Yeah. 00:02:03.55\00:02:04.89 The more I answer questions, 00:02:04.92\00:02:06.25 the more I discover how much I don't know. 00:02:06.29\00:02:07.62 Amen. 00:02:07.69\00:02:09.02 The Bible is a deep ocean 00:02:09.06\00:02:10.39 and you know, you might ride one way, 00:02:10.43\00:02:12.46 but below your 20,000 feet of unexplored Word. 00:02:12.49\00:02:16.13 So thank you for your challenging questions. 00:02:16.16\00:02:18.57 Thank you so much. 00:02:18.60\00:02:19.93 And we want to let you know 00:02:19.97\00:02:22.07 how you can participate in this program 00:02:22.10\00:02:24.44 because it is your questions that we are asking. 00:02:24.47\00:02:28.04 And I like to give you a little bit about 00:02:28.08\00:02:29.51 what the format is like. 00:02:29.54\00:02:32.58 To answer as many questions as possible, 00:02:32.61\00:02:34.82 each person will have two minutes 00:02:34.85\00:02:36.38 to answer the question, 00:02:36.42\00:02:38.45 but there's one question 00:02:38.49\00:02:39.82 that perhaps needs a little more time 00:02:39.85\00:02:42.66 and then they have one question will be three minutes 00:02:42.69\00:02:45.69 because we're trying to get to as many questions 00:02:45.73\00:02:47.83 as possible in this time. 00:02:47.86\00:02:49.60 So we want to invite you to send your questions 00:02:49.63\00:02:52.93 and there you can do it by text, by the way. 00:02:52.97\00:02:55.54 And the number to do that with is (618) 228-3975. 00:02:55.57\00:03:01.61 (618) 228-3975. 00:03:01.64\00:03:04.68 There's also an email that you can try. 00:03:04.71\00:03:07.02 And that's BibleQA@3abn.tv 00:03:07.05\00:03:10.69 BibleQA@3abn.tv 00:03:10.72\00:03:13.76 One more time, BibleQA@3abn.tv 00:03:13.79\00:03:17.06 Before we launch into your questions, 00:03:17.13\00:03:20.80 we're going to have prayer 00:03:20.83\00:03:22.26 and I'm going to ask Shelley Quinn, 00:03:22.30\00:03:23.63 if you'll lead us, please. 00:03:23.67\00:03:25.00 Absolutely. 00:03:25.03\00:03:26.47 Our wonderful and loving heavenly Father, 00:03:26.50\00:03:28.50 we come before You right now, 00:03:28.54\00:03:29.97 thanking You for this time, O Lord, 00:03:30.01\00:03:33.64 to concentrate on Your Word 00:03:33.68\00:03:35.71 and we ask in the name of Jesus, 00:03:35.74\00:03:39.61 You would send Your Holy Spirit, 00:03:39.65\00:03:41.92 anoint our lips, anoint our ears, 00:03:41.95\00:03:44.19 help each one of us to hear and, Lord, 00:03:44.25\00:03:48.29 to put into practice what we learned. 00:03:48.32\00:03:51.36 But, Father, our point in doing this, 00:03:51.39\00:03:55.36 we do this, of course, for our viewers, 00:03:55.40\00:03:58.83 our listening audience, but we do it to glorify You. 00:03:58.87\00:04:04.27 And, Father, we want answers directly from the Bible 00:04:04.31\00:04:09.01 that will bring You glory. 00:04:09.04\00:04:10.41 Amen. 00:04:10.45\00:04:11.78 Please help us in Jesus' name. 00:04:11.81\00:04:13.15 Amen. Amen. 00:04:13.18\00:04:14.52 Amen. Thank you. 00:04:14.55\00:04:15.88 And Psalm 119:105, the Bible says, 00:04:15.92\00:04:21.02 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." 00:04:21.06\00:04:25.86 And it is our prayer 00:04:25.89\00:04:27.23 that as we go through this program 00:04:27.30\00:04:29.06 and you hear Bible answers to your questions, 00:04:29.10\00:04:31.93 you will see that God has a light to your feet 00:04:31.97\00:04:34.07 and a light to your path. 00:04:34.10\00:04:35.64 So we began with Pastor John Lomacang. 00:04:35.67\00:04:38.44 And in this question, we go to Revelation 5:10, 00:04:38.47\00:04:43.68 or Revelation 20. 00:04:43.71\00:04:45.05 Does Revelation 5:10 or Revelation 20 00:04:45.08\00:04:47.25 give a reason to believe in a secret rapture? 00:04:47.28\00:04:51.55 A question from Eileen. 00:04:51.59\00:04:54.32 Well, thank you, Eileen, for the question, 00:04:54.39\00:04:55.72 but the answer is no. 00:04:55.76\00:04:57.79 Revelation Chapter 5, 00:04:57.86\00:04:59.19 in all of the Book of Revelation, 00:04:59.23\00:05:00.73 none of its verses give reason to believe 00:05:00.80\00:05:03.47 in a secret rapture. 00:05:03.50\00:05:05.53 Now the word rapture means to be caught away 00:05:05.57\00:05:09.00 not with your own power. 00:05:09.04\00:05:10.47 Another power is drawing you. 00:05:10.54\00:05:12.54 And so, but when we say the word rapture, 00:05:12.57\00:05:14.78 we tend to think of secret rapture. 00:05:14.81\00:05:16.78 People just disappearing, planes flying off course, 00:05:16.81\00:05:19.88 cars are disappearing, 00:05:19.91\00:05:21.38 people disappear at the dinner table. 00:05:21.42\00:05:23.39 But if that were the case, 00:05:23.42\00:05:24.75 then you have to also follow through that natural thought 00:05:24.79\00:05:27.69 because Revelation 5:10 reads as follows 00:05:27.72\00:05:30.76 and have made us kings and priests to our God 00:05:30.79\00:05:34.83 and we shall reign on the earth. 00:05:34.83\00:05:37.77 What that supposing is the moment people disappear, 00:05:37.80\00:05:40.67 they start reigning on the earth. 00:05:40.74\00:05:42.37 And that would even be contrary to the re rapture theory, 00:05:42.40\00:05:45.77 which is in fact, 00:05:45.81\00:05:47.18 a concoction that doesn't have any Bible support. 00:05:47.21\00:05:49.68 The rapture theory, the secret rapture theory, 00:05:49.71\00:05:52.18 which is not supported by Scripture, 00:05:52.21\00:05:53.82 teaches that when people disappear, 00:05:53.85\00:05:56.18 there's a seven year tribulation. 00:05:56.22\00:05:57.69 And then during that seven year tribulation, 00:05:57.72\00:06:00.62 the Jews are converted. 00:06:00.66\00:06:02.06 They convert the world 00:06:02.09\00:06:03.43 and then there's a reign on earth, a millennial reign. 00:06:03.46\00:06:05.79 So this whole discombobulated theory, 00:06:05.83\00:06:08.40 what it does, it often tries to find places 00:06:08.43\00:06:10.80 in Scripture for support, 00:06:10.87\00:06:12.50 when in fact this is simply fulfilling 00:06:12.53\00:06:14.80 what the Lord had already promised. 00:06:14.84\00:06:16.37 In Matthew 5:5, "Blessed are the meek, 00:06:16.40\00:06:19.07 for they shall inherit the earth." 00:06:19.11\00:06:21.28 The inhabitation, the habitation of the earth 00:06:21.31\00:06:23.61 is the ultimate reward of the righteous 00:06:23.65\00:06:26.28 after sin is completely eliminated, 00:06:26.31\00:06:29.85 completely eradicated, and the earth is made new. 00:06:29.88\00:06:33.96 As Revelation 21 says, 00:06:33.99\00:06:35.32 "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, 00:06:35.36\00:06:37.63 for the first heaven and the first earth 00:06:37.66\00:06:39.43 had passed away." 00:06:39.46\00:06:40.80 So that's Revelation 21:1-2, and also Psalm 37:11, 00:06:40.83\00:06:45.50 "But the meek shall inherit the earth 00:06:45.53\00:06:47.44 and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." 00:06:47.50\00:06:50.61 So Revelation 20 simply is the last picture 00:06:50.67\00:06:53.94 of God dealing with the sin problem 00:06:53.98\00:06:56.08 and eradicating it, not an earthly reign. 00:06:56.11\00:06:59.15 Thank you. 00:06:59.18\00:07:01.05 Well, we now move to Jason Bradley. 00:07:01.08\00:07:03.39 And number one question for you is sometimes this, 00:07:03.42\00:07:06.32 you can feel the pain here. 00:07:06.35\00:07:07.69 Sometimes I feel as if there's no way 00:07:07.76\00:07:10.29 to make it to heaven. 00:07:10.33\00:07:11.93 I don't think I can ever be perfect. 00:07:11.96\00:07:14.20 And it seems like one little mistake 00:07:14.20\00:07:17.37 and I am going to hell, please help. 00:07:17.43\00:07:21.44 This is from Devona from Texas. 00:07:21.47\00:07:24.57 Devona, the Word of God has some great news for you. 00:07:24.61\00:07:27.64 So let's get some comfort from His Word. 00:07:27.68\00:07:30.38 John 3:16-17 says, "For God, 00:07:30.41\00:07:33.92 so loved the world 00:07:33.98\00:07:35.32 that He gave His only begotten Son 00:07:35.35\00:07:36.69 that whoever believes in Him should not perish, 00:07:36.72\00:07:39.15 but have everlasting life. 00:07:39.19\00:07:40.92 For God did not send His Son into the world 00:07:40.96\00:07:43.36 to condemn the world, 00:07:43.39\00:07:45.03 but that the world through Him might be saved." 00:07:45.06\00:07:47.66 Jesus died for you, Devona. 00:07:47.76\00:07:50.03 2 Peter 3:9 says, 00:07:50.07\00:07:52.73 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise 00:07:52.77\00:07:55.67 as some count slackness, 00:07:55.70\00:07:57.24 but is long-suffering toward us, 00:07:57.27\00:07:59.24 not willing that any should perish, 00:07:59.27\00:08:01.94 but that all should come to repentance." 