Space, immeasurable distances, incalculable numbers, 00:00:32.93\00:00:37.37 incomparable speeds, incomprehensible spheres, 00:00:37.40\00:00:42.27 inconceivable power. 00:00:42.30\00:00:44.47 The magnitude of space is awe inspiring, the sheer vastness 00:00:44.51\00:00:49.11 of it along with the trillions upon trillions of objects 00:00:49.14\00:00:53.38 in the many billion galaxies of the universe is almost 00:00:53.42\00:00:57.59 incomprehensible to the human brain. 00:00:57.65\00:01:00.39 For instance, there are more stars 00:01:00.46\00:01:03.16 in space than grains of sand in the world. 00:01:03.19\00:01:06.33 In fact, there are 10 times more stars in the night sky 00:01:06.36\00:01:10.87 than grains of sand on all the beaches of planet earth 00:01:10.90\00:01:15.30 and then in addition there are probably more planets than 00:01:15.34\00:01:19.97 stars. And remember this, we can only see a small percentage of 00:01:20.01\00:01:24.21 the universe from earth, even with an optical telescope. 00:01:24.25\00:01:27.78 The sheer size of space makes it impossible to accurately 00:01:27.82\00:01:33.09 predict just how many stars we have, they're really 00:01:33.12\00:01:37.59 completely uncountable and just think of the immensity of space. 00:01:37.63\00:01:42.56 For example, our earth could fit into the sun 1.3 million 00:01:42.60\00:01:48.07 times and one of the closest large galaxies to us is the 00:01:48.10\00:01:52.94 Andromeda Galaxy that is 2.5 million light years away. 00:01:52.97\00:01:59.01 Yes, it's all enough to boggle the mind but by understanding 00:01:59.05\00:02:04.19 our galaxy, we may be able to better understand our place 00:02:04.22\00:02:08.36 in it and how this world came to be. 00:02:08.39\00:02:11.83 So, come with me on a journey through space and make 00:02:11.86\00:02:16.10 discoveries that are intriguing and more amazing than you could 00:02:16.13\00:02:20.44 ever imagine. Yes, spectacular adventure awaits the person 00:02:20.47\00:02:26.01 who reads what is written in the night sky. 00:02:26.04\00:02:29.18 Venture onwards with me to the farthest depths of our 00:02:29.21\00:02:33.38 Milky Way galaxy and be on to the biggest and brightest stars 00:02:33.42\00:02:38.09 light years away. 00:02:38.12\00:02:39.95 The stars have a message for us today, a message that will 00:02:39.99\00:02:45.63 hold you spellbound. 00:02:45.66\00:02:47.20 Here rising above the wheat and canola fields about 00:03:05.98\00:03:09.75 380 kilometers west of Sydney in central New South Whales 00:03:09.78\00:03:14.12 Australia is the world-famous CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope. 00:03:14.16\00:03:19.59 The Parkes Observatory was first officially opened on the 00:03:19.73\00:03:24.00 thirty-first of October of 1961 and is one of the largest 00:03:24.03\00:03:28.40 single-dish telescopes in the southern hemisphere dedicated 00:03:28.44\00:03:32.57 to astronomy. The telescope works 24 hours a day 00:03:32.61\00:03:36.95 and is now 10,000 times more sensitive to signals 00:03:36.98\00:03:41.32 than it was when it was first built. 00:03:41.35\00:03:43.82 The Parkes Observatory is run by the CSIRO, Australia's 00:03:43.85\00:03:49.72 National Science Agency and is considered by many 00:03:49.76\00:03:53.56 to be the most successful scientific instrument ever built 00:03:53.60\00:03:56.97 in Australia and was recently added to the National Heritage 00:03:57.00\00:04:01.10 List. While it is operated primarily for astronomy research 00:04:01.14\00:04:06.21 the Parkes telescope has a long history of being contracted 00:04:06.24\00:04:10.81 by NASA and other International Space Agencies to track and 00:04:10.85\00:04:15.48 receive data from spacecraft. 