But 00:02:45.63\00:02:47.73 I'll tell you, as 00:02:48.73\00:02:49.73 you read the account, 00:02:49.73\00:02:50.77 there is no way 00:02:50.77\00:02:51.80 you can read 00:02:51.80\00:02:52.20 the biblical account 00:02:52.33\00:02:53.30 and not believe 00:02:53.30\00:02:54.24 in a worldwide deluge. 00:02:54.24\00:02:56.07 But more than that, 00:02:56.07\00:02:57.07 if you look at 00:02:57.07\00:02:57.74 the fossil record 00:02:57.74\00:02:59.31 fossils all over the world, 00:02:59.31\00:03:00.98 including right there 00:03:00.98\00:03:01.84 in the Middle East. 00:03:01.84\00:03:02.91 And when you look 00:03:02.91\00:03:03.65 at these fossils, 00:03:03.65\00:03:05.35 don't 00:03:05.35\00:03:06.28 don't believe this narrative 00:03:06.28\00:03:07.68 that a fish just died, 00:03:07.68\00:03:09.68 fell on the bottom of the sea, 00:03:09.68\00:03:11.02 and then sediment 00:03:11.02\00:03:11.79 gradually fell on top of it 00:03:11.79\00:03:13.92 and it fossilized. 00:03:14.09\00:03:15.72 It does not work like that. 00:03:15.72\00:03:17.16 If you look at the bones here, 00:03:17.16\00:03:18.43 if you could see them up 00:03:18.43\00:03:19.63 close there 00:03:19.63\00:03:20.73 and just like the living fish, 00:03:20.73\00:03:23.16 you can see scales on 00:03:23.37\00:03:24.83 some of these fish. 00:03:24.83\00:03:25.63 You can see eyes on them. 00:03:25.63\00:03:27.27 There's been no time for decay. 00:03:27.27\00:03:29.20 Now, I'm not saying that people 00:03:29.20\00:03:30.41 that believe 00:03:30.41\00:03:30.87 in a different world view 00:03:31.04\00:03:31.94 don't have an explanation, 00:03:31.94\00:03:33.07 but the only explanation 00:03:33.07\00:03:34.51 for this 00:03:34.51\00:03:35.18 is that there was a 00:03:35.18\00:03:36.21 catastrophic event. 00:03:36.21\00:03:37.81 And when 00:03:38.78\00:03:39.08 you see it all over the world, 00:03:39.45\00:03:41.22 a catastrophic event, 00:03:41.22\00:03:42.82 basically it is consistent 00:03:42.82\00:03:44.52 with the biblical worldview. 00:03:44.52\00:03:46.79 And so I always enjoy 00:03:46.96\00:03:48.22 looking at fossils, 00:03:48.22\00:03:49.16 seeing this intricate detail 00:03:49.16\00:03:50.76 that showed there. 00:03:50.76\00:03:51.96 I've never seen a fossil 00:03:51.96\00:03:53.60 of something partially decayed. 00:03:53.60\00:03:56.00 Now, I'm sure there are some, 00:03:56.00\00:03:57.53 because there obviously 00:03:57.53\00:03:58.70 were some things 00:03:58.70\00:03:59.30 that were partially decayed 00:03:59.37\00:04:00.50 at the time of the flood, 00:04:00.50\00:04:01.50 but the overwhelming 00:04:01.50\00:04:02.90 majority, vast 00:04:02.90\00:04:04.24 majority are things 00:04:04.24\00:04:05.07 that were alive 00:04:05.07\00:04:05.87 because that's what happened 00:04:05.87\00:04:06.81 during the flood. 00:04:06.81\00:04:07.78 And there's all kinds 00:04:07.78\00:04:08.71 of fossils in this museum. 00:04:08.71\00:04:10.28 And that was just inspiring 00:04:10.28\00:04:11.45 to see 00:04:11.45\00:04:11.78 this evidence 00:04:11.88\00:04:13.11 again of the biblical account. 00:04:13.11\00:04:15.38 Well, on that 00:04:16.15\00:04:17.32 same trip to Lebanon, 00:04:17.32\00:04:19.29 the the field president wanted 00:04:19.29\00:04:21.79 to take us to Tyre 00:04:21.79\00:04:24.06 to the city of Tyre. 00:04:24.06\00:04:25.29 Many of you know, Tyre 00:04:25.29\00:04:26.76 and Sidon, very famous 00:04:26.76\00:04:27.73 biblical sites, 00:04:27.73\00:04:28.76 much in the Bible about Tyre. 00:04:28.76\00:04:31.23 And 00:04:31.47\00:04:31.93 Tyre is 00:04:33.00\00:04:33.97 associated with purple dye. 00:04:33.97\00:04:36.00 So I put a couple 00:04:36.44\00:04:37.21 of different images here 00:04:37.21\00:04:38.41 to kind of challenge you. 00:04:38.41\00:04:40.44 But the best 00:04:40.44\00:04:41.71 purple dye in iniquity 00:04:41.71\00:04:43.24 is said to have come from Tyre, 00:04:43.24\00:04:45.11 that it had originated there. 00:04:45.11\00:04:46.75 So some of you 00:04:46.75\00:04:47.28 remember the story of Lydia, 00:04:47.42\00:04:49.18 the seller of purple 00:04:49.18\00:04:50.42 in the Book of Acts. 00:04:50.42\00:04:51.95 It is believed 00:04:51.95\00:04:52.75 that Lydia got her finest 00:04:52.75\00:04:54.46 purple from Tyre. 00:04:54.46\00:04:56.39 It was imported to Philipi. 00:04:56.39\00:04:58.69 Tyre and purple. 00:04:58.69\00:05:01.23 Why? 00:05:01.46\00:05:01.86 Why do some people have this 00:05:02.13\00:05:03.70 special connection with purple? 00:05:03.70\00:05:05.13 It's often a royalty 00:05:05.13\00:05:07.07 that uses purple. 00:05:07.07\00:05:08.00 The Roman legions, 00:05:08.00\00:05:08.97 I'm told, use purple. 00:05:08.97\00:05:11.37 Here is this iconic Burj 00:05:11.37\00:05:13.88 Al Arab in Dubai. 00:05:13.88\00:05:16.85 You've probably seen this 00:05:17.01\00:05:18.71 seven star hotel in white 00:05:18.71\00:05:21.62 because it's a white structure. 00:05:21.78\00:05:23.45 But at night, 00:05:23.45\00:05:24.75 at least they were 00:05:24.75\00:05:25.35 lighting it that night 00:05:25.35\00:05:26.39 in what color? 00:05:27.76\00:05:28.46 In purple. 00:05:28.46\00:05:29.12 So Tyre is associated 00:05:29.26\00:05:30.76 with purple. 