Travel is one of our favorite activities. 00:00:26.45\00:00:29.06 People just love to travel, often to new and far away 00:00:29.09\00:00:33.19 places. And that means there's been a huge growth in air travel 00:00:33.23\00:00:37.47 in recent years. Every day on average, more than 00:00:37.50\00:00:41.37 10,000,000 people fly. That's getting up to four billion 00:00:41.40\00:00:45.84 passengers a year, equivalent to about half the world's 00:00:45.87\00:00:49.94 population. So, it's not surprising that travel and 00:00:49.98\00:00:54.48 tourism is one of the world's largest industries 00:00:54.52\00:00:57.82 it's worth about ten trillion dollars a year. 00:00:57.85\00:01:00.86 Yes, we humans love to travel, going here, going there, 00:01:00.89\00:01:08.30 going everywhere it seems. 00:01:08.33\00:01:10.90 We're a mobile lot, that's for sure. 00:01:10.93\00:01:13.23 People are truly going places aren't they. But where are we 00:01:13.27\00:01:19.27 really going as we speed from place to place at rates 00:01:19.31\00:01:23.75 inconceivable to people a hundred years ago. 00:01:23.78\00:01:26.15 Sure, we might know where we're going short term, 00:01:26.18\00:01:29.95 to work, to pick up the kids, to the gym, on an overseas 00:01:29.98\00:01:34.42 holiday but we're all on a far greater journey. 00:01:34.46\00:01:38.56 The journey of life and where on life's incredible journey 00:01:38.59\00:01:43.20 are we going long-term and I mean long-term. 00:01:43.23\00:01:47.84 Close to the heart of Washington DC, capital of United States 00:01:47.87\00:01:53.14 there's one special place, a sacred place where a lot 00:01:53.17\00:01:57.68 of people on their journey ended up. A place similar very 00:01:57.71\00:02:02.05 to where we're all going to end up as well. 00:02:02.08\00:02:04.89 So stay tuned because in this program called 00:02:04.92\00:02:09.16 "The Unknown Soldier Known But to God." 00:02:09.19\00:02:12.23 We're going to look at the question whether this really 00:02:12.26\00:02:15.46 needs to be our final stop. 00:02:15.50\00:02:18.30 For the first time in human history the earth population 00:02:41.76\00:02:46.33 is more urban than rural. For the first time ever 00:02:46.36\00:02:50.23 more than half of us on this planet are city dwellers. 00:02:50.27\00:02:53.90 More and more people are leaving the country side 00:02:53.94\00:02:57.41 and moving to the cities and cities are growing by 60 million 00:02:57.44\00:03:02.21 people a year. Over one million every week. 00:03:02.24\00:03:06.21 Yes, we love the cities, each one has its own character 00:03:06.25\00:03:11.09 and beauty, each one is unique. 00:03:11.12\00:03:13.52 Some cities have an amazing history, a long history, 00:03:13.56\00:03:18.29 and a very influential history as well. 00:03:18.33\00:03:20.46 Such as Rome, talk about a long and influential history, 00:03:20.50\00:03:25.67 it's believed that people were living in the area of Rome 00:03:25.70\00:03:29.50 1,000 B.C. Of course by the 1st century B.C., Rome had 00:03:29.54\00:03:36.21 become the most powerful empire of the ancient world, 00:03:36.24\00:03:38.95 first as a Republic and then after the Revolution 00:03:38.98\00:03:42.92 the Rome of the Seasons. When I think of Paris, 00:03:42.95\00:03:48.29 I often think of the famous Mod-mark district 00:03:48.32\00:03:51.46 I can imagine in my mind's eye some of its famous painters 00:03:51.49\00:03:55.60 Pablo Picasso, and Vincent Van Gough wandering its streets 00:03:55.63\00:04:00.64 but centuries ago Paris was the center of a pretty 00:04:00.67\00:04:04.77 formidable military power both in Europe and overseas. 