32.50 What they saw led them to fall back in shock and disbelief, 00:09:32.53\00:09:41.64 for here all about them were the freshly slain bodies 00:09:41.68\00:09:46.08 of the Zealots, they'd expected to fight. 00:09:46.11\00:09:48.88 There were 960 of them, men, women, and children their bodies 00:09:48.92\00:09:55.12 systematically grouped on the rocky surface, 00:09:55.16\00:09:57.63 the battle was over, the Romans had won, Masada had fallen, 00:09:57.66\00:10:03.10 their enemies were dead as they had wanted them to be. 00:10:03.13\00:10:07.27 But the Romans were cautious, they weren't sure how many 00:10:17.15\00:10:20.58 Zealots there were, could more be in hiding waiting for 00:10:20.62\00:10:24.35 the right moment to attack? Together the soldiers let out 00:10:24.39\00:10:28.96 a dread shout and at the sound of their mighty bellow 00:10:28.99\00:10:32.99 two women and five children emerged from their hiding place 00:10:33.03\00:10:37.43 the only survivors. One of the women told the whole story 00:10:37.47\00:10:43.20 to the Roman soldiers, she explained in detail what had 00:10:43.24\00:10:46.84 happened and that's how the historian Josephus was able to 00:10:46.88\00:10:51.35 record it all for us. 00:10:51.38\00:10:53.11 You see, after the emergency wall had been burned 00:10:53.15\00:10:57.29 and the Masada defenses had been breached, 00:10:57.32\00:10:59.95 the leader of the Zealots Eleazar ben Ya'ir realized that 00:10:59.99\00:11:04.93 the Great Rock Fortress could no longer defend them. 00:11:04.96\00:11:08.23 He knew that the end was just a few hours away. 00:11:08.26\00:11:12.97 There were only two options, they could fight to the death 00:11:13.00\00:11:17.24 or they could surrender to the Romans and become 00:11:17.27\00:11:19.97 their slaves, it was death or slavery, one or the other. 00:11:20.01\00:11:25.21 But as he revisited the situation that night 00:11:25.25\00:11:29.25 Eleazar ben Ya'ir realized that there was one more choice, 00:11:29.28\00:11:34.12 if they must die, they could choose the kind of death. 00:11:34.16\00:11:39.06 They could die in honor instead of defeat. 00:11:39.09\00:11:42.10 He called his men together and explained the plan 00:11:42.13\00:11:45.83 he reminded them of the disgrace of slavery to the hated Romans 00:11:45.87\00:11:50.37 here are the words of part of his impassioned and famous 00:11:50.41\00:11:55.28 speech. Eleazar ben Ya'ir talked on until emotions were roused 00:12:29.78\00:12:35.18 and patriotism so inflamed that they all agreed to join 00:12:35.22\00:12:39.79 the suicide pact, they would die rather than surrender. 00:12:39.82\00:12:44.86 Each man gathered his own family together, 00:12:44.89\00:12:48.76 tenderly embraced them with tears in his eyes, 00:12:48.80\00:12:51.93 and then he took the lives of those he loved. 00:12:51.97\00:12:55.50 When this was done, the men cast lots and chose 10 men to slay 00:12:55.54\00:13:01.61 all the rest. Each man laid down beside his wife and children 00:13:01.64\00:13:05.98 and submitted himself to the death he'd inflicted on them. 00:13:06.01\00:13:10.59 and the last 10 men cast lots to see who would slay 00:13:10.62\00:13:15.12 the other nine and finally the last man set fire to the palace 00:13:15.16\00:13:20.46 and then died by his own sword only the two women and five 00:13:20.50\00:13:25.23 children escaped. 00:13:25.27\00:13:26.80 So ended one of the most incredible stories of all 00:13:26.84\00:13:34.08 history but it need not have ended this way, there is a 00:13:34.11\00:13:38.25 better way of protection, a more secure fortress and that was 00:13:38.28\00:13:42.62 discovered by another great warrior who used Masada as a 00:13:42.65\00:13:46.32 fortress one thousand years earlier. 