And, you know, it's interesting that we have 2 00:03:13.56\00:03:18.39 young men here and a lot of times we hear why these boys 00:03:18.39\00:03:23.67 going to do when they grow up and your prayers are being 00:03:23.67\00:03:27.47 heard, moms and dads and young people that have chosen to save 00:03:27.47\00:03:32.17 north. And we're going to 00:03:56.97\00:03:58.70 talk about that in a moment. We want to go to the Lord in 00:03:58.70\00:04:01.27 prayer and we want to thank first every one of you. And you 00:04:30.53\00:04:33.80 know, it's something wonderful. 00:04:33.80\00:04:35.40 What happens when you pray for somebody can tell you when that 00:04:35.40\00:04:39.07 front doesn't get blessed as he was welcome. So you are blessed 00:04:39.07\00:04:42.28 as you pray for others because you're drawing close to the 00:04:42.28\00:04:45.11 Lord. 00:04:45.11\00:04:46.92 Joining people together praying brings a powerful, powerful 00:04:46.92\00:04:51.59 effect and God hears those prayers. They meant. Let's go 00:04:51.59\00:04:55.56 to the Lord in prayer. Ask for his blessing, 00:04:55.56\00:04:59.16 our loving heavenly father. We come before you in Jesus 00:04:59.16\00:05:03.06 name and we thank you. We thank you that 00:05:03.06\00:05:06.70 we can always come knowing that you we'll listen to our 00:05:06.70\00:05:10.47 prayers. Yes, we don't get a busy signal. 00:05:10.47\00:05:13.14 >> We don't get a not here or is away from the from the desk 00:05:13.14\00:05:18.65 that you are always there. Ready to listen to our prayer 00:05:18.65\00:05:22.05 needs and our concerns. And heavenly father, we bring to 00:05:22.05\00:05:25.25 you every concern, every prayer requests to calm that has come 00:05:25.25\00:05:28.42 to create the end. You know them all. And each one of them 00:05:28.42\00:05:32.73 is of great importance to you and we bring them to you 00:05:32.73\00:05:37.13 knowing that, you know, each person and that you love each 00:05:37.13\00:05:40.17 person and you will do what is best for each person. We thank 00:05:40.17\00:05:43.64 you, Heavenly father for Jesus Christ. And that has come to 00:05:43.64\00:05:47.28 this world died for us and is alive and well again because he 00:05:47.28\00:05:51.41 resurrected from the dead. And is it the right hand of the 00:05:51.41\00:05:54.18 father season? The most holy place ministering in our 00:05:54.18\00:05:56.72 behalf? Then he said that in his name we can bring these 00:05:56.72\00:06:00.79 petitions and using his name. We present them to you and we 00:06:00.79\00:06:04.76 pray for a blessing upon all. That was tough to listen to 00:06:04.76\00:06:07.40 this program, whether live or at some other time. We thank 00:06:07.40\00:06:11.80 you for this 3ABN tool that you have given to bring the 00:06:11.80\00:06:15.74 everlasting gospel to the whole world. And we pray for and in 00:06:15.74\00:06:18.77 all things for your name to be honored and glorified. We ask 00:06:18.77\00:06:22.28 for these things in the holding. And that's the name of 00:06:22.28\00:06:25.21 Jesus. 00:06:25.21\00:06:28.68 >> Amen. Well, we now go to the reading of the scriptures and 00:06:28.68\00:06:32.45 Matthew, 28 Riz 18 to 20. And let's see. We do like to be 00:06:32.45\00:06:38.43 there for us to have her youth. And yes, a 3 to 18 to 20. 00:06:38.43\00:06:43.10 >> It says in Jesus came and said to them all authority in 00:06:43.10\00:06:46.17 heaven and on earth has been given to me go therefore and 00:06:46.17\00:06:49.24 make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of 00:06:49.24\00:06:52.34 the father and the son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them 00:06:52.34\00:06:56.01 to observe all that. I have commanded you and behold, 00:06:56.01\00:06:59.35 I am with you always. 00:06:59.35\00:07:00.88 >> The end the age. I'm a man and man. All right. We have 00:07:00.88\00:07:05.75 there. The great commission and a pass to D cast would like to 00:07:05.75\00:07:09.12 share a few words about that first. Yeah. So that's 00:07:09.12\00:07:11.73 something we're definitely passion about here at core. 00:07:11.73\00:07:14.30 >> The the initial charge that Jesus gives is to make 00:07:14.30\00:07:18.43 disciples. I know a lot of times baptism can be a big 00:07:18.43\00:07:22.37 focus. You know, we're looking for baptisms. But the initial 00:07:22.37\00:07:25.31 call is for us to make disciples and the logical fruit 00:07:25.31\00:07:29.04 of disciple making is that they will get baptized. But then our 00:07:29.04\00:07:32.78 job is not done once we baptize them, our job is to keep 00:07:32.78\00:07:35.95 teaching them right. And so one of our big burdens at the core 00:07:35.95\00:07:39.12 program is too have a big emphasis on disciple ship, 00:07:39.12\00:07:42.46 empowering our students to learn how to know God for 00:07:42.46\00:07:45.36 themselves to grow that relationship and the disciple 00:07:45.36\00:07:47.96 ship they receive to be able to give that to others. And so 00:07:47.96\00:07:51.70 they've received that gift. And so we we focus on that a 00:07:51.70\00:07:55.17 lot, not just on the cycling them, but empowering them to 00:07:55.17\00:07:57.81 make disciples of other. So remember all about that's 00:07:57.81\00:08:00.41 why we're a disciple ship school. Amen, Amen. 00:08:00.41\00:08:03.91 >> And there she says, says something powerful. All 00:08:03.91\00:08:08.58 authority is given to him in heaven and earth. And for this 00:08:08.58\00:08:13.05 reason, he said goal, they're 4, 1, 00:08:13.05\00:08:17.49 make disciples as you heard where where these disciples to 00:08:17.49\00:08:20.50 be made. And although they shipped all nations, no nation 00:08:20.50\00:08:24.33 is left out. No nation is left out. And that's that's what 00:08:24.33\00:08:28.34 that's what we see in God that he loves each and every one of 00:08:28.34\00:08:31.57 us. And so because you guys are identifying with this great 00:08:31.57\00:08:37.48 commission. 00:08:37.48\00:08:38.65 >> You want to core? Yeah. Talk about that moment. Yes, 00:08:38.65\00:08:41.95 yeah, it was actually this the great commission, it's that 00:08:41.95\00:08:44.89 verse that completely changed my life in core. And that's why 00:08:44.89\00:08:47.92 I'm doing what I'm doing now. 00:08:47.92\00:08:49.26 >> Korea has the Lord for some wonderful, wonderful. Well, 00:08:49.26\00:08:52.83 it also teaches says here, teaching them to observe the 00:08:52.83\00:08:55.66 things that that I have taught you, you know, to observe those 00:08:55.66\00:08:59.57 things. And I have taught you what have Christ 00:08:59.57\00:09:03.04 tot. You are what he has. He teach does our wet weather. 00:09:03.04\00:09:07.71 We accept it to learn from him. But yes, we see all the lessons 00:09:07.71\00:09:12.45 in the bible. And sometimes we entertain those stories. 00:09:12.45\00:09:16.82 But we don't I just if you will, is not is a decision to 00:09:16.82\00:09:21.66 live out what we learned of him. So here you are teaching 00:09:21.66\00:09:27.00 them to observe the things. Thank God has taught you now. 00:09:27.00\00:09:32.07 How did this how a sub earth in your heart to half court event 00:09:32.07\00:09:37.54 a lesson? Yeah, it's 00:09:37.54\00:09:39.84 >> very interesting stories. So I was here that, you know, 00:09:39.84\00:09:43.01 working not far from here doing media ministry and there was 00:09:43.01\00:09:47.85 talks of the school that people wanted to begin in to start 00:09:47.85\00:09:51.39 and partnerships were looking at being looked into. And that 00:09:51.39\00:09:56.62 wasn't going to work out at scene and so that they were 00:09:56.62\00:09:58.53 going to move to Pennsylvania to try to start there. And so 00:09:58.53\00:10:01.50 they have reached out to me there's a donor and a pastor, 00:10:01.50\00:10:04.70 the kind of had a burden to see a school, the vandalism, 00:10:04.70\00:10:07.84 a disciple ship program that could empower young adults in 00:10:07.84\00:10:11.34 particular to encounter the 3 angels messages in a cry 00:10:11.34\00:10:15.21 centered way to understand the message or write us by faith 00:10:15.21\00:10:18.35 and power than to be cry, centered gospel preachers and 00:10:18.35\00:10:21.65 to have a burden for mission. And so that was kind of how it 00:10:21.65\00:10:24.35 started. They reached out to me to help them to started. 00:10:24.35\00:10:27.66 And so in June of 2018, I a 00:10:27.66\00:10:32.96 felt like God was saying, yes, this is this is your next step, 00:10:32.96\00:10:35.90 though. I am ashamed to say it now initially as a bit hesitant 00:10:35.90\00:10:39.87 because I heard Pennsylvania in 00:10:39.87\00:10:41.94 and here too many people say like I can't wait to move to 00:10:41.94\00:10:44.31 Pennsylvania. Aha, I thought, oh, Lord, haha, you are you? 00:10:44.31\00:10:49.08 Sure. But as I moved, there was very grateful to gorgeous place 00:10:49.08\00:10:54.05 where I live. The Appalachian Trail is right behind my house. 