00:04:04.81\00:04:08.91 All you have to do for instance is think of the armies 00:04:08.94\00:04:12.61 of Napoleon marching through Europe in the early 19th century 00:04:12.65\00:04:17.02 and putting fear and trepidation in the old monarchies. 00:04:17.05\00:04:21.32 Then not that far away and across from the English Channel 00:04:21.36\00:04:25.29 is London. Today we think of London as the center for banking 00:04:25.33\00:04:29.80 for commerce for tourism. But there has been a time 00:04:29.83\00:04:34.37 too, when the British empire was the most powerful military 00:04:34.40\00:04:38.97 political and economical force in the world 00:04:39.01\00:04:42.31 There was an old saying that captured the influence 00:04:42.34\00:04:45.61 an impressive size of the British Empire, it said: 00:04:45.65\00:04:49.28 "The sun never sets on the British Empire." 00:04:49.32\00:04:52.82 But now, I'm standing in another city, a city that had been 00:04:52.85\00:04:58.13 a swamp and would remain a swamp for 1,200 years after 00:04:58.16\00:05:03.10 the Caesar's had ruled the Ancient World from Rome. 00:05:03.13\00:05:05.93 I'm talking about Washington, D.C. the Federal Capital of the 00:05:05.97\00:05:11.84 United States of America. In contrast to other great cities 00:05:11.87\00:05:16.48 D.C. is stiff in his infancy. Jerusalem had been in ruins 00:05:16.51\00:05:21.05 for about 17 centuries before European started to settle 00:05:21.08\00:05:25.19 in this area. Paris had for centuries been a place of 00:05:25.22\00:05:29.89 culture, influence and power long before anybody 00:05:29.92\00:05:33.40 but native Indians lived here. 00:05:33.43\00:05:35.56 Fishing on the shore of the Potomac and hunting in the 00:05:35.60\00:05:38.67 local woods. Yes, in terms of sheer age Washington D.C. 00:05:38.70\00:05:44.31 no doubt is a young place, however, whatever it might be 00:05:44.34\00:05:49.71 lacking in age in history, it sure made up for in terms of 00:05:49.74\00:05:53.98 might, of power, of influence in the world today. 00:05:54.02\00:05:58.22 From this city has come a military might unlike anything 00:05:58.25\00:06:03.19 the world has ever seen. 00:06:03.22\00:06:05.29 Whether or not one likes American Politics, you can't 00:06:05.33\00:06:10.57 downplay or minimize the amazing influences this nation has had 00:06:10.60\00:06:14.50 especially militarily. Think about how different our world 00:06:14.54\00:06:18.47 would be, had the United States not entered into WWII. 00:06:18.51\00:06:22.44 Imagine the Nazis in Imperial Japan had won the war. 00:06:22.48\00:06:27.22 What a different world we would be living in today. 00:06:27.25\00:06:31.29 Yes, whatever everyone thinks about America, 00:06:31.32\00:06:35.66 American Politics, American Culture, American Economic 00:06:35.69\00:06:39.89 practices, there's no question that American influence 00:06:39.93\00:06:44.33 American military might, to a great degree, still 00:06:44.37\00:06:48.90 dominates the world in which we live. 00:06:48.94\00:06:51.34 All of this came with a price of course, a heavy price 00:06:55.51\00:06:58.98 the greatest price any nation pays and that is in the blood 00:06:59.01\00:07:03.45 of its own people and the blood of the soldiers, men, and women 00:07:03.49\00:07:07.59 who die in the service of their country. 