[MUSIC] 00:00:00.26\00:00:04.90 [MUSIC] 00:00:04.90\00:00:10.34 >> Welcome back to the second hour of this marvelous program 00:00:10.34\00:00:14.71 core. The vandalism school we're talking with pastor the 00:00:14.71\00:00:17.55 Casper. We have brother Ethan here. And we also have aland 00:00:17.55\00:00:21.08 that are going to share wonderful things that God has 00:00:21.08\00:00:23.69 done in their learning process, but also in hands on. And also, 00:00:23.69\00:00:29.02 you know, the personal relationship with Jesus Christ, 00:00:29.02\00:00:33.56 emphasis of core of end of the school is just marvelous to 00:00:33.56\00:00:36.60 hear that so well. 00:00:36.60\00:00:39.10 >> We have D the director of Korea mental asylum and 00:00:39.10\00:00:44.71 you've been at it since 2018. Yeah. And a person who felt the 00:00:44.71\00:00:50.78 call to 00:00:50.78\00:00:52.71 launch into a school of evangelism in not knowing what 00:00:52.71\00:00:56.35 to do but leaning under the guidance of the Lloyd. And here 00:00:56.35\00:01:01.42 we are to celebrate the SEC accomplishments. We have to 00:01:01.42\00:01:05.43 graduates from in the core event, some school to testify 00:01:05.43\00:01:10.93 about the not only the program but also what it does to your 00:01:10.93\00:01:15.34 personal life. So pray samoyed for among yeah, Kuz right next 00:01:15.34\00:01:20.88 to me right here and even Carpenter. Thank you for 00:01:20.88\00:01:24.48 sticking with us. The second hour and also D. How do you 00:01:24.48\00:01:28.98 feel now that you have seen the Lord guiding and providing now 00:01:28.98\00:01:34.99 there are new plants in new material that you want to share 00:01:34.99\00:01:39.76 with the world. So please. 00:01:39.76\00:01:42.06 >> Spill the beans. But yeah, well, it's a I mean, it's 00:01:42.06\00:01:46.13 heartwarming just to see. And it's humbling to see what 00:01:46.13\00:01:49.07 God has done for over 50 young adults since we started 5 years 00:01:49.07\00:01:53.91 ago. It's been incredible and so are our burning conviction. 00:01:53.91\00:01:58.85 Is we want more people to have this experience. Yeah. And so 00:01:58.85\00:02:02.08 young people are still invited. We're just expanding the tent 00:02:02.08\00:02:04.89 stakes in the age range, too. Any 18 year-old adults and over 00:02:04.89\00:02:09.72 and so even mature adults can come. There's lodging, on-site 00:02:09.72\00:02:12.96 soul. We're on the same campus as Blue Mountain Academy. 00:02:12.96\00:02:15.86 And so there's dorm rooms accessible to us. The academy's 00:02:15.86\00:02:19.47 one side of the dorm. They have open rooms in the other side of 00:02:19.47\00:02:22.14 the dorm. So we use those and the evening cafeteria. And the 00:02:22.14\00:02:25.64 conference office is on the campus, our classrooms there, 00:02:25.64\00:02:28.58 our offices are there. And so it's expanded now to 00:02:28.58\00:02:32.18 international students. It's open to all adults. It's 00:02:32.18\00:02:36.15 shorter. So it's less of a time commitment that you have to 00:02:36.15\00:02:38.49 make. And it's also less expensive and soul. We're doing 00:02:38.49\00:02:42.52 what we can to make it as attractive and accessible as 00:02:42.52\00:02:44.89 possible. And then my wife and I have also taken a call to 00:02:44.89\00:02:48.46 Pastor 2 churches in Pennsylvania and soul. He's 00:02:48.46\00:02:51.53 also busy. So we will oversee the program, but day-to-day 00:02:51.53\00:02:54.70 operations. We have some great staff that are coming in that 00:02:54.70\00:02:56.94 will do that. So also do some teaching. So my wife will have 00:02:56.94\00:03:01.88 the students working in our churches will be around a lot. 00:03:01.88\00:03:04.61 So it's great, but it's a cool that we're expanding and 00:03:04.61\00:03:07.32 growing what's happening in Seoul, the same principles that 00:03:07.32\00:03:09.85 core teaches to students to take back to their local 00:03:09.85\00:03:13.59 churches. We will be using in churches in the Pennsylvania 00:03:13.59\00:03:16.52 Conference as pastors and will have students that come 00:03:16.52\00:03:20.96 alongside us in that journey, the man. So for those who want 00:03:20.96\00:03:24.87 who still want that extended disciple ship of 9 months that 00:03:24.87\00:03:28.64 we have been having for the first 5 years, it's still an 00:03:28.64\00:03:31.51 option. So you'll graduate just before Thanksgiving and starts 00:03:31.51\00:03:35.41 August 18. You graduate November 17, like a week before 00:03:35.41\00:03:38.75 Thanksgiving. And then you've got some time off until the new 00:03:38.75\00:03:42.12 year. And if you're interested in organic agriculture or or 00:03:42.12\00:03:45.72 medical missionary work or hygiene and cooking vegan 00:03:45.72\00:03:48.12 cooking, we're developing a partnership with Even Valley 00:03:48.12\00:03:50.93 Institute. So people can be able to have that opportunity 00:03:50.93\00:03:54.73 and we'll still disciple them from afar. So we'll call them 00:03:54.73\00:03:57.93 to meet with them once a week or every 2 weeks. Pray with 00:03:57.93\00:04:00.64 them, figure out what's going well, what's not going? Well, 00:04:00.64\00:04:03.24 we'll be continuing. Education classes will take and they're 00:04:03.24\00:04:06.44 continuing their professional development, which is really 00:04:06.44\00:04:08.98 Cool X. And we've built a partnership with the Abide 00:04:08.98\00:04:12.11 Network. This doctor Jennifer Jill Schwarzer's ministry and 00:04:12.11\00:04:15.72 our students are receiving mental health coaching training 00:04:15.72\00:04:19.35 so they can become mental health coaches. My wife just 00:04:19.35\00:04:21.46 launched a mental health coaching business. I'm doing 00:04:21.46\00:04:23.86 this very thing and it's incredibly powerful news. 00:04:23.86\00:04:26.16 Rich Blessing fact. Doctor Jennifer Jill teaches next week 00:04:26.16\00:04:29.06 for us for that. And I'm so we've built that into the 00:04:29.06\00:04:32.77 curriculum. So lots more professional development is 00:04:32.77\00:04:35.57 being offered as well. And some people think like with the 00:04:35.57\00:04:38.67 school like this tie, like I don't feel called to be a 00:04:38.67\00:04:41.21 pastor. A Bible worker doesn't matter. You have to be a pastor 00:04:41.21\00:04:45.11 by worker to come to court. Allen is in real estate and he 00:04:45.11\00:04:49.08 is taking that those gifts and talents that he's developed and 00:04:49.08\00:04:52.52 he's brought them into the work. He's doing any also aside 00:04:52.52\00:04:55.52 projects he's doing in ministry now as a result of that, 00:04:55.52\00:04:57.73 the starting a halfway house and a teen center, which is 00:04:57.73\00:05:01.70 really excited to tell us about that. Yeah, so we'll hear more 00:05:01.70\00:05:04.73 about that in just a little bit. And so, but it is going on 00:05:04.73\00:05:07.90 the Bible working potentially pastoral ministry in Seoul. 00:05:07.90\00:05:10.91 It's there's different tracks for different folks. So avenue, 00:05:10.91\00:05:15.34 just 00:05:15.34\00:05:16.88 4 missions are avid S a AFM avon's frontier. We've we're 00:05:16.88\00:05:22.72 working on an agreement with them that our graduates can go 00:05:22.72\00:05:26.42 into the mission field even so if they feel after they lay 00:05:26.42\00:05:28.92 that foundation with core, that's another opportunity. 00:05:28.92\00:05:32.09 If you want to be a pastor revival worker, you can shadow 00:05:32.09\00:05:34.96 of pastor while by working in go to school next. So you have 00:05:34.96\00:05:38.33 to not go to school. If you come to court to spend those 13 00:05:38.33\00:05:41.64 weeks, maybe an additional 6 months, get right back in 00:05:41.64\00:05:44.61 school and continue your journey. And so we're really 00:05:44.61\00:05:47.18 excited about this next step and we would love for more 00:05:47.18\00:05:50.81 people to have the experience. That's what we've done. It 00:05:50.81\00:05:53.55 praise the Lord. 00:05:53.55\00:05:54.68 >> Now I think we'll say that's not maybe at the end this. 00:05:54.68\00:05:57.42 Well, you mentioned during the break, something. 00:05:57.42\00:06:00.56 >> Free on the Web site. Yes, free. Yes. About the 00:06:00.56\00:06:04.06 everybody loves free. So we're in the process of getting core 00:06:04.06\00:06:07.86 online available to people. So if you can't come in person 00:06:07.86\00:06:11.47 to a process, we're finishing but are 3 angels messages class 00:06:11.47\00:06:15.20 were offering for free? Anybody can take it. Your brain is a 00:06:53.78\00:06:55.64 bit more fresh. New start first thing in the morning. Haman. 