00:02 .
00:11 Hello and welcome back to 3ABN Behind the Scenes.
00:14 Again, we're so glad that you've joined us.
00:16 The first hour went by in a hurry and I know the second hour will
00:20 too.
00:24 3ABN has for evangelism, but that includes you too.
00:28 We were talking about books that you can, of course, get through
00:31 3ABN, pass out in your community.
00:33 We're talking about the brand new booklet, the one on abortion, and
00:37 that is available, Jill, this evening.
00:39 You'll give us some of those details and how they can order that
00:41 booklet this evening by the case to hand out in your communities.
00:44 We're also talking about evangelism using YouTube.
00:47 Ricky was sharing that with us, which is absolutely incredible.
00:50 You can do evangelism with your thumb.
00:52 That's because you're using your thumb to push the little buttons on
00:54 your phone and you can be sitting in your chair.
00:56 And it's amazing how YouTube will kind of, in a sense, do the
00:59 evangelism for you.
01:00 And that's by subscribing.
01:02 And you know, when you hear the word subscribe, it sounds like
01:04 money, but there is no fee to subscribing to 3ABN's YouTube
01:10 channel.
01:13 You can just kind of go back and look at the first hour if you want,
01:15 but there's a little button where you can hit all and then you get
01:17 notifications.
01:21 are doing searches, let's say on prophecy or other topics that 3ABN
01:25 presents.
01:28 And this second hour, Jill, is going to be about evangelism, too.
01:31 Amen.
01:34 We met her at our 3ABN School of Discipleship.
01:37 She came in from Australia and she'd been reading in the book of
01:40 Hebrews about the remains there for a rest for the people of God.
01:44 And she thought, what is this rest about?
01:45 And she kept reading and it talked about Sabbath rest.
01:48 So she said she went to YouTube, to the internet, and she typed in,
01:52 Sabbath, what is Sabbath?
01:55 And guess what popped up?
01:57 3ABN Sabbath School panel.
02:03 Seventh -day Adventist.
02:04 So YouTube evangelism, it really works.
02:07 It does.
02:12 And they just go and they type things, they search for things and
02:15 3ABN programming can be pushed as it were, their direction, so that
02:19 they can see it.
02:24 people would stumble across.
02:26 They flip a channel and they find 3ABN.
02:28 Now you just search in the internet and you can find 3ABN.
02:30 Yeah, amazing, absolutely.
02:32 We have some more family here with us tonight.
02:36 We traded out family from the first to the second hour.
02:38 We'll start over at this end.
02:40 Our dad, the other half of Shelly Quinn, we had Shelly sitting right
02:43 next to us here on the first hour.
02:46 But JD Quinn, who's of course our pastoral department manager, and
02:50 we're so glad to have you here tonight.
02:51 Well, thank you, it is a blessing to be here.
02:54 We love talking about 3ABN.
02:57 You know, if you're from Texas, everything's always big, okay?
03:03 And southern Illinois, there's nothing bigger than 3ABN.
03:08 A little bitty town with a big, big ministry and we're here for you.
03:12 This is evangelism.
03:13 It is.
03:14 And the reach of 3ABN is incredible as well.
03:17 We were talking about it on the first hour about 3ABN Sabbath
03:19 School Connect and how it was amazing this past Friday, how
03:22 people were reaching out.
03:24 Daniel, you were on that from all parts of the world.
03:26 So the reach of 3ABN is huge.
03:28 It is, and JD's going to be sharing some pastoral statistics and
03:32 information on what's happening with the 3ABN pastoral department.
03:35 Sitting next to JD is Daniel Perrin.
03:38 We always call you on Sabbath School panel Professor Perrin.
03:41 But that's just because he's a teacher for so many years.
03:43 But you're the assistant pastoral department manager.
03:46 And Daniel, we're so glad to have you here tonight.
03:48 Yes, it's good to be here.
03:49 I don't think anybody stumbles across 3ABN.
03:52 That's a good point.
03:53 They are led there.
03:54 And that's partly why I'm here too.
03:56 You know, led here, but I did not anticipate it.
03:59 God brings people to work.
04:01 And I'm glad to work here.
04:02 I'm glad to be here.
04:03 It's always good to be sitting next to JD.
04:05 That's right.
04:07 And I agree with you as far as the stumble across.
04:09 We kind of say in quotes, stumble across this really divine
04:12 appointment.
04:13 And it's neat to think about.
04:14 We hear these stories over and over again, Daniel.
04:15 But the timing in somebody's life where if they'd found 3ABN a year
04:20 earlier, it wouldn't have actually fit exactly what they were
04:22 searching for.
04:23 So the timing, God's timing is always perfect.
04:25 So praise God for that.
04:26 And God bringing you here and everybody here is God's perfect
04:29 timing as well.
04:30 So we're thankful you're part of the family.
04:31 Talking about the timing of that, thank you for being a part of God's
04:34 family here, of course, 3ABN.
04:36 Amen.
04:39 children, some of which work here at 3ABN.
04:42 We're so grateful for that.
04:44 Coming around the table, Dee Hildebrand.
04:46 Dee is a fixture at 3ABN.
04:49 We could say this because she's been here for many years, served as
04:53 3ABN Production Coordinator for many years and then semi-retired
04:56 and worked harder than even before the semi-retirement.
04:58 She is 3ABN Special Projects Coordinator and we're glad you're
05:03 here tonight.
05:03 I only do the fun things.
05:04 It's great.
05:05 I love it.
05:09 had before all the time.
05:11 And God still works miracles.
05:12 I love, you're right, divine appointments.
05:15 It's wonderful.
05:18 I was calling on repairs and whatever and I had this technician
05:21 on the phone.
05:26 and we were talking about making an appointment and I said, we can't do
05:30 it on Saturday because we're Sabbath keepers.
05:33 He goes, are you Adventist?
05:36 I'm like, yes, Thompsonville Seventh-day Adventist Church.
05:39 He goes, I'm new Adventist, baptized three months ago.
05:42 He had an accent.
05:46 3ABN and tell him how to get his app on his cell phone.
05:51 And it helped me.
05:53 3ABN made a difference in David and I's lives when we became new
05:56 Adventists because we could watch 3ABN and we learned in amazingly
06:01 speedy way.
06:02 I mean, far faster than just going to church.
06:04 So it was like such a thrill that God answered this technician's
06:09 prayer, but he also used me to do it.
06:11 And so it was very thrilling and camp meetings coming.
06:14 Yes.
06:18 minutes.
06:19 Absolutely.
06:23 She and her husband, Gary, moved here.
06:25 Is it two or three years now?
06:26 Two years.
06:27 Two years.
06:30 clerk.
06:31 Well, thank you for having me.
06:32 I'm happy to be here.
06:33 You know, and it's great too because Henry, your son, he just
06:37 started working some part-time here at 3ABN just here recently.