00:13:46.35\00:13:48.56 His name was David, he became Israel's greatest and most loved 00:13:48.59\00:13:55.46 king. David was the lowly shepherd boy who defeated 00:13:55.50\00:13:59.40 Goliath, became king, formed Israel into a nation, 00:13:59.43\00:14:03.67 and established Jerusalem as its capital and ushered in 00:14:03.71\00:14:07.94 Israel's golden age. 00:14:07.98\00:14:10.25 The name Masada is derived from the Hebrew word 00:14:10.28\00:14:14.85 Matsuda, that means stronghold or fortress. 00:14:14.88\00:14:18.49 And it appears that David visited the clifftop fortress 00:14:18.52\00:14:22.46 on at least three occasions. 00:14:22.49\00:14:24.16 Possibly the first time he saw it was when he was fleeing 00:14:24.19\00:14:28.33 for his life from Saul, Israel's first king. 00:14:28.36\00:14:31.27 Saul saw David as a threat to his throne and was determined 00:14:31.30\00:14:36.37 to kill him so David was on the run. 00:14:36.40\00:14:39.51 After hiding in the cave at Aijalon in Judea's western 00:14:49.88\00:14:53.12 foothills, David and his band of followers went to Bethlehem 00:14:53.15\00:14:56.99 to rescue David's parents from potential harm and to 00:14:57.03\00:15:01.23 escort them to safety in Moab directly across the Dead Sea 00:15:01.26\00:15:05.00 from Masada. David hoped his family would be safe there 00:15:05.03\00:15:08.74 until the situation with Saul settled down. 00:15:08.77\00:15:11.97 When he was returning from Moab, David was looking for 00:15:12.01\00:15:16.04 a hideout in the Judean desert where he would be safe 00:15:16.08\00:15:20.05 from attack. Ideally a place with a view in all directions 00:15:20.08\00:15:24.29 that would allow him to see danger approaching 00:15:24.32\00:15:27.32 so where did he go? He went to the stronghold Metsuda, 00:15:27.36\00:15:33.13 Masada. Here's what the record says in I Samuel 22: 4. 00:15:33.16\00:15:39.50 It says after securing his family's safety 00:15:47.81\00:15:51.18 David was in the stronghold, the word in Hebrew 00:15:51.21\00:15:55.65 is Metsuda or Masada. 00:15:55.68\00:15:57.92 So even way back in David's time around 1,000 BC 00:15:57.95\00:16:02.46 this great clifftop fortress was called Masada. 00:16:02.49\00:16:06.96 Now although Masada may seem a perfect hiding place 00:16:11.63\00:16:15.34 from a human perspective, it's not where God wanted 00:16:15.37\00:16:18.71 David to stay and so David received a message from 00:16:18.74\00:16:22.31 one of the prophets to move on. Here's what it says in 00:16:22.34\00:16:25.95 I Samuel 22:5 00:16:25.98\00:16:29.28 The second time David and his men went to Masada 00:16:43.30\00:16:47.94 was after David had spared King Saul's life at Ein Gedi 00:16:47.97\00:16:51.77 just a few kilometers north of Masada, Saul was hunting 00:16:51.81\00:16:56.54 for David, still wanting to kill him and he stopped to rest 00:16:56.58\00:17:00.35 and fell asleep in a cave unaware that David 00:17:00.38\00:17:04.02 was hiding in it. David and his men were hiding in the 00:17:04.05\00:17:09.12 innermost part of the cave. 00:17:09.19\00:17:10.56 As Saul was resting David quietly crept up to him 00:17:10.59\00:17:15.26 with his knife drawn but instead of stabbing Saul with it, 00:17:15.30\00:17:19.60 he secretly cut off a corner of his royal robe. 00:17:19.63\00:17:23.54 David could easily have killed Saul but he chose rather 00:17:23.57\00:17:30.68 to respect the king and spared his life. When Saul discovered 00:17:30.71\00:17:34.75 what had happened he made peace with David and 00:17:34.78\00:17:37.85 returned home but listened to where David goes in I Samuel 24: 00:17:37.89\00:17:45.13 22. While Saul said he was going home David and his men 00:17:53.03\00:17:56.40 went up to Masada the stronghold. 00:17:56.44\00:17:58.87 It seems that David was suspicious and still uncertain 00:17:58.91\00:18:03.04 about Saul's real intentions so he goes to Masada, 00:18:03.08\00:18:07.62 Matsuda the Stronghold where he knows he is safe 00:18:07.65\00:18:11.92 and from where he can keep an eye on Saul should he 00:18:11.95\00:18:14.96 double back and try to catch David off guard. 00:18:14.99\00:18:18.29 The next time we know of David here at Masada is after he was 00:18:18.33\00:18:24.33 anointed as king of all Israel at Hebron. 