00:10:54.05\00:10:56.85 And so it's a beautiful area. I wasn't aware of that. And so 00:10:56.85\00:11:01.52 so the call came. And as we began in August of 2018, 00:11:01.52\00:11:05.56 there was nothing. There was a financial backing. There was a 00:11:05.56\00:11:08.80 partnership with the conference, but that was it. 00:11:08.80\00:11:10.57 There was no staff. There was no curriculum. And so then 00:11:10.57\00:11:14.17 began a journey of asking God for wisdom. I felt totally 00:11:14.17\00:11:18.47 unworthy, feel unprepared. But if God's given the call, 00:11:18.47\00:11:22.18 I knew he would provide. I've learned that in life and 00:11:22.18\00:11:24.78 soul. We began a journey 00:11:24.78\00:11:28.32 building, a handbook in. I wish I'd been in 30 locations 00:11:28.32\00:11:31.89 the year pride, the previous traveling in speaking at 00:11:31.89\00:11:34.29 schools and academies and youth events. And so for us, I was 00:11:34.29\00:11:37.76 doing a lot of I-10 preaching in traveling most of the time 00:11:37.76\00:11:41.80 to be an adult demographic, either be teenagers in high 00:11:41.80\00:11:44.17 school or young adults. And so I had access to his being 00:11:44.17\00:11:47.87 invited to a lot of the places where one would need to 00:11:47.87\00:11:52.11 recruit. Should a school starts. That was a blessing. 00:11:52.11\00:11:54.61 Got this kind of preparing the way 00:11:54.61\00:11:56.54 and eventually begin that process of just continuing to 00:11:56.54\00:12:00.78 travel, probably 20 something locations that year of 00:12:00.78\00:12:03.45 development. And we built a curriculum. I called different 00:12:03.45\00:12:06.42 teachers and that we're friends and others. Teams. Rafferty was 00:12:06.42\00:12:10.26 one of them and other people locally and just said, you 00:12:10.26\00:12:12.89 know, I would you be willing to teach? We're starting a school 00:12:12.89\00:12:15.56 and it was a nine-month disciple ship program is what 00:12:15.56\00:12:18.17 we had designed. And still I kept being in these situations 00:12:18.17\00:12:22.94 where there's way too much to get done and I feel 00:12:22.94\00:12:25.87 overwhelmed. I feel like how my going to get this all taking 00:12:25.87\00:12:28.64 care of and I would just pray and I would take one step and 00:12:28.64\00:12:32.28 somehow everything else move forward, man, I would pray and 00:12:32.28\00:12:36.08 take the next step and just feel overwhelmed. Everything's 00:12:36.08\00:12:38.29 behind. It's going to be a mess. And if it goes wrong, 00:12:38.29\00:12:40.89 it's all my fault and just feel the weight of about we just 00:12:40.89\00:12:43.09 pray and take a step. And every time I did that God showed up 00:12:43.09\00:12:46.86 and many took my individual feeble effort in somehow Angels 00:12:46.86\00:12:51.23 would multiply it by a White Nelson. Agreed to teach forced 00:12:51.23\00:12:54.20 the first year. Didn't even know me, but he agreed to teach 00:12:54.20\00:12:57.17 for us and others. And 11 months later, miraculously, 00:12:57.17\00:13:02.18 we had a functioning program. I hired to staff because 00:13:02.18\00:13:06.35 there's no staff that development. You're just saying 00:13:06.35\00:13:08.18 Jesus praying and working through it and the support of 00:13:08.18\00:13:11.55 conference and we decided is we would be on the campus of Blue 00:13:11.55\00:13:15.32 Mountain Academy. And so that's a conference boarding school 00:13:15.32\00:13:18.56 there in PA and the schools built for 400 students many 00:13:18.56\00:13:22.10 years ago. And they had at that stage about 100 students. 00:13:22.10\00:13:25.70 And so there was room in the dormitories. And so the idea 00:13:25.70\00:13:29.24 was we got to build something right, just in campus man's we 00:13:29.24\00:13:33.88 can have a classroom on site there in in the industry 00:13:33.88\00:13:36.51 building get that renovated. And I hired some staff and they 00:13:36.51\00:13:40.32 got there about 8 days before the students arrived. They had 00:13:40.32\00:13:45.35 both been running canvassing programs that summer. And so 00:13:45.35\00:13:48.56 there wasn't a lot of time to onboard them. All these ideas 00:13:48.56\00:13:51.53 are in my head, but to get them out of my brain and into their 00:13:51.53\00:13:54.83 brain that we have to be on the same page. Yeah, well, the 00:13:54.83\00:13:57.90 students anti was a was a big task, but God blessed us. 00:13:57.90\00:14:03.27 I mean, there's bumps along the road when you're starting 00:14:03.27\00:14:05.27 something that generally speaking, God brought together 00:14:05.27\00:14:09.21 a pro gun, those blessings that was in in August of 2019 was 00:14:09.21\00:14:13.42 our first cohort that started and we first semester we did 00:14:13.42\00:14:18.22 canvassing God, blessed us, many of the students and never 00:14:18.22\00:14:20.72 campus before. But God bless those efforts. And we have 2 00:14:20.72\00:14:24.29 week mission trip to Cuba, Cuba in December of 2019 amazing 00:14:24.29\00:14:29.66 people and a full food evangelistic endeavors doing 00:14:29.66\00:14:35.07 home visitations that we worked with Henry Stoves and the World 00:14:35.07\00:14:38.77 Youth Group. Yes, and they were great. Partnering a ministry 00:14:38.77\00:14:42.11 had an amazing experience to come home for Christmas. 00:14:42.11\00:14:44.75 We start a second semester in Bible work. So we have 00:14:44.75\00:14:46.92 canvassing first semester. You have a cross-cultural 00:14:46.92\00:14:49.65 mission trip in Bible work second semester and about 2 00:14:49.65\00:14:53.42 months in the Bible were COVID happened hands. But we didn't 00:14:53.42\00:14:57.19 want to be those people who didn't take it seriously. 00:14:57.19\00:14:59.23 The Academy shut down a cent kids home. And I was speaking 00:14:59.23\00:15:02.36 Loma Linda. I got asked to speak and was on a plane the 00:15:02.36\00:15:06.94 next morning after the NBA to cancel their season. And it 00:15:06.94\00:15:10.47 seems like it's starting to get serious. And the further west 00:15:10.47\00:15:13.17 you go, the worse thing sound things were the only churches 00:15:13.17\00:15:16.14 that were open in southeastern California because it already 00:15:16.14\00:15:19.11 flown there and they shut down the churches on Friday. I got 00:15:19.11\00:15:21.85 there Thursday, right? I preached. And then by 6 staff 00:15:21.85\00:15:24.95 is calling what we do, right? We've got we've got to send 00:15:24.95\00:15:28.22 them home. And so we did class on zoom to finish out the year. 00:15:28.22\00:15:31.43 We still got a baptism out of the God bless getting Bible 00:15:31.43\00:15:35.50 studies over the phone and my staff kept investing in someone 00:15:35.50\00:15:38.80 locally and someone was so bad ties to those efforts. 00:15:38.80\00:15:42.54 And then we ran into the cohort in the fall of 2020 and we were 00:15:42.54\00:15:47.84 canvassing that fall wearing kind of clear plastic face 00:15:47.84\00:15:51.35 masks are. I think we did like $40,000. We would just use hand 00:15:51.35\00:15:55.42 sanitizer and pray and do the best we could and God bless 00:15:55.42\00:15:58.72 those efforts. Can you explain a little bit when you say 00:15:58.72\00:16:02.19 canvassing what, what, what? What exactly is canvassing one 00:16:02.19\00:16:05.13 adult involved in? That's it. That's Cole, Porter worker, 00:16:05.13\00:16:07.50 literature evangelism. And so that's never students have 00:16:07.50\00:16:10.57 Christian literature that they're going door to door to 00:16:10.57\00:16:12.90 public spaces and they're offering a donation basis, 00:16:12.90\00:16:15.94 OK, hand. So you're getting gospel literature into people's 00:16:15.94\00:16:18.77 hands. And at the same time, this is helping to pay for 00:16:18.77\00:16:21.58 education. Yeah. And so it's a rich blessing that God is 00:16:21.58\00:16:24.71 helping you go to school. At the same time, he's 00:16:24.71\00:16:27.68 advancing the gospel with community members. And so I 00:16:27.68\00:16:31.65 think you've answered this question as to the great 00:16:31.65\00:16:34.66 degree. But we're asking you, haha, that's going to wait. 00:16:34.66\00:16:37.66 And what how do you see this being different? The core? 00:16:37.66\00:16:41.56 Yeah. Yeah. Evangelists in school being different from 00:16:41.56\00:16:44.10 other event of this school. Yeah. So the emphasis that 00:16:44.10\00:16:47.44 we've had has been very holistic in nature. So we're 00:16:47.44\00:16:50.44 not the