06:41 So great to have Henry on board.
06:42 Six days.
06:43 Yeah, that's great.
06:44 Today is the sixth day.
06:46 Yeah, great young man.
06:47 You're going to be talking about camp meeting too.
06:49 Yeah, we'll be talking about camp meeting.
06:50 Amen.
06:52 Enjoy everyone.
06:52 Amen.
06:53 Yes, that's great.
06:54 And we have also another person that you haven't seen yet, but
06:57 you've course no stranger to you on 3ABN.
06:59 That's Pastor John Denzi.
07:02 And he's joining us via Skype all the way from Mexico.
07:05 And I believe, are you there, Pastor John Denzi?
07:10 I think there he is.
07:11 Yes, I am here.
07:12 3ABN actually Tuxla, Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico, way south in
07:18 Mexico.
07:19 And you and your lovely wife Mrs. Denzi are there and Randy Bermejo
07:24 is there.
07:25 Tell us what's going on in Mexico.
07:27 We know it's very exciting, but tell our folks at home.
07:30 Oh, this is exciting.
07:32 This is about evangelism.
07:33 And that's why 3ABN is here because we are participating in an
07:39 evangelistic campaign that is nationwide organized by the unions
07:45 of Mexico.
07:46 We have been invited to participate.
07:48 And the evangelistic campaign is called Jesus is Sufficient.
07:53 Jesus is Sufficient.
07:54 And the speaker is Pastor Luis Orozco.
07:58 And behind me you see the title of the evangelistic campaign.
08:02 I'm actually on the set because they're not on right now.
08:06 So that's why I'm here.
08:07 So this is the fourth nationwide evangelistic campaign that they
08:13 have organized.
08:19 And they are doing a magnificent job.
08:21 They have united to bring a nationwide evangelistic campaign.
08:26 All the unions participate.
08:28 There are actually 43 local conferences in Mexico.
08:33 And these 43 conferences are participating.
08:35 This is like, you remember the NET series with Pastor Mark Finley,
08:40 Doug Batchelor, and others that participate in the NET series.
08:44 What is different about this is that today, conferences have
08:48 webpages.
08:49 Conferences also have YouTube pages.
08:51 Not only that, people, members of the church have YouTube pages.
08:56 So this is giving this a nationwide reach in a way that has really
09:03 making history.
09:04 So there are 43 local conferences, 23 radio stations have united to
09:10 broadcast this evangelistic campaign.
09:12 And of course, Homes of Hope.
09:15 There are churches open all across the nation broadcasting the
09:20 evangelistic campaign.
09:22 But there are people in their homes inviting their neighbors, inviting
09:24 their friends, inviting their families.
09:26 So this is really an amazing thing.
09:28 And we have pictures that illustrate some of that.
09:31 And you'll be able to see those.
09:32 So interestingly enough, they are also providing a service for the
09:38 hearing impaired.
09:39 They are also receiving a signal.
09:40 And each night, it is increasing.
09:43 Last night, there were 370 people tuning in.
09:48 As a matter of fact, some people have put, like, a projector
09:52 outside.
09:55 people sit there, and they listen to the evangelistic campaign.
09:59 So it's an amazing thing.
10:00 They have the conference here, the union.
10:03 I'm actually in the Chiapas, Mexico Union.
10:06 This is where the signal is originating from.
10:09 Each year, a union has a turn.
10:12 A union selects the speaker.
10:14 And this here is Pastor Luis Orozco.
10:16 The interesting thing is that this union has been transformed into an
10:19 evangelism center.
10:21 The leaders of the union here have given up their offices, and it has
10:25 become like a prayer room, or it has become like an editing bay.
10:31 And so it's an amazing thing that is happening here.
10:34 And we have to ask the question, well, what does 3ABN bring to the
10:39 table?
10:41 3ABN is on cable here.
10:43 It's actually the only 7-day evidence channel on cable.
10:46 But not only are we on cable locally, we are on dozens of cable
10:51 stations across Mexico.
10:53 And actually, we're on over 1,300 cable stations across the world.
10:58 And of course, 3ABN also brings about 30, somewhere between 30 and
11:03 35, local television channels that are broadcasting.
11:07 So 3ABN brings a lot to the evangelistic campaign.
11:10 Also, it is Brother Randy Bermejo that is working with 3ABN right
11:16 now.
11:20 So he's actually managing the streaming service.
11:23 That streaming goes directly to our master control.
11:27 From our master control at 3ABN, the signal also goes to other
11:31 organizations, including Hope Channel Intramurica is picking up
11:35 our streaming.
11:40 they may be on and radio stations or TV stations.
11:43 So this is a huge undertaking.
11:45 Now, please listen to this because your prayers are needed.
11:49 About 5,000 people are baptized every year in these efforts.
11:52 This year, they are hoping for more.
11:54 And it's a matter of prayer.
11:58 And we believe that God is going to bless us each night and an appeal
12:02 is made and people come forward for baptism.
12:04 It's an amazing thing that God is doing here.
12:07 And 3ABN, of course, participates whenever we can in evangelistic
12:11 campaigns.
12:18 Amen.
12:19 Now, that's an exciting report.
12:20 And we will definitely join with you in prayer.
12:22 And, of course, we're inviting you.
12:23 You heard Pastor John Denzi inviting you at home to join in
12:26 prayer for those that will be getting baptized very soon.
12:30 It's exciting what the Lord is doing.
12:32 It's amazing of the reach again of 3ABN Latino.
12:34 Pastor John, you were talking about all those cable stations there
12:37 across Mexico and, of course, around the world that carry 3ABN
12:41 Latino.
12:45 sites?
12:48 in.
12:53 or in their homes or communities where they're inviting other people
12:57 in to sit down and watch?
12:59 Did we understand that correctly?
13:01 Well, let me go back to that.
13:03 It's actually 370 hearing-impaired sites.
13:08 That's just hearing-impaired sites.
13:12 There are several thousand churches.
13:13 I don't have that detailed.
13:15 Several thousand churches in the country of Mexico that have their
13:21 churches open and they have a projector.
13:25 And so they are also participating.
13:27 Interesting also is that there are people that apparently don't even
13:32 have a TV station, so they're actually using their cell phones to
13:36 put the signal on for their families.
13:38 And, of course, some people have tablets, some people have
13:40 computers.
13:44 Evangelistic Campaign that shows the name of the Evangelistic
13:49 Campaign.
13:53 In this video, you see, of course, the music part.
13:57 And this video shows us all that there's a huge undertaking.
14:03 It's very well organized.
14:05 And there's special music.
14:07 And the music is wonderful music.
14:09 Actually, this is music that 3ABN viewers will enjoy.
14:13 This is Pastor Luis Orozco that you see on the screen preaching.
14:16 And the Lord uses him.
14:17 He has a particular way of preaching that really attracts
14:22 people.
