[MUSIC] 00:00:00.26\00:00:04.90 [MUSIC] 00:00:04.90\00:00:10.24 >> Welcome back to our to our live program here. We always 00:00:10.24\00:00:13.71 love this time that we can spend with you at home. And 00:00:13.71\00:00:16.18 tonight we're spending it with the Evans family. They are from 00:00:16.18\00:00:19.31 child Impact International. 00:00:19.31\00:00:22.28 We reference this is the start of the first hour. If you're 00:00:22.28\00:00:25.12 just joining us, I'm in just a couple weeks on July, 30th its 00:00:25.12\00:00:29.82 World Day against human trafficking. We're talking 00:00:29.82\00:00:33.09 tonight about sensitive topics. We're talking with doctor Thom 00:00:33.09\00:00:36.10 Evans, who's the CEO of Child Impact International. They 00:00:36.10\00:00:40.17 have, of course, they're involved in sponsorship in 00:00:40.17\00:00:42.70 working with children all over the world. But the focus of 00:00:42.70\00:00:45.71 tonight's program is there specific initiative you can say 00:00:45.71\00:00:49.64 with Operation Child Rescue, which is working with children 00:00:49.64\00:00:53.65 all over the world who are trafficked. We have with us 00:00:53.65\00:00:57.42 Doctor, Tom's beautiful wife, Mara, and one of their 00:00:57.42\00:01:01.02 children, Andrea. And we're just so delighted to have you 00:01:01.02\00:01:03.49 all here. You shared the first hour, a personal story of your 00:01:03.49\00:01:08.20 adoption journey and the death 00:01:08.20\00:01:10.67 of your son just a few months ago. Thank you for being open 00:01:10.67\00:01:13.97 and honest and authentic in sharing that and you're looking 00:01:13.97\00:01:17.97 to adopt again. And I neglected to talk about that the first 00:01:17.97\00:01:21.91 hours. Let's talk just a little bit. 00:01:21.91\00:01:23.75 >> Before we jump back into Operation Child Rescue Tunnel 00:01:23.75\00:01:26.78 about your adoption to initially adopted 2 boys from 00:01:26.78\00:01:29.62 Lafayette. And the older boy, of course, is still with us, 00:01:29.62\00:01:32.19 is very healthy and strong as a superstar soccer player. 00:01:32.19\00:01:36.59 But, you know, as I mentioned, are ahead, one out of 10 00:01:36.59\00:01:40.43 children. And we're not there yet, even though we sponsor 00:01:40.43\00:01:44.03 kids your child impact as well. 00:01:44.03\00:01:46.13 But we kind of came back and said, you know what, we should 00:01:46.13\00:01:49.64 really so much time. We don't we would have already adopted 00:01:49.64\00:01:52.97 again had not Andras been sick. Yeah. So that was already in 00:01:52.97\00:01:56.54 our plan and that consumed all of Mars time. And so once 00:01:56.54\00:02:02.28 things settled a little bit, we recognize that 00:02:02.28\00:02:05.75 we need to get serious about it. We're not getting any 00:02:05.75\00:02:08.52 younger. And if we're going to have the energy to keep up with 00:02:08.52\00:02:11.73 kids, we probably better start soon. Right? So I've asked them 00:02:11.73\00:02:15.30 to fast track things this time 00:02:15.30\00:02:17.57 and we worse. 70 paperwork to adopt 2 girls own Bulgaria. 00:02:17.57\00:02:23.71 >> Yeah. The boys requested sisters. Younger sister to 00:02:23.71\00:02:27.41 Yahoo. Got enough boys in the fans. Yeah, girl. Yeah. And 00:02:27.41\00:02:32.45 that's so do you know the girls that you're adopting or not 00:02:32.45\00:02:34.68 yet? 00:02:34.68\00:02:35.85 >> We've never met them, but and we're not going to be doing 00:02:35.85\00:02:38.59 the hosting process this time. We're going straight with 00:02:38.59\00:02:41.32 adoption agency. We've seen them but we've seen them. 00:02:41.32\00:02:44.76 We have a profile. We see videos. Yeah. So it 15 year-old 00:02:44.76\00:02:48.80 and a 9 year-old. 00:02:48.80\00:02:49.83 >> Are they siblings like the only thing case soon? 00:02:49.83\00:02:53.87 >> So it looks like from the best we can tell that they had 00:02:53.87\00:02:57.11 some stability in their lives up to a certain age and then 00:02:57.11\00:02:59.87 things went wrong. So we don't know yet the full story of what 00:02:59.87\00:03:03.11 happened. But some were looking forward to all come in. 00:03:03.11\00:03:07.45 Welcome, welcoming them to our family hopefully soon so that 00:03:07.45\00:03:10.89 you are kind of project won. 43 on this as well. I know 00:03:10.89\00:03:13.49 that's a hosting programs so that we're using the same 00:03:13.49\00:03:15.66 adoption agency, which is CCA. I can see a s incredible 00:03:15.66\00:03:20.80 people. I think you have to look that up and put children 00:03:20.80\00:03:23.57 with the name. When you put CCA, I am on a searching test, 00:03:23.57\00:03:27.44 but they're an excellent ministry. Our Christian 00:03:27.44\00:03:30.31 ministry 00:03:30.31\00:03:31.31 and the surf quite a number of countries. 00:03:31.31\00:03:35.64 We want to get a sibling group because there are so hard for 00:03:35.64\00:03:39.11 siblings to get adopted together, right in older 00:03:39.11\00:03:41.88 children, older, older sibling groups. And so that's not for 00:03:41.88\00:03:44.89 everybody. But that seems to be something that works. Yes, 00:03:44.89\00:03:48.69 yes. 00:03:48.69\00:03:49.72 >> Yeah. You adopted the siblings, Daniel and Andres. 00:03:49.72\00:03:52.06 And now you're looking at 2 girls. Yeah. The Lord that 00:03:52.06\00:03:55.46 society one looks just like more. Yeah, he thinks yes. 00:03:55.46\00:04:03.30 So what do you think about that? I'm excited down into new 00:04:03.30\00:04:05.74 sisters. 00:04:05.74\00:04:07.14 >> Yeah, I'm really excited. I can't wait to see a lot of 00:04:07.14\00:04:09.98 fun. 00:04:09.98\00:04:11.51 >> That's awesome. Very fun. OK? So driving to school under? 00:04:11.51\00:04:15.62 >> Yeah. Haha. Just graduates. And I'm going to be going to 00:04:15.62\00:04:22.46 college summer. 00:04:22.46\00:04:23.53 >> Drop the lawsuit that the high school and you know, 00:04:23.53\00:04:26.23 the and let me know, mistress school there, whatever. And I 00:04:26.23\00:04:29.93 want to go to my classes because the coaches like just 00:04:29.93\00:04:32.50 across the street. So yeah. And what are you going to be 00:04:32.50\00:04:35.57 taken in college speaking? Economists tree? Yeah. He 00:04:35.57\00:04:38.71 selling your like Pre Med stuff. I want to go to med 00:04:38.71\00:04:41.38 school. Yeah. It's going to be a surgeon. What type of 00:04:41.38\00:04:45.01 surgeon? You know? We're not sure yet. 00:04:45.01\00:04:47.75 >> I'm thinking maybe narrower. General surgeon. Yeah, I I 00:04:47.75\00:04:52.62 really want to do stuff for me. Would you like 00:04:52.62\00:04:55.79 mission trips, you know, and helping people in that way? 00:04:55.79\00:04:59.43 >> That's beautiful. That's a testimony to your parents and 00:04:59.43\00:05:02.56 how they've. 00:05:02.56\00:05:04.23 >> Others first and ministering to the Andrea has been very 00:05:04.23\00:05:08.10 involved in the minister of child impact and the 00:05:08.10\00:05:12.57 I couldn't do events without him. So we'll go to an event 00:05:12.57\00:05:15.71 and Andre and Daniel to will help me. They'll set up the, 00:05:15.71\00:05:20.42 you know, everything and and and or knows how to enter 00:05:20.42\00:05:23.62 active people to come by the booth. So all miss him a a S I 00:05:23.62\00:05:28.19 because school of art. He started his first start. 00:05:28.19\00:05:31.19 Haha. But I I would love having this help whenever you can. 00:05:31.19\00:05:34.56 And he comes in the office and helps sometimes to volunteers. 00:05:34.56\00:05:37.63 >> That's crazy. I love that. I love Family Ministry. You 00:05:37.63\00:05:40.84 know, we have all of the ministry together. 00:05:40.84\00:05:42.64 >> And child impact did something very unusual when 00:05:42.64\00:05:44.87 they invited me to serve their, they provided some funds so 00:05:44.87\00:05:48.44 that my family can travel with me. Sometimes this was on their 00:05:48.44\00:05:52.65 initiative. It was it was quite a blessing. Not a huge amount. 00:05:52.65\00:05:56.12 We spend far beyond that for the family to go with me. 00:05:56.12\00:05:59.02 But it's a token support that is very meaningful. 00:05:59.02\00:06:02.42 >> Yeah, praise the Lord. That's really important. 00:06:02.42\00:06:04.59 Absolutely family's important. So we reference of the 00:06:04.59\00:06:07.86 beginning of the program and first hour, of course to about 00:06:07.86\00:06:10.80 and the start of this hour about July 30 being World Day 00:06:10.80\00:06:14.17 against human trafficking. And you've put together a 00:06:14.17\00:06:16.77 special video. We're going to go and take a look at this 00:06:16.77\00:06:19.27 video now which we want to be played in Turkish is right on 00:06:19.27\00:06:23.75 Sabbath, July. 29, so set up the city for us. What are we 00:06:23.75\00:06:26.58 going to see? 00:06:26.58\00:06:27.82 >> Sure. Last year we raise the funds to build this girls 00:06:27.82\00:06:31.19 dormitory and we began the sponsorship process there at 00:06:31.19\00:06:35.32 the school with these 36 Girls, Zambia, Riverside Institute. 