00:08:01.98\00:08:05.28 We all fall down at times, but we have to get back up. 00:08:05.31\00:08:08.78 Proverbs 24:16 says, 00:08:08.82\00:08:11.25 "For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, 00:08:11.29\00:08:15.22 but the wicked shall fall by calamity." 00:08:15.26\00:08:18.73 Claim this promise, 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, 00:08:18.76\00:08:24.10 He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins 00:08:24.13\00:08:27.57 and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 00:08:27.60\00:08:30.77 Walk in the spirit, Devona. 00:08:30.84\00:08:32.47 Romans 8:1 says, 00:08:32.51\00:08:34.41 "There is therefore now no condemnation 00:08:34.44\00:08:38.25 to those who are in Christ Jesus, 00:08:38.28\00:08:40.25 who do not walk according to the flesh, 00:08:40.28\00:08:42.42 but according to the spirit." 00:08:42.45\00:08:44.72 And as Pastor Lomacang always says, 00:08:44.75\00:08:47.19 we are saints under construction. 00:08:47.22\00:08:50.03 Philippians 1:6 says, 00:08:50.06\00:08:52.19 "Being confident of this very thing 00:08:52.23\00:08:54.36 that He who has begun a good work in you 00:08:54.40\00:08:57.30 will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." 00:08:57.37\00:09:01.14 Don't rely on your own strength. 00:09:01.20\00:09:03.51 Philippians 4:13 says, 00:09:03.54\00:09:05.77 "I can do all things through Christ Jesus, 00:09:05.81\00:09:08.71 through Christ who strengthens me." 00:09:08.74\00:09:10.98 I'll leave you with this, Ephesians 2:8-9, 00:09:11.01\00:09:15.35 "For by grace, you have been saved 00:09:15.38\00:09:17.45 through faith and that not of yourselves, 00:09:17.52\00:09:19.55 it is the gift of God, 00:09:19.59\00:09:21.19 not of works, lest anyone should boast." 00:09:21.22\00:09:24.16 We can't work our way into heaven. 00:09:24.19\00:09:25.93 Find comfort in the words that are found in Scripture. 00:09:25.96\00:09:29.03 Amen. 00:09:29.06\00:09:30.40 Thank you. Thank you. 00:09:30.43\00:09:31.77 Shelley Quinn, I have one for you. 00:09:31.80\00:09:34.57 I just have a question that comes to mind 00:09:34.64\00:09:36.64 after reading Genesis 3:22. 00:09:36.67\00:09:39.81 What does it mean to know good and evil in this context? 00:09:39.84\00:09:43.95 This is from Ray. 00:09:43.98\00:09:45.31 Ray, Genesis 3:22 says, "And the Lord said, 00:09:45.35\00:09:50.22 'Behold, the man has become like 00:09:50.25\00:09:53.59 one of us to know good and evil.'" 00:09:53.62\00:09:57.06 The Holy God, who is the Father, Son, 00:09:57.09\00:10:00.40 and Spirit know and understand 00:10:00.43\00:10:05.50 good and evil by omniscience because God knows everything. 00:10:05.53\00:10:11.21 Adam and Eve abused the power of free will 00:10:11.27\00:10:15.78 and they learned good and evil through a personal experience. 00:10:15.81\00:10:20.08 You know, there's a huge difference 00:10:20.12\00:10:22.32 in how they received the knowledge, 00:10:22.35\00:10:25.69 and there's a huge difference in their understanding. 00:10:25.72\00:10:28.62 You know, there's a difference in the way 00:10:28.66\00:10:30.23 a doctor looks at a disease 00:10:30.26\00:10:32.73 and the patient looks at the disease. 00:10:32.76\00:10:34.76 A doctor understands the cause and effect, 00:10:34.83\00:10:37.40 the patient only the pain. 00:10:37.43\00:10:39.13 The tree of knowledge of good and evil. 00:10:39.17\00:10:42.10 God did not want man to try to decide 00:10:42.14\00:10:46.34 what was good for him 00:10:46.37\00:10:48.04 or what was evil to experience 00:10:48.11\00:10:50.91 that because God created us in His image. 00:10:50.98\00:10:54.15 He wants us to accept His Word as final authority, 00:10:54.18\00:10:59.72 but Satan promised them they would become like God. 00:10:59.75\00:11:04.19 And in this only, only in this sense, 00:11:04.23\00:11:08.73 I guess you could say they did increase 00:11:08.76\00:11:12.13 because they came to understand 00:11:12.17\00:11:15.57 the results of sin. 00:11:15.60\00:11:19.57 God knew that man would make all of his future decisions 00:11:19.61\00:11:23.98 based on the depravity of his mind and evil. 00:11:24.01\00:11:28.25 So what He did was He put forth His hand graciously 00:11:28.28\00:11:32.15 to bar the entrance to the tree of life, 00:11:32.19\00:11:38.16 so that man wouldn't continue to live in sin. 00:11:38.19\00:11:41.73 And you know what we see, 00:11:41.76\00:11:43.33 this is a true picture of paradise lost, 00:11:43.37\00:11:46.03 but paradise will be restored in the new earth. 00:11:46.07\00:11:48.77 Revelation. 00:11:48.80\00:11:50.14 22:1-2 says, 00:11:50.17\00:11:51.87 "We will eat 00:11:51.91\00:11:53.24 from the tree of life in heaven." 00:11:53.27\00:11:55.08 Thank you. Thank you very much. 00:11:55.11\00:11:56.64 I like to say that in each one of these questions, 00:11:56.68\00:11:58.81 they can spend a lot more time, but we have, 00:11:58.85\00:12:01.22 we're trying to be concise and precise. 00:12:01.28\00:12:04.52 So, Pastor Lomacang, if you're ready, 00:12:04.55\00:12:06.09 we go to question number two for you. 00:12:06.12\00:12:08.52 If the soul doesn't go to heaven at death, 00:12:08.56\00:12:12.66 is there anything that does? 00:12:12.69\00:12:16.56 The Desire of Ages, 00:12:16.60\00:12:17.97 page 172 and 173, the person says, 00:12:18.00\00:12:20.77 speaks of the Book of God's Providence. 00:12:20.84\00:12:23.57 It contains every particular of our history. 00:12:23.61\00:12:26.01 Do you have more info on that? 00:12:26.04\00:12:27.48 Apparently there are two questions here. 00:12:27.51\00:12:29.74 Well, the Book of Providence doesn't add to the ideology 00:12:29.78\00:12:34.22 of anything going and not going to heaven at death. 00:12:34.25\00:12:37.49 The question I think the crux of the question is, 00:12:37.52\00:12:40.62 if the soul doesn't go to heaven at death, 00:12:40.66\00:12:42.49 is there anything that does? 00:12:42.52\00:12:43.86 While the answer is found in the Bible. 00:12:43.89\00:12:46.39 Let's go to Psalm 146:4 00:12:46.43\00:12:49.80 to start out with this question. 00:12:49.83\00:12:51.67 And then we're going to go to Ecclesiastes 12:7, 00:12:51.70\00:12:54.64 but let's start with Psalm 146 to answer the question 00:12:54.70\00:12:57.67 that you insinuated 00:12:57.71\00:12:59.71 or even suggested about the soul. 00:12:59.74\00:13:02.14 First of all, let's talk about what the soul is. 00:13:02.18\00:13:03.91 The soul is not some separate entity from the body. 00:13:03.95\00:13:06.68 It's not something that exists within the body like water 00:13:06.72\00:13:10.09 in a container or water or air in a balloon 00:13:10.12\00:13:13.52 that it departs and goes some place. 00:13:13.56\00:13:16.16 But I would use the water, 00:13:16.19\00:13:17.63 and I mean the air in the balloon as an example, 00:13:17.66\00:13:20.23 because when the air is out of the balloon, 00:13:20.26\00:13:21.76 where does it go? 00:13:21.80\00:13:23.70 It goes back to the air. 00:13:23.73\00:13:25.47 In the very same way 00:13:25.50\00:13:26.84 when God breathed into Adam's nostrils, 00:13:26.87\00:13:29.04 Genesis 2:7, 00:13:29.07\00:13:30.77 He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. 00:13:30.81\00:13:34.04 And Job 27:3, in the King James Version says, 00:13:34.08\00:13:36.78 "All the while my breath is in me 00:13:36.81\00:13:39.58 and the Spirit of God is in my nostrils." 00:13:39.61\00:13:43.25 Now I want you to get that. 00:13:43.28\00:13:44.65 The Spirit of God is in my nostrils. 00:13:44.69\00:13:46.76 How did it get there? 00:13:46.79\00:13:48.12 God breathed into Adam's nostrils. 00:13:48.16\00:13:50.16 And Adam became a living soul. 00:13:50.19\00:13:53.83 What happens at death? 00:13:53.86\00:13:55.16 Now where did that spirit come from that God breathed 00:13:55.20\00:13:58.03 into Adam's nostrils? 00:13:58.10\00:13:59.50 That's the breath of life, the psuche, 00:13:59.53\00:14:01.80 the breath of God in the body of Adam. 00:14:01.84\00:14:04.67 What happens to that? 00:14:04.71\00:14:06.04 To whom does it belong? 00:14:06.07\00:14:07.41 Psalm 146:4, "His spirit departs, 00:14:07.44\00:14:11.81 he returns to his earth, in that very day, 00:14:11.85\00:14:16.22 his plans or his thoughts perish." 00:14:16.25\00:14:18.39 And then Ecclesiastes 12:1 very quickly. 00:14:18.45\00:14:22.12 Let me go and turn there. 