typical kind of like Bible worker factory model of 00:16:50.44\00:16:54.44 they come in. We teach him how to win the argument, defend the 00:16:54.44\00:16:57.01 faith. You know how to answer objections really well. And 00:16:57.01\00:17:00.85 then by the work and that's the main emphasis. We have all of 00:17:00.85\00:17:05.22 those elements built into the program. But that's not the 00:17:05.22\00:17:07.42 emphasis. The emphasis is teaching them individually to 00:17:07.42\00:17:11.33 connect with Jesus on a personal level, knowing headed, 00:17:11.33\00:17:14.46 know him personally and then had to share him intelligently 00:17:14.46\00:17:17.53 and a cry centered way. So the literature vandals and we do 00:17:17.53\00:17:20.74 the cross-cultural witnessing, we do the Bible work that we do 00:17:20.74\00:17:23.91 is growing their gifts and abilities to take the truth 00:17:23.91\00:17:27.28 that they're learning and communicated well to the 00:17:27.28\00:17:29.54 programs designed to meet their needs and to help them to grow. 00:17:29.54\00:17:32.85 And so that's why we have mental health is a large 00:17:32.85\00:17:35.85 component to our program. The messenger, right, just as 00:17:35.85\00:17:38.49 by faith is a large component of our program so they can have 00:17:38.49\00:17:41.49 a health, your view of God of themselves. And then they'll 00:17:41.49\00:17:44.19 have to share that with others. That's great. Fantastic praise 00:17:44.19\00:17:46.80 the Lord. So that's kind of the backstory. So we've we've been 00:17:46.80\00:17:49.66 running. This is our 5th cohort were running right now. And up 00:17:49.66\00:17:53.97 until this point, we've been running a nine-month model. 00:17:53.97\00:17:57.94 But starting this fall, we're going to have a new model of 13 00:17:57.94\00:18:01.41 weeks. It's largely been focused on young adults. 00:18:01.41\00:18:04.65 So kind of the 18 to 35 Ish a dream just had some that are a 00:18:04.65\00:18:08.42 bit older. But starting this fall, we're going to expand our 00:18:08.42\00:18:11.45 10 states. It's open to all adults. So 18 and over can come 00:18:11.45\00:18:16.22 all rights, 13 weeks. So now it's accessible to 00:18:16.22\00:18:18.86 international students because that's within the visitors the 00:18:18.86\00:18:21.50 so window. Yeah, international students can now come it 00:18:21.50\00:18:26.10 shorter. So it's less of a time commitment and it's less 00:18:26.10\00:18:29.70 expensive because it shorter. And so so many people had such 00:18:29.70\00:18:33.64 a life, transforming experience, nearly 50 people. 00:18:33.64\00:18:36.11 I think since we've started, we wanted more to have that 00:18:36.11\00:18:39.15 experience and we decided what is it that would keep people 00:18:39.15\00:18:42.18 from coming? And can we address that and how we design the 00:18:42.18\00:18:44.89 program starting this fall? That's kind of the new format 00:18:44.89\00:18:48.79 that we're going to plummet. Why the name core? Where does 00:18:48.79\00:18:51.36 where does that come from? Yes. So the name core. It's not 00:18:51.36\00:18:55.10 an acronym. We kind of book to the system on that kind of 00:18:55.10\00:18:57.83 like, yeah, our goal was we wanted to get people rooted in 00:18:57.83\00:19:01.74 the core of what Christianity and haven't his is all about. 00:19:01.74\00:19:04.71 Okay. That is knowing Jesus and his character personally and 00:19:04.71\00:19:08.44 helping them to strengthen the core of their experience by 00:19:08.44\00:19:12.48 building that intimate relationship. So that's kind of 00:19:12.48\00:19:14.68 the idea. The core, the amnesty message is Christ and him 00:19:14.68\00:19:17.69 crucified and strengthen the core, their personal experience 00:19:17.69\00:19:21.39 by knowing him. 00:19:21.39\00:19:22.89 >> And then the man, you know, it's interesting as we were 00:19:22.89\00:19:24.36 talking, I think you're identifying with Mattie 28 in 00:19:24.36\00:19:28.43 the way that may be hasn't been mentioned before because Jesus 00:19:28.43\00:19:32.90 says to them 00:19:32.90\00:19:34.24 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded 00:19:34.24\00:19:37.17 you in order for you to teach people to teach people to 00:19:37.17\00:19:40.88 observe the things that he has come in. But you must be 00:19:40.88\00:19:43.51 observing than yourself. Yeah. So that's what you're 00:19:43.51\00:19:46.21 doing. So the core evangelists and program absolute all 00:19:46.21\00:19:50.49 they learn to observe it. They learn to do it. And now 00:19:50.49\00:19:53.59 when you teach it to others, they say will wife, they can 00:19:53.59\00:19:57.06 say what? What should I do if you're not doing it? So this is 00:19:57.06\00:20:00.43 a wonderful, wonderful program. And you have a video. We do 00:20:00.43\00:20:04.17 have video. So we want to go to that right now and get a a 00:20:04.17\00:20:07.90 flash look at core. 00:20:07.90\00:20:10.77 >> One of the things that have really appreciated being here 00:20:10.77\00:20:13.38 or is that it's not just nitty gritty reality classes, but it 00:20:13.38\00:20:17.58 dives into practical issues like relationships 00:20:17.58\00:20:20.95 have better. Mental has opened my eyes to be seen how much 00:20:20.95\00:20:25.52 Jesus sacrificed to have me living here today and asked to 00:20:25.52\00:20:29.96 go. They would have even like. 00:20:29.96\00:20:31.49 >> He's on the song only for one scene or in the whole human 00:20:31.49\00:20:35.80 race. 00:20:35.80\00:20:36.77 >> There should never be. 00:20:36.77\00:20:39.30 >> And our lives when show 00:20:39.30\00:20:47.34 which there's things that I wasn't sure of that now for 00:20:47.34\00:20:52.11 sure. And especially that I'm able to teach other people, 00:20:52.11\00:20:55.72 I feel much more comfortable and confident that really so 00:20:55.72\00:21:03.56 financial state. 00:21:03.56\00:21:05.56 >> Amen, Amen. And you saw there the Web page and we're 00:21:11.27\00:21:13.87 going to talk about that in a moment. So we encourage you to 00:21:13.87\00:21:16.71 prepare to write that down. It was kind of quick there, 00:21:16.71\00:21:19.21 but we want you to prepared to write it down in a moment so 00:21:19.21\00:21:22.84 that it what do you think? 00:21:22.84\00:21:24.11 >> Yeah, it is. Says work your faith in your faith on your 00:21:24.11\00:21:28.38 faith. Find your calling change the World Bank Summit next 00:21:28.38\00:21:31.85 month. Well, I saw 2 young men in that video that we have here 00:21:31.85\00:21:35.79 with us. 00:21:35.79\00:21:37.19 I am blessed to be next to you guys. All to blessing to be 00:21:37.19\00:21:42.20 here. Haha, as young people it well, we have where parents of 00:21:42.20\00:21:46.70 2 young men as well and it is our desire for them to have 00:21:46.70\00:21:52.87 that relationship with the Lloyd. We can teach the Bible 00:21:52.87\00:21:56.28 stories at home. We can have the family worship and all. 00:21:56.28\00:21:59.61 But it comes to the point that every person has to follow 00:21:59.61\00:22:03.69 Christ because it is they're God that mom and dad's God. 00:22:03.69\00:22:08.69 So when you the side that you want the God that your parents 00:22:08.69\00:22:14.86 introduced you to to be your own personal, that which one of 00:22:14.86\00:22:19.30 you would like to respond? 00:22:19.30\00:22:22.17 >> Well, I can go ahead. So actually, I did not drop a 00:22:22.17\00:22:25.47 dentist. I didn't even Grove Christian and I kind of had a a 00:22:25.47\00:22:30.08 journey. One of my own. I'll tell you about it. I was 00:22:30.08\00:22:33.65 actually just walking down the street when I came across a big 00:22:33.65\00:22:36.42 error from this utility in the middle of the road and look at 00:22:36.42\00:22:39.59 the air and that look at what is pointing to. And it was a 00:22:39.59\00:22:42.52 church, OK? And I had no idea anything about that church and 00:22:42.52\00:22:48.13 I started going and it would turn out to be the 7th Day 00:22:48.13\00:22:50.57 Adventist Church and little by little. I just completely grew 00:22:50.57\00:22:54.54 my faith and it from right there. That's God. God brought 00:22:54.54\00:22:59.41 me to the church and 00:22:59.41\00:23:00.58 >> can transform my life. When you decided to visit that 00:23:00.58\00:23:03.75 church, how was it? I mean, what? What was going through 00:23:03.75\00:23:07.22 your head? Never been to some of their Venice church and here 00:23:07.22\00:23:11.89 you're looking for direction. So you take it as a sign from 00:23:11.89\00:23:15.26 God. Yeah, okay. He's pointing me. This is still way Waukee 00:23:15.26\00:23:19.19 him it right. So there comes a moment. They have to make that 00:23:19.19\00:23:22.86 decision. How will help you to feel? 00:23:22.86\00:23:25.40 >> Well, actually, I heard God physically say go here. And so, 00:23:25.40\00:23:30.91 yeah, the Lord, I was like, wow, OK, so I I got to go here. 00:23:30.91\00:23:34.44 Something something is in this church. And yeah, now I know 00:23:34.44\00:23:37.35 what it is. And it's it's everything. 