So I 00:01:31.09\00:01:34.99 introduced yes, I I we have Doctor Andy Hunt Sacre, who is 00:01:34.99\00:01:40.43 the president of a U.S.. I good to have you. So for those of you tonight, 00:02:00.32\00:02:03.82 this going to be a great program. How do we know? 00:02:03.82\00:02:05.85 We've already prayed and asked the Holy See here for the last 00:02:05.85\00:02:08.99 things and on this program. So we want you to view if you 00:02:08.99\00:02:12.66 are not aware, maybe you're tuning in for the first time, 00:02:12.66\00:02:16.03 doesn't make any difference. What share it with the 00:02:16.03\00:02:18.27 nomination. You are. Yes, I was in the business and their 00:02:18.27\00:02:22.17 ministries in the business of people touching people around 00:02:22.17\00:02:26.71 the world, sharing the good news, the Lord Jesus Christ. 00:02:26.71\00:02:30.11 Now, what Christian doesn't want to be a part of this. 00:02:30.11\00:02:32.71 I know I do and have been for many, many years. So to begin 00:02:32.71\00:02:36.85 with what we're going to do, a doctor and is just maybe give a 00:02:36.85\00:02:40.32 little and role in each of you tell us about a s I and I think 00:02:40.32\00:02:45.06 people got to catch the vision here. And I started 1985. 00:02:45.06\00:02:49.86 And I think than you started a little earn. 83 in 1983, 00:02:49.86\00:02:53.70 OK, who wants to give us tell us about NSA? 00:02:53.70\00:02:57.31 >> You know, said again, it's just great to to be here and be 00:02:57.31\00:03:01.18 able to share. So it's time for those that do not know, stands 00:03:01.18\00:03:05.45 for Adventist Lehman Services and industries. 00:03:05.45\00:03:08.68 And I like what you said, Danny, you said spreading the 00:03:08.68\00:03:12.19 gospel around the wound and its eye has been focused on 00:03:12.19\00:03:16.83 spreading the gospel, not just mechanically, but because we're 00:03:16.83\00:03:20.60 all you know, you'll see that tonight. We're all passionate 00:03:20.60\00:03:23.80 about sharing Jesus Christ because he's done so much for 00:03:23.80\00:03:26.20 us. 00:03:26.20\00:03:27.44 And so just a little history on on a a sigh and then we'll hear 00:03:27.44\00:03:31.27 from Dennis was going to do a little bit about his testimony 00:03:31.27\00:03:34.71 and so with little down. But, 00:03:34.71\00:03:36.95 you know, it says in its its title, Lehman, 00:03:36.95\00:03:39.88 and it's the lead driven Libby lead ministry. And what that 00:03:39.88\00:03:43.62 means is that we're not ordained ministers will passes, 00:03:43.62\00:03:46.99 but were touched by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And so we 00:03:46.99\00:03:50.56 share 00:03:50.56\00:03:51.73 and it was organized in 1947. To men. And I must say, I'm a 00:03:51.73\00:03:56.63 physician and these 2 men were physicians. So I feel 00:03:56.63\00:03:59.67 completely at home. Haha, but Sutherland use the lid and PT 00:03:59.67\00:04:04.01 Megan, by the way, 00:04:04.01\00:04:05.87 East, both on and also starred in Walla Walla College. And 00:04:05.87\00:04:11.15 that was my Mamata. And then Loma Linda P team again went to 00:04:11.15\00:04:15.72 that that time College of medical of ashes. So these 2 00:04:15.72\00:04:18.45 men, 00:04:18.45\00:04:19.59 we're physicians and the with they followed the couch with 00:04:19.59\00:04:23.36 Ellen White. And that's how it's I was born listening to 00:04:23.36\00:04:27.40 the cost of L and white. We know about that trip on the 00:04:27.40\00:04:31.87 on the river. And 00:04:31.87\00:04:34.47 we know that, you know, they were going to do something. 00:04:34.47\00:04:36.97 But why did they get on that Cumberland River in the first 00:04:36.97\00:04:40.54 place was because though, falling ill and wise counsel on 00:04:40.54\00:04:43.58 education. And so you hear as we I talk tonight, they'll be 00:04:43.58\00:04:47.98 of a theme running through following Ellen White's 00:04:47.98\00:04:51.99 council. We know that what will hopefully help get us like my 00:04:51.99\00:04:56.16 good friend as a state off this planet. And so it's a way to 00:04:56.16\00:05:00.66 link Lee ministries with the organize church and that will 00:05:00.66\00:05:04.93 be doing is sites. It's run by businesspeople and self 00:05:04.93\00:05:10.34 supporting ministries professionals all coming 00:05:10.34\00:05:13.01 together and sharing ideas how to 00:05:13.01\00:05:16.34 send the Gospel all over and just really win souls for Jesus 00:05:16.34\00:05:21.18 Christ. That's what we're about to. It's still impressive 00:05:21.18\00:05:23.59 because when you go to one of the conventions and you go on 00:05:23.59\00:05:27.06 the exhibition floor and you see all of these different 00:05:27.06\00:05:31.59 ministries, it's so impressive and you can find 00:05:31.59\00:05:36.23 I was looking for something in particular, a particular kind 00:05:36.23\00:05:40.10 of ministry. And it was they came in. It was the it's a 00:05:40.10\00:05:43.91 wonderful, wonderful or he isn't. And there's a lot of 00:05:43.91\00:05:46.68 synergy between the self supporting ministries, the 00:05:46.68\00:05:50.51 business people and the professionals, lot of synergy 00:05:50.51\00:05:53.85 and working together as we will in the kingdom. So industry and 00:05:53.85\00:05:57.25 I'm thrilled. 00:05:57.25\00:05:58.45 >> And one of the threat. But one of the things I think 00:05:58.45\00:06:00.82 is you bring up there is very important to van is that when 00:06:00.82\00:06:04.19 you come to the U.S. a convention, you're in that area 00:06:04.19\00:06:06.66 where we call the booth area where the exhibit are there. 00:06:06.66\00:06:09.43 You have 350 plus exhibits there. All people of all 00:06:09.43\00:06:13.77 talking about how there can share Christ for them are in 00:06:13.77\00:06:16.20 the marketplace and how they can use their ministry assure 00:06:16.20\00:06:18.87 Christ was even more exciting about that is the fact that 00:06:18.87\00:06:22.01 everybody wants to commute to work together. They don't want 00:06:22.01\00:06:25.35 to just to do it on their own. They want to work together. 00:06:25.35\00:06:28.35 How can I can, you know, take this ministry this ministry 00:06:28.35\00:06:31.25 bringing together and do more? Because, you know, I really 00:06:31.25\00:06:33.76 believe the Lord never adds he multiplies. Yeah, when we work 00:06:33.76\00:06:36.86 together for him. And you know, when I first went s I really 00:06:36.86\00:06:40.20 didn't want to go. I'm actually a family came into my office. 00:06:40.20\00:06:43.90 Is that Denzel? I want you to join side now at that time, 00:06:43.90\00:06:47.37 we're we're in the family business where he built 00:06:47.37\00:06:49.24 concrete mixers and garbage truck. He came into my office. 00:06:49.24\00:06:52.24 He's doesn't want you joining us. I and I said I don't want 00:06:52.24\00:06:55.48 to join another club. I'm too busy pulse to make money to the 00:06:55.48\00:06:58.78 church and let the professionals do the work. 00:06:58.78\00:07:01.12 Right. And that's what I thought were supposed to do and 00:07:01.12\00:07:04.02 do come here on the Lord is our money be needs all of us. 00:07:04.02\00:07:07.19 And 00:07:07.19\00:07:08.62 so I thought to myself, OK, how do I get this guy out of my 00:07:08.62\00:07:11.66 office has said joint. He told me how much it costs a joint. 00:07:11.66\00:07:15.53 Okay, joy. And he goes well. You got to felt they were as I 00:07:15.53\00:07:18.93 don't have time to fill up a where he'll be joined. You fill 00:07:18.93\00:07:21.04 out the paperwork. There's my conference table. You sit 00:07:21.04\00:07:23.20 there, fill it out to check what Eissa said. Get get that, 00:07:23.20\00:07:27.34 get this catch a quick kind of get in my office. So I get in 00:07:27.34\00:07:30.58 the check was signed everything up. He says great. They get 00:07:30.58\00:07:33.31 promise me. You know how when he walks into your office, 00:07:33.31\00:07:35.58 you kindly to Milan and the problem was the guy would let 00:07:35.58\00:07:39.52 go of my hand. I kept saying got to promise me, you'll come 00:07:39.52\00:07:42.46 to an end in sight convention and I go, OK, I'll come to a 00:07:42.46\00:07:45.59 convention to get him out. The the problem was I went 00:07:45.59\00:07:49.16 home. I told my wife, right? I told my wife about the 00:07:49.16\00:07:52.27 situation about this man came to visit and she goes wall. 00:07:52.27\00:07:55.47 You gave your word you're going to go to convention. This is a 00:07:55.47\00:07:58.64 convention. I go, look, you're into I have no intention of 00:07:58.64\00:08:01.64 going to this convention. She said we promised ice. 00:08:01.64\00:08:04.58 That wasn't a real problem promise to get them on my 00:08:04.58\00:08:07.45 office. Problems that out and that we're man of your word. 00:08:07.45\00:08:11.25 Yeah. All right. And so you know how it is with your wife. 00:08:11.25\00:08:14.46 You compromising end up doing what she wants to do. They had 00:08:14.46\00:08:17.93 a did literally is we argued a disgusted, I should say haha. 00:08:17.93\00:08:24.30 And then just a couple days before the convention that went 00:08:24.30\00:08:26.57 to the convention. And so it was the Lord has time because 00:08:26.57\00:08:29.64 of the glory of the New Mexico. It was in the middle of 00:08:29.64\00:08:32.27 nowhere. You had to get there. Now at that time, I was really 00:08:32.27\00:08:35.11 shy. Didn't like to see. I didn't like what I found. 00:08:35.11\00:08:37.71 I had to eat with people. I wouldn't want within buddy 00:08:37.71\00:08:40.22 and I was nervous about that. And they these big tables. 