00:05:30.76\00:05:31.96 And really, 00:05:31.96\00:05:33.40 if you have thought much lately 00:05:33.40\00:05:35.53 about the book of 00:05:35.53\00:05:36.87 Daniel, Daniel 2, 00:05:37.33\00:05:38.73 and then Daniel 7 00:05:38.73\00:05:39.83 and 8 00:05:39.83\00:05:40.14 go through 00:05:40.20\00:05:40.54 a series of empires, 00:05:40.74\00:05:42.30 world empires, 00:05:42.30\00:05:43.57 and they walk you 00:05:43.57\00:05:44.27 through Babylon 00:05:44.27\00:05:45.54 and then Medo Persia 00:05:45.54\00:05:47.21 and then Greece and then Rome. 00:05:47.21\00:05:48.78 The interesting thing is 00:05:48.78\00:05:49.91 all these empires 00:05:49.91\00:05:50.85 intersect at Tyre and 00:05:50.85\00:05:53.82 Ezekiel 26 amazing prophecies 00:05:53.82\00:05:57.02 about Tyre in connection 00:05:57.19\00:05:59.25 with Babylon prophesying 00:05:59.25\00:06:00.99 actually 00:06:00.99\00:06:01.22 the destruction of Tyre. 00:06:01.59\00:06:02.56 Look with me at Ezekiel 00:06:02.56\00:06:05.26 the Word of the Lord 00:06:05.26\00:06:06.26 as it appears in Ezekiel 27:7 00:06:06.26\00:06:09.00 and onward, 00:06:09.00\00:06:09.80 For thus says 00:06:09.80\00:06:10.53 the Lord God, behold, 00:06:10.53\00:06:11.83 I will bring against Tyre 00:06:11.83\00:06:13.23 from the north 00:06:13.23\00:06:14.14 Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, 00:06:14.14\00:06:16.27 king of kings, 00:06:16.50\00:06:17.57 with horses and chariots, 00:06:17.57\00:06:19.34 and with horsemen 00:06:19.34\00:06:20.18 and a host of many soldiers. 00:06:20.18\00:06:21.91 He will set up a siege 00:06:21.91\00:06:23.21 wall against you 00:06:23.21\00:06:24.48 and throw up 00:06:24.48\00:06:25.08 a mound against you. 00:06:25.08\00:06:26.58 What do you think happened 00:06:26.58\00:06:27.85 as the Bible prophesy? 00:06:27.85\00:06:30.02 That very thing. 00:06:30.02\00:06:31.25 Nebuchadnezzar besieged 00:06:31.25\00:06:33.29 Tyre as part of his conquest 00:06:33.42\00:06:35.52 of that whole region. 00:06:35.52\00:06:36.56 Nebuchadnezzar, also 00:06:37.73\00:06:39.49 known as Nebuchadnezzar 00:06:39.49\00:06:40.33 II of Babylon 00:06:40.33\00:06:42.26 besieged Tyre 00:06:42.26\00:06:43.06 for some 13 years. 00:06:43.06\00:06:44.40 It was an extended siege. 00:06:44.40\00:06:45.97 Later in history, Alexander 00:06:45.97\00:06:47.90 the Great besieged Tyre. 00:06:47.90\00:06:50.01 So Tyre plays a prominent role 00:06:50.01\00:06:52.17 in these world powers 00:06:52.31\00:06:53.91 that were dominating 00:06:53.91\00:06:55.28 the Middle East. 00:06:55.28\00:06:56.71 There are still Byzantine 00:06:56.71\00:06:58.71 and Roman ruins 00:06:58.71\00:06:59.81 still there in Tyre 00:06:59.81\00:07:01.05 and they took us to see them. 00:07:01.05\00:07:03.62 There is a lot 00:07:03.65\00:07:05.19 that is devoted to burial. 00:07:05.19\00:07:07.32 There is burial crypts. 00:07:07.32\00:07:09.52 There's tombs. 00:07:09.52\00:07:10.69 But one of the things I noticed 00:07:10.69\00:07:12.86 is that virtually 00:07:12.86\00:07:13.90 every tomb 00:07:13.90\00:07:15.03 had been broken into. 00:07:15.03\00:07:16.90 Every tomb. 00:07:16.90\00:07:18.37 I mean, 00:07:18.37\00:07:18.77 think about this for a minute. 00:07:19.03\00:07:20.17 Where did many of the 00:07:20.17\00:07:21.17 people of antiquity 00:07:21.17\00:07:22.34 put their treasures? 00:07:22.34\00:07:24.51 In their tomb with them, right? 00:07:25.17\00:07:27.84 And so you say no surprise 00:07:27.84\00:07:29.21 that grave 00:07:29.21\00:07:29.94 robbers would come there. 00:07:29.94\00:07:31.15 The tour guide who 00:07:32.15\00:07:33.18 was with us, of course, told us 00:07:33.18\00:07:34.48 there was nothing of 00:07:34.48\00:07:35.58 value in those tombs. 00:07:35.58\00:07:37.05 I was a bit skeptical. 00:07:37.05\00:07:38.45 I thought he was maybe 00:07:38.45\00:07:39.15 just trying to curb 00:07:39.15\00:07:40.02 any future attempts. 00:07:40.02\00:07:42.32 But but the point is 00:07:42.32\00:07:43.69 simply this. 00:07:43.69\00:07:44.39 Where, where is the place 00:07:44.39\00:07:46.80 we should put our resources? 00:07:46.80\00:07:48.63 So we try to be saving enough 00:07:48.63\00:07:50.13 so that we can 00:07:50.13\00:07:50.70 have the best casket around? 00:07:50.80\00:07:53.30 No, no. 00:07:54.47\00:07:55.30 The Lord wants us 00:07:55.30\00:07:56.17 investing in His cause, 00:07:56.17\00:07:57.47 laying up our treasures 00:07:57.47\00:07:58.97 in heaven. 00:07:58.97\00:07:59.91 But you see, all through Tyre, 00:07:59.91\00:08:01.48 you see evidence of the Roman 00:08:01.48\00:08:03.18 occupation there. 00:08:03.18\00:08:04.55 You see 00:08:04.55\00:08:05.65 these remnants 00:08:05.81\00:08:07.05 of aqueducts there. 00:08:07.05\00:08:08.52 And then there's this 00:08:08.52\00:08:09.18 amazing Hippodrome, 00:08:09.18\00:08:10.59 a large stadium, huge stadium 00:08:10.59\00:08:13.25 where they had horse races. 00:08:13.42\00:08:15.16 It's only been 00:08:15.16\00:08:15.72 partially reconstructed. 00:08:15.72\00:08:17.53 You can see there in the 00:08:17.53\00:08:19.33 in the background 00:08:19.33\00:08:20.63 some of the bleachers 00:08:20.63\00:08:22.20 that have been reconstructed 00:08:22.20\00:08:23.33 in some of the inset 00:08:23.33\00:08:24.37 pictures on the right. 