Rainbow Beach is a small coastal town nestled between 00:00:28.86\00:00:34.93 Frazer Island, Great Sandy National Park and the vast 00:00:34.96\00:00:38.80 Pacific Ocean on Queensland Sunshine Coast. 00:00:38.83\00:00:42.00 The town boasts a population of just over 1,200 people 00:00:42.04\00:00:47.28 but is a popular tourist destination. 00:00:47.31\00:00:50.35 Rainbow Beach sits in the Wide Bay Burnette area of 00:00:50.38\00:00:54.32 Queensland just east of Gympie and a few hundred kilometers 00:00:54.35\00:00:58.82 north of Brisbane. It draws crowds throughout the year 00:00:58.85\00:01:03.02 both as an attraction in its own right but also as a 00:01:03.06\00:01:07.40 gateway to Frazer Island. 00:01:07.43\00:01:09.50 The town gets its name from the rainbow-colored sand dunes 00:01:09.56\00:01:13.94 that surround it. The sand gets Its color from the rich mineral 00:01:13.97\00:01:18.57 deposits beneath it. The town- ship itself is wrapped in a 00:01:18.64\00:01:24.25 rustic charm where time seems to stand still and the 00:01:24.28\00:01:28.18 only thing really present is the sun, sand, and surf. 00:01:28.22\00:01:32.69 The single main street is a central attraction and weaves 00:01:32.72\00:01:37.56 a path right down to the ocean. Rainbow Beach doesn't just 00:01:37.63\00:01:42.80 give off the mellow vibes of a sleepy surfside town baking 00:01:42.86\00:01:46.47 in the sun. Then maybe go out into the water for a dip 00:04:39.11\00:04:43.85 the sand is pristine, the water clear blue and the Rainbow Sand 00:04:43.88\00:04:49.42 Dunes seem to stretch on forever. 00:04:49.45\00:04:52.05 It's no wonder that Rainbow Beach attracts so many tourists. 00:04:52.09\00:04:57.23 It is small, rustic, and has the laid-back vibe of a 00:04:57.26\00:05:02.56 lazy beach village complete with a customary surf club 00:05:02.60\00:05:06.57 and local fish and chip shop. 00:05:06.60\00:05:08.57 But that is not all there is to the allure of Rainbow Beach, 00:05:08.60\00:05:12.61 the coastal area surrounding the town is alive with sights 00:05:12.64\00:05:17.75 and sounds to dazzle the curious visitor or serious adventurer. 00:05:17.78\00:05:22.78 For example, if you are up for a little drive on the beach 00:05:22.82\00:05:27.36 you can hire a 4-wheel drive and do some serious beach 00:05:27.39\00:05:31.49 driving, on the other hand, if you prefer a lazy stroll 00:05:31.53\00:05:36.16 along the beach, you can do that too, 00:05:36.20\00:05:38.77 the area boasts a vast array of walking tracks. 00:05:38.80\00:05:46.31 Perhaps one of the most iconic stops in the area is 00:05:49.24\00:05:52.58 the Double Island Point Lighthouse. 00:05:52.61\00:05:54.48 Now Double Island Point was named in May 1770 by Captain 00:05:54.52\00:05:59.55 James Cook during his exploratory voyage along 00:05:59.59\00:06:02.59 the east coast of Australia onboard the Endeavor. 00:06:02.62\00:06:05.73 Cook named the island because of its unique natural features 00:06:05.76\00:06:10.20 He commented that while the island itself was fairly 00:06:10.23\00:06:13.47 symmetrical and equal in height, the point was made up of 00:06:13.50\00:06:18.04 such varying heights that it looked like two small islands 00:06:18.07\00:06:21.31 lying under the land. It was this that led him to Christen it 00:06:21.34\00:06:25.81 Double Island Point. The light- house on the point is in the 00:06:25.85\00:06:30.49 Cooloola Recreation Area of the Great Sandy National Park. 00:06:30.52\00:06:34.99 Getting to the lighthouse involves a 2.2-kilometer return 00:06:35.02\00:06:39.39 walk which is also accessible by high-clearance four-wheel 00:06:39.43\00:06:43.57 drives or even trail bikes. 