00:07:07.62\00:07:10.23 Now this is Arlington National Cemetery located just over a 00:07:10.26\00:07:15.90 bridge outside of Washington D.C., in the town of Arlington, 00:07:15.93\00:07:19.90 VA it's the most famous cemetery in the world. What you see here 00:07:19.93\00:07:25.24 speaks for itself, gravestones, markers of the dead. 00:07:25.27\00:07:29.94 Many American heroes are buried here including over 400,000 00:07:29.98\00:07:35.85 military veterans and their families. 00:07:35.88\00:07:38.15 This is the only cemetery in where soldiers from every 00:07:38.19\00:07:42.42 American conflict are buried starting with the civil war. 00:07:42.46\00:07:46.33 For 150 years Arlington National Cemetery has commemorated 00:07:46.36\00:07:52.63 what is now called Memorial Day honoring the service and 00:07:52.67\00:07:56.97 sacrifice of the fallen and for the past sixty years 00:07:57.01\00:08:01.44 soldiers from the 3rd U.S. infantry regime, the old God. 00:08:01.48\00:08:05.51 had placed an American Flag at each headstone. 00:08:05.55\00:08:09.62 Look at the vast number of these tombstones, sobering isn't it? 00:08:09.65\00:08:14.86 To think that each one of these markers represent someone 00:08:14.89\00:08:19.06 a flesh and blood person just like you, just like me. 00:08:19.09\00:08:23.26 People who had hopes, dreams, plans, loved ones, desires, 00:08:23.30\00:08:29.74 ambitions just like you and I do now and yet here they are 00:08:29.77\00:08:34.88 and though we most likely wouldn't be buried here 00:08:34.91\00:08:38.51 our rent isn't going to be a whole lot different will it? 00:08:38.55\00:08:42.22 Something to think about, this for instance 00:08:42.25\00:08:46.05 is the final resting place of 21-year-old 00:08:46.09\00:08:49.26 Pvt. William Christman of the Union Army who had been 00:08:49.29\00:08:53.43 buried here in May 1864. He was the first American soldier 00:08:53.46\00:08:58.77 to be buried here at Arlington. Though Pvt. Christman is the 00:08:58.80\00:09:04.21 first one buried here, it's hard to know who the last one is 00:09:04.24\00:09:07.84 and that is because on an average at least 25 burials take 00:09:07.88\00:09:13.01 place here every day. Those eligible to be buried in 00:09:13.05\00:09:17.42 Arlington include active-duty military and retired reservists. 00:09:17.45\00:09:21.96 Recipients of the military's highest honors and former POWs. 00:09:21.99\00:09:26.80 The history of this cemetery gives us glimpses into 00:09:26.83\00:09:32.23 American history itself. This land once belonged to 00:09:32.27\00:09:36.04 George Washington Parke Custus, yes, as the name gives away 00:09:36.07\00:09:40.84 he was related to America's first president, 00:09:40.88\00:09:43.88 George Washington. Mr. George Washington Parke Custus was the 00:09:43.91\00:09:49.08 grandson of George Washington's wife Martha and the 00:09:49.12\00:09:53.86 step-grandson of the first president himself. Custis spent 00:09:53.89\00:09:58.73 his life commemorating his famous step-grandfather and he 00:09:58.76\00:10:02.86 built this mansion called Arlington House between 1802 and 00:10:02.90\00:10:09.80 1818 as a memorial to the 1st president. 00:10:09.84\00:10:12.57 It originally sat on 1,100 acres but now here is where things 00:10:12.61\00:10:19.71 get interesting. In 1857 Custis willed a house to his daughter 00:10:19.75\00:10:26.42 who had married a promising a young West Point trained officer 00:10:26.45\00:10:30.89 in the United States Army, his name was 2nd Lieutenant 00:10:30.93\00:10:35.73 Robert E Lee. Now if you know anything about the 00:10:35.76\00:10:40.04 American Civil War, you could see a problem here, 00:10:40.07\00:10:43.00 this Robert E Lee sided with the confederacy during the war. 00:10:43.04\00:10:48.71 In fact, he became the commander in the Confederate States Army, 00:10:48.74\00:10:54.35 and though Arlington House was in Virginia and Virginia 00:10:54.38\00:10:58.82 sided with the south. 