00:08:40.22\00:08:42.92 We had to sit down and eat with people in that. And and I'm 00:08:42.92\00:08:45.79 sitting there at the table and I always used to conventions 00:08:45.79\00:08:48.72 where they talk of a new boat, their new car are there new 00:08:48.72\00:08:51.96 trip for new life or whatever it is? You know, but but here 00:08:51.96\00:08:55.63 they're sitting around the table and their time. What 00:08:55.63\00:08:57.97 mission trip have you been on recently? What are you doing to 00:08:57.97\00:09:00.34 share Jesus in your market place? What are you doing to 2 00:09:00.34\00:09:03.97 in your business to reach others for Jesus 00:09:03.97\00:09:06.98 and you what? I had nothing to tell them 00:09:06.98\00:09:09.28 because I could. I never I wasn't doing it. I thought my 00:09:09.28\00:09:11.68 job was just give money now is and I don't want to diminish 00:09:11.68\00:09:14.48 the stress of giving money. But the Lord, you know, let's 00:09:14.48\00:09:17.25 face it. It's lords all his anyway, right? Yeah, yeah. 00:09:17.25\00:09:20.72 And when I met people that were giving Bible studies that we're 00:09:20.72\00:09:23.96 doing revelation, seminars that were involved in evangelism, 00:09:23.96\00:09:27.86 that we're doing things in their offices, share Jesus and 00:09:27.86\00:09:30.70 they have businesses that were larger than our business. 00:09:30.70\00:09:33.23 They were doing things that I never thought to be done. 00:09:33.23\00:09:36.00 And I thought if they can do it, I can do it. And it 00:09:36.00\00:09:39.54 completely changed my whole outlook on life and hall look 00:09:39.54\00:09:43.35 of what we're really all about. And that was a 37 years ago. 00:09:43.35\00:09:47.55 Wow, and I will tell you, my wife and I have never missed an 00:09:47.55\00:09:50.95 essay convention since that time. Wow. And you know what, 00:09:50.95\00:09:54.09 we we've been to your office and Jesus is all up in his 00:09:54.09\00:09:57.56 office. I mean, you have now pictures are those signs away 00:09:57.56\00:10:02.23 of all of these different things in your office which 00:10:02.23\00:10:05.53 lets people know that you're not in the I called the 00:10:05.53\00:10:08.37 feathers and the its bank, the United the Christian with 00:10:08.37\00:10:12.81 witness protection program, what you know, but but believe 00:10:12.81\00:10:16.75 it, I never none of those ideas are original. I got them for me 00:10:16.75\00:10:20.88 assign members. I talked to a gentleman one time. He says, 00:10:20.88\00:10:23.49 I said, How do you share Jesus? He says why put Nathan Green 00:10:23.49\00:10:26.45 art up in my office and I go I can buy are put into my office. 00:10:26.45\00:10:31.53 I bought the thin green Artan. It's amazing. The amount of 00:10:31.53\00:10:34.10 times you get opportunities to talk about Jesus by having 00:10:34.10\00:10:37.27 anything green art, you know, or or put in a desired pages in 00:10:37.27\00:10:40.94 your lobby or putting a creation magazine or just all 00:10:40.94\00:10:45.21 these various things that you that they're not original 00:10:45.21\00:10:48.01 there. Pete, their ideas that I got from other is I members and 00:10:48.01\00:10:51.28 youth. And that's the thing about it. Because when you talk 00:10:51.28\00:10:53.75 to a clergy and he tells you, well, you should do this. 00:10:53.75\00:10:57.42 Well, you know, he's paid to do that. But when a brother like 00:10:57.42\00:11:00.92 Dan tells me, I need to do something that's a whole 00:11:00.92\00:11:03.09 different viewpoint. If Dan can do it, I can do it. You know, 00:11:03.09\00:11:06.29 it's just gives a whole different camaraderie about 00:11:06.29\00:11:09.36 about the boat life and the privilege of being able to tell 00:11:09.36\00:11:13.97 others about Jesus. 00:11:13.97\00:11:15.30 >> And now it's beautiful. I loved end zone. But when I go 00:11:15.30\00:11:19.04 to his house or go to his office, I walk away feeling 00:11:19.04\00:11:22.64 like a failure because he is so organized overnight. Death is a 00:11:22.64\00:11:27.42 vast everything's in the past. Everything is in place and I 00:11:27.42\00:11:31.39 think that your house you're that way to Denver, which is a 00:11:31.39\00:11:33.99 great attribute. I wish I had it. He's kind of like looking 00:11:33.99\00:11:38.16 to 10 Commandments when you're not living right? Quite that 00:11:38.16\00:11:43.03 bad. I feel guilty when I walk ever seen a more. 00:11:43.03\00:11:46.97 >> Organize very or let's have a great assistant and great 00:11:46.97\00:11:51.01 people that work around me. They can organize who also have 00:11:51.01\00:11:54.64 a situation with Denzel where he is looking for some way like 00:11:54.64\00:12:00.15 all of us should be doing trying to find a way to open a 00:12:00.15\00:12:04.35 door for someone to think a thought about cheese. Yes, 00:12:04.35\00:12:07.76 and the use of art, the use of other kinds of things holding 00:12:07.76\00:12:10.66 seminars in the bank. You've done that. So but that's the 00:12:10.66\00:12:15.03 aside Spirit. Yeah, I think, you know, I think that when 00:12:15.03\00:12:19.43 Karen, I first came to the aside convention and in 00:12:19.43\00:12:22.20 Guntersville, Alabama, 19 00:12:22.20\00:12:24.71 83, while there may be 250 people and there were only 3 00:12:24.71\00:12:29.31 families that had kids. Our 2 were 2 of those. And our kids 00:12:29.31\00:12:33.31 stood up on the table because they were really young as 00:12:33.31\00:12:35.72 saying, OK, and will, you know, they're old timers. That even 00:12:35.72\00:12:39.52 may have been at a aside that time will remember that. 00:12:39.52\00:12:42.39 But that changed our lives in the future. We don't we don't 00:12:42.39\00:12:45.53 have, as you vacations, vacations usually have to do 00:12:45.53\00:12:48.86 with something to what they assign anymore. You know, 00:12:48.86\00:12:51.10 when we're traveling away, there's something we're 00:12:51.10\00:12:52.60 involved in a mission trip. We're in a, you know, like we 00:12:52.60\00:12:55.44 went to the Philippines, Denzel for for something. We'll talk 00:12:55.44\00:12:58.01 about a little later 00:12:58.01\00:12:59.11 and it has it radically changed our focus in like, yeah, 00:12:59.11\00:13:02.88 yeah. Again to think how can we consciously plan to reach 00:13:02.88\00:13:08.15 someone for Jesus Christ and it doesn't have to be overt. 00:13:08.15\00:13:11.29 Always. It can be very casual unsubtle. Like if you walk into 00:13:11.29\00:13:14.99 my office, you walk in the denzel's office. There are 00:13:14.99\00:13:17.29 going to be pennies. As I see right across here. You have a 00:13:17.29\00:13:20.46 beautiful Nathan Green peace here in the studio that we're 00:13:20.46\00:13:23.63 very proud of and whatever it can be done 2 to cause someone 00:13:23.63\00:13:28.27 to say, you know, 00:13:28.27\00:13:29.44 a little knowledge of the holy spirit 00:13:29.44\00:13:31.61 to look at a different way to share with other people can 00:13:31.61\00:13:33.64 listen on this planet. The only thing we take off of it 00:13:33.64\00:13:36.68 for the people, the right, that's it, man. And one of the 00:13:36.68\00:13:39.98 things talking about aside, one of the things that's really 00:13:39.98\00:13:42.45 critical for us to think about sometimes in the church, 00:13:42.45\00:13:46.65 there can be a little bit of a tension, not that I don't 00:13:46.65\00:13:49.86 really want to say tension, but just a little bit of a stand 00:13:49.86\00:13:52.79 offices between the clergy and leaders and the lay people that 00:13:52.79\00:13:55.83 can get in the organization, OK, I don't care. That's the 00:13:55.83\00:13:58.37 dilemma nation where part of or somebody else. But sometimes 00:13:58.37\00:14:01.47 you'll hear people say will lay people are getting going. 00:14:01.47\00:14:03.20 It's going to lay people. It finished the work. 00:14:03.20\00:14:06.68 You know, that's not a true statement. And I hope you 00:14:06.68\00:14:08.84 realize that. But I want to pull up that the actual 00:14:08.84\00:14:11.48 quotation of that because this is fundamental to our aside 00:14:11.48\00:14:15.28 philosophy is and this is actually found a 9 testimonies 00:14:15.28\00:14:19.25 written by Ellen White, a page one 16. And here's what it 00:14:19.25\00:14:22.89 says. The work of God in this Earth can never be finished 00:14:22.89\00:14:27.03 until the men and women comprising our church 00:14:27.03\00:14:29.26 membership, Raleigh to the work 00:14:29.26\00:14:32.23 and unite the keyword, unite their efforts with those of 00:14:32.23\00:14:35.77 ministers and church officers from. So it's going to the work 00:14:35.77\00:14:39.87 is going to be finished by lay people uniting with church 00:14:39.87\00:14:44.95 leaders. And aside is a perfect example of how that works. 