00:14:22.16\00:14:23.96 This is the wise man giving us another example 00:14:23.99\00:14:27.46 of what happens when a person's die, 00:14:27.50\00:14:29.76 when a person dies. 00:14:29.80\00:14:31.13 Here it is. 00:14:31.20\00:14:33.07 Ecclesiastes 12:7, 00:14:33.10\00:14:36.24 "Then the dust will return to the earth as it was. 00:14:36.27\00:14:40.14 And the spirit will return to God who gave it." 00:14:40.18\00:14:43.01 In both cases, the spirit here 00:14:43.04\00:14:44.51 is talking about simply the breath of life 00:14:44.58\00:14:47.05 that belongs to God, returns back to God, 00:14:47.08\00:14:49.78 not a separate entity, 00:14:49.82\00:14:51.55 not somebody in heaven praising the Lord 00:14:51.62\00:14:53.79 because Psalms 115:17 says, 00:14:53.82\00:14:56.29 "The dead do not praise the Lord, 00:14:56.32\00:14:58.49 neither any that go down into silence." 00:14:58.53\00:15:01.83 Amen. 00:15:01.86\00:15:03.20 Thank you. Thank you. 00:15:03.23\00:15:04.60 Jason Bradley, I was baptized at 13, 00:15:04.63\00:15:07.67 Donna says in a Baptist Church. 00:15:07.70\00:15:11.04 I'm in my 50s now 00:15:11.07\00:15:12.81 and I'm a Seventh-day Adventist. 00:15:12.84\00:15:14.34 Should I be baptized again? 00:15:14.41\00:15:17.68 Excellent question. 00:15:17.71\00:15:19.08 As Seventh-day Adventists, 00:15:19.11\00:15:20.75 we believe in baptism by immersion. 00:15:20.78\00:15:23.69 So as long as you are baptized by immersion, 00:15:23.72\00:15:26.55 then you don't necessarily need to be rebaptized. 00:15:26.59\00:15:29.72 However, that decision is up to you. 00:15:29.76\00:15:33.09 Now, there are some people 00:15:33.13\00:15:34.46 who come out of different denominations and they, 00:15:34.50\00:15:36.20 you know, they receive a new doctrine 00:15:36.23\00:15:39.37 and a new truth and all of that stuff. 00:15:39.40\00:15:41.47 And so they make the choice to get rebaptized. 00:15:41.54\00:15:46.54 But if you've been baptized by immersion, 00:15:46.57\00:15:49.58 you can become a member of the Adventist Church 00:15:49.61\00:15:52.28 by profession of faith. 00:15:52.31\00:15:54.32 Let's look at scripture to gain an understanding 00:15:54.35\00:15:57.59 of what baptism represents. 00:15:57.62\00:15:59.75 Romans 6:3-4, 00:15:59.79\00:16:02.66 "Or do you not know that as many of us 00:16:02.69\00:16:05.49 as were baptized into Christ Jesus 00:16:05.53\00:16:08.20 were baptized into His death? 00:16:08.23\00:16:10.30 Therefore, we were buried with Him 00:16:10.33\00:16:12.47 through baptism and to death 00:16:12.50\00:16:14.64 that just as Christ was raised from the dead, 00:16:14.67\00:16:17.64 by the glory of the Father, 00:16:17.71\00:16:19.67 even so we also should walk in newness of life." 00:16:19.71\00:16:24.38 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, 00:16:24.45\00:16:28.25 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, 00:16:28.32\00:16:31.29 he is a new creation. 00:16:31.32\00:16:33.39 Old things have passed away, 00:16:33.42\00:16:35.32 behold, all things have become new." 00:16:35.36\00:16:38.93 So when we get baptized, 00:16:38.96\00:16:40.90 we are making a public declaration 00:16:40.93\00:16:44.00 of our faith that we want to die to self 00:16:44.03\00:16:47.44 and live for Christ. 00:16:47.47\00:16:48.90 I was baptized at the age of 11, 00:16:48.94\00:16:51.37 but when I was 14, I ended up walking away. 00:16:51.41\00:16:54.54 I left Jesus. 00:16:54.58\00:16:56.44 I didn't want anything to do with spiritual things, 00:16:56.48\00:16:59.38 with any type of religion or anything like that. 00:16:59.41\00:17:02.72 I just wanted to do whatever it was that I felt like doing. 00:17:02.75\00:17:06.89 And we enter into a very dangerous place 00:17:06.92\00:17:09.49 when we go in that direction. 00:17:09.52\00:17:12.26 But after 14 years of self-inflicted trials 00:17:12.29\00:17:15.80 and embarrassing moments and pain, 00:17:15.83\00:17:17.67 I gave my heart back to the Lord. 00:17:17.73\00:17:20.57 And now I view baptism as a wedding ceremony. 00:17:20.60\00:17:24.01 So when you think about it, when two people get married, 00:17:24.04\00:17:26.71 they are no longer single 00:17:26.74\00:17:29.18 and living the single life, right? 00:17:29.21\00:17:30.85 So things have to change. 00:17:30.88\00:17:32.51 The two become one and they need 00:17:32.55\00:17:34.48 to be considerate of each other. 00:17:34.52\00:17:36.72 I chose to submit and commit my life back to Christ 00:17:36.75\00:17:40.12 and make that public declaration 00:17:40.16\00:17:42.02 by getting rebaptized. 00:17:42.06\00:17:43.96 So long story short, the choice is yours. 00:17:43.99\00:17:47.46 So if you want to get rebaptized, 00:17:47.50\00:17:49.63 I think that you should definitely go ahead 00:17:49.66\00:17:52.00 and take that step. 00:17:52.03\00:17:53.60 Amen. 00:17:53.64\00:17:54.97 All right. Praise God. 00:17:55.00\00:17:56.34 Beautiful. Shelley Quinn. 00:17:56.37\00:17:58.54 Can you please explain 00:17:58.57\00:18:00.81 the Rechabites' obedience in Jeremiah 35? 00:18:00.84\00:18:05.78 There's no name given here, 00:18:05.81\00:18:07.25 but we want to encourage you to give us your name 00:18:07.28\00:18:10.45 and where you are sending your question from. 00:18:10.49\00:18:13.12 It gives us an idea of places we're reaching. 00:18:13.15\00:18:15.62 So we thank you and Sister Shelley Quinn. 00:18:15.66\00:18:17.89 Yes. Okay. 00:18:17.93\00:18:19.26 Jeremiah 35:2. 00:18:19.29\00:18:21.33 This is such a fascinating story. 00:18:21.36\00:18:24.50 God told His prophet Jeremiah, 00:18:24.53\00:18:26.80 "Go to the house of the Rechabites, 00:18:26.84\00:18:28.47 speak to them, and bring them into the house of the Lord, 00:18:28.50\00:18:32.51 into one of the chambers," 00:18:32.54\00:18:34.61 this was the apartment for the priest or the prophet, 00:18:34.64\00:18:38.48 "and give them wine to drink." 00:18:38.51\00:18:42.05 What? 00:18:42.08\00:18:43.69 God's telling Jeremiah, 00:18:43.72\00:18:45.12 "Go tell the Rechabites to come into the temple apartment 00:18:45.15\00:18:49.89 and drink wine?" 00:18:49.92\00:18:52.39 You know what? 00:18:52.43\00:18:53.76 God knew they wouldn't. 00:18:53.80\00:18:55.83 God knew the heart of the Rechabites. 00:18:55.86\00:19:00.17 He was setting them up to use them 00:19:00.20\00:19:04.11 as examples of faithfulness. 00:19:04.14\00:19:07.08 Let me prove that from scripture. 00:19:07.11\00:19:09.74 Jeremiah 35:6, 00:19:09.78\00:19:12.88 he gets the Rechabites, bring them in. 00:19:12.91\00:19:15.35 And he tells him, 00:19:15.38\00:19:17.15 "God told me to tell you to drink wine." 00:19:17.19\00:19:19.59 And you know what they said? 00:19:19.62\00:19:20.96 Listen, Jeremiah 35:6, "But they said, 00:19:20.99\00:19:25.49 'We will drink no wine, 00:19:25.56\00:19:27.60 for our father commanded us, saying, 00:19:27.60\00:19:29.73 'You shall drink no wine, you nor your sons forever.'" 00:19:29.76\00:19:35.44 So what God knew was their heart, 00:19:35.47\00:19:38.51 that they had faithful hearts 00:19:38.54\00:19:40.14 that they were going to obey their father's rule. 00:19:40.18\00:19:43.98 And they were examples to the men of Judah 00:19:44.01\00:19:47.42 and Jerusalem who persistently refused 00:19:47.45\00:19:51.99 to obey God. 00:19:52.02\00:19:53.96 In Jeremiah 35:13. 00:19:53.99\00:19:56.73 Listen to what the Lord says, "Thus says the Lord of hosts, 00:19:56.76\00:20:00.86 the God of Israel: 00:20:00.90\00:20:02.26 'Go and tell the men of Judah 00:20:02.30\00:20:03.73 and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, 00:20:03.77\00:20:06.17 will you not receive instruction 00:20:06.20\00:20:09.27 to obey My words?' 00:20:09.30\00:20:11.11 says the Lord. 00:20:11.17\00:20:12.51 The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, 00:20:12.54\00:20:16.75 which he commanded his sons, 00:20:16.78\00:20:19.25 not to drink wine, are performed, 00:20:19.28\00:20:22.52 for to this day they drink none, 00:20:22.55\00:20:24.69 and obey their father's commandment. 00:20:24.75\00:20:27.09 But although I have spoken to you, 00:20:27.12\00:20:29.86 rising early and speaking, you did not obey Me." 00:20:29.89\00:20:33.43 Hmm. 00:20:33.46\00:20:34.76 Thank you. 00:20:34.83\00:20:36.16 Yes. Very good. 00:20:36.20\00:20:37.53 Pastor Lomacang, we come back to you with another hard one. 00:20:37.57\00:20:41.57 How would one clearly explain to a friend that the feasts, 00:20:41.60\00:20:46.81 which the Apostle John called feast of the Jews, 00:20:46.84\00:20:50.75 John 5:1 and 6:4 and 7:2. 00:20:50.78\00:20:55.58 And the Apostle Paul declared, 00:20:55.62\00:20:57.29 "As a shadow of things to come but the substance," 00:20:57.32\00:21:01.26 and puts in parenthesis, 00:21:01.29\00:21:03.63 "the faith of body is of Christ." 