00:06:35.32\00:06:39.33 Yeah. And so this is a this video is an 8 minute video 00:06:39.33\00:06:44.80 because we wanted to build. You need to be shown during the 00:06:44.80\00:06:47.27 worship service without maybe taking over the whole worship 00:06:47.27\00:06:49.80 service as a highlight. But we really think is important to 00:06:49.80\00:06:52.71 draw attention awareness, not only awareness, but also the 00:06:52.71\00:06:56.28 ability to take action to make a difference when it comes to 00:06:56.28\00:06:59.25 human trafficking. So this video shares the stories of a 00:06:59.25\00:07:02.75 couple of the girls that have been involved in human 00:07:02.75\00:07:05.72 trafficking. 00:07:05.72\00:07:06.96 And we have tried to put it together in a way where it is 00:07:06.96\00:07:10.79 appropriate as possible to be able to show to a mix, 00:07:10.79\00:07:14.60 generation audience and a local church. So after the video 00:07:14.60\00:07:17.93 shows we will have a slide that will come up. That will give a 00:07:17.93\00:07:21.60 exclusive phone number, either text or call if you would like 00:07:21.60\00:07:26.07 to have that video. 00:07:26.07\00:07:27.58 Additionally, we have a special magazine that we produce that 00:07:27.58\00:07:30.91 highlights all of our projects done at least shows where 00:07:30.91\00:07:34.55 they're out on the map and stories from many of them that 00:07:34.55\00:07:38.72 can be handed out to church members. And there's a donation 00:07:38.72\00:07:42.52 of Lope right in the middle. Don't miss that part because we 00:07:42.52\00:07:46.33 want to make a difference in this area. So anyway, hope you 00:07:46.33\00:07:49.36 enjoy the video and it will be available to be shared. 00:07:49.36\00:07:52.63 >> So the number at the end before we go to the video, 00:07:52.63\00:07:54.54 the number at the end, if they call that number than they can 00:07:54.54\00:07:57.01 get this video to download to share in their church, we will 00:07:57.01\00:08:00.14 provide that. And we want to develop a relationship with 00:08:00.14\00:08:02.74 those individuals that want to do this because we have 00:08:02.74\00:08:04.78 actually a 5 minute video. 00:08:04.78\00:08:07.02 >> Every month for a local church to share and that we 00:08:07.02\00:08:10.52 were blessed with a videographer. This just 00:08:10.52\00:08:12.55 incredible new knows how to tell a story. And anyway, 00:08:12.55\00:08:16.96 we don't make appeals in those 5 minute videos. We want them 00:08:16.96\00:08:20.30 just to be more an awareness story. But this July 30, 00:08:20.30\00:08:24.43 we make a definite making appeal because we wanted this 00:08:24.43\00:08:27.34 is our time of year 00:08:27.34\00:08:28.90 to raise funds for operation Child Rescue to know that we 00:08:28.90\00:08:31.94 can continue the projects we currently have and we can grow 00:08:31.94\00:08:35.91 and add new projects. Yes. And so this is a time of year 00:08:35.91\00:08:38.68 where we make that focus. 00:08:38.68\00:08:39.78 >> And the number at the end will also be able to get the 00:08:39.78\00:08:42.32 magazine's yes, okay. That's for the magazine's Internet. 00:08:42.32\00:08:45.79 All right. So let's take a look at that right now. 00:08:45.79\00:08:47.89 [MUSIC] 00:08:47.89\00:08:50.99 >> Hi, my name. And they're really insecure. And so I know 00:08:50.99\00:08:54.30 world through its first 2 workers in the state in less 00:08:54.30\00:08:57.60 stressed than buying it. 00:08:57.60\00:08:59.83 And I crank you got down me more. Now they face unknown or 00:08:59.83\00:09:04.44 hacked. 00:09:04.44\00:09:05.61 >> Hi, my name is yeah. I'm 12 years old. I'm glad that child 00:09:05.61\00:09:08.91 and that helps girls my age to school instead of being job 00:09:08.91\00:09:12.41 rates. I mean, I'm just a kid. I went to school in point. 00:09:12.41\00:09:15.25 My friends not be John's wife. 00:09:15.25\00:09:17.89 >> Hi, my name is online. I'm 13 years old. I never have 00:09:17.89\00:09:21.76 to worry about what I'm going to be. There's always plenty. 00:09:21.76\00:09:25.26 Some girls my age. 00:09:25.26\00:09:26.36 >> Some felt the truck drivers to provide food for their 00:09:26.36\00:09:29.16 younger siblings. 00:09:29.16\00:09:30.30 >> I'm so happy that child, in fact, rescues these girls so 00:09:30.30\00:09:33.67 they don't have to make that terrible decision. 00:09:33.67\00:09:36.50 Hi, my name is lethal. I'm 15 years old. I don't think that 00:09:36.50\00:09:39.74 kids my age should already have wanted to baby. I still depend 00:09:39.74\00:09:42.94 on my parents. I'm not right to the one. I'm glad to have an 00:09:42.94\00:09:45.58 impact. Gives girls my age other options for their life. 00:09:45.58\00:09:49.02 >> Hi, my name is Andrea. I'm 17 years old. I went to 00:09:49.02\00:09:52.62 anyone working in the sex industry that is under 18 years 00:09:52.62\00:09:55.32 of age is considered to be traffic. 00:09:55.32\00:09:57.66 I choose to say no to the dark and I don't want to fund the 00:09:57.66\00:10:00.96 exploitation of girls do my act. 00:10:00.96\00:10:04.83 >> My name is Genesis. I'm 17 years old and just graduated 00:10:04.83\00:10:08.67 from high school. 00:10:08.67\00:10:10.14 My parents sacrificed for me to go to Christian school. 00:10:10.14\00:10:13.74 The many children have no one to help. 00:10:13.74\00:10:16.75 >> Their sponsorship, 00:10:16.75\00:10:18.21 many girls rescued by child impact can also chase their 00:10:18.21\00:10:21.62 dreams through education. 00:10:21.62\00:10:23.12 [MUSIC] 00:10:23.12\00:10:28.29 >> Some people find it easy, too, right? I like to use a 00:10:28.29\00:10:32.46 viable way to tell you what they've been going through. 00:10:32.46\00:10:36.26 And I would be seemed like 5, 6, people as this challenge. 00:10:36.26\00:10:42.17 >> Telling me how she's feeling what she's going. 00:10:42.17\00:10:47.98 I have one, too. 00:10:47.98\00:10:50.11 >> She's to stay with the pardons come I'm going 00:10:50.11\00:10:52.81 depressed in the process of getting the best time requested 00:10:52.81\00:10:57.45 to have it take help her. But had he would request that 00:10:57.45\00:11:00.86 she should go to the right side to so veggies but to my toes so 00:11:00.86\00:11:05.69 that we can have something to eat. 00:11:05.69\00:11:07.30 >> And she would do this week. Cousin, the cousin's that 00:11:07.30\00:11:11.00 introducing her to a truck driver was and 00:11:11.00\00:11:14.64 >> why she thought it was just suffering the thing. But 00:11:14.64\00:11:17.37 eventually she going to put into the U.S. being there 00:11:17.37\00:11:20.58 because it would even threaten have to see if you don't see 00:11:20.58\00:11:23.28 that this price and what I'm going to do to you, Mary, 00:11:23.28\00:11:27.98 because this bill was good. 00:11:27.98\00:11:30.05 She started doing that and she would sleep with these people. 00:11:30.05\00:11:35.19 >> She talked to her mom home and being believe I should talk 00:11:35.19\00:11:38.59 to a close. 00:11:38.59\00:11:39.86 >> I'm goes said didn't believe her. So she decided to tell 00:11:39.86\00:11:43.23 someone knows who she was going to hear that. And that was 00:11:43.23\00:11:47.54 someone from my school. 00:11:47.54\00:11:49.27 >> So when she came to or fees, she broke down and she was 00:11:49.27\00:11:53.81 crying and she said she doesn't feel like she should be in 00:11:53.81\00:11:57.61 school because what's been happening to time. 00:11:57.61\00:12:01.95 And 00:12:01.95\00:12:03.42 >> what I did was a child who didn't want to to go through or 00:12:03.42\00:12:09.76 that. 00:12:09.76\00:12:10.96 >> But because she was stand as some ways you and needed help. 00:12:10.96\00:12:16.67 Yeah, she 00:12:16.67\00:12:18.97 we got engaged into those caves. 00:12:18.97\00:12:21.87 [MUSIC] 00:12:21.87\00:12:24.77 So a few days ago I received a letter from one of the goes on 00:12:24.77\00:12:29.38 child compacts once a ship. 00:12:29.38\00:12:32.61 She wrote about how her mom was so much money and how mom was 00:12:32.61\00:12:36.72 going to get her estate and then on shock wanted to take. 00:12:36.72\00:12:40.06 We had to adjust to come up the quest for this, knowing that 00:12:40.06\00:12:43.59 she was heavy going maybe exchange those cows and become 00:12:43.59\00:12:48.70 the reach of these 2 goes. But the mom didn't like that. 00:12:48.70\00:12:53.87 One of the other goes here and sponsorship program almost 00:12:53.87\00:12:57.94 experience to that. So has stepmom to current cows and 00:12:57.94\00:13:03.04 some money and what it had to get married to 40 on Landis is 00:13:03.04\00:13:07.18 someone was 14. But this will run only because she was going 00:13:07.18\00:13:11.99 through so much at home. She was beaten by a stepmom 00:13:11.99\00:13:15.52 every single day. She has bruises on her back. She looks 00:13:15.52\00:13:19.46 like she's lost so much weight from everything she's going to. 00:13:19.46\00:13:23.63 She looks like she's actually seek at this point. 00:13:23.63\00:13:28.27 The stories I get to hear her. I mean the site. 00:13:28.27\00:13:33.78 Yeah, most of these goes to Indy. So what Pete, 00:13:33.78\00:13:38.65 [MUSIC] 00:13:38.65\00:13:43.65 [MUSIC] 00:13:43.65\00:13:47.36 like, why? She cried and she's 00:14:18.42\00:14:23.63 very grateful. 