00:14:44.95\00:14:51.45 It can happen in local churches that can happen in other 00:14:51.45\00:14:53.66 situations. But we are an actual illustration in real 00:14:53.66\00:14:57.96 time 00:14:57.96\00:14:59.29 of laypeople and church leadership working together for 00:14:59.29\00:15:02.23 causes. And we discovered over time that partnering 00:15:02.23\00:15:06.74 with different entities ministries together or 00:15:06.74\00:15:09.54 ministries together with the church part, just like being 00:15:09.54\00:15:12.41 with 3 Angels Broadcasting Network, our Organization, 00:15:12.41\00:15:15.94 Heart Research Center has partnered on 2 things right now 00:15:15.94\00:15:18.35 that I can think of we partnered on Mark Families 3 00:15:18.35\00:15:21.32 causing messages and we're doing 3 angels for kids right 00:15:21.32\00:15:23.49 now. That's a partnering between our ministries. Same 00:15:23.49\00:15:26.15 thing you're going to hear about partnering between 00:15:26.15\00:15:29.39 ministries and the church. Some of our greatest forward 00:15:29.39\00:15:32.79 motion has become true. Partners are working that I'd 00:15:32.79\00:15:36.10 like to go back on something because you both mentioned, 00:15:36.10\00:15:38.77 you know, you mentioned family mentioned kids. 00:15:38.77\00:15:41.90 >> That sigh when you first went, there is just a few kids 00:15:41.90\00:15:45.61 there. But that I want to talk about that just for a little 00:15:45.61\00:15:48.88 bit 00:15:48.88\00:15:49.98 because I was amazed. And so that a number of years ago, 00:15:49.98\00:15:53.52 I know I want to thank the dashon and your dad and some 00:15:53.52\00:15:56.85 some other. Yeah, we went to several countries, Cambodia, 00:15:56.85\00:16:00.12 but I remember what struck me is 00:16:00.12\00:16:03.02 kids were teenagers, I think. And they said where you want to 00:16:03.02\00:16:05.93 go on vacation and they they went on a mission trip and 00:16:05.93\00:16:09.26 praised. I mean, how many teenagers, you know, do that 00:16:09.26\00:16:12.57 enough? No one can tell me aside in infants that not gone 00:16:12.57\00:16:16.57 the first time write yours, same thing down to Loot League. 00:16:16.57\00:16:19.61 You're you're can. So I remember all you kids when 00:16:19.61\00:16:22.48 they're little and getting on the little buses and going 00:16:22.48\00:16:24.68 around paint and whatever houses and helping people in 00:16:24.68\00:16:27.65 the cities where they go. That's right. But aside has 00:16:27.65\00:16:30.75 been a tremendous springboard. So I would like to say this. 00:16:30.75\00:16:34.62 I have been asked about it. But honestly, the idea 00:16:34.62\00:16:38.33 conceived by those 2 brothers, he's maybe the greatest, 00:16:38.33\00:16:41.33 if not 00:16:41.33\00:16:42.50 one of the greatest of not on the greatest ideas to ever got 00:16:42.50\00:16:46.67 ordain ideas to ever happen because as already mentioned by 00:16:46.67\00:16:51.27 several as I as become a springboard, it's so ministries 00:16:51.27\00:16:55.94 that no one ever heard of 1985, no one ever heard of 3 ABN 00:16:55.94\00:16:59.95 because we're just getting started. That's right. Yes, 00:16:59.95\00:17:03.08 I'm with the springboard that took us to meet people that 00:17:03.08\00:17:06.99 caught the vision of 3 a B m. 00:17:06.99\00:17:10.19 We can go through ministry after ministry after ministry 00:17:10.19\00:17:14.10 now by well, somebody shows up, can I get a little booth and 00:17:14.10\00:17:18.00 show you somebody walks by and to the man, look, just like in 00:17:18.00\00:17:21.44 the past year is actually what she was looking for. She is 00:17:21.44\00:17:24.81 large and pressure in ministry. I need help. But I wonder if 00:17:24.81\00:17:28.11 there's that all they have just want to I'm still talking to 00:17:28.11\00:17:32.31 folks still working together. But I think what makes a** I 00:17:32.31\00:17:35.98 different than most as it's not one person with one group or 00:17:35.98\00:17:40.12 was a sore one. It's to lay its the church. It's everybody 00:17:40.12\00:17:44.66 working together. And so then it catapults the gospel. 00:17:44.66\00:17:49.03 So there were where one of us couldn't do it on our own. 00:17:49.03\00:17:51.90 But now, yeah. So you take the business people. You know, 00:17:51.90\00:17:55.34 we take you lay person, weathers carpenter plumber, 00:17:55.34\00:17:58.27 you know, whatever they are, what are school teachers, 00:17:58.27\00:18:01.31 then you get church leadership. You get people coming together 00:18:01.31\00:18:04.28 and sent. You know what our mission on this earth is found 00:18:04.28\00:18:09.12 in Matthew. 28 right maintained a taunting me. Jesus said, 00:18:09.12\00:18:12.95 Go ye into all the world. And so all together 00:18:12.95\00:18:18.83 we can do that. Yeah. And that's why we're thankful to be 00:18:18.83\00:18:21.56 a part of a yes, I'm we hope if you're not that you will be war 00:18:21.56\00:18:25.67 and you'll catch division because if you want to be on 00:18:25.67\00:18:28.24 the winning team, if you read the back of the book and 00:18:28.24\00:18:31.07 revelation and says We win, that's my short version of 00:18:31.07\00:18:33.91 Yahoo. We win as well. That way. You have an opportunity to 00:18:33.91\00:18:41.25 be part of people who have are taking that or does it cost one 00:18:41.25\00:18:45.29 dollar world you've done and so many ways. 00:18:45.29\00:18:48.59 >> So many ideas and so many think tanks coming together. 00:18:48.59\00:18:51.99 And I mean, it's just almost unbelievable. So when you're 00:18:51.99\00:18:56.23 out there by yourself and your ministry, you're thinking, 00:18:56.23\00:18:59.53 boy, it's earners, not another 7 other 1000 people that right 00:18:59.53\00:19:03.57 now. 00:19:03.57\00:19:04.97 >> Bell the Dow down, you know, but but wait a minute, there's 00:19:04.97\00:19:09.28 a lot of people out here I didn't know about. So it also 00:19:09.28\00:19:12.35 it is helpful in encouraging. Yeah, new can call someone ton 00:19:12.35\00:19:16.48 Ministry how you've done well, but I'm struggling as you get 00:19:16.48\00:19:19.79 to make friends. You see I mean, and it's the camaraderie 00:19:19.79\00:19:23.36 and a sense it is. So it's an incredible organization. 00:19:23.36\00:19:27.13 So if you don't know about it in a bit, will put up an 00:19:27.13\00:19:29.26 address and we want you to find out about it. 00:19:29.26\00:19:32.17 >> Dana, actually, that's one of the things that one of the 00:19:32.17\00:19:35.54 reasons why, as I started was for the ministries to come 00:19:35.54\00:19:38.67 together to fellowship, take reach other, to go back out 00:19:38.67\00:19:42.08 into their marketplace for the following year. So it's a 00:19:42.08\00:19:45.48 really up time to come together, being courage to go 00:19:45.48\00:19:48.88 forth and do go back to where you are and finish the work 00:19:48.88\00:19:52.42 that they are. And that's our convention now, the annual 00:19:52.42\00:19:55.46 convention, your convention. But there's there's one other 00:19:55.46\00:19:57.49 thing here I just want to say, and that is that no idea just 00:19:57.49\00:20:01.80 comes and myself. And you pointed this out a minute ago, 00:20:01.80\00:20:05.63 Danny, that these 2 original founders, the didn't know the 00:20:05.63\00:20:09.04 name aside, by the way, they were just helping to get the 00:20:09.04\00:20:11.77 lay people involved, Sutherland and again, Sutherland was the 00:20:11.77\00:20:15.98 first day aside. President May we say okay, but we stand in 00:20:15.98\00:20:20.48 this generation. Denzel night will be joined aside. We're 00:20:20.48\00:20:23.12 both in our 20's K so it's been a little while. But you know 00:20:23.12\00:20:27.52 what? We stand on the shoulders. So much of some 00:20:27.52\00:20:31.39 incredible individuals. And I just want to, you know, 00:20:31.39\00:20:35.23 acknowledge that right at the beginning of this discussion. 00:20:35.23\00:20:38.87 There are people like this like Sutherland's mug ends. We're 00:20:38.87\00:20:42.34 also looking at people like, for instance, O De McKee. 00:20:42.34\00:20:46.41 Yeah. Okay. At the first to convention I went to I had the 00:20:46.41\00:20:49.51 privilege to sit with Cody and his wife, Ellsworth father. 00:20:49.51\00:20:53.78 Yes. And had a chance to interact with him and then you 00:20:53.78\00:20:56.62 look at Tom's apart, Tom and violence up are a great Harold 00:20:56.62\00:21:00.29 and Joan Lance. Yes. And the Herald, by the way, I'm sure 00:21:00.29\00:21:03.26 heralds watching right now. Harold is shot out to you. 00:21:03.26\00:21:05.56 We really appreciate your sage and and your guidance and 00:21:05.56\00:21:09.43 helping us through this process and it's these individuals. 00:21:09.43\00:21:12.40 So we today stand on the shoulders and we say, Lord, 00:21:12.40\00:21:16.27 what a privilege you've given to us. Thank you. And may we be 00:21:16.27\00:21:19.07 faithful and then? 00:21:19.07\00:21:21.24 >> I can get I think for hours and Yahoo House to move us on. 00:21:21.24\00:21:30.99 We have a lot of things that sort of will. 00:21:30.99\00:21:33.56 >> The demonstrate the breath of what we do because one of 00:21:33.56\00:21:37.19 the things that we do is provide resources, yes, and not 00:21:37.19\00:21:40.80 just for PSI members, but for the entire World Church. 00:21:40.80\00:21:44.23 And we've done several projects that have affected the entire 00:21:44.23\00:21:47.44 church were not boasting it at all. We're just saying that we 00:21:47.44\00:21:51.11 have tried to be faithful to the call of God in our lives. 00:21:51.11\00:21:55.34 And so we have and all of the things that we've done you'll 00:21:55.34\00:21:59.31 see tonight have been pot in a ship with the ministries all 00:21:59.31\00:22:03.75 with the church. Many of them we don't run off on our own and 00:22:03.75\00:22:08.66 whatnot. We're very supported the church and its leadership 00:22:08.66\00:22:12.59 and the some of the organize some of the Adventist who and 00:22:12.59\00:22:16.26 so that's why I think we have our legitimacy 00:22:16.26\00:22:19.73 because of that the things that we do. 00:22:19.73\00:22:21.80 >> That's the kind of moves along if you don't mind already 00:22:21.80\00:22:24.84 have. And we have. 00:22:24.84\00:22:26.57 >> Haha. Yeah. So we have 00:22:26.57\00:22:29.84 Bush the M Den has there. The first thing that we did 00:22:29.84\00:22:33.28 begun in 1983 S what's the book project and you see, but the 00:22:33.28\00:22:36.79 good news, trace, the history of the many resources that we 00:22:36.79\00:22:40.06 have. And Joe, as we're coming along, that how God has has led 00:22:40.06\00:22:45.76 and there's going to be exciting. 