He is a cardiologist. The speaker director for Hart Wise 00:00:29.99\00:00:36.03 Ministry. He has a program that's been airing on 3, and for 15 years nearly it's 00:00:36.03\00:00:42.17 called typical prescriptions and he's an author. He's Hayes. Just 00:00:42.17\00:00:50.25 a wonderful a man who is love with the Lord has a beautiful family menace it. Your family's 00:00:50.25\00:00:58.85 beautiful, but just got such a heart for people in ministry. Once again, we just want to 00:00:58.85\00:01:02.26 thank you for being here tonight. >> Well, I don't know if you remember about 15 years 00:01:02.26\00:01:09.03 ago we did this show called wonderfully made. Yes, I do. Remember, that was exciting. 00:01:09.03\00:01:16.14 That he just the other day. We made those won by a program same where years go by. I'll 00:01:16.14\00:01:21.68 tell you. and this is the first time my wife Sonya, my lovely wife, Sonya is up here 00:01:21.68\00:01:27.85 actually with me. I And so I'm excited about We're going to start doing more things 00:01:27.85\00:01:32.92 together now that we have a little more time. So that makes me excited. But I told I 00:01:32.92\00:01:37.19 wanted to ask a question to you before we get to all these questions. Okay. I hear you've 00:01:37.19\00:01:41.96 been diligently writing a book. I want you to tell me a little bit about that quickly 00:01:41.96\00:01:47.07 because I want to read it. Okay. >> I took 2 months off from 00:01:47.07\00:01:51.11 work actually 10 weeks. I wrote a book called Spotless. The Everlasting Covenant. It 00:01:51.11\00:01:57.85 will be coming out probably in January. I we're going to be launching is series about 00:01:57.85\00:02:03.39 this. >> It is all about it's the story of chases. 00:02:03.39\00:02:06.05 >> And, you know, something that's interesting. Jesus told the Jews and John 5.46, if you 00:02:06.05\00:02:14.73 don't believe most, writings, you won't believe me. >> And 00:02:14.73\00:02:20.30 that, wow. And you know, after his resurrection, he took them through that. So this is going 00:02:20.30\00:02:26.37 from Genesis Sport caught just. Opened up that the whole idea of the pathway from righteousness 00:02:26.37\00:02:36.75 by faith that he opened as soon as there was sand. And then bills. It's a beautiful book. 00:02:36.75\00:02:44.16 It's all about righteousness by faith. And so I'm excited that. 00:02:44.16\00:02:47.86 >> sounds like they're going to be tons of biblical prescription. news and bring 00:02:47.86\00:02:52.30 them closer to the big picture. A man. This is a big picture for 00:02:52.30\00:02:58.07 yeah. Now, let me say one thing quick because we're getting ready to delve into some of your 00:02:58.07\00:03:01.91 questions. >> But if you're just joining us, maybe don't realize this whole hour. We're taking 00:03:01.91\00:03:07.55 your medical questions. We have a cardiologist here. He pretty knowledgeable, most areas of 00:03:07.55\00:03:11.99 medicine, but we're going. see we have a lot hard questions. And if you have a particular 00:03:11.99\00:03:21.10 speed group, sure that uses a biblical prescription, Texas, then as well. So the number is 00:03:21.10\00:03:27.94 to text 6, 1, 8, 228-3975, at 6, 1, 8, 2, 2, 8, 3, 9, 7, 5, And the e-mail. If you want to 00:03:27.94\00:03:41.92 e-mail, it's live Alive III at 3ABN, >> DOT TV. So 00:03:41.92\00:03:47.79 >> let's jump into some of these pit questions. How you want to 00:03:47.79\00:03:50.09 ask a couple? >> Yes. And then that's a here. >> I have heart 00:03:50.09\00:03:58.87 palpitations and I eat healthy. I don't drink caffeine. >> I've had an EKG and they 00:03:58.87\00:04:03.91 didn't find anything abnormal after wearing a heart monitor for 24 hours, about 30 years 00:04:03.91\00:04:09.14 old. And I'm wondering what I can do to help not get these heart palpitations, OK? 00:04:09.14\00:04:15.85 >> So if this person came to the office to see me with this complaint, what I would do is 00:04:15.85\00:04:22.89 first I'd make sure they had a strong heart. Okay. There's lots of ways we can do that. 00:04:22.89\00:04:29.36 They wore monitor, but I want them to where we have monitors now that people can wear wear 00:04:29.36\00:04:33.00 fur long periods of time. I put one of those monitors on and I say, listen right down 00:04:33.00\00:04:39.37 when you're having these palpitations, what you're having. And then we would know 00:04:39.37\00:04:44.88 exactly whether this was a normal heartbeat, which sometimes it can be. You can 00:04:44.88\00:04:49.08 feel a normal heartbeat in certain situations. Stress-induced. I would also 00:04:49.08\00:04:54.59 want to know whether it was a skipped beat. We have one is called premature a troll from 00:04:54.59\00:04:58.23 the top part of the heart or premature ventricle from the bottom of the heart. The most 00:04:58.23\00:05:04.77 common rhythm that sometimes just last for seconds. A time when it first starts is one 00:05:04.77\00:05:08.07 called atrial fibrillation they might be having that. So I want 00:05:08.07\00:05:13.17 to put a long-term monitor and make sure the heart strong when the heart is strong. That makes 00:05:13.17\00:05:19.61 cardiologists feel much better because we know that even if you're having that, it's 00:05:19.61\00:05:23.05 probably not as dangerous to you. Then once I knew exactly what it was, I would