00:04:15.52\00:04:17.55 It is affectionately known as "The Dish" after the 00:04:17.59\00:04:22.62 entertaining movie based loosely on the role of the Parkes 00:04:22.66\00:04:26.56 Telescope in one of humanities most significant achievements 00:04:26.59\00:04:30.10 "The Apollo 11 Moon Landing." 00:04:30.13\00:04:33.10 Roger, go for one injection. At precisely 12:56 p.m. 00:04:33.13\00:04:37.71 on the 21st of July 1969 Australian Eastern Standard Time 00:04:37.74\00:04:42.64 mankind took its one giant leap and 600,000,000 people 00:04:42.68\00:04:48.48 one 5th of the world's population at that time watched 00:04:48.52\00:04:52.99 as Neil Armstrong took his first step on the moon. 00:04:53.02\00:04:56.49 It's one small step for man... The NASA Facility at Goldstone 00:04:56.52\00:05:07.00 California and Honeysuckle Creek near Canberra were the source 00:05:07.04\00:05:12.04 of the first 8.5 minutes of the first moon-walk TV pictures 00:05:12.07\00:05:17.05 until NASA decided that the larger 64 Meter Parkes Radio 00:05:17.08\00:05:22.05 Telescope was providing better images of the Apollo 11 00:05:22.08\00:05:26.15 Astronauts exploring the moon surface. 00:05:26.19\00:05:28.96 So, for the following five hours the live broadcast came from 00:05:28.99\00:05:34.63 this telescope here at Parkes. The signal was split in two 00:05:34.66\00:05:39.80 one went to the ABC, Australian Broadcasting Commission in 00:05:39.83\00:05:44.47 Sydney for Australian distribution and the other 00:05:44.51\00:05:48.04 was sent halfway around the world to Houston, TX 00:05:48.08\00:05:51.95 for International Broadcast which added a slight delay. 00:05:51.98\00:05:55.92 So Australian audiences can boast that they saw Neil 00:05:55.95\00:06:01.32 Armstrong's Historic first step, 0.3 seconds before the rest of 00:06:01.36\00:06:06.19 the world. So we were the first to see it all happen. 00:06:06.23\00:06:10.63 Now distances in space are so vast that we cannot talk 00:06:16.81\00:06:21.28 of them in terms of kilometers or miles so astronomers 00:06:21.31\00:06:26.51 use much bigger units of measurements. 00:06:26.55\00:06:29.08 They use a measurement which is called a Light year, 00:06:29.12\00:06:32.92 it's the distance light travels in one year. 00:06:32.95\00:06:36.56 A ray of light travels in space at a speed of 300,000 km a 00:06:36.59\00:06:43.47 second or 18 million km a minute, a speed so great that 00:06:43.50\00:06:50.17 traveling at the speed of light, we could circle the earth eight 00:06:50.21\00:06:54.48 times every time your heart beats. 00:06:54.51\00:06:56.18 This is the measuring stick of the skies of space. 00:06:56.21\00:07:00.98 Let's ride on the winds of light to the sun and from there 00:07:01.02\00:07:05.75 take a journey around our solar system. 00:07:05.79\00:07:09.56 The trip to the sun is 150 million km and will only take 00:07:09.59\00:07:16.83 us 8 minutes traveling at the speed of light. 00:07:16.87\00:07:19.63 The sun is the star at the center of our solar system 00:07:19.67\00:07:23.84 where it is by far the largest object. It's so massive 00:07:23.87\00:07:28.94 that it contains 99.8% of our solar systems mass and is 00:07:28.98\00:07:34.68 roughly 109 times the diameter of the earth. 00:07:34.72\00:07:38.79 Over one million earths could fit inside the sun. 00:07:38.82\00:07:43.16 The gravity of the sun is what keeps all of the planets 00:07:43.19\00:07:47.93 moons and bodies within our solar system together. 00:07:47.96\00:07:51.33 The sun is our nuclear power plant in the sky and provides 00:07:51.37\00:07:57.07 the heat needed to sustain light from planet earth. 