00:22:45.76\00:22:47.36 >> Question. But let me jump right into this. 92 the first 00:22:47.36\00:22:50.30 year that Karen and I and our family went to the I S I 00:22:50.30\00:22:52.93 convention, the book project will be called the aside book 00:22:52.93\00:22:57.07 Project internally was born. 00:22:57.07\00:22:59.94 And at that time there was a guy. And yes, I member named 00:22:59.94\00:23:03.18 Gilbert, Wilkes and Gilbert had a printing operation. And he 00:23:03.18\00:23:06.98 actually published a Little magazine that was a kind of a 00:23:06.98\00:23:10.39 weekly shop or that was sent out all over the place and had 00:23:10.39\00:23:13.79 ads in it. And he was start put little spiritual thoughts in 00:23:13.79\00:23:16.93 there. And then you start saying, why can't we do steps 00:23:16.93\00:23:19.13 to Christ this way? And so he did. He printed the first time 00:23:19.13\00:23:23.10 we had big runs in the Church of steps to Christ he printed 00:23:23.10\00:23:26.50 and he came in 1983 and he said to the group, listen, I have 00:23:26.50\00:23:30.37 this idea, but it's bigger than me. I don't have the money to 00:23:30.37\00:23:32.91 actually be able to create and develop into the first print 00:23:32.91\00:23:36.44 run and assigned Missions Inc, the organization that Denzel's 00:23:36.44\00:23:39.88 the president of an and I serve on that board as well. 00:23:39.88\00:23:43.15 That group bought it. And out of that meeting, we saw 00:23:43.15\00:23:46.62 immediately several million copies of happiness died. 00:23:46.62\00:23:50.33 Just that was the beginnings of of them. By the way, here's the 00:23:50.33\00:23:54.40 steps to Christ. This is the this is the current rendition 00:23:54.40\00:23:57.47 of of the of the book and the newest one we've actually gone 00:23:57.47\00:24:01.60 through. This is our 3rd complete makeover of the series 00:24:01.60\00:24:05.81 in 40 years. But 00:24:05.81\00:24:08.18 >> now what's different about this one? 00:24:08.18\00:24:10.05 >> Well, this one, we have a beautiful cover and on the 00:24:10.05\00:24:12.28 cover, you'll notice that we have a crown that is a partial 00:24:12.28\00:24:15.95 gold crown and a partial crown of thorns. And so it is talking 00:24:15.95\00:24:21.06 about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the steps to Christ. 00:24:21.06\00:24:23.26 But in addition to that, in the back of this book, we actually 00:24:23.26\00:24:26.66 have a set of questions and answers on the Gospel that are 00:24:26.66\00:24:31.03 included right the back of this book. And that was something 00:24:31.03\00:24:33.74 that came as we've gone down the road. We've said, what can 00:24:33.74\00:24:36.37 we improve this way? We can tweak a little bit this way, 00:24:36.37\00:24:38.57 but this has been distributed by the millions. Okay. Now in 00:24:38.57\00:24:43.65 1989 by this time, denzel's come into the organ and the and 00:24:43.65\00:24:49.12 I'm going to have him to share how the rest of these books 00:24:49.12\00:24:51.35 started to come together because that's when it happened 00:24:51.35\00:24:53.49 Denzel. 00:24:53.49\00:24:54.72 >> Well, what happened was that we found out that the desire of 00:24:54.72\00:24:57.96 ages that the most copies that have been printed one time was 00:24:57.96\00:25:02.16 10,000 copies in a run. And Gilbert Welch again said if we 00:25:02.16\00:25:08.20 did in a large quantity because of the press, we can get him 00:25:08.20\00:25:11.54 down in cost at 10,000 and a $10,000 or 10,000 print. 00:25:11.54\00:25:17.61 We could do it for we can print it for $3.86. But we did 00:25:17.61\00:25:22.05 100,000. We could do it for 55 sets. And so we side with the 00:25:22.05\00:25:27.72 fact that not back down, but not today. And so we're sitting 00:25:27.72\00:25:31.53 around the corner on the Briton were discussing, which book to 00:25:31.53\00:25:34.60 do 00:25:34.60\00:25:35.76 and we're deciding, OK, should we do Christ object lessons or 00:25:35.76\00:25:38.63 should we do desire of ages on partial deserve a just cause? 00:25:38.63\00:25:41.70 That's all my family became at Venice's through that book, 00:25:41.70\00:25:44.74 our great controversy. And there was debating which one to 00:25:44.74\00:25:47.54 do. And I'm a young person who doesn't come for my first time 00:25:47.54\00:25:51.25 ever there. And I didn't realize that Tom's of Paros who 00:25:51.25\00:25:54.82 is always challenging everybody around them around the table 00:25:54.82\00:25:58.29 saying, well, if you do this, I'll do this and trying to 00:25:58.29\00:26:01.02 challenge people to raise money and things like that. And I I 00:26:01.02\00:26:03.89 just all of a sudden I just said book, will you like Chris 00:26:03.89\00:26:06.93 Eyeglasses? Watch you do it. 100,000 new 200,000 to 200,000 00:26:06.93\00:26:11.27 and I'll do 100,000 time. You do 100,000 and each to a 00:26:11.27\00:26:15.10 book and all of them said, yes, yes, yes, yes, all the way 00:26:15.10\00:26:18.07 around. And then Tom, just look at me and goes all right, 00:26:18.07\00:26:20.98 then, ah, her and I didn't realize until afterwards 00:26:20.98\00:26:24.95 because I challenged him or one just went ahead and did it 00:26:24.95\00:26:27.32 quickly. But out of that became we've raised the money to start 00:26:27.32\00:26:31.75 that project. That's right. And from that project we have 00:26:31.75\00:26:35.16 now printed over 9 million books distributed distributed 00:26:35.16\00:26:40.40 9 million books. And what's the beauty of it is not only do we 00:26:40.40\00:26:44.40 have the original money in that in that pro part, we also have 00:26:44.40\00:26:51.01 additional money because what we have done is we put a 00:26:51.01\00:26:53.51 contingency it joy to the cause of the book and a very in some 00:26:53.51\00:26:57.31 little bit of extra money and put it into each book just a 00:26:57.31\00:27:00.55 few pennies so that we can make a revolving fund. And so as a 00:27:00.55\00:27:04.35 result of that, we've now printed 11 different at titles. 00:27:04.35\00:27:08.12 And we've now been able to use that money to creep, keep 00:27:08.12\00:27:13.53 printing over and over again at a lower cost. And so it's 00:27:13.53\00:27:17.53 really been a beautiful concept that just started with just 00:27:17.53\00:27:20.94 that challenge. But the exciting thing of his, how the 00:27:20.94\00:27:24.11 Lord bless you and through that has seen so many books being 00:27:24.11\00:27:28.81 given out to the for the Kingdom. 00:27:28.81\00:27:30.41 >> And hows and distributed, what should distribution 00:27:30.41\00:27:33.18 network? Well, our distribution network as we again, we partner 00:27:33.18\00:27:37.25 are using that word over and over the the advent of Oksana 00:27:37.25\00:27:40.72 Pacific Press it at the original time, we still have 00:27:40.72\00:27:43.06 reviewing Herald. We are partnering with the review, 00:27:43.06\00:27:45.36 Harold and with City Press. But now it's up to the press. 00:27:45.36\00:27:48.20 And so we have provided the entire inventory. We've we've 00:27:48.20\00:27:51.87 basically it's our project within that organization, 00:27:51.87\00:27:54.90 but they handle all the fulfillment, 00:27:54.90\00:27:57.11 all the orders. And so we're going to have a Web site here 00:27:57.11\00:27:59.54 in a few minutes to put up. So if somebody wants these, 00:27:59.54\00:28:01.31 but I want to talk about the current books quickly, because 00:28:01.31\00:28:05.15 in the process of getting to 9 million say distributed 00:28:05.15\00:28:08.68 distributed, I mean, this is the start of the great 00:28:08.68\00:28:11.15 controversy alone. And by the way, our new designs were quite 00:28:11.15\00:28:14.52 pleased. You all have them around. We have we have done 00:28:14.52\00:28:18.19 these books until this just a year or so ago year and a half 00:28:18.19\00:28:21.33 ago, we decided we need to do a complete new makeover. You have 00:28:21.33\00:28:26.17 to do that in publishing refreshed. And so we did that. 00:28:26.17\00:28:30.14 And when we when we brought this and reported that 2 rsi 00:28:30.14\00:28:33.34 board, 00:28:33.34\00:28:34.48 we were saying we've got a new partnership between the LNG 00:28:34.48\00:28:36.75 white estate. They've helped us go through the whole process 00:28:36.75\00:28:39.08 and Pacific press and aside 00:28:39.08\00:28:41.38 and one of the things that we did was we said, let's tie this 00:28:41.38\00:28:44.65 into electronic or the tech world. And if you open these 00:28:44.65\00:28:48.49 books up just to the second page on the inside, you'll see 00:28:48.49\00:28:51.49 the QR code right here. Love it. And that QR code. I'm 00:28:51.49\00:28:55.96 holding the great controversy here in that QR code on the 00:28:55.96\00:28:58.57 inside will allow it will take you straight to a special 00:28:58.57\00:29:01.77 website that the Elegy, why this association has put 00:29:01.77\00:29:05.07 together this data and it has the ability to have you read 00:29:05.07\00:29:09.64 this book in 90 different languages. One can listen to it 00:29:09.64\00:29:13.31 in 25 or 30, I believe as what you can print it. You can look 00:29:13.31\00:29:16.75 at all these different things. So we're trying to expand out 00:29:16.75\00:29:19.99 so that somebody who might have this since I want to share this 00:29:19.99\00:29:23.26 is somebody in 00:29:23.26\00:29:25.53 some Asian country, yes, puzzles. You can actually show 00:29:25.53\00:29:29.13 pop this around. They can log-on to it and see what's 00:29:29.13\00:29:31.43 happening with it. And we've done this. The other thing that 00:29:31.43\00:29:33.60 we did as we put these 5 together, 00:29:33.60\00:29:37.24 we know the contour to the ages and here we all put them up 00:29:37.24\00:29:40.48 here so it can be seen of. We had never put the 5 books, 00:29:40.48\00:29:43.58 even though we were distributing them. We decided 00:29:43.58\00:29:46.18 why don't we tried putting it together. 