projects. You know, I just as

went to, you know, we did some

sidewalks, cold outreach
and, you know, on the street and

at a section that complex. And,

things. And and it ended up

evolving into a lot of young
people helping in all these

areas. And one of the areas
that I I was gravitated to the

most was serving the
unsheltered population, people

experiencing homelessness. And,

you know, I think part of the
reason why gravitated toward it

so much is when I was younger.
When I was 20 years old,

I experience homelessness
myself. So I I lived in the

car. I was in Chicago's in the
middle of winter. And it was it

was it was tough, you know, but
not having a a place to go take

a shower and I go to 7.11,
bathrooms and clean up real

quick and I couldn't do
laundry. You know, I have to do

that in the bathroom somehow,
too, with some soap and water

and try to make that
work. I was going to the Mexican

restaurants, eating the free
chips and salsa and leaving,

you know, because I I couldn't
I couldn't afford the food.

So it was a it was a it was
a really at the time before it

was a Christian. I
didn't really know why I was

like what is happening to me.

them through that process from

We had to guess that was was

moving along. Things were going

well, he's he got a job.
And overnight while he was

sleeping, he got hit by a
car was paralyzed from the neck

down. And so his whole world
turned upside down right by our

special cares. He went to
the hospital. They were visiting

with him, you know, continuing
that relationship because this

we're not in it. There's no
ulterior motive for what we're

doing, right. We just want
to show that genuine love to the

people we serve and released
exemplify who Christ is right.

our special care team may also

prison. You know, sometimes

it. There's just so many reasons

He became part of the family.

pain. They couldn't walk anymore

come to the hospital.

And he the doctor told him
he only had a few weeks to live.

He was diagnosed with stage
4 lung cancer that metastasized

and spread to his his hip.
And that's why he was limping.

And, you know, when we when
we start to work with us, we

actually ended his
homelessness. You know, he's in

working with a son.

we prayed with him and he's

earlier, he started studies

when he got there. And we were