00:08:24.37\00:08:25.90 You'll see some people 00:08:25.90\00:08:27.44 walking through some of the, 00:08:27.44\00:08:28.87 but this was a vast stadium, 00:08:28.87\00:08:30.34 just like a stadium 00:08:30.34\00:08:31.44 that we would have today, 00:08:31.44\00:08:32.37 perhaps holding as many people 00:08:32.37\00:08:34.44 as a modern day stadium. 00:08:34.44\00:08:35.44 It was huge. 00:08:35.44\00:08:36.81 A lot of the building 00:08:36.81\00:08:37.61 materials have vanished 00:08:37.61\00:08:39.81 because subsequent 00:08:40.28\00:08:41.58 generations, over 00:08:41.58\00:08:42.45 some 2,000 years 00:08:42.45\00:08:44.15 have appropriated 00:08:44.15\00:08:45.65 those things 00:08:45.65\00:08:46.29 for their own homes, their own 00:08:46.29\00:08:48.09 building structures. 00:08:48.09\00:08:49.39 One of the 00:08:50.49\00:08:51.09 connections with 00:08:51.09\00:08:51.79 the biblical world 00:08:51.79\00:08:52.59 I especially enjoyed was this. 00:08:52.59\00:08:54.20 We saw this 00:08:54.20\00:08:55.53 in Tyre, The Olive Press. 00:08:55.56\00:08:57.67 So this is a stone 00:08:58.90\00:09:00.04 press, there 00:09:00.04\00:09:00.57 ?mill stone off to the side, 00:09:00.74\00:09:02.20 and they would 00:09:02.20\00:09:02.64 literally crush the olives 00:09:02.84\00:09:04.81 to make olive oil. 00:09:04.81\00:09:06.27 While we were at Middle 00:09:06.27\00:09:07.04 East University, 00:09:07.04\00:09:07.88 one of the places 00:09:07.88\00:09:08.54 where I spoke, 00:09:08.54\00:09:09.04 we have a Seventh-day 00:09:09.11\00:09:09.71 Adventist school 00:09:09.71\00:09:10.45 there in the Middle East 00:09:10.45\00:09:11.78 outside of Beirut. 00:09:11.78\00:09:13.92 One of the union officers 00:09:13.92\00:09:16.48 was giving us 00:09:17.89\00:09:19.55 a little show and tell. 00:09:19.55\00:09:20.32 It was instigated 00:09:20.32\00:09:21.12 actually by his young son there 00:09:21.12\00:09:23.12 who is holding, 00:09:23.12\00:09:24.19 whether you recognize it 00:09:24.19\00:09:25.46 or not, 00:09:25.46\00:09:26.19 some freshly pressed 00:09:26.19\00:09:28.13 pressed olive oil. 00:09:28.13\00:09:29.96 It was just pressed 00:09:29.96\00:09:30.60 a few hours before. 00:09:30.60\00:09:31.33 He was very excited 00:09:31.33\00:09:32.50 and he wanted to show us 00:09:32.50\00:09:33.60 the fresh olive oil. 00:09:33.60\00:09:35.67 And there you see 00:09:36.04\00:09:38.27 the remnants of the olives. 00:09:38.27\00:09:39.84 It's just like a dry pad. 00:09:39.84\00:09:41.48 Everything has been crushed. 00:09:41.48\00:09:42.91 Everything of life 00:09:42.91\00:09:44.21 has been crushed 00:09:44.21\00:09:45.05 out of the olives. 00:09:45.05\00:09:46.15 Now, some of you notice 00:09:46.15\00:09:47.02 the caption on these pictures. 00:09:47.02\00:09:48.85 It says Gethsemane insights. 00:09:48.85\00:09:51.72 Do any of you know 00:09:52.02\00:09:52.72 what Gethsemane means? 00:09:52.72\00:09:56.62 Gethsemane literally 00:09:57.03\00:09:58.23 means the oil press. 00:09:58.23\00:10:00.06 So when Jesus 00:10:01.23\00:10:02.30 went to the 00:10:02.30\00:10:02.76 Garden of Gethsemane, 00:10:02.86\00:10:03.97 where was He going? 00:10:03.97\00:10:05.67 He was going to an oil press. 00:10:06.27\00:10:08.30 And what happened 00:10:08.54\00:10:09.54 to Jesus in Gethsemane? 00:10:09.54\00:10:11.87 Jesus in Gethsemane chose 00:10:11.87\00:10:14.68 He made the 00:10:14.68\00:10:15.21 irrevocable decision. 00:10:15.21\00:10:16.68 Well, 00:10:16.68\00:10:17.35 made a, 00:10:17.95\00:10:18.38 He could have still changed 00:10:18.61\00:10:19.65 the decision on the cross. 00:10:19.65\00:10:20.78 But but He made that decision 00:10:20.78\00:10:22.45 where He said, 00:10:22.45\00:10:23.32 you know, Father, 00:10:23.32\00:10:24.35 please 00:10:24.35\00:10:24.99 have this cup pass from me. 00:10:24.99\00:10:26.39 But He said, nevertheless, 00:10:26.39\00:10:27.49 not my will what? 00:10:27.49\00:10:28.89 But Your will be done. 00:10:28.89\00:10:30.16 And He chose to be crushed. 00:10:30.16\00:10:32.46 He started in a 00:10:32.46\00:10:33.36 very real sense, 00:10:33.36\00:10:34.93 bearing the weight 00:10:34.93\00:10:35.76 of the sin of the world 00:10:35.76\00:10:36.67 in Gethsemane. 00:10:36.67\00:10:38.10 Not that He wasn't 00:10:38.10\00:10:38.90 carrying the weight of sin 00:10:38.90\00:10:40.57 all through His ministry, 00:10:40.57\00:10:42.07 all through His life 00:10:42.07\00:10:42.84 in a very special way. 00:10:42.84\00:10:44.47 It seems like He 00:10:44.47\00:10:45.71 He really starts to experience 00:10:45.71\00:10:48.74 the weight 00:10:49.61\00:10:50.55 of the sins of the world 00:10:50.55\00:10:51.55 in a very unique way 00:10:51.55\00:10:52.61 at Gethsemane. 00:10:52.61\00:10:53.58 And so Jesus basically, 00:10:53.58\00:10:55.12 His life is being crushed out. 00:10:55.12\00:10:57.15 And what comes out is 00:10:57.15\00:10:59.49 we speak of His 00:11:00.82\00:11:01.82 cleansing blood, 00:11:01.82\00:11:03.19 that life, 00:11:03.19\00:11:03.99 His life giving blood. 00:11:03.99\00:11:05.26 But the olive oil is 00:11:05.26\00:11:06.29 another metaphor, right, 00:11:06.29\00:11:07.66 for a healing agency. 00:11:07.66\00:11:09.46 And the only way you get 00:11:09.46\00:11:10.67 the olive 00:11:10.67\00:11:11.17 oil is by the olive 00:11:11.17\00:11:12.63 being destroyed, being crushed. 