00:07:57.11\00:08:00.54 Without the sun, we wouldn't exist, it drives our seasons 00:08:00.58\00:08:06.75 ocean currents, weather, and climate and now we continue 00:08:06.78\00:08:12.32 our journey. Bidding farewell to the sun, we seat ourselves 00:08:12.35\00:08:17.06 comfortably on a beam of light for our 18 km imaginary flight 00:08:17.09\00:08:22.73 across the solar system. 00:08:22.76\00:08:24.70 After three minutes we reach the planet closest to the sun 00:08:24.73\00:08:29.70 Mercury, it's the smallest planet in our solar system 00:08:29.74\00:08:33.58 Its surface is very much like our moon dry, dusty and 00:08:33.61\00:08:40.08 pitted with craters, it has the most extreme temperature 00:08:40.12\00:08:44.52 fluctuations in the solar system temperatures vary between 00:08:44.55\00:08:50.23 400 degrees Celsius and -180 degrees Celsius. 00:08:50.26\00:08:55.33 It's hard to imagine a more inhospitable place, 00:08:55.36\00:08:59.43 life couldn't exist on this planet and so we are soon 00:08:59.47\00:09:04.47 on our way again. Another three minutes of travel on our 00:09:04.51\00:09:09.21 light beam brings us to the second planet from the sun 00:09:09.24\00:09:12.35 called Venus. It's practically the same size as our earth 00:09:12.38\00:09:17.52 and is the third brightest object in our sky after the 00:09:17.55\00:09:21.49 sun and moon. 00:09:21.52\00:09:22.86 Venus shines so brightly that it's the first planet to appear 00:09:22.89\00:09:27.80 in the sky, after the sun sets, or the last to disappear 00:09:27.83\00:09:32.70 before the sun rises. It's often called "The Morning Star" 00:09:32.73\00:09:37.51 or "The Evening Star". Venus reflects the light 00:09:37.54\00:09:41.41 from the sun and is named after the Roman God of Love and 00:09:41.44\00:09:45.28 Beauty. Now two minutes on from Venus on our light beam 00:09:45.31\00:09:50.35 brings us to the third planet from the sun. 00:09:50.39\00:09:53.49 Earth, our home planet, earth is a world unlike any other 00:09:53.52\00:10:00.20 it's the only place in the known universe confirmed to host life. 00:10:00.23\00:10:05.40 This is because it has two very important things that 00:10:05.43\00:10:09.64 living creatures need to survive, lots of oxygen 00:10:09.67\00:10:13.44 and lots of water. Its distance from the sun means its 00:10:13.48\00:10:19.08 not too hot and not too cold for creatures to live on too. 00:10:19.11\00:10:23.42 It's the fifth-largest planet in our solar system and the 00:10:23.45\00:10:27.82 only one known for sure to have liquid water on its surface. 00:10:27.86\00:10:32.26 Ahead of us now, four minutes away is Mars, 00:10:32.29\00:10:36.73 the fourth planet from the sun. Mars is named after the Roman 00:10:36.77\00:10:41.90 god of war, it's also known as the Red Planet 00:10:41.94\00:10:46.04 because well, it's red. 00:10:46.07\00:10:49.34 Mars is the second smallest planet in our solar system 00:10:49.38\00:10:54.38 after Mercury. One of NASA's latest projects that have 00:10:54.42\00:10:59.79 captivated the interest of the world is the landing of the 00:10:59.82\00:11:03.06 Perseverance Rover on Mars on the 18th of February 2021. 00:11:03.09\00:11:08.50 And then on the 19th of April 2021 Ingenuity, the first 00:11:08.53\00:11:15.27 robotic helicopter completed the first power-controlled flight by 00:11:15.30\00:11:19.77 an aircraft on Mars. 00:11:19.81\00:11:22.01 The Rover carried signed instruments to collect 00:11:22.04\00:11:25.98 soil samples and to look for signs of ancient life. 00:11:26.01\00:11:29.68 It even has audio/visual technology which captured the 00:11:29.72\00:11:34.02 flight of Ingenuity, the Mars Helicopter. 00:11:34.06\00:11:37.63 This footage will let us see and hear what it's like 00:11:37.66\00:11:41.90 to touch down on another world for the first time ever. 00:11:41.93\00:11:45.83 Mars has long intrigued us and has a special appeal 00:11:45.87\00:11:51.17 but we must move on. 00:11:51.21\00:11:53.71 We now head for the fifth planet from the sun 00:11:53.74\00:11:57.05 and by far the largest planet in the solar system. 