00:06:43.60\00:06:45.77 Though short, the walk is fairly steep but totally worth the 00:06:45.80\00:06:50.64 effort. The lighthouse offers 360 degrees views of 00:06:50.67\00:06:54.44 Frazer Island, Rainbow Beach, and even Nooser on a clear day. 00:06:54.48\00:06:59.11 If you're lucky you might even catch a glimpse of whole 00:06:59.15\00:07:03.28 array of sea creatures, Dolphins, Marine Turtles, 00:07:03.32\00:07:06.86 Humpback whales and Manta Rey's all frolic in the waters 00:07:06.89\00:07:10.96 of the headland. The lighthouse is still active and located on 00:07:10.99\00:07:16.26 the Southern End of Wide Bay. The location was surveyed for a 00:07:16.30\00:07:21.00 light-house as early as 1864, but the structure was only 00:07:21.04\00:07:25.04 constructed in 1884. The tower rises 8 meters from the base 00:07:25.07\00:07:31.28 to the lantern, and is conical in shape. It's constructed with 00:07:31.31\00:07:35.92 an internal timber face and clad with galvanized steel plates 00:07:35.95\00:07:39.99 about 2 millimeters thick which have been painted white. 00:07:40.02\00:07:44.43 In 1923 the light was upgraded to a kerosene-fueled light 00:07:44.46\00:07:49.60 and the lens was upgraded in 1925, then in 1933 underwent a 00:07:49.63\00:07:56.81 major overhaul when it was converted to electricity 00:07:56.84\00:08:00.61 this significantly increased it's luminosity. 00:08:00.64\00:08:05.08 Further upgrades took place over the years and the voltage 00:08:05.11\00:08:09.58 of light was increased and finally converted to solar power 00:08:09.62\00:08:13.76 as early as 1991. Then in 1992, the very next year the 00:08:13.79\00:08:19.83 Double Island Light became automatic. 00:08:19.86\00:08:22.66 The history of Double Island Point Lighthouse dates back to 00:08:22.70\00:08:27.84 the first few decades after the colony of Queensland was formed. 00:08:27.87\00:08:31.47 In 1864 two committees were appointed to look into the issue 00:08:31.51\00:08:36.98 of coastal lighthouses, one of the sites identified as being 00:08:37.01\00:08:41.72 suitable was Double Island Point but it was nearly 20 years 00:08:41.75\00:08:46.35 before the Queensland government acted on the recommendation. 00:08:46.39\00:08:49.56 Around 1883 the port master of Queensland Commander George 00:08:49.59\00:08:55.83 Pointer Heath visited the island, when he got there 00:08:55.86\00:08:59.93 he realized that the original location for the lighthouse 00:08:59.97\00:09:03.71 which was halfway up the point was not suitable because 00:09:03.74\00:09:07.11 the light would not be visible to the north. 00:09:07.14\00:09:10.65 After careful consideration he then suggested that the 00:09:10.68\00:09:14.88 lighthouse be constructed on the summit of the point. 00:09:14.92\00:09:18.69 By June 1883, Kinders were called in for the construction 00:09:18.72\00:09:23.12 of the lighthouse, a cluster of three keeper cottages 00:09:23.16\00:09:27.30 were constructed alongside the lighthouse as well as the school 00:09:27.33\00:09:31.33 house. The lighthouse and the keeper cottages were 00:09:31.37\00:09:34.50 completed in 1884. Lighthouse keepers put in a hard night's 00:09:35.17\00:09:40.21 work, working four-hour shifts throughout the night tending 00:09:40.24\00:09:44.88 the light between dusk and dawn. 00:09:44.91\00:09:47.15 When the station was converted to electric light in 1933, the 00:09:47.18\00:09:51.72 keepers work load diminished then the staff was reduced to 00:09:51.75\00:09:56.22 two keepers who tended the light from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. 