00:17 >> I was loving every moment in the lives of being transformed. They made our job
00:22 yes, they did. It was a joy to hear what what naps is doing around the world. And we 4 new
00:27 guests for the second hour. >> yes, we do. Some faces we've seen before that we're
00:33 going to reintroduce. And for those of you that have not been following naps, it is the
00:37 National Association for the Prevention of Starvation. And we'll find out more about that
00:42 in the second hour. Yeah, I'm just blessed. You know, many years ago we had a lady in
00:49 that church Kathy James, she's a gold in California where we live. You pass to the church
00:54 and choose to go to the. >> Well, neighborhood try and bring the children to church
00:59 and she would feed them and she to say, God don't make junk try none of you and junk
01:04 and juice always put that in their heads. God doesn't make junk. You are not junk. And we
01:10 would always be excited when the van pulled and collect a 50 to They just run of the
01:16 church and they the same the same set of the school. Wow. What beautiful love. want to
01:21 say hello to somebody that so glad to see again. Doctor Paul. Yeah here. Yeah. I'm
01:26 happy to be For those who may not know who? >> Yeah. I want to have give
01:32 me the overview of faab Yeah. How they get started. Yes. So one of the professor at
01:41 Oakwood But before I was a professor, I was a student. >> Yes, a friend of mine out
01:48 on him. then we dropped out of school and when happen, people in the community and in so
01:54 doing on my way back to school. And one down as teaching graduated got my Ph D
02:01 was teaching. young girl came into my office. And said asking about what I used to do
02:06 when I was and as a student. So excited bragging about things we used to do. Then she
02:12 said to me, why don't we do it now? She wants to help people just like we were. So I
02:22 started a little something with them. Instead of going out and doing things. And we
02:26 have a program in Scottsboro, Alabama, feeding people Bibles that he not going to And then
02:34 one day young lady walk into my office to say this And I turned around say, with the
02:42 matter and she was crying. I said, what's the matter that the ball. My father is a
02:48 pastor. I've been I've been as all my life, but the Sabbath. Was the first time I realized
02:56 that God is real. Wow. So what do you mean? Said, Doctor, Paul, when I saw you, I
03:04 profess and knocking doors telling about Jesus it that. >> has to be real high. Now.
03:09 And so that's when the transformation came by that I get this has to be a serious
03:13 matter. >> And so that's when maps really started that dew in the
03:18 morning tension, Ali, about how many is bad was about 30 years ago. Wow. Yeah. Yeah.
03:29 Hasn't stopped Issue. Yes. >> I'm very happy to be here Oh, all of Paul Morrow, and I
03:41 am the medical director maps. I graduated from Loma Linda University and then did my
03:45 residency in internal medicine. >> And just recently God
03:51 blessed me to be board certified in my medicine name. is so important where we work
03:58 because prevention is key, especially for people who don't have insurance access to
04:03 medication so, yes, I'm so What God's going to do with that. And I where he's taking
04:10 naps in the medical dental, various. >> good to have you here. And
04:16 that sometimes a company good to see you both again. Thank to Haha Synergy. Dollar Prize.
04:25 Yeah, I'm happy to be here. >> Be this my name is Darla Price. As you said, I'm
04:32 originally from Atlanta, Georgia, OK, I joined this group when I was a freshman in
04:38 college and I first saw them when I was still in high school. And when I saw them, I
04:44 was so amazing has said they were young people. >> That were the same as me.
04:53 Going all over the world. And I remember that is what made me decide what college I was
04:56 going to go to. And it may be decide like when I get there, I'm going to join this group.
05:01 It was a deciding factor in not only have I seen millions of lives change. I've seen the
05:08 ripple effect. You know that butterfly effect. People talk about I've seen it, but I
05:12 think that God is real and it's changed me every single mission. Every single time we
05:17 go out like this girls are talking about in the first hour. Every single time we go
05:22 out, God isn't just changing the lives of those that we touch right? But he's changing
05:28 our lives. wow. Beautiful. >> And your specific involvement. And that says I I
05:38 am willing. >> You've got introduces last lady. All she was we
05:45 interviewed her >> as a year ago or so yet. Jade Burrell, yes, welcome to
05:51 day. And I'm glad to be here. What's your involvement with maps and how old are you I'm
05:57 13 years old. I am from Alabama. >> And my involvement with
06:02 maps. I'm also a student at their school and also at the Angels Academy. Yeah. And also
06:09 in the first started talking about reading Club. I'm also the cook, the mills for the
06:15 little kids. if you're listening, yes, beautiful. It's a blessing to see those
06:19 kids growing up to how they are Wow, that's amazing. You know you a part of.