14:22 And this is why he was selected.
14:24 And he is making appeals that are really touching hearts.
14:28 And it is all, of course, the work of the Holy Spirit working in
14:31 hearts and drawing people to the Lord.
14:34 Because when the Word of God is preached, we know that it will not
14:38 return to him void and he will use any instrument that surrenders.
14:41 And we see that there's a lot of prayer.
14:43 He's always asking, when you see him, he'll say, please pray for me.
14:47 And he is being prayed for.
14:49 This is a young man that is blind.
14:52 And he says, people see the sun, but they don't see what I see.
14:58 And he has spiritual eyesight that allows him to connect to the Lord.
15:02 And every night, people are baptized.
15:04 And we just praise the Lord for what is going on because this is
15:07 like an awakening that is happening because the unions, they have
15:11 talked about uniting and they're uniting their efforts.
15:15 And it's a tremendous blessing to see the union presidents come here
15:20 and they participate as well.
15:22 And we just praise the Lord because 3ABN is a part of this historic,
15:28 evangelistic campaign here in Mexico City, in Chiapas, Mexico.
15:33 Thank you so much, Pastor Johnny Yu and Mrs. Denzi and Brother Randy
15:37 for being there.
15:38 Thank you for your leadership with 3ABN Latino.
15:41 Thank you for the clarification.
15:43 There's thousands of churches being involved and joining together and
15:47 those home groups as well.
15:48 So praise the Lord that the Gospel message is going out and we're
15:52 joining in prayer that there will be a rich harvest of souls.
15:56 Amen, absolutely.
15:57 And I echo what Jill says.
15:58 Thank you for your leadership, Pastor John Denzi.
16:00 We continue to pray for you.
16:01 And safe travels back because one week from tonight, 3ABN Fall
16:05 Homecoming starts.
16:06 And I know you all will be here.
16:10 are going on there.
16:11 Thank you again.
16:11 God bless you.
16:12 Have a great evening.
16:14 What a blessing.
16:17 and yeah, it's just exciting to see.
16:19 You know, we know we're living in the end times.
16:22 And wow, just to see the work of God still exploding in a good way
16:26 around the world and so many people that are looking for truth, looking
16:30 for answers in the world full of chaos.
16:32 And we know that Camp Meeting is coming, like I just said, a week
16:36 from tonight.
16:37 So excited about that.
16:39 And it's a revival of righteousness right here on the campus of 3ABN.
16:44 And we know many of you have already signed up to come.
16:46 Those of you bringing RVs have signed up because you have to do
16:49 that if you're bringing an RV.
16:50 Also, we know some of you are bringing tents.
16:52 We have a really nice bath house here at 3ABN.
16:55 And we're expecting quite a good crowd here for fall, which we
16:59 normally do.
17:02 summer spring camp meeting that we have.
17:04 It's a little bit less people here and some people like that.
17:08 But we know the messages will be really, really powerful.
17:11 So if you can make it here, that's great.
17:13 If you can't, of course, you can join us right here on 3ABN and 3ABN
17:16 Radio.
17:18 But speaking of camp meeting, we have Dee and Kelly.
17:21 There are many people that help make camp meeting happen.
17:24 But when you drive into the parking lot of the worship center where
17:27 camp meeting happens, you'll see these two ladies at the information
17:31 center.
17:32 Why do you like camp meeting, Dee?
17:34 Well, I've always enjoyed camp meeting.
17:36 Even when I was in production, I enjoyed it.
17:38 But now, now, I'm at the information booth and I get to meet
17:44 everybody and see people.
17:45 I'm out there.
17:46 I'm not behind the scenes helping camp meeting happen.
17:49 I'm out there getting to meet you and interact with you.
17:52 And you get the kids and you get just a wide variety of people.
17:56 And it's just, it's so exciting because they're excited.
18:00 And it just blesses my soul more than it blesses everybody else.
18:05 So at least I hope we're a blessing and helpful because we do a lot of
18:09 things for camp meeting.
18:10 These are these extra hats we all wear during camp meetings.
18:14 Oh, yes.
18:18 And I've been out there for three years.
18:20 That'll be four.
18:21 This will be my fourth.
18:22 But coming back, you know, the people that come back every time
18:25 and seeing them and seeing how, what they've done in their life or
18:29 what's been going on in their ministries, it's great to see
18:31 everyone.
18:34 Right, so we have our own golf carts.
18:37 So we do have golf carts that we did have before, but we have two
18:40 red.
18:41 What do we use them for?
18:47 meetings or going to, when the browse around is open, bring them
18:51 up to the browse around or to...
18:53 Even to the meals too.
18:54 Yep, to the meals.
18:55 Yep, for people that are...
18:57 Any place you need to go.
18:59 Yep, just wave us down and say hi.
19:00 And what color are they?
19:01 They're candy apple red.
19:03 I'm so excited, so much fun.
19:06 And they have a roof over them now.
19:09 Yep, and it's a six-seater and a four-seater that we have.
19:11 So we have two and it's very exciting.
19:13 And both of you are the drivers of these golf carts the majority of
19:15 the time, so what a blessing.
19:16 And thank you for doing that.
19:18 There's other people that jump in and help too, but we're the main
19:22 ones.
19:25 you have a question, if you don't, whether it's a camper or someone
19:30 tending or RV or even if you're just driving in or coming in from a
19:35 hotel or whatever, you need to come to the information booths.
19:38 We can help you.
19:40 You have maps and information.
19:42 Yes, that's right.
19:46 That's good.
19:47 Talk to us a little bit about the tent camping aspect too because
19:50 that to me is just a really neat aspect of 3ABN.
19:53 If you've never been to 3ABN, I've had this from time to time,
19:56 especially if somebody comes from a really big city, they're like,
19:59 whoa.
20:01 I mean, like really in the country.
20:03 So we actually have a really nice campus that people can really enjoy
20:06 nature so they can bring a tent.
20:07 Talk to us a little bit about the tent.
20:08 We don't really have like a campground.
20:12 We have grass everywhere.
20:14 So you're not just camped right next to, you can be camped together
20:18 as a group or next to somebody if you want, or you can kind of go out
20:22 away from other tenters.
20:23 You kind of pick your own spot, but it's all grassy.
20:26 We have seven different zones this year.
20:28 So we have A through H.
20:32 So we have that.
20:34 And so you can choose what zone you're going to be in and then just
20:37 let us know.
20:39 It is a first come, first serve, yeah.
20:40 And it's free.
20:41 People don't have to pay to come.
20:43 And there's water available.
20:45 Of course, we have the bath house.
20:47 With flush toilets.
20:48 With flush toilets, yes.
20:49 We have flush toilets, yes.
20:51 So it's not roughing camping.
20:54 We had someone bring their log cabin tent and had a couch in it
20:59 and everything.