00:06:55.64\00:06:59.61 Very good. 00:06:59.61\00:07:00.82 >> Well, I would like to invite you all to just admire the 00:07:00.82\00:07:06.86 message inside and they know it's going to be an 00:07:06.86\00:07:10.29 instrumental interpretation of this message that is so 00:07:10.29\00:07:14.46 intense. And if you would like to 00:11:21.08\00:11:24.61 invite him to one of your offensive end of this campaign 00:11:24.61\00:11:27.82 week, a prayer, we need to have a concert. He saw a person that 00:11:27.82\00:11:32.12 loves to share about the Lord and he's got a wonderful 00:11:32.12\00:11:35.09 testimony as well. That's right. So you can find him on 00:11:35.09\00:11:38.79 Facebook or contact us at 3ABN will share that information 00:11:38.79\00:11:41.73 with you. So I have been tense of a new kind of in 00:11:41.73\00:11:44.10 Pennsylvania. He was just 2 churches near us recently. 00:11:44.10\00:11:47.97 Excellent and interesting because we were somewhere 00:11:47.97\00:11:51.64 traveling one time and we heard that he was in the area as 00:11:51.64\00:11:53.84 well. He goes, he gets around. Thanks so much for that. 00:11:53.84\00:11:57.95 Well, so we heard something about a halfway house and the 00:11:57.95\00:12:00.68 Lord a leading you to do that. Can you tell us about that 00:12:00.68\00:12:04.22 island? Yes, so I really did not want to leave core last 00:12:04.22\00:12:07.26 year. But haha on our spring break. I was praying to God. 00:12:07.26\00:12:11.89 I said, what do I do after core 00:12:11.89\00:12:15.50 and seems like at Home Sohn said, hey, you know, open up a 00:12:15.50\00:12:19.87 halfway house and then 2 more people. The same day that I got 00:12:19.87\00:12:24.04 home said, hey, you need to open up. A halfway house has 00:12:24.04\00:12:26.34 sent a hand. I actually talked to someone then. 00:12:26.34\00:12:29.04 >> And they said that the the whole nation is in need of 00:12:29.04\00:12:32.85 faith-based halfway houses for people to live together in a 00:12:32.85\00:12:36.35 Christian community that they can just grow together in faith 00:12:36.35\00:12:40.69 and be good. 00:12:40.69\00:12:42.42 And so I really took that partly because I have a real 00:12:42.42\00:12:45.59 estate backgrounds like, like, you know what, I can do that 00:12:45.59\00:12:48.26 because I can build houses and remodeled. And and I can 00:12:48.26\00:12:53.23 minister to him, too, because I want to do not just to real 00:12:53.23\00:12:56.17 estate, but I now want to do also ministry in my 00:12:56.17\00:12:58.97 professional life and a man prays to Lord. Yes, what is the 00:12:58.97\00:13:03.24 plan with the halfway house who can be there? So for my first 00:13:03.24\00:13:06.61 house, I'm going to be there. I'm going to the manager and 00:13:06.61\00:13:09.12 then I'm going expand. And then they have other managers for 00:13:09.12\00:13:12.42 each of the house is what I'm going to start in North Central 00:13:12.42\00:13:15.02 West Virginia, where I'm from and then hopefully expand to 00:13:15.02\00:13:17.99 other states, accessible praise the Lord. 00:13:17.99\00:13:21.13 >> Theresa Mud. Now this is different because this halfway 00:13:21.13\00:13:24.63 house that is a Christian base. Yes. So what are what is that 00:13:24.63\00:13:28.67 like? The the program like? So the program? 00:13:28.67\00:13:32.07 >> They're going to go to pretty much church services 00:13:32.07\00:13:35.28 okay, every week. And also they have to go to celebrate 00:13:35.28\00:13:38.58 recovery, which is a faith-based recovery program, 00:13:38.58\00:13:41.88 OK? And they're going to be have to go to that at least 00:13:41.88\00:13:44.65 once or twice a week. And there's also a work 00:13:44.65\00:13:47.22 requirement. And then they also have to just not get any 00:13:47.22\00:13:50.83 trouble at all came very good. 00:13:50.83\00:13:53.80 >> And this is just type of surfaces. Our offer to what 00:13:53.80\00:13:57.97 type of? Yes. 00:13:57.97\00:13:59.30 >> So mainly people who are coming out of prison or 00:13:59.30\00:14:02.20 recovery services, or does anyone who just wants to remain 00:14:02.20\00:14:06.14 in a house that without any alcohol being used to just like 00:14:06.14\00:14:11.08 a good house and that that they can pretty much I have brothers 00:14:11.08\00:14:15.48 that they can grow together with and just have have good 00:14:15.48\00:14:20.62 wholesome fellowship with each other and just get through this 00:14:20.62\00:14:23.89 life, knowing that Jesus loves them and that will do anything 00:14:23.89\00:14:27.76 from that. We can just all support each other, the man to 00:14:27.76\00:14:30.30 man an employee to lie. Even we heard about awesome testimony 00:14:30.30\00:14:34.47 that you're going to share with us. Please go ahead. Sure. 00:14:34.47\00:14:37.74 So from the program, I think the one us referring to earlier 00:14:37.74\00:14:43.85 there was a lady that I studied with this last year, which was 00:14:43.85\00:14:48.15 the result of 00:14:48.15\00:14:50.02 previous work. 00:14:50.02\00:14:51.69 I'm one of the 00:14:51.69\00:14:54.46 >> outreach instructors and helpers in the program is a 00:14:54.46\00:14:57.39 mess. Isaiah. He was a student at core a couple of years ago 00:14:57.39\00:15:03.50 when he was canvassing who knocked on the ladies Dr. 00:15:03.50\00:15:07.94 It went from just a book to Bible study, could got a I 00:15:07.94\00:15:12.57 think she got a sense of crisis. And then after that was 00:15:12.57\00:15:15.11 interested in Bible studies, he studied with her. But after the 00:15:15.11\00:15:19.18 program, she had not made a decision, you know, for a 00:15:19.18\00:15:23.18 fuller understanding of Christ, right? And and so I was at the 00:15:23.18\00:15:27.42 program and Isaiah told me he said 00:15:27.42\00:15:31.06 there's this Lady, Jacqueline, 00:15:31.06\00:15:32.86 I I think, should be open to studying more. She was really 00:15:32.86\00:15:35.80 excited about what we were studying mom, but we didn't, 00:15:35.80\00:15:39.27 you know, get to a decision point. And so myself and my my 00:15:39.27\00:15:44.01 study partner, we reached out to her. We're like, hey, 00:15:44.01\00:15:48.14 we're doing studies. Do you like to study with us? And she 00:15:48.14\00:15:51.58 was like absolutely loved. The study also raises. And so 00:15:51.58\00:15:55.55 we studied with her. And then we had an evangelistic series. 00:15:55.55\00:16:01.16 We invited her to the evangelistic series. She came 00:16:01.16\00:16:03.59 to that as well. And she had at that point, I believe she had 00:16:03.59\00:16:09.03 made a decision for baptism. She wanted to get that highest. 00:16:09.03\00:16:12.77 But obviously when you start to learn new things yet to get a 00:16:12.77\00:16:18.34 brand new conception of the Bible, there is many things 00:16:18.34\00:16:21.48 that you may need to learn before you fully make that 00:16:21.48\00:16:24.51 decision and get baptize me. And so after the program, 00:16:24.51\00:16:29.68 she continued to get disciple ship from the local church, 00:16:29.68\00:16:33.39 which was, I think, really special because, again, we see 00:16:33.39\00:16:36.32 that process of one person to the next to the next of 00:16:36.32\00:16:40.50 disabling. Yes. And as by workers as people who are 00:16:40.50\00:16:44.47 disciple wing, 00:16:44.47\00:16:45.97 it's really, really important for us not to just disciple 00:16:45.97\00:16:49.77 people, but to, you know, work with a local church to 00:16:49.77\00:16:53.54 encourage them, the other church members in the church to 00:16:53.54\00:16:56.75 continue with that stifling. And ultimately because of all 00:16:56.75\00:17:01.15 of those links in that chain of events that she just got 00:17:01.15\00:17:04.69 baptized a couple of months ago, quite a lot. 00:17:04.69\00:17:08.52 >> We're also planting the seeds seen, you know, the Lord 00:17:08.52\00:17:12.33 gives the the increase. So it takes a village so many. 00:17:12.33\00:17:18.77 I received a letter from one of our viewers and a one of the 00:17:18.77\00:17:23.71 network's one of the 10 network's Street pm Half 00:17:23.71\00:17:26.84 history being Latino and they have Spanish programming. 00:17:26.84\00:17:30.68 And this mother and this daughter, adult daughter were 00:17:30.68\00:17:34.15 watching 03:00PM and Latino and Davis at the first church. 00:17:34.15\00:17:39.29 So they they were like so excited about this in the first 00:17:39.29\00:17:45.26 church and because they have learned so many things that 00:17:45.26\00:17:48.80 Michael foot truths in the Bible. But when they went to 00:17:48.80\00:17:51.97 the change, they say they were not welcomed in. It was a cold. 00:17:51.97\00:17:57.41 Everybody was senior clerics in and what not to make said, 00:17:57.41\00:18:01.38 give it another chance to give it another try. And I visited 00:18:01.38\00:18:05.45 them and long story short. They went back and it was 00:18:05.45\00:18:09.22 totally different to his site. So welcoming and everything. 