00:10:58.85\00:11:00.19 It stood on a hill overlooking Washington D.C. below 00:11:00.22\00:11:04.43 and so no way was the union going to leave this crucial site 00:11:04.46\00:11:09.43 in southern hands and so once hostility started between 00:11:09.46\00:11:14.17 the Union and the Confederacy the Union quickly seized the 00:11:14.20\00:11:18.44 property, including this house. 00:11:18.47\00:11:20.68 The house of the man who would lead the Confederate army. 00:11:20.71\00:11:24.78 Though there would end out being legal battles over the 00:11:24.81\00:11:28.48 property for years to come, during the war three forts 00:11:28.52\00:11:33.02 were built here as a general defense of Washington D.C. 00:11:33.05\00:11:36.49 And then in 1863 the Federal Government established 00:11:36.52\00:11:41.20 on some of this land what it called Friedman's Village. 00:11:41.23\00:11:45.70 It was a small village created to assist slaves transitioning 00:11:45.73\00:11:50.61 to freedom. The village provided housing, education, employment 00:11:50.64\00:11:56.31 training and medical care to these freed slaves. 00:11:56.34\00:12:00.15 However, as the war progressed, and the number of dead outpaced 00:12:00.18\00:12:05.25 the burial capacity of Washington D.C. cemetery's, 00:12:05.29\00:12:08.56 two hundred acres of the estate were set aside as a military 00:12:08.59\00:12:12.96 burial ground and then on June 15, 1864 it was officially 00:12:12.99\00:12:18.53 designated as a National Cemetery, the one we see here 00:12:18.57\00:12:22.54 today. Though now, it has been expanded to 624 acres 00:12:22.57\00:12:28.41 of hallowed ground. 00:12:28.44\00:12:29.98 Among those buried here are people like Audie Murphy 00:12:30.01\00:12:34.78 America's most decorated hero of World War II and a popular 00:12:34.82\00:12:39.22 movie actor. America president John, F. Kennedy is buried here 00:12:39.25\00:12:43.93 with this eternal flame torch burning ever since 00:12:43.96\00:12:48.20 Jackie Kennedy, his widow is buried next to him 00:12:48.23\00:12:52.10 along with their two infant children. 00:12:52.13\00:12:54.74 Even the actor Lee Marvin made it to Arlington, Robert Peary 00:12:54.77\00:13:01.08 the first person to make it to the North Pole is interred here 00:13:01.11\00:13:05.05 in Arlington as well. Interestingly enough 00:13:05.08\00:13:09.25 the most famous tomb in Arlington is the 00:13:09.28\00:13:12.55 final resting place not of some celebrity like Lee Marvin, 00:13:12.59\00:13:16.76 or president like John F. Kennedy, but precisely 00:13:16.79\00:13:21.23 the opposite. It's the final resting place for those who 00:13:21.26\00:13:25.53 are not known at all, yes, the most famous tomb is 00:13:25.57\00:13:31.21 the tomb of the Unknown Soldier here at 00:13:31.24\00:13:34.18 Arlington National Cemetery. 00:13:34.21\00:13:36.24 You know it's bad enough to have to go to war 00:13:36.28\00:13:39.45 and then to get killed in that war but at least for the 00:13:39.48\00:13:43.62 sake of your family, you come home to a decent burial. 