20:59 It was kind of interesting.
21:00 I hadn't heard about that.
21:01 They had a couch in it.
21:02 It was fun.
21:02 Oh, yeah.
21:03 It was a blow-up couch.
21:05 But it was still a couch.
21:07 It was a very cute log cabin.
21:09 But the thing that to me is exciting is that three of them talk
21:12 about you being part of the family, but actually families do come with
21:15 their kids and the whole family comes and enjoys great kids'
21:18 meetings.
21:22 And some of these friendships go on after they leave camp meeting, too.
21:25 So it's very much a family.
21:28 We get to know people.
21:30 And one of the reasons we're doing the zones like we are is so that we
21:34 can get a hold of people in tents.
21:36 If there's an emergency.
21:39 phone numbers and stuff so we can contact you if we need to.
21:43 Everybody's organized.
21:44 So thank you for y'all's organization.
21:45 Very organized.
21:46 Talk to us a little bit about...
21:47 We mentioned in the first hour about a hayride, brand new.
21:50 So Lord willing with the weather cooperating.
21:52 Talk to us about that Sabbath night.
21:54 After the last meeting.
21:55 After the meetings.
21:57 That's kind of how we wrap up camp meeting except for breakfast.
22:00 We have this nice little bow tie at the end of camp meeting.
22:03 So we'll have a bonfire and popcorn.
22:09 And it's time for family to get together and meet with the friends
22:13 that you've met.
22:14 So we have this...
22:15 It's not a new wagon.
22:17 It was given to us.
22:19 But Jim refurbished it.
22:21 Now Jim doesn't do anything halfway.
22:23 This is a gorgeous wagon.
22:26 It's got slanted backs on it.
22:28 And he put stairs on it.
22:29 I don't care if you're very young or you're very old.
22:32 You can still get up into the hay wagon.
22:34 It's not a problem.
22:36 And it'll be a lot of fun.
22:37 So it's just a short ride.
22:39 Just pray for good weather.
22:41 So just come and enjoy yourself and just have a good time at camp
22:45 meeting.
22:47 It'll be a tractor.
22:49 It's a tractor.
22:50 So it'll smell good.
22:53 Okay.
22:54 Yeah, but camp meeting is a great time.
22:56 And again, talking about the help and the kids' meetings, Daniel, I
22:59 know your family actually helps out a lot at camp meeting.
23:02 A lot of your kids help out volunteering at the, what do you
23:06 call it?
23:06 Cafeteria.
23:10 Yeah, exactly.
23:11 They work so hard, yes.
23:12 But talk to us about the prayer time at camp meeting.
23:15 Because to me, that's a wonderful way to start camp meeting each day.
23:19 That's right.
23:23 We pray at the end of the day, certainly.
23:25 But we gather for a special prayer time of about an hour every
23:29 morning, right before breakfast.
23:32 And Donald, he's another one up there in the pastoral department.
23:36 He especially is just very energetic about this.
23:39 And the numbers, what we find is that people might think getting up
23:42 that early is difficult.
23:44 But once you experience that time of gathering together for prayer,
23:47 the numbers always swell.
23:49 And then the last day sometimes is the biggest.
23:52 And we just really encourage people, if you're here for camp
23:54 meeting, definitely, make it a point to come to the prayer room.
23:59 And you don't, the thing is, sometimes people think, I can't
24:01 pray out loud.
24:02 You don't have to.
24:03 That's right.
24:05 You are there and you're praying, you know, quietly while others are
24:08 praying out loud.
24:09 And then some people discover, I can pray out loud too.
24:12 And it's such a blessing.
24:13 It's so encouraging.
24:14 Amen.
24:18 Truly, I was just shocked.
24:21 Just the energy of everybody being on the same page, praying to the
24:24 same God.
24:25 It was absolutely amazing.
24:27 It's a precious time.
24:28 It was a precious time.
24:29 And I've seen a lot of people, we're talking about 152 people.
24:35 And I guess we've been doing it for the last four or five years.
24:38 And every year just continues to grow.
24:41 You know, people might think, how can you pray for an hour?
24:44 Well, we break it down into shorter periods of time with topics.
24:48 And then we share a Bible verse and introduce the topic.
24:51 And then at the end, we have a little song just to draw people's
24:54 attention back together and then move on to another topic.
24:57 And there's different varieties of ways that you can lead people in
25:00 prayer.
25:01 And so we try to do it differently.
25:03 So there's some creativity and, you know, it's new every time, new
25:08 every morning.
25:13 pray with people, you can get involved in a real deep, intense
25:15 prayer, which is good too.
25:16 Every type of prayer has its place.
25:19 But I like when you're in a large group of people, they're shorter
25:21 prayers.
25:25 I love that.
25:28 Yes, isn't it though?
25:29 You know, the thing that really surprised me, I came from Central
25:31 Texas.
25:36 If you're in a farming business, it's pretty difficult, you know, to
25:39 raise anything on 10 inches of rain.
25:42 Here we average probably 45 to 50 inches of rain a year.
25:45 We're talking about campus size, where we're not just sitting here,
25:49 just pressed in like you're coming out of a football game or
25:53 something, you know.
25:54 How large is our campus?
25:56 100 acres, 120 acres?
25:58 Yes, 200, over 200 acres total.
26:01 So we've got plenty of room for you to roam.
26:03 That's what we're saying, to have that special time for yourself.
26:07 And the beautiful thing about it is, it's so pretty and green.
26:12 I mean, here big business is mowing.
26:16 In Texas, it's not so much.
26:18 It's not so much.
26:23 don't have to mow at all.
26:25 Let them do the mowing for you.
26:26 They handle that for us.
26:28 But this is a special campus.
26:29 If you haven't been to 3ABN, just to see how beautiful it is.
26:35 I mean, Danny Shelton, he's a visionary.
26:40 Oh yes, all the way.
26:42 I mean, 3ABN started just with an idea, just with a prayer that came
26:47 through.
26:48 Do you act on it or not?
26:50 A lot of people are given gifts, but they don't act it out.
26:54 Boy, this is, and I mean, 40 years.
26:58 What a gift, what a gift.
26:59 So again, we invite you to camp meeting.
27:01 It starts next Thursday.
27:03 That is September 26th, goes through Sabbath night.
27:06 Come on down, come on over, come on up, wherever you are, come to 3ABN
27:09 camp meeting.
27:10 You're part of the family.
27:11 And again, if you cannot, come here in person.
27:13 Of course, watch on 3ABN.
27:15 I believe, Jill, it starts at 6 p .m.
27:16 Central time with the music hour.
27:18 We'll have a couple of sermons that evening as well, starting Thursday
27:21 night.
27:22 But again, I was talking to a gentleman.
27:24 His name is Mr. Jerry.
27:25 He's coming from the Carolinas.
27:27 And he's coming over to camp meeting.