00:18:09.22\00:18:12.82 But Satan wants to discourage right. But the church decided 00:18:12.82\00:18:17.19 to nurture these people see and they are there today. And the 00:18:17.19\00:18:21.80 happened baptized today, man. So praise the Lord for those 00:18:21.80\00:18:26.10 stories. A man praise the Lord. 00:18:26.10\00:18:28.20 >> Something I'd like to share on that point is when when 00:18:28.20\00:18:32.34 you're in a church, you know, I think we've all heard the 00:18:32.34\00:18:34.94 stories of people going to a church and it wasn't a good 00:18:34.94\00:18:37.75 experience, right? They felt like it was cold. My experience 00:18:37.75\00:18:41.18 has been that a lot of times. It only takes one or 2 people 00:18:41.18\00:18:45.09 to make that difference between whether it's a cold church or 00:18:45.09\00:18:48.49 warm. And so if you can be, you know, for our viewers at home, 00:18:48.49\00:18:53.23 you can be that person. Is that warming foot to make someone 00:18:53.23\00:18:57.10 else? Those are really warm church right now. Maybe it was 00:18:57.10\00:19:00.77 just one person, a person who is warm for maybe 2 people. 00:19:00.77\00:19:04.54 3 people write, you get that perception just from a couple. 00:19:04.54\00:19:08.64 >> We've got a world famous creator. One of my church is 00:19:08.64\00:19:11.25 just a lovely human beings teams, teddy, just the sweetest 00:19:11.25\00:19:14.72 guy. When someone comes in, he is so happy. You're there wants 00:19:14.72\00:19:18.69 to make sure you're well cared for and makes a big difference. 00:19:18.69\00:19:22.42 >> A man who defame and but I can see how core evangelism 00:19:22.42\00:19:26.39 school yeas is actually a a team for the local church. 00:19:26.39\00:19:31.97 Yeah, I mean, because 00:19:31.97\00:19:34.37 we all as the commitments and obligations of the everyday 00:19:34.37\00:19:39.37 life, we can't be, you know, doing the follow up every day 00:19:39.37\00:19:43.41 like a core. Eventually some students do. So they do the in 00:19:43.41\00:19:48.58 introduction and they do the work they to the Bible studies 00:19:48.58\00:19:52.39 and then they bring other people from the local churches 00:19:52.39\00:19:55.49 to be friend. That person, a new form, a family that takes 00:19:55.49\00:19:59.36 me back to the halfway house that when you come in, you take 00:19:59.36\00:20:03.40 these people in and these people, they're coming out of 00:20:03.40\00:20:07.60 press or she's simply need a family environment of the 00:20:07.60\00:20:12.57 Brotherhood, the sense of belonging, and that opens up 00:20:12.57\00:20:17.48 their heights to hear more about Christ. 00:20:17.48\00:20:21.12 >> So pretty. And that's what courted for me. Because when I 00:20:21.12\00:20:23.92 came in, they took me in as family and I felt like his 00:20:23.92\00:20:26.55 family priest. Yeah, like I did not want to leave cells like 00:20:26.55\00:20:29.82 Manuel there go another year or I create this environment for 00:20:29.82\00:20:33.86 myself and have my own disciples. And so I felt like 00:20:33.86\00:20:37.20 God was really saying, hey, you know, you just need to get out 00:20:37.20\00:20:39.57 there and do it. And so that's what that's what I'm doing. 00:20:39.57\00:20:42.60 And I'm on to make disciples. And I want to create the 00:20:42.60\00:20:44.97 atmosphere that we can on the increase. They've been asked a 00:20:44.97\00:20:47.98 second time. I hear him here, Allan, say that I did not want 00:20:47.98\00:20:51.05 to leave. That's a I don't know how you can get a better and 00:20:51.05\00:20:53.21 our side. Well, in another endorsement as we've had 00:20:53.21\00:20:56.45 multiple siblings go through the program. So we've had one 00:20:56.45\00:20:59.95 person come into their siblings. Like all I want to 00:20:59.95\00:21:02.16 come, that's happened. Our first year someone came and 00:21:02.16\00:21:06.39 their siblings saw the change in their siblings and they came 00:21:06.39\00:21:10.00 happened a second time. And then some came at the same time 00:21:10.00\00:21:13.97 with 5 people from my wife's church come at the same time. 00:21:13.97\00:21:16.74 We basically stole the whole. You know, you don't. They came 00:21:16.74\00:21:20.04 and got rain bike or in someone's back. My wife stayed 00:21:20.04\00:21:23.28 with me, but with that, but the relationship started after the 00:21:23.28\00:21:28.55 program. But Horton said clear and carry on. But yes, so those 00:21:28.55\00:21:34.36 we've seen that a lot. And so we had one story of a young man 00:21:34.36\00:21:38.16 came as a median turn. And we we had him involved in outreach 00:21:38.16\00:21:43.90 in classes and stuff, too. And his life was so 00:21:43.90\00:21:46.84 dramatically change that his dad started to experience 00:21:46.84\00:21:49.67 revival. It was getting Bible studies to people and doing 00:21:49.67\00:21:53.61 literature outreach. So he's, you know, more and more mature 00:21:53.61\00:21:55.88 adult who works for university. And he's out giving out free 00:21:55.88\00:21:59.15 controversies in San Bernardino, alongside college 00:21:59.15\00:22:01.52 students because the revival that this an experienced and so 00:22:01.52\00:22:05.35 they have quadruplets, the son was one of them threat. And one 00:22:05.35\00:22:08.96 of the sisters decided to come because of the changes on her 00:22:08.96\00:22:11.96 brother behind him. And now she's on fire for ministry. 00:22:11.96\00:22:15.43 She came the same year that Ethan Allen came and it's on 00:22:15.43\00:22:18.93 fire for the Lord in a spin. That's been a big endorsement 00:22:18.93\00:22:21.84 to us that people don't want to leave for one in 2 because 00:22:21.84\00:22:25.04 usually, you know, like siblings like if my brother or 00:22:25.04\00:22:27.11 my sister didn't like, I want to do it right is what if it's 00:22:27.11\00:22:30.18 changing their life so dramatically that they want to. 00:22:30.18\00:22:33.48 And we're seeing multiple families experience reliable 00:22:33.48\00:22:36.02 source earring because we have a big emphasis on mental health 00:22:36.02\00:22:39.79 as our students are beginning to experience healing and grow 00:22:39.79\00:22:43.19 and learn things. Yeah, the fascinating to me is we're 00:22:43.19\00:22:46.36 seeing stories and we're hearing stories that their own 00:22:46.36\00:22:49.13 families making intentional decisions to get therapy, 00:22:49.13\00:22:52.07 to work their processes, to experience reconciliation and 00:22:52.07\00:22:55.17 so forth. It's been so cool that not only is revival 00:22:55.17\00:22:58.61 becoming contagious, but even he leaves becoming wages race 00:22:58.61\00:23:02.88 to lull because of this gospel emphasis of righteousness by 00:23:02.88\00:23:06.08 faith and mental health altogether. It's leading to 00:23:06.08\00:23:08.88 real change in in significant ways and is reviving churches 00:23:08.88\00:23:13.25 to lower. Now you mention the the mental health aspect. 00:23:13.25\00:23:17.09 Do you see that some need Torre court to do that? Absolutely. 00:23:17.09\00:23:21.06 I mean, it was a big need in my own life personally, which is 00:23:21.06\00:23:23.33 kind of why I got incorporated into just my own preaching and 00:23:23.33\00:23:26.23 teaching ministry. But again and going all these different 00:23:26.23\00:23:29.70 academies, there are so many questions and issues of dealing 00:23:29.70\00:23:32.21 with anxiety and depression and loneliness and discouragement 00:23:32.21\00:23:35.81 and having unhealthy views of God and the views of 00:23:35.81\00:23:38.68 themselves. And so I just felt like it would be important for 00:23:38.68\00:23:42.08 us to incorporate all of these principles together because the 00:23:42.08\00:23:45.79 topic of mental health is not something that's like 00:23:45.79\00:23:48.79 secular in karnal and worldly. God cares about her feelings 00:23:48.79\00:23:54.83 cares about our emotions. God cares about our ability to 00:23:54.83\00:23:58.60 think true. Thoughts in the clink clearly called the spirit 00:23:58.60\00:24:02.07 of truth. Yes. And I say he says the whole head is sick, 00:24:02.07\00:24:05.64 right? And that we've taken refuge in lies. Isaiah 61 when 00:24:05.64\00:24:10.08 Jesus announces he's calling in Luke Chapter 4 in the temple. 00:24:10.08\00:24:14.32 The hand of the scroll of Isaiah. The first thing Jesus 00:24:14.32\00:24:17.35 turns to his eyes is 61 and says the spirit of the Lord. 00:24:17.35\00:24:20.92 God is upon me to preach good tidings to the poor, to heal 00:24:20.92\00:24:24.36 the broken-hearted us set the captives free to get in the oil 00:24:24.36\00:24:27.86 of joy for morning. Yeah. And the spirit of of of debt of 00:24:27.86\00:24:32.13 gratitude for the spirit of heaviness and to proclaim the 00:24:32.13\00:24:35.07 acceptable year. The Lord Jesus is announcement was I came here 00:24:35.07\00:24:38.87 to heal people. Yes of their broken hearts of their 00:24:38.87\00:24:41.71 loneliness. Other discouragement and I came to 00:24:41.71\00:24:45.01 proclaim acceptable year. The Lord, as we mentioned 00:24:45.01\00:24:47.25 earlier, there are many people calling 3ABN who don't have 00:24:47.25\00:24:50.32 assurance of Salvation. Yes, Jesus came to proclaim the 00:24:50.32\00:24:53.89 acceptable year of the Lord that we are excepted in the 00:24:53.89\00:24:57.19 beloved ephesians one. And so for us, we feel like these 00:24:57.19\00:25:00.46 things are inseparable that the 3 angels messages, right, 00:25:00.46\00:25:04.33 assist by faith and mental health. These all have overlap. 