00:14:23.63\00:14:25.49 I had to to hear the school as well. Shes had testimony miles 00:14:25.49\00:14:29.90 to raise tending, then watch challenging part didn't and how 00:14:29.90\00:14:34.24 much it's actually going to change their lives. 00:14:34.24\00:14:37.14 >> As a go, I need to queue to a skill is a very whether it's 00:14:37.14\00:14:41.78 easy to you. 00:14:41.78\00:14:42.78 We we face the danger as out the way 00:14:42.78\00:14:46.72 we use banks today and yet for us, it is very safe to eat and 00:14:46.72\00:14:52.55 no, do food stamp food, Greenwood, ducking everything, 00:14:52.55\00:14:55.46 even giving way to move on. The girl was so precious. 00:16:48.14\00:16:51.77 She said look at me in her home to their side. Healthy or yeah 00:16:51.77\00:16:56.51 and tragic stories of them. Just heartbreaking. Yeah, 00:16:56.51\00:17:01.18 who's yeah. You know, sometimes I love the sheltered life. 00:17:01.18\00:17:04.99 He just, you know, you're in your community and your in your 00:17:04.99\00:17:08.59 church here where there's need your where there's poverty. 00:17:08.59\00:17:12.29 But to think about people being sold and can being trafficked 00:17:12.29\00:17:16.50 and being fed forced into things like that. And this 00:17:16.50\00:17:19.37 happens daily, hourly all around the world. 00:17:19.37\00:17:21.94 >> So we have if someone would like to show this video, 00:17:21.94\00:17:24.37 their local church, we have a slide that we could put up. 00:17:24.37\00:17:26.74 Now. 00:17:26.74\00:17:27.91 It's a special designated phone number. They're 4 to 3 to 5, 00:17:27.91\00:17:31.25 0, 00:17:31.25\00:17:32.48 4, 9, 8, 2, that is directly to request this video. And we also 00:17:32.48\00:17:38.65 have a magazine that highlights or other projects that will 00:17:38.65\00:17:42.76 come with that enough for you. 00:17:42.76\00:17:44.36 >> Everyone in the church to get what? Let's give the number 00:17:44.36\00:17:46.46 one more time for those on radio. 4 to 3, 250-4982. 00:17:46.46\00:17:54.70 So you can call or text that fact to that number right now 00:17:54.70\00:17:58.74 and say I want to show that video at my local church on 00:17:58.74\00:18:02.64 July. 29 or I want to get the magazine and use of the 00:18:02.64\00:18:07.52 magazine to churches to making sure that will send 50 a 10200 00:18:07.52\00:18:11.45 have or many magazines are needed. 00:18:11.45\00:18:13.39 >> Our goal is to have 200 churches show the video this 00:18:13.39\00:18:16.46 year, I think or somewhere around one 60 right now. 00:18:16.46\00:18:19.56 So maybe this program will push us to the 100. Oh, yeah, 00:18:19.56\00:18:22.53 it's a goal we have for this year. So that would be great. 00:18:22.53\00:18:25.37 And we just want to keep getting the word out. 00:18:25.37\00:18:27.60 >> Yes, absolutely. We'll talk to us. I think you have a 00:18:27.60\00:18:29.80 little more of the story of one of the girls and with that. 00:18:29.80\00:18:32.74 >> Bike for the mom said yes. So let's let's go to that 00:18:32.74\00:18:35.74 picture of of Sharon. 00:18:35.74\00:18:37.75 This is her mom are receiving a bicycle. This is a call to 00:18:37.75\00:18:42.42 Buffalo bike. It is very sturdy. But the mom was 00:18:42.42\00:18:47.49 actually this debt that's talked about. The video was 00:18:47.49\00:18:49.99 something that the dad is responsible for. And when the 00:18:49.99\00:18:55.00 mom was unwilling to sell the girls to pay the debt, the Dow 00:18:55.00\00:18:59.10 took off. 00:18:59.10\00:19:00.57 And so the large loan sharks came after the mom because they 00:19:00.57\00:19:03.10 know where she lives. And so they gave her 2 options either. 00:19:03.10\00:19:07.61 You give us both of your daughters. They one of the 00:19:07.61\00:19:10.18 younger daughter now to give us both of them. And of course, 00:19:10.18\00:19:14.18 they're going to traffic them and sell them and so on or 00:19:14.18\00:19:17.49 we're going to put you in jail. So neither option and Sharon 00:19:17.49\00:19:20.59 was just distraught about this because you're she's in school. 00:19:20.59\00:19:24.43 She's having the 00:19:24.43\00:19:25.59 a better path to a better life for herself. But her family is 00:19:25.59\00:19:28.80 just about ready to fall to pieces. I'm more than it 00:19:28.80\00:19:31.87 already had, right? 00:19:31.87\00:19:33.64 So we decided to check out the story that Cher and that Cher 00:19:33.64\00:19:38.71 and told Amanda was the lady in the video. And I it's it was 00:19:38.71\00:19:44.11 actually the truth. This was really what happened. And so we 00:19:44.11\00:19:48.18 provided the bicycle. So the mom doesn't have to walk 2 00:19:48.18\00:19:50.95 hours to work. She can get their 2025 minutes instead to 00:19:50.95\00:19:54.89 oh, yeah. And it's a road that can be navigated the bicycle. 00:19:54.89\00:19:58.23 So that part was important to check out too. Yeah. And so 00:19:58.23\00:20:02.60 that will give her more time to earn money to support the 00:20:02.60\00:20:04.97 family. And we also gave or the funds to pay off the debt 00:20:04.97\00:20:09.50 that's owed. It was about $411. Their lives were falling to 00:20:09.50\00:20:13.11 pieces because of $411. And so we didn't want her to be 00:20:13.11\00:20:17.11 tempted for that money to go somewhere else 00:20:17.11\00:20:19.91 and so are pulled that somebody said, no, this is for you. 00:20:19.91\00:20:22.78 This is, you know, for you guys to eat and to take care of the 00:20:22.78\00:20:25.15 family. So, you know, just 00:20:25.15\00:20:28.32 it's heartbreaking to see how so little can cause such chaos. 00:20:28.32\00:20:32.89 They would have to work their whole lives to pay this dad and 00:20:32.89\00:20:36.06 never be able to get out of thunder. 00:20:36.06\00:20:38.37 >> I just can't believe that $411 and they were going to 00:20:38.37\00:20:41.80 sow. 00:20:41.80\00:20:43.00 >> The girl the girl said they would have made more money than 00:20:43.00\00:20:44.97 that if they take rivals are. And so they hope that she would 00:20:44.97\00:20:49.01 go that route. Instead of putting her in jail, we're even 00:20:49.01\00:20:52.45 painted that they would prefer to take the group's one of the 00:20:52.45\00:20:55.28 girls. So the debt kept the girl safe, her sister's 13 00:20:55.28\00:21:00.36 and walks 3 hours to school. So we're told that on these 00:21:00.36\00:21:03.69 bikes, the fit 3 or 4 people really. So the daughter will 00:21:03.69\00:21:07.66 get at least to 2 hours or walk will be cut down. Yes, but 00:21:07.66\00:21:10.97 right on the bike. 00:21:10.97\00:21:12.50 >> That's incredible. Yeah. You know, one of the things I 00:21:12.50\00:21:14.74 like about child impact is that you take time to I call it vet 00:21:14.74\00:21:18.44 the stories. I don't know what you call it, but sure you check 00:21:18.44\00:21:21.11 out this story or check out. Can it actually can bike take 00:21:21.11\00:21:24.38 that route? Yeah, it's so important because E U I as a 00:21:24.38\00:21:28.52 donor as a sponsor, you want to make sure that what you're 00:21:28.52\00:21:31.69 donating toward the organization is not just being 00:21:31.69\00:21:34.86 taken advantage of, you know, so using wisdom and common 00:21:34.86\00:21:38.69 sense praying about his decision. So I applaud that. 00:21:38.69\00:21:42.43 Good for you. Yeah. 00:21:42.43\00:21:43.63 >> It's important, too. Because the temptation for funds to go 00:21:43.63\00:21:47.17 somewhere else is great. 00:21:47.17\00:21:49.00 >> Yeah, yeah. Let's talk about some of the other projects and 00:21:49.00\00:21:52.61 I know we'll come back here to Zambian Riverside Farm is to do 00:21:52.61\00:21:55.18 because that is the specific focus of our talk tonight. 00:21:55.18\00:21:57.85 But let's talk about some of the other projects said 00:21:57.85\00:22:00.08 Operation Child Rescue is involved in specifically 00:22:00.08\00:22:02.92 helping maturity. 00:22:02.92\00:22:04.32 >> We currently have 16 projects in 12 countries. 00:22:04.32\00:22:07.29 And as you mentioned earlier, we're leading in this of fight 00:22:07.29\00:22:10.53 against human trafficking in the evidence church. 00:22:10.53\00:22:12.53 Absolutely. We have 5 requests currently of other projects 00:22:12.53\00:22:17.07 that we would like to start, but we can't neglect the ones 00:22:17.07\00:22:21.87 that we've already started. And so that's why we started 00:22:21.87\00:22:24.07 this rescue party initiative 00:22:24.07\00:22:26.17 where people actually give monthly because that helps us 00:22:26.17\00:22:29.48 get stability with the projects where he have to know how much 00:22:29.48\00:22:32.55 we can expand. In September. We open up project number 17. 00:22:32.55\00:22:38.72 >> And Mars on country has the yeah. Yeah. 00:22:38.72\00:22:42.86 >> So Brazil has something called the velezmore. I don't 00:22:42.86\00:22:45.73 know if you can share what is a fella for those that may not 00:22:45.73\00:22:48.50 know. 00:22:48.50\00:22:49.76 >> It's a very poor neighborhood where people will 00:22:49.76\00:22:55.17 build houses, however, in just that bricks together and top of 00:22:55.17\00:22:59.91 each other in. 00:22:59.91\00:23:01.18 >> It's like this little slumps. Yeah. And the Velez. 