27:29 And he said, I'm going to come a little bit early, he said, and just
27:31 kind of hang out and enjoy the scenery and things.
27:35 And then he said, you know, I'm actually bringing a donation.
27:37 I said, okay.
27:41 donation center.
27:44 some items, a lot of people bring some coins or some jewelry or some
27:46 other different items for our donation center.
27:49 We then turn those around, sell them at a good price.
27:53 You know, God blesses with that.
27:54 And then that money is immediately turned right back into the ministry
27:56 of 3ABN.
27:57 So Jerry's coming to camp meeting.
27:58 But when he's coming, he's actually bringing some items with him that
28:01 3ABN then can sell.
28:02 So it's just a great time of fellowship.
28:04 Love camp meeting.
28:05 Thank you for what each one of you do.
28:06 I know the pastoral department usually does tours.
28:09 So if you've not been or you've been before, want to see the
28:12 studios where we are right here this evening, see where Sabbath
28:14 School panel is recorded, that sort of thing.
28:16 We do tours.
28:17 Let's see, fall.
28:18 That would be Friday after noon, I believe it is.
28:21 I'll be about...
28:22 245 to 330.
28:24 Yes, something like that.
28:26 215 maybe?
28:27 It's an open space in there, you know.
28:30 Yeah.
28:34 Point them in the right direction so we won't leave you lost trying
28:37 to wander around.
28:38 So yeah, for sure.
28:39 If you're bringing an RV, you need to register.
28:42 If you're bringing a tent, you don't have to register in advance.
28:45 But if you're bringing an RV, you need to register in advance because
28:48 we only have so many spots for that.
28:50 But the call center is open tonight.
28:51 So you can call us right now at 618 -627-4651.
28:57 That number again is 618-627-4651.
29:01 And you just say, I'm coming to camp meeting.
29:04 I'm bringing my RV.
29:05 They'll ask you a couple of questions about that.
29:08 But it's complimentary.
29:09 You don't have to pay anything to stay.
29:11 And just register because we would love to have you here.
29:15 And the food is free.
29:17 Absolutely, everything is complimentary.
29:19 The gospel is free as well.
29:21 And that's the bottom line, absolutely.
29:23 Feed your body and your spirit.
29:25 That's right.
29:27 So I mentioned earlier, and I forgot to pitch it back to you, but
29:29 about the books.
29:31 same number this evening and maybe talk about that cost too.
29:34 Absolutely.
29:35 So the abortion books will be here next week.
29:38 So this is the focus on Truth About Abortion.
29:41 So we've had sponsors who've covered the printing costs of the
29:45 book.
29:45 Praise the Lord for that.
29:47 So all you need to pay is the cost of the shipping and the handling
29:50 for that.
29:51 So there's 200 booklets in a case.
29:54 You can order the cases right now at 618-627-4651.
30:01 And there's $30 for the shipping and handling for the case, so an
30:05 entire case for $30 for that shipping and handling.
30:09 Or you can go online, 3abn.tv, and you can order as well if you'd like
30:14 the cases that way.
30:16 In addition, we talked the first hour about Shelley's book,
30:19 Spotless, The Everlasting Covenant.
30:23 We're just getting ready to reprint, do the second printing of
30:26 that for the book in English and in Spanish because it's translated
30:30 into Spanish now as well.
30:32 And if you want to help sponsor the printing of that book so that it
30:37 can be given away free, just the cost of the shipping again, if you
30:41 want to help sponsor that, we've had a great response come in.
30:45 I would say over half is already sponsored.
30:48 So praise the Lord for that.
30:50 But you can call us at 3abn as well if you'd like to help sponsor that.
30:53 Or go online and donate.
30:55 The fund code is 317-317.
30:58 That's for Spotless.
30:59 And we'd love to be able to get that book out, have an even wider
31:04 distribution because it's all about the gospel, righteousness by faith.
31:08 And if I can mention this, this is a wonderful opportunity.
31:12 If you come to our campus, if you enjoy the camp meeting here in
31:15 person, and these books, rather than spending it for freight, you
31:19 can probably save the shipping for what it cost you to get here.
31:22 That's right, correct.
31:24 That's something to think about.
31:26 Another reason to come to camp meeting in person.
31:28 Amen.
31:28 Yes.
31:31 We've been talking a lot about the first set.
31:34 And we have it, and many of you have it already.
31:36 But the second set will be here by next week.
31:40 You can pre-order it if you'd like.
31:43 The second set, the first set is called Looking Higher.
31:46 The second set is called Searching Deeper.
31:50 And we're calling it our Prophecy Set.
31:52 So Daniel, why don't you talk to us about what people can find in this
31:56 second set.
32:02 Sure, and it's been a great privilege.
32:04 You know, we opened the program talking about evangelism worldwide.
32:08 And these Bible studies, they're like a little evangelism series.
32:13 They go out somewhere, and then we don't know where they go.
32:16 And a little evangelism series happens around a kitchen table, or
32:20 in a prison cell, or over the phone.
32:22 Because I know people have, you know, shipped a set off to a family
32:25 member, and then they meet once a week.
32:26 And over the phone, they read through it together.
32:29 And then as the Lord leads, continue to ask and answer more
32:32 questions.
32:33 So the second set, it follows the same format.
32:36 It'll look just like this, just a different color, and different
32:39 pictures on the front.
32:40 But it'll pick up exactly, pretty much where we left off.
32:43 The first set kind of introduces basic Bible doctrines to people who
32:48 may already know something, or even those who know absolutely nothing.
32:52 You could start right here.
32:53 And then the second set, I'm just going to walk you through the
32:55 topics that we find in there.
32:57 It starts with a relationship with Jesus.
33:00 So you've got the doctrines.
33:02 You've got beliefs founded on the Bible, founded on Jesus.
33:05 And you begin to take those in by saying, I want to know the God of
33:09 the Bible.
33:12 So especially dealing with prayer.
33:13 That's what that first lesson is all about.
33:15 Getting to know Jesus through a relationship of prayer.
33:18 That's powerful.
33:18 Amen.
33:19 The next two lessons following that go together.
33:23 The second one is about the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
33:26 So when we've asked God into our life, what happens?
33:29 What is the fruit that begins to be formed?
33:32 And so detailing what the Bible tells us about different fruits of
33:35 the Spirit.
33:36 Leading into the next one, which is on the spiritual gift of prophecy,
33:40 which is an active gift that the Holy Spirit gives.
33:44 And God is still communicating to his people.
33:48 And so what is the gift of prophecy?
33:50 And how can we understand it?
33:51 How can we look for it and identify it in the world today?
33:54 And then the next seven lessons go through prophecy.
33:58 Three of them on Daniel.
33:59 We'd love to, of course, take all the stories of Daniel.
34:03 But really we focus in a little bit on the story that zooms in on
34:08 Daniel 2 and Daniel 7 together in the first prophecy lesson.