00:11:57.08\00:12:00.58 Jupiter. Traveling at the speed of light, it takes 30 minutes 00:12:00.62\00:12:05.85 to get there, we are awed by its size, it's more than twice 00:12:05.89\00:12:10.86 as massive as all the other planets in our solar system 00:12:10.89\00:12:14.96 combined, it would require 1,312 worlds the size of 00:12:15.00\00:12:22.44 planet earth to match the size of Jupiter. 00:12:22.47\00:12:25.54 Fittingly it's named after the king of the gods in Roman 00:12:25.57\00:12:30.75 Mythology, it's also the fastest spinning planet and has the 00:12:30.78\00:12:36.35 shortest day of all the planets. But the call of the outer 00:12:36.38\00:12:41.52 planets beckons. Another 36 minutes into outer space 00:12:41.56\00:12:45.89 brings us to Saturn, the sixth planet from the sun 00:12:45.93\00:12:50.03 and the beautiful queen of the solar system. 00:12:50.07\00:12:53.30 Saturn is the second largest planet after Jupiter 00:12:53.34\00:12:57.81 and is adorned with a magnificent system of icy rings 00:12:57.84\00:13:01.78 composed of billions of tiny chunks of ice and rock. 00:13:01.81\00:13:06.45 Saturn is named after the Roman god of agriculture and harvest. 00:13:06.48\00:13:12.02 now the trip from Saturn to Uranus, the seventh planet 00:13:12.05\00:13:16.49 from the sun takes an hour and a quarter and remember 00:13:16.52\00:13:20.70 every minute we travel 18 million kilometers. 00:13:20.73\00:13:24.40 Uranus was named after the Greek god of the sky 00:13:24.43\00:13:29.40 and is a giant ice planet, four time larger than our earth. 00:13:29.44\00:13:34.44 It's the coldest planet in our solar system and makes one trip 00:13:34.48\00:13:39.38 around the sun every 84 years. Rushing on we travel for 00:13:39.41\00:13:46.19 1.5 hours to Neptune, the eighth and last planet in the 00:13:46.22\00:13:50.36 solar system. It's the farthest planet from our sun 00:13:50.39\00:13:54.30 more than 30 times further than the sun than earth is. 00:13:54.33\00:13:58.93 It's dark, cold, and very windy and is named after the Greek god 00:13:58.97\00:14:05.17 of the sea. This planet is so far from earth that it can 00:14:05.21\00:14:10.18 only be studied with the greatest difficulty using 00:14:10.21\00:14:13.42 strong telescopes. For many years we thought that there were 00:14:13.45\00:14:17.95 nine planets in our solar system but in August 2006, 00:14:17.99\00:14:23.09 the International Astronomical Union downgraded the status of 00:14:23.12\00:14:27.86 Pluto, which used to be the ninth planet, to that of a 00:14:27.90\00:14:31.47 dwarf planet, that means its a celestial body that orbits 00:14:31.50\00:14:36.50 the sun but doesn't meet the criteria of a true planet. 00:14:36.54\00:14:40.71 So our journey across the solar system ends at Neptune. 00:14:40.74\00:14:45.81 Now it's difficult to grasp just how many millions of 00:14:45.85\00:14:49.88 kilometers we have traveled in such a short time. 00:14:49.92\00:14:53.05 In fact, traveling at the speed of light, we've crossed our 00:14:53.09\00:14:57.76 entire solar system in about five and a half hours 00:14:57.79\00:15:01.60 and when we reach Neptune, we're about four and a half 00:15:01.63\00:15:05.70 billion kilometers from the Parke's Dish. 00:15:05.73\00:15:09.24 But notice what we have discovered about our 00:15:09.27\00:15:12.44 solar system, these eight planets and their moons 00:15:12.47\00:15:16.44 swing majestically around the sun all timed to perfection 00:15:16.48\00:15:21.48 moving consistently in their orbits and spinning perfectly 00:15:21.52\00:15:25.82 on their axis from little Mercury to far away Neptune. 