00:25:04.33\00:25:07.80 It's not some side. We're tangents. They all are arment 00:25:07.80\00:25:11.44 together. The latest in a message, the root issue, 00:25:11.44\00:25:14.68 the latest. The message is you're miserable. You can see 00:25:14.68\00:25:17.65 it. You're not who you think you are emotionally 00:25:17.65\00:25:20.72 psychologically, spiritually and otherwise. And you need 00:25:20.72\00:25:23.45 counseling the testimony. The true witness is you need 00:25:23.45\00:25:26.25 counseling. And so our goal and our objective is to help people 00:25:26.25\00:25:29.59 see who they really are, who God really is and to give them 00:25:29.59\00:25:33.29 tools to appropriately handle these issues in the biblical 00:25:33.29\00:25:37.83 fashion because sometimes we just say the most ridiculous 00:25:37.83\00:25:41.27 things will just pray harder and have more faith in the new 00:25:41.27\00:25:44.87 person is going to go away while we don't tell people to 00:25:44.87\00:25:47.14 pray away a broken leg, we tell them to go see a doctor. 00:25:47.14\00:25:49.74 We don't tell people to have more faith when they have a 00:25:49.74\00:25:52.38 stomach ulcer. We tell them to go see a gee, I dark rye. 00:25:52.38\00:25:56.32 It's okay for someone to see a biblical counselor to help the 00:25:56.32\00:26:00.29 work through how the human mind works to receive healing in 00:26:00.29\00:26:02.79 road work through that, then our ministers should be 00:26:02.79\00:26:05.83 informed in these topics. And so we're developing 00:26:05.83\00:26:08.70 emotionally intelligent cry centered missionaries who will 00:26:08.70\00:26:12.43 go in all forms of ministry man is making a big impact, 00:26:12.43\00:26:15.84 students or or or 00:26:15.84\00:26:16.94 >> growing tremendously as result of a man, you mentioned 00:26:16.94\00:26:20.38 different students to have gone different places that tell us 00:26:20.38\00:26:24.48 about 00:26:24.48\00:26:25.78 the first wave of students and their experience and where did 00:26:25.78\00:26:28.92 they go and what are they doing? Certainly, yeah, we 00:26:28.92\00:26:30.95 have. So one of the people is in year one. 00:26:30.95\00:26:33.59 >> He went from core to eventually help with the byword 00:26:33.59\00:26:38.39 preparations for it is written. And so in Minnesota, he was 00:26:38.39\00:26:41.83 helping to prepare churches all around the conference to do 00:26:41.83\00:26:44.77 evangelism that eventually got her b***, Oklahoma Conference 00:26:44.77\00:26:48.04 of our board coordinator there. And now he's a pastor who also 00:26:48.04\00:26:51.61 Courtney Survival work side of things. We have students who 00:26:51.61\00:26:55.21 are just they went back to schools to summer, studying to 00:26:55.21\00:26:57.48 be teachers. One of our former students works in media. 00:26:57.48\00:27:01.15 It is written. That's all from your one. We've got people who 00:27:01.15\00:27:04.52 are photographers, nurses, videographers of multiple 00:27:04.52\00:27:08.66 people studying to be pastors. Even Sarah, a Allen is in real 00:27:08.66\00:27:13.96 estate. So we have a broad net of what people do when they 00:27:13.96\00:27:17.43 finish. One of our graduates last actually 2 of our 00:27:17.43\00:27:19.53 graduates from 2 separate years, one from last year and 00:27:19.53\00:27:23.41 that girl, his brother's life was changing. She decided to 00:27:23.41\00:27:25.87 come. She went intended vetch if that's an avid this culinary 00:27:25.87\00:27:29.51 school in Norway and at the same year that she went to that 00:27:29.51\00:27:33.01 one of our student from 2 years ago joined her. And so one of 00:27:33.01\00:27:36.52 those students is even valley running, helping to learn about 00:27:36.52\00:27:39.45 hygiene and cooking and the other girl. She's an Australia 00:27:39.45\00:27:42.59 working at the center of influence with her with her 00:27:42.59\00:27:45.66 experience. So it's your your track is not limited. When you 00:27:45.66\00:27:48.86 come to court, you have to be a pastor. You can do anything for 00:27:48.86\00:27:52.30 Jesus and now you have the skills to do. So the man, 00:27:52.30\00:27:55.44 a man. 00:27:55.44\00:27:56.87 >> I think that the mental health is very important 00:27:56.87\00:27:59.61 because a lot of people say your question, how could you be 00:27:59.61\00:28:03.08 depressed? Your question, how could you be discouraged? 00:28:03.08\00:28:06.58 So we're a question. Why are you in just about the Bible 00:28:06.58\00:28:09.78 says the interests over nothing, you know, not even the 00:28:09.78\00:28:13.69 birds in the air worry about anything. So why are you 00:28:13.69\00:28:16.22 worrying? So we have a lack of training, if you will, in these 00:28:16.22\00:28:22.63 areas. And some may think I'm here the mental health. Well, 00:28:22.63\00:28:28.47 it's been talked about across the board 00:28:28.47\00:28:32.41 in the world, not just in the United States of America, 00:28:32.41\00:28:36.18 and it doesn't need that needs to be tended to. I can 00:28:36.18\00:28:40.18 understand how a healthy mind is a healthy heart and you can 00:28:40.18\00:28:44.85 focus in the things that 00:28:44.85\00:28:48.46 you know that are important. But we are called to do so. 00:28:48.46\00:28:52.66 When you go to these program, you have an MOU program. 00:28:52.66\00:28:56.26 That is 6 weeks, 13 weeks, 13 ways. Okay. So you call for the 00:28:56.26\00:29:01.84 mental health as well in those 13 weeks. 00:29:01.84\00:29:05.41 >> Still cover the AVMA some s it we still deal with mental 00:29:05.41\00:29:07.71 health. So we're trimming the program down from 300 hours 00:29:07.71\00:29:10.78 curriculum, 230. So we still have a majority of the 00:29:10.78\00:29:14.85 curriculum. Students can often buy access to the additional 00:29:14.85\00:29:19.12 files that they want to. That's an option. Students who 00:29:19.12\00:29:22.26 do the internship track will go through that remaining part of 00:29:22.26\00:29:25.36 the curriculum just by being in terms because we'll have 00:29:25.36\00:29:28.66 continuing education. That's part of it. 00:29:28.66\00:29:30.70 And so, yeah, people will still get the full experience of the 00:29:30.70\00:29:34.37 mental health coaching process, the the training for that is 00:29:34.37\00:29:37.07 built into the curriculum. And so, yeah, we deal with the 00:29:37.07\00:29:39.94 ominous message, practical ministry and mental health all 00:29:39.94\00:29:44.38 at the same time. It's all in all incorporated, even just the 00:29:44.38\00:29:47.42 way that we address certain classes, those teams are woven. 00:29:47.42\00:29:49.92 And so as I mentioned, my wife is a mental health coach. 00:29:49.92\00:29:52.52 She started her own business to do that and is creating 00:29:52.52\00:29:55.19 resources, says she's done a book-in other things and it's 00:29:55.19\00:29:58.43 creating classes and doing webinars to help people learn 00:29:58.43\00:30:01.23 how to do that is somewhat she's teaching in that process. 00:30:01.23\00:30:04.40 She shares with her students think sometimes we do worship 00:30:04.40\00:30:06.97 with him on that and we counsel, we work with our 00:30:06.97\00:30:09.54 students. So we spend a lot of time. You're asking that the 00:30:09.54\00:30:12.47 differences earlier were very intentional and spending 00:30:12.47\00:30:15.54 quality time with her students to help them work their story. 00:30:15.54\00:30:18.98 Whatever issues come up when we needed to know to administer 00:30:18.98\00:30:21.38 discipline, we don't just get your act together. You need to 00:30:21.38\00:30:24.79 fix this. We figure with the root issues. Are we spend the 00:30:24.79\00:30:28.02 time we asked the questions, we don't jump to conclusions. 00:30:28.02\00:30:31.09 We stop. We listen. We check in with them. What are the actual 00:30:31.09\00:30:34.63 route issues? And by doing that, the students are 00:30:34.63\00:30:38.20 completely different at the end because someone's finally 00:30:38.20\00:30:41.30 teaching them how to process their thoughts in a healthy 00:30:41.30\00:30:43.44 way. Figure out why they're doing what they're doing is 00:30:43.44\00:30:46.01 just correcting external behavior. We're dealing for 00:30:46.01\00:30:48.68 root issues of Billy systems and then empowers him to learn 00:30:48.68\00:30:51.78 how to think critically with the class critical thinking. 