00:23:37.35\00:23:39.18 >> Yeah. The Lord's money. Part of the story. He went on 00:23:39.18\00:23:41.42 Sunday because he just knew there's a church in God said 00:23:41.42\00:23:43.59 goes, he shows up Sunday morning and the ones they're 00:23:43.59\00:23:45.85 always there. And so then he caught on in the next Sabbath 00:23:45.85\00:23:48.86 is whenever he had his first ever to tend to them and thank 00:23:48.86\00:23:51.63 side. So you made that decision for yourself? 00:23:51.63\00:23:53.86 >> Yes, nobody they listen. Mom around to say, oh, yeah, 00:23:53.86\00:23:57.00 which no, definitely not race the light. He works in 00:23:57.00\00:24:01.84 mysterious ways and he knows what we need at the very moment 00:24:01.84\00:24:06.57 that we needed to know. What was your crossroads, what 00:24:06.57\00:24:09.68 you're going through in your personal life. But it was the 00:24:09.68\00:24:12.68 moment where you are paying attention to God's direction. 00:24:12.68\00:24:16.42 So then what happened with you? How the Chew Kong to come to 00:24:16.42\00:24:20.39 the conclusion? Hey, I love God. I do one. Got to be my 00:24:20.39\00:24:25.06 personal God. 00:24:25.06\00:24:26.46 >> Well, you know, Allan and I are kind of on offense. It 00:24:26.46\00:24:29.00 sides of that day call really offensive side of we're Allen 00:24:29.00\00:24:34.40 wasn't raised as an out of this. I was raised as not. 00:24:34.40\00:24:37.17 So my life how I thankfully I grew up and wonderful family to 00:24:37.17\00:24:42.41 her. It's a mom 00:24:42.41\00:24:44.55 went to church all my life. And I'm, you know, did the 00:24:44.55\00:24:47.72 church thing. My parents were always very involved with the 00:24:47.72\00:24:50.62 church. And so that was just kind of the norm, right? 00:24:50.62\00:24:53.49 And and so, of course, as when you're young, it's just what 00:24:53.49\00:24:58.69 you do right to go along with what your person as you were 00:24:58.69\00:25:02.26 saying earlier, there comes a point where we have to 00:25:02.26\00:25:05.43 make that decision. Yes, from 00:25:05.43\00:25:08.44 this isn't just that the religion of my parents, this is 00:25:08.44\00:25:11.64 now my religion that for me in a lot of ways, it wasn't a 00:25:11.64\00:25:17.15 singular point. The prom, 00:25:17.15\00:25:19.95 if you're familiar with the book steps to Christ, the 00:25:19.95\00:25:22.18 author talks about it in one place in the books. Talk about 00:25:22.18\00:25:25.99 how a person may not be able to trace all the points in their 00:25:25.99\00:25:29.56 Christian experience. And you have like a decided point of 00:25:29.56\00:25:32.36 conversion. But that doesn't mean they're not covered it. 00:25:32.36\00:25:35.10 Although I will say for me, there were a number of 00:25:35.10\00:25:37.87 different things growing up, which kind of led me in a 00:25:37.87\00:25:40.34 direction of being like, yes, I want to follow God, mom, 00:25:40.34\00:25:44.01 the first was probably going to a youth Bible camp when I was 00:25:44.01\00:25:46.54 younger that had an emphasis on a bible study. And that kind of 00:25:46.54\00:25:51.41 set the emphasis for me that like you should start your 00:25:51.41\00:25:54.78 Bible right on. And then I remember 00:25:54.78\00:25:57.95 the U.S. probably most specific point was actually at a camp 00:25:57.95\00:26:01.52 meeting where the theme of the weekend was talking about 00:26:01.52\00:26:07.36 owning your faith, not just having the faith that your 00:26:07.36\00:26:10.63 parents are making their own. That was when I was about 14. 00:26:10.63\00:26:13.80 And I remember that as being kind of a specific point of 00:26:13.80\00:26:16.97 like this is 00:26:16.97\00:26:18.57 this is something I I want to do. I want to be a 4th at a 00:26:18.57\00:26:21.81 minimum. And so growing up in that environment, a good 00:26:21.81\00:26:26.65 Christian home. I had many influences. Yeah, I'm obviously 00:26:26.65\00:26:30.95 there's there's other aspects of, you know, there's the good 00:26:30.95\00:26:34.19 aspect of that. There's also the aspect of sometimes you can 00:26:34.19\00:26:36.83 get lackadaisical. Sometimes, you know, you do you make 00:26:36.83\00:26:40.33 decisions for Christ, but then you go and you just do life. 00:26:40.33\00:26:43.53 And then there's other struggles that come, you know, 00:26:43.53\00:26:46.33 maybe we can talk about that later. As we can said, the 00:26:46.33\00:26:48.67 other aspect programmers, 00:26:48.67\00:26:51.94 there's other things that you have to grow and work through 00:26:51.94\00:26:54.24 as you are a Christian growing up. I just because you grew up 00:26:54.24\00:26:57.81 in a Christian home run with the Christian police system. 00:26:57.81\00:27:00.92 That doesn't mean that everything in your life. 00:27:00.92\00:27:03.08 It's all puppies and residents. Exactly. That's right. Exactly. 00:27:03.08\00:27:06.39 Island, I want to know 00:27:06.39\00:27:09.06 one made you. 00:27:09.06\00:27:10.53 >> How did you find out what made you decide to go to court? 00:27:10.53\00:27:13.70 I mean, did you you live in the area? The how did you hear 00:27:13.70\00:27:16.63 about and how what made you decide to do so ended up going 00:27:16.63\00:27:19.77 to camp meeting? Okay, the first a year that I was a 00:27:19.77\00:27:23.44 dentist and it was such a wonderful experience because I 00:27:23.44\00:27:26.81 was for 10 days and just everything was complete. 00:27:26.81\00:27:30.51 Just absolute crisis like a man and I loved it. And I'm also at 00:27:30.51\00:27:34.78 the time I was trying to share with others, my faith, yes, 00:27:34.78\00:27:38.22 and sometimes their B a they were just bring up points. 00:27:38.22\00:27:42.32 And I couldn't really defend myself very well. And I'm sick 00:27:42.32\00:27:45.26 of me. I just need to become better at this. Well, I can't 00:27:45.26\00:27:48.23 meeting the U.S. was speaking and he said, hey, if you're a 00:27:48.23\00:27:51.90 young person and you want to learn how to be more effective 00:27:51.90\00:27:55.34 and sharing your faith with others, you should come and 00:27:55.34\00:27:58.27 come to court for 9 months and salt thinking, yes, that's 00:27:58.27\00:28:01.14 exactly like what I want to be like. I think I got actually 00:28:01.14\00:28:03.65 send him to that came to us from and Laura. Excellent. 00:28:03.65\00:28:07.08 And that was it was for Gin ya at the conference meeting. 00:28:07.08\00:28:11.12 So that kept me was how I long to see that 10 days, 10 days 00:28:11.12\00:28:14.36 that I spoke for or 3 or 4 them and that I did the youth 00:28:14.36\00:28:17.73 meetings during the day and then some of the evening when 00:28:17.73\00:28:20.36 he saw the evening meeting next month. 00:28:20.36\00:28:22.80 >> But a young person watching this program right now, they're 00:28:22.80\00:28:26.23 like, oh, man, they look so nice and trim and proper. 00:28:26.23\00:28:29.04 And so the with that and of course, a look at today and 00:28:29.04\00:28:34.18 he's like, wow, that's so wonderful meter right there. 00:28:34.18\00:28:36.98 His life has been in order all his life. No need to fight. 00:28:36.98\00:28:40.85 Yeah, I do know that you have your own testimony. So if you 00:28:40.85\00:28:46.89 can just say a glimpse of how you found out about the 7th Day 00:28:46.89\00:28:51.06 Adventists, yeah. 00:28:51.06\00:28:52.53 >> They withhold doctrines. Sure. I I grew up very close to 00:28:52.53\00:28:55.83 here 30 minutes or so on to this area. So this is home for 00:28:55.83\00:28:59.80 me. Yes, and had never heard of the 7th avenues for 21 years. 00:28:59.80\00:29:04.17 And there are 3ABN, in fact, one of the relationship to head 00:29:04.17\00:29:09.01 in high school. Their house was right next to not far from the 00:29:09.01\00:29:11.85 Marion, 70 at a church. But I every time I drove by, I just 00:29:11.85\00:29:15.08 saw test on the church site and might my kind of church 00:29:15.08\00:29:18.92 backgrounds Baptist. So I just knew it was bad. Timing of it 00:29:18.92\00:29:21.92 never 00:29:21.92\00:29:22.99 clicked for me. And my dad actually begin watching 3ABN 00:29:22.99\00:29:27.86 and encourage me to start watching it. And I thought 00:29:27.86\00:29:31.17 never heard this before. But that's what that excess an 00:29:31.17\00:29:33.84 never heard this before. But that's what the tech says. 00:29:33.84\00:29:36.10 And so that's kind of opened my eyes to AV and his Doug 00:29:36.10\00:29:39.24 Bachelor's most amazing prophecies series that he did 00:29:39.24\00:29:41.48 it in 2006 was was big for me as I was never heard. This is 00:29:41.48\00:29:46.15 so clear. And then and Dash 6 discover prophecy series. 