00:15:25.85\00:15:30.26 we find rhythmic perfection, we see that order and design 00:15:30.29\00:15:35.86 no chance and Chaos can control the movements 00:15:35.90\00:15:39.53 of the heavenly bodies. 00:15:39.57\00:15:41.40 Now that we've crossed our solar system our journey 00:15:44.37\00:15:47.58 through star-land has only just begun. 00:15:47.61\00:15:50.15 Our solar system is part of the Milky Way Galaxy 00:15:50.18\00:15:54.48 so now let's leave our solar system and set out towards 00:15:54.52\00:15:59.05 one of our nearest stars in this galaxy. 00:15:59.09\00:16:02.02 Alpha Centauri, back into our beam of light and traveling 00:16:02.06\00:16:06.76 at 18 km a minute, it takes us four years and four months. 00:16:06.80\00:16:11.97 Now that's so far that it's virtually impossible for us 00:16:12.00\00:16:16.50 to grasp the immensity and glory of space so consider this. 00:16:16.54\00:16:21.81 We've just traveled through our solar system with its 00:16:21.84\00:16:25.31 single sun, it's a sun system. 00:16:25.35\00:16:28.12 Our sun takes its entire family of planets and moons 00:16:28.15\00:16:32.29 with it on its journey through space. Our sun and solar system 00:16:32.32\00:16:37.49 belong to the Milky Way Galaxy. 00:16:37.53\00:16:40.03 Now to help put this in perspective, if the Milky Way 00:16:40.06\00:16:44.53 Galaxy were the size of the continent of Australia, 00:16:44.57\00:16:47.80 our solar system would fit in a coffee cup. 00:16:47.84\00:16:52.07 Now, try to get your head around this. 00:16:52.11\00:16:56.04 Just in our Milky Way Galaxy, there are over 200 billion stars 00:16:56.08\00:17:02.18 like our sun, each with their own family of planets and moons. 00:17:02.22\00:17:06.69 Our sun is just one of those 200 billion stars that make up 00:17:06.72\00:17:12.66 the Milky Way Galaxy but that is not all. 00:17:12.69\00:17:16.26 There are at least 10 billion galaxies in the universe. 00:17:16.30\00:17:21.30 Our Milky Way Galaxy with its 200 billion stars is just one 00:17:21.34\00:17:27.64 of the 10 billion galaxies that make up the universe. 00:17:27.68\00:17:31.41 Now our journey so far has taken us through our 00:17:31.45\00:17:36.02 solar system and far into our Milky Way Galaxy. 00:17:36.05\00:17:40.32 But can you believe that this is still only the beginning 00:17:40.36\00:17:44.96 of the universe. So, we now leave the Milky Way Galaxy 00:17:44.99\00:17:50.20 and travel to one of the closest large galaxies called Andromeda. 00:17:50.23\00:17:55.84 Now Andromeda is approximately the same size and shape 00:17:55.87\00:18:00.68 as our Milky Way Galaxy. Traveling at the speed of light 00:18:00.71\00:18:05.11 it would take us 750,000 years to reach Andromeda 00:18:05.15\00:18:10.99 and we're still only on the doorstep of the universe. 00:18:11.02\00:18:14.79 We are still only in our neighborhood as it were. 00:18:14.82\00:18:18.79 Now Andromeda is a galaxy of mighty suns with cluster after 00:18:18.83\00:18:24.67 cluster, sun system after sun system all whirling in perfect 00:18:24.70\00:18:30.11 balance and precision through space. 00:18:30.14\00:18:32.77 But our journey would not be complete without viewing Orion, 00:18:32.81\00:18:37.45 the majesty of the heavens, a little closer to home. 00:18:37.48\00:18:41.38 It's one of the most recognizable patterns in the 00:18:41.42\00:18:44.72 night sky, visible around the world. 