00:30:51.78\00:30:55.18 I had actually use your brain to think for yourself and work 00:30:55.18\00:30:58.79 through stuff because it's very easy, especially within the 00:30:58.79\00:31:01.26 conservative environment. We get told what to do. A lot 00:31:01.26\00:31:04.26 of that that were not given the why behind these things. 00:31:04.26\00:31:07.96 And so when they leave conservative avenues homes 00:31:07.96\00:31:10.67 against conservatism, a conservative after this. 00:31:10.67\00:31:12.80 But we understand in some of those principles were just told 00:31:12.80\00:31:15.87 what to do. And then we go to secular colleges or even have 00:31:15.87\00:31:19.21 this colleges and people say, why do you do that? And our our 00:31:19.21\00:31:22.54 kids have no good answer for that. That's a good question. 00:31:22.54\00:31:27.15 And so then they say what doesn't make any sense and then 00:31:27.15\00:31:29.38 they hear some Bible tax or something else. And they were 00:31:29.38\00:31:31.95 never really taught how to own their faith. They were never 00:31:31.95\00:31:34.79 thought taught how to think critically. And so we're doing 00:31:34.79\00:31:37.86 a lot of that, the programs. And so they're just better 00:31:37.86\00:31:41.20 prepared for life as a result of going through the courts, 00:31:41.20\00:31:44.40 not just had to win the argument. Bible school, right? 00:31:44.40\00:31:47.24 Like 3 or more all encompassing, OK? 00:31:47.24\00:31:50.44 >> No. How are you funded? 00:31:50.44\00:31:52.87 >> That's a great question. So I'm for the first 5 years of 00:31:52.87\00:31:56.48 the program, we've been 100% privately funded. The 00:31:56.48\00:32:00.72 Pennsylvania conference believes in what we're doing. 00:32:00.72\00:32:02.95 And so they are subsidizing part of our program. But we are 00:32:02.95\00:32:06.86 largely dependent upon donor gifts to ensure that we can 00:32:06.86\00:32:10.89 keep hearing stories like Ethan Zohn Allen's and we're a 00:32:10.89\00:32:14.20 Ministry of the Pennsylvania Conference but were privately 00:32:14.20\00:32:17.40 funded to a large degree. A majority of our funding comes 00:32:17.40\00:32:19.73 from outside the conference. They do subsidized part of what 00:32:19.73\00:32:22.40 we do. But and it's really helpful because the gift you 00:32:22.40\00:32:25.44 give to core because we're conference employees are into 00:32:25.44\00:32:28.51 the conference system. Our admin costs are much lower 00:32:28.51\00:32:32.38 because the counting is done by the conference. Right insurance 00:32:32.38\00:32:35.88 is down to the conference. So more of your money is going 00:32:35.88\00:32:39.29 directly to the work and not a lot of overhead rent so that 00:32:39.29\00:32:43.22 that's a big blessing in our partnership. Pennsylvania 00:32:43.22\00:32:45.59 conferences on fire for evangelism and Nash. And 00:32:45.59\00:32:49.00 they've been so supportive of what we're doing. It's been 00:32:49.00\00:32:51.80 such a privilege to work with them. Mary gives or conference 00:32:51.80\00:32:54.37 president. He teaches for core and he's been very, very 00:32:54.37\00:32:58.17 intentional engine in letting the conference know we believe 00:32:58.17\00:33:01.34 in this. 00:33:01.34\00:33:02.74 >> And we want to ensure that it continues. And it's really 00:33:02.74\00:33:04.61 good that you're opening it up to all ages because Sarah folks 00:33:04.61\00:33:08.58 that are retired and it's like beginning a new life. Yeah, 00:33:08.58\00:33:12.85 if you will, breaking away, taking a sabbatical going 00:33:12.85\00:33:16.89 through the studies so they can also get involved. But how can 00:33:16.89\00:33:20.60 people get involved with this program? Is that by church is 00:33:20.60\00:33:24.60 inviting your students, too, you know, to do, though, 00:33:24.60\00:33:28.84 hands-on or how this will work? 00:33:28.84\00:33:31.17 >> Yes, so the way that people can get involved, just go to 00:33:31.17\00:33:33.41 the website. If you'd like to be a student or you think of 00:33:33.41\00:33:35.84 someone who you think would benefit from being a student, 00:33:35.84\00:33:38.21 just go to our website core evangelism dot com and that's 00:33:38.21\00:33:42.85 where you can. You can find out how to become a member of the 00:33:42.85\00:33:45.42 program had actually be a student. 00:33:45.42\00:33:47.82 And again, we have an early Bird special. If you apply 00:33:47.82\00:33:49.99 before, April 1st, you can save $250 on your tuitions. So if 00:33:49.99\00:33:54.63 you know of people would benefit sets the biggest way 00:33:54.63\00:33:57.53 people can get involved, obviously, by donating to the 00:33:57.53\00:33:59.87 program, a tax-deductible gift. They're furthering the disciple 00:33:59.87\00:34:03.67 ship of young and old alike. That's also a big blessing, 00:34:03.67\00:34:06.71 a benefit. And then another way people can get involved is 00:34:06.71\00:34:09.68 sometimes action that sometimes I get calls all the time. 00:34:09.68\00:34:13.68 People in Bible workers, not every student goes to court, 00:34:13.68\00:34:17.15 will buy work. But even as one of them, he's going to be 00:34:17.15\00:34:19.89 outstanding. Bible worker buddy spoken for somebody already 00:34:19.89\00:34:22.29 called and Allen is deeply involved in lay ministry and 00:34:22.29\00:34:26.29 his church is and what I knew. So yeah, we're going to meet as 00:34:26.29\00:34:29.53 the personal minister's director at my church now. 00:34:29.53\00:34:32.03 Yeah, grazing VOA are they put in the work right away. So 00:34:32.03\00:34:36.07 studies witnessing this guy's doing it for a living but he 00:34:36.07\00:34:38.87 has his hands on a mission. Wow. So but each year there's 00:34:38.87\00:34:42.58 usually some graduates will be interesting, a viable work. 00:34:42.58\00:34:45.05 And sometimes we have previous year's graduates, we can send 00:34:45.05\00:34:47.48 responses to them and see if you're interested. So this is 00:34:47.48\00:34:49.95 the main ways. If you'd like to have some of the core team 00:34:49.95\00:34:53.49 coming, maybe do a training at a church, they can email us 00:34:53.49\00:34:57.46 just at info at core evangelism dot com. We can see what's 00:34:57.46\00:35:00.56 possible. This limited schedule me past ring. It's harder for 00:35:00.56\00:35:03.80 me to get away from them. But we do have support staff 00:35:03.80\00:35:06.30 that could help with some of that. We generally try to 00:35:06.30\00:35:09.57 prioritize our travel for places where we can recruit 00:35:09.57\00:35:13.27 students. So if you feel like you have a church that would be 00:35:13.27\00:35:15.51 open-minded would benefit from that. We speak at youth events, 00:35:15.51\00:35:19.61 you know, conferences and academies and colleges and 00:35:19.61\00:35:22.42 things like that, too. The church is interested in 00:35:22.42\00:35:24.95 inviting some of the staff or for the court to come to their 00:35:24.95\00:35:29.09 church. How long is it is saying Friday Saturday. Yeah. 00:35:29.09\00:35:33.90 What is usually it's going to be like a weekend. Sometimes a 00:35:33.90\00:35:36.16 week of prayer could happen, but most likely be a weekend. 00:35:36.16\00:35:39.97 Up now to the program's 13 weeks. My support staff has a 00:35:39.97\00:35:44.01 bit more time like in the summer or in a little bit 00:35:44.01\00:35:45.97 towards the winter months to do some travel for things like 00:35:45.97\00:35:48.18 that. But then they're working. A local church is part of the 00:35:48.18\00:35:51.18 change we made was my support. Staff is working in 00:35:51.18\00:35:54.92 Pennsylvania Conference church is helping them to grow and 00:35:54.92\00:35:57.65 cheese or evangelistic goals and preparing those churches to 00:35:57.65\00:36:00.76 receive students. We want to make sure that all of us are 00:36:00.76\00:36:03.43 staying fresh, engaging our communities and not just 00:36:03.43\00:36:06.13 administrating a program that's making a big difference. 00:36:06.13\00:36:08.83 We'd also like to stay fresh in touch with our communities. 00:36:08.83\00:36:11.60 So me past ring and my staff doing gospel ministry in 00:36:11.60\00:36:14.84 churches was important to us, too. I want to go to Ethan for 00:36:14.84\00:36:18.71 a moment to ask, you know, what were your expectations? 00:36:18.71\00:36:22.44 >> Upon going to core and how hes going to core either 00:36:22.44\00:36:27.78 amplified your perspective or changed your perspective? 