00:09:56.26\00:10:00.60 in six-hour shifts. But it was still hard work and lighthouse 00:10:00.63\00:10:05.57 keeping was not for the faint of heart. 00:10:05.63\00:10:08.30 Upon the lighthouse keepers shoulders rested the immense 00:10:08.34\00:10:12.57 responsibility of keeping the light burning clear and bright 00:10:12.61\00:10:16.78 through the long dark nights so that ships would be warned 00:10:16.81\00:10:20.88 to stay away from the rocky headland. Currently the light 00:10:20.92\00:10:25.55 which is fully automated emits a wide flash of light every 00:10:25.59\00:10:29.99 7.5 seconds which is visible to passing ships up to 26 00:10:30.03\00:10:35.36 nautical miles away which is about 48 kilometers out at sea. 00:10:35.40\00:10:40.27 Not far from the lighthouse extending from Double Island 00:10:40.30\00:10:44.71 Point down to Noosa North Shore is Teewah Beach. 00:10:44.74\00:10:48.78 The beach is a famous gateway to both Rainbow Beach and 00:10:48.81\00:10:53.28 Frazer Island and is a haven for four-wheel drive enthusiasts. 00:10:53.31\00:10:58.15 But this is not the only thing that attracts tourists to the 00:10:58.19\00:11:04.36 beach, it's also famous for its ship wrecks, among them, is the 00:11:04.39\00:11:10.47 Cherry Venture, a 1,600 ton Singaporean Cargo Ship 00:11:10.50\00:11:14.50 which ran aground here on the 6th of July, 1973. 00:11:14.54\00:11:18.97 The ship was traveling from Auckland to Brisbane when it ran 00:11:19.01\00:11:22.91 into a terrible storm. The captain and crew struggled to 00:11:22.94\00:11:26.88 battle winds that raged into 120 kilometers an hour 00:11:26.92\00:11:31.35 and waves that were 12 meters high, unfortunately, she ran 00:11:31.39\00:11:36.66 aground at Teewah Beach and remained there despite numerous 00:11:36.69\00:11:40.66 attempts to salvage her. Over time the ship became a 00:11:40.70\00:11:45.27 tourist attraction but as it started to rust and decay 00:11:45.30\00:11:49.37 it became more of a death trap than anything else. 00:11:49.40\00:11:52.71 Fearing for the safety of over eager tourists who clamored 00:11:52.74\00:11:57.08 over her rusted and jagged frame, the Queensland government 00:11:57.11\00:12:01.05 removed the wreck in 2007. 00:12:01.08\00:12:05.02 Another major landmark and attraction on Frazer island 00:12:05.05\00:12:08.46 is the shipwreck of the SS Maheno. 00:12:08.49\00:12:11.53 The ship was built in Scotland at the turn of the 20th century 00:12:11.56\00:12:15.63 and was originally designed to be a luxury passenger ship 00:12:15.66\00:12:20.44 for Trans Tasman crossing between Australia and New 00:12:20.47\00:12:24.31 Zealand. The ship later served as a hospital ship for wounded 00:12:24.34\00:12:28.41 soldiers from Gallipoli during World War I. 00:12:28.44\00:12:31.51 In 1935 was being towed to a shipyard in Osakwe, Japan 00:12:31.55\00:12:38.19 to be taken apart when she was caught up in a cyclone about 80 00:12:38.22\00:12:43.73 kilometers off the coast of Queensland. 00:12:43.76\00:12:46.56 The towline snapped and the 9th of July the Maheno 00:12:46.59\00:12:51.97 ran aground on the East Coast of Frazer Island. 