00:18:44.75\00:18:47.32 The appearance of the Orion Nebula is one of the most 00:18:47.36\00:18:51.49 beautiful sights in the heavens, is described as that of 00:18:51.53\00:18:56.40 light shining and glowing behind Herculean walls of Ivory 00:18:56.43\00:19:00.80 or pearl, walls studded with millions of diamonds points 00:19:00.84\00:19:05.31 and everyone is a shining star. 00:19:05.34\00:19:08.24 And these stars are in reality giant blazing suns 00:19:08.28\00:19:13.48 many of them dwarfing our sun in size. 00:19:13.52\00:19:18.89 It's difficult for the human mind to comprehend innumerable 00:19:18.92\00:19:23.39 worlds, immeasurable space and the intricate design 00:19:23.43\00:19:27.40 evident everywhere in the universe, yet this incredibly 00:19:27.43\00:19:32.00 complex universe is as smooth running as a delicate 00:19:32.03\00:19:36.60 finely tuned watch. 00:19:36.64\00:19:38.27 Just think billions of galaxies traveling at phenomenal speed 00:19:38.31\00:19:44.38 in their appointed course through the skies with timing 00:19:44.41\00:19:48.12 so precise that astronomers can predict the 00:19:48.15\00:19:52.52 location of these heavenly bodies thousands of years 00:19:52.55\00:19:55.59 in the future. It's no wonder humans have been fascinated 00:19:55.62\00:20:01.13 and amazed by the beauty and precision of the stars. 00:20:01.16\00:20:05.00 Since ancient times for thousands of years the beauty 00:20:05.03\00:20:09.94 of the night sky has enchanted and mystified people all over 00:20:09.97\00:20:14.64 the world. Astronomy was the first science of the ancient 00:20:14.68\00:20:19.88 civilizations, they created calendars and time measurements 00:20:19.91\00:20:24.85 based on the movements of the heavenly bodies and in a sense 00:20:24.89\00:20:29.52 their lives were governed by the seasons and the time 00:20:29.56\00:20:32.96 measurements associated with the stars and planets. 00:20:32.99\00:20:36.30 The heavenly bodies became so important to the lives 00:20:36.33\00:20:40.17 of these people that they began to worship them. 00:20:40.20\00:20:43.14 The ancient Egyptians applied their astronomy knowledge 00:20:43.17\00:20:47.74 to their immense building projects, they were able to 00:20:47.78\00:20:51.35 construct pyramids with amazing accuracy and planned 00:20:51.38\00:20:55.32 their lives and seasons according to the stars 00:20:55.35\00:20:58.62 so they worshipped the stars. This was also the case with the 00:20:58.65\00:21:03.99 early Sumerian civilization who built temple towers 00:21:04.03\00:21:07.76 or Ziggurats for the worship of the moon. 00:21:07.80\00:21:10.97 Even further back in time on the Salisbury Plains of England 00:21:11.00\00:21:15.27 the ancient British Star Gazers somehow moved stones 9 meters 00:21:15.30\00:21:20.84 high and weighing 50 tons to construct a center of Sun 00:21:20.88\00:21:25.45 Worship, but it wasn't just a table, it's a giant time keeping 00:21:25.48\00:21:30.92 device and a kind of observatory for studying and predicting 00:21:30.95\00:21:35.62 the movements of the moon as well as the sun. 00:21:35.66\00:21:38.56 Then in Chichen Itza, one of the sacred cities of the Mayan 00:21:38.59\00:21:43.30 civilization in Mexico, they built pyramids to the sun god. 00:21:43.33\00:21:47.67 High in the Andes Mountains at Machu Picchu, the Inca people 00:21:47.70\00:21:53.21 worshipped the sun and other heavenly bodies that played a 00:21:53.24\00:21:57.25 major role in their lives. 00:21:57.28\00:21:58.71 But the ancient Hebrews, the Israelites responded differently 00:21:58.75\00:22:04.72 to the grandeur of the night sky. 00:22:04.75\00:22:06.82 They saw and marveled at the order and precision of the night 00:22:06.86\00:22:12.06 sky but instead of worshipping the sky and the planets 00:22:12.09\00:22:16.20 they saw the heavenly bodies in their rhythmic perfection 00:22:16.23\00:22:20.04 as evidence of a Higher Power, a Master Designer. 