00:21:03.66\00:21:05.76 Colossians 2:17. 00:21:05.79\00:21:07.83 Have been fulfilled in Jesus, the Messiah, our living head. 00:21:07.86\00:21:11.43 In other words, how do you explain 00:21:11.50\00:21:13.74 that the feasts were fulfilled in Jesus? 00:21:13.77\00:21:16.67 Now, thank you for the homework, 00:21:16.71\00:21:18.04 you did more of the homework, okay. 00:21:18.07\00:21:19.81 You actually answered. 00:21:19.84\00:21:21.61 It was almost a rhetorical question 00:21:21.64\00:21:23.18 because he would give him the scripture reference for it. 00:21:23.21\00:21:25.08 Yes. 00:21:25.11\00:21:26.45 In fact, now the point you're making is, 00:21:26.48\00:21:28.88 let's look at past, present and future. 00:21:28.92\00:21:32.52 The Lord established ceremonies, 00:21:32.55\00:21:34.59 even feasts that were synonymous 00:21:34.62\00:21:37.66 to the characteristics and the ministry of Christ 00:21:37.69\00:21:42.23 in many particulars, even the sanctuary articles, 00:21:42.26\00:21:45.40 all of them in one particular or another pointed to Christ, 00:21:45.47\00:21:49.04 the laver, which is the water, Jesus water of life. 00:21:49.07\00:21:52.11 The showbread, the bread of life, Christ. 00:21:52.14\00:21:53.78 The candelabrum, Jesus, the light of the world. 00:21:53.81\00:21:56.41 And the altar of incense, 00:21:56.44\00:21:59.11 which is where the prayers of the saints arising 00:21:59.15\00:22:00.98 before the Father. 00:22:01.02\00:22:02.42 The Most Holy Place, 00:22:02.45\00:22:03.79 which is now talking about the place of Jesus, 00:22:03.82\00:22:05.75 His ministry right now. 00:22:05.79\00:22:07.89 And the altar of burnt offerings, 00:22:07.92\00:22:10.59 which is a symbol of the cross, where He was crucified. 00:22:10.63\00:22:13.23 But also there were ceremonies. 00:22:13.26\00:22:15.30 You had the Feast of Tabernacles, 00:22:15.33\00:22:18.17 which was a ceremony that was celebrated 00:22:18.20\00:22:19.87 after the Day of Atonement. 00:22:19.90\00:22:21.24 It was celebrated for seven days 00:22:21.27\00:22:23.04 after sin had been blotted out in the yearly Day 00:22:23.07\00:22:25.51 of Atonement services. 00:22:25.54\00:22:27.01 Well, Jesus, after He performed the sacrifice today, 00:22:27.04\00:22:32.15 we know that the, the forgiveness of sin 00:22:32.18\00:22:34.92 does not require the taking of the life of a lamb. 00:22:34.95\00:22:37.65 But in specifics, on the question you ask, 00:22:37.69\00:22:40.36 John 6:4, 00:22:40.39\00:22:41.76 just to pull out one of those three references. 00:22:41.79\00:22:45.13 Jesus writes now the Passover, a feast of the Jews was near. 00:22:45.16\00:22:50.20 Now this feast was celebrated up until Jesus, 00:22:50.23\00:22:54.37 who is the Passover Lamb was crucified. 00:22:54.40\00:22:59.07 And then Paul talked about not the perpetuity of it, 00:22:59.11\00:23:01.91 but the temporary nature of these, 00:23:01.94\00:23:04.11 these ceremonies and what they were pointing to. 00:23:04.15\00:23:06.98 1 Corinthians 5:7 brings the answer to the forefront. 00:23:07.02\00:23:10.79 "Therefore purge out the old leaven, 00:23:10.82\00:23:14.46 that you may be a new lump 00:23:14.49\00:23:17.46 since you truly are unleavened." 00:23:17.49\00:23:19.96 All sanctuary language, Shelley. 00:23:20.00\00:23:21.86 "For indeed Christ, 00:23:21.90\00:23:24.00 our Passover was sacrificed for us." 00:23:24.03\00:23:27.97 So when Christ was sacrificed and became that Passover Lamb, 00:23:28.00\00:23:32.31 that broken bread, that poured out wine, 00:23:32.34\00:23:35.04 the Passover was no longer necessary. 00:23:35.08\00:23:37.51 It was replaced with the communion service 00:23:37.55\00:23:40.92 to point to the coming of Jesus, 00:23:40.95\00:23:42.85 not deliverance from Egypt. 00:23:42.88\00:23:45.25 Thank you so much, Before we continue, 00:23:45.29\00:23:47.52 we want to give you again the opportunity 00:23:47.56\00:23:49.32 to write down the information in case 00:23:49.36\00:23:51.13 you missed it the first time around. 00:23:51.16\00:23:53.40 Hopefully you have a pen or something to write with, 00:23:53.43\00:23:56.53 if not, take a picture of the screen, 00:23:56.56\00:23:58.90 because there you will find the information 00:23:58.93\00:24:00.80 that we're about to share. 00:24:00.84\00:24:02.40 And those of you listening by radio, 00:24:02.44\00:24:03.81 listen very carefully. 00:24:03.84\00:24:05.47 We're going to give you a phone number 00:24:05.51\00:24:06.84 whereby you can send your text with your question. 00:24:06.88\00:24:08.98 And that number is (618) 228-3975. 00:24:09.04\00:24:13.88 (618) 228-3975, 00:24:13.92\00:24:17.02 one more time, (618) 228-3975. 00:24:17.05\00:24:21.62 You can also email, 00:24:21.66\00:24:23.09 email is BibleQA@3abn.tv 00:24:23.12\00:24:27.50 BibleQA@3abn.tv 00:24:27.56\00:24:30.97 And just before you finish, we'll say it again, 00:24:31.00\00:24:33.94 BibleQA@3abn.tv 00:24:33.97\00:24:37.01 Excellent, we're almost halfway. 00:24:37.04\00:24:39.57 So let's go to Jason Bradley. 00:24:39.61\00:24:41.61 We have a question for you. 00:24:41.64\00:24:43.14 And this question is, 00:24:43.18\00:24:44.51 what does the phrase of this world really mean? 00:24:44.55\00:24:48.95 What activities, what places, what thoughts, et cetera, 00:24:48.98\00:24:52.52 what does it really mean to be of this world? 00:24:52.55\00:24:55.69 This is from Cheryl in Southern Illinois. 00:24:55.72\00:24:57.76 Oh, loving, 00:24:57.79\00:24:59.13 that's in our backyard right here. 00:24:59.16\00:25:01.06 Cheryl, let's begin by looking at 1 John 2:15-17, 00:25:01.10\00:25:07.14 "Do not love the world or the things in the world. 00:25:07.17\00:25:10.11 If anyone loves the world, 00:25:10.14\00:25:11.74 the love of the Father is not in him. 00:25:11.77\00:25:14.38 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, 00:25:14.41\00:25:17.68 the lust of the eyes, 00:25:17.71\00:25:19.08 and the pride of life is not of the Father 00:25:19.11\00:25:22.25 but is of the world. 00:25:22.28\00:25:24.32 And the world is passing away and the lust of it, 00:25:24.35\00:25:27.09 but he who does the will of God abides forever." 00:25:27.12\00:25:30.73 So the world is full of snares 00:25:30.76\00:25:32.63 that have been set up by the enemy 00:25:32.66\00:25:34.03 to make us take our eyes off of Jesus 00:25:34.10\00:25:36.30 and to trip us up and to get us to, 00:25:36.33\00:25:38.47 to fall and stumble, but we can't give in. 00:25:38.50\00:25:41.30 When we stand firm on the principles 00:25:41.34\00:25:42.90 that are found in the Word of God, 00:25:42.94\00:25:45.11 we can expect to face some hatred. 00:25:45.14\00:25:46.94 So if you look at John 15:18-19, 00:25:46.98\00:25:51.11 the Word of God says this. 00:25:51.15\00:25:52.85 "If the world hates you, 00:25:52.88\00:25:55.02 you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 00:25:55.05\00:25:58.59 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. 00:25:58.62\00:26:02.59 Yet because you are not of the world, 00:26:02.62\00:26:04.76 but I chose you out of the world, 00:26:04.79\00:26:07.00 therefore the world hates you." 00:26:07.03\00:26:08.83 And when people have grown comfortable in a life of sin, 00:26:08.90\00:26:12.60 they don't typically want to hear 00:26:12.63\00:26:14.64 about gaining the victory. 00:26:14.67\00:26:16.54 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 says, 00:26:16.57\00:26:20.04 "Do you not know that the unrighteous 00:26:20.08\00:26:22.78 will not inherit the kingdom of God? 00:26:22.81\00:26:25.15 Do not be deceived. 00:26:25.18\00:26:26.82 Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, 00:26:26.85\00:26:29.65 nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, 00:26:29.68\00:26:32.19 nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, 00:26:32.22\00:26:35.56 nor drunkards, nor revilers, 00:26:35.59\00:26:37.69 nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 00:26:37.73\00:26:41.23 And such were some of you. 00:26:41.26\00:26:43.77 But you were washed, but you were sanctified, 00:26:43.80\00:26:46.47 but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus 00:26:46.50\00:26:49.94 and by the Spirit of our God." 00:26:49.97\00:26:52.74 The thoughts, actions, 00:26:52.77\00:26:54.28 and activities that are of the world 00:26:54.31\00:26:56.81 are the things that go against the principles 00:26:56.85\00:26:59.58 that are found in God's Word. 00:26:59.61\00:27:01.38 And they lead us 00:27:01.42\00:27:02.82 in the opposite direction of God. 00:27:02.85\00:27:05.19 Hmm. Thank you. 00:27:05.22\00:27:06.55 Very good. 00:27:06.59\00:27:07.92 Well, Shelley Quinn, are you ready? 