00:18:24.37\00:18:27.34 When his enemies, the Philistines heard about it, 00:18:27.37\00:18:31.31 they conspired to attack him early in his reign when he was 00:18:31.34\00:18:35.18 most vulnerable. 00:18:35.21\00:18:36.61 Here's what it says in II Samuel chapter five and verse 17. 00:18:36.64\00:18:41.85 Even when he is king, David still rushes to the stronghold 00:18:54.76\00:19:00.00 to Masada when he is threatened and in danger. 00:19:00.04\00:19:03.41 He knows the unique characteristics of Masada 00:19:03.44\00:19:07.14 will ensure his safety. He knows that no one can harm him there. 00:19:07.18\00:19:12.18 At Masada, he is safe, at Masada he is secure. 00:19:12.21\00:19:16.45 When you look at Masada and see the strategic advantages 00:19:23.19\00:19:27.50 this natural fortress, it's easy to understand why 00:19:27.53\00:19:31.17 these zealots Herod and David were attracted to it and 00:19:31.20\00:19:34.67 found refuge here. At first glance Masada seems the perfect 00:19:34.70\00:19:39.84 hideout for these men faced with military threats and 00:19:39.87\00:19:43.11 danger during their lives. 00:19:43.14\00:19:45.48 They all understood the importance of a strong defensive 00:19:45.51\00:19:51.05 position, so in this sense, they had a lot in common 00:19:51.09\00:19:55.32 but there's a huge difference in their positions. 00:19:55.36\00:19:59.33 The zealots and Herod trusted in Masada to protect them 00:19:59.36\00:20:03.67 and save them. While David trusted in God for protection, 00:20:03.70\00:20:08.67 How do we know this? Well, listen to what David wrote 00:20:08.70\00:20:12.64 on Psalm chapter 18 and verses one and two. 00:20:12.67\00:20:16.28 And guess what word David used for fortress? Yes, it's Matsuda, 00:20:30.33\00:20:36.90 Masada. David realized that although the clifftop fortress 00:20:36.93\00:20:42.40 was important and stronghold built and maintained by 00:20:42.44\00:20:46.41 human hands will eventually be conquered. 00:20:46.44\00:20:49.58 So David trusted only God as his ultimate protector 00:20:49.61\00:20:54.35 rather than some mountain or some other man-made option. 00:20:54.38\00:20:58.92 After staying in Masada on several occasions, 00:20:58.95\00:21:02.86 David came to realize that as secure as this rocky mountain 00:21:02.89\00:21:07.53 may seem, the Lord God alone was truly his Masada, his fortress. 00:21:07.56\00:21:13.23 He wrote three more Psalms in which he refers to God as 00:21:13.27\00:21:17.81 his stronghold, his Masada. 00:21:17.84\00:21:20.31 On one occasion during a time of great difficulty when even 00:21:20.34\00:21:26.01 friends abandoned him, he wrote this in Psalm chapter 31 00:21:26.05\00:21:30.25 and verses two and three. 00:21:30.29\00:21:32.12 Unlike the Zealots and Herod, David didn't depend on a 00:21:48.77\00:21:54.81 Doomsday Fortress when he faced times of trouble, his Masada 00:21:54.84\00:21:59.85 his fortress was the living God. Now like David and the 00:21:59.88\00:22:04.89 Zealots and Herod, we all experience times when we feel 00:22:04.92\00:22:09.22 threatened by circumstances beyond our control. 00:22:09.26\00:22:12.43 When those difficult times come what's your stronghold? 00:22:12.46\00:22:17.80 Where do you ultimately turn for help? 00:22:17.83\00:22:20.67 The Zealots and Herod looked to Masada and saw a 00:22:20.70\00:22:25.07 physical fortress that seems safe, almost impregnable 00:22:25.11\00:22:29.14 but history ultimately proved them wrong. 00:22:29.18\00:22:33.35 David spent time on the same clifftop mountain 00:22:33.38\00:22:37.59 but he came to a radically different conclusion. 00:22:37.62\00:22:41.32 David found his protection not in a physical fortress, 00:22:41.39\00:22:46.06 but in the true stronghold, the Rock of Ages, 00:22:46.09\00:22:49.80 the living fortress, God Almighty. 