00:29:46.18\00:29:48.62 And so we've done that. And when we presented this, I just 00:29:48.62\00:29:51.85 want to do a shout out to our North American Division. 00:29:51.85\00:29:55.39 Elder Alex Bryant, elder Bryant and his team were at the board 00:29:55.39\00:29:59.09 meeting. They looked at this and said, 00:29:59.09\00:30:01.90 why can't we could we use this? We'd like to place an order and 00:30:01.90\00:30:04.97 they have now placed an order for every person in the North 00:30:04.97\00:30:07.97 American division. That's baptized in 23 24 and won. 00:30:07.97\00:30:12.14 The division is sending the set. Wow. And here's the crazy 00:30:12.14\00:30:16.85 thing with it, Danny, most the time you think, well, how much 00:30:16.85\00:30:19.38 money would it cost to do all this? A person? The way we've 00:30:19.38\00:30:22.12 got to set up a person can say I want this set and I want to 00:30:22.12\00:30:26.02 mail it to someone for under $15 ship a hope. A multi think 00:30:26.02\00:30:31.73 anything under 50 bucks. Yeah, OK, you can buy these and 00:30:31.73\00:30:34.86 what I love what Denzel Dunn has done. Tell what you've done 00:30:34.86\00:30:38.40 with these books as well. 00:30:38.40\00:30:39.73 >> But it goes back to when I was a a S I also was involved 00:30:39.73\00:30:43.71 with helping with the Ukraine refugee situation. And so we 00:30:43.71\00:30:46.98 did a big print. He know of a literature there and in to help 00:30:46.98\00:30:51.91 with Ukraine's Ukrainians. And one story I heard when I 00:30:51.91\00:30:55.98 was over there and heard from one of the members are one of 00:30:55.98\00:30:59.49 the church members is they had a bunch of deserve ages and 00:30:59.49\00:31:02.92 great controversies in their basement. And because there you 00:31:02.92\00:31:06.19 can get paper, you can't print or anything else. And they were 00:31:06.19\00:31:09.10 given these out 2 soldiers and to everyone for the members 00:31:09.10\00:31:13.13 were to refugees as they were going by. And I thought, 00:31:13.13\00:31:16.34 well, you know, right now you we have paper shortage within 00:31:16.34\00:31:19.04 shortages. We have all these charges. So I just bought a 00:31:19.04\00:31:21.88 bunch of cases these and put in my basement. 00:31:21.88\00:31:24.35 So when the next shortage comes around, I'll be able to have 00:31:24.35\00:31:27.28 and could be ready because we're going to have and we're 00:31:27.28\00:31:30.15 going to have a sigh. So I got several 1000 of these sitting 00:31:30.15\00:31:32.79 in my basement ready to go. So I'm ready because you never 00:31:32.79\00:31:36.62 know what's going to happen. So, you know, especially 00:31:36.62\00:31:38.79 today's poppies of great controversy in the back of our 00:31:38.79\00:31:41.90 car. 00:31:41.90\00:31:43.06 >> So if we see some, we think we want to give too. We can do 00:31:43.06\00:31:45.00 that. We yes, and that's the whole idea. I think people can 00:31:45.00\00:31:47.50 buy these by the case 00:31:47.50\00:31:49.50 and just have this is not designed for 20,000 copies are 00:31:49.50\00:31:53.24 going to give out like our church. My church is given 00:31:53.24\00:31:55.74 160,000 great controversies out in the last 3 years. But this 00:31:55.74\00:31:59.65 is more for the person is is I want to give out 50 or 60 of 00:31:59.65\00:32:02.95 these really nice ones. And there's not a better low cost 00:32:02.95\00:32:07.46 unit that we know of out there and we're very proud of what 00:32:07.46\00:32:10.96 they have, what they look like and how they go into the 00:32:10.96\00:32:13.73 future. But the digital aspect, I want to just that you love 00:32:13.73\00:32:17.47 that. There may be a couple more things related to this, 00:32:17.47\00:32:19.30 but I'm not thinking, right? Do you have to tell about what 00:32:19.30\00:32:21.64 we've done with the digital Co? That's that's where I was. 00:32:21.64\00:32:24.17 I was just saying that, OK? So the digital side of this 00:32:24.17\00:32:27.58 back in probably 2005, 2006. And again, I just want to say 00:32:27.58\00:32:33.11 before I forget this, Harrell Lance was the guy who really 00:32:33.11\00:32:37.59 worked on this from 1983 onward. Yes, gentle and I have 00:32:37.59\00:32:40.92 kind of picked it up in the last 5 to 7 years. But he was 00:32:40.92\00:32:44.33 the one that was really the genius. So he's still reminds 00:32:44.33\00:32:46.73 us and helps us. 00:32:46.73\00:32:47.66 >> Hahaha, we really we need it. 00:32:47.66\00:32:52.00 >> But there was a guy that came along. He said, you know, 00:32:52.00\00:32:54.60 we need to get some translations into a different 00:32:54.60\00:32:57.64 group in India, a certain dialect of Indian. 00:32:57.64\00:33:00.88 And we start to think, well, why can't we translate some of 00:33:00.88\00:33:02.94 these books? Of course, we've done Bibles. People have done 00:33:02.94\00:33:05.08 different things, the Bible's, but some of the specific books. 00:33:05.08\00:33:07.88 So we said, well, as we can do that, you know, and we started 00:33:07.88\00:33:10.75 off on this journey to try to do some translation. We 00:33:10.75\00:33:12.92 discovered quickly after a year to a lot of work. But that's a 00:33:12.92\00:33:16.69 challenge. And so we again to curl advice we partnered up 00:33:16.69\00:33:21.03 but the elegy by the state. Okay. And we have got some 00:33:21.03\00:33:25.33 fantastic responses and results to share with you and the 00:33:25.33\00:33:29.14 audience tonight on this. 00:33:29.14\00:33:31.67 That's one reason why we put the QR code and every one of 00:33:31.67\00:33:34.44 these books. 00:33:34.44\00:33:35.51 But we begin the process of working with them. And so, 00:33:35.51\00:33:38.81 yes, I you'll notice almost every year in our offering, 00:33:38.81\00:33:41.92 we include the digital books, a villain white with the LG 00:33:41.92\00:33:45.42 Wednesday in the offering almost every year. 00:33:45.42\00:33:48.39 Right now we have I believe, and I'm going to put up on my 00:33:48.39\00:33:51.96 on my screen line. I I think I've got it. 2,997 books, 00:33:51.96\00:33:58.53 different. A different books have been have been digitized 00:33:58.53\00:34:03.00 in different languages around the world. In all these 00:34:03.00\00:34:06.71 everything is plus, I believe it's like I've been to pull a 00:34:06.71\00:34:08.68 bitter pill may be buried. 00:34:08.68\00:34:09.74 >> So, folks, that's a little hard to grasp. But yeah, 00:34:09.74\00:34:15.65 OK, thank you. Open this book. And when you get that QR code, 00:34:15.65\00:34:19.59 right, no, you go to. It's going to take you to a website. 00:34:19.59\00:34:23.19 That's right. And then you can choose the language. Yes, 00:34:23.19\00:34:25.79 light. 00:34:25.79\00:34:26.96 >> Yeah, OK, so here's here's the statistics on our project 00:34:26.96\00:34:31.00 because it's been going on now for about 14 years, 00:34:31.00\00:34:33.94 13, 14 years. The longer now 15, okay, 15 years. 00:34:33.94\00:34:38.14 We now have 2,997 books in 145 languages that are translated 00:34:38.14\00:34:45.05 in available digitally around the world. Why also 660 00:34:45.05\00:34:49.82 audiobooks available in 25 languages. 00:34:49.82\00:34:53.09 Now to get to put this in perspective 00:34:53.09\00:34:56.12 in the year 2010, when we were just starting to get going in 00:34:56.12\00:35:00.16 this, 00:35:00.16\00:35:01.33 the total number of visitors to the LNG, quite a state website 00:35:01.33\00:35:04.73 which has all of these resources. Plus many more was 00:35:04.73\00:35:08.04 around 35,000 visitors per month. 00:35:08.04\00:35:11.41 And we thought that was pretty. Yeah, OK, this is good. Let me 00:35:11.41\00:35:14.44 tell you what it was for August 00:35:14.44\00:35:16.88 of this year. 00:35:16.88\00:35:18.28 Try 10.4, 3 million visitors to the LNG White estate website in 00:35:18.28\00:35:24.09 one month. One month that in in 2021 92 million visits in 2022. 00:35:24.09\00:35:29.96 98 million visits so far this year 00:35:29.96\00:35:33.23 in 2023 through August. 31 71 Million, 230,000 visits 00:35:33.23\00:35:38.47 136 million page views of these books and 4.8 billion Web site 00:35:38.47\00:35:45.34 inquiries, 4.8 billion Web site inquiries and on on and again, 00:35:45.34\00:35:51.01 sometimes that was that phone or is that they can computer 00:35:51.01\00:35:53.25 apps. Check this out. The website queries were 4.8 00:35:53.25\00:35:57.49 billion of those and the app queries were 2.1 billion. 00:35:57.49\00:36:01.56 >> You know, that's actually a little mind boggling. This is 00:36:01.56\00:36:04.56 craziness of the mine bug. 00:36:04.56\00:36:06.56 >> The other part of this so important is it's all over the 00:36:06.56\00:36:09.70 world and a lot of places where you can't get the Gospel, 00:36:09.70\00:36:13.17 UK preach the gospel. People are reading these books in 00:36:13.17\00:36:17.34 places that you can't get to that we couldn't get their 00:36:17.34\00:36:20.88 side. And that's just so exciting. It's some point. 