00:27:07.96\00:27:09.96 Not for this one. 00:27:09.99\00:27:11.33 Well, you're going to have about three minutes 00:27:14.20\00:27:15.76 for this one, so let's see what, 00:27:15.80\00:27:18.00 how the Lord leads you on this one. 00:27:18.03\00:27:19.57 Is Jesus the Son of God or is He God the Father? 00:27:19.60\00:27:23.04 Can you explain, please Hebrews 1:1-6 00:27:23.07\00:27:28.84 for me and or Luke 1:1-4. 00:27:28.88\00:27:33.38 So who is Jesus really? 00:27:33.42\00:27:35.38 This is from Alex from Barrouallie, 00:27:35.42\00:27:39.42 St. Vincent and the Grenadines. 00:27:39.45\00:27:41.49 Oh, boy. 00:27:41.52\00:27:42.86 Wow. 00:27:42.89\00:27:44.23 I have an hour long sermon that I just did at camp meeting 00:27:44.26\00:27:46.33 called Covenant Son and Surety. 00:27:46.36\00:27:49.46 S-U-R-E-T-Y, put that in with my name 00:27:49.50\00:27:52.63 and it's on 3ABN Plus. 00:27:52.67\00:27:54.64 I couldn't explain it in an hour. 00:27:54.67\00:27:56.71 Okay. 00:27:56.74\00:27:58.07 God, the Father Son and Holy Spirit 00:27:58.11\00:28:02.54 are co equal. 00:28:02.58\00:28:04.68 There's three persons in the Godhead, 00:28:04.71\00:28:07.05 but Isaiah 9:6, prophesying about Jesus said, 00:28:07.08\00:28:10.65 "Unto us a Child is given, unto us a Son is born. 00:28:10.69\00:28:16.02 And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, 00:28:16.06\00:28:19.39 Mighty God, Everlasting Father, 00:28:19.43\00:28:24.90 and Prince of Peace." 00:28:24.93\00:28:26.60 John 1:1-3 says, "In the beginning was the Word, 00:28:26.63\00:28:29.90 the Word was with God, the Word was God. 00:28:29.94\00:28:32.64 And all three, all things were created through Him." 00:28:32.67\00:28:36.44 So Jesus is God. 00:28:36.48\00:28:39.01 He is mighty God, the everlasting Father. 00:28:39.08\00:28:42.15 And in John 1:14 says, "He became flesh." 00:28:42.18\00:28:46.82 In Philippians 2:5-8, 00:28:46.86\00:28:48.49 it talks about the eternal God coming down, 00:28:48.52\00:28:51.66 taking on our flesh 00:28:51.69\00:28:54.76 and becoming the covenant Son of God. 00:28:54.83\00:28:57.63 Listen to Hebrews 1:5. 00:28:57.67\00:28:59.90 God says, "You are my son today. 00:28:59.93\00:29:06.04 I have begotten you." 00:29:06.07\00:29:07.94 And again, it continues on saying, 00:29:07.98\00:29:11.45 this is God's words. 00:29:11.48\00:29:12.81 I will be. 00:29:12.85\00:29:14.18 This is future tense in the Greek. 00:29:14.22\00:29:15.98 I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be, 00:29:16.05\00:29:20.06 future tense, to me a Son. 00:29:20.09\00:29:22.69 So just as God compared His relationship with Israel 00:29:22.72\00:29:28.26 and others as a Father and Son, 00:29:28.30\00:29:31.37 He's describing His relationship to the person 00:29:31.40\00:29:36.04 of Jesus Christ as a Father and Son. 00:29:36.07\00:29:40.31 Son is a covenant term. 00:29:40.34\00:29:43.08 When it says son of God, 00:29:43.11\00:29:45.18 this means He is heir of the promises. 00:29:45.25\00:29:49.85 And begotten is a covenant term, 00:29:49.88\00:29:52.95 which means chosen. 00:29:52.99\00:29:54.56 So let's look at Hebrews 1:8. 00:29:54.59\00:29:58.06 Here God is saying, today, I'd begotten you. 00:29:58.09\00:30:01.96 Today I will become your father, 00:30:02.00\00:30:05.33 you shall become my son. 00:30:05.37\00:30:08.00 But to the son, Hebrews 1:8, this is the father speaking now 00:30:08.04\00:30:12.47 to the person of Jesus Christ, 00:30:12.51\00:30:14.81 who is the covenant son God's... 00:30:14.84\00:30:18.71 The father says, speaking to Jesus, 00:30:18.75\00:30:21.48 "Your throne, O God, is forever." 00:30:21.52\00:30:24.69 And in Hebrews 1:10, 00:30:24.72\00:30:26.09 it quotes the Father as saying to the Son, 00:30:26.12\00:30:28.82 "You Lord, in the beginning laid the foundations 00:30:28.86\00:30:31.36 of the earth and the heavens are the works of Your hands." 00:30:31.39\00:30:34.66 So the Father Himself declares that the Son is God. 00:30:34.73\00:30:38.70 Let me tell you this. 00:30:38.73\00:30:40.07 While Jesus was eternally the Son of God in anticipation 00:30:40.10\00:30:45.84 of His incarnation, He did not get installed 00:30:45.87\00:30:49.84 into the office as covenant Son of God, 00:30:49.88\00:30:53.25 until He was incarnated and took on a submissive role 00:30:53.28\00:30:57.39 to the Father, just as He was the lamb 00:30:57.42\00:31:00.79 who was slain 00:31:00.82\00:31:02.16 from the foundation of the world. 00:31:02.19\00:31:03.59 But He didn't become the lamb until He died. 00:31:03.63\00:31:07.03 You got really deep in three minutes. 00:31:07.10\00:31:09.03 Wow. Praise the Lord. 00:31:09.06\00:31:10.40 Thank you. 00:31:10.43\00:31:11.77 But that's a deep topic. 00:31:11.80\00:31:13.13 Yes, it is. It is. 00:31:13.17\00:31:14.50 I'm glad you mentioned its reference. 00:31:14.54\00:31:15.87 What was the sermon title again? 00:31:15.90\00:31:17.24 The sermon title is Covenant, Son, and Surety. 00:31:17.27\00:31:20.64 S-U-R-E-T-Y. 00:31:20.68\00:31:23.24 And you have to put my name in Shelley Quinn 00:31:23.28\00:31:25.88 and it'll take you to 3ABN Plus 00:31:25.91\00:31:28.12 where all of our camp meetings sermons are on 3ABN Plus. 00:31:28.15\00:31:32.65 We just did 12 beautiful sermons 00:31:32.72\00:31:36.39 to answer who is Jesus. 00:31:36.42\00:31:38.13 Very good. 00:31:38.16\00:31:39.49 Excellent. Thank you very much. 00:31:39.53\00:31:40.86 Pastor Lomacang. 00:31:40.90\00:31:42.30 Why does the Bible say to pray 00:31:42.33\00:31:45.27 His coming not be on Sabbath or in winter? 00:31:45.30\00:31:49.70 Well, this prophecy in Matthew 24. 00:31:49.74\00:31:52.01 Matthew 24 is not a book of duel prophecies, 00:31:52.04\00:31:55.48 but dual applications. 00:31:55.51\00:31:57.61 The prophecy that was made 00:31:57.65\00:32:00.98 was specifically talking about the destruction of Jerusalem. 00:32:01.02\00:32:03.79 There was such pride 00:32:03.82\00:32:05.15 in the building of their temple, 00:32:05.19\00:32:06.52 but those who built the temple 00:32:06.55\00:32:07.89 did not accept the temple of Christ Jesus. 00:32:07.92\00:32:09.86 They did not accept the Lamb of God. 00:32:09.89\00:32:12.09 They rejected the Son of God. 00:32:12.16\00:32:13.80 And He made a statement earlier in Matthew 24, He said, 00:32:13.83\00:32:17.20 "See these stones, the day is coming 00:32:17.23\00:32:20.40 that not one stone will be left upon another 00:32:20.44\00:32:23.81 that will not be thrown down." 00:32:23.84\00:32:26.04 And they said, 00:32:26.11\00:32:27.44 "You know how long it took us to build this thing?" 00:32:27.48\00:32:29.31 Forty years, and he said, "Destroy the temple, 00:32:29.38\00:32:32.88 and in three days I will raise it up again." 00:32:32.91\00:32:34.95 They had no clue how's He going to do that? 00:32:34.98\00:32:37.52 Destroy this and in three days rebuild it. 00:32:37.55\00:32:39.92 Well, that was a forecast or a prognostication 00:32:39.95\00:32:42.89 of His death, burial and resurrection, 00:32:42.92\00:32:45.93 the holy temple, the Christ temple. 00:32:45.96\00:32:49.16 But then, because they rejected Jesus. 00:32:49.20\00:32:52.23 He said, now there's a destruction coming. 00:32:52.27\00:32:55.00 And Matthew 24:20, 00:32:55.04\00:32:56.84 I want to bring out a part of it that you may miss. 00:32:56.87\00:32:59.17 This is confirmation that Jesus never intended 00:32:59.21\00:33:02.81 to destroy the Sabbath. 00:33:02.88\00:33:04.21 Amen. 00:33:04.25\00:33:05.58 Because if He did, He wouldn't say 00:33:05.61\00:33:06.95 this prophecy was given in 31AD, 00:33:06.98\00:33:09.35 the temple was destroyed 39 years later in 70AD. 00:33:09.42\00:33:14.22 He was simply saying, pray when it comes 00:33:14.26\00:33:17.03 that the Roman army know 00:33:17.06\00:33:18.53 you're going to be in the synagogues 00:33:18.56\00:33:20.16 on the Sabbath. 00:33:20.20\00:33:21.50 That's going to be an obvious place to find you. 00:33:21.53\00:33:23.37 Pray that when the destruction comes, 00:33:23.40\00:33:25.37 it doesn't come on the Sabbath nor in the cold, 00:33:25.43\00:33:29.04 harsh months of the winter. 00:33:29.10\00:33:31.21 That's all He's simply saying. 00:33:31.24\00:33:33.04 But outside of that, 00:33:33.07\00:33:34.41 He's not saying anything other than make sure 00:33:34.44\00:33:36.24 that when destruction comes and today, 00:33:36.28\00:33:38.48 if you live in a cold climate 00:33:38.51\00:33:39.85 and you're worshiping on the Sabbath, 00:33:39.88\00:33:41.35 if destruction and the future comes, 00:33:41.38\00:33:43.35 pray that it doesn't happen at a time of the year 00:33:43.39\00:33:45.99 where fleeing for your life is going to be something 00:33:46.05\00:33:48.19 that's damaging to your health. 