00:23:01.18\00:23:06.08 How safe are they? 00:23:06.08\00:23:07.55 >> They're not. That's where drug dealers are. That's where 00:23:07.55\00:23:10.85 a cart housing drug cartels live in them. It's were zone a 00:23:10.85\00:23:16.62 lot of times they're shooting in, you know, in a lot of dogs, 00:23:16.62\00:23:21.26 a lot of homelessness in that place with kids living in the 00:23:21.26\00:23:25.90 street in holes that they find little in their places. 00:23:25.90\00:23:30.81 Yeah, it can be a very stressful to live in a place 00:23:30.81\00:23:35.01 like that. Besides the stress of, you know, I'm trying to 00:23:35.01\00:23:38.81 make a living, trying to feed your children and then being 00:23:38.81\00:23:42.65 careful for the danger around you. It is Sam. So it's it's 00:23:42.65\00:23:46.59 sad. It's a prime place to be trafficked. 00:23:46.59\00:23:49.12 >> Yes, I absolutely refuse to take it through. So soles. 00:23:49.12\00:23:54.56 We found a very interesting partnership there. 00:23:54.56\00:23:58.03 There was a church and center of influence that had been 00:23:58.03\00:24:01.10 built and Ted Wilson dedicated the center of influence 00:24:01.10\00:24:05.97 but has not been used. Nothing had been opened up. And so 00:24:05.97\00:24:09.01 that's been built and sitting there for a couple of years. 00:24:09.01\00:24:11.51 And there's some pressure that's coming like something to 00:24:11.51\00:24:14.82 happen with this facility. And so 00:24:14.82\00:24:17.49 after Brazil actually is a partner with us on this project 00:24:17.49\00:24:21.26 and they handed us this building and said, you guys go 00:24:21.26\00:24:24.23 for it. And so we're we're actually open up child impact, 00:24:24.23\00:24:27.76 Brazil. This will be our first project there and it will be an 00:24:27.76\00:24:31.77 after-school program. Kids go to school 2 different times a 00:24:31.77\00:24:34.67 day. So the kids go to school the morning, 00:24:34.67\00:24:37.11 get the after school program the afternoon those ago school 00:24:37.11\00:24:39.27 in the afternoon come the morning. So be used all day 00:24:39.27\00:24:41.31 long. And so that's a brand new project right on the edge of 00:24:41.31\00:24:44.78 the FA Villa's elementary age or high school age. It's it's 00:24:44.78\00:24:48.02 more the element rummage. Yeah, so but this will is right 00:24:48.02\00:24:51.35 on right on the edge of the fellow eye had that smart 00:24:51.35\00:24:54.26 because she heard we're starting a project with of 00:24:54.26\00:24:56.06 Ellis and she's like, that's let's say whoever is running 00:24:56.06\00:24:59.33 the project is going to die. And I mean, she was like talk 00:24:59.33\00:25:03.80 of the people that, you know, you need to check this out 00:25:03.80\00:25:06.07 because some for bell, as you can go, when you, you know, 00:25:06.07\00:25:09.30 sometimes ups take people in the wrong. 00:25:09.30\00:25:11.67 >> Right got, you know, and they don't come out. 00:25:11.67\00:25:15.14 >> It can be very, very there's experiences where I come in. 00:25:15.14\00:25:18.05 And just they just shoot the children. This, you know, 00:25:18.05\00:25:21.05 and we've heard stories like this so 00:25:21.05\00:25:23.32 are look to the map with me and where you will go down and 00:25:23.32\00:25:26.79 check it out as well. But obviously a center of influence 00:25:26.79\00:25:29.42 was built there. So it's felt that this is a place that's 00:25:29.42\00:25:32.19 safe. But you can get to us on the edge so you can safely 00:25:32.19\00:25:35.70 arrive there. But the kids from the veliko come and be able to 00:25:35.70\00:25:38.60 go 00:25:38.60\00:25:39.83 >> there. So they go to school. The kids in the favela. They're 00:25:39.83\00:25:41.94 able to go to school. Yes, Brazil, this have public 00:25:41.94\00:25:45.07 schools everywhere. You know, it's not the safest or the 00:25:45.07\00:25:48.54 bass. So in many places, 00:25:48.54\00:25:50.88 but they do they they they have schools everywhere. So this is 00:25:50.88\00:25:55.28 an initial project I would say from. 00:25:55.28\00:25:57.19 >> Having been married to a Brazilian and knowing about the 00:25:57.19\00:26:01.22 velezand having been there from the time I arrived, child 00:26:01.22\00:26:04.43 impact. So we need to project in Brazil and so 00:26:04.43\00:26:07.66 adjacent on our team. I I share that with him and he's been 00:26:07.66\00:26:10.83 looking and looking in checking things out is like I found one. 00:26:10.83\00:26:14.17 This is an excellent one. And it's actually someone who 00:26:14.17\00:26:16.87 is on our team that works in sponsorship. She worked with 00:26:16.87\00:26:20.21 the young lady in Cambodia, who is Brazilian and who wanted to 00:26:20.21\00:26:24.28 open up in Brazil, this type of a ministry. And so that's where 00:26:24.28\00:26:27.75 the partnership came all price the law. So God put a lot of 00:26:27.75\00:26:30.95 pieces together for that project happen. So that Spurs 00:26:30.95\00:26:33.52 ill 00:26:33.52\00:26:35.12 I visited recently, the Philippines and I know we have 00:26:35.12\00:26:38.49 some videos that we're sharing on 3ABN about those 00:26:38.49\00:26:40.90 experiences, but 00:26:40.90\00:26:42.50 a real challenge there with child brights and 00:26:42.50\00:26:46.43 parents want girls so that they can actually get the dowry. 00:26:46.43\00:26:50.64 Oh, so that's where trafficking comes in because it's actually 00:26:50.64\00:26:54.01 to get the dowry for these girls 00:26:54.01\00:26:56.85 that they that they push that age younger and younger. 00:26:56.85\00:26:59.85 What changed are the 12 year-old so of year-old girls 00:26:59.85\00:27:02.98 getting married? So there's one girl that I met interesting a 00:27:02.98\00:27:09.22 connection because 00:27:09.22\00:27:10.93 she sent a video to me on Facebook through Messenger 00:27:10.93\00:27:14.20 and she said, please look at the video and it was actually 00:27:14.20\00:27:16.77 arriving on the helicopter because these are mountainous 00:27:16.77\00:27:19.27 villages. I would pass out if I tried to claim Yahoo. So they 00:27:19.27\00:27:23.77 would have to bring me out on the helicopter. But she said a 00:27:23.77\00:27:26.94 video of of welcoming me to the her to her school and her to 00:27:26.94\00:27:30.78 her village where she lives. And the interesting thing the 00:27:30.78\00:27:33.45 helicopter comes in and it just blows all that welcome signs. 00:27:33.45\00:27:36.75 Yeah, they're all looking proper in the just destroys it. 00:27:36.75\00:27:40.89 So I got to see it from her perspective, which was very 00:27:40.89\00:27:43.56 interesting. But she said, I hope that you come to sponsor 00:27:43.56\00:27:47.13 us. And in the message she sent me and I said, yes, we will 00:27:47.13\00:27:49.86 sponsor you. 00:27:49.86\00:27:51.17 And then I send a picture to Jasper on our team who lives in 00:27:51.17\00:27:54.07 the Philippines and who started these jungle schools. And so we 00:27:54.07\00:27:58.04 want to sponsor this girl what she's available, the 00:27:58.04\00:28:00.88 sponsorship program, our family wants to sponsor her this. 00:28:00.88\00:28:04.25 Tom, I got this photo and I had to look twice because this 00:28:04.25\00:28:08.05 girl's mayor was married at 12 years old. 00:28:08.05\00:28:11.52 And so she's already child bride emotions already. Mary 00:28:11.52\00:28:15.02 chain out is reaching out to new sponsor me. She says I want 00:28:15.02\00:28:18.43 to be a nurse. I said I message are back in said, I understand 00:28:18.43\00:28:22.80 that you're already married. She she said, yes, I'm so 00:28:22.80\00:28:25.83 younger 00:28:25.83\00:28:27.27 and I'm so sad because I want to go to school. I want to be a 00:28:27.27\00:28:30.71 nurse. 00:28:30.71\00:28:32.07 And so she's continued to friendship with Morrow night, 00:28:32.07\00:28:34.68 both through social media 00:28:34.68\00:28:36.88 and that will have a video call with her one day. And and just 00:28:36.88\00:28:39.85 keep that friendship going, because I think it gives her a 00:28:39.85\00:28:41.82 little bit of hope. We don't know how much we can do to help 00:28:41.82\00:28:44.72 her at this point. Just what I was going to ask what I want to 00:28:44.72\00:28:48.09 handle. Yeah, a mess that complicated and we don't want 00:28:48.09\00:28:51.93 to go in and mess up cultural things in a way that says 00:28:51.93\00:28:56.63 helping keep us from helping her younger siblings or other 00:28:56.63\00:28:59.40 kids. 00:28:59.40\00:29:00.60 But we have all these kids are sponsorship program now and 00:29:00.60\00:29:05.54 there are still some kids from the Philippines available to 00:29:05.54\00:29:07.48 sponsor on our website. But it started as an operation child 00:29:07.48\00:29:10.68 Rescue project. And that's the interesting thing because we 00:29:10.68\00:29:14.98 have such a broad education program globally. It's worked 00:29:14.98\00:29:20.12 very well to sometimes start with rescue and the movement 00:29:20.12\00:29:23.76 into sponsorship, which helps us then be able to rescue more. 00:29:23.76\00:29:28.73 >> So this is going hand in glove. I mean, the 2, it's the 00:29:28.73\00:29:32.57 ideal marriage education, which helps a lot of patients 00:29:32.57\00:29:35.34 sponsorship risk. You can just go hand in. Yeah, yeah. 00:29:35.34\00:29:38.34 >> And then of course, of a secret project that you know 00:29:38.34\00:29:40.91 about. But I can't she can share it on air. 00:29:40.91\00:29:44.11 This is our most dangerous project. The people who are 00:29:44.11\00:29:47.88 running it are among a very small number. I don't know if 00:29:47.88\00:29:52.49 it's 2 hands 00:29:52.49\00:29:54.29 or maybe a few more, but not much of 7th Avenue even are in 00:29:54.29\00:29:59.36 this country. So this is a very closed country, very close 00:29:59.36\00:30:04.30 country. This is a family 00:30:04.30\00:30:06.53 and it's very tricky to get money there. We found in the 00:30:06.53\00:30:11.87 rounds. We're now actually probably having to send money 00:30:11.87\00:30:15.58 with that wind around got closed down. And so now we're 00:30:15.58\00:30:18.35 exploring city money through Italy to somebody who's from 00:30:18.35\00:30:21.75 that country so they can send that money on to their country. 