00:12:52.00\00:12:54.54 A few years later during World War II, the wreck was 00:12:54.57\00:12:59.07 used by the Royal Australian Air Force as a target for 00:12:59.11\00:13:02.98 bombing practice and later as an explosive demolition target 00:13:03.01\00:13:08.22 by the Frazer Island Commander School. 00:13:08.25\00:13:11.09 Interestingly the marri word Maheno means island 00:13:11.75\00:13:16.66 and the wreck now lies along the shore of Frazer Island 00:13:16.69\00:13:20.96 on 75 Mile Beach rusted and browned in the sun with 00:13:21.00\00:13:26.33 more than three stories of its structure sunk into the sand 00:13:26.37\00:13:30.41 near the fast-flowing Eli Creek. 00:13:30.44\00:13:32.91 Even with the breathtaking beauty and attractions 00:13:32.94\00:13:42.12 surrounding Rainbow Beach and Double Island Point 00:13:42.15\00:13:45.29 perhaps the highlight and feature attraction of this area 00:13:45.32\00:13:49.42 is Frazer Island. A sliver or land just hovering just beside 00:13:49.46\00:13:53.50 mainland Australia and only accessible by barge or car 00:13:53.53\00:13:59.43 ferry. Frazer Island is a heritage listed island and is 00:13:59.47\00:14:04.41 considered the largest sand island in the world. 00:14:04.44\00:14:07.08 The Australian Census Bureau puts the population 00:14:07.11\00:14:11.11 on the island at just 182, the island is separated from the 00:14:11.15\00:14:17.02 mainland by the Great Sandy Straight, a strip of ocean 00:14:17.05\00:14:21.42 70 kilometers long tucked between Frazer Island 00:14:21.46\00:14:25.63 and the Queensland Coast. The island covers 1,840 square 00:14:25.66\00:14:31.90 kilometers and has a small cluster of scattered satellite 00:14:31.93\00:14:36.50 islands it's Queensland largest island and Australia's 6th 00:14:36.54\00:14:42.38 largest island. Frazer Island is populated with lush rainforests 00:14:42.41\00:14:48.52 fragrant Eucaptalyus woodlands and main grove forests. 00:14:48.55\00:14:52.75 Scattered across the interior of the island are Wallaman 00:14:52.79\00:14:57.26 Peat Swaths and a chain of inland freshwater lakes. 00:14:57.29\00:15:01.23 And then at the water's edge are great sand dunes 00:15:01.26\00:15:05.00 and pretty coastal heat. The island is made up of sand 00:15:05.03\00:15:09.97 that has accumulated over volcanic bedrock unlike other 00:15:10.01\00:15:14.84 sand dunes. the dunes on Frazer Island are teaming with 00:15:14.88\00:15:19.05 plant life, mostly due to a natural occurring species 00:15:19.08\00:15:23.32 of fungi that thrive on the island which releases nutrients 00:15:23.35\00:15:28.09 that are conducive for plant growth. 00:15:28.12\00:15:30.56 In addition to the the abundant plant life Frazer Island is also 00:15:30.59\00:15:35.96 home to various species of mammals, birds, reptiles, 00:15:36.00\00:15:40.64 and amphibians. You can see dingo's foraging on the beach 00:15:40.67\00:15:44.67 and the occasional salt-water crocodile lurking among the 00:15:44.71\00:15:48.91 Mangroves. 00:15:48.94\00:15:51.98 The first European to discover the island was Captain 00:15:52.01\00:15:55.68 James Cook when he sailed past the island in May 1770 during 00:15:55.72\00:16:00.96 his exploration of the Australian Coast. 00:16:00.99\00:16:03.32 Though Cook didn't name the island he name Indian Head 00:16:03.36\00:16:08.16 when he spotted a group of Aboriginal people congregating 00:16:08.20\00:16:12.00 on the headland. Then in 1799 Matthew Flinders the first man 00:16:12.03\00:16:17.77 to circumnavigate the Australian mainland passed the island. 