06:28 >> Do. Did you say you a part of what the recipient you were a child? When they the program
06:34 help >> I first met naps when I was 5 years old at the Boys and
06:40 Girls Club in Alabama. They also did a reading day. Also did a program at the at The
06:46 Boys and Girls Club in the skit that they did was no czar. And the first time I saw
06:49 this guy, it was like, wow. These people didn't believe no, but at when it's time for
06:58 the Ark to close their like know what? Let me in I want to be in. You waited too long
07:03 like God is calling you now. But if you don't answer his call now, then the cars going
07:08 past the somebody else you're going to regret the car that you didn't get. So I'm glad
07:13 that God called my mom to let me go school. >> Well, so 13 years? All cook
07:23 H**** children Cook at 13. look at things such a in a will face call that song.
07:28 Santa's please don't let this harvest path. That's right. That's right. line to be out
07:34 of that. The Noah's Ark Story, man that's got and what we can. And you said that when
07:37 you saw on you knew what school you went to go school. Is that?
07:43 >> Well, I ended up. I'm an alum Oakwood University. That's right. Yes, yes, we are
07:50 too. calm. you know, well, it was good college when I was there to I'm just trying Yeah.
07:58 Well, Doctor, Paul, back to you. Tell us about the demographics of
08:01 >> the Black belt. >> OK? So it's a region of the United States. This one is
08:09 black. And so a lot of most of the haha. But I think that in the center of the people in
08:19 the blacked a black from So this region stretches all the way from South Carolina all
08:25 the way to Texas and 100 mile wide. And so with a cotton was going back in the day. So when
08:31 you superimpose things like poverty. >> I've done cancer
08:38 illiteracy. >> Yeah. All those 2 things about humans, displays like
08:43 that. Taken with the COVID. We had situation with the COVID. We're going door to door
08:50 trying to save people from the COVID. We haven't lost anyone. But in this region what God
08:55 had told Ellen Yes, that. The church should go there right at the slavery and do the
09:01 things we're doing now. Wow. And you know the story Oakwood is supposed to do it. We did a
09:08 little bit in that what that ball was dropped. And now she said if it didn't do it, then
09:13 it will be hard. And now facing that because the people deep end, you know, and speak
09:20 to so God has blessed us. I want to put that picture back up again. That was as you can.
09:26 And that is medical the medical and happened to see that line that runs through
09:29 Alabama. That's focus. It all the way from east to west along Highway 80, which is
09:37 considered the belt of the black Belt. Things like Montgomery, Alabama, Selma all
09:44 along that line. Yes, when we got there about 10 years ago, there was nothing in terms of
09:48 the administrate, the 30 counties I've in his Wow, don't know too. And so the
09:55 doctors and the medical situation is rather point. You want to talk about how God has
09:59 blessed. >> Yes, so you a look at that map. You'll see there are one
10:06 through 5. I believe yes, yes. And if you look the first name, we're starting clear
10:10 over, you know, >> Yes, okay. have to to the east is number 5 and we have
10:15 that killing. We're she's a graduate of oak and adopt the killing wind and the sea that
10:21 by now we've just got about 2 years ago. Next. is number 4. Is the mood for that? Is is
10:30 that going number 2 is the Daniels you can do. That's doctor Chris Daniels. He's
10:36 family practice and then surely, Daniel, she's a dentist.
10:39 >> Both graduates of overweight and and about on the same highway. Then we have
10:45 time Tiffany in Selma. She's also Adventist and is the director of the family
10:50 Practice residency program there at the hospital in Selma. And then in
10:56 Greensborough and Demopolis Alabama, which was the headquarters for the
11:02 >> We have doctor Quincy Gibson and he's a surgeon and he was recently when when was
11:06 he there to graduate London. >> All right. And then all the way to the east to the West,
11:15 is. All right. Doctor doctors all along that line that blacked out on knowing to us.
11:22 An amazing thing is they're all Adventists. But these are in areas where there are
11:25 really no Adventists. >> that is a miracle counties it. And so then it becomes
11:33 let's talk about the medical missions, not because if just described.
11:38 >> That belt is now a of missions. spiritual definitely.
11:45 >> So have the wonderful opportunity with the medical missions to serve people.
11:49 Unfortunately in the black belt, a lot of the people there, they don't trust
11:55 doctors. They don't want to go to hospitals. They think that you go to hospitals to die.
12:00 But the reason that happens is because they wait till the last minute and then it's too
12:05 late. And so there's that myth that you die. And then, you know, there's the history of
12:12 them being experiment, an on unnecessary surgery, things of that sort and so does take a
12:18 little while to develop a relationship with them. But once we do once we have to
12:21 love, they are wide open. And the amazing thing is they love to learn about natural
12:28 remedies and prevention. We had this when testimony where we about 40 people that are
12:33 home. Wow, once a month we would have them come to our home and we health talk and
12:37 then we do like a cooking class and then going to a Bible study and we would just
12:42 teach them different things. And so one lady, she raised a hand. She said for years and
12:46 years when I go to I wake up because I have in my legs and >> I've been on muscle
12:52 relaxers. I've sleeping pills and that nothing. 6. We still how much water do you drink? I
12:58 like Okay. But how much to my right. maybe half a bottle and a whole. And so the sun also
13:04 explained to her the importance of water and how much she should drink. So the
13:08 next month when she came back, she said, oh, I've got a goes for the first time I was able
13:15 to stay throughout the night because of that. Why? I just want to praise so simple.