34:13 And then Daniel 8 with an explanation of the sanctuary, which
34:17 is just a wonderful topic.
34:19 Everything that we do zooms in on the sanctuary.
34:22 And then Daniel 9 is the next one, which is that prophecy that points
34:27 in on Jesus, the exact time that he came.
34:30 And then that gives more light on Daniel 8 and the sanctuary.
34:34 And then we move into the three lessons on Revelation.
34:37 And there's one on what is the Antichrist?
34:41 What do we find in both Revelation 12 and 13?
34:45 And the next lesson focuses on the United States in Bible prophecy.
34:49 And for those who are unfamiliar, it paints a picture that we find
34:54 through the Bible about the times that we're living in right now.
34:57 And people will see the Bible is talking about stuff that's
34:59 relevant, things that we see happening before us.
35:03 And then what is the mark of the beast?
35:05 And people are interested to know what does the Bible say about this?
35:09 And so using just the Bible and things that are clearly understood
35:13 in God's Word, what's the mark of the beast?
35:16 And so if you're wondering what that is, go and read this when it
35:20 comes out.
35:21 And the final four lessons, all right?
35:24 Kind of still on prophecy, we have the Millennium.
35:26 What happens after the second coming?
35:28 There's a period of a thousand years.
35:30 And what does the Bible say about that?
35:32 And then we get to what is, what does the Bible say about heaven and
35:37 the new earth and eternal life?
35:39 Because there's some misunderstanding about that.
35:41 And the Bible is actually really clear when you put one text side by
35:45 side with another and you let scripture explain itself, what is
35:48 heaven and the new earth.
35:50 Now, the last two lessons are response lessons because people
35:54 have studied the Word of God and hopefully they've been praying
35:56 through this process.
35:58 And maybe some others in their study time have helped add more to
36:02 it by pointing to other Bible texts that we couldn't have space to
36:06 include here.
36:07 But the last two studies are response lessons.
36:10 The first one is the response of baptism and making a decision
36:14 saying, Lord, I want to accept everything that you've offered me.
36:17 And the final lesson, and somebody said that it didn't seem to make
36:20 sense why you put that as the last one, but the last one is on
36:24 stewardship.
36:25 It's not stewardship just of coins and dollar bills.
36:28 It is about saying, you gave everything for me and therefore
36:33 Lord, I'm going to dedicate myself and all that I have to you.
36:36 That's the essence of stewardship.
36:38 Everything about me, not only the money in my pocket, but my very
36:41 life, my health, my time, my relationships, everything belongs
36:45 to God.
36:47 And, of course, this isn't the end of Bible study.
36:49 All of this.
36:51 We say this first set is an introductory set, but the whole
36:54 thing is an introduction to a life of following God.
37:00 The Lord has used you tremendously.
37:02 The lessons are clear.
37:04 They're biblical.
37:05 They're consistent.
37:06 They're engaging.
37:07 I love in the back they have the QR code where you can get more
37:10 information on our 3ABM Bible Answers website.
37:13 There's videos connected with it.
37:15 There's ways that there's a summary at the end and what does this mean
37:19 for my life today.
37:20 So we want to encourage you.
37:22 If you want, you can, we'll call it pre-order.
37:25 The Bible study is actually the first shipment is air freighted in
37:28 time for camp meeting and won't be here till next week.
37:30 And then the rest are coming on the slow boat, you could say the
37:34 shipment.
37:37 toward the end of October.
37:38 But if you want to pre-order, you're welcome to do that.
37:41 One set, this is either the first set or the second set is available
37:45 for a suggested donation of $8.
37:48 That includes the shipping.
37:49 Or what we recommend is the order 10 sets.
37:53 If you get 10 sets, it's the suggested donation of $30.
37:56 So that breaks it down to $3 a set that includes shipping in the
38:01 United States.
38:04 States.
38:09 Now it's a pre-order because you probably won't get it till toward
38:11 the end of October, but you can call us at 618-627-4651.
38:18 We'll also have them available for download for free at our website.
38:23 We have all the first set already there.
38:25 The second set is not up yet, but it will be up shortly for that as
38:28 well.
38:32 Word of God and to study the Word.
38:34 Use these lessons in your home and in your communities.
38:38 Can I interject something here?
38:41 I know that this has been...
38:44 This right here has been your dream for as long as I've known you.
38:51 3ABN needs its own Bible studies.
38:55 Well, unbeknownst to us, we were waiting for that right person.
39:01 Sometimes you try to get a little bit ahead or you drag your feet.
39:05 We were waiting, patiently waiting and the right person showed up.
39:09 This wasn't on his radar screen.
39:11 And we didn't know Daniel Perrin and then here he comes and wow,
39:14 praise God.
39:15 This man is a true student.
39:17 Very, very dedicated.
39:19 He's not one who jumps up every 5 minutes and wants to go get a drink
39:23 of water or walk the halls.
39:26 He's a student.
39:27 He's in there.
39:28 He gets there, he puts his 10 hours in.
39:31 He's focused.
39:33 And he thinks about it when he's at home too He'd be like, wake up in
39:36 the morning or going to bed at night.
39:38 Like, oh, this is how we should do it.
39:40 So, you're right, J.D.
39:41 Amen.
39:47 and we've got a platform to share it around the world.
39:50 We wonder how God works sometimes, you know.
39:53 Well, I don't guess he hears our prayers.
39:55 He hears our prayers.
39:57 He just says, hey, let me handle this, J.D.
40:00 God's perfect timing, right?
40:02 That's exactly right.
40:03 Yeah, I know for sure.
40:07 layout here, you know, there are many people for whom it's true that
40:11 a picture is worth a thousand words and there are lessons in here where
40:15 you open up and you look at a picture and it tells you what's on
40:18 that page or it tells you what's in that lesson.
40:20 So, for those of you who are visually oriented, you'll be
40:23 blessed by what you see as well as what you read.
40:25 It's a whole team because you have the proofreaders and all those copy
40:27 editors and it goes through a pastoral team as well.
40:29 So, it's quite a group effort but it's fun, right, studying the Word
40:33 of God.
40:36 out here but talk to us about the pastoral department, what you do,
40:40 there's a...
40:43 roll at the end of that because he participated in something really
40:46 special recently.
40:47 But talk to us about your team and what goes on there.
40:49 Let me say this in 25 words or less, okay?
40:52 All right.
40:53 Maybe add a few more words.
40:55 That's okay, take your time.
40:56 We have plenty of time.
40:58 Mending broken people.
40:59 Three words right there is what the pastoral department is all about.
41:04 We know that there's a need.
41:05 So, we know if there's a need, how are we going to solve this need?
41:09 Well, let's have a prayer warrior.
41:11 Let's have two prayer warriors.
41:13 Let's have three prayer warriors.