00:36:27.78\00:36:31.95 Bowman said. 00:36:31.95\00:36:34.29 >> As far as expectations go, I don't know all of what all of 00:36:34.29\00:36:38.26 my expectations are for going into it. I guess I thought, 00:36:38.26\00:36:41.76 you know, is going I was going about God is going to learn how 00:36:41.76\00:36:44.33 to share my faith. And I think I I probably looked at it 00:36:44.33\00:36:50.41 in large part kind of like 00:36:50.41\00:36:53.68 learn the doctrines are and how to defend the faith and what 00:36:53.68\00:36:56.71 not. And that the program. 00:36:56.71\00:36:59.31 It definitely exceeded my expectations. I do remember 00:36:59.31\00:37:03.05 thinking like whatever my expectations I they've been 00:37:03.05\00:37:05.42 exceeded 00:37:05.42\00:37:07.29 because you have the aspect of all the classroom learning just 00:37:07.29\00:37:12.23 absolutely invaluable. But you also have the aspect of being 00:37:12.23\00:37:17.17 able to apply that in the real world in real time. But it's 00:37:17.17\00:37:21.24 not just something I that I'm going to apply after. The fact 00:37:21.24\00:37:25.34 is something that I get to apply as I'm learning to write. 00:37:25.34\00:37:29.34 And that's a huge thing came up. Probably the single biggest 00:37:29.34\00:37:34.25 as I look back, especially now setting 00:37:34.25\00:37:38.12 everything aside. 00:37:38.12\00:37:40.12 The single biggest thing I think that made it. The biggest 00:37:40.12\00:37:42.96 impact for me 00:37:42.96\00:37:44.63 was that 00:37:44.63\00:37:46.56 I was there and I was actively sharing my faith, 00:37:46.56\00:37:51.70 the firemen that 00:37:51.70\00:37:53.70 had the expectation that I would be doing something for 00:37:53.70\00:37:57.27 the Lord that follow through with that because you set 00:37:57.27\00:38:00.88 aside, although there's things break, right. I think that's 00:38:00.88\00:38:04.95 ultimately what's what's most important, mom, 00:38:04.95\00:38:08.78 you want to learn how to do the right methods. All of those 00:38:08.78\00:38:11.52 things are important right at the end of the day, if you 00:38:11.52\00:38:15.49 aren't actually, you know, boots on the ground, working at 00:38:15.49\00:38:19.36 the Lord, fighting in the Army roared, then you're not 00:38:19.36\00:38:23.73 fulfilling what we talked earlier in the 28. 00:38:23.73\00:38:28.94 And so, yeah, that the the practical aspect of it was a 00:38:28.94\00:38:33.17 big, important thing for me. And then, of course, I don't 00:38:33.17\00:38:37.88 want to diminish just the practical hands-on learning as 00:38:37.88\00:38:40.95 well. I still refer back to my notes. You know, if I'm working 00:38:40.95\00:38:45.59 on a somber note saying I try to we have all of the 00:38:45.59\00:38:51.29 recordings and we have what? So, yeah, all the classes get 00:38:51.29\00:38:54.86 recorded. You get access to that. So obviously, you know, 00:38:54.86\00:38:58.87 you can only retain. I think they see you retain like 10% of 00:38:58.87\00:39:02.57 a serving here, right? All right. You can go back and we 00:39:02.57\00:39:06.34 listen to that. That's huge. And I refer back to, you know, 00:39:06.34\00:39:09.61 all the teachers, if they had to sell this, if they had 00:39:09.61\00:39:12.65 different documents for the class, my regularly refer back 00:39:12.65\00:39:16.65 to those things. And I find that even now as I'm preparing 00:39:16.65\00:39:20.49 bible studies in sermons and things like that to be a very 00:39:20.49\00:39:23.32 valuable resource, not for just myself, Im an amen. 00:39:23.32\00:39:28.00 >> But that is definitely a commitment. Yes, and you know, 00:39:28.00\00:39:30.87 you guys both are committed it. You didn't go to play and the 00:39:30.87\00:39:36.37 curse to me that 00:39:36.37\00:39:38.21 if a young person might be interested in studying in, 00:39:38.21\00:39:42.41 is there a what is called? 00:39:42.41\00:39:50.15 >> That's called Case Cause Cancer ship to its sponsorship. 00:39:50.15\00:39:53.96 Yeah. So we're working on developing or the student fund 00:39:53.96\00:39:57.19 to help with some of that. That's also one of the ways 00:39:57.19\00:40:00.43 that people can help us. If you say like, hey, I can do 00:40:00.43\00:40:03.06 it. I don't know when you can go, but I believe in what 00:40:03.06\00:40:05.37 you're doing, you can contribute to the were the 00:40:05.37\00:40:07.64 student fund to ensure that more people like Ethan Allen 00:40:07.64\00:40:11.47 can have that experience. When a student is excepted, 00:40:11.47\00:40:14.34 we give them a fundraising letter that they can share with 00:40:14.34\00:40:16.78 family friends, their church and so forth. This makes a big 00:40:16.78\00:40:19.95 difference. Yes, we've already written for than that explains 00:40:19.95\00:40:22.35 with the program, does not our letterhead. My contact 00:40:22.35\00:40:25.19 information is there of people have questions. And many times 00:40:25.19\00:40:28.29 students will do that this year with all kinds of folks. 00:40:28.29\00:40:30.89 And that helps them to kind of meet their goals. The $7,000 00:40:30.89\00:40:35.33 that covers all their food, the entire length of the program, 00:40:35.33\00:40:38.20 older lodging and all of the practicum and all that. All of 00:40:38.20\00:40:41.94 that stuff said, Tim, it's all built in so they don't need to 00:40:41.94\00:40:44.74 worry about what they're going to eat the entire time. They're 00:40:44.74\00:40:46.64 fit every meal every day through the tuition that 00:40:46.64\00:40:49.51 they're paying. You know, you said you were talking about 9 00:40:49.51\00:40:52.95 months currently year. Yeah. 00:40:52.95\00:40:55.18 >> Well, I I did some quick math here. And in this it's a 00:40:55.18\00:40:59.62 program that's compared to others. That's it's a portable, 00:40:59.62\00:41:03.63 very much most programs around the $6,000 Mark when we did 9. 00:41:03.63\00:41:07.13 >> So we did a nine-month model its 13,000. And when you do 00:41:07.13\00:41:11.57 that kind of ratios were actually quite a good deal. 00:41:11.57\00:41:14.10 And we feed you some programs don't feed you get to future 00:41:14.10\00:41:16.74 self. And for the 13 week model, the 7,000 that includes 00:41:16.74\00:41:21.14 the food. And so that's a competitive rate. When you can 00:41:21.14\00:41:24.31 figure all that in it to worry about stressing what you're 00:41:24.31\00:41:26.38 going to make or whatever the cafeteria cause, some delicious 00:41:26.38\00:41:29.22 vegan and vegetarian food, it all covered for you to do a 00:41:29.22\00:41:32.25 very great job. And so that's that's old. Built in. 00:41:32.25\00:41:35.92 >> You just said cafeteria food hits a professional culinary 00:41:35.92\00:41:40.60 company that runs it. So it's not a, you know, a lunch lady, 00:41:40.60\00:41:43.43 Judy or something, you know, whipping up only Sloppy Joes or 00:41:43.43\00:41:46.27 something like theirs. No offense to any Judy's. That's 00:41:46.27\00:41:49.84 what I know. God bless you. Thank you for your service. 00:41:49.84\00:41:53.11 Haha. But in this context of this is this is a professional 00:41:53.11\00:41:56.24 company that runs the cafeteria, but that also which 00:41:56.24\00:42:00.22 is great. 00:42:00.22\00:42:01.38 >> And so yeah, and then the other big thing for the program 00:42:01.38\00:42:03.92 is that they learn from some of the brightest minds in the end, 00:42:03.92\00:42:05.85 Mister Church. As I mentioned, Gary gives our conference 00:42:05.85\00:42:08.06 president. He teaches Doctor Eric Walsh is one of our 00:42:08.06\00:42:11.13 teachers. He just taught unapologetic, say couple weeks 00:42:11.13\00:42:13.36 ago. Sebastien Braxton Pastor Nathan Runner Jennifer Jill 00:42:13.36\00:42:17.43 Shores are Pastor Chris Holland, 00:42:17.43\00:42:19.73 Lance Wilber Rico Hill. They got programming on DARE to 00:42:19.73\00:42:22.84 Dream Network. I'm Scott. Julie Grizz will help to teach 00:42:22.84\00:42:25.87 our cross-cultural witnessing component had Mister refugees 00:42:25.87\00:42:29.11 and immigrants. I'm Elise hard Bolt and Rhonda Field and many 00:42:29.11\00:42:33.35 others. I still teach. Obviously my wife teaches as 00:42:33.35\00:42:35.42 well. And so we've got some brilliant minds and you have 00:42:35.42\00:42:38.49 this church that are really kind of helping them to to go 00:42:38.49\00:42:40.86 deep. 00:42:40.86\00:42:42.36 >> You just mentioned something that triggered a question and 00:42:42.36\00:42:45.56 how do you reach the must tomorrow here in the United 00:42:45.56\00:42:49.53 States? We're getting so many people of that faith. So do you 00:42:49.53\00:42:55.77 teach that cultural? 