13:21 Things like water. They appreciate. And so, you know, we go to the homes. I think we
13:25 have a picture. All of elderly people don't always get to get out. So we'll go to their
13:31 homes. >> And will minister to them. we also have the privilege of
13:36 training people. We love to train people. So if anybody's out there and your pre med are
13:42 nursing students, these are nursing students from Oakwood University. please, you're
13:46 more than welcome. We'll have you work with us in the black vote. Do home visits, teach
13:51 you whatever you need to know. But also most importantly, how you can we've the gospel of
13:58 love into your work as a medical professional fallen Tuesday. You have we have
14:04 maybe 20 feet. I think we have 20 that are like fall. that more? And I exaggerate less
14:14 than Interesting question, too, because it's like, well, we have our international
14:19 branches right? >> We know. And they're working. It's many labors. And
14:22 whenever a call is made, we'll have people put it back on their light at the right
14:28 there. yeah. There's so many that have been treated. Yes. So what about dental? That's
14:34 awesome. Yeah. Right. So the way it started, it one of our our volunteer Stephanie Meco
14:44 rights. They're more than volunteers. They're good. >> Family friends they're good
14:49 supporters of the ministry that that is the. >> My girl. I trucking
14:55 company. So one day she said to me, my loan, have you thought about doing free
15:00 dental care? I said, well, that involves a lot of work. The since you mentioned it.
15:05 Let's walk forward and see if God opens the doors and oh, my goodness, doors left you need
15:12 a reason for it is that dental is the very day that they don't have access to dental
15:17 care and even people who do have dental insurance, which is very few, they have such a
15:23 high deductible of at the time. They can't afford it. And so you have people who are
15:28 in pain for years, we even had one lady that came to get her tooth She said I took a pair
15:33 of pliers and I tried to pull at my and my 2 shattered. So can please help me? So that's
15:39 that it is. An believe this is happening in America. This is in America. This is America.
15:45 so we have a dental bus God blessed us with that. I think we have a pick yes, wow, for
15:53 look. So when we say the doors open lifting, right, open. Let you 3 seats and they're yes.
16:01 And we have a video of it in Was that? Yeah, it's coming up later in case. did you want to
16:10 sing thing before we got into the Got that how he got the bus. I want to know
16:15 half-million-dollar bus, right? Yeah. >> Oh, We that's the bus,
16:21 right? But and it is that game in that community. As my wife, this mention people they want
16:27 to come to see the dentist, that Heath is almost down to the gum line. don't they don't
16:33 have access. the McIlroy's ask about what what is our mission and with our desire. And so we
16:41 explain to them that is one of concerns. And so that the proposed to them and that is
16:48 my good friends. A marker this day lives. Stephanie. And immediately we looking for a
16:53 dental bus, how it was not long before united is by God. There are many missions have
17:01 been around the world, right? But this one here. It is different wives. He is in God
17:10 is intentional. Everything we need x of human resources, too good that you can't force
17:14 people Right. I asked him move on their heart. Yes, that intentional type material.
17:20 Things he has provided. And so that bus now want to go into and is the game-changer.
17:28 You're right because people tried >> say there are things about
17:34 us. Me a call to, you know, be up to some, but that dental bus when that bus shows up all
17:40 that, all that rhetoric is out >> Bus are stealth bomber. So the walls are up high and then
17:47 the bus comes in we've said what York Union town, we have one coming up this April in
17:57 Utah. So when that bus comes in, it's like the walls collapsed. And then that's
18:03 when we send the footman in, which is the first hour. That's what I saw. They're the
18:07 And so now all the weapons have been pushed to the side and that able to go in and
18:14 people see, oh, you guys came in to this from, yes, come on and pray with me. work with my
18:18 kids. And so >> it's really helping us to be able to spread the gospel
18:26 yes, I more effect. And how do you teach them the basics like how the flaws?
18:31 >> And Pusha Tong and things like that. Do these a good question. So in this area.
18:37 There's a lack of understanding about cause and effect. How did I get here?
18:42 Yeah. And so it is not a myth out there on. That's why education is very important to
18:47 talk about it later on. yes, when we have fair that we that perform. We have different
18:58 levels education. we have, of course, the extractions and fillings that we do and we
19:03 have this but point and that comes in with it. And we have sometimes to some. But, you
19:07 know, general So without that Moon and that's working with the kids that would release
19:13 taught you look at it, though, the folks most of the Tpo ID right.