41:14 And now we've got lots of prayer warriors not only at this location
41:20 but around the world.
41:22 Let me just, I would like to just go through some quick names real
41:26 quick of our team, all right?
41:28 The two of us, the two of us.
41:31 Joe O'Brien, Mitch Owen, Donald Owen, Ron Baird, Claude Turner, our
41:37 precious 104-year-old soldier that's still soldiering out there.
41:41 His wife Anne, Rich Fullmer, a friend of your father's.
41:47 Yes, that's right.
41:47 He was the head elder at...
41:50 At Parker'sburg Church.
41:53 Daniel Marconi, your dad.
41:55 Ian Vandervault is working part -time there.
41:58 He's got a full-time job here.
42:00 Terry Stanley got a full-time job here but they're volunteering in
42:03 our department.
42:04 Abby Cornea, she works and she's writing letters.
42:08 We have four people in the prison ministry that are absolutely do the
42:12 work of 20 people.
42:13 And that's Delores Faith, Celife, Celife, thank you, you always know
42:18 the right how to say that.
42:20 And Glenn, so thank you Jesus that they're part of our team.
42:24 Every one of them is dedicated.
42:26 What do we do?
42:28 We can sit here and talk about it but what do we do?
42:31 If I can just take two minutes I can tell you what we do.
42:34 We review books and programs.
42:36 We have prayer warriors out there.
42:38 We have around 2,500 prayer warriors around the world, not just
42:42 here in Southern Illinois, around the world.
42:45 You...Mexico, I mean we...
42:46 There's thousands of churches in every country and they're hungry
42:50 for 3-A-B-N.
42:52 If someone wants to be a prayer warrior, how can they sign up to be
42:55 a prayer warrior?
42:59 Amen, amen.
43:00 How can they sign up for that?
43:01 Well, you just go to our web page, look under pastoral, script down
43:07 how to become a prayer warrior, 3-A -B-N prayer warrior.
43:10 Needless to say, this is very important to separate the good from
43:14 the bad.
43:15 Each person who wants to be a prayer warrior is vetted.
43:19 So we want to make sure that we have people that we're all on the
43:22 same page that's in love with Jesus.
43:24 And boy, do we need you.
43:26 The Lord loves hearing and He loves our praise.
43:29 And so that's what we're here for.
43:31 This has nothing to do with us.
43:33 You know, I think they call James, camel knees.
43:36 I've heard that, I don't know if that's right or not because he's on
43:38 his knees all the time praying.
43:40 We're looking for camel knees.
43:43 That's what we're looking for.
43:45 We also have...
43:47 We all do special tasks.
43:49 What's a special task?
43:50 Well, it may be proof in the 3-A-B -N magazine that you receive every
43:54 month.
43:55 That's part of our team.
43:57 Story time at the church school.
43:58 We have a church school here that many of our students...
44:02 I mean, Henry was going to...
44:03 I guess he's still going to our church school.
44:06 But there's people...
44:07 So that's one of our tasks.
44:10 Prison ministry.
44:11 Oh my goodness, my goodness.
44:14 They are working hard.
44:15 There's a lot of really hurting people that are behind bars right
44:19 now.
44:22 I know that I would rather be outside and not have anything to do
44:26 rather than be inside and trying to fill that time.
44:30 This last year or this last quarter, this last quarter, 3
44:34 months, we sent out 1,200 Bibles.
44:39 Amen.
44:40 1,200 Bibles.
44:42 And that's not that we're just...
44:45 They request a Bible.
44:47 We have people from all walks of life.
44:51 I'd like to have one of these Bibles.
44:52 This is for prisoners only.
44:54 Those incarcerated.
44:56 We love...
44:57 And so let me just kind of take...
45:00 This last quarter, we're going to talk about quarter and then if you
45:03 want to take that times four, that will kind of give you an annual
45:05 take.
45:06 We took over 2,100 calls.
45:13 Then let's move over here to letters.
45:15 The letters come in.
45:17 These are letters that people are looking for prayer.
45:20 We did over 1,100 of those.
45:24 How much literature did we send out in prison ministries only?
45:29 Well that was 2,600 pieces of mail in addition to the 1,200 Bibles.
45:39 That's incredible.
45:41 Then what's really happening now is that we're beginning...
45:44 People are texters.
45:45 They love to text because they can do that on their private time and
45:48 not get hung up spending all day talking.
45:51 And so this last quarter nearly 300 of those texts.
45:55 That's growing every month.
45:57 YouTube, that's really going.
46:00 More people are sending those all the time.
46:01 And that's a time that we can...
46:04 That we review those and then we can reply.
46:07 You know, Jesus loves you.
46:08 Here's a scripture that goes and fits your issues.
46:11 Last quarter we took over 12,000 contacts calling in to our little
46:20 pastoral department up here, our prison ministry.
46:24 We took over 12,000 contacts.
46:28 Whether that's a piece of literature, a phone call, a prayer
46:31 here, prayer there.
46:32 Now you just take that times four.
46:35 We're talking about 50,000 contacts a year and a little office
46:39 upstairs.
46:46 hurting.
46:46 Their hearts are breaking.
46:48 Sometimes we have wonderful...
46:51 We as a human race have a wonderful life.
46:54 There are many people out there, maybe a misfortune has caught them.
46:59 And where do I go?
47:01 They go to the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords.
47:05 We're just merely little helpers down here.
47:08 Somebody's got to make a phone call.
47:11 Somebody's got to have a kind word, share a scripture.
47:15 There's where we fit in.
47:18 Our priority is answering phone calls.
47:21 Sometimes we're taking hundreds of calls a day sometimes.
47:25 Sometimes it breaks our heart whenever we may not be able to get
47:29 to the next call because we're on a current call.
47:33 Sometimes it's called a trauma center upstairs.
47:37 Because I mean, there's battles being fought there.
47:40 This is not that Jesus made me down to sleep, you know.
47:44 This is, I mean, there's battles that are going on up there.
47:48 And so we're prayed up and that goes back to why we need people
47:53 that are vetted, that loves Jesus and that doesn't mind getting their
47:58 feet dirty and fighting against an enemy.
48:01 That's exactly right.
48:02 So on 25 words plus, that's what we do.
48:07 No, that's great, J.D.
48:08 Thank you for your leadership.
48:09 You've been there for years and thank you so much for your tireless
48:12 effort for the cause of God.
48:13 And you're inspiring because you have a lot of energy and the love
48:16 of Jesus comes out and you like your work.
48:18 That comes out too.
48:20 And it's just neat to see how the Lord has grown you.
48:23 Years ago, you would not have imagined being in the Pastor's
48:25 department and hear God and His timing put you there for such a
48:28 time as this and you're making an impact.
48:30 And I want to go take a little bit of time because we have a number of
48:33 volunteers.
48:35 those people you mentioned are volunteers and we want to go to a
48:38 role here.