00:33:48.22\00:33:50.79 That's all that Christ was saying in Matthew 24:20, 00:33:50.83\00:33:53.60 the destruction of Jerusalem. 00:33:53.63\00:33:54.93 Amen. 00:33:54.96\00:33:56.30 Thank you. 00:33:56.33\00:33:57.67 Well Jason Bradley, we have another one for you. 00:33:57.70\00:34:00.77 Should you be baptized as a baby, a teenager or older? 00:34:00.80\00:34:06.27 Does it matter? 00:34:06.31\00:34:07.64 Also, can Jesus save you 00:34:07.68\00:34:09.24 if you're not baptized by a man? 00:34:09.28\00:34:11.65 Hmm. 00:34:11.68\00:34:13.01 I'm not sure if they mean just by a man or in any, 00:34:13.05\00:34:16.52 in any category that would be. 00:34:16.55\00:34:18.45 Well, we'll give it a go in two minutes. 00:34:18.49\00:34:20.46 We'll give it a go. 00:34:20.49\00:34:21.92 No, you should not be baptized as a baby 00:34:21.96\00:34:24.93 because you can't make sound decisions. 00:34:24.96\00:34:27.20 You can't make a choice as a baby to follow Christ. 00:34:27.23\00:34:30.40 You can't decide what, what to wear, where to go, 00:34:30.43\00:34:34.00 what to eat, when to go, what to do, 00:34:34.04\00:34:36.40 any of that stuff as a baby. 00:34:36.44\00:34:38.51 So a person should get baptized 00:34:38.54\00:34:40.88 when they have a firm understanding of the decision 00:34:40.91\00:34:43.88 that they are making at whatever age that is. 00:34:43.91\00:34:46.82 But when we get baptized, what we're doing 00:34:46.85\00:34:49.45 is we're making a public declaration 00:34:49.48\00:34:51.59 of our faith that we want to die to self 00:34:51.62\00:34:54.22 and live for Christ. 00:34:54.26\00:34:55.59 Now, in regards to the third part 00:34:55.62\00:34:57.49 of your question, 00:34:57.53\00:34:58.86 consider Luke 23:39-43. 00:34:58.89\00:35:04.77 "Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, 00:35:04.80\00:35:09.70 saying, 'If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.' 00:35:09.77\00:35:14.31 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, 00:35:14.34\00:35:17.41 'Do you not even fear God, 00:35:17.45\00:35:19.08 seeing you are under the same condemnation? 00:35:19.11\00:35:22.28 And we indeed justly, 00:35:22.35\00:35:24.22 for we receive the due reward of our deeds, 00:35:24.25\00:35:27.72 but this Man has done nothing wrong.' 00:35:27.76\00:35:30.16 Then he said to Jesus, 'Lord, remember me 00:35:30.19\00:35:32.56 when You come into Your kingdom.' 00:35:32.59\00:35:34.60 And Jesus said to him, 'Assuredly, I say to you, 00:35:34.63\00:35:37.37 today you will be with Me in Paradise.'" 00:35:37.40\00:35:40.17 The thief on the cross wasn't baptized, 00:35:40.20\00:35:43.20 but he will be saved. 00:35:43.24\00:35:45.14 But with that being said, if you have the opportunity 00:35:45.17\00:35:49.91 to get baptized, you need to do it. 00:35:49.94\00:35:53.78 Take advantage of, go get baptized, 00:35:53.82\00:35:56.22 repent, and be baptized. 00:35:56.25\00:35:58.22 If you have that opportunity, make that happen. 00:35:58.25\00:36:00.62 The thief on the cross made a public declaration 00:36:00.66\00:36:03.29 for Christ, but he wasn't baptized. 00:36:03.32\00:36:06.09 Hmm. 00:36:06.16\00:36:07.50 Thank you very much. 00:36:07.50\00:36:08.83 Very good. 00:36:08.86\00:36:10.20 Well, now we have a question about eternal fire. 00:36:10.23\00:36:11.90 Shelley, are you ready? 00:36:11.93\00:36:13.80 If eternal fire or everlasting fire 00:36:13.84\00:36:17.14 is not really forever, 00:36:17.17\00:36:19.81 how do we know eternal or everlasting life is forever? 00:36:19.84\00:36:24.68 That's simple. 00:36:24.71\00:36:26.05 I studied this out 20 years ago and it was life-changing. 00:36:26.08\00:36:29.32 In the Greek the word 00:36:29.35\00:36:30.69 for eternal or everlasting is aionios. 00:36:30.72\00:36:33.89 And it is a relative term. 00:36:33.92\00:36:36.16 It is determined by what it is defining, 00:36:36.19\00:36:40.63 the object it modifies. 00:36:40.66\00:36:42.40 When discussing if eternal or everlasting 00:36:42.46\00:36:46.23 is attached to God, because God is infinite, 00:36:46.27\00:36:50.21 eternal, and everlasting means infinite existence. 00:36:50.24\00:36:55.34 So, you know, the Bible says that right now 00:36:55.38\00:36:58.38 in 1 Timothy 6:16, that God alone has immortality. 00:36:58.41\00:37:02.35 In 1 Corinthians 15:51-54 says, 00:37:02.38\00:37:06.49 "We put on immortality at the last trumpet." 00:37:06.52\00:37:10.56 In John 3:16, 00:37:10.59\00:37:13.03 when Christ promised eternal life, 00:37:13.06\00:37:15.53 He said, "For God so loved the world, 00:37:15.56\00:37:18.17 He gave His only begotten Son 00:37:18.20\00:37:20.14 that whosoever would believe in Him 00:37:20.17\00:37:22.17 would not perish, but have everlasting life." 00:37:22.20\00:37:26.51 There are two totally opposite things. 00:37:26.57\00:37:30.88 Anyone that comes to Christ receives the promise. 00:37:30.91\00:37:35.05 You're going to put on immortality. 00:37:35.08\00:37:37.22 God will give you the gift of eternal, 00:37:37.25\00:37:41.19 everlasting, existing life. 00:37:41.22\00:37:43.36 When you're raised up, the others will perish, 00:37:43.39\00:37:46.13 they're going to be kaput. 00:37:46.19\00:37:47.66 Now eternal everlasting, when that word aionios 00:37:47.73\00:37:52.53 is used in relationship to mortal, 00:37:52.60\00:37:56.07 humanity or to perishable things, 00:37:56.10\00:37:59.67 it just means as long as the person or thing exists, 00:37:59.74\00:38:04.88 it has eternal, everlasting results. 00:38:04.91\00:38:08.02 For example, eternal redemption, 00:38:08.05\00:38:10.15 Hebrews 9:12. 00:38:10.19\00:38:11.52 That's not an endless process, but the results are eternal. 00:38:11.55\00:38:14.59 Eternal judgment, Hebrews 6:2, not an endless process, 00:38:14.62\00:38:19.13 but the results are eternal. 00:38:19.19\00:38:21.40 Jude 1:7 says that Sodom and Gomorrah are set forth 00:38:21.43\00:38:26.10 as an example of the vengeance of eternal fire. 00:38:26.13\00:38:29.97 They're not still on fire today, 00:38:30.01\00:38:32.11 but they, the fire completed its work 00:38:32.14\00:38:35.81 and the results are everlasting. 00:38:35.84\00:38:39.48 Excellent. Wow. 00:38:39.51\00:38:40.85 Wow. 00:38:40.88\00:38:42.22 I know you could say more about that, 00:38:42.25\00:38:43.59 but time escapes us 00:38:43.62\00:38:45.35 so we can move on to the next question. 00:38:45.39\00:38:47.46 We'll come back to Pastor Lomacang. 00:38:47.49\00:38:49.59 Did God create the dinosaurs, Pastor Lomacang? 00:38:49.62\00:38:54.56 That is a question that has come up 00:38:54.60\00:38:56.20 from time to time. 00:38:56.23\00:38:57.70 I'm going to give you two answers directly. 00:38:57.73\00:38:59.77 One is God didn't create dinosaurs. 00:38:59.80\00:39:04.11 Everything that God created was on the ark. 00:39:04.14\00:39:08.94 All the animals 00:39:08.98\00:39:10.31 that God created was on the ark. 00:39:10.35\00:39:12.41 Now, when you look at what happened, 00:39:12.48\00:39:14.98 these massive creatures that were found, 00:39:15.02\00:39:17.55 notice where they were found, 00:39:17.59\00:39:18.95 and in America, a lot of the discoveries 00:39:18.99\00:39:21.39 where you find dinosaur bones, or when you find places like 00:39:21.42\00:39:24.99 they find them closer to mountains, 00:39:25.03\00:39:26.96 closer to places like the Grand Canyon. 00:39:27.00\00:39:30.43 And what it suggested is that when the waters 00:39:30.47\00:39:33.27 of the flood began to rise, these massive creatures 00:39:33.30\00:39:37.24 sought for higher ground to survive. 00:39:37.27\00:39:39.81 Another question I would ask myself 00:39:39.84\00:39:41.18 is why were they not on the ark? 00:39:41.21\00:39:43.41 Well, the apparent understanding to me 00:39:43.45\00:39:45.38 is as I looked up something called amalgamation, 00:39:45.41\00:39:48.68 which was the combination, 00:39:48.72\00:39:50.62 animals, the intelligence of the beings, 00:39:50.65\00:39:53.29 or the men that existed in combined species together 00:39:53.32\00:39:57.09 and out of these came amalgamations of large animals, 00:39:57.13\00:40:00.06 massive animals, 00:40:00.10\00:40:01.63 that if they were to enter the ark 00:40:01.66\00:40:04.27 and make it to the other side of the flood, 00:40:04.30\00:40:06.57 God knowing that the lifespan 00:40:06.63\00:40:09.50 and the size of humanity would decrease, 00:40:09.54\00:40:12.67 would be too massive for men to even possibly controlled. 