19:18 >> But the awesome thing about it is, of course, there's a weight right? So while they're
19:24 waiting, we have modeled teeth and teach them how to fly us and them pictures how to
19:30 brush. And then when they leave the get actually a little gift bag, the has floss
19:35 toothbrush toothpaste and the something is while they're waiting. You guys met Symphony
19:42 that, >> Yes. She and her husband. They're in charge of a program
19:47 where they sing the songs and they skits about love of God. And the people are so
19:52 interested. >> And when maybe she even came, she said, you know, I
19:55 can for my teeth. But >> the pain is gone. also she was just so so blessed by at
20:06 yes. >> So so you get a chance to minister and pray with the
20:10 people. >> Oh, yes. Oh, yes, we do. And I last our very last
20:13 station is actually wear they have the opportunity to sign up for Bible studies. They
20:21 have the opportunity to learn a sign up for cooking classes and they can get literature.
20:25 And then we people that pray with them at the very thing. If you don't attach a
20:31 spiritual component to the medical, I try not us right? >> So many times, one be
20:36 include people to work with this. That's one of the understanding is that we have
20:41 a goal is not just for the tempo life. tunnel. So if we're even into everything
20:45 that we do, >> which is why it's so important that our volunteers
20:52 understand that yes, so that they are praying that that's the last station. Yes, it's
20:58 why it's important that our volunteers understand that. we have some videos actually of
21:05 the dentist. Yeah. Who come and give their own time. I'm telling you they pay their own
21:10 flight 2 of the dentist which you'll hear from, unfortunately in the state of
21:14 Alabama, unlike other states. Yeah. Even though you're licensed dentist, you cannot
21:21 volunteer in Alabama without Alabama license. So 2 of our dentist are out of state.
21:28 Doctor Webb Lee from Colorado and Doctor Philip MacGyver from Maryland. He's actually
21:33 on yeah. Relations in a sea of green. The head of the powerful testimony. Yes. And
21:36 so we'll start with Doctor Webb, Lee. I think her video is.
21:39 >> Okay. Let's see. Okay to see. >> My is not just some of the
21:46 weapon and part of the next 10 to I formally introduced in few years ago by a member
21:53 assisted. Jack said she they announced that once at my church and 7 in Denver,
22:03 Colorado, saying that she was looking for volunteers to go to Mississippi and wellness
22:12 center and we will working with. And team there. I don't want she got people together.
22:22 We at it in 2020 to help do this on the center. I had a great time. It was wonderful
22:30 experience. It was a great blessing to be able to work with and that who very
22:36 passionate about what they and had a heart for helping the people that they served. Dan
22:40 had mentioned to doctor the not that I was a dentist. So when I got the year through
22:51 conversation, we talked a little bit more about and they let me know about a vision
22:58 that they bring free dental clinic, 2 communities in area, the school about That's was
23:11 on. May need for a person's out so they want offer free to anyone who is or under-insured
23:22 it so that people can get those needs met. I into practice and that she out that
23:30 I needed to My son dead tissue there. I took gray and that's called a few months later.
23:43 they said that the war was working things out. He was putting tools in place in
23:49 order to get this free dental going. So our first, was in March of 2022 and it was a
24:00 great success are able to see quite a few patients. I think we extract said 218 I first
24:10 put and the people that are there just are giving testimony how blessed they
24:16 were. They were talking about just how one them was that working to get this service
24:22 and get it for free? I just to be out of pain all and appreciate you guys. have
24:35 because old so full of this fear what? >> I appreciate you all.