48:40 That's a really special role.
48:42 Absolutely.
48:43 Leon is one of our volunteers here.
48:45 And I don't know how often this happens actually.
48:48 I should have been more prepared.
48:49 But we have a veterans' flight and this happens all over the country.
48:53 But they do for retired people who have served, whether it's Army or
48:58 Navy or Air Force or Marines or whatever branch of the military.
49:02 And they fly them to Washington, D .C.
49:06 for an entire day where they can go, they can tour, they can see the
49:10 sites.
49:14 They have a sponsor who goes with them.
49:17 And Leon served in both the Army and the Air Force.
49:22 And he was picked, as it were.
49:24 And selected.
49:26 Selected to be on one of those veterans' flights.
49:28 And we had our crew who was there to meet him when he came off the
49:33 plane.
49:58 All
50:17 right, we've got Army and Air Force Leon Brown.
50:31 The honor flight has landed.
50:33 We have Leon Brown here who was on the honor flight.
50:36 So Leon, how was the experience?
50:38 Amazing.
50:39 That's the only thing I can say.
50:40 It was amazing.
50:42 I've been to D.C.
50:43 many, many times over my lifetime.
50:45 But nothing compares to this.
50:47 Awesome, awesome.
50:48 I love to hear.
50:51 And that sponsor stays, makes sure they get here, makes sure they get
50:54 everywhere, and makes sure they return.
50:56 And this is Leon's sponsor.
50:59 Kevin Reichert.
51:00 Kevin, Kevin, pleasure to meet you.
51:01 How was this experience for you?
51:03 It's a blessing.
51:04 It truly is.
51:06 To finally see, especially these Vietnam guys, getting the true
51:09 welcome home that they deserve.
51:11 And it's just, it's a true blessing.
51:14 So where all did you get to go today, Leon?
51:17 Most of the memorials, we started, I think, for World War II.
51:22 Then we had lunch at FDR Memorial.
51:29 Then we went to Vietnam Memorial.
51:34 I was able to locate a childhood friend of mine.
51:37 We played baseball together when we were young.
51:39 He was killed in Vietnam.
51:41 So I found his name and took a picture of it.
51:45 And the Air Force Memorial is very new, but it is awesome.
51:49 I got pictures of it.
51:52 It's just amazing.
51:54 That's the only thing I can say.
51:56 Awesome, I love to hear it.
51:57 So Leon, I have to ask you, how did it feel when you saw your 3ABN
52:01 family here when you got back?
52:04 Unbelievable.
52:09 The camaraderie at 3ABN, it's like a family.
52:13 And I just feel blessed to be a part of it.
52:18 Amen, amen.
52:18 I love to say that.
52:22 We are family.
52:24 As you can see here, everybody that came to welcome Leon Brown back,
52:27 God bless.
52:30 Amen, amen.
52:32 Amen.
52:34 And again, thank all our veterans.
52:35 We have a number of veterans that are here at 3ABN working or
52:38 volunteering at 3ABN.
52:39 But we again thank the veterans around the world that serve their
52:43 country, countries.
52:44 And Lord, what a blessing that you think about how the Lord has
52:49 protected, you know, and been with these gentlemen and ladies for many
52:53 years and for Leon to go back and actually go to these memorials and
52:56 stuff.
52:59 Amen, where do you want to go to next?
53:01 We only got 4 minutes left.
53:02 We're almost done.
53:07 share whether you want to talk more about camp meeting or about the
53:10 Bible studies or something that's on your heart this evening.
53:14 And JD, we'll start with you.
53:16 Okay, well, if you haven't, we brought up stewardship a while ago.
53:22 Boy, there's nothing better than being a steward for the Lord.
53:25 I don't know if you want to call it payback or whatever.
53:28 You know, like with tithe, boy, we have no problem with paying tithe,
53:32 that's very important to Shelly and I.
53:37 And we have yet to go in the hole.
53:40 You can't out give the Lord.
53:41 You just can't out give him.
53:43 As it is, what I have found, never in a million years what we thought
53:47 we'd have been at 3A being in Southern Illinois.
53:49 You don't leave Texas to go anywhere else.
53:52 But boy, we were impressed and we came here and it's absolutely
53:59 amazing and that you can call the stewardship because of what we all
54:05 do.
54:09 He handles that.
54:11 It's kind of like our responsibility is to sow the seed.
54:15 He's the one that allows the seed to grow.
54:18 And so if we can get that concept in our mind, it takes away a whole
54:22 lot of pressure.
54:23 Oh, I've got to do this, I've got to do that.
54:25 You don't have to do anything.
54:26 You need to show up and be active.
54:28 Be willing to serve the Lord.
54:30 What about you, Daniel?
54:32 Sometimes people ask you what your favorite Bible text is and it's
54:34 kind of hard to narrow it down.
54:36 But one that always comes to mind is Luke 11, 13, that says, if you
54:39 then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how
54:42 much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who
54:46 ask him?
54:50 the activities of 3ABN, but the work of 3ABN is the Holy Spirit's
54:54 work.
54:57 We put something on paper, but the Holy Spirit is bringing the
55:02 conviction and working through it.
55:03 And it's just a privilege to be involved in it, not only with those
55:06 here at the table, but all of you as well.
55:09 That's great, thank you.
55:12 I've watched God for 28 years guide and direct this ministry.
55:17 He's used all of the people to do it, but it's been God's hand that's
55:22 been in charge.
55:28 it's inside too.
55:29 And I've watched God mend people, lots of people here and around the
55:35 world.
55:39 I am so blessed and grateful that God is using me in his ministry.
55:44 Amen.
55:44 Thank you Dee.
55:45 What about you Kelly?
55:47 So the Bible studies, we have a Bible study group that we do every
55:51 Thursday night.
55:56 are just amazing and they're just flow is wonderful and they're just
56:02 a real blessing.
56:03 So, you know, being able, I'm looking forward to the new ones
56:05 that are coming out.
56:06 The second set.
56:07 It's so exciting.
56:09 And then also the abortion book that's coming out.
56:11 I'm excited to see how that goes.
56:14 And you know, yeah.
56:15 All about evangelism.
56:21 that.
56:21 Absolutely.
56:25 meeting.
56:26 So exciting.
56:27 Love to see you there.
56:28 Amen.
56:28 It's good.
56:29 Amen.
56:31 Thank you for being part of the family.
56:33 Love working in ministry together.
56:35 What a privilege it is.
56:36 Not just those here on the set, but everyone behind the camera and
56:40 sitting in their offices.
56:42 And everyone here has a part in spreading the gospel message.
56:46 And that means you at home.
56:48 You are part of our 3ABN family.
56:52 We love you.
56:53 We pray for you.
56:54 Thank you for joining hands together because together we can
56:58 finish the work and go home.
57:00 We will see you next time.