00:42:55.77\00:42:57.67 >> So part of our curriculum has cross-cultural witnessing 00:42:57.67\00:43:00.71 its Scott and Julie Griswold. He helped her in the B**** 00:43:00.71\00:43:03.75 Study Center for a while. They spent a lot of time in 00:43:03.75\00:43:05.78 Thailand in in the southeastern area. So we give them 00:43:05.78\00:43:09.88 principles on how to engage cross culturally. So it's not 00:43:09.88\00:43:13.66 this exhaustive list of came slums. Here's your formula in 00:43:13.66\00:43:16.66 Buddhist. Here's your formula. It's learning how to make 00:43:16.66\00:43:19.23 connections with people on a friendship level, learning how 00:43:19.23\00:43:22.13 to kind of accept the good aspects of their culture and 00:43:22.13\00:43:24.27 meet them where you can learn how to kind of draw a line in 00:43:24.27\00:43:26.84 the sand and certain aspects of culture and had to engage them. 00:43:26.84\00:43:29.24 So the first mission trip we did was to Cuba. The last 4 00:43:29.24\00:43:33.24 that we've done have been with Scott and Julie Griswold and 00:43:33.24\00:43:36.01 their minister reach the world next door, which is part of a 00:43:36.01\00:43:38.15 safe time in history. Former minister in the refugees in 00:43:38.15\00:43:41.15 Houston, Texas. And so part of our goal is long term in the 00:43:41.15\00:43:44.75 internship option where people could choose like a 00:43:44.75\00:43:48.46 cross-cultural witnessing track and whether that would be in 00:43:48.46\00:43:51.36 Texas or somewhere else will have multiple tracks for 00:43:51.36\00:43:54.20 students to choose if they want to do the internship and 00:43:54.20\00:43:56.97 potentially something like that could be another option. 00:43:56.97\00:43:58.90 So much saying, you know, field experience, you mention that 00:43:58.90\00:44:01.84 core 00:44:01.84\00:44:03.37 one of the object, this, of course, is to help people 00:44:03.37\00:44:07.38 develop this who that is and and the personal relationship 00:44:07.38\00:44:11.45 with Christ. How do you accomplished and how do you 00:44:11.45\00:44:14.32 help the student reach that experience a personal 00:44:14.32\00:44:18.55 relationship with God? So the classes play a big role in that 00:44:18.55\00:44:22.36 of continually putting before them who God is and who they 00:44:22.36\00:44:25.46 are. It's the steady drumbeat. We just keep swinging that 00:44:25.46\00:44:28.66 gospel acts every class for 300 hours. And there's these 00:44:28.66\00:44:33.00 moments. The each student has where they get it right. 00:44:33.00\00:44:35.80 They think the or sometimes they get it. But then they kind 00:44:35.80\00:44:38.21 of fall back to those old thought patterns are not good 00:44:38.21\00:44:40.04 enough. Would God save me? And we just keep that steady 00:44:40.04\00:44:42.84 pressure of the gospel in every single class. Tell your story. 00:44:42.84\00:44:46.58 We had a student had this recurring dream of the second 00:44:46.58\00:44:49.58 coming. And it wasn't really a good dream is a nightmare 00:44:49.58\00:44:52.92 because every time he had this dream of the second coming, 00:44:52.92\00:44:55.42 he would see his family lifted up and his feet would stay on 00:44:55.42\00:44:58.73 the ground. Just thought he would never be good enough. 00:44:58.73\00:45:02.00 He wasn't going to be saved. But he felt like I can't really 00:45:02.00\00:45:05.03 do anything else all to stick around. But he was miserable. 00:45:05.03\00:45:07.97 Many people feel that way and he goes to the core program. 00:45:07.97\00:45:11.64 He goes or classes. We're reading different books as part 00:45:11.64\00:45:14.98 of the programs like Lessons on Faith by Jones Wagner, the book 00:45:14.98\00:45:18.75 Steps To Cry Steps, a person revival by Omaha Beal and he's 00:45:18.75\00:45:22.62 reading different books. He's studying different aspects 00:45:22.62\00:45:25.99 with Israel's messages. Classes really gospel centered and 00:45:25.99\00:45:28.92 helps people find assurance of salvation in that message. 00:45:28.92\00:45:32.26 And he goes through these classes and he has the dream 00:45:32.26\00:45:34.46 again later in the school year, he thought on or this is going 00:45:34.46\00:45:37.17 to go. And the second coming is happening, she says, is coming 00:45:37.17\00:45:40.57 in the clouds and his family is raised up 00:45:40.57\00:45:44.21 and then he saw himself joining them well, and and God was 00:45:44.21\00:45:48.04 doing work for him internally subconsciously, where he's 00:45:48.04\00:45:51.75 finally realizing that God accepts me, that man's and we 00:45:51.75\00:45:56.02 have so many stories like that of our students having 00:45:56.02\00:45:58.59 breakthroughs in finding assurance of salvation based 00:45:58.59\00:46:01.36 upon solid biblical teachings. Not just God loves you, but 00:46:01.36\00:46:05.46 that every one or 2 people get so scared. We when we start 00:46:05.46\00:46:08.66 talking about Jesus too much people start to wonder if 00:46:08.66\00:46:11.60 they're going to be Biblical Adventists and that's absurd. 00:46:11.60\00:46:14.24 Haha, that's just absurd. Others are no reason why you 00:46:14.24\00:46:16.91 can't be a solid Biblical Adventist and at the same time 00:46:16.91\00:46:20.68 be incredibly gospel centered and that was the cold that God 00:46:20.68\00:46:23.88 is giving 3 Ellen White to our church. And that's what our 00:46:23.88\00:46:26.85 mission has been as a program where we keep seeing it. 00:46:26.85\00:46:29.68 Amen. Amen to that question about it. 00:46:29.68\00:46:32.62 >> You know, how does the program helps someone to 00:46:32.62\00:46:34.39 develop a personal relationship with Christ? All sheriff for me 00:46:34.39\00:46:38.36 personally, one of the big things that really helped me 00:46:38.36\00:46:41.70 was we do morning worships in each student. There's kind of a 00:46:41.70\00:46:45.47 rotating cycle where each student has a share 15 minute 00:46:45.47\00:46:49.34 concise morning worship with the whole class. And 00:46:49.34\00:46:53.81 so you get a lot of practice, you know, up front in front of 00:46:53.81\00:46:57.11 your your cost per year. So the thought is not too 00:46:57.11\00:46:59.91 scary. But, you know, just your friends really 00:46:59.91\00:47:03.49 presenting a short message from the word and having to do that. 00:47:03.49\00:47:09.06 You know, it forces you to study, you have to study in 00:47:09.06\00:47:12.39 order to have something to present. And so rather than 00:47:12.39\00:47:16.06 having say, you know, you could have a program that says 00:47:16.06\00:47:19.13 got to spend 30 minutes in your Bible every morning. I don't 00:47:19.13\00:47:21.70 think that would be a very good thing. But if you say, OK, 00:47:21.70\00:47:24.54 we're going to have an expectation that each person is 00:47:24.54\00:47:27.11 going to learn how to share worship rain. When you have 00:47:27.11\00:47:29.54 that expectation, it really encourages un forces you to 00:47:29.54\00:47:33.15 study your bible. And it's really ultimately that personal 00:47:33.15\00:47:36.85 study of the Bible and personal prayer. 00:47:36.85\00:47:39.92 >> That develops a personal relationship with Christ. 00:47:39.92\00:47:42.39 Yeah, you meant it and knowing that God is safe and 00:47:42.39\00:47:45.06 accessible, not looking over my shoulder waiting to push the 00:47:45.06\00:47:48.13 red button or there's a lot of that unlearning. That's part of 00:47:48.13\00:47:51.17 the curriculum in that process so that they recognize that I 00:47:51.17\00:47:54.34 can be open with God about the things I'm feeling that things 00:47:54.34\00:47:56.81 are anxious about the things I'm concerned about and by 00:47:56.81\00:47:59.74 opening up those lines of communication and putting them 00:47:59.74\00:48:03.11 in environments where the hearing spiritual things all 00:48:03.11\00:48:05.18 day, they're connecting with other spiritual people for 00:48:05.18\00:48:07.58 studying the word to share with others. They have to pray. 00:48:07.58\00:48:10.75 They recognizing canvassing their desperate need of Jesus 00:48:10.75\00:48:13.89 because it's scary, you know, at times and I mean, with a new 00:48:13.89\00:48:17.89 iteration of the program is just a Bible working for 00:48:17.89\00:48:20.06 assists. But for those who still want canvassing 00:48:20.06\00:48:22.23 experience, we have an option for them. They can cameras the 00:48:22.23\00:48:24.50 summer before car core starts. So we have that option for 00:48:24.50\00:48:28.04 them. Pennsylvania conference has a canvassing program this 00:48:28.04\00:48:31.14 looking for students right now. And so someone feels a call to 00:48:31.14\00:48:34.31 engage in literature, evangelism in their 25 to 18 or 00:48:34.31\00:48:37.48 17. They can do that to 6 reach out to core. We can connect you 00:48:37.48\00:48:41.68 with them. But so that that process of being dependent upon 00:48:41.68\00:48:45.15 God, you see him work. Yes, so we surround them with this kind 00:48:45.15\00:48:49.46 of all encompassing net of spiritual classes, spiritual 00:48:49.46\00:48:52.86 people counseling. We pray over them and pray with them and 00:48:52.86\00:48:56.00 help them work through their journey meant. But then they're 00:48:56.00\00:48:58.00 studying for themselves, a man and it just comes alive