00:11:12.63\00:11:14.77 And so that's what 00:11:14.97\00:11:15.57 Jesus went through for us. 00:11:15.57\00:11:17.27 And so as we're 00:11:17.27\00:11:17.91 ministering there 00:11:17.91\00:11:19.67 in the Middle East, 00:11:19.67\00:11:20.91 we're seeing this imagery 00:11:20.91\00:11:22.58 of the kind of ministry 00:11:22.58\00:11:23.95 that Jesus gave to us. 00:11:23.95\00:11:25.38 We talk about why 00:11:25.38\00:11:26.28 be involved in ministry. 00:11:26.28\00:11:27.75 It's because you are valuable 00:11:27.75\00:11:29.28 to God. 00:11:29.28\00:11:30.25 It's that 00:11:30.25\00:11:30.62 He gave everything for you. 00:11:30.92\00:11:32.45 And we got that picture again 00:11:32.45\00:11:33.99 there. 00:11:33.99\00:11:34.59 From Tyre we went up to Sidon. 00:11:34.66\00:11:36.56 They're not far apart. 00:11:36.56\00:11:37.69 And in Sidon 00:11:37.69\00:11:39.19 we saw evidence of 00:11:39.19\00:11:41.16 just what I was 00:11:41.16\00:11:41.76 telling you about. 00:11:41.76\00:11:42.80 This was a sea castle, 00:11:42.80\00:11:44.63 a sea citadel in Sidon. 00:11:44.63\00:11:46.87 You can see it there, 00:11:47.10\00:11:48.27 the remnants of it. 00:11:48.27\00:11:49.50 It's still 00:11:49.50\00:11:49.84 fairly well-preserved. 00:11:50.04\00:11:51.51 And if you go out there 00:11:51.51\00:11:52.97 and look at the structures, 00:11:52.97\00:11:54.48 you will see 00:11:54.48\00:11:55.08 Roman pillars 00:11:55.08\00:11:56.78 that have been used 00:11:56.78\00:11:58.01 as building materials. 00:11:58.01\00:11:59.51 There's one of them right there 00:11:59.51\00:12:01.58 as part of the foundation. 00:12:01.58\00:12:03.55 And if you look here 00:12:03.55\00:12:04.45 at this picture, 00:12:04.45\00:12:05.12 if you can see kind of 00:12:05.12\00:12:06.12 in the middle of the picture, 00:12:06.12\00:12:07.36 there's a series 00:12:07.36\00:12:08.06 of Roman pillars 00:12:08.06\00:12:08.86 that have been laid down. 00:12:08.86\00:12:10.16 There's Roman 00:12:10.16\00:12:10.66 pillars interspersed 00:12:10.66\00:12:11.73 throughout the whole structure. 00:12:11.73\00:12:13.36 So if you say, well, 00:12:13.36\00:12:13.93 why don't 00:12:13.93\00:12:14.13 we see 00:12:14.13\00:12:14.93 more Babylonian ruins or 00:12:14.93\00:12:17.07 or ruins 00:12:17.07\00:12:18.50 from the time of Greece 00:12:18.50\00:12:19.63 or even from Rome, it's 00:12:19.63\00:12:20.84 because subsequent conquerors 00:12:20.84\00:12:24.61 would utilize 00:12:24.94\00:12:26.04 the very building materials 00:12:26.04\00:12:27.61 that had been 00:12:27.61\00:12:27.98 utilized previously. 00:12:28.14\00:12:29.34 And so fortunately, 00:12:29.34\00:12:30.58 with Roman columns, 00:12:30.58\00:12:32.25 marble columns, 00:12:32.25\00:12:33.08 they're pretty hard to 00:12:33.08\00:12:34.65 to break up. 00:12:34.65\00:12:35.52 And they made good 00:12:35.52\00:12:37.05 building materials. 00:12:37.05\00:12:38.52 So you can still see them. 00:12:38.52\00:12:40.29 So if you look out 00:12:40.29\00:12:41.52 from that citadel 00:12:41.52\00:12:42.49 at the city of Sidon, 00:12:42.49\00:12:43.96 you see a very 00:12:43.96\00:12:44.53 different picture 00:12:44.53\00:12:45.36 than we'll show you from Dubai. 00:12:45.36\00:12:47.30 But it is an interesting place. 00:12:47.30\00:12:49.06 Lebanon. 00:12:49.06\00:12:49.53 Lebanon has the largest 00:12:49.63\00:12:50.83 Christian population 00:12:50.83\00:12:52.10 in the Middle East. 00:12:52.10\00:12:53.27 And you can see this mix. 00:12:53.27\00:12:54.54 You can see the 00:12:54.54\00:12:55.40 minaret there of a mosque. 00:12:55.40\00:12:57.04 But this interesting 00:12:57.04\00:12:58.07 mix of Islam 00:12:58.07\00:12:59.41 and various 00:12:59.41\00:13:00.68 branches of Christianity 00:13:00.68\00:13:02.71 there in Lebanon. 00:13:02.71\00:13:04.95 Lebanon, 00:13:04.95\00:13:06.45 you know, 00:13:06.45\00:13:06.75 was the site of one of Jesus 00:13:07.12\00:13:08.38 most remarkable cross-cultural 00:13:08.38\00:13:10.85 aspects of His ministry, 00:13:11.72\00:13:13.05 at least from my perspective. 00:13:13.05\00:13:14.82 Jesus had gone out of Galilee 00:13:14.82\00:13:16.83 and He'd gone all the way 00:13:16.83\00:13:17.86 to Tyre and Sidon. 00:13:17.86\00:13:19.53 And there in Mark 00:13:19.53\00:13:20.23 7, we read that 00:13:20.23\00:13:22.03 as He comes to Tyre and Sidon, 00:13:22.03\00:13:23.60 and if you read 00:13:23.60\00:13:24.43 through the account, 00:13:24.43\00:13:25.23 there is this woman there. 00:13:25.23\00:13:26.37 She's a Gentile, 00:13:26.37\00:13:27.40 she's not a Jew, 00:13:27.40\00:13:28.57 and she's asking Jesus 00:13:28.57\00:13:30.51 to do a miracle. 00:13:30.51\00:13:32.51 And Jesus first acts 00:13:32.51\00:13:34.28 like the Jews 00:13:34.28\00:13:35.61 would have expected Him to act. 00:13:35.61\00:13:37.81 I can't help you. 00:13:38.15\00:13:39.05 I'm just sent for the lost 00:13:39.05\00:13:40.08 sheep of the house of Israel. 00:13:40.08\00:13:41.72 But she implores Jesus. 00:13:41.72\00:13:43.72 She said, But, 00:13:43.72\00:13:44.65 but Jesus, even the little dogs 00:13:44.65\00:13:46.72 get crumbs from the table. 00:13:46.92\00:13:48.99 And He responds to her faith. 00:13:48.99\00:13:51.49 And He shows the disciples 00:13:51.49\00:13:52.73 that He's come for everyone. 