00:29:46.15\00:29:49.58 He did also around 2006 00:29:49.58\00:29:52.19 and as some time went on, eventually became more and more 00:29:52.19\00:29:55.22 clear visited here and connect with fellow McCain and others. 00:29:55.22\00:29:58.63 And yeah, yeah, it's been quite a journey, but eventually went 00:29:58.63\00:30:02.63 to the rise program in 2010, yes, and decided. You know 00:30:02.63\00:30:05.67 what, this is it. This is this is this is a movement of 00:30:05.67\00:30:08.20 destiny. And I need to make a decision. And so I went through 00:30:08.20\00:30:11.97 disciple ship program like they did and seeing other young 00:30:11.97\00:30:14.91 people on fire, as you're alluding to seeing a solid 00:30:14.91\00:30:18.21 healthy church in sun or when the Sun River was passed during 00:30:18.21\00:30:21.32 and having all of my unresolved questions about AV into some 00:30:21.32\00:30:24.75 finally answered. Hey, this is it. And so I've been a ministry 00:30:24.75\00:30:28.66 ever since I was 2010. So a man in the ministry for 13, 14 00:30:28.66\00:30:33.13 years now. 00:30:33.13\00:30:34.23 >> And time based on the line doesn't has you know what it 00:30:34.23\00:30:37.73 was that same year as 2008, I guess 1000. Wow, I know. 00:30:37.73\00:30:41.70 I'll say yes. So. 00:30:41.70\00:30:45.37 >> Now speaking to Ethan, how did you find that a buck or and 00:30:45.37\00:30:50.08 what made you decide? I think I want to go there. It's a 9 00:30:50.08\00:30:53.15 month nine-month commitment. Yes, so I let's see if it goes 00:30:53.15\00:30:58.12 back a little ways. D was speaking at a G why he 00:30:58.12\00:31:02.99 northwest young adults conference way back in 2018. 00:31:02.99\00:31:08.43 And that was right around the time, of course, just starting. 00:31:08.43\00:31:10.83 And so he he was speaking at the conference and he shared 00:31:10.83\00:31:13.47 about this new evangelism program that they were 00:31:13.47\00:31:15.67 starting. Well, 00:31:15.67\00:31:17.84 I hadn't really, you know, there were times when I thought 00:31:17.84\00:31:20.98 about, you know, maybe I should be a pastor or something like 00:31:20.98\00:31:23.35 that. I kind of went back and forth and as kids do it, 00:31:23.35\00:31:26.88 what should I do with my life and yet you want to be a 00:31:26.88\00:31:29.08 fireman? Yeah, I want to be a plumber. Exactly. And 00:31:29.08\00:31:33.82 at some point in all of that, though, 00:31:33.82\00:31:36.52 I 00:31:36.52\00:31:37.96 kind of can't started coming to the conclusion that whatever I 00:31:37.96\00:31:40.66 do actually go to some sort of mission training school in 00:31:40.66\00:31:45.07 order to have the skills for ministry. You know, quite 00:31:45.07\00:31:49.27 frankly, we talked about Matthew. 28, I read that verse 00:31:49.27\00:31:52.31 at a fairly young age and was convicted like this is 00:31:52.31\00:31:55.08 something for everybody that we should go and make disciples of 00:31:55.08\00:31:57.95 all nations for. And so 00:31:57.95\00:32:01.75 once I got a little bit older, I didn't I know my mom and 00:32:01.75\00:32:05.52 encourage me, you know, you should go to something like 00:32:05.52\00:32:08.16 that of the people in my life and suggested he could think. 00:32:08.16\00:32:10.99 And I kind of decided be a good thing, even though I'm not 00:32:10.99\00:32:14.30 going to be a pastor, I should go to some sort of, you know, 00:32:14.30\00:32:17.97 arise Africa, something right. And so then I remember 00:32:17.97\00:32:22.90 this program that DEA has started and I thought about it. 00:32:22.90\00:32:26.81 And then 00:32:26.81\00:32:28.98 in 2021, I think I was at UIC Conference and I was I decided, 00:32:28.98\00:32:34.55 yes, it's next year. I should go to some sort of program with 00:32:34.55\00:32:39.49 where I was in my how it all is all playing out. 00:32:39.49\00:32:43.96 And so at that conference I actually want around, you know, 00:32:43.96\00:32:47.50 it's a it's kind of like a trade show. There's different 00:32:47.50\00:32:49.76 ministries. Yeah, guys have been sure that in all. And 00:32:49.76\00:32:54.57 there's a bunch of different schools that kind of like, 00:32:54.57\00:32:57.17 alright, yes, increase in car was there as well. And I 00:32:57.17\00:33:01.11 actually went around from booth to booth. And I was basically 00:33:01.11\00:33:04.38 like pitch me, you know, why should I go? Why should I? 00:33:04.38\00:33:06.65 Yeah, oh, yeah, that's a good thing. And so I add previously 00:33:06.65\00:33:11.42 it I think I'd previously talked to De did encourage me. 00:33:11.42\00:33:14.46 You know, I'm praying for you. You know, whatever you your 00:33:14.46\00:33:17.29 decision is, here's this program, whatever. And so I 00:33:17.29\00:33:21.43 talked to different programs and I talked to D and I after 00:33:21.43\00:33:26.84 hearing all the pitches. I pretty much at that point. 00:33:26.84\00:33:30.61 It made the decision. Yeah, I think or is what fits what I'm 00:33:30.61\00:33:34.04 looking for mass and because of the broad 00:33:34.04\00:33:38.65 the broad perspective of the of the program on the very 00:33:38.65\00:33:42.02 different subjects and things that wouldn't talk about the 00:33:42.02\00:33:44.45 program, as was stated earlier, this was a nine-month program. 00:33:44.45\00:33:49.02 It's a going to be a little bit shorter now. But at the time it 00:33:49.02\00:33:53.43 was a nine-month program. And so 00:33:53.43\00:33:55.80 I I was like 9 months of I get for now, Candice, I get to 00:33:55.80\00:34:00.34 learn how to buy work. And I've got classes from a bunch of the 00:34:00.34\00:34:04.17 different teachers. And I think we'll get into that a little 00:34:04.17\00:34:06.11 bit later. Yes, but I'm just because of the varied aspect to 00:34:06.11\00:34:09.51 the program. I was like, yeah, I think this is what I should 00:34:09.51\00:34:11.95 do. And I know the one thing I knew for certain was that we 00:34:11.95\00:34:16.42 talked about here in Matthew. 28 was for me that I'm someone 00:34:16.42\00:34:19.69 who should be making samples formation, praise the Lord. 00:34:19.69\00:34:23.16 >> And there's a lot of wonderful things. I really like 00:34:23.16\00:34:26.23 that the work plan, the campus saying the Mission War. 00:34:26.23\00:34:31.83 >> Because the gospel, this mission is not for us to sit in 00:34:31.83\00:34:36.84 one corner and enjoying it all for ourselves. So but you want 00:34:36.84\00:34:40.58 to serve in Cuba, be it whatever country could be in 00:34:40.58\00:34:44.65 the backyard near nickel neighborhood. There is some 00:34:44.65\00:34:47.75 mission that we need to fulfill and then you train them with 00:34:47.75\00:34:51.35 the Bible work worked. So that brings it all together. And 00:34:51.35\00:34:56.56 that was in 9 months. And some folks said, I'm glad you're 00:34:56.56\00:34:59.59 making it a shorter program, though, because now they may be 00:34:59.59\00:35:03.20 able to join in. So after all these experiences and all 00:35:03.20\00:35:09.34 the Lord has shown you, this is the way walk in it. You are 00:35:09.34\00:35:13.31 saying that how it all got started and how the 00:35:13.31\00:35:16.18 questionings game, where it's the helper. All you have the 00:35:16.18\00:35:20.75 best business partner. He says what's with you? And we'll see 00:35:20.75\00:35:24.55 you in Jesus trying to figure out the program. And from what 00:35:24.55\00:35:28.49 I'm listening in, the testimonies that were about to 00:35:28.49\00:35:31.06 hear, we must see how the Lord has manifested in ordained this 00:35:31.06\00:35:36.10 ministry for the young people. Now we have 2 young men here. 00:35:36.10\00:35:40.90 But in the footage, I think I saw some media ladies. We 00:35:40.90\00:35:44.27 anticipate us well. So it's for everyone. That's right. 00:35:44.27\00:35:47.88 >> Yeah. And we just didn't have any alumni that are able 00:35:47.88\00:35:50.55 to come visit. And so they were females hasn't been interviewed 00:35:50.55\00:35:55.78 before already. So right. And a peak was one of our media 00:35:55.78\00:35:59.15 years ago, and he's a rich blessing to us. And even then 00:35:59.15\00:36:02.69 we interviewed her in a previous program. So, yes, 00:36:02.69\00:36:05.09 I think so. Island wife also attended the program. That was 00:36:05.09\00:36:08.63 a that to make sure mentioned that we had out well for him. 00:36:08.63\00:36:13.03 Yeah, I walk us through a a typical day at core. How what's 00:36:13.03\00:36:18.94 a typical day. So the way the program is run the last 5 years 00:36:18.94\00:36:22.78 is we have classes Monday to Thursday. I'm just in the 00:36:22.78\00:36:25.78 mornings. Starting this fall will have an additional 2, 00:36:25.78\00:36:28.88 our class in the afternoons Monday Tuesday and Thursday. 