00:22:20.07\00:22:24.84 The Higher Power, the Master Designer, they called Jehovah 00:22:24.87\00:22:30.85 or God and they saw the stars and the universe as a creation 00:22:30.88\00:22:36.02 of their God, and so rather than worshipping the stars 00:22:36.05\00:22:39.89 as gods as other civilizations did, the Hebrews worshipped 00:22:39.92\00:22:44.99 the God who made the stars. 00:22:45.03\00:22:47.66 They saw the stars as evidence that their God 00:22:47.70\00:22:51.13 was the almighty creator God. They believe the stars carried 00:22:51.17\00:22:56.34 a message, a message concerning the origin and destiny of the 00:22:56.37\00:23:01.54 human race. Listen to the words of the ancient Bible prophets. 00:23:01.58\00:23:05.88 This concept of a creator God colored Hebrew thinking and life 00:23:26.03\00:23:30.81 and formed the foundation of Judea Christian Fort 00:23:31.17\00:23:35.74 which is underpinned our own civilization. 00:23:35.78\00:23:38.71 This ancient wisdom is relevant to us today, evidently the 00:23:38.75\00:23:45.22 heavens are providing the answers to questions many 00:23:45.25\00:23:48.79 people are asking today, answers about our origins 00:23:48.82\00:23:52.73 and our destiny. People are asking and the skies are 00:23:52.76\00:23:57.73 talking back, they carry a message. 00:23:57.77\00:24:00.40 Many of us today are uncertain about where we are going 00:24:00.44\00:24:06.21 or why uncertain morally and spiritually. 00:24:06.24\00:24:09.88 We wonder if the universe we live in is friendly or 00:24:09.91\00:24:14.62 unfriendly but we can find answers to our questions by 00:24:14.65\00:24:19.52 looking to the stars, to the planned precision of their 00:24:19.55\00:24:24.36 unfailing orbits and discover who is behind it all. 00:24:24.39\00:24:27.10 That's what the Bible prophets advised. Notice these words. 00:24:27.13\00:24:31.73 Yes ancient wisdom but extremely relevant to modern 00:24:36.57\00:24:42.48 people. You see when we study the stars we find rhythmic 00:24:42.51\00:24:47.32 perfection, we see that order and design not chance and chaos 00:24:47.35\00:24:52.65 control the movements of the stars and heavenly bodies. 00:24:52.69\00:24:56.76 Now order and rhythmic perfection show design 00:24:56.79\00:25:00.70 and design means there must be a designer, a master designer. 00:25:00.73\00:25:06.07 In the very first sentence of the Bible pinpoints this 00:25:06.10\00:25:10.94 Master Designer, this Creator. 00:25:10.97\00:25:13.44 And here's what's really amazing, this great creator 00:25:19.18\00:25:23.79 God cares about you. Listen to this. 00:25:23.82\00:25:27.76 Isn't that astounding? 00:25:43.27\00:25:45.11 This big and powerful God who made the stars actually cares 00:25:45.14\00:25:50.91 about you and the details in your life, the big things, 00:25:50.95\00:25:54.98 the little things, everything, He really does. 00:25:55.02\00:25:59.42 The creator of heaven and earth is not a distant celestial 00:25:59.45\00:26:03.49 being, He's an intimate Father who loves you dearly. 00:26:03.53\00:26:08.10 God cares more about the inner space of your heart than the 00:26:08.13\00:26:13.84 outer space of the universe. You are most important to Him 00:26:13.87\00:26:19.04 and He really does care about you. 00:26:19.07\00:26:23.01 Sometimes there are periods in our life when we are 00:26:23.04\00:26:28.68 uncertain, disoriented, off course and just not sure of 00:26:28.72\00:26:33.25 where we are going or why, it happens to all of us. 00:26:33.29\00:26:37.26 If you would like to find certainty, assurance and 00:26:37.29\00:26:41.33 direction in your life, then I'd like to recommend the free gift 00:26:41.36\00:26:45.23 for all our Incredible Journey viewers today. 00:26:45.27\00:26:49.37 It's the booklet, "Message From The Stars". 00:26:49.40\00:26:53.48 This wonderful little booklet is our gift to you 00:26:53.51\00:26:57.15 and is absolutely Free.