00:16:17.81\00:16:22.01 In 1802 he landed at Sandy Cape, the northernmost point 00:16:22.04\00:16:27.35 of the island while charting the topography of Harvey Bay. 00:16:27.38\00:16:31.19 The Butchulla people called the island K'gari 00:16:31.22\00:16:35.42 and later for a short spell the island was known as 00:16:35.46\00:16:38.73 Great Sandy Island but then became known as Frazer Island 00:16:38.76\00:16:43.53 because of stories of a ship- wreck survivor named 00:16:43.57\00:16:47.14 Elisa Frazer. Now Elisa Frazer was the wife of James Frazer 00:16:47.17\00:16:53.07 Captain of the Sterling Castle a Scottish Vessel which sailed 00:16:53.11\00:16:58.21 from Greenock in Scotland bound for the colony of Sydney 00:16:58.25\00:17:01.98 in 1831. In 1836 while on a voyage under the command of 00:17:02.02\00:17:08.09 Captain Frazer, the Sterling Castle was wrecked on the 00:17:08.12\00:17:11.93 Great Barrier Reef near present day Rock Hampton in Queensland. 00:17:11.96\00:17:16.30 When the ship struck the reef, they were hundreds of kilometers 00:17:16.33\00:17:20.70 north of the island. The passengers launched two 00:17:20.74\00:17:24.94 life-boats and set a course south, they landed on the beach 00:17:24.97\00:17:29.54 on K'gari on the northern side of Waddy Point, 00:17:29.58\00:17:33.18 there were 11 survivors on board and they split up into two 00:17:33.21\00:17:37.85 groups. Most of the survivors dies in the following weeks 00:17:37.89\00:17:42.26 most likely from starvation. James and Elisa Frazer 00:17:42.29\00:17:47.13 were part of the second group who decided to trek south, 00:17:47.16\00:17:51.23 they foraged for berries and ate pandanus until they reached 00:17:51.27\00:17:55.34 Hook Point, the southernmost tip of the island. 00:17:55.37\00:17:58.41 James and Elisa were captured by the Butchella people, 00:17:58.44\00:18:02.98 James Frazer who was in poor health soon became weakened 00:18:03.01\00:18:07.58 and incapacitated, he died about eight days later and was buried 00:18:07.62\00:18:12.75 on the island by the tribe. Six weeks after landing on the 00:18:12.79\00:18:17.19 island Elisa was found by John Graham an Irish convict 00:18:17.23\00:18:22.23 who was part of the Morten Bay Penal Colony. 00:18:22.26\00:18:25.20 Graham understood the dialect of the Butchura people 00:18:25.23\00:18:28.84 and managed to successfully negotiate Elisa's release 00:18:28.87\00:18:33.44 and get back to Teewah Beach where they met a small company 00:18:33.48\00:18:37.01 of soldiers and convict volunteers who were awaiting 00:18:37.05\00:18:40.82 their arrival. Elisa was transferred from Double Island 00:18:40.85\00:18:46.22 Point to the Morton Bay Penal Colony and then found her way 00:18:46.25\00:18:50.76 back to Sydney where she married Captain Alexander Green and 00:18:50.79\00:18:55.06 returned to England aboard his ship the Mediterranean Packet. 00:18:55.10\00:18:59.40 Over the years, Elisa Frazer turned into somewhat of an 00:18:59.43\00:19:04.54 Australian icon, she was featured as a character in 00:19:04.57\00:19:08.18 several works of fiction and a movie. 00:19:08.21\00:19:10.75 The island, which by this point had been christened twice 00:19:10.78\00:19:15.58 first by the Butchura tribe and and then by the European 00:19:15.62\00:19:19.49 Settlers was renamed Frazer Island in honor of Elisa Frazer 00:19:19.52\00:19:24.93 and her experiences there. 