00:36:20.88\00:36:24.71 >> It would be selfish of us not to give the audience at 00:36:24.71\00:36:27.88 home a chance to be a part of this later on, OK, Don, so get 00:36:27.88\00:36:32.55 ready because we feel very selfish. Not let me be a part 00:36:32.55\00:36:36.16 of this talk about. And so our book never. And he says we can. 00:36:36.16\00:36:43.57 >> He's shifting commitment because the next part is just 00:36:43.57\00:36:46.74 as exciting, OK, the next part of what we're going to talk 00:36:46.74\00:36:48.67 about. But just to kind of cap on our book project, 00:36:48.67\00:36:52.37 we have not only done the the physical paper books because, 00:36:52.37\00:36:55.88 you know, I still like to read a book, okay. We have almost 00:36:55.88\00:37:00.68 9 million copies of these distributors now and we only 00:37:00.68\00:37:03.95 see blue sky in the future because as long as God allows 00:37:03.95\00:37:07.29 that to happen, as long as the presses can keep running as 00:37:07.29\00:37:09.79 long as we have distribution, these books can go out. We also 00:37:09.79\00:37:13.40 have the digital element that is really develop beyond our 00:37:13.40\00:37:16.56 wildest imaginations could have fought back a few years back 00:37:16.56\00:37:20.34 and God is in it. That's the big thing. Yeah, this is not 00:37:20.34\00:37:23.34 done by any human element. We're just instruments in God's 00:37:23.34\00:37:27.11 hands. But the holy spirit is in this and he's causing it to 00:37:27.11\00:37:30.68 explode right now because the time is right. That's right. 00:37:30.68\00:37:33.38 You know what else is? 00:37:33.38\00:37:34.58 >> Really impressive to mayor. Maybe we should think about it. 00:37:34.58\00:37:38.62 You know, new books are coming out by new authors all the 00:37:38.62\00:37:41.19 time. You know, we're not sure. 00:37:41.19\00:37:43.76 You know, what can we read? This is this truth is that 00:37:43.76\00:37:47.40 these have been established for so long that everybody in the 00:37:47.40\00:37:51.27 church and they logically and every other way there's we know 00:37:51.27\00:37:55.57 exactly what's in these books and it gives you great 00:37:55.57\00:37:58.17 security. Wait, I'm not just funding, you know, bunch books. 00:37:58.17\00:38:01.61 These are books. They're incredible book sent some of 00:38:01.61\00:38:05.01 them over 100 years. But 00:38:05.01\00:38:06.82 >> still have a I want to make one comment Tuesday to consider 00:38:06.82\00:38:10.85 before you we're fighting the view that these men I said, 00:38:10.85\00:38:14.99 I sit much about separate them. Haha. 00:38:14.99\00:38:20.90 >> I do want to make a comment about, you know, why Ellen 00:38:20.90\00:38:23.57 White books and I have met several people that have come 00:38:23.57\00:38:26.87 into the church from Ellen White's books. The most common 00:38:26.87\00:38:30.84 is the great controversy. But interestingly, someone very 00:38:30.84\00:38:33.91 close to me, someone that we met in Ireland given because of 00:38:33.91\00:38:37.65 paychecks and profits. Yes. And so I think that these books 00:38:37.65\00:38:42.32 in these times in which we're living, we are going to be 00:38:42.32\00:38:44.89 extremely it might sound dry. But when you read them in my 00:38:44.89\00:38:49.52 favorite is the desire of ages and credible. Yes, but for some 00:38:49.52\00:38:53.60 people pay trucks in profits. And this person happened to be 00:38:53.60\00:38:57.80 an atheist at the time she was. And she is currently in medical 00:38:57.80\00:39:02.07 school at Loma Linda, but she had a degree in art history. 00:39:02.07\00:39:07.98 So you'd appealing to different minds. And I like the fact that 00:39:07.98\00:39:10.95 there is a set because then people can look to and say, 00:39:10.95\00:39:14.12 oh, no, that sounds interesting. Jackson profit. 00:39:14.12\00:39:16.38 Yes, sounds interesting. 00:39:16.38\00:39:18.12 And then some of that might have a soft aside. My C the 00:39:18.12\00:39:20.99 desire of a someone that has a more global view of life would 00:39:20.99\00:39:25.36 see some more value, though. So I think it's nice that we 00:39:25.36\00:39:28.33 sell them was a set. We can so that individual as well. 00:39:28.33\00:39:31.27 But I think that these books in that time most re living this 00:39:31.27\00:39:35.20 this project, I think it's going to be incredibly yes, 00:39:35.20\00:39:38.37 important as we go on the excited about what Denzel was 00:39:38.37\00:39:42.24 saying to about 00:39:42.24\00:39:44.81 these books, people be able to access the information in these 00:39:44.81\00:39:49.82 languages where it's forbidden to teach Christianity. I I I 00:39:49.82\00:39:55.62 like to read about the persecuted Christians and how 00:39:55.62\00:39:59.49 when you over in certain countries you can't 00:39:59.49\00:40:01.53 proselytize, you can have a Bible. You can't do any of that 00:40:01.53\00:40:05.40 and to be able to access this information in the privacy of 00:40:05.40\00:40:09.87 your own home where no one else knows what you do it that such 00:40:09.87\00:40:14.31 a God thing. Yes, God is making a way for everybody to know 00:40:14.31\00:40:19.08 about him in everybody. And that's it's too. That's so 00:40:19.08\00:40:23.05 exciting is happening. It happening happening. 00:40:23.05\00:40:26.35 >> You'd be surprised how many people are doing in those 00:40:26.35\00:40:29.99 languages are reading these laws. We're not going to talk 00:40:29.99\00:40:32.96 about it because we don't want to get no, yes, anyone trouble. 00:40:32.96\00:40:37.27 But, you know, my family on my father's side came through that 00:40:37.27\00:40:41.17 came for the church to the deserve ages, really. And so 00:40:41.17\00:40:44.27 I've always had a special spot in my heart for that. But but I 00:40:44.27\00:40:47.31 also want to tell you that the other part that's so important 00:40:47.31\00:40:50.35 is that we partner. That's not just us. We're partnering like, 00:40:50.35\00:40:54.28 for example, when we these are digitized cost just under $2000 00:40:54.28\00:40:57.95 to do a book, by the way, is what it cost to get one done. 00:40:57.95\00:41:01.29 And 00:41:01.29\00:41:02.39 and we partner with a no Andrews University, the whitest 00:41:02.39\00:41:06.80 states and there are several organizations that we work 00:41:06.80\00:41:09.50 together offer gets them, Pacific Press and some other 00:41:09.50\00:41:12.70 put other organizations that we work together, partner, partner 00:41:12.70\00:41:16.07 together. 00:41:16.07\00:41:17.64 >> To facilitate this is not just us being involved. It's us 00:41:17.64\00:41:20.34 working together. We kind of care are catalysts were 00:41:20.34\00:41:22.71 catalyst that there are many players out the design as an 00:41:22.71\00:41:25.48 example of our good friend Mark bonded a beautiful job on the 00:41:25.48\00:41:28.05 design. I just want to say one last word before we move off of 00:41:28.05\00:41:30.59 this next great controversy. Denzel's family came in and 00:41:30.59\00:41:33.36 deserve. Jazmine came in and great controversy. My 00:41:33.36\00:41:35.66 grandfather in 1932. 00:41:35.66\00:41:38.49 had a young girl on the ranch that he was working at trying 00:41:38.49\00:41:41.56 to survive the depression 00:41:41.56\00:41:43.16 by 10 years old. Maybe she was helping with food or who knows 00:41:43.16\00:41:46.30 what she told her call Porter father. I think Mister Houghton 00:41:46.30\00:41:50.01 would be somebody opened to great conifers. He came around 00:41:50.01\00:41:53.07 and sold my grandfather a book in 1932. And that's why our 00:41:53.07\00:41:57.08 entire family 00:41:57.08\00:41:58.51 has become part of the 7th, the evidence family. So it is more 00:41:58.51\00:42:03.15 than gratifying for me to be able to be involved in seeing 00:42:03.15\00:42:06.25 this explode. And I know doesn't feel the same way with 00:42:06.25\00:42:08.66 deserve ages and deprive many people watching right now who 00:42:08.66\00:42:11.59 can tell the same story. But if there's any book that 00:42:11.59\00:42:14.36 was appropriate for right now, 00:42:14.36\00:42:17.10 this is the book meant that desire of a just and steps to 00:42:17.10\00:42:19.87 Christ are essential yet for your relationship with God. 00:42:19.87\00:42:23.34 And I don't do this and only the other undone, but I want to 00:42:23.34\00:42:26.57 just encourage everybody that's listening to us now. This book, 00:42:26.57\00:42:30.71 if you haven't read it 00:42:30.71\00:42:32.51 recently or ever and all you need to read the book, great 00:42:32.51\00:42:35.88 controversy, get a copy if you don't have one. I know we'll 00:42:35.88\00:42:39.32 told people how they can do that in a few minutes. Yeah. 00:42:39.32\00:42:42.62 And yet again, tell me what your church did because I think 00:42:42.62\00:42:44.89 those so special our church during the COVID situation out 00:42:44.89\00:42:48.26 and I'm from Fallbrook, California 00:42:48.26\00:42:51.07 and our church said, you know, we're stuck. We can't meet 00:42:51.07\00:42:54.10 right now. We're and we were meeting outside fortunes, 00:42:54.10\00:42:56.20 California. We we're able to meet outdoors under a roof that 00:42:56.20\00:43:00.44 we had in our church. We never had stop having church, but we 00:43:00.44\00:43:03.71 had to meet outdoors. We said we want to do something. 00:43:03.71\00:43:05.98 So we begin 00:43:05.98\00:43:07.38 a project in the fall of 2020 00:43:07.38\00:43:11.19 and we said we're going to cover the 2 towns that are 00:43:11.19\00:43:13.02 closest to us. And we went out the door to door in a little 00:43:13.02\00:43:15.59 bag and we put these on the doorstep. We we were mask. 00:43:15.59\00:43:19.19 We were trying to make sure we were very appropriate. But we 00:43:19.19\00:43:22.10 started we covered in our people, went door to door just 00:43:22.10\00:43:24.13 like the old and gathering used to me. You go door to go down 00:43:24.13\00:43:27.54 the road. You not trying to talk to people this leaving. 