00:30:21.75\00:30:25.32 And because there are a citizen, it won't be picked up. 00:30:25.32\00:30:28.36 And so these are very sensitive issues. A cell phone is already 00:30:28.36\00:30:31.13 been confiscated and nothing was found to incriminate the 00:30:31.13\00:30:34.63 family at this point. But 00:30:34.63\00:30:36.63 these are girls. She objective there with that. Yes, this a 00:30:36.63\00:30:39.13 rescue centre. These are girls that are for sale by their 00:30:39.13\00:30:41.57 families and may not be their biological parents and maybe a 00:30:41.57\00:30:45.91 relative that even doesn't want them around. And he's putting 00:30:45.91\00:30:49.24 them out on the street, the bag. 00:30:49.24\00:30:51.08 And they're very, very volatile. The youngest girl 00:30:51.08\00:30:53.01 we've rescued there 6 years old 00:30:53.01\00:30:55.48 and they're sold into prostitution. They're sold 00:30:55.48\00:30:57.62 under the soil, becomes part of their parents to part of a 00:30:57.62\00:31:00.66 harem. So they may put them as a house servant until they're a 00:31:00.66\00:31:04.46 little bit older. 00:31:04.46\00:31:05.83 But yeah, they're being sold for pieces fan. Yeah, no, 00:31:05.83\00:31:09.93 it's it's just 00:31:09.93\00:31:11.77 this is a project I would love to see in person. It's been 00:31:11.77\00:31:14.87 well that did. But we cannot safely go into that country. 00:31:14.87\00:31:18.94 Yeah, we're we'll lose our lives. Go in there. And those 00:31:18.94\00:31:21.48 that are doing this project at risk of losing their lives. 00:31:21.48\00:31:24.68 >> So how did they even find out about the girls? How did 00:31:24.68\00:31:27.12 they find out about it? 00:31:27.12\00:31:28.48 >> Word of mouth, OK? No word of mouth. They they hear about 00:31:28.48\00:31:31.92 in the check it out and we received the story and say this 00:31:31.92\00:31:34.59 is the story. Is this this one fit the profile of 00:31:34.59\00:31:38.06 we had a mom actually baking us to take her child? She said 00:31:38.06\00:31:41.83 this is all and only chance. My my child has a few taker and 00:31:41.83\00:31:45.07 I'm willing to say goodbye forever. 00:31:45.07\00:31:47.54 Do what's best for my kids. Her husband was killed in this 00:31:47.54\00:31:52.31 country 00:31:52.31\00:31:55.11 murdered. Yeah. 00:31:55.11\00:31:56.95 That's really serious. Yeah. That's a tough one. If you come 00:31:56.95\00:32:01.25 by the child Impact Booth at an event that we go to, 00:32:01.25\00:32:04.45 we will share with you what country that is and can get 00:32:04.45\00:32:06.72 more details right now. We just can't put it in publication or 00:32:06.72\00:32:10.69 on air. 00:32:10.69\00:32:11.86 >> Is there a certain dollar amount that needs to be paid to 00:32:11.86\00:32:13.50 rescue a child or is it different? A little expensive 00:32:13.50\00:32:16.03 there? 00:32:16.03\00:32:17.30 >> Some of that some country. The average price of a slave. 00:32:17.30\00:32:19.10 Today's $90.90. $1. Yeah. That's average across the the 00:32:19.10\00:32:24.21 world. 00:32:24.21\00:32:26.17 I just can't even imagine the worst. 00:32:26.17\00:32:28.91 Yeah. The life. 90 $1. The children. This country are more 00:32:28.91\00:32:34.48 around $2000. Oh, wow. So it's a little pricier there. So is 00:32:34.48\00:32:38.19 this project. I know you can't disclose information, but is it 00:32:38.19\00:32:41.06 on the Web site like you can sponsor for a closed country or 00:32:41.06\00:32:44.73 its not even listed the ways we have it on the map as Secret 00:32:44.73\00:32:48.43 Project. Okay. On the mound, all of our projects fall under 00:32:48.43\00:32:51.93 operation Child Rescue. 00:32:51.93\00:32:53.34 >> So if you give to operation Child Rescue, you're giving to 00:32:53.34\00:32:56.67 this project and giving to any number of projects. Almost 17 00:32:56.67\00:33:01.38 projects that at addresses child impact dot org. Child 00:33:01.38\00:33:06.61 impact Dot org. You just go online and you can donate to 00:33:06.61\00:33:10.12 Operation Child Rescue or you can call and donate that way. 00:33:10.12\00:33:13.72 The number is 4 to 3, 9, 1, 0, 0, 6, 6, 7, That's 00:33:13.72\00:33:20.30 423-910-0667. Do we have time to talk about Columbia little 00:33:20.30\00:33:26.17 bit? Because last year and you're here, you talk a little 00:33:26.17\00:33:27.97 bit about the project. 00:33:27.97\00:33:29.00 >> So 2 of our team members, one that speak Spanish, 00:33:29.00\00:33:32.37 fortunately went to Colombia. There's parts of Columbia that 00:33:32.37\00:33:35.71 are extremely dangerous. In fact, right now, there's a 00:33:35.71\00:33:38.51 movie that's getting a lot of focus called Sound of Freedom. 00:33:38.51\00:33:43.05 And that is based out of a rescue that took place, taking 00:33:43.05\00:33:46.42 down a lot of individuals that were 00:33:46.42\00:33:49.79 involved in selling girls and they were able to rescue 150 00:33:49.79\00:33:54.56 girls and that initiative that's highlighted in this 00:33:54.56\00:33:57.50 movie. But that took place in Colombia. 00:33:57.50\00:34:00.80 And so we are there are ready. We have a project in the Amazon 00:34:00.80\00:34:05.27 jungles 00:34:05.27\00:34:06.54 and that is a place where 00:34:06.54\00:34:10.21 close to 90% of the girls end up abuse or involved in 00:34:10.21\00:34:15.08 prostitution some way. 00:34:15.08\00:34:17.89 Why do we call prostitution trafficking? 00:34:17.89\00:34:21.52 Any girl is, as Andrea mentioned in the video that's 00:34:21.52\00:34:25.03 under 18 years of age 00:34:25.03\00:34:27.36 is considered to be trafficked. Absolutely. And so these are 00:34:27.36\00:34:30.20 children. They actually 00:34:30.20\00:34:32.77 rescued 4 children. One of them was a boy, one or 2. I wasn't 00:34:32.77\00:34:38.54 on the strip, but they flew out with these kids. Yeah, that 00:34:38.54\00:34:42.74 work in the history, a difficult situation. And so 00:34:42.74\00:34:46.75 they're going to be able to continue their education and 00:34:46.75\00:34:49.18 begin to heal emotionally and a safe place. And so we want to 00:34:49.18\00:34:53.69 build a safe house in the jungles and then a dormitory 00:34:53.69\00:34:58.29 for the kids. I'm in a different location where they 00:34:58.29\00:35:02.10 can pursue their their education and come to know 00:35:02.10\00:35:06.07 Jesus annual emotionally. So all that's very important. 00:35:06.07\00:35:11.04 The projects, a little complex to explain on video. So we 00:35:11.04\00:35:13.84 couldn't make it really work in the 8 minute video. But it's in 00:35:13.84\00:35:17.58 our magazine highlighted if if people get our magazine and 00:35:17.58\00:35:21.65 that's our big project for this year, all so we are raising 00:35:21.65\00:35:25.12 funds like we did for Riverside Farm last year for the Girls 00:35:25.12\00:35:28.06 dormitory. This is our big project this year. So we're 00:35:28.06\00:35:30.29 needing a little more than a couple $100,000 00:35:30.29\00:35:33.33 to do all of what we want to do there. But it's something we 00:35:33.33\00:35:35.70 can do in stages. So this is something for maybe a large 00:35:35.70\00:35:39.20 donor to consider participate, which is very carefully every 00:35:39.20\00:35:42.57 year, 00:35:42.57\00:35:43.64 a project that involves some need infrastructure wise. 00:35:43.64\00:35:46.41 Yeah. And so this is our project for this year. 00:35:46.41\00:35:49.21 >> So can someone donate to Operation Child Rescue is going 00:35:49.21\00:35:52.81 to go to that or know they need to specifically? How did they 00:35:52.81\00:35:55.35 differentiate want this to go for the project in Colombia? 00:35:55.35\00:35:57.95 If it's a large donation, please contact us and let us 00:35:57.95\00:36:01.12 know specifically for Colombia. 00:36:01.12\00:36:03.56 >> We have a building fund that we are creating for that. 00:36:03.56\00:36:07.96 We may end up having to pull some funds from operations, 00:36:07.96\00:36:10.17 child rescue because we're committed. We want this to 00:36:10.17\00:36:12.40 happen in many. So it's not it's not doesn't preclude that 00:36:12.40\00:36:16.60 that might happen. But yeah, that's that's our goal. Very 00:36:16.60\00:36:20.84 interesting project because they just need the funds to get 00:36:20.84\00:36:23.31 us started. This is not one that has ongoing operational. 