00:13:52.73\00:13:54.46 And so this picture 00:13:54.46\00:13:55.43 is especially appropriate 00:13:55.43\00:13:56.46 in Lebanon, 00:13:56.46\00:13:57.03 where we have this very cross 00:13:57.17\00:13:58.73 cultural population 00:13:58.73\00:14:00.44 that Jesus ministry 00:14:00.44\00:14:01.57 is for everyone. 00:14:01.57\00:14:02.57 And then as we were walking 00:14:02.57\00:14:03.57 through the streets of Sidon, 00:14:03.57\00:14:05.57 one of our locals said, 00:14:05.57\00:14:07.61 you know, 00:14:08.21\00:14:08.44 those are the baskets 00:14:08.78\00:14:09.31 that the fishermen use. 00:14:09.31\00:14:11.98 You know, 00:14:11.98\00:14:12.21 they're specially slotted. 00:14:12.61\00:14:13.42 So, you know, 00:14:13.42\00:14:13.72 you throw the fish in there 00:14:14.08\00:14:14.82 and the 00:14:14.82\00:14:15.38 the water seeps through. 00:14:15.38\00:14:16.85 But we you know, 00:14:16.85\00:14:17.85 we couldn't help but wonder did 00:14:17.85\00:14:19.59 is that similar 00:14:19.59\00:14:20.22 to the baskets of antiquity, 00:14:20.22\00:14:22.02 that young boy 00:14:22.02\00:14:23.32 carrying just his meager 00:14:23.32\00:14:25.33 supply of loaves and fish, 00:14:25.53\00:14:27.40 do you think he might have 00:14:27.40\00:14:28.10 had something like that? 00:14:28.10\00:14:29.83 Now, I ask you the question 00:14:29.83\00:14:30.90 because think about it 00:14:30.90\00:14:32.17 for a minute. 00:14:32.17\00:14:32.67 You remember the story 00:14:32.67\00:14:33.90 when Jesus fed the multitude. 00:14:33.90\00:14:35.40 He did it on two occasions. 00:14:35.40\00:14:37.17 But when he fed the 5,000, 00:14:37.17\00:14:38.64 that little boy 00:14:38.64\00:14:39.57 just had those five loaves 00:14:39.57\00:14:40.91 and two fish. 00:14:40.91\00:14:41.88 Was that enough 00:14:41.88\00:14:43.68 for the multitude? 00:14:43.68\00:14:44.78 Was that sufficient for them? 00:14:44.78\00:14:46.08 Well, it wasn't 00:14:47.35\00:14:48.15 in itself, right. 00:14:48.15\00:14:49.38 But when he gave it to 00:14:49.38\00:14:50.45 Jesus, Jesus 00:14:50.45\00:14:51.59 multiplied it. 00:14:52.32\00:14:53.52 So don't ever depreciate 00:14:53.52\00:14:55.02 your own resources, okay? 00:14:55.02\00:14:56.79 Don't say, Well, 00:14:56.79\00:14:57.29 I could never do anything 00:14:57.43\00:14:58.26 for the Lord, 00:14:58.26\00:14:58.59 not even here in town, 00:14:58.79\00:14:59.56 because I don't know my Bible 00:14:59.56\00:15:01.10 well enough, 00:15:01.10\00:15:01.70 or I don't have this talent 00:15:01.76\00:15:03.40 or that talent. 00:15:03.40\00:15:04.43 Just use what you have, 00:15:04.43\00:15:05.67 bring your 00:15:05.67\00:15:07.34 barley loaves to Jesus 00:15:07.34\00:15:09.14 and he'll multiply them. 00:15:09.14\00:15:11.51 Camels. Fascinating animals. 00:15:11.51\00:15:13.58 Over 60 times in the Bible. 00:15:13.58\00:15:15.41 Camels are mentioned. 00:15:15.41\00:15:16.24 Did you know that? 00:15:16.24\00:15:17.31 You can look at it. 00:15:17.31\00:15:18.45 Many stories about camels. 00:15:18.45\00:15:20.02 So while we were there 00:15:20.02\00:15:21.22 in the United Arab Emirates, 00:15:21.22\00:15:22.75 after speaking one day, 00:15:22.75\00:15:23.79 they said, well, 00:15:23.79\00:15:24.45 you know, 00:15:24.45\00:15:24.69 there's a little time 00:15:25.02\00:15:25.35 this evening 00:15:25.42\00:15:25.79 you want to come out and 00:15:26.02\00:15:26.76 and see 00:15:26.76\00:15:27.39 some of the local villages. 00:15:27.39\00:15:29.12 So we left the 00:15:29.12\00:15:30.86 we were actually staying. 00:15:30.86\00:15:31.83 They had put us up on a 00:15:31.83\00:15:33.13 manmade island. 00:15:33.13\00:15:34.73 If you're not aware, 00:15:34.73\00:15:35.56 a lot of the coastline 00:15:35.56\00:15:37.90 has been extended 00:15:37.90\00:15:39.20 in places like Dubai 00:15:39.20\00:15:40.47 and other 00:15:40.47\00:15:40.97 of the Emirates there. 00:15:40.97\00:15:42.44 So we were staying 00:15:42.44\00:15:43.67 on a manmade island, 00:15:43.67\00:15:44.94 a huge island, 00:15:44.94\00:15:45.91 multiple 00:15:45.91\00:15:47.28 dwellings 00:15:47.28\00:15:47.88 there, hotels and things. 00:15:47.88\00:15:50.08 And so we went into the 00:15:50.08\00:15:52.05 to the real 00:15:52.05\00:15:52.88 country, 00:15:54.25\00:15:55.28 not something that 00:15:55.68\00:15:56.35 someone built out of the sea. 00:15:56.35\00:15:58.49 And here they are 00:15:58.49\00:16:00.26 training their camels. 00:16:00.26\00:16:01.76 How many of you can imagine 00:16:01.76\00:16:03.12 camels racing? 00:16:03.12\00:16:05.73 That just was not in my 00:16:06.26\00:16:08.23 vocabulary. 00:16:08.40\00:16:09.76 We didn't 00:16:09.76\00:16:10.13 actually see them racing, 00:16:10.40\00:16:11.30 but supposedly 00:16:11.30\00:16:12.07 they had been 00:16:12.07\00:16:12.47 the end of the day, 00:16:13.30\00:16:14.40 and they're 00:16:14.40\00:16:15.10 bringing them in now. 00:16:15.10\00:16:17.04 There's also camels 00:16:17.04\00:16:18.04 that are feeding out 00:16:18.04\00:16:18.91 alongside the road, 00:16:18.91\00:16:20.34 and Sonja 00:16:20.34\00:16:21.38 would not miss getting 00:16:21.38\00:16:22.74 close up to the camels 00:16:22.74\00:16:24.98 and a very gracious herdsman. 00:16:24.98\00:16:28.58 These are wealthy folks 00:16:29.25\00:16:31.35 that are herding camels. 00:16:31.35\00:16:32.55 They tell us the camels list, 00:16:32.55\00:16:34.66 you know, the low end 00:16:34.66\00:16:36.22 for like $10,000. 