00:22:49.83\00:22:52.90 There are some challenges some storms of life, 00:22:52.93\00:22:57.01 that we just can't hide from when the physical Masada's 00:22:57.04\00:23:01.18 can't protect us. You know the kind, the sudden illness, 00:23:01.21\00:23:05.55 the financial mess, the unexpected loss of a loved one, 00:23:05.58\00:23:09.55 the heartbreaking betrayal of a friend. These storms 00:23:09.58\00:23:14.86 can sweep into our lives quickly and suddenly 00:23:14.89\00:23:18.33 or build up over time until they are raging all around us. 00:23:18.36\00:23:23.13 When they come, they threaten to shake us to the core 00:23:23.16\00:23:27.67 and there is nowhere we can hide from them. 00:23:27.70\00:23:30.17 Or is there? David talks about a stronghold in whom we can 00:23:30.21\00:23:36.21 take refuge. This stronghold is so strong, so impenetrable 00:23:36.24\00:23:41.15 that it's protection ensures that we cannot be shaken 00:23:41.18\00:23:46.09 even by the fiercest storm. 00:23:46.12\00:23:48.16 God is our Rock and our Fortress, our Stronghold 00:23:48.19\00:23:53.19 we can run to Him when the storms of life blow all around 00:23:53.23\00:23:58.03 us. Here's what David wrote is Psalm chapter 71 and 00:23:58.07\00:24:03.04 verses one and three. 00:24:03.10\00:24:04.44 So, when the storms of life blow in and you know they will 00:24:31.53\00:24:34.80 find your security in the mighty fortress. 00:24:34.84\00:24:38.67 Hide yourself in the all-loving and powerful arms of God, 00:24:38.71\00:24:43.01 trust Him to keep you safe and not be shaken. 00:24:43.04\00:24:47.55 The great stone fortress reminds us that we also need a fortress, 00:24:52.69\00:24:58.43 a place of refuge where we can find true peace and safety 00:24:58.46\00:25:03.13 in times of stress and danger. We too need a fortress that 00:25:03.16\00:25:07.77 is strong, reliable, and enduring... 00:25:07.80\00:25:10.47 If you are battling the challenges of life, 00:25:10.51\00:25:13.51 and are looking for a fortress that you can depend on 00:25:13.54\00:25:17.01 a fortress that will always protect you and 00:25:17.05\00:25:19.65 never let you down, then I'd like to recommend 00:25:19.68\00:25:23.08 the free gift we have for all our viewers today. 00:25:23.12\00:25:27.02 It's the booklet on the classic Shepherd's Psalm 00:25:27.06\00:25:30.86 written by David. 00:25:30.89\00:25:32.53 This booklet will share with you how David found refuge in 00:25:32.56\00:25:36.16 God during the trials and challenges of life. 00:25:36.20\00:25:39.33 This booklet is our gift to you and is absolutely free 00:25:39.37\00:25:43.97 there are no costs or obligations whatsoever. 00:25:44.01\00:25:47.21 So, make the most of this wonderful opportunity 00:25:47.24\00:25:51.35 to receive the gift we have for you today. 00:25:51.38\00:25:53.48 Here's the information you need. 00:25:53.52\00:25:56.52 Phone or text 0436.333.555 in Australia 00:25:56.55\00:26:03.29 or 020.422.2042 in New Zealand, 00:26:03.32\00:26:08.33 or 770.800.0266 in the United States. 00:26:08.36\00:26:14.30 Or visit our website at tij.tv or simply scan the QR code 00:26:14.34\00:26:20.28 on your screen and we'll send you today's free offer 00:26:20.31\00:26:23.45 totally free of charge and with no obligation. 00:26:23.48\00:26:26.92 You can also write to us at GPO Box 274 Sydney NSW 2001 00:26:26.95\00:26:33.62 Australia, or PO Box 76673 Manikau, Auckland 2241 00:26:33.66\00:26:40.90 New Zealand, or PO Box 888717 Atlanta, Georgia, 30356, USA. 00:26:40.93\00:26:49.30 You can also email us at info@tij.tv, don't delay 00:26:49.34\00:26:55.78 call or text us now. 00:26:55.81\00:26:57.28 Never forget that God is with you in the good days 00:26:57.31\00:27:03.39 and the difficult days, He'll never leave you nor forsake you. 00:27:03.42\00:27:07.76 So, if you've enjoyed today's journey to Masada, 00:27:11.29\00:27:12.69 and our reflections on the Great Rock Fortress 00:27:12.73\00:27:14.13 and it's a message for us today, then be sure to join us again 00:27:14.16\00:27:18.27 next week when we will share another of life's journeys 00:27:18.30\00:27:21.94 together.