00:36:23.31\00:36:27.38 They have some businesses that they started in Colombia 00:36:27.38\00:36:30.45 confronted on a day-to-day basis. It's just they don't 00:36:30.45\00:36:33.25 have the funds to to put the infrastructure in place. 00:36:33.25\00:36:35.42 So that's really cool. That is to get this up and running and 00:36:35.42\00:36:38.09 it will be sauce south-south self-sustaining on its own. 00:36:38.09\00:36:41.10 A lot of that. No, that would be. And we work toward that 00:36:41.10\00:36:43.73 with all our projects. I mean, in India, this started a 00:36:43.73\00:36:46.63 bakery, the girl's that have been rescued or running a 00:36:46.63\00:36:49.97 bakery and a soap making business. And so, yeah, we 00:36:49.97\00:36:54.51 really try to give them skills as well as that. Help the 00:36:54.51\00:36:57.98 project's be self-sustaining. 00:36:57.98\00:36:59.48 >> Were you starting sewing machine sewing machine project 00:36:59.48\00:37:02.02 was tailoring or something like that. That was a project and 00:37:02.02\00:37:04.62 say we have we have a couple. Those in Zambia do. This is for 00:37:04.62\00:37:07.69 girls that 00:37:07.69\00:37:08.86 >> have been out of school so long that they can can cannot 00:37:08.86\00:37:12.03 pass the exam. 00:37:12.03\00:37:13.80 Part of the attraction of Riverside Farm is the high 00:37:13.80\00:37:17.03 level of education. They had 2000 teachers apply for 13 00:37:17.03\00:37:21.14 positions walk. So they have the best of the best and they 00:37:21.14\00:37:24.37 can see Andre can tell. Yeah, haha, when these teachers 00:37:24.37\00:37:28.34 saying for church, I mean, the kids are like, oh, 00:37:28.34\00:37:31.05 I mean, it just went on and on. They loved it. But so they have 00:37:31.05\00:37:34.45 been very high quality education, but they need to 00:37:34.45\00:37:36.18 keep the standard high in terms of getting into the school 00:37:36.18\00:37:38.95 rival. Some of these girls have been out of prostitution, 00:37:38.95\00:37:41.26 haven't studied for a while, and they may have lost some of 00:37:41.26\00:37:44.03 those academic skills. So we're bringing them in its starting 00:37:44.03\00:37:47.86 this month. Our first set of 10 girls may be coming into a 00:37:47.86\00:37:51.60 tailoring programming tailoring and tutoring program is what I 00:37:51.60\00:37:54.90 like to call it because they're getting 200 to pass the exam 00:37:54.90\00:37:58.27 room. And if they don't pass, they at least have tailoring 00:37:58.27\00:38:01.78 skills that they can go in her living a different way. So and 00:38:01.78\00:38:05.75 we're looking at maybe a school that's nearby. That doesn't 00:38:05.75\00:38:08.18 have that same standard for, you know, for those in the 00:38:08.18\00:38:10.72 academic year that can still be able to go to school. And 00:38:10.72\00:38:13.59 that's the hope that, yeah, that's power. And we have a 00:38:13.59\00:38:16.56 tailored program, other places to sew and of Isaac Slum in 00:38:16.56\00:38:20.96 India, where prostitution just broad daylight happening there 00:38:20.96\00:38:26.20 for the prostitutes. We offer this tailoring program. Wow. 00:38:26.20\00:38:30.44 >> To him, it's an incredible ministry to me, the Ministry of 00:38:30.44\00:38:33.04 child impact and specifically operation child rescues, 00:38:33.04\00:38:35.58 the hands and feet of Jesus, you know, reaching out 00:38:35.58\00:38:37.78 ministering to those who are in need and helping them. What 00:38:37.78\00:38:41.18 incredible ministry at 3ABN we stand with and support child 00:38:41.18\00:38:45.25 impact in every way that we can. And we know you do at home 00:38:45.25\00:38:47.72 as well. We've never tell you what to do with your funds 00:38:47.72\00:38:50.36 because only God knows that. But you just go before the Lord 00:38:50.36\00:38:52.63 and say, is this a project I should be involved in. And if 00:38:52.63\00:38:55.53 the Lord tells you, yes, then we encourage you to be involved 00:38:55.53\00:38:59.20 in that. We have a few more pictures, I think in some 00:38:59.20\00:39:01.84 duties. I don't know if you want to. 00:39:01.84\00:39:03.20 >> Yeah, let's go and show the the bus. Well, first of all, 00:39:03.20\00:39:07.31 there's a photo Martin. I walking with the kids to 00:39:07.31\00:39:09.34 school. Well, there's the bus or the Baha Al Impact on the 00:39:09.34\00:39:13.58 back. Their donors through child impact funded a bus. 00:39:13.58\00:39:16.58 Yeah, I think there's another couple photos here we can just 00:39:16.58\00:39:19.65 show there. We are walking to school. So prior to the bus, 00:39:19.65\00:39:23.19 there's a long road from the highway into Riverside Farm is 00:39:23.19\00:39:27.76 located and the school is only available to the kids that 00:39:27.76\00:39:31.27 could walk there. Yeah. And so this is the bus now that has 00:39:31.27\00:39:35.00 been purchased by child impact to be able to go over the pick 00:39:35.00\00:39:39.27 up the kids go out. And yeah. And so the school initially had 00:39:39.27\00:39:44.58 capacity for 360 a primary age students. 00:39:44.58\00:39:48.65 So elementary age, right? 00:39:48.65\00:39:50.49 And we've been able to add more buildings again through dormant 00:39:50.49\00:39:55.26 donor supporting that. And now the capacities up to 720 kids, 00:39:55.26\00:39:59.73 but they're adding slowly over time. But there's so much 00:39:59.73\00:40:03.13 poverty in the surrounding communities 00:40:03.13\00:40:05.83 that there would be no way these kids can walk to school, 00:40:05.83\00:40:08.74 right? It would be too dangerous too far, but the bus 00:40:08.74\00:40:11.77 can go out and bring them in. And so but those kids, a lot of 00:40:11.77\00:40:15.21 them already walked 2 hours into the you get the bus stop. 00:40:15.21\00:40:19.68 Yeah, 00:40:19.68\00:40:20.68 through that through the countryside yet not alone. 00:40:20.68\00:40:23.85 >> Right. It's just that they can walk to the rest of the 00:40:23.85\00:40:27.16 walk in the 00:40:27.16\00:40:29.32 so there still was shown a lot so much that he had that you're 00:40:29.32\00:40:31.89 picking up on the bus have already walked to the but a lot 00:40:31.89\00:40:34.83 of them that, yes. 00:40:34.83\00:40:36.63 >> Why? Yes. So they want an education. And these kids are 00:40:36.63\00:40:39.57 available at our sponsorship program 00:40:39.57\00:40:41.84 on our website, Thereunder, Zambia. And so there's a lot of 00:40:41.84\00:40:46.41 kids on there from the riverside school as well as 00:40:46.41\00:40:49.91 from anchor. And I want to show a couple pictures. Yeah, 00:40:49.91\00:40:52.18 very quickly. This is another school we support and Zambia. 00:40:52.18\00:40:55.05 I think here we have pulling a tooth for the first. 00:40:55.05\00:41:00.52 >> I knew that too. Yeah, him a thing. 00:41:00.52\00:41:05.29 >> And Anderson, his hands were shaking. But yeah, the shake to 00:41:05.29\00:41:07.93 pull the to the Yahoo. Why was I was really nervous. Yeah. 00:41:07.93\00:41:13.13 >> This is a little practice for us. Futures surge, right? 00:41:13.13\00:41:15.97 Yeah. Haha. 00:41:15.97\00:41:17.07 >> And the boy even like to still afterwards. So, yeah, 00:41:17.07\00:41:20.08 this is a boy that came in to be sponsored. We were there 00:41:20.08\00:41:24.78 when they had kind of open enrollment trusting that child 00:41:24.78\00:41:29.75 impact is going to find sponsors for these kids. 00:41:29.75\00:41:31.89 So we have, again, these kids up on our so many of these are 00:41:31.89\00:41:35.09 orphans. And you see the parent has come such a long distance 00:41:35.09\00:41:38.83 walking and and actually many times it's not the parents only 00:41:38.83\00:41:42.86 parent has passed away or both parents have passed away. 00:41:42.86\00:41:45.20 And it's a relative 00:41:45.20\00:41:46.90 who is graciously taken this child them but does not have 00:41:46.90\00:41:49.67 the resources to feed them or to pay for the school. So they 00:41:49.67\00:41:54.01 show up at the school anchor that we support and say, 00:41:54.01\00:41:57.38 please, can you put because kids there when we think 00:41:57.38\00:41:59.95 dormitory here, we think high school, right? When you think 00:41:59.95\00:42:02.75 dormitory in the countries were working in its from any age, 00:42:02.75\00:42:06.32 kids don't have parents they wanted or that they're not an 00:42:06.32\00:42:08.66 orphan is but they're in a door and they may be able to go back 00:42:08.66\00:42:11.73 and visit relatives during the break. But the relative can't 00:42:11.73\00:42:14.66 afford to take care of the room. 00:42:14.66\00:42:16.90 >> Meanwhile, has tremendous need. We have a video. I know 00:42:16.90\00:42:20.14 we're running out of time. The second R let's go to the 00:42:20.14\00:42:22.27 video to set it up for us. First, what are we going to see 00:42:22.27\00:42:24.27 that the state? So this video is of thee. 00:42:24.27\00:42:27.18 >> Riverside Farm primary school and it really focuses on 00:42:27.18\00:42:30.11 sponsorship. So we just that's the core of what an impact 00:42:30.11\00:42:33.62 involved with. And if we can rescue these kids when they're 00:42:33.62\00:42:36.89 young in particular, Nomar has a huge passion. If we can train 00:42:36.89\00:42:40.96 young men, how did protect young lady? And I'm so if we 00:42:40.96\00:42:45.93 can start young, then they can avoid all of this trauma. 