00:43:27.54\00:43:29.57 It had a nice letter inside. Pretty soon. We kept going and 00:43:29.57\00:43:32.57 kept going. And as as I mentioned a minute ago, we're 00:43:32.57\00:43:35.24 now out 35 40 miles away from our town, covering smaller 00:43:35.24\00:43:39.65 towns. And we've now distributed almost 160,000 00:43:39.65\00:43:43.35 copies of this book in our area around us just in 160,000. 00:43:43.35\00:43:49.52 Your people, your your churches, drought churches has 00:43:49.52\00:43:52.29 has has given 60,000 says a glass physically. I'm 00:43:52.29\00:43:56.30 incredibly kind of response. Have you gotten? We've had a 00:43:56.30\00:43:58.80 variety of interesting responses home. You know, 00:43:58.80\00:44:02.34 there's a few very few that word. What's this? A lot of 00:44:02.34\00:44:06.68 just quiet. You know, in the last year and a half, 00:44:06.68\00:44:11.21 we are busting at the seams with all kinds of new families 00:44:11.21\00:44:14.48 coming in and just opening of Angeles tick meeting a week and 00:44:14.48\00:44:17.09 a half well week and a half ago. 00:44:17.09\00:44:18.92 And we had real reservations for 800 seats. 00:44:18.92\00:44:25.26 We had to turn away. We only had room to see 300 plus our 00:44:25.26\00:44:28.03 overflow with turn away. 100 cars were seeing people 00:44:28.03\00:44:31.20 come out of the woodwork because right now everybody out 00:44:31.20\00:44:34.87 there saying some things were going on. Yes, don't know what 00:44:34.87\00:44:37.51 it is. Yeah, the feeling and if there's anybody that has an 00:44:37.51\00:44:40.54 answer for that out of the scriptures, we do. And that's 00:44:40.54\00:44:43.75 right. So the response, you know, we were telling White 00:44:43.75\00:44:47.12 says, get this out, there know the time will come when all of 00:44:47.12\00:44:51.22 a sudden people say, oh, wasn't there something they're going 00:44:51.22\00:44:53.96 to find that book the library. So we're just 00:44:53.96\00:44:56.96 >> getting on the end of ours. Told us recently to set up the 00:44:56.96\00:45:00.50 book minister is dead. What? No one dog. People don't read 00:45:00.50\00:45:04.37 books. Well, we can give you, you know, probably 1000 00:45:04.37\00:45:07.84 examples. Yeah, that one get this one on one of our books. 00:45:07.84\00:45:11.44 And I know which one it was these books. But someone 00:45:11.44\00:45:16.31 through the book away, they threw away the guy who came in 00:45:16.31\00:45:20.42 garbage truck, picked up 00:45:20.42\00:45:22.72 the garbage, saw the book, read it and came to church and that 00:45:22.72\00:45:26.79 ties Ayad was Baha. Another person was out on the ocean 00:45:26.79\00:45:31.93 getting ready to said we just what and I and the sand. 00:45:31.93\00:45:37.53 I found the books. They read the book became. So those goes 00:45:37.53\00:45:41.27 on that that that is believe me. That is not true. This the 00:45:41.27\00:45:45.67 millions and people are looking for to it. Yeah. 00:45:45.67\00:45:48.58 >> And Danny, I I think it's either where I think it he's 00:45:48.58\00:45:51.35 completely wrong because I believe in this digital age and 00:45:51.35\00:45:54.48 everything that you see today, especially in first world 00:45:54.48\00:45:57.69 countries going back to basics, going back to opening up the 00:45:57.69\00:46:01.86 Bible, going up in reading books. I think more than ever 00:46:01.86\00:46:05.63 it is what people really want that rather than trying because 00:46:05.63\00:46:09.36 we're trying to we're trying to go after this Hollywood stuff. 00:46:09.36\00:46:12.47 And frankly, how do you how do you do need to compete against 00:46:12.47\00:46:16.20 that? We have some so much better, right? 00:46:16.20\00:46:18.71 >> Well, you have the holy spirit with these best, whether 00:46:18.71\00:46:22.41 you're reading it on an iPhone or an iPad or computer or in 00:46:22.41\00:46:25.71 paper. And we're just we're actually I have to tell you 00:46:25.71\00:46:29.25 that we're a little bit awed 00:46:29.25\00:46:31.79 ourselves by what we've seen. God do with this. We never 00:46:31.79\00:46:35.29 expected to have in 2023 be sitting here with you and 00:46:35.29\00:46:38.56 telling you the story about this in these numbers. We 00:46:38.56\00:46:41.10 didn't we didn't expect that. That's God's blessing. 00:46:41.10\00:46:43.37 Mirroring simple. It's not us. It's God and man. 00:46:43.37\00:46:46.47 >> That is so willing to use anyone willing to the year. 00:46:46.47\00:46:49.00 That's right. Yes. 00:46:49.00\00:46:50.27 >> And you can see that he's flying in because we are 00:46:50.27\00:46:54.61 excited about all the things are happening in 00:46:54.61\00:46:57.31 and we have a long ways to go still. 00:46:57.31\00:46:59.75 >> We're gonna make you're going to make or intend to. 00:46:59.75\00:47:03.42 But the I've talking. Yeah. Haha. Another exciting. 00:47:03.42\00:47:09.89 >> Said of of offerings that we have its size. The new 00:47:09.89\00:47:14.03 beginnings. I call it no. The new beginning. Sweet of of 00:47:14.03\00:47:18.47 of resources that we have. We have the evangelistic series 00:47:18.47\00:47:22.14 and now we have a health and Bible study guides. And so 00:47:22.14\00:47:25.07 we're probably going to sit way into that. And then at the 00:47:25.07\00:47:28.18 other side, we'll continue with that. And hopefully we will end 00:47:28.18\00:47:31.71 up on international medical work. 00:47:31.71\00:47:33.85 >> Haha, but opening bill. 00:47:33.85\00:47:38.52 >> Well, at first, I want to just clarify that, you know, 00:47:38.52\00:47:42.62 PSI members are involved in their local church as their 00:47:42.62\00:47:45.73 involved in their local businesses involved a share in 00:47:45.73\00:47:48.13 Christ it where they are. But we also work together and 00:47:48.13\00:47:51.70 is then and collaborate. As I mentioned before, the 00:47:51.70\00:47:54.40 learner as he multiplies, we work together for him. And the 00:47:54.40\00:47:58.01 project they want to talk about right now started started back 00:47:58.01\00:48:01.24 in 2000. And it actually started with my father was one 00:48:01.24\00:48:06.48 of the one of the people that, again, it's several people 00:48:06.48\00:48:10.62 coming together 00:48:10.62\00:48:12.52 before I do that. I just want you to know that prayers. 00:48:12.52\00:48:15.59 The most important thing. I don't want anyone to think 00:48:15.59\00:48:18.49 that we're the holy Spirit does work. We just do the presenting 00:48:18.49\00:48:22.50 and might be the story of a I was at a pastor's house and the 00:48:22.50\00:48:27.17 his little to 3 year-old boy was there. It says. And there's 00:48:27.17\00:48:29.97 this great, big, huge pile of dirt on a on a wheel barrel. 00:48:29.97\00:48:33.68 And he came up to me and kept me on the shores is my again. 00:48:33.68\00:48:37.18 I move that wheel barrel and we brought it over there. And he 00:48:37.18\00:48:40.25 pointed to me and I thought, well, that's a lot like we are. 00:48:40.25\00:48:43.42 You know, we're we're we're like that little boy and God 00:48:43.42\00:48:45.92 does all the heavy lifting. Yeah, you know, and that's what 00:48:45.92\00:48:48.36 we've got a look at as we talk about this. So I want to make 00:48:48.36\00:48:51.19 sure that whatever we say, all honor glory and praise going 00:48:51.19\00:48:54.93 and then nothing that we do are we do 00:48:54.93\00:48:59.53 what happened in and we can maybe start with the pictures 00:48:59.53\00:49:02.10 that you can start because prayers. The most important 00:49:02.10\00:49:04.54 part of what we're going to talk about. Here's a picture of 00:49:04.54\00:49:06.94 a gentleman praying in a in a you in Cuba actually is in Cuba 00:49:06.94\00:49:12.98 where that picture was taken to show you pictures around the 00:49:12.98\00:49:15.72 world. But the next pitch or want to show is a picture of my 00:49:15.72\00:49:18.92 father and Bob Paulson. Now, my dad is, you know, he's been on 00:49:18.92\00:49:22.69 a sigh and we're going to talk about with one-day church in 00:49:22.69\00:49:25.69 roofs and things like that that he's been involved with along 00:49:25.69\00:49:28.20 with many other people. But what happened was dead was 00:49:28.20\00:49:30.93 billed as some churches in India and the conference spread 00:49:30.93\00:49:34.40 of the mission or excuse me, the division president said to 00:49:34.40\00:49:36.97 my father, Garland, you're as good at building churches ever 00:49:36.97\00:49:39.97 thought about killing one. 00:49:39.97\00:49:41.51 And he goes well, that can't be that hard. You know, I can 00:49:41.51\00:49:44.31 dance. So he so he says sure will do one. It's as he's 00:49:44.31\00:49:46.98 flying back. He realized the way committed to see causes 00:49:46.98\00:49:50.09 best friend Bob Paul says, Bob, let's do an evangelistic 00:49:50.09\00:49:53.59 series. And Bob says, well, I've never really done one 00:49:53.59\00:49:56.36 before, but sure I doing with your car one and debt is good. 00:49:56.36\00:50:00.03 You preaching all okah who these men went over and step 00:50:00.03\00:50:05.97 down in faith and went to India and preaching. I know you 00:50:05.97\00:50:09.00 showed this on 3ABN I was with them. You're with them. You're 00:50:09.00\00:50:12.21 with and the one the first of all, Paul, Bob Paulson. And and 00:50:12.21\00:50:16.91 they stepped out. He's in over 3,000. People were baptized so 00:50:16.91\00:50:21.85 that it that had just taken place. And so I I've had the 00:50:21.85\00:50:25.79 privilege of working with Pastor Finley and Accorded 00:50:25.79\00:50:28.62 Angeles, 6 series for him in Romania. And I was going to a 00:50:28.62\00:50:33.09 partnership and I was in the North Pacific Union and I was 00:50:33.09\00:50:37.10 there and 00:50:37.10\00:50:39.50 Benny Mor and Dwayne Key were there with me. And this is 00:50:39.50\00:50:44.07 definitely