00:13:43.65\00:13:47.72 But what happens sometimes, is that soldiers are killed 00:13:47.76\00:13:52.66 and no one knows who or where they are. 00:13:52.69\00:13:55.40 So on March 4, 1921, the United States Congress approved the 00:13:55.43\00:14:01.50 burial of an unknown American soldier from World War I 00:14:01.54\00:14:05.64 in this newly created Sarcoughaus, since that time 00:14:05.67\00:14:10.08 the remains of unknown soldiers from World War II, Korea and 00:14:10.11\00:14:14.48 the Vietnam War have been placed here also. 00:14:14.52\00:14:17.19 The tomb of the Unknown Soldier is guarded right around 00:14:17.22\00:14:21.39 the clock, the ceremonial changing of the guard 00:14:21.42\00:14:25.03 takes place 24 hours a day, 365 days a year 00:14:25.06\00:14:30.67 and is taken place without interruption since 1937. 00:14:30.70\00:14:35.57 Rain, hail, snow, shine, hot, or cold, it doesn't matter, 00:14:35.60\00:14:41.71 these guards perform their duty, they stand guard. 00:14:41.74\00:14:46.85 All of the honor guard are volunteers, 00:14:50.15\00:14:52.25 they're part of the elite 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment 00:14:52.29\00:14:56.42 which is headquartered in Ft. Meyer, Virginia and is the 00:14:56.46\00:15:00.26 oldest Regiment in the United States, it goes back to 1784. 00:15:00.30\00:15:06.30 Those who volunteer must undergo some rigorous training 00:15:06.33\00:15:10.91 both mental and physical and they actually live in a barracks 00:15:10.94\00:15:14.94 under the tomb when on duty. It's considered one of the 00:15:14.98\00:15:18.61 highest honors in the military to have this position. 00:15:18.65\00:15:22.05 Besides meeting the physical requirements, 00:15:22.08\00:15:25.55 the prospective volunteers spend up to eight months 00:15:25.59\00:15:29.66 training. During training, they don't watch TV, drink alcohol, 00:15:29.69\00:15:35.16 joke with others, talk to the public, or even talk with 00:15:35.20\00:15:39.33 other guards unless they have a question about training. 00:15:39.37\00:15:42.80 They are tested about knowing uniform requirements, 00:15:42.84\00:15:46.61 about knowledge about the tomb itself and they are tested on 00:15:46.64\00:15:50.55 performance. For instance if the uniform has any single 00:15:50.58\00:15:55.28 item 1/64 of an inch out of place, they face an infraction 00:15:55.32\00:16:00.49 and points are taken away. Of 100 points, if they get below 00:16:00.52\00:16:05.49 97, they don't make it. In the end 90% of those applying 00:16:05.53\00:16:11.63 for the position, don't make it. 00:16:11.67\00:16:13.94 Yes, if you visit the tomb and see what goes on here 00:16:13.97\00:16:18.94 you can get a great sense of the honor and dignity 00:16:18.97\00:16:22.28 and the seriousness of the whole thing. 00:16:22.31\00:16:24.75 The Americans truly want to honor those unknown soldiers. 00:16:24.78\00:16:30.42 In fact, look at these words inscribed on the Tomb of the 00:16:30.45\00:16:34.59 Unknown Soldier. I think the message is powerful, It reads: 00:16:34.62\00:16:39.13 That's sobering, isn't it? Known but to God. 00:16:45.03\00:16:50.07 In other words, we might not know who these dead soldiers 00:16:50.11\00:16:54.18 are, but God knows. And implication being, God knows 00:16:54.21\00:16:59.58 and God not only knows who they are but God has not 00:16:59.61\00:17:03.92 forgotten them either. As I said, there are over four 00:17:03.95\00:17:10.56 hundred thousand people buried here. Now that seems like a lot 00:17:10.59\00:17:14.73 and it is I know. But that is just a tiny fraction of the 00:17:14.76\00:17:18.90 world's dead isn't it? We look at all these 00:17:18.93\00:17:22.10 grave markers and yes, it's moving. But how many millions 00:17:22.14\00:17:27.08 even billions of people have come and gone 00:17:27.11\00:17:30.58 and will have no marker, no memorial and no memory of them 00:17:30.61\00:17:35.78 remains whatsoever. 00:17:35.82\00:17:37.45 Have you ever visited the ruins of an ancient culture? 