00:19:24.96\00:19:26.90 The raw beauty and appeal of the Frazer Coast is breathtaking 00:19:26.93\00:19:35.14 wide sandy beaches stretching endlessly in every direction 00:19:35.17\00:19:40.58 clear as earth skies reach down to meet the blue-green ocean, 00:19:40.61\00:19:45.05 it seems so pristine and unspoiled, a paradise waiting 00:19:45.08\00:19:50.85 to be experienced and explored. 00:19:50.89\00:19:54.72 But this paradise can also teach us some valuable spiritual 00:19:59.16\00:20:03.26 lessons, lessons that can give us deeper insights into how to 00:20:03.30\00:20:07.97 lives that are both fulfilling and successful 00:20:08.00\00:20:10.71 regardless of the storms that life might toss our way. 00:20:10.74\00:20:14.61 The first lesson can be gleaned from the constant unfailing 00:20:14.64\00:20:19.88 light of the Double Island Point Lighthouse. 00:20:19.91\00:20:22.65 Without that lighthouse countless ships would 00:20:22.68\00:20:26.65 lose their way as they as they sailed across the dark waters 00:20:26.69\00:20:29.32 of the Pacific Ocean and end up wrecked and battered 00:20:29.36\00:20:33.16 off the coast of the Australian Mainland. 00:20:33.19\00:20:35.50 In John 8:12, Jesus said, 00:20:35.53\00:20:39.73 And again in Psalm 119: 105 the Bible says, 00:20:47.11\00:20:52.38 The Bible points us to Jesus, the only true and unfailing 00:20:58.25\00:21:02.86 beacon of hope in this dark world, the only one who can 00:21:02.89\00:21:07.26 guide us safely to shore, protecting us from the rocky 00:21:07.30\00:21:10.97 reefs that threaten to wreck us and to destroy our lives. 00:21:11.00\00:21:14.70 Jesus is also the divine light- housekeeper and from the 00:21:14.74\00:21:20.24 lighthouse of His Word He shines the bright beams 00:21:20.28\00:21:23.88 of His love and truth. 00:21:23.91\00:21:25.25 As sailors on the windswept sea of life we may safely look 00:21:25.28\00:21:29.92 to the Bible and find a map that will help us navigate our 00:21:29.95\00:21:33.82 ways safely into the harbor. 00:21:33.86\00:21:36.79 But it's not only the Double Island Point Lighthouse 00:21:36.83\00:21:40.16 that has a lesson to teach us, Frazer Island has a lesson 00:21:40.20\00:21:45.30 tucked into the sand for us as well 00:21:45.33\00:21:48.14 Frazer Island is the largest sand island in the world. 00:21:48.17\00:21:52.44 Now sand can be beautiful just as we've seen but it doesn't 00:21:52.47\00:21:58.75 provide a steady foundation to build anything on. 00:21:58.78\00:22:02.78 Speaking about the kind of relationship we need to have 00:22:02.82\00:22:06.79 with God's Word, Jesus told a parable in Matthew 7: 24-26. 00:22:06.82\00:22:13.03 There Jesus says. 00:22:13.06\00:22:15.60 The man who built his house on the rock was able to extend 00:22:24.97\00:22:29.48 the storms and floods that lie through him. 00:22:29.51\00:22:32.41 When everything around him seem- ed to be shifting and changing 00:22:32.45\00:22:36.62 the rock beneath his feet was a strong foundation 00:22:36.65\00:22:40.79 and held firm and kept him from sinking into the churning 00:22:40.82\00:22:44.86 waters around him. 00:22:44.89\00:22:47.10 Then, Jesus contrast this wise man with a man who was not 00:22:47.13\00:22:52.33 so wise. In Matthew 27:26 Jesus says. 00:22:52.37\00:22:57.47 When the rains came down and the floods swept across 00:23:09.32\00:23:12.49 the plains turning the plains into a quagmire of quicksand 00:23:12.52\00:23:16.56 the foolish man and everything he owned was sucked down into 00:23:16.59\00:23:21.40 its murky depths. 