00:16:36.22\00:16:37.93 So this is not inexpensive. 00:16:37.93\00:16:39.96 And he's out there driving his, 00:16:39.96\00:16:41.73 you know, late 00:16:41.73\00:16:42.33 model pickup or four wheel 00:16:42.33\00:16:43.87 drive out in the desert, 00:16:43.87\00:16:45.13 herding, herding cattle, 00:16:45.13\00:16:46.94 camels, not cattle. 00:16:46.94\00:16:49.04 Here is that 00:16:49.04\00:16:49.54 we stopped at a camel farm. 00:16:49.70\00:16:51.91 And they're interesting 00:16:51.91\00:16:53.58 creatures. 00:16:53.58\00:16:54.11 They're very curious, 00:16:54.11\00:16:56.01 the camels are. 00:16:56.01\00:16:56.88 We were kind of curious 00:16:56.88\00:16:57.85 about the locals, too. 00:16:57.85\00:16:59.41 And this connected us 00:16:59.41\00:17:01.45 with Middle 00:17:01.45\00:17:02.05 Eastern hospitality. 00:17:02.05\00:17:03.32 You know what Paul said 00:17:03.32\00:17:04.15 in Hebrews 13? 00:17:04.15\00:17:05.49 He said, Don't neglect 00:17:05.49\00:17:06.99 to show hospitality 00:17:06.99\00:17:08.19 to strangers 00:17:08.19\00:17:09.52 for thereby 00:17:09.52\00:17:10.23 some have entertained 00:17:10.23\00:17:11.53 angels unawares. 00:17:11.53\00:17:13.19 Now, we were under no delusion. 00:17:13.19\00:17:15.40 We were not angels, 00:17:15.40\00:17:16.36 but we saw some of the 00:17:16.36\00:17:17.53 owners of the camels 00:17:17.53\00:17:18.93 in a little, they 00:17:20.07\00:17:21.07 came kind of like, 00:17:21.07\00:17:22.50 as I understand it, 00:17:22.50\00:17:23.87 they have like a camp 00:17:23.87\00:17:25.04 where they stay during the day. 00:17:25.04\00:17:26.14 And then they have 00:17:26.14\00:17:26.54 their nice homes 00:17:26.61\00:17:27.41 where they go in the evenings. 00:17:27.41\00:17:28.74 So they're kind of in these, 00:17:28.74\00:17:30.08 these humble 00:17:30.08\00:17:31.28 dwellings where they 00:17:31.28\00:17:32.55 can get out of the sun. 00:17:32.55\00:17:34.25 They've got some laborers 00:17:34.25\00:17:35.45 that work for them 00:17:35.45\00:17:36.12 and actually do the 00:17:36.12\00:17:37.32 a lot of the dirty work 00:17:37.32\00:17:38.19 with the camels. 00:17:38.19\00:17:39.85 And 00:17:39.85\00:17:40.69 think about this. 00:17:41.62\00:17:42.49 Think, 00:17:42.49\00:17:42.72 think about this scenario 00:17:43.12\00:17:44.16 with Abraham. 00:17:44.16\00:17:44.86 I want you to connect this 00:17:44.86\00:17:46.06 and I'll tell you 00:17:46.06\00:17:46.56 what happened to us. 00:17:46.56\00:17:47.73 In Genesis 18, 00:17:47.73\00:17:49.63 Abraham is sitting there 00:17:49.63\00:17:51.10 at his tent and he looks out 00:17:51.10\00:17:53.67 and he sees three men. 00:17:54.10\00:17:57.54 And what does he do? Okay. 00:21:20.01\00:21:22.28 So it's it's 00:21:22.28\00:21:24.55 some people would say 00:21:24.81\00:21:25.58 is kind of over the top. 00:21:25.58\00:21:27.98 Every half hour 00:21:27.98\00:21:29.82 huge fountains out 00:21:29.82\00:21:32.09 just beyond the Burj 00:21:32.09\00:21:33.62 this this tallest building. 00:21:33.62\00:21:35.19 People gathering around, 00:21:35.19\00:21:36.36 you can see 00:21:36.36\00:21:36.79 all the people there 00:21:36.89\00:21:37.49 in the evening 00:21:37.49\00:21:38.36 and lighted 00:21:38.36\00:21:39.03 fountains, 00:21:39.03\00:21:39.63 choreographed music shows. 00:21:39.63\00:21:43.20 They're trying to make this 00:21:43.20\00:21:44.37 a world destination. 00:21:44.37\00:21:45.67 And it's working. 00:21:45.67\00:21:46.47 People from all over the world 00:21:46.47\00:21:47.77 coming there 00:21:47.77\00:21:48.57 and they're crowding in. 00:21:48.57\00:21:49.57 This is a picture 00:21:49.57\00:21:50.34 from the evening. 00:21:50.34\00:21:51.41 Okay. 00:21:51.41\00:21:51.84 It's like nine or ten at night 00:21:52.07\00:21:53.64 and people just crowding there 00:21:53.64\00:21:55.88 into Dubai, into this city 00:21:55.88\00:21:58.25 that's been built up 00:21:58.25\00:21:59.71 out of the desert. 00:21:59.71\00:22:01.68 Here's a view 00:22:01.68\00:22:02.35 from the 124th 00:22:02.35\00:22:04.22 floor of the Burj Khalifa. 00:22:04.22\00:22:06.15 By the way, there's 00:22:06.15\00:22:06.82 no roof there. 00:22:06.82\00:22:07.96 So when Sonja and I 00:22:07.96\00:22:08.76 went up there, it's 00:22:08.76\00:22:09.36 kind of an interesting thing 00:22:09.42\00:22:10.89 to look up 00:22:10.89\00:22:11.93 and you're seeing the clouds, 00:22:11.93\00:22:13.19 you know, 00:22:13.19\00:22:13.40 kind of pass over you there. 00:22:13.86\00:22:15.56 It doesn't rain much. 00:22:15.93\00:22:17.20 So I guess they're 00:22:17.20\00:22:17.73 not too worried 00:22:17.73\00:22:18.60 about needing a lot of shelter. 00:22:18.60\00:22:22.04 The current ruler, 00:22:22.04\00:22:24.37 the Sheikh here, 00:22:24.37\00:22:26.64 he has a quote 00:22:26.64\00:22:27.81 that appears there in the Burj, 00:22:27.81\00:22:30.18 The word impossible is not 00:22:30.18\00:22:32.75 in the leaders?ctionaries. 00:22:32.75\00:22:34.92 So this is 00:22:36.02\00:22:36.95 his philosophy and 00:22:36.95\00:22:37.92 the philosophy 00:22:37.92\00:22:38.65 of many in leadership 00:22:38.65\00:22:39.75 there in Dubai. 00:22:39.75\00:22:40.96 And as I thought about that, 00:22:40.96\00:22:42.02 I thought about 00:22:42.02\00:22:42.46 another leader's words, 00:22:42.59\00:22:45.69 the King of kings. 