00:36:28.88\00:36:33.36 And but we have like a 15 minute break. After each hours, 00:36:33.36\00:36:36.59 we give good long breaks. They can go for a walk in 00:36:36.59\00:36:39.03 water, kind of clear the head and it's not like really dense. 00:36:39.03\00:36:45.57 You need it 00:36:45.57\00:36:46.80 calculator an abacus, you know, to figure it out like it's it's 00:36:46.80\00:36:50.37 it's designed to train laypeople to grow in their 00:36:50.37\00:36:52.81 theological in mission, ul understanding. So who walk to 00:36:52.81\00:36:55.88 the hole at this message during those class periods? Daniel 00:36:55.88\00:36:59.08 revelation, prophecy, 3 angels messages 00:36:59.08\00:37:01.95 and the health message, mental health intensive how to preach 00:37:01.95\00:37:07.02 had to get Bible studies. He's very all encompassing 00:37:07.02\00:37:09.46 practical stuff. What happens when you fall in failing 00:37:09.46\00:37:12.43 ministry had his God view. You had to work through that 00:37:12.43\00:37:15.30 how to have godly relationships and prepare for marriage, 00:37:15.30\00:37:17.87 an all of that. So we have it's very, very comprehensive. 00:37:17.87\00:37:21.14 But so daily classes are happening generally. Now we 00:37:21.14\00:37:24.91 have a 2 and a half hour break from the last class in the 00:37:24.91\00:37:27.18 morning till the afternoon class. You've got lunch, 00:37:27.18\00:37:30.11 you know, exercise, you know, you go hike the Appalachian 00:37:30.11\00:37:32.51 Trail, get some rest, do some reading, working your homework 00:37:32.51\00:37:36.95 and we have outreach on Sundays and Wednesdays. And so that's 00:37:36.95\00:37:40.26 what we're going to be doing. Community working Bible work 00:37:40.26\00:37:42.92 and any bridge events for the evangelistic series and things 00:37:42.92\00:37:46.53 like that. Friday's are off their off days. The usually do 00:37:46.53\00:37:49.76 laundry. They want to go shopping or go hang out or just 00:37:49.76\00:37:53.10 hang out as a group. They do that. And then savvis were in 00:37:53.10\00:37:57.17 churches. And so we usually split the group and half half 00:37:57.17\00:38:00.51 the students go to one church. Half the students go to another 00:38:00.51\00:38:02.74 church and the integrate. So they're teaching Sabha 00:38:02.74\00:38:06.15 school. They're being greeters there, leading song service to 00:38:06.15\00:38:09.35 learning heavily prayer time and hands on. They're learning 00:38:09.35\00:38:13.25 how to actually do what's being taught in classes opposed to 00:38:13.25\00:38:16.93 lots of class and then they just attending a church. 00:38:16.93\00:38:19.63 That's right. They actually apply this and they're giving 00:38:19.63\00:38:22.23 the worships say every morning when worship happens in the 00:38:22.23\00:38:25.13 program, students of the one preaching through writing 00:38:25.13\00:38:27.94 devotionals and they preach them a lot of experience in 00:38:27.94\00:38:30.94 public speaking. They leave the song service in the prayer and 00:38:30.94\00:38:34.08 worship time. So it's very, very hands on and lots of 00:38:34.08\00:38:38.58 learning and application altogether. 00:38:38.58\00:38:41.15 >> I really important part of this. Let's talk to Allen for a 00:38:41.15\00:38:43.69 moment. Alan. Yeah, you went through the program. What would 00:38:43.69\00:38:46.76 you say was the highlight for you if you think about the 00:38:46.76\00:38:49.96 Corps program, this something say, wow, this really bless me. 00:38:49.96\00:38:54.60 What would you say that would be art through this too many 00:38:54.60\00:38:57.00 things. Hut just getting to know Jesus on a really personal 00:38:57.00\00:39:03.77 level. I just it's just everyone use that experience. 00:39:03.77\00:39:08.48 Yes, I'm doing the Bible work, sharing Jesus with others. 00:39:08.48\00:39:12.71 And I'm seeing seeing that they are grown in their faith also. 00:39:12.71\00:39:17.89 And then I would say, like the with the warships and that the 00:39:17.89\00:39:22.42 preaching at the church is getting that opportunity to 00:39:22.42\00:39:24.59 because I kind of like I always want to do that. And but 00:39:24.59\00:39:27.76 actually being taught how to not a factor that I'm preaching 00:39:27.76\00:39:32.77 to the best public speaking skills and getting those 00:39:32.77\00:39:36.50 opportunities during the morning to worship in actually 00:39:36.50\00:39:39.84 going to the churches and doing the evangelism series and 00:39:39.84\00:39:43.95 preaching there. Also, I would have to say that those are just 00:39:43.95\00:39:46.75 some of them mass. Amanda Hutton full. He gave us a lot. 00:39:46.75\00:39:50.95 >> Haha, I love the fact that you focus on the relationship 00:39:50.95\00:39:55.22 that yes, when you have a healthy relationship, you 00:39:55.22\00:39:59.09 nurture that relationship. And so the relationship that 00:39:59.09\00:40:03.70 you have to developed, we all have a relationship with Christ 00:40:03.70\00:40:08.80 as we're growing answered learning. But it comes to to 00:40:08.80\00:40:13.27 adulthood and we were focus and the adults, young adults here. 00:40:13.27\00:40:18.75 But it this goes blanket for all ages. How do you develop a 00:40:18.75\00:40:23.42 healthy relationship? Because a lot of people from don't have 00:40:23.42\00:40:27.79 the same town upbringing of a nice, you know, family that 00:40:27.79\00:40:33.56 everything is all together, but a lot of challenges to the 00:40:33.56\00:40:38.63 families face. So what is it about core 00:40:38.63\00:40:43.71 that you teach 00:40:43.71\00:40:46.17 to them the students to develop that relationship? And how do 00:40:46.17\00:40:50.65 you know that? Well, I've met what I need it. You know, 00:40:50.65\00:40:55.08 this is where I wanted to be in the relationship. It's a great 00:40:55.08\00:40:57.99 question. 00:40:57.99\00:40:59.42 >> I'm I'm I'm fully convinced that true effective ministry is 00:40:59.42\00:41:03.29 burst out of the overflow. If your personal experience 00:41:03.29\00:41:05.86 with Jesus, I'm just giving people the formula, say this in 00:41:05.86\00:41:09.60 the Bible study and do this 00:41:09.60\00:41:11.77 isn't near as effective as teaching them how to connect 00:41:11.77\00:41:14.44 for themselves in the overflow of that is what makes the 00:41:14.44\00:41:16.94 ministry effective. So for us, we do a lot of disentangling. 00:41:16.94\00:41:22.51 There's a lot of lies that were believing about ourselves and 00:41:22.51\00:41:25.28 about God. Obviously, you guys know this that the past or 00:41:25.28\00:41:28.78 department here gets an alarming amount of phone calls 00:41:28.78\00:41:31.29 from 7th Day Adventists adult and pastors who have 0 sure 00:41:31.29\00:41:34.62 into salvation that. Yes, you're right. And and so we've 00:41:34.62\00:41:38.79 done enough. 37, I think of our academies and I I see the same 00:41:38.79\00:41:43.00 issues everywhere that I go. And so we designed the program 00:41:43.00\00:41:46.47 to deal with the issues I kept seeing in ministry. And and 00:41:46.47\00:41:49.97 some of that was what I learned being next to here. And so we 00:41:49.97\00:41:53.21 give them a clear understanding of who God is and his true 00:41:53.21\00:41:57.41 character of love him and how he views them in spite of where 00:41:57.41\00:42:01.12 they may find themselves kind of disentangling the 00:42:01.12\00:42:04.09 performance mentality that if I just do these things like 00:42:04.09\00:42:07.76 bending machine religion, right? If I do these things as 00:42:07.76\00:42:10.29 God wants, you can then he'll love me. Then he'll except me. 00:42:10.29\00:42:13.40 We're okay. 00:42:13.40\00:42:14.66 We have to kind of tear down some of those worldviews and 00:42:14.66\00:42:17.27 rebuild them on a biblical foundation. This cry centered. 