00:40:12.71\00:40:16.54 That's why these animals were destroyed in the flood, 00:40:16.58\00:40:19.51 found under many sedimentary layers 00:40:19.55\00:40:23.08 far down unearth in the ground. 00:40:23.12\00:40:27.26 But here's a passage 00:40:27.29\00:40:28.62 that I find is encouraging to me 00:40:28.66\00:40:31.19 about the fact that God didn't create 00:40:31.23\00:40:33.19 these massive creatures with arms 00:40:33.23\00:40:35.43 too short to reach and, you know, 00:40:35.46\00:40:37.70 mouths that were just purpose 00:40:37.73\00:40:39.80 for the purpose of devouring humanity. 00:40:39.83\00:40:43.07 Romans 1:23-25, 00:40:43.10\00:40:45.07 and look this up because in the time we have, 00:40:45.11\00:40:47.24 it's not possible to cover this all, 00:40:47.28\00:40:48.61 but look up the terminology, amalgamation, amalgamation, 00:40:48.64\00:40:52.88 but notice what Romans 1:23-25 suggests. 00:40:52.91\00:40:56.38 It says, speaking of the Antediluvian world 00:40:56.45\00:40:59.55 and change the glory of God, 00:40:59.62\00:41:02.09 the glory of the incorruptible God 00:41:02.12\00:41:04.29 into an image made like corruptible man 00:41:04.33\00:41:07.03 and birds and four footed animals 00:41:07.10\00:41:09.00 and creeping things. 00:41:09.03\00:41:10.37 Therefore God gave them up to the uncleanness and the lust 00:41:10.40\00:41:13.30 of their own hearts to dishonor their bodies among themselves. 00:41:13.34\00:41:16.84 Now, when you read about that, when you study amalgamation, 00:41:16.87\00:41:19.74 it is also suggested that the men of that day 00:41:19.77\00:41:22.64 intermingle the seeds of men with the seeds of animals, 00:41:22.71\00:41:26.78 but the animals that God created, 00:41:26.82\00:41:29.45 all of them made it on to the ark 00:41:29.48\00:41:32.52 to continue to exist on the other side of the flood, 00:41:32.55\00:41:35.49 and I don't believe that dinosaurs 00:41:35.52\00:41:36.86 were a part of that. 00:41:36.89\00:41:38.23 Thank you. 00:41:38.26\00:41:39.59 Quite a bit to cover in two minutes. 00:41:39.66\00:41:41.83 That was a question from Yvette, from Texas. 00:41:41.86\00:41:44.60 Jason Bradley, question is, is it possible for someone 00:41:44.63\00:41:50.11 with dementia to be saved? 00:41:50.14\00:41:52.04 Hmm, that reminds me of a question that I received 00:41:52.07\00:41:54.94 before dealing with people that are handicapped. 00:41:54.98\00:41:58.38 So some have what others don't have. 00:41:58.41\00:42:01.32 And the question is, does God know that? 00:42:01.35\00:42:04.09 The answer is yes. 00:42:04.12\00:42:05.59 So will some be judged for what they don't have 00:42:05.62\00:42:08.76 or will they be judged for what they can, cannot do? 00:42:08.79\00:42:12.13 2 Corinthians 8:12 says, 00:42:12.16\00:42:14.93 "For if there is first a willing mind, 00:42:14.93\00:42:17.90 it is accepted according 00:42:17.93\00:42:20.34 to what one has and not according 00:42:20.37\00:42:22.67 to what he does not have." 00:42:22.74\00:42:24.87 The key is, they are willing. 00:42:24.91\00:42:27.14 So the spirit indeed is willing, 00:42:27.18\00:42:29.58 but what's lacking? 00:42:29.61\00:42:30.95 The flesh is weak. 00:42:30.98\00:42:32.31 So Mark 14:38 says, "Watch and pray, 00:42:32.35\00:42:36.12 lest you enter into temptation. 00:42:36.15\00:42:38.52 The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." 00:42:38.55\00:42:42.19 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "And He said to me, 00:42:42.22\00:42:46.56 'My grace is sufficient for you, 00:42:46.63\00:42:48.76 for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' 00:42:48.80\00:42:51.37 Therefore most gladly 00:42:51.40\00:42:52.93 I will rather boast in my infirmities, 00:42:52.97\00:42:56.04 that the power of Christ may rest upon me.'" 00:42:56.10\00:42:59.17 Why is His strength made perfect 00:42:59.21\00:43:01.58 in our weakness? 00:43:01.61\00:43:03.65 Hebrews 4:15 says, 00:43:03.68\00:43:05.85 "For, we do not have a high priest 00:43:05.88\00:43:07.88 who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, 00:43:07.92\00:43:10.99 but was in all points tempted as we are yet without sin." 00:43:11.02\00:43:15.16 Isaiah 1:19 says, 00:43:15.19\00:43:17.93 "If you are willing and obedient, 00:43:17.96\00:43:20.76 you shall eat the good of the land." 00:43:20.80\00:43:23.77 It all comes back to the point of willingness. 00:43:23.80\00:43:26.87 Those with dementia, 00:43:26.90\00:43:28.24 as long as they have a willing heart, 00:43:28.27\00:43:30.94 the Lord will make up the difference. 00:43:30.97\00:43:33.21 In their willingness, if they are obedient, 00:43:33.27\00:43:35.98 they will benefit from the promise 00:43:36.04\00:43:37.91 that the Lord has made. 00:43:37.95\00:43:40.12 The Lord is not looking to those 00:43:40.15\00:43:41.62 who are just, 00:43:41.65\00:43:42.98 who are just able, but He treasures those 00:43:43.02\00:43:45.89 who without full abilities are willing. 00:43:45.95\00:43:50.13 God wants to spend eternity with us. 00:43:50.16\00:43:51.99 So He's going to do everything in His power 00:43:52.03\00:43:54.03 to make that happen. 00:43:54.10\00:43:55.40 Amen. Thank you. 00:43:55.43\00:43:56.77 Thank you. 00:43:56.83\00:43:58.17 We have another question for Shelley. 00:43:58.20\00:43:59.53 And this one is, 00:43:59.57\00:44:00.97 why are we called Christians if Jesus was a Jew? 00:44:01.00\00:44:05.31 Hmm. Interesting. 00:44:05.34\00:44:06.78 In His humanity as an incarnated Savior, 00:44:06.81\00:44:11.81 the genealogy of Jesus is definitely Jewish. 00:44:11.85\00:44:14.88 He came from a Jewish descent and the term Jew refers 00:44:14.92\00:44:19.75 to Judah or the tribe of Judea. 00:44:19.79\00:44:23.53 Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well, John 4:22, 00:44:23.56\00:44:27.30 you worship what you do not know. 00:44:27.36\00:44:29.16 We worship what, we know what we worship 00:44:29.20\00:44:32.57 for salvation is of the Jews. 00:44:32.60\00:44:36.47 The nation of Israel's here referred to as Jews 00:44:36.50\00:44:39.44 because, but they had the full revelation 00:44:39.47\00:44:42.91 of God's plan of salvation. 00:44:42.94\00:44:44.88 Salvation was to come through them 00:44:44.91\00:44:46.88 to all the world, 00:44:46.92\00:44:48.35 all the old covenant rituals and ceremonies 00:44:48.38\00:44:51.65 pointed to Jesus, 00:44:51.69\00:44:53.76 who was the promised seed of the everlasting covenant. 00:44:53.79\00:44:57.93 Galatians 3:16 says 00:44:57.96\00:45:00.86 that "The promises of the everlasting covenant 00:45:00.90\00:45:03.97 were made to our father Abraham and to his seed, Jesus Christ." 00:45:04.00\00:45:09.17 Galatians 3:29 says, 00:45:09.20\00:45:11.31 "If you're Christ, you are Abraham's seed 00:45:11.34\00:45:13.71 and heirs according to the promise." 00:45:13.74\00:45:16.21 Romans 9:6-8, Paul says, 00:45:16.24\00:45:20.12 "They are not all Israel who are of Israel." 00:45:20.18\00:45:23.49 So he saying, 00:45:23.55\00:45:24.89 they're not all spiritual Israel. 00:45:24.92\00:45:26.65 And that's an, a spiritual name 00:45:26.72\00:45:28.62 who are of Jewish biological descent, 00:45:28.66\00:45:32.33 but physical lineage isn't the issue. 00:45:32.36\00:45:35.43 He said, not the children of the flesh, 00:45:35.46\00:45:37.90 but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. 00:45:37.93\00:45:41.84 So while the Christian movement 00:45:41.87\00:45:45.34 of the new covenant is distinct 00:45:45.37\00:45:49.31 from the old covenant of Judaism, 00:45:49.38\00:45:53.45 it did not break the everlasting covenant. 00:45:53.48\00:45:57.25 In Luke 1:54-55, Mary is singing her song 00:45:57.29\00:46:01.59 and she said, oh, He's helped His servant Israel. 00:46:01.62\00:46:04.73 In remembrance of His mercy, 00:46:04.76\00:46:06.19 He spoke to our fathers to Abraham and to his seed. 00:46:06.26\00:46:10.40 So the blessings came upon the Gentiles 00:46:10.43\00:46:12.87 through Jesus Christ and they were first called 00:46:12.90\00:46:15.80 Christians in Antioch in Acts 11:26. 00:46:15.84\00:46:19.71 And you know, the word Christian 00:46:19.74\00:46:21.08 is only used three times in the Bible. 00:46:21.11\00:46:23.28 Acts 11:26, 26:28, 00:46:23.31\00:46:27.55 1 Peter 4:16, but Christ means the Messiah. 00:46:27.58\00:46:31.82 We were waiting for our Messiah or Christians. 00:46:31.85\00:46:35.09 Thank you. Thank you. 00:46:35.12\00:46:36.46 Well, good news. 00:46:36.49\00:46:37.83 We have time for probably another question 00:46:37.86\00:46:40.83 before we take our break. 