00:17:37.49\00:17:41.09 It doesn't matter where what about the vast masses 00:17:41.12\00:17:44.76 who at one time lived there? These were people just like you 00:17:44.79\00:17:48.73 and just like me. People who got up every day, went to work 00:17:48.76\00:17:52.93 stressed about their kids, argued with their spouse, 00:17:52.97\00:17:56.40 fretted about money. People who had goals, dreams, emotions 00:17:56.44\00:18:01.61 fears, hopes for the future. Regrets about the past 00:18:01.64\00:18:05.78 people have felt love, guilt, fear, anger, joy, sadness, 00:18:05.81\00:18:12.62 just like the rest of us. Whole civilizations once thrived 00:18:12.65\00:18:17.59 in these places and what every one of these people are gone 00:18:17.63\00:18:23.83 without a trace left. Makes it all look, well so fruitless and 00:18:23.87\00:18:30.24 meaningless doesn't it? 00:18:30.27\00:18:32.14 In the past 150 years science and technology have amazingly 00:18:32.17\00:18:38.91 improved our lives haven't they? But at the same time too 00:18:38.95\00:18:42.88 if you believe what some scientists teach today, 00:18:42.92\00:18:45.75 we are nearly the chance products of cold uncaring forces 00:18:45.79\00:18:51.43 in a cosmos that doesn't care at all about us. 00:18:51.46\00:18:55.76 In an often-quoted sentence from his book: "The First Three 00:18:55.80\00:19:00.14 Minutes". Nobel prize-winning physicist Steven Weinberg 00:19:00.17\00:19:04.64 wrote: 00:19:04.67\00:19:06.01 Pointless and if the whole universe is pointless, 00:19:13.52\00:19:17.15 where does that leave us? Beings who are infinitely small and 00:19:17.19\00:19:22.22 fleeting amid this vast universe. 00:19:22.26\00:19:25.13 After Weinberg quoted got out it caused quite a stir 00:19:25.16\00:19:29.56 however Harvard Astronomer Margaret Galla didn't know 00:19:29.60\00:19:33.67 what the fuss was all about, this is what she said. 00:19:33.70\00:19:36.74 Just a physical system, Is that all that the universe is? 00:19:47.58\00:19:51.79 Is that all you and I are? 00:19:51.82\00:19:53.52 Just physical systems, now yes we are physical systems 00:19:53.56\00:19:59.33 but is that all we are? 00:19:59.39\00:20:01.36 Well, I'm willing to venture, I'm willing to guess 00:20:01.40\00:20:05.77 that most of us sense, most of us really know deep down 00:20:05.80\00:20:09.94 that we are much more than just that. 00:20:09.97\00:20:13.74 We know that our lives mean something, we know that we are 00:20:13.78\00:20:18.08 here for a reason? Even if we are not sure what that reason is 00:20:18.11\00:20:21.98 There's meaning and purposed in our lives. 00:20:22.02\00:20:24.92 I want to read you something that Jesus of the Bible said: 00:20:24.95\00:20:28.89 It's found in Matthew 10: 29-31. 00:20:28.92\00:20:33.86 Now that's an amazing few lines if you really think about them. 00:20:52.61\00:20:57.02 What Jesus is saying is that even something like the 00:20:57.05\00:21:01.62 sparrows sold very cheaply in the ancient world, 00:21:01.66\00:21:04.99 unknown by God and so what about us as human beings? 00:21:05.03\00:21:10.10 How are we viewed by God? Well according to Jesus 00:21:10.13\00:21:14.80 God knows each one of us so well that He even knows 00:21:14.84\00:21:19.27 the number hairs on our heads. What a different view of reality 00:21:19.31\00:21:24.21 being presented by Jesus in contrast to what modern science 00:21:24.25\00:21:27.92 often tells us. Look at how positive these following 00:21:27.95\00:21:31.45 sentences by Jesus are, found in John 3:17. 