00:42:45.93\00:42:49.43 Now we know God, you know, nothing is wasted with gotten 00:42:49.43\00:42:52.40 through this pain. God will use these girls and powerful ways. 00:42:52.40\00:42:56.00 But how much better if we can protect them from the prevent 00:42:56.00\00:42:59.61 and what's yeah. So that's that's their sponsorship. 00:42:59.61\00:43:03.14 And these kids are from very poor communities. But we wanted 00:43:03.14\00:43:06.25 to see some of the younger kids and what they're up to. 00:43:06.25\00:43:09.22 Absolutely. Thank you. Let's go to that right now. 00:43:09.22\00:43:11.55 [MUSIC] 00:43:11.55\00:43:14.99 >> Riverside Farm is an ideal location is right on the cut 00:43:14.99\00:43:18.19 for the river. There's a man is growing here. It is an oasis. 00:43:18.19\00:43:23.57 But all around surrounding Riverside Farm. 00:43:23.57\00:43:26.94 >> Is abject poverty. You go to these villages and you see 00:43:26.94\00:43:30.94 people gather around a water pump to to get water to be able 00:43:30.94\00:43:34.34 to carry for miles sometimes so they can simply have water to 00:43:34.34\00:43:38.15 drink. You recognize that there's food scarcity, just 00:43:38.15\00:43:41.42 extreme poverty surrounding all around Riverside. But there's a 00:43:41.42\00:43:45.65 commitment here to make a difference to transform these 00:43:45.65\00:43:49.26 communities. And much of that is done through education. 00:43:49.26\00:43:53.83 And that's why the schools being located here on this 00:43:53.83\00:43:56.26 campus in this oasis are so important to the surrounding 00:43:56.26\00:44:00.27 community. 00:44:00.27\00:44:01.80 [MUSIC] 00:44:01.80\00:44:07.08 The challenge is gaining access to the amazing education that 00:44:07.08\00:44:11.38 is available, riverside, 00:44:11.38\00:44:13.45 because only the students there within walking distance could 00:44:13.45\00:44:17.29 actually attend here. 00:44:17.29\00:44:18.85 And so as we begin to assess this challenge, we recognize 00:44:18.85\00:44:22.82 the importance of being able to provide transportation for 00:44:22.82\00:44:27.20 children to be able to attend school here. 00:44:27.20\00:44:30.10 >> So we partner with child impact on the school bus. 00:44:30.10\00:44:33.60 It's it's 38 people. And it's really great because we have a 00:44:33.60\00:44:37.47 community that's that's about 30 minutes away where children 00:44:37.47\00:44:40.94 are still walking more than 2 hours to come to get on the bus 00:44:40.94\00:44:44.18 and get here. If they were to do that without a buses would 00:44:44.18\00:44:47.18 be out of reach for them completely. It's a community 00:44:47.18\00:44:49.22 that's very underserved for education. Many of the kids 00:44:49.22\00:44:52.45 having really no education opportunity at all. 00:44:52.45\00:44:55.16 [MUSIC] 00:44:55.16\00:44:57.99 >> As I visited the surrounding villages around Riverside Farm 00:44:57.99\00:45:02.56 is very clear that walking from those locations is not a 00:45:02.56\00:45:06.40 possibility. And yet it's only 15 minute bus, right? 00:45:06.40\00:45:10.07 >> Trying to walk the distance, the heat, the busy roads, 00:45:10.07\00:45:14.21 the vulnerabilities that children have all of these 00:45:14.21\00:45:16.58 things. I make it impossible for them to have that as an 00:45:16.58\00:45:20.52 option. But when we can pick them up at a bus stop and they 00:45:20.52\00:45:24.65 can, I rode a bus going to school. And and so when when we 00:45:24.65\00:45:27.96 have that option available for them, all of a sudden the 00:45:27.96\00:45:30.89 possibilities open up in terms of children that have access to 00:45:30.89\00:45:35.56 the school. 00:45:35.56\00:45:37.13 >> Yes, almost the kids that we deal with it coming from the 00:45:37.13\00:45:39.70 community with the bus would either be ending their life 00:45:39.70\00:45:44.27 out, cutting charcoal in the Bush, which is really an 00:45:44.27\00:45:47.58 amazing thing. Is he actually doing more work than the 00:45:47.58\00:45:50.01 calories they can afford to buy, just a way to extend life, 00:45:50.01\00:45:54.18 to, to live a little longer. But what really not a way of 6 00:45:54.18\00:45:57.35 games. Also, they need to be doing that 00:45:57.35\00:45:59.45 or they would be trying to find other ways to to raise money, 00:45:59.45\00:46:04.36 a mother's trafficking or some other way on to his usually no 00:46:04.36\00:46:07.96 opportunity. The only other thing that they are able to do 00:46:07.96\00:46:10.10 is sell stolen Cole from the community. And so it's 00:46:10.10\00:46:14.80 interesting. 00:46:14.80\00:46:15.90 I offer to nutty to help. 00:46:15.90\00:46:17.41 I really see sponsorship as a 00:46:17.41\00:46:20.74 entry level. 00:46:20.74\00:46:22.18 >> Commitment to kind of a minimum threshold. 00:46:22.18\00:46:26.31 But I think every person should consider doing it 00:46:26.31\00:46:31.05 at a $1.6 a day for a child to be able to go to school, 00:46:31.05\00:46:35.09 to be able to have a meal. 00:46:35.09\00:46:37.89 This is a minor commitment for most American families. Are 00:46:37.89\00:46:42.33 Canadian families or any first world family? 00:46:42.33\00:46:45.90 That's a minimum kind of commitment that I think any 00:46:45.90\00:46:48.54 individual can should consider. And there are some individuals 00:46:48.54\00:46:51.31 who say I can sponsor more than one child 00:46:51.31\00:46:53.81 2 or 5 or 10 or even 30. 00:46:53.81\00:46:57.48 And if that's a possibility. 00:46:57.48\00:47:00.35 >> From my experience of seen this firsthand, the difference 00:47:00.35\00:47:03.65 it makes in the life of a child, I would encourage 00:47:03.65\00:47:05.92 everybody who's watching this video 00:47:05.92\00:47:08.39 to consider such a commitment as a minimum way to be 00:47:08.39\00:47:10.93 involved. 00:47:10.93\00:47:12.23 We recognize that with so many children needing access to 00:47:12.23\00:47:16.16 education, that there was an opportunity here to expand the 00:47:16.16\00:47:19.97 primary school 00:47:19.97\00:47:21.74 by adding 5 buildings to the primary school. That's grades 00:47:21.74\00:47:25.57 one through 6. We were able to double the Cup Cassidy for the 00:47:25.57\00:47:29.68 number of students who can attend from 360 students to 720 00:47:29.68\00:47:34.98 students. 00:47:34.98\00:47:35.98 >> Every child is able to attend here represents a 00:47:35.98\00:47:39.65 potential transformation for the community that they come 00:47:39.65\00:47:42.49 from because now they were going to be able to not only go 00:47:42.49\00:47:45.63 to primary school here, but also to go to it secondary 00:47:45.63\00:47:48.93 school. 00:47:48.93\00:47:50.37 >> To learn skills that are tied here on Riverside campus 00:47:50.37\00:47:53.10 that will be able to help transform their families and 00:47:53.10\00:47:57.04 their villages. 00:47:57.04\00:47:58.04 [MUSIC] 00:47:58.04\00:48:03.04 [MUSIC] 00:48:03.04\00:48:08.05 [MUSIC] 00:48:08.05\00:48:12.39 >> What an incredible ministry. I love that as I referenced 00:48:12.39\00:48:15.76 before, Greg and I have the privilege an opportunity to 00:48:15.76\00:48:18.06 sponsor a couple kids and it's life changing to know. And 00:48:18.06\00:48:21.26 that's a $1.6. a day. Yeah. 00:48:21.26\00:48:23.70 >> That spurred a student. Yes. The boarding students are 00:48:23.70\00:48:25.97 much more there. 45 $1 a month here? That is incredible. 00:48:25.97\00:48:31.17 Yeah. This video is a fight. One of our 5 minute videos that 00:48:31.17\00:48:34.84 we make available for local churches to show once a month. 00:48:34.84\00:48:37.95 And so that's an example of that video. 00:48:37.95\00:48:40.92 >> Yeah, I love that. So talk to us about if someone wants to 00:48:40.92\00:48:43.52 become involved in sponsorship is sponsoring children, 00:48:43.52\00:48:46.32 doctors. How does that work? Yeah. 00:48:46.32\00:48:48.39 >> So the day students are $32 a month and is a monthly 00:48:48.39\00:48:52.49 commitment. Some people get a little confused right now. 00:48:52.49\00:48:54.73 We're trying to fix something. Our Web site because the 00:48:54.73\00:48:56.40 default default is for a one-time payment and it is a 00:48:56.40\00:49:00.77 monthly commitment. And and then $45. A month for boarding 00:49:00.77\00:49:05.04 student 00:49:05.04\00:49:07.21 about a year and a half ago, we added a meal program to our 00:49:07.21\00:49:11.41 sponsorship where the day students would get a lunch. 00:49:11.41\00:49:15.25 They would come so good is that included in the 30 to 45. 00:49:15.25\00:49:19.35 It is the 45. They get every bit of it. But we discovered a 00:49:19.35\00:49:24.13 particular I've such a heart for Bangladesh. After having 00:49:24.13\00:49:26.83 been there. I went out to one of the bill. We have 30 village 00:49:26.83\00:49:29.63 schools there that we support. And then we have larger schools 00:49:29.63\00:49:32.70 as well. But 30 that are just located in the center of small 00:49:32.70\00:49:35.47 villages. 