24:42 really something candidate with and from what love they for their because almost
24:57 >> my daughter called last Monday. They don't do it then. Is it that
25:07 >> I can't believe has been about 6 60 years. >> 6
25:18 >> so >> that has you know, wonderful for me because being
25:23 able to provide for those who are in need to get patients or people out of pain or game and
25:33 help them to have his wonderful whenever possible is something that I enjoy doing
25:41 >> I that it is always a wonderful thing to be able to use the gifts that God has
25:47 given and just being able to cope with. And that's seen as a forward that opportunity to
25:54 do something as well provide service for people who are need. I've been blessed to
26:02 work with a great team their teams got move isn't all sent in. don't see or you know
26:14 there are rules to a got to play to Marcus Moss where the wonderful to work with it. And
26:25 they were passionate about did and the war happy to be able to serve schools who are able
26:32 to treat in out of At this time. think the vision is to the free dental at least 3
26:42 times a year for me for you know how things are going and just the plans for the
26:48 different communities that are reaching out for for this sort of state has grown because
26:54 after the first one, medical for what it was headed and we're to do medical exams and
27:05 just see as far as on the medical side, what patients situations may be, of them and
27:13 on that side and we're working with them to Chris dot to We're family practitioners and
27:22 then an officer with who is general act in any great things pediatrician so growth
27:30 is And Knox has me to do all those things and also blessed someone with something that I
27:40 think you and I had wonderful time being a part of the not settle teen to God be with the
27:43 Lord. >> Wow. That is amazing. You you have to give us an
27:51 overview. This is amazing. Now tell us about some of the challenges of even getting
27:54 dentist to come. >> also unfortunately, Alabama does not allow volunteer
28:01 dentist to practice in the state. So you most states you just sign the papers saying
28:07 that you will not accept any eye income for your work, maybe pay $20200. But for
28:15 Alabama, you actually have to get a license which cost? 2200 $1 you And Doctor Webb, Lee,
28:20 she did that on her. All that she did. And the lady on that video when she said 6 years
28:26 she was saying she was in pain for 6 years, but because she's on a fixed income, she had no
28:31 choice. She just had to do with it. >> That is amazing. That is
28:35 amazing. With God move in a powerful way. The testimony and this is what this is where
28:40 the gospel really, you know, that how to see the rubber hits the where people are just
28:46 being affected. And I like what you said has just before one to the videotape. But the
28:51 walls coming down that's that's really powerful. And the gospel. And we just kind
28:56 of let me add to that attack to that. The 3 h's messages, not just the biblical gospel
29:01 night, but the social and the medical possible. And without that, without that, we
29:06 wouldn't be able to make any progress. >> Try a in this part of the
29:10 country. Their religion is a culture that right there. So it's like to be telling you.
29:17 Going to be a Jamaican anymore. the that it doesn't happen, it doesn't. It doesn't
29:23 calculate. And so without medical aspect. You won't even make any games. And that is
29:31 when even open the door. No, that would not move and not that we have the medical
29:33 moving in. It spread like wildfire. We have another doctor. He's a surgeon and he
29:41 just and you know, if you have testimony how God placed than that and we try to explain to
29:46 them is God put you on that black belt. There's no money could be made and out is that
29:51 we have 5 minutes. Doctor is in lockdown. Medical the cause every day while cooking every
29:57 day. But we don't recognize I'm a doctor. Gibson. He just didn't. Fabulous job. When a
30:05 student that had a situation. And his wife. Work with naps every Sabbath. That's
30:14 testimony. I think we have a video just a moment. OK? Let's hear
30:20 >> Hello, my name is Quinn skips in on a general surgeon practicing in rural Alabama
30:25 and also a proud alumnus of a lull in the school of medicine class of 2016. During the past
30:30 few years, I've been volunteering with and a black belt region of Alabama. I'm so
30:35 privileged to serve along with several other physicians from specialties as well as Dan
30:39 says, and nurses from institutions such as Oakwood University and University as
30:44 we serve some of the most vulnerable individuals in the country. There have been
30:50 several organized events such as dental clinics where free dental work has been provided
30:54 to individuals who would not otherwise have the means to obtain it. In addition, they
30:59 have been medical screenings and entry health services offered too many individuals
31:04 for free as part of naps sponsored events. In addition to these major events, there's
31:12 also been outreach to the community through activities such as food banks, where food
31:15 has been distributed to needy individuals, health seminars, evangelistic efforts to both
31:20 children as well as adults. And it has been my privilege to serve alongside with my
31:24 wife and 2 children has not only mingle with the people Alabama as well as serve them,
31:31 but we also ultimately didn't follow Christ. It has been a blessing to see multicultural.
31:37 Multiethnic teams come together under the auspices of naps to help meet many of the
31:42 challenges of this area. During my day job as a general surgeon, I'm confronted every
31:49 single day with the great need of health care for this region. The reality is
31:54 obesity, heart disease, diabetes are affecting individuals in this region.
32:01 Disproportionately irrespective of race and at times, even irrespective of
32:05 socioeconomic status. Preventative care, health education, along with
32:11 friendly, loving faces. Get help to mitigate stop prevent some of the most challenging
32:16 health problems of this part of the United States of America. What we need, we need
32:21 more health care providers such as physicians, dentists nurses and other ancillary
32:26 professions. With a commitment for missions service and spreading the everlasting
32:33 gospel to help staff and provide support for these efforts. We also are in great
32:37 need of your prayers and you support as we strive to provide holistic care to the
32:43 people of this community. Thank you. >> That's amazing. That is
32:54 amazing. You made a statement before we went to this video that I want you to reiterate
33:00 because we talked about. The belt along the black belt does not a lot of money to be made
33:07 so that the a general surgeon, you know, you're not there for financial reasons. And a
33:14 doctor. Gibson lives in that area Let's ride on the street from us now. He did not know
33:18 headquarters where way? He found his property because he was looking all around. And so
33:24 God is planted these folks. You know, a backyard use because, you know, the burden
33:30 that we're coming to for years unable to make gains. And so now these doctors that has to
33:35 be a miracle. And we all know that it probably really leave. >> And we doctor Philip
33:43 Maciver. He's the or Max lay Should surgeon. He also had to pay $2200 on the practice in
33:52 Alabama from Maryland. He's practices in Maryland. And so he felt so compelled that he
33:57 said I just got to do it and we don't we don't pay for their flights. We just do
34:04 housing and food when they come. But this is how passionate they are in. He has
34:09 some testimony. And so if we can hear shows testimony yesterday, let's listen to
34:13 that. >> My name is Doctor Philip all surgeon practicing in
34:18 Maryland. graduate of Oakwood College class of 1999. then went on to I don't agree. A
34:26 home in university. And all of that space to kids at Columbia University Hospital Center. So
34:34 I've been working with naps and volunteering since Monday's Oakwood. So Doctor
34:41 Paul approaching a year or 2 ago regarding there intended plans to work the Black Belt
34:45 South, Alabama. I was excited. And then he had We southern work by Ellen Way, a
34:54 collective writings regarding and whites using appeals regarding the South. And I was
34:59 blown away. She he's no general appeal. She give a specific crystal clear appeal
35:07 for us to help. And lend a helping hand to those in the South, particularly those
35:14 communities neglected. From the days of slavery. So I consider it not only honor,
35:22 but also an obligation. To lend my all the things. But the Lord has given me to help.