00:23:21.43\00:23:22.76 Sand isn't the best foundation to build on, it can shift and 00:23:22.80\00:23:27.70 change beneath your feet bury you as it shapeshifts and 00:23:27.74\00:23:31.87 morphs. Foundations are important, a good house needs a 00:23:31.91\00:23:37.81 solid foundation in order to keep it standing through the 00:23:37.85\00:23:42.48 most severe weather conditions. Our lives are a lot like a 00:23:42.52\00:23:46.89 house, the foundation is the most important part and Jesus 00:23:46.92\00:23:51.49 tells us that the right foundation, the best foundation 00:23:51.53\00:23:55.43 we can have is His Word, the Bible. Not just to listen to it 00:23:55.46\00:24:00.30 and then wander away but to really hear it and be willing 00:24:00.34\00:24:04.87 to follow its guidelines and principles. 00:24:04.91\00:24:07.61 But too often, like the foolish man in the story we focus on 00:24:07.64\00:24:13.48 building the walls and the roof, we fixate on shiny fittings 00:24:13.52\00:24:18.39 and expensive floors and feature walls and paint and lighting 00:24:18.42\00:24:23.12 and even good furniture. We focus on the peripherals 00:24:23.16\00:24:27.86 the non-essentials and then one day when our health fails us 00:24:27.90\00:24:33.54 or the economy fails us or we lose our job or like something 00:24:33.57\00:24:38.94 out of the twilight zone, a global pandemic sweeps across 00:24:38.97\00:24:42.91 the world, we find that the sand beneath our feet is shifting 00:24:42.94\00:24:47.68 and cracks begin to appear. Our walls collapse on us 00:24:47.72\00:24:52.22 our expensive floors split open and our pretty furniture 00:24:52.25\00:24:56.93 and fittings are swallowed whole. We find that because 00:24:56.96\00:25:01.56 we didn't take the time to set down the solid foundation 00:25:01.60\00:25:06.00 the storms and challenges of life have come along and swept 00:25:06.03\00:25:11.11 away everything else. But luckily for us, 00:25:11.14\00:25:15.14 it's never too late to rebuild. God's Word doesn't have an 00:25:15.18\00:25:20.85 expiry date attached. Jesus offered to be the Rock 00:25:20.88\00:25:24.35 beneath our feet is still good. We only need to take advantage 00:25:24.39\00:25:28.69 of it and cash it in. The truth is only the Bible can keep your 00:25:28.72\00:25:35.36 world from dipping and swaying when the earth beneath you 00:25:35.40\00:25:39.50 shifts. Only the Bible can provide the solid foundation 00:25:39.53\00:25:44.67 we need to deal with the challenges of life, 00:25:44.71\00:25:47.48 only the Bible can lead you to a safe harbor when you seem 00:25:47.51\00:25:52.61 to be surrounded by jagged reefs that threaten to tear 00:25:52.65\00:25:57.09 into the hull of your life. Only the Bible can offer you 00:25:57.12\00:26:01.56 a hope in despair, eternity in the face of transients 00:26:01.59\00:26:06.16 and peace in the face of turmoil. 00:26:06.19\00:26:09.33 When everything else is shifting, Jesus is a rock that 00:26:09.36\00:26:14.84 will stand firm, it's not too late to be like the wise man 00:26:14.87\00:26:19.17 and build your house on the rock, that's where you'll find 00:26:19.21\00:26:23.85 true inner peace and happiness. 00:26:23.88\00:26:26.55 If you would like to find a sure and solid foundation 00:26:26.58\00:26:30.52 to build your life on, then I'd like to recommend 00:26:30.55\00:26:34.39 the free gift we have for all our Incredible Journey viewers 00:26:34.42\00:26:38.79 today.