00:49:35.47\00:49:36.77 And I found out these kids, they go to school without 00:49:36.77\00:49:39.51 having had breakfast. They were not getting lunch at school and 00:49:39.51\00:49:43.04 they probably would get dinner every other day. 00:49:43.04\00:49:45.85 And so now they're getting lunch every day. And so that's 00:49:45.85\00:49:49.12 your sponsorship. So that is super exciting that that can 00:49:49.12\00:49:52.95 happen. So this is why appeal if individuals have an ability 00:49:52.95\00:49:56.79 to sponsor more than one child, yes, that they really consider 00:49:56.79\00:49:59.89 doing that. We had somebody sponsor 25 children who 00:49:59.89\00:50:03.23 had a change in employment. I think they lost the job or 00:50:03.23\00:50:06.40 were laid off, unfortunately. And that meant all 25 those 00:50:06.40\00:50:09.87 kids no longer had a sponsor. We know those things happen and 00:50:09.87\00:50:14.81 we appreciate any support anyone can give while they can 00:50:14.81\00:50:17.81 give it. Absolutely. That person made a huge difference 00:50:17.81\00:50:20.65 while they were sponsoring. 00:50:20.65\00:50:22.18 But now those 25 kids are available to the gap to cap the 00:50:22.18\00:50:26.29 A 00:50:26.29\00:50:27.76 and and we do have individuals sponsors many as 30 kids like I 00:50:27.76\00:50:31.26 said. So I think that's to me is very tangible way. And it's 00:50:31.26\00:50:36.93 kind of preventative this other side of this rescue component, 00:50:36.93\00:50:40.80 right? Because these kids you when you start than that young 00:50:40.80\00:50:44.24 and they can learn, you know, those things and the boys can 00:50:44.24\00:50:48.88 learn how to protect girls to treat them. Well, you know, 00:50:48.88\00:50:52.05 these things can make such a difference. 00:50:52.05\00:50:53.65 >> Absolute coming. And that's right. 20 children, new 00:50:53.65\00:50:56.69 sponsor. 00:50:56.69\00:50:57.49 >> Right now, it's about 3500. Wow. So. 00:50:57.49\00:51:00.96 >> Every year. 3500 and how many? I obviously the world is 00:51:00.96\00:51:04.83 the London. But as far as would you like to see safer next 00:51:04.83\00:51:09.06 year, you'd like? 00:51:09.06\00:51:10.20 >> Our goal. Our goal has been to have 100 kids every month 00:51:10.20\00:51:14.04 sponsored 00:51:14.04\00:51:15.50 through child impact. We have been doing that since August of 00:51:15.50\00:51:19.14 last year. The last one month it was 194. Yeah. So relied 00:51:19.14\00:51:24.78 upon for ship news. New sponsorship deals are brand-new 00:51:24.78\00:51:27.35 sponsorships. 00:51:27.35\00:51:29.78 November was the only month we didn't meet the 100 goal. 00:51:29.78\00:51:33.92 We were so close in June we were sitting and 99. Yeah. 00:51:33.92\00:51:39.06 I talked with our board chair every single week and she said, 00:51:39.06\00:51:42.40 look, if you don't buy tomorrow, if you don't get the 00:51:42.40\00:51:45.00 100 sponsor, all do it. And then a couple hours later, 00:51:45.00\00:51:48.27 she's I just did it. Haha. She's all in. She sponsors 10 00:51:48.27\00:51:52.71 kids already. So no 12 for 12 years. She was 11 and she 00:51:52.71\00:51:58.11 national that. Well, yeah. Haha. But yeah, that helped us 00:51:58.11\00:52:01.98 for June. Otherwise we would have lost our record. There are 00:52:01.98\00:52:04.59 100 a month, but we'd like to be higher than that. But it is 00:52:04.59\00:52:08.89 a time intensive ministry sponsorship because we want to 00:52:08.89\00:52:12.59 make sure that good communication to the sponsor 00:52:12.59\00:52:14.83 takes place and they can hear from the child and there's the 00:52:14.83\00:52:18.40 profiles and updated pictures and and notes that the kids 00:52:18.40\00:52:22.60 right. And we want to make it very personalized. Yes, and I 00:52:22.60\00:52:26.41 but it does make such a big difference for these kids. 00:52:26.41\00:52:28.78 I'm. 00:52:28.78\00:52:29.88 >> Absolutely I I know what time is almost gone. We have 00:52:29.88\00:52:32.18 just a few photos. Yes, let's let's go to those here, OK 00:52:32.18\00:52:35.12 here. 00:52:35.12\00:52:36.05 >> All right. This first photo is 00:52:36.05\00:52:38.52 it's not a credible home. And, yeah, I mean, it's like a 00:52:38.52\00:52:41.62 bill that would for me in when I was at the anchor. So the 00:52:41.62\00:52:45.86 anchor schools are the project and Sandia. When I was there 00:52:45.86\00:52:49.16 the first time to visit, 00:52:49.16\00:52:51.13 they said they really want missionaries to come. And so 00:52:51.13\00:52:54.30 they made a request that we would help support building a 00:52:54.30\00:52:56.44 missionary house. So that's the missionary how they got a 00:52:56.44\00:52:59.21 little carried away. 00:52:59.21\00:53:00.11 >> Haha. 00:53:00.11\00:53:03.14 >> You know, this is a beautiful location. Yeah, 00:53:03.14\00:53:06.41 we've got to stay there. And it's not very nice. There's 00:53:06.41\00:53:09.78 a kitchen. There's a living area. There's 3 bedrooms. 00:53:09.78\00:53:12.75 And I just talked to a young man, I believe, is 19 yesterday 00:53:12.75\00:53:16.86 on the phone 00:53:16.86\00:53:18.06 who is planning to go with one of his friends and served there 00:53:18.06\00:53:20.96 for several months. But this is available. I just want to put 00:53:20.96\00:53:24.23 this out to the listeners. This is available short or long 00:53:24.23\00:53:27.54 term to go and serve. There's that it could be construction 00:53:27.54\00:53:31.97 could be agriculture. It could be teaching and needs to be a 00:53:31.97\00:53:35.78 skill that will be helpful there for the for the project. 00:53:35.78\00:53:39.01 We can't fund. I'm sending people over, but 00:53:39.01\00:53:44.25 >> the housing has been provided for the blast scene. 00:53:44.25\00:53:48.02 So if people want to become involved in go actually to some 00:53:48.02\00:53:50.83 of these projects, they contact Holland Pass in an e-mail 00:53:50.83\00:53:53.66 saying, you know, if your child impact, yeah. So the just go to 00:53:53.66\00:53:56.93 the child impact website or is there a specific home health 00:53:56.93\00:53:59.57 impact? And there we go help at child impact Dot Org. Does 00:53:59.57\00:54:03.54 e-mail help the child impact? Donald, if you want to go to 00:54:03.54\00:54:06.01 one of these projects, want to help out. 00:54:06.01\00:54:08.21 >> So we have 2 more pictures next. One here is the the group 00:54:08.21\00:54:11.65 of the 5th, 36 Riverside girls. I think most of them are in 00:54:11.65\00:54:15.22 this photo. Yeah. And I was such a blessing to meet them in 00:54:15.22\00:54:18.72 person. But the next photo is a very special. And to me, 00:54:18.72\00:54:24.49 my wife's haha CC Sarah and the picture in the White. Sure. 00:54:24.49\00:54:29.16 Yeah, her. I don't think Sharon made into this picture, but 00:54:29.16\00:54:33.44 there's a girl wearing the orange, OK after I preached at 00:54:33.44\00:54:38.27 church on Sabbath. This girl came up to me with I think 3 or 00:54:38.27\00:54:43.11 4 other girls the other once in this photo. 00:54:43.11\00:54:46.11 And she was a little nervous. But it was clear she was the 00:54:46.11\00:54:48.95 spokesperson for the group, the and finally she worked up the 00:54:48.95\00:54:52.32 courage and she said 00:54:52.32\00:54:57.19 we want to think child impact for changing our lives. 00:54:57.19\00:55:00.86 I mean, all of the videos, all of the events we attend, 00:55:04.40\00:55:09.90 all of the stuff we do on the Web site to try to capture 00:55:09.90\00:55:13.31 attention and say, please help these kids need help. 00:55:13.31\00:55:17.38 I mean, that just came together all at one moment. And I'm 00:55:17.38\00:55:19.85 like, wow, and this is so worth it. And this is making such a 00:55:19.85\00:55:24.62 difference. 00:55:24.62\00:55:25.82 Well, shortly after those girls said that will she burst into 00:55:25.82\00:55:28.79 tears when she said inches, our lives have been tough. Some are 00:55:28.79\00:55:32.16 Markham Shaw come get these girls as you just saw, how do 00:55:32.16\00:55:36.83 those girls? But after that, I had a couple of students 00:55:36.83\00:55:41.37 approach me. Very curious comment. They said how can we 00:55:41.37\00:55:44.64 become donors, students and I'm like these are not sponsored 00:55:44.64\00:55:51.18 students. These are students whose parents can afford it 00:55:51.18\00:55:53.62 came to school and they want to find out on behalf of their 00:55:53.62\00:55:57.12 family, how they can help support their colleagues in 00:55:57.12\00:55:59.65 school. And one girl said to me, I want to give blood. 00:55:59.65\00:56:04.26 I have lots of blood home, my blood. They're paid to donate 00:56:04.26\00:56:11.20 so so that she can help others. 00:56:11.20\00:56:13.74 What ideas? Yeah. Found a way it helped him to give their own 00:56:13.74\00:56:17.64 blood to help. So this just touched my heart and said, 00:56:17.64\00:56:20.11 yeah, yeah. 00:56:20.11\00:56:21.64 >> I can't believe it. I'm gonna wish we had more time to 00:56:21.64\00:56:23.81 talk with us. Your stories to hear. Well, God is doing in and 00:56:23.81\00:56:27.25 through child Impact. Mara after Tom and Andrea, thank you 00:56:27.25\00:56:31.29 for coming.