35:33 feel this need specific need in the South. I never forget the first time I was going
35:38 down help naps. general mission and Alabama. Was headed to the airport from
35:45 Maryland to fly down to Alabama. have my gains full the materials, dental
35:51 insurance. And so to the airport left him plenty of time until I hit traffic.
36:00 Unforeseen. And before I knew it, I was in danger of missing my flight. So during that
36:06 stress, I started to question, this really what the Lord wants me to get involved? I
36:11 started to recall some of the delays I had in getting out thin ice and share some of the
36:16 obstacles that. experienced and trying to get down home. I excuse just cause start to
36:24 come to mind. Well, you know, I can just hope. Continue to help the church involved the
36:32 community services that we have nearby. Maybe Lord doesn't want me to. Get so
36:37 involved. So I said, Lord, I believe that you want me to help with just to confirm. I'm
36:44 headed to the airport. It's always packed in terms of the parking structure parking
36:50 garage. You could give me that one parking spot. Close to the elevator so I can get to term
36:58 or as soon as possible. And also if you give me. Luggage cart. At the parking spot so
37:09 that I could just unload the bins onto the cart. Go to the elevator, get 2 terminals,
37:14 check-in and check all the beings. Pulling to the crowded parking garage. And they're
37:21 right in front the elevator. It's an empty parking spot. At the parking spot. Is a luggage
37:30 cart just for me. So I said Lord. I plea. I haven't looked back.
37:40 >> And makes a strong and clear crystal-clear pew for us to help in the black belts
37:48 It's a wide area she caused a great harvest view. That has been neglected. For the many
37:56 doors at the door is open for me. The many pathways he created so I could get to
37:59 where I am. I obligated to go back and help and serve. It's also the stylistic. Going
38:07 through those communities. It reminds the time to revisit where my mother grew up in the
38:12 south in the Carolinas. And just interacting with people. It feels natural and it feels
38:21 like home. So I there's a part of me that. Part of my heritage is still. So for me,
38:31 I feel an obligation. The Lord has opened so many doors for me created so many pathways so
38:36 that I could becoming a neurosurgeon so that can then give back and serve. And serve
38:44 in the black vote just means so much because part of my heritage and it's a part that
38:49 of my heritage that is. In today's time neglected. So. For me to look in the mirror.
38:59 And think of trying to think of any excuse not to help. There is no excuse. And that's
39:06 why sir. >> Well, thank you so much. Thank you so much. That's
39:15 amazing. And the miracle walk in space. The miracle of the of the leichhardt and the
39:20 parking space, right where he asked God to put Yeah. >> We have a bucket full of
39:26 those that have testimonies this mission to the south. I mentioned and some white
39:33 specifically, it's not like going to all the world. That's not that's general. It's one
39:37 of 50 and she does a sweat. We have that reduces wept for these people under the age of
39:42 what. >> Bush the hearts. >> When they what had
39:47 happened, what was happening that moving into that? I do know that did ask the question
39:52 to you the other day about pay. What? >> For She did. And we had to
40:00 tell her she didn't understand how why we're so blessed. And so we choose that. We were
40:07 getting paid by NASA had to tell him. No, we don't. >> We don't get paid by. NASA
40:10 were actually among the top 5 donors to naps. the more you give, the more God bless you
40:18 don't have the worry about that when you're doing is working Friday
40:24 >> That's amazing. young aid, beautiful to us J and that's on your heart.