like 00:48:58.00\00:49:00.87 you can't spend time in the word of God in prayer and not 00:49:00.87\00:49:04.34 change my in especially if you're seeing God, is he really 00:49:04.34\00:49:07.88 is and how accessible and intimate he is finished as a 00:49:07.88\00:49:10.91 whole nother level in so many part. 00:49:10.91\00:49:13.78 >> You have a question of well, I want it now and to see if the 00:49:13.78\00:49:17.65 ladies First Island, I know he have a lot to share and ever, 00:49:17.65\00:49:24.76 everybody here is a one world and so many details in our 00:49:24.76\00:49:30.33 lives that we can share with the Lloyd has transformed this 00:49:30.33\00:49:34.84 area my life and this area of my life. What can you share 00:49:34.84\00:49:38.84 with our young people watching admiring that and deciding that 00:49:38.84\00:49:45.11 relationship with the Lord and that transformation? They want 00:49:45.11\00:49:48.95 to be free. I mean, not free because the they were there in 00:49:48.95\00:49:54.09 prison, but freed from their sand from their past live and 00:49:54.09\00:49:59.89 just renew their life. 00:49:59.89\00:50:01.53 >> Yes, so if you actually look into the viral hit states, 00:50:01.53\00:50:04.27 how to deal with every problem you may face in this world, 00:50:04.27\00:50:08.77 if it just talks about how soon is the cause, the root of all 00:50:08.77\00:50:12.74 problems and Jesus is the solution. So if you actually 00:50:12.74\00:50:16.61 implement that into your life completely year, everything is 00:50:16.61\00:50:20.52 going to come much bettors can complete its going to change 00:50:20.52\00:50:23.72 everything about you to make you complete and whole a man 00:50:23.72\00:50:26.96 there. Yeah, we actually part of our mission trip this last 00:50:26.96\00:50:29.46 year. 00:50:29.46\00:50:30.86 >> Was to Houston, Texas to minister to refugees and Allen 00:50:30.86\00:50:33.26 came to visit because he spent last summer at so he went on 00:50:33.26\00:50:36.46 the mission trip during core and it was such an impactful 00:50:36.46\00:50:39.47 experience this summer. He went back to that Mission Field 00:50:39.47\00:50:42.37 while spent the whole summer ministering to refugees since 00:50:42.37\00:50:44.84 the law. Then we had our students for this year come 00:50:44.84\00:50:47.71 because he knew the area so well, Scott Julie asked him to 00:50:47.71\00:50:49.94 join again and we did this mental health focused health 00:50:49.94\00:50:53.78 fair in a Cambodian largely Cambodian community and where 00:50:53.78\00:50:59.19 there are a lot of refugees there. And we did a health care 00:50:59.19\00:51:01.79 with practical steps that had to improve your mental health. 00:51:01.79\00:51:04.49 And Allen are in the spiritual station and he had this 00:51:04.49\00:51:06.59 beautiful process. Explain to them what you did on this 00:51:06.59\00:51:09.46 beautiful and practical. So we I wrote down different 00:51:09.46\00:51:13.13 things that someone might face in their life say like that. 00:51:13.13\00:51:15.70 >> Presha none or anxiety on any any negative emotion or 00:51:15.70\00:51:21.28 thing that we could face. And then I looked out Bible 00:51:21.28\00:51:24.25 verses and I put it down the table, too. So you pick up 00:51:24.25\00:51:28.62 something that's like like anxiousness. And there's a 00:51:28.62\00:51:32.52 Bible verse that they could pick that would offer that 00:51:32.52\00:51:34.79 would that would help heal that. And for for anything you 00:51:34.79\00:51:38.49 can think of they're God tells us he is there for a scene and 00:51:38.49\00:51:43.47 it just would without God. We're missing a lot, as you 00:51:43.47\00:51:47.10 recall, just a practical way helping people who are 00:51:47.10\00:51:49.37 Christians. 00:51:49.37\00:51:50.47 >> Realize that the Bible is full of practical ways. God 00:51:50.47\00:51:53.54 want you to be healthy. He want you to have a sound mind and to 00:51:53.54\00:51:56.88 be happy and there are principles and promises in his 00:51:56.88\00:52:00.72 word that can help to meet those practical needs. Such a 00:52:00.72\00:52:03.42 beautiful, simple way to go about. It is such a blessing. 00:52:03.42\00:52:06.65 >> Manly men meeting the needs of the people. And that's right 00:52:06.65\00:52:09.76 that we have very little time here and we're going to ask 00:52:09.76\00:52:13.83 eaten first, would you mind looking at the camera with the 00:52:13.83\00:52:16.87 little line on and say, can you say to somebody that's 00:52:16.87\00:52:20.87 wondering, should I go to court or not? What in your experience 00:52:20.87\00:52:24.47 of this? I encourage to go to court because what? 00:52:24.47\00:52:29.54 >> So for myself, the you know, there's different reasons why I 00:52:29.54\00:52:35.52 decided to come to the program. But ultimately why I came to 00:52:35.52\00:52:39.12 the program and why I'm absolutely sure that it was a 00:52:39.12\00:52:43.89 good decision was because it was a real solid opportunity 00:52:43.89\00:52:49.33 for me to on my faith, find my calling mining opportunity to 00:52:49.33\00:52:53.47 make change in the world manso. 00:52:53.47\00:52:56.44 If you're thinking, you know, I don't know what God wants me to 00:52:56.44\00:52:59.17 do, but I know God wants me to do it. Like earlier we talked 00:52:59.17\00:53:02.98 about Matthew. 28 Jesus said go therefore and make disciples of 00:53:02.98\00:53:06.78 all nations. That's a message that Jesus gave for you 00:53:06.78\00:53:10.45 personally. And core was an excellent opportunity for me to 00:53:10.45\00:53:14.72 learn how that message that Jesus give us 00:53:14.72\00:53:18.43 could be applied to my own life. Amen. Amen. How about 00:53:18.43\00:53:22.36 you, Ellen? Do you say to somebody I encourage you to go 00:53:22.36\00:53:24.80 to court to be a cause, but because it's going to change 00:53:24.80\00:53:28.50 your life. Haha, every part of your life for the better. 00:53:28.50\00:53:34.78 But I mean concise. Very alert. Yes. Well, finally, we need to 00:53:34.78\00:53:40.12 get the address again. Yeah. If you 00:54:47.32\00:54:51.85 apply by April 1st yesterday, Casper. 00:54:51.85\00:54:55.42 Somebody has a distorted picture of God, too. 00:54:55.42\00:54:58.33 What can you do to help them understand that you pictures 00:54:58.33\00:55:01.30 distorted? This is the right picture would say if there's 00:55:01.30\00:55:04.13 this sense, I was kind of the way we tell our students if the 00:55:04.13\00:55:07.67 the overall emotional picture you get when you think about 00:55:07.67\00:55:10.17 God as a friendly face and not a smiley face, you're probably 00:55:10.17\00:55:13.27 not talking about the God of Scripture. And the scriptures 00:55:13.27\00:55:16.14 teaches that Jesus in John 13 verse one heading loved his own 00:55:16.14\00:55:20.18 who are in the world. He loved them to the end. Jesus love you 00:55:20.18\00:55:24.32 to death. Literally. He thinks the world of you. He is head 00:55:24.32\00:55:27.32 over heels in love with you. And heaven was not a place to 00:55:27.32\00:55:30.36 be desired while you were lost. And so Jesus see something of 00:55:30.36\00:55:34.60 incredible value in you. And he wants you to see that to 00:55:34.60\00:55:38.80 the entire story from Genesis to revelation is the unfolding 00:55:38.80\00:55:42.80 of this story of God's desperate desire to be face to 00:55:42.80\00:55:46.24 face with you once again and what we're about at the core 00:55:46.24\00:55:49.51 programs to help people find that in scripture and had to 00:55:49.51\00:55:52.85 intelligently communicate that to the world around them. 00:55:52.85\00:55:55.68 Allen's doing that, Ethan is doing that. Multitudes of our 00:55:55.68\00:55:58.52 students are doing that today because they decided to commit 00:55:58.52\00:56:02.66 a chunk of time in their life. This is just 13 weeks, right? 00:56:02.66\00:56:05.99 Even if it's 9 months, that's a small portion of your life. 00:56:05.99\00:56:08.90 But it's invaluable because what God can do in that season 00:56:08.90\00:56:11.93 will make you so much more effective for the rest of your 00:56:11.93\00:56:14.94 life. For the kingdom is not time wasted is not interrupting 00:56:14.94\00:56:18.24 or education. It's time well spent. And then you can go 00:56:18.24\00:56:21.01 right back to school. You can go right back to your job and 00:56:21.01\00:56:24.15 keep doing what you're doing. But now with a solid mission 00:56:24.15\00:56:27.35 will focus in the tools and the confidence to do it. Well, 00:56:27.35\00:56:30.75 a man, thank you so much. Well, the that in a very 00:56:30.75\00:56:33.86 encouraging, I think 00:56:33.86\00:56:35.69 you can. 00:56:35.69\00:56:37.13 >> Say goodbye to our people that have been with us and 00:56:37.13\00:56:39.33 radio and TV. So support core evangelism 00:56:51.31\00:56:55.14 school.