00:42:17.27\00:42:20.57 And what I love about the way that we've done things is we're 00:42:20.57\00:42:22.77 not 00:42:22.77\00:42:23.81 they're just weird false dichotomy, Nav and his that 00:42:23.81\00:42:26.34 it's either like Jesus or doctrine. You know, like we can 00:42:26.34\00:42:29.61 preach the Gospel, we can focus on doctrine. I'm of the mind 00:42:29.61\00:42:32.98 that prophecy doctrine and everything. If it isn't 00:42:32.98\00:42:36.22 centered in Christ character, it's not near as powerful as it 00:42:36.22\00:42:39.02 could be. That's right. And so by saturating every avenue is 00:42:39.02\00:42:42.76 teaching with the true heart of God 00:42:42.76\00:42:45.19 while teaching them how to be a solid biblical ave and test 00:42:45.19\00:42:48.76 their falling in love Jesus, a man. The byproduct of that is 00:42:48.76\00:42:52.17 that and then we have practical classes showing them how to 00:42:52.17\00:42:55.64 engage in or in a meaningful prayerful prayer life, how to 00:42:55.64\00:42:58.91 engage in a meaningful devotional life, how to 00:42:58.91\00:43:01.58 actually see the heart of God. And so when we walk through 00:43:01.58\00:43:04.41 each of the fundamental beliefs or profits here so forth for 00:43:04.41\00:43:07.48 bring specific teachers or classes, I'm teaching to 00:43:07.48\00:43:10.99 highlight God's character every step of the way. So it doesn't 00:43:10.99\00:43:13.19 feel like, well, we have class on doctrine, but that doesn't 00:43:13.19\00:43:15.99 help me grow closer to Jesus. Everything we're teaching 00:43:15.99\00:43:19.79 emphasizes that a man. And so because of that, that's the 00:43:19.79\00:43:22.60 fruit. And that's kind of what we showed the video about the 00:43:22.60\00:43:24.53 classes at it. That's what we keep seeing is it's one of the 00:43:24.53\00:43:28.20 big components of the why the program is successful. Who is 00:43:28.20\00:43:31.54 through the instructions side. They're seeing a new picture of 00:43:31.54\00:43:34.18 God and the falling in love with him and by default. 00:43:34.18\00:43:37.18 They want to spend time with them. They want to read the 00:43:37.18\00:43:39.58 word. They want to pray. And now that overflow make some 00:43:39.58\00:43:43.12 kind of like Jeremiah, it's like a fire in my bones. 00:43:43.12\00:43:45.95 I can't shut it. All right. I need to share your man. 00:43:45.95\00:43:49.52 >> Could it be have that that people sorry that people say 00:43:49.52\00:43:54.13 that my relationship with the Lloyd has blocked home, 00:43:54.13\00:43:58.13 it could be bad. 00:43:58.13\00:43:59.47 >> Some people may feel that way certainly mean the way that 00:43:59.47\00:44:02.67 we've approached evangelism in or even public meetings. 00:44:02.67\00:44:05.84 We hear from so many of our own members who hear these 00:44:05.84\00:44:08.81 meetings, the students preaching. I preach them. 00:44:08.81\00:44:11.31 I never thought of it like that. 00:44:11.31\00:44:13.05 They're falling in love with the AV this message of being 00:44:13.05\00:44:15.15 revived themselves just by having this particular approach 00:44:15.15\00:44:19.35 to the message. Historically, that was something that we got 00:44:19.35\00:44:21.86 a resounding endorsement from a white that we should approach 00:44:21.86\00:44:24.56 of angels in that way. Absolutely. Through WB, 00:44:24.56\00:44:26.70 Prescott in the mobile, he was doing an arm of the lowest 00:44:26.70\00:44:29.20 Rilya and in Battle Creek that he was preaching. Every aspect 00:44:29.20\00:44:32.77 of absenteeism is such a cry centered way that the opponents 00:44:32.77\00:44:36.07 of the message, their prejudices were being dealt 00:44:36.07\00:44:39.61 with without being argumentative. They were seeing 00:44:39.61\00:44:42.74 these people actually cry centered and our own members 00:44:42.74\00:44:45.21 were experiencing revival. So we drew from the inspiration 00:44:45.21\00:44:48.42 of what White was saying about what Prescott did and said, 00:44:48.42\00:44:51.75 why don't we run a school? The vandalism with the rezoning 00:44:51.75\00:44:54.86 endorsement to the spirit of prophecy. This is how we should 00:44:54.86\00:44:58.03 evangelism. Not the when the argument defend the faith 00:44:58.03\00:45:01.50 necessarily approach the most beautiful defensive. Haven't 00:45:01.50\00:45:05.57 his is cry centered haven't a man this biblical and so we 00:45:05.57\00:45:09.30 train them and that and that usually eliminates a lot of the 00:45:09.30\00:45:11.67 arc. Amen. I want to ask Ethan this time you are going to the 00:45:11.67\00:45:16.01 classes. I that there may have been many of these. 00:45:16.01\00:45:19.48 >> But see if there's one that stands out to you where you say 00:45:19.48\00:45:22.52 there was like now they say an aha moment that you say now I 00:45:22.52\00:45:26.55 understand this one that was there a moment like that or at 00:45:26.55\00:45:30.06 least one on that. You could show us or one that comes to 00:45:30.06\00:45:33.46 mind, right? Just straight off was not the class we had on 00:45:33.46\00:45:37.77 revelation. Bomb. 00:45:37.77\00:45:40.04 Do you is just talking about how you know, one of the 00:45:40.04\00:45:42.64 focuses of the program is is finding Christ in all of them 00:45:42.64\00:45:46.21 asked all of the ad's message like the Adventists message is 00:45:46.21\00:45:49.61 a very cry center think and every single doctrine. 00:45:49.61\00:45:54.22 James Rafferty heat all across America revelation. And the 00:45:54.22\00:45:57.82 first thing we started with was revelation. One talking about 00:45:57.82\00:46:01.96 how the book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ 00:46:01.96\00:46:06.66 is not the revelation of the anti Christ. Haha, even though 00:46:06.66\00:46:11.33 there's many things that get talked about and that both that 00:46:11.33\00:46:13.84 refer to get a price to all sorts of different things, 00:46:13.84\00:46:16.44 right. But you see in a very the very beginning of 00:46:16.44\00:46:20.44 revelation that the main point of this book is to draw people 00:46:20.44\00:46:25.91 closer to Jesus. That made an impact on me. 00:46:25.91\00:46:28.28 >> A man praise the Lord and many people are afraid of that 00:46:28.28\00:46:30.95 very but because of the symbols and and the teachings and that 00:46:30.95\00:46:37.06 is the character of Christ right there. 00:46:37.06\00:46:39.19 >> And yet of the nation and its many times because we've 00:46:39.19\00:46:41.80 lost that proper emphasis white spoke repeatedly about our need 00:46:41.80\00:46:46.23 to have this kind of supreme emphasis of the cross of Christ 00:46:46.23\00:46:49.90 was given a foundational vision early in her ministry of a 00:46:49.90\00:46:53.21 temple that was being upheld by one immense pillar, she says, 00:46:53.21\00:46:57.25 and that pillar tied to it was a lamb all mangled in bleeding. 00:46:57.25\00:47:01.72 And everyone seemed to know that was suffering on their 00:47:01.72\00:47:03.89 account. And the implication here is that the main structure 00:47:03.89\00:47:07.82 this to uphold the avid this message 00:47:07.82\00:47:10.36 is the cross is calvary, a man and so helping people to see 00:47:10.36\00:47:14.36 and experience that we've been intentional and who we have as 00:47:14.36\00:47:17.80 teachers as kind of subject matter. Experts, James, a 00:47:17.80\00:47:20.70 revelation or we've had McIntosh and Daniel this year, 00:47:20.70\00:47:24.17 Sebastien Braxton, but having different people teach with 00:47:24.17\00:47:27.71 that emphasis has been really important so that our students 00:47:27.71\00:47:30.41 actually get it doesn't feel like, well, when we talk about 00:47:30.41\00:47:33.31 prophecy, we have to take off that the Jesus entered had. 00:47:33.31\00:47:36.45 And then we put on our mathematician glasses for our 00:47:36.45\00:47:39.85 decoder ring or something else like you can talk about Jesus 00:47:39.85\00:47:43.79 when talking about anything and haven't his own man. And when 00:47:43.79\00:47:46.33 you do that, why tells us that that's where the true power of 00:47:46.33\00:47:49.83 any of those in doubled individual teachings comes when 00:47:49.83\00:47:52.67 its relation to this team. 00:47:52.67\00:47:54.50 And so we just felt like, well, she keeps getting these these 00:47:54.50\00:47:57.47 rezoning endorsements. Maybe we should try. And we've seen 00:47:57.47\00:48:01.91 tremendous fruit in the lives of the students and in the 00:48:01.91\00:48:05.11 churches that we work with and the communities that we engage 00:48:05.11\00:48:07.78 evangelists to click a man who will. How about if we hear? 00:48:07.78\00:48:10.72 >> Testimony that you would like to share about the school 00:48:10.72\00:48:14.46 and the experience you've had maybe can been seen or 00:48:14.46\00:48:17.23 preaching in the church is can you can you share in the face? 00:48:17.23\00:48:20.36 Who would like to start? 