00:21:31.49\00:21:36.93 In other words, according to the Bible, Jesus Christ came to 00:21:46.80\00:21:50.91 this world not to condemn us for our mistakes and evil deeds, 00:21:50.94\00:21:55.08 which are many. No, He came to save us and if you put these 00:21:55.11\00:21:59.75 texts together, what are they saying? 00:21:59.78\00:22:02.35 Well, I believe that Jesus is saying that He has not forgotten 00:22:02.38\00:22:07.36 the millions even the billions of dead who have come and gone 00:22:07.39\00:22:12.29 through the ages. He knew the number of hairs on their 00:22:12.33\00:22:15.83 heads and so these people are not forgotten by God either. 00:22:15.86\00:22:20.87 Jesus came to bring the promise of life, eternal life 00:22:20.90\00:22:25.17 to all who would accept it. Even if for now many are dead 00:22:25.21\00:22:30.45 and forgotten by everyone else. What does the tomb say? 00:22:30.48\00:22:34.72 Known but to God. Yes, we might not know their names any more 00:22:34.75\00:22:41.22 than we know the names of millions even billions who have 00:22:41.26\00:22:44.69 come before us. And perhaps one day too we might not 00:22:44.73\00:22:49.46 only be dead, but over time we might be forgotten by 00:22:49.50\00:22:53.74 everyone else as well. But friend, I can assure you 00:22:53.77\00:22:58.57 that you are not forgotten. You are not forgotten by Him. 00:22:58.61\00:23:02.91 So, wherever you are on your life's journey, 00:23:02.94\00:23:06.31 you can know that you are known by God and loved by God. 00:23:06.35\00:23:10.85 He knows your struggles too. If he knows the number of hairs 00:23:10.89\00:23:15.42 on your head, he know what you are going through right now 00:23:15.46\00:23:19.86 and He cares and He's there to help you, to give you strength 00:23:19.89\00:23:24.67 for the journey. You mean a lot to Him in fact, you mean 00:23:24.70\00:23:29.94 everything to Him and He wants to spend forever with you. 00:23:29.97\00:23:35.34 The God who knows the number of hairs on your head... 00:23:35.38\00:23:38.88 this God 2,000 years ago paid the penalty for your mistakes 00:23:38.91\00:23:44.92 He died for you on the cross and from that death 00:23:44.95\00:23:49.29 He offers you the promise of eternal life. 00:23:49.32\00:23:53.13 No friend, the grave does not have to be the final 00:23:53.16\00:23:57.37 resting place for us. That's not God's plan for us. 00:23:57.40\00:24:01.44 His plan is eternal life with Him, the God who knows 00:24:01.47\00:24:06.68 the number of hairs on your head. Please, right now is the 00:24:06.71\00:24:11.28 time to claim for yourself what Jesus has done for you. 00:24:11.31\00:24:15.62 which is give you eternal life, That's His promise. 00:24:15.65\00:24:20.72 Why not reach out and accept His gift right now as we pray. 00:24:20.76\00:24:27.03 Dear Heavenly Father, Yes, for now the grave is where 00:24:27.06\00:24:33.30 we end our journey, but thanks to Jesus, that grave can be 00:24:33.34\00:24:38.67 only a rest stop, a temporary respite before the coming of 00:24:38.71\00:24:42.81 eternal life. Thank you for that offer to each of us 00:24:42.84\00:24:48.82 no matter how many our past mistakes, what's crucial is the 00:24:48.85\00:24:54.22 choice we make even now, for you. And so now we accept Jesus 00:24:54.26\00:24:59.63 and the gift of eternal life that you offer us. 00:24:59.66\00:25:02.63 In Jesus name, we pray. Amen! 00:25:02.66\00:25:06.84 America's capital, Washington D.C. teams with 00:25:11.21\00:25:15.21 iconic monuments, vast museums, and the corridors of power. 00:25:15.24\00:25:20.28 It's all about power, history and culture.