got to see this. And then in Kia just preached 00:50:44.07\00:50:47.98 evangelist 6 series in 00:50:47.98\00:50:51.81 in Africa and they digitally taking the pictures of regular 00:50:51.81\00:50:56.69 because every at that time there's one white men, white 00:50:56.69\00:50:59.52 women going to have an with weight Angels. Basically, 00:50:59.52\00:51:02.29 it's all there was American, all the artist, all the art 00:51:02.29\00:51:04.39 walk away now. So he did. Julie took a digital picture 00:51:04.39\00:51:07.50 and digitally put in Africans of African people going to have 00:51:07.50\00:51:11.40 an African angels. And when he did that, the crowd just went 00:51:11.40\00:51:15.57 wild. They showed any showed me a video that now that's when is 00:51:15.57\00:51:20.48 one megapixel cameras. It took 20 minutes just to process one 00:51:20.48\00:51:24.11 make discomfiture well. And he showed us that says what if we 00:51:24.11\00:51:28.25 could graphically do this? In culture rises another 00:51:28.25\00:51:31.59 evangelists experience at the same time, you know, dead dead 00:51:31.59\00:51:35.29 and about Paul. So just preached an and I thought why 00:51:35.29\00:51:38.83 can't we make that do book a double? What the same time. 00:51:38.83\00:51:42.66 You know, elder Falkenberg have was what year he called Boy 00:51:42.66\00:51:47.94 called Me is that I got this idea. Get laypeople to preach 00:51:47.94\00:51:50.97 like your dad. Did you know some people who would like to 00:51:50.97\00:51:53.54 preach 00:51:53.54\00:51:54.64 and I go, I don't know anyone who would like to do that. 00:51:54.64\00:51:59.11 And so the idea came about as let's design a set of sermons 00:51:59.11\00:52:03.49 that anyone could preach because right now, if you ask 00:52:03.49\00:52:06.96 me as a banker, that's what I mean. That's how I make my 00:52:06.96\00:52:09.39 living is I'm going to preach an evangelistic series first 00:52:09.39\00:52:14.20 year at the pick me up off the floor and after you get up 00:52:14.20\00:52:16.93 unless they know I can't do it right. But what you do. But I 00:52:16.93\00:52:19.83 did was is design Evangelist 6 series that anyone can preach 00:52:19.83\00:52:24.11 and make it very simple. So Bob called and so we started 00:52:24.11\00:52:28.11 working to that project process. And 00:52:28.11\00:52:31.98 and because when Bob preached his assembly met and mess up 00:52:31.98\00:52:35.78 here and apologize to get nervous up here. But what Bob 00:52:35.78\00:52:39.79 Paulson, when he did his sermons, Dwayne McKee and and 00:52:39.79\00:52:44.93 anymore, and that group helped him with the service. He spent 00:52:44.93\00:52:47.96 hundreds 100's of hours developing his sermons. As we 00:52:47.96\00:52:51.67 said, if we could have won this developed, we can make it 00:52:51.67\00:52:54.24 simple so other people could breach what that time. Bob 00:52:54.24\00:52:57.41 Hawke Umber calls me on the phone. Please messages says 00:52:57.41\00:53:00.64 Denzel, I'm thinking about getting late people involved 00:53:00.64\00:53:03.08 with the preaching. You know, anyone who would like to do 00:53:03.08\00:53:05.65 that and my wife, I was traveling time. My wife plays 00:53:05.65\00:53:09.62 that on the phone and she goes, you know, anyone who could 00:53:09.62\00:53:12.65 preach and I go, I don't know anyone who could do that. 00:53:12.65\00:53:15.29 You're all have to think about that. When you think about 00:53:15.29\00:53:17.59 that. Well, I drive home. As soon as I walk in the door, 00:53:17.59\00:53:21.23 my wife walks me to the to the at that time was a voice 00:53:21.23\00:53:24.40 recorder and plays that again. 00:53:24.40\00:53:27.04 And she and I go on 00:53:27.04\00:53:29.17 and I was wondering why you're doing that. She goes well, 00:53:29.17\00:53:31.54 she says you're trying to design a of Angeles Sixers that 00:53:31.54\00:53:34.28 anyone could breach. If you could do it, 00:53:34.28\00:53:37.01 anyone could haha. And you know, you should try doing 00:53:37.01\00:53:41.92 that. I go me. I can't do that. Well, if you can do it, anyone 00:53:41.92\00:53:45.12 can do it. You should do that. And immediately I thought to 00:53:45.12\00:53:47.59 myself, well, we've got to get a group of people get. My first 00:53:47.59\00:53:50.49 thought was I called my book, my friend and Houghton. And as 00:53:50.49\00:53:54.50 it was a good idea, right? And we called all these 00:53:54.50\00:53:58.83 different people together. Yes, to to come together. 00:53:58.83\00:54:03.54 And then in the next picture, we'll show it just to the next 00:54:03.54\00:54:06.88 picture shows us with that sub anymore and 00:54:06.88\00:54:14.32 the way to do it with the brand. But there's also many 00:54:14.32\00:54:16.99 people enough, forget it. We're blessed because the elder 00:54:16.99\00:54:20.56 Finley was involved there. And we he had a set of 00:54:20.56\00:54:23.79 graphics. And so we worked with Don great to do the graphics. 00:54:23.79\00:54:26.90 We work with Bryce Williams. We worked with all these 00:54:26.90\00:54:29.60 different between partner with it is harder than it was 00:54:29.60\00:54:32.00 written on that project. And the picture you just saw 00:54:32.00\00:54:34.87 was of a all all over. And he was there telling us about his 00:54:34.87\00:54:39.21 experience because he's an accountant and he's very shy 00:54:39.21\00:54:43.04 and I'll never forget he was over in Africa and he was 00:54:43.04\00:54:46.51 supposed to be there to pick up bags and things like that. 00:54:46.51\00:54:49.38 When he got there, he found out that they need a preacher and 00:54:49.38\00:54:52.35 there's nobody there. So you had to breach. It had never 00:54:52.35\00:54:55.19 preached before. And if you know this man, he's very shy 00:54:55.19\00:54:58.43 and timid and I'll never forget when he got back. He told me 00:54:58.43\00:55:01.83 that story. And I asked him, I says, so. How do you feel any 00:55:01.83\00:55:07.14 started tearing up? And he says, I can't describe that. 00:55:07.14\00:55:10.44 And when I when I saw that I go, I want that feeling. 00:55:10.44\00:55:15.01 I want to be able to be able to do that as well. So the next 00:55:15.01\00:55:18.81 picture you'll see a group of us. We want to the Philippines 00:55:18.81\00:55:22.42 and we have all these different people getting together to 00:55:22.42\00:55:26.65 preach of Angeles taxes for the first time. We've got the 00:55:26.65\00:55:29.39 sermons the day before we left. So none of us had time to 00:55:29.39\00:55:33.03 practice. We're really blessed to Louis Torres was there to 00:55:33.03\00:55:37.93 help us to learn how to do the preaching. Dan, you had a big 00:55:37.93\00:55:41.57 intel tell you have church. 00:55:41.57\00:55:43.07 >> I was you know, I I was in Mindanao 00:55:43.07\00:55:45.81 and we had 5,000 people in our audience. And I was I preach 00:55:45.81\00:55:51.11 that series. I had a translator was really quite. I've never 00:55:51.11\00:55:53.48 been translated before. And the union president, I forgot his 00:55:53.48\00:55:56.72 name now, but he was my translator said about that 00:55:56.72\00:55:59.05 time. He I'm on the 6 foot, 2 guy. And he sees. But man, 00:55:59.05\00:56:02.89 he's I don't know what he was saying. Haha, I knew it. 00:56:02.89\00:56:09.26 I mean, we had there were 500 people from my site were 00:56:09.26\00:56:12.47 baptized. It was really one of those mountain gratify care and 00:56:12.47\00:56:15.77 my wife, Karen, did the health talks every night. We had some 00:56:15.77\00:56:18.11 of that whole story. And it was really funny in the appeals 00:56:18.11\00:56:21.34 because they taught us do all the different things you do. 00:56:21.34\00:56:23.31 They simplified every aspect of presenting an evangelist 00:56:23.31\00:56:26.61 meeting 00:56:26.61\00:56:27.68 and I'll never forget. I mean, the appeal and I'm going 00:56:27.68\00:56:30.42 strong. Of course, I'm speaking English to all these people to 00:56:30.42\00:56:32.82 speak someone 00:56:32.82\00:56:35.09 and my translator is following me and I'm he's like, you know, 00:56:35.09\00:56:38.63 he's like I'm like a ball and chain on this poor man. We get 00:56:38.63\00:56:42.50 to a certain point. I had the whole audience or 5, 6, in all 00:56:42.50\00:56:45.80 5. I know several 1000 people standing out there. I think I 00:56:45.80\00:56:49.44 5,001 time and they're all sitting on their feet. 00:56:49.44\00:56:52.64 And I remember that all of a sudden he took off her 3, 00:56:52.64\00:56:59.38 4, minutes. He's just talking to the audience, obviously 00:56:59.38\00:57:01.85 remembers and he stops and lets go. And you know what? It was 00:57:01.85\00:57:05.49 awesome to see all those people baptized and Denzel. That was 00:57:05.49\00:57:08.16 the side you had up there. We had over 3,000 people. 00:57:08.16\00:57:10.59 Baptize March. 27, I believe, wasn't it 27 meetings that we 00:57:10.59\00:57:14.66 held simultaneously to prove the concept? Yeah, that anybody 00:57:14.66\00:57:17.70 could do. This is where can't believe this first hour. 00:57:17.70\00:57:21.64 >> I saw the doctor and you were OK, we're going to haha. 00:57:21.64\00:57:26.61 >> I did that. Stay with us and staying with us. But we've got 00:57:26.61\00:57:30.81 to put up a website and a bit when we get back that you can 00:57:30.81\00:57:34.02 go to. And then however, the lords impressed knew how well 00:57:34.02\00:57:37.35 we talked to you about a bit. But right now we're going to go 00:57:37.35\00:57:40.32 away for just a moment or 2. We'll be right back. 00:57:40.32\00:57:43.73 [MUSIC] 00:57:43.73\00:57:48.70 [MUSIC] 00:57:48.70\00:57:53.70 [MUSIC] 00:57:53.70\00:57:58.71 [MUSIC] 00:57:58.71\00:58:13.79