00:46:40.86\00:46:42.76 And this one is, may take a little time. 00:46:42.80\00:46:47.27 How can we approach or deal with demon possession 00:46:47.30\00:46:51.17 of loved ones or friends or demonic activities 00:46:51.21\00:46:54.81 in possessed houses or workplaces? 00:46:54.84\00:46:57.58 What do you do if it is in your life? 00:46:57.61\00:47:00.62 Just prayer. 00:47:00.65\00:47:02.22 Just want to be clear on the Bible stands. 00:47:02.25\00:47:04.65 This question is from Sherry. 00:47:04.69\00:47:06.59 Can I start on that one? 00:47:06.62\00:47:08.19 Because I probably won't be able 00:47:08.22\00:47:09.76 to answer everything, 00:47:09.79\00:47:11.49 but something that's interesting 00:47:11.53\00:47:13.33 in 2 Corinthians Chapter 6, 00:47:13.36\00:47:17.23 the Bible says in verse 14, 00:47:17.27\00:47:21.90 "What communion has light with darkness?" 00:47:21.94\00:47:24.81 "What accord, verse 15, has Christ with Belial? 00:47:24.84\00:47:28.84 Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?" 00:47:28.88\00:47:34.22 There is Christian, excuse me. 00:47:34.25\00:47:38.45 There are two categories. 00:47:38.49\00:47:41.16 There's demonic possession 00:47:41.19\00:47:44.93 and demonic oppression. 00:47:44.96\00:47:47.56 I believe Christians can be oppressed. 00:47:47.60\00:47:50.23 I have seen people oppressed, 00:47:50.27\00:47:52.53 but if the Holy Spirit is in you, 00:47:52.57\00:47:54.60 you cannot be possessed. 00:47:54.64\00:47:58.01 It is clear that all through the gospels, 00:47:58.04\00:48:01.24 you see, especially Matthew, Mark, and Luke, 00:48:01.28\00:48:03.88 Jesus going out and healing all including those 00:48:03.91\00:48:09.78 who were demon possessed. 00:48:09.82\00:48:11.92 But it's interesting because, 00:48:11.95\00:48:14.12 and I'm going to share this with you. 00:48:14.16\00:48:16.06 I was given a wrong teaching on this. 00:48:16.09\00:48:18.09 My mother was bipolar. 00:48:18.13\00:48:20.10 I was taught that her behavior 00:48:20.13\00:48:22.66 was because she was demon possessed. 00:48:22.70\00:48:24.70 And I remember the painfulness 00:48:24.73\00:48:27.50 of praying for her to be relieved from this. 00:48:27.54\00:48:31.41 Let me tell you something. 00:48:31.44\00:48:33.58 There is such a thing as having... 00:48:33.64\00:48:38.08 If there's a physical or emotional, 00:48:38.11\00:48:40.68 psychological cause it's chemical imbalance. 00:48:40.72\00:48:43.69 Thank you. 00:48:43.75\00:48:45.09 It is not demonic possession. 00:48:45.12\00:48:48.62 What we've got to do is if you think 00:48:48.66\00:48:52.96 you are being oppressed by the devil, 00:48:52.99\00:48:56.30 or I have prayed over people who were processed, 00:48:56.33\00:49:00.27 I've seen them contort in crazy images. 00:49:00.34\00:49:03.54 I prayed over people who were oppressed. 00:49:03.61\00:49:06.74 If you have to don't dabble with the occult. 00:49:06.78\00:49:09.28 That's the first thing I ask anybody 00:49:09.31\00:49:11.18 that's going through 00:49:11.21\00:49:12.55 what they feel like is oppression. 00:49:12.58\00:49:15.55 Have you been dabbling with the occult 00:49:15.58\00:49:17.79 because you're opening the door. 00:49:17.82\00:49:20.02 So we pray. 00:49:20.06\00:49:21.79 Yes, we anoint, 00:49:21.82\00:49:24.13 we asked to be filled with the Holy Spirit 00:49:24.16\00:49:27.36 and that's mine, I'll kick it over to you. 00:49:27.40\00:49:30.50 I forgot the question actually. 00:49:30.53\00:49:32.57 Can I, can I jump in there real quick? 00:49:32.60\00:49:33.97 Okay. 00:49:34.00\00:49:35.34 So ever so quickly, I want to piggyback off 00:49:35.37\00:49:36.71 of what you just said with opening the door, 00:49:36.74\00:49:39.37 because, you know, oftentimes we need to take into account 00:49:39.41\00:49:42.28 what we have in our home. 00:49:42.31\00:49:43.91 So what did we bring? 00:49:43.98\00:49:45.31 Did we bring some kind of crystal in there? 00:49:45.35\00:49:47.05 What kind of movies do we have? 00:49:47.08\00:49:48.75 What kind of music do we have? 00:49:48.78\00:49:50.15 What is... Artwork? 00:49:50.22\00:49:51.55 Yeah, artwork and all of that, 00:49:51.59\00:49:52.95 we need to take into account what is in our house, 00:49:52.99\00:49:55.82 because that opens the door for them to come in. 00:49:55.86\00:49:59.93 Once again, the question is, 00:49:59.96\00:50:01.26 how do we deal with demon possession 00:50:01.30\00:50:03.00 of loved ones or friends or demonic activities 00:50:03.06\00:50:05.27 in possessed houses or workplaces? 00:50:05.30\00:50:08.30 That's basically the question. Yeah. 00:50:08.34\00:50:09.70 I think they answered that very well. 00:50:09.74\00:50:11.07 You know, if you're not filled by the Spirit of God, 00:50:11.11\00:50:12.74 you will be filled by only one other spirit. 00:50:12.77\00:50:15.01 That's the spirit of demons. 00:50:15.04\00:50:16.64 And, but Matthew 12:43 talks 00:50:16.68\00:50:19.91 about the life that is swept and that is clean, 00:50:19.95\00:50:23.49 and that is empty. 00:50:23.52\00:50:24.85 A lot of people say, I no longer smoke, 00:50:24.89\00:50:26.29 no longer drink, 00:50:26.35\00:50:27.69 no longer participate in any sinful activity. 00:50:27.72\00:50:30.63 They're happy that their lives are swept and clean 00:50:30.66\00:50:33.70 and put in order. 00:50:33.73\00:50:35.03 But the life is empty. 00:50:35.06\00:50:36.53 If your life is not filled by the Spirit of God, 00:50:36.56\00:50:39.13 that spirit, the Bible says he comes back in Matthew 12:43, 00:50:39.17\00:50:44.31 he says, I'll return to my house from which I came. 00:50:44.34\00:50:46.68 And when he comes, he finds it empty, 00:50:46.74\00:50:48.54 swept, and put in order. 00:50:48.58\00:50:50.31 And then he goes and takes 00:50:50.35\00:50:51.68 seven other spirits more wicked. 00:50:51.71\00:50:53.68 So when you overcome anything, 00:50:53.72\00:50:55.15 don't just glory in overcoming sin, 00:50:55.18\00:50:57.59 but the glory should be that the Lord by His Holy Spirit 00:50:57.62\00:51:00.76 has filled your life 00:51:00.79\00:51:02.16 so that no other spirit can abide there. 00:51:02.19\00:51:04.99 Thank you so much. 00:51:05.03\00:51:06.36 So basically what can we say? 00:51:06.39\00:51:08.26 You know, somebody or somebody suspected 00:51:08.30\00:51:10.70 of having demon possession, 00:51:10.73\00:51:12.70 what's your recommendation in about 30 seconds? 00:51:12.73\00:51:15.57 Pray, have them anointed. 00:51:15.60\00:51:17.74 First of all, look for anything they brought into their home. 00:51:17.77\00:51:21.74 Pray over them, anoint them, 00:51:21.78\00:51:23.65 have them pray to be filled with Holy Spirit. 00:51:23.71\00:51:25.78 They've got to be willing 00:51:25.81\00:51:27.22 to surrender to the Lord's leading. 00:51:27.28\00:51:28.72 Okay. So there's hope for anyone. 00:51:28.75\00:51:30.15 Oh, there's hope for everyone. 00:51:30.19\00:51:31.79 And we see that in the Bible very clearly. 00:51:31.82\00:51:33.36 Thank you so much. 00:51:33.42\00:51:34.76 Well, we have a moment in which we would like 00:51:34.79\00:51:36.83 to give you again the opportunity 00:51:36.89\00:51:38.79 to know how you can send in your question. 00:51:38.83\00:51:41.03 You have seen many people have, 00:51:41.06\00:51:42.93 and we thank you for your questions. 00:51:43.00\00:51:44.83 They are very interesting and it really causes us 00:51:44.87\00:51:47.57 to study and pray more. 00:51:47.60\00:51:49.10 So we'll be back after this information 00:51:49.14\00:51:51.37 that you will receive that you will need. 00:51:51.41\00:51:55.44 If you're enjoying our 3ABN Bible Q and A, 00:51:55.48\00:51:58.28 then tell your friends. 00:51:58.31\00:51:59.85 Each Monday we'll bring you a fresh program, 00:51:59.88\00:52:02.35 answering the Bible questions you send us 00:52:02.38\00:52:04.69 and we'll use God's Holy Word to shed light on those texts 00:52:04.72\00:52:07.86 that seem difficult to understand. 00:52:07.89\00:52:10.19 If you would like your questions answered 00:52:10.23\00:52:11.79 on an upcoming program, just email them to us. 00:52:11.83\00:52:14.86 Our email address is BibleQA@3abn.org 00:52:14.93\00:52:19.67 That's BibleQA@3abn.org 00:52:19.70\00:52:24.37 You can also text us your questions 00:52:24.41\00:52:26.21 by sending them to (618) 228-3975. 00:52:26.24\00:52:30.85 That number again is (618) 228-3975. 00:52:30.88\00:52:35.88 Be sure to include your name and where you live, 00:52:35.92\00:52:38.39 and then watch 3ABN Bible Q and A 00:52:38.42\00:52:41.02 for the answers from God's Word. 00:52:41.06\00:52:56.04