40:37 >> So I want to give my personal testimony of how I join ups. And how like naps is
40:42 made a powerful impact on my life. So like I said before, I was 5 and a freshman that's at
40:48 the Boys and Girls Club. And they, you know, that the skin of Noah's Ark and how like the
40:55 people at the end like know that me But you're making fun of NOAA in the big like in the
41:00 and like how? >> You need to like trust and believe even if you're not,
41:07 even if you don't believe. And he's saying something that is true. Try to believe it. But
41:12 it's not go to the So, yeah. So when I was 6 years old, I was going to a public school
41:19 and Outman Alabama. And my literacy was not to create us. I could barely read at the
41:25 barely talk. So there's this couple from naps name Miss Minister Viktor Pow. They came
41:30 to my house that to my mom about naps and like what they do in the in the community and
41:37 how they're starting the school. So was like what this House? So when the school
41:42 first opened first opened up, I was one of the first kids to join the school. Wow. And I'm
41:50 so glad that got him a that. I'm grateful that got to my mom go school because I've
41:57 been to that school for like 8 years now. We've got made a powerful impact on my life.
42:04 And Mike got opened so many doors for me that I don't even believe. Like I've been to
42:11 places where I thought I never will go to. But I've been to Maryland. That's New York,
42:16 Texas spite different missions in the states and making impact on other kits and how
42:21 they're taking what they learned. I taught them to their parents and to the
42:26 families and how they're covering to be. 75 minutes. And it's very powerful or
42:32 whatnot And I'm so glad that got call me to be a part of it.
42:39 >> so well spoken. you know, I've dannys not here, but that's the 2 And if you see
42:47 this wow, what a that's a praise, the Lord. she couldn't 6 years old and look at speak.
42:56 within. Not only that, not only did learn how to put your teaching other children who
42:58 are teaching other children and parents impacting children.
43:03 >> How do you now 13? Wow. So young just to just to see what what is ahead of, know, doctor
43:08 as he walks along with. >> Right. So with the children, we like to know what
43:14 their desires are with their dreams are. >> And Jane, what do you want
43:17 to be when you grow up? I wanted to be a pediatrician. And so so she has the
43:23 opportunity of working with us in our clinic because we have an outpatient clinic on the
43:28 campus. And so she's learned things like that come a complete circulatory system.
43:34 How the blood flows art, those I'm not going to ask you to say here
43:41 >> hand and she you know, different things like blood pressure and things of that
43:48 sort. So she'll come with me with the patients. And if they allow and they all do, they
43:51 love her. >> And she'll get to learn different things. So already
43:54 at the age of 13, she's being exposed to out patient medical clinic settings. So you get
44:01 free training. we have charge. >> Hard and it's still you still have that desire to be a
44:11 pediatrician. Yes, wow. That's amazing. She is the farm go-to. Yes, she is a Yeah. Are
44:16 you not use your hands Yes. Track to 2. >> little bit on track to
44:22 little bit on track to so as Mike Act as they have a huge farm, they have a lot of
44:28 animals to have horses. Yeah. The donkey that have cows and goats.
44:38 >> Dogs. Haha all morning. All to and off. Got and but chickens and it's amazing how
44:45 they got created different animals and like their purposes.
44:48 >> And the like as they have that there's different ministries. They have to have
44:51 goats. When they milk the goats, they use the goat's milk to make so that yes,
44:56 goat's milk. So. And it helps relieve eczema. And I remember like my brother started using
45:02 it and he started losing his asthma. So yeah, it's a feeds animal every morning.
45:12 >> you're not only getting you're getting all kind of training.
45:15 >> She is. That's the praise. God. You Scott is getting you And all I would say Khan is
45:21 getting ready for big things. Know God is already doing the yeah. You don't have to look
45:26 for that to come in the future. It's already happened. Wow. I I think that the
45:32 testimony. it's interesting that you are just getting on the power of a trained.
45:40 >> Young person. I want to read a quote that many of us are familiar with and it's
45:44 something I know and I join on. Sweet, always with talk about it says with such an
45:48 army of workers as our youth rightly trained, might furnish how soon the message of a
45:56 crucified risen and soon coming savior might be carried to the whole world. How soon
46:03 the might the end comes. The end of suffering that right of sorrow and Sen how soon in
46:10 place of a possession here with its blight of sending paying our children might
46:16 receive their inheritance where the righteous shall inherit the land and well,
46:20 they're in for ever where the inhabitant shall not say I'm and the voice of weeping shall
46:27 be no more heard. Beautiful. There's something powerful about our young people being
46:34 trained, try. And this is one of the reasons why the enemy love to attack the home, try
46:39 it because once a child no longer desires to know about Christ, then he knows that
46:45 he's affected the entire future of our homes. Our families, our church, that
46:50 right. And he has hurt. Our savior. And so one of the things that naps has done for
46:58 years now and we've seen testimonies for days as we do a summer camp every summer.