00:48:20.36\00:48:22.06 I see you. I see you. 00:48:22.06\00:48:23.30 >> Aha. Well, one of the first ones that comes to mind was 00:48:23.30\00:48:29.00 from Bible work. Well, actually, so here's one. 00:48:29.00\00:48:34.98 We had an evangelist experience at the program. We canvas 00:48:34.98\00:48:38.65 first, we 5 work and then towards that 00:48:38.65\00:48:41.72 and of the program, there's an evangelistic serious, which is 00:48:41.72\00:48:44.49 the student takes part in. And one of the important things 00:48:44.49\00:48:47.76 that they get a full-sized in presenting the evangelistic 00:48:47.76\00:48:51.29 series is some nights may be on preaching, but there's other 00:48:51.29\00:48:55.00 nights when I'm not preaching. What do you do when you're not 00:48:55.00\00:48:57.60 preaching? You should be intermingling with people who 00:48:57.60\00:49:00.34 are coming from the community, building those relationships 00:49:00.34\00:49:03.27 with them on. And so there there was a couple that came to 00:49:03.27\00:49:06.11 my church to I as I recall, I think they've are just looking 00:49:06.11\00:49:11.58 for a church. One Sabbath. They walk into church that 00:49:11.58\00:49:14.95 savage long. Behold, we're starting. I think we've had the 00:49:14.95\00:49:18.65 first meeting. So they miss like one meeting and they came 00:49:18.65\00:49:22.22 and we started talking with them. 00:49:22.22\00:49:25.79 One of the things that got emphasized in the program has 00:49:25.79\00:49:28.50 has Bible workers us that we need to be on the lookout for 00:49:28.50\00:49:31.63 new people in the church to sit with them to learn their story 00:49:31.63\00:49:35.30 to I'm just become friends with them or a friend. So 00:49:35.30\00:49:40.58 one thabit they come in, we make friends with them. And 00:49:40.58\00:49:43.48 then we say, hey, we've got this evangelistic series, 00:49:43.48\00:49:46.82 you should come to it. So they came and then they attended 00:49:46.82\00:49:51.25 their super interested. There were a couple of instances 00:49:51.25\00:49:55.96 where, you know, they weren't quite getting it and they're 00:49:55.96\00:49:58.49 like, hey, can we study this with you like after Paula can 00:49:58.49\00:50:01.83 read like a hash this out? So I remember going over the 70 00:50:01.83\00:50:05.90 weeks and seeing it cook for them. And then they actually 00:50:05.90\00:50:11.84 ended that I believe just getting baptized a couple of 00:50:11.84\00:50:14.68 months ago. Again, I'm so we've got to see that process of them 00:50:14.68\00:50:19.21 literally just walking into the church was being able to 00:50:19.21\00:50:22.08 disciple them, work with them and then they didn't get 00:50:22.08\00:50:26.35 baptized 00:50:26.35\00:50:28.06 at the end of that series, right, Ryan, they ended up 00:50:28.06\00:50:31.66 continuing at that church and the church we were working with 00:50:31.66\00:50:34.63 continued to disciple them, which is a really important 00:50:34.63\00:50:37.83 aspect of this type of ministry writing from any cause you can 00:50:37.83\00:50:42.87 you can have an evangelistic series. 00:50:42.87\00:50:45.57 And then if someone hasn't made a decision at the end of that 00:50:45.57\00:50:48.94 evangelist a curious is that all loss? No, it's not. The 00:50:48.94\00:50:52.71 church can continue to disciple that person. Will they make a 00:50:52.71\00:50:56.22 decision just exactly what happened. That's came that, 00:50:56.22\00:50:59.12 yeah, that church experience a huge revival by the Corps 00:50:59.12\00:51:02.19 program being there. It was a lovely group of people and a 00:51:02.19\00:51:05.26 great pastor and they were ready. And as we worked with 00:51:05.26\00:51:08.80 them repeatedly, the elders with tele conference president 00:51:08.80\00:51:12.77 when they would see him and others like. 00:51:12.77\00:51:14.54 >> This program is amazing that the entire atmosphere of our 00:51:14.54\00:51:18.11 church is electric. It's so much like they're very 00:51:18.11\00:51:21.48 welcoming and crew. The hospital group day for fees for 00:51:21.48\00:51:24.31 everything and have delicious food. But they were very, 00:51:24.31\00:51:27.82 very loving. But they took these principles of being 00:51:27.82\00:51:30.89 outreach oriented and so forth and that churches experienced a 00:51:30.89\00:51:34.22 tremendous revival is because they saw what God is doing in 00:51:34.22\00:51:36.99 these young people. I work in their communities and they 00:51:36.99\00:51:39.59 wanted to be involved, too. And so we're seeing churches 00:51:39.59\00:51:42.43 experience revival to not just individual members. Yeah, 00:51:42.43\00:51:45.60 I I like the fact that when you mentioned that you had a Bible 00:51:45.60\00:51:48.97 study. 00:51:48.97\00:51:50.44 >> Right after pot like our fellowship dinner. Yes. Usually 00:51:50.44\00:51:52.97 people want to take a man up, lacks duly activities, right? 00:51:52.97\00:51:57.25 He said something interesting. He said he saw it clicked for 00:51:57.25\00:52:01.48 yes when he was in the 70. Yes. So it's a blessing to see 00:52:01.48\00:52:05.85 though the transformation right in front of your eyes. And what 00:52:05.85\00:52:09.89 I notice here, one of the Commons that we have to hear is 00:52:09.89\00:52:14.10 what difference is it making in the lives of the students? 00:52:14.10\00:52:19.30 I believe that you come in with an idea into a school. And but 00:52:19.30\00:52:25.37 then when you are in the system, they knew the side, 00:52:25.37\00:52:29.98 all of this and this is what I've learned. And this is what 00:52:29.98\00:52:32.55 he has done for me. So that the same question that John, 00:52:32.55\00:52:36.42 that he did. 00:52:36.42\00:52:37.95 >> Were you guys? Yeah, I'm so actually mas. Kind of similar 00:52:37.95\00:52:40.66 to even if it does involve working with new people, 00:52:40.66\00:52:44.06 bring them into the church. And I think 00:52:44.06\00:52:46.09 so. Yeah. So my Bible partner, 9, we would go out in the 00:52:46.09\00:52:48.93 community and we will find people who want to do Bible 00:52:48.93\00:52:51.77 studies. Right? And then out of this people, we would we would 00:52:51.77\00:52:55.34 stay with them a week after week and then we'd eventually 00:52:55.34\00:52:58.17 invite them to the evangelistic series where we would all 00:52:58.17\00:53:01.91 partners to participate and preaching to them. 00:53:01.91\00:53:05.75 And I'm on the one of the very last meetings D gave a call to 00:53:05.75\00:53:10.79 say, hey, do you want you want to get baptized as anyway, 00:53:10.79\00:53:14.16 about ties and all of my students stood up and showed 00:53:14.16\00:53:18.76 interest in getting baptized. And I was just praying for for 00:53:18.76\00:53:22.16 one. I was like Dolly, just one and all of them stood up at 00:53:22.16\00:53:26.67 that moment. I knew I had I participated in helping them to 00:53:26.67\00:53:30.61 become closer to God in vain. I was like, that's a great 00:53:30.61\00:53:33.51 blessing. Yeah, expand. This is, you know, because a lot of 00:53:33.51\00:53:36.14 times you go to schools and like all the little bit of 00:53:36.14\00:53:38.35 practice and by working on a kind of move on like 00:53:38.35\00:53:41.18 repeatedly, we see students get to actually experience the 00:53:41.18\00:53:44.35 process of God using them. 00:53:44.35\00:53:46.86 >> Why we have many more stories, even got another 00:53:46.86\00:53:48.96 really powerful story that we can share after the break. 00:53:48.96\00:53:51.93 We have others. I want to there's a story about reclaim 00:53:51.93\00:53:54.66 church member that we want to share to this just been 00:53:54.66\00:53:57.53 powerful in in another a couple students stories just seeing 00:53:57.53\00:54:01.24 how this is actually working and making a dramatic 00:54:01.24\00:54:04.84 difference. But we just keep seeing that that 00:54:04.84\00:54:08.24 not only has got giving you a call, but God wants you to 00:54:08.24\00:54:10.58 actually see that it can work. He can use you. Yeah. And so 00:54:10.58\00:54:13.21 you walk off the street have never won a soul. But you go 00:54:13.21\00:54:16.25 through a program like this and you actually get to be involved 00:54:16.25\00:54:18.65 as a coolly per with God and the leading someone from not 00:54:18.65\00:54:21.92 having that experience to making a decision for God's 00:54:21.92\00:54:24.89 church. And I'm helping the church to learn how to nurture 00:54:24.89\00:54:28.80 them and continue walking with him. 00:54:28.80\00:54:30.70 >> As this is a Matthew 28 blessing to be the same with 00:54:30.70\00:54:33.30 the words that I want to at this time because what some 00:54:33.30\00:54:37.47 people may not be able to stay with it. The second now we are 00:54:37.47\00:54:39.64 having a second, our blessing. So stick around, but we want to 00:54:39.64\00:54:42.61 make sure to get the contact information. Can you help us 00:54:42.61\00:54:45.71 with the contact information for core that and how people 00:54:45.71\00:54:49.58 can go to the Web page to center?