00:22:45.69\00:22:47.13 And Matthew 17, 00:22:47.13\00:22:48.36 He said, truly, 00:22:48.36\00:22:49.13 I tell you, 00:22:49.13\00:22:50.07 if you have faith 00:22:50.07\00:22:51.10 as small as a mustard seed, 00:22:51.10\00:22:52.53 you can say 00:22:52.53\00:22:52.93 to this mountain, move 00:22:53.07\00:22:53.94 from here to there 00:22:53.94\00:22:54.77 and it will move. 00:22:54.77\00:22:55.84 Nothing will be impossible 00:22:55.84\00:22:57.44 for you. 00:22:57.44\00:22:57.87 God wants us to have 00:22:57.97\00:22:58.71 that same vision 00:22:58.71\00:22:59.51 that can do vision. 00:22:59.51\00:23:00.88 So there they are, 00:23:00.88\00:23:01.51 reclaiming land, 00:23:01.51\00:23:02.68 building land out of the ocean. 00:23:02.68\00:23:04.35 They're building 00:23:04.35\00:23:04.88 these great memorials 00:23:04.88\00:23:06.61 there in Dubai, if you will. 00:23:06.61\00:23:08.22 And I ask, well, 00:23:08.22\00:23:08.75 what would happen to us 00:23:08.75\00:23:09.72 if our attitude was that 00:23:09.72\00:23:10.89 we were going to build 00:23:10.89\00:23:11.79 memorials for God? 00:23:11.79\00:23:12.95 What would our memorials 00:23:12.95\00:23:14.06 look like? 00:23:14.06\00:23:14.52 Would they look like Dubai 00:23:14.69\00:23:15.49 or would 00:23:15.49\00:23:15.69 they look like 00:23:15.89\00:23:16.39 something different? 00:23:16.39\00:23:17.36 After all, Jesus said, 00:23:17.36\00:23:19.03 we already looked 00:23:19.03\00:23:19.96 all power is given unto me, 00:23:19.96\00:23:21.96 so there's not a limitation. 00:23:22.16\00:23:24.23 It was interesting to me 00:23:24.23\00:23:25.47 as we looked at the different 00:23:25.47\00:23:26.63 aspects of that Burj Khalifa, 00:23:26.63\00:23:28.47 it was like a pillar 00:23:29.74\00:23:30.64 of fire by night. 00:23:30.64\00:23:32.67 You know, the Bible talks 00:23:32.67\00:23:33.61 about an even more, 00:23:33.61\00:23:34.74 to me, 00:23:34.74\00:23:35.31 impressive pillar of fire, 00:23:35.38\00:23:36.91 was God's presence Himself. 00:23:36.91\00:23:39.28 And His presence 00:23:39.28\00:23:41.38 blessing the sanctuary 00:23:41.38\00:23:42.75 with His physical presence, 00:23:42.75\00:23:44.32 the Shekhinah glory. 00:23:44.32\00:23:47.46 On the way back 00:23:47.46\00:23:49.42 from Qatar to 00:23:49.66\00:23:50.96 we flew back through Dallas. 00:23:50.96\00:23:52.86 They had a 00:23:52.86\00:23:53.40 they had a documentary, 00:23:53.40\00:23:54.93 a documentary 00:23:54.93\00:23:56.50 that dealt 00:23:56.50\00:23:57.07 with beauty, architecture 00:23:57.13\00:23:58.77 and your brain. 00:23:58.77\00:24:00.30 I hadn't really 00:24:00.30\00:24:01.50 known anything 00:24:01.50\00:24:02.10 about neuroscience 00:24:02.10\00:24:03.20 and how it relates to 00:24:03.20\00:24:04.91 architecture. 00:24:04.91\00:24:06.34 And these researchers 00:24:06.34\00:24:07.71 were talking about 00:24:07.71\00:24:08.44 how architecture, 00:24:08.44\00:24:09.88 how buildings 00:24:09.88\00:24:11.38 can either put you 00:24:11.38\00:24:12.51 in a frame of mind 00:24:12.51\00:24:13.38 that's relaxing and calming, 00:24:13.38\00:24:15.28 or it can agitate you. 00:24:15.28\00:24:17.05 And I was thinking 00:24:17.05\00:24:17.75 about the sanctuary 00:24:17.75\00:24:19.39 and all the symmetry. 00:24:19.39\00:24:20.76 They were 00:24:20.76\00:24:20.92 talking about these different 00:24:21.46\00:24:21.76 aspects of ideal buildings, 00:24:22.12\00:24:23.59 and it sounded like 00:24:23.59\00:24:25.39 in Dubai 00:24:25.39\00:24:26.03 they were trying to imitate 00:24:26.03\00:24:27.86 the sanctuary 00:24:27.86\00:24:28.80 and it sounded like 00:24:28.80\00:24:29.53 the scientists 00:24:29.53\00:24:30.30 were speaking about 00:24:30.30\00:24:31.40 God's sanctuary. 00:24:31.40\00:24:32.90 Do you know that the Burj 00:24:32.90\00:24:34.07 Khalifa has its own scent? 00:24:34.07\00:24:36.40 Special aromas 00:24:36.40\00:24:37.74 that have been 00:24:37.74\00:24:38.04 blended there infuse 00:24:38.27\00:24:39.24 through the air conditioning? 00:24:39.24\00:24:40.41 This is not original. 00:24:41.91\00:24:43.38 In Exodus 30, 00:24:43.38\00:24:45.08 a special 00:24:45.08\00:24:46.41 aroma was associated 00:24:46.41\00:24:48.08 with the sanctuary. 00:24:48.08\00:24:49.05 So all these things 00:24:49.05\00:24:50.75 that really speak to us 00:24:50.75\00:24:52.92 of God's memorials. 00:24:52.92\00:24:54.66 He wants to create something 00:24:54.66\00:24:56.02 that powerfully impacts 00:24:56.02\00:24:57.19 senses of people today. 00:24:57.19\00:24:59.23 And what is that? 00:24:59.23\00:25:00.96 Well, 00:25:01.03\00:25:01.80 I hope you're getting 00:25:01.80\00:25:02.56 some encouragement, whether you 00:25:02.56\00:25:04.13 whether you resonate 00:25:04.13\00:25:05.17 and you think, well, 00:25:05.17\00:25:05.73 these folks must be inspired 00:25:05.83\00:25:07.04 by God in Dubai. 00:25:07.04\00:25:08.14 I don't know what 00:25:08.14\00:25:08.87 their inspiration is. 00:25:08.87\00:25:09.84 Some people say, 00:25:09.84\00:25:10.41 Oh, it's just commercialism. 