47:04 But this isn't a camp where. Students are children, learn things that are temp No, our
47:12 campus, the focus of our camp, its preparation for the second coming of Christ came That is
47:19 the main focus tonight. I'm as naps has traveled around the country around the globe. I've
47:27 heard that here's have wiped the tears and heard the cries of parents weeping for their
47:31 children. They want their children to have a desire to be prepared for the second
47:36 coming grandparents, aunts, uncles, weeping for their nieces, nephews and
47:41 grandchildren. This camp, it's not a normal camp. It's bigger. It's better. I've seen
47:46 life transform free. Turn 18 and so I'm I'm when it comes to the camp, one of the some
47:55 of the things that we do is we we have canvassing we go door to door. The students learn
48:01 about the books. They're distributing and we have fun while doing and it's the best
48:09 experience My >> And it's a great experience because we have knocked on
48:15 doors. Were people on the brink? >> Of giving up on and they
48:20 said had you not knock and our students are able to see these young people who have come
48:25 from all over for this camp are able to see wow, because I came the Devils, but hold was
48:32 lost. Not only that, but we do evangelism the students. The children are trained as Bible
48:38 workers. So they're able to go door-to-door and God is using young children to share the
48:43 truth, teaching about so many things from second coming. Kevin State of the dead and so
48:50 much more. It reminds me of a testimony because this camp is not just for the children. We
48:56 found that one of the beautiful things is when the whole family comes or even a
49:02 church brings their youth group are Pathfinder. Leader. You know, any youth director
49:06 brings their use group. What it does is when the child goes back home, they have support
49:13 because what happens when you have a child ready to run? But a parent or a leader doesn't
49:20 understand where they're going. And so we this this is a camp. If you are a leader
49:23 right now, I'm I'm appealing for you. If you are a youth director, Pathfinder happened
49:30 or directors, savage school teacher, a teacher and one of our schools. This is your
49:34 opportunity. You may be of them spraying. Yes, I don't know how to reach these young
49:38 people. This is an answer to your prayers held camera. Yeah. Listen, I have seen
49:44 lives change. I'm not making this up last year when we had our camp, we had some 2 girls
49:48 in. These are not girls from the street or anything like that. These are coming from a
49:55 Venice families and one of the advantage family said I want to save my family members. So
49:59 she brought them. They weren't even her kids. She brought them within the first moments
50:04 that they were at the camp. I they think the kid sisters were at war, it was like Jacob
50:11 and and >> you know, the temptation is.
50:15 >> Get out. You know, yes. >> But God said this is why they're here and trying praise
50:23 And I watched as God took those girls and transform them too. Break down the walls at
50:30 the double had put up when we're teaching them about state of the dead because in
50:35 order for them to go out as 5 workers, they have to learn through the 2 sisters that the
50:40 we're right behind them as they couldn't really know what they said. Did you hear they
50:44 said, listen. When we get home. They didn't see these girls didn't know what happens
50:50 when you die and they have been getting visited. Bye. What they thought was their
50:58 grandmothers And can you imagine how that spirit of been torching? They say when
51:00 we get home. Graham all comes back. We're going to say get behind me same that saying
51:08 that during as they're learning, you know, like and when we left they they were
51:12 changed their weeping. They didn't want to go. They were hugging each other.
51:16 >> a warning yes. and so this is my appealed. If you have young people that you're
51:22 praying for young people that you really want to be saved this summer, don't hesitate go

52:19 So yes, yes. So we are excited. I can't wait to see what God is us. yeah, yeah,
52:31 >> We want to for that one. I'm excited one of the summer camp and I hope that.
52:36 >> Those yeah, watching can take advantage of that is going to be amazing. Remember,
52:41 she says sign up now. I one more weren't sold at our one of our recent camps as well.
52:47 >> There were there was a family that came and after they had gone through the
52:52 camp, they were so excited about the word of God. The parents were confused when
52:56 they when they got home. The girls were just reading. The kids were reading their bibles
53:02 for themself. And then they said we took our kids a vacation. And, you know, we're
53:05 going to the beach and everything the kids were going to their cousins and sharing
53:10 the exact truth that they had heard preparation for the second coming. And so this
53:15 isn't something that is just a short term fix. This is something that is contagious.
53:22 They're being trained as disciples for Christ and they're falling in love right
53:26 And thank you. >> Talk to Paul. I work for 3ABN, Radio Cayman and I love

54:11 pandemic, there was so much growth ignorance in that region, people away and a mask
54:16 while I'm sleeping on job getting the did no cause and effect. If we had a radio
54:20 station and then we're going to a lot of good inroads. Well, we said, let's do the
54:25 registration. Fortunately for the know Mike or trucking companies stepped in again and
54:31 has provided beyond everything in place. The tower money, everything in place for the
54:38 EPA has not passed the laws that, yeah, that's that's going to get one testimony.
54:42 Yeah. Luke said this opportunity only comes up once every 14 years. Well.
54:49 >> So write so that when there was as narrow window. So we know that God wants us to go