00:25:10.51\00:25:12.07 But Jesus said, 00:25:12.07\00:25:13.21 we need to learn 00:25:13.21\00:25:14.28 even from people 00:25:14.28\00:25:15.68 that don't claim to follow God. 00:25:15.68\00:25:17.41 And I think 00:25:17.41\00:25:17.75 most of the people 00:25:17.91\00:25:18.38 there, you'll find 00:25:18.38\00:25:18.95 those say 00:25:18.95\00:25:19.28 they're following God. 00:25:19.48\00:25:21.18 But let me 00:25:21.35\00:25:22.08 give you a final lesson. 00:25:22.08\00:25:23.45 And it comes from Seventh-day 00:25:23.45\00:25:24.65 Adventist history. And 00:25:24.65\00:25:26.72 you may 00:25:27.72\00:25:28.39 think that the time has passed. 00:25:28.39\00:25:31.43 There's no reason for us 00:25:31.43\00:25:33.63 to build memorials for God. 00:25:33.63\00:25:35.93 But our early pioneers 00:25:36.33\00:25:39.00 in the Seventh-day Adventist 00:25:39.00\00:25:39.90 church realized 00:25:39.90\00:25:40.80 we needed to be building 00:25:40.80\00:25:41.94 memorials. 00:25:41.94\00:25:43.47 Let me put it this way for you. 00:25:43.94\00:25:45.77 This is from the book 00:25:45.77\00:25:46.51 Councils on Stewardship. 00:25:46.51\00:25:48.84 It says, Can you not see that 00:25:48.84\00:25:50.68 He, God, wants you 00:25:50.68\00:25:51.65 to use your means 00:25:51.65\00:25:52.48 in helping to build 00:25:52.48\00:25:53.35 meetinghouse churches, 00:25:53.35\00:25:54.92 established sanitariums, 00:25:54.92\00:25:57.72 helping to start schools. 00:25:57.72\00:25:59.95 Now listen here. 00:26:01.06\00:26:02.19 This is really significant 00:26:02.19\00:26:05.36 because some people say 00:26:05.39\00:26:06.63 the end is too close. 00:26:06.63\00:26:08.86 A great work must be done 00:26:08.86\00:26:10.37 all through the world. 00:26:10.37\00:26:11.23 And let no one 00:26:11.23\00:26:12.07 conclude that 00:26:12.07\00:26:13.44 because the end is near, 00:26:13.44\00:26:14.74 that there is no need 00:26:14.74\00:26:15.57 of special effort 00:26:15.57\00:26:17.01 to build up 00:26:17.01\00:26:17.57 the various institutions 00:26:17.57\00:26:18.94 as the cause shall demand. 00:26:18.94\00:26:20.71 When the Lord shall bid 00:26:20.71\00:26:22.61 us make no further effort 00:26:22.61\00:26:24.21 to build meeting houses 00:26:24.21\00:26:25.78 and establish 00:26:25.78\00:26:26.48 schools, sanitariums 00:26:26.48\00:26:27.78 and publishing institutions. 00:26:27.78\00:26:29.92 It will be time for us 00:26:29.92\00:26:31.02 to fold our hands 00:26:31.02\00:26:32.55 and let the Lord 00:26:32.55\00:26:33.25 close up the work. 00:26:33.25\00:26:34.66 But now is our opportunity 00:26:34.66\00:26:36.32 to show our zeal for God 00:26:36.32\00:26:37.96 and our love for humanity. 00:26:37.96\00:26:40.23 Here is the concluding message 00:26:40.23\00:26:41.73 for us. 00:26:41.73\00:26:42.60 Can we catch the vision 00:26:42.60\00:26:44.30 of people over there 00:26:44.30\00:26:45.23 in the Middle East 00:26:45.23\00:26:45.97 who are trying to do 00:26:45.97\00:26:46.63 great things? 00:26:46.63\00:26:47.67 I know, 00:26:47.67\00:26:48.07 I know you've caught the vision 00:26:48.37\00:26:49.20 in many respects 00:26:49.20\00:26:49.97 because you're doing 00:26:49.97\00:26:50.54 that here in Fort Wayne, right? 00:26:50.67\00:26:51.84 You said 00:26:51.84\00:26:52.14 we're going to step out 00:26:52.41\00:26:52.97 beyond our means. 00:26:52.97\00:26:54.14 We're not just saying 00:26:54.14\00:26:55.01 we've got enough money 00:26:55.01\00:26:55.78 from oil fields 00:26:55.78\00:26:57.18 that we can build, 00:26:57.18\00:26:58.68 but we're going on 00:26:58.68\00:26:59.61 God's program 00:26:59.61\00:27:00.82 of stepping out in faith 00:27:00.82\00:27:02.38 and doing things for Him. 00:27:02.38\00:27:03.59 I encourage all of you 00:27:03.59\00:27:05.29 to ask the Lord 00:27:05.29\00:27:06.15 what He's calling you to do, 00:27:06.15\00:27:07.16 to continue to partner with us 00:27:07.16\00:27:08.49 and the things 00:27:08.49\00:27:08.89 we've undertaken jointly 00:27:09.09\00:27:10.29 and to go forward in His grace. 00:27:10.29\00:27:15.16 God is calling us 00:27:15.16\00:27:16.13 out of our comfort zone 00:27:16.13\00:27:17.63 to make a difference 00:27:17.63\00:27:18.70 on planet Earth. 00:27:18.70\00:27:20.27 I don't know 00:27:20.27\00:27:20.70 what He's inviting you to do, 00:27:20.97\00:27:21.90 but I know the Holy Spirit 00:27:21.90\00:27:23.10 will guide you 00:27:23.10\00:27:24.07 as you seek to partner 00:27:24.07\00:27:25.64 with Jesus. 00:27:25.64\00:27:27.01 And by the way, 00:27:27.01\00:27:27.61 thank you for each one of you 00:27:27.71\00:27:28.81 who is partnering with us, 00:27:28.81\00:27:30.31 making this ministry possible. 00:27:30.31\00:27:32.21 It is only by 00:27:32.21\00:27:33.15 generous donations 00:27:33.15\00:27:34.35 from people like you 00:27:34.35\00:27:35.92 that keep 00:27:35.92\00:27:36.48 Timeless Healing 00:27:36.48\00:27:37.35 Insights in production 00:27:37.35\00:27:38.55 and going out 00:27:38.55\00:27:39.09 throughout the world. 00:27:39.09\00:27:40.32 If you want to be 00:27:40.32\00:27:40.82 a part of this program 00:27:40.82\00:27:42.06 through your prayers 00:27:42.06\00:27:42.96 and through your 00:27:42.96\00:27:43.56 financial support, 00:27:43.56\00:27:44.96 you can meet us 00:27:44.96\00:27:46.80 at 00:27:46.80\00:27:47.03 www.TimelessHealingInsights.org. 00:27:47.50\00:27:51.90 Again, 00:27:51.90\00:27:52.30 that's 00:27:52.30\00:27:52.53 www.TimelessHealingInsights.org. 00:27:53.00\00:27:57.64