work on 00:05:23.05\00:05:29.89 the big picture items. Make sure you have peace in Christ. Make 00:05:29.89\00:05:34.30 sure we had some lifestyle things that would help studies have shown that plant based 00:05:34.30\00:05:39.57 diets are really good because you get substances like magnesium, potassium and those 00:05:39.57\00:05:45.34 diets, things that would reduce stress is always going to help whether it be deep breathing 00:05:45.34\00:05:49.04 or daily walks less mental stress, looking for other things that might trigger the 00:05:49.04\00:05:54.68 heart to go awry. Some of the things I see frequently as people in just things that 00:05:54.68\00:06:00.69 stimulate the body. She mentioned caffeine. But there's 00:06:00.69\00:06:04.76 other things like weight loss medications, sleep medications over the counter, decongestants 00:06:04.76\00:06:10.67 that can disrupt the system as well. So this is looking at many different things. One step at a 00:06:10.67\00:06:16.74 time, pop it Haitians are dangerous when usually with the heart is weak or if you're 00:06:16.74\00:06:22.91 passing out, those would raise red flags that you need to get to the bottom of this right 00:06:22.91\00:06:26.92 away. So again, let's start with the monitor. See exactly what it is. And if it's if it's a 00:06:26.92\00:06:33.72 normal heartbeat, then we can work on lifestyle changes with that, be deep breathing 00:06:33.72\00:06:38.63 walking more. But we're sure that it's not dangerous and sometimes knowing that it's 00:06:38.63\00:06:42.70 not dangerous is the first step. Now sometimes in my experience, 00:06:42.70\00:06:49.50 I've I've had people that feel this palpitations and it's a normal heartbeat. When you make 00:06:49.50\00:06:54.21 adrenaline pop, I scare someone like that. I didn't scare you 00:06:54.21\00:06:58.48 guys, but they can feel the heart beating faster. Some of you out. There are minor scared, 00:06:58.48\00:07:03.49 but that adrenaline. So some people, especially people that I think have post traumatic 00:07:03.49\00:07:07.46 stress. I will put them on Medicines Beta blockers that can block some of that adrenaline on 00:07:07.46\00:07:13.86 the heart, especially if lifestyle changes and the biblical prescriptions are not 00:07:13.86\00:07:19.50 working because sometimes we've had jeans that just need to be changed. Beta blockers really 00:07:19.50\00:07:24.74 do well because they help get in the brain and turn off some of the stress that the brain 00:07:24.74\00:07:29.48 is generating, that people can't do it or sometimes we use beta blockers as a bridge 00:07:29.48\00:07:33.88 to to the making lifestyle changes, OK? So wasn't that a long answer that we know that 00:07:33.88\00:07:41.22 answer was so long. I think I knew music break >> has to take 00:07:41.22\00:07:47.83 a music break real quick because everybody loves Tim and ginger pictures. >> And they're going 00:07:47.83\00:07:51.43 to be singing her hit. She's going to be saying his name is wonderful and temps are going 00:07:51.43\00:07:55.84 to be pent playing the piano. 00:07:55.84\00:08:10.92 >> doing >> wonderful. >> It is. thing is 00:08:16.69\00:08:40.05 >> the >> guy is it >> I asked bit breezy. 00:08:40.05\00:08:54.10 >> a. >> he >> is the 00:08:54.10\00:09:11.21 >> Rahm? >> is >> cool. 00:09:11.21\00:09:21.56 ¤ ¤ >> This 00:09:21.56\00:09:47.95 >> ma >> The >> should 00:09:47.95\00:09:59.89 >> The >> Of by the abs >> oh, 00:09:59.89\00:10:27.39 ¤ >> Oh, yes. >> He is 00:10:27.39\00:10:50.25 ¤ ¤ >> Thank you, Tim. Thank you, 00:10:50.25\00:11:01.12 Ginger, have what tell us. A man. Well, we are with Doctor James Marcum. Gyms are good 00:11:01.12\00:11:09.90 friends. Some call them Yeah, but we have a lot of questions here. Seems on a I also suffer 00:11:09.90\00:11:13.03 from a >> Let's talk about this half. This is a question from 00:11:13.03\00:11:19.51 Pamela. And she says. I was diagnosed with a feb. What can I do to improve my health? I 00:11:19.51\00:11:27.65 am also diabetic. Okay. And then she adds she's got. Fatty liver, 00:11:27.65\00:11:37.59 OK? >> So there's a lot to unpack there. So, Pamela. I'm sorry, you have all these We 00:11:37.59\00:11:46.33 talked about the most important things is a biblical prescriptions. I'm so so don't 00:11:46.33\00:11:50.37 forget that part of your health. It's according that whether the 00:11:50.37\00:11:55.84 fibrillation is something that's coming in going or there all time. So we the HR for relations 00:11:55.84\00:12:03.49 with the top heart is beating faster than the bottom part. It's the most common rhythm 00:12:03.49\00:12:07.86 problem in America. One of the real dangers of a tool for the Les Tions. If it goes undetected 00:12:07.86\00:12:13.83 and he's not. Some people can develop blood clots and increases the risk of stroke. 00:12:13.83\00:12:21.57 So almost everyone with a tool for relation is we talked to them about blood thinners to 00:12:21.57\00:12:27.11 lower that risk. The second danger of a Fed is that if the heart's week if the heart's 00:12:27.11\00:12:33.31 weekend it's not synchronous, there's a higher chance of developing heart failure 00:12:33.31\00:12:40.92 having you with so well, they do an echocardiogram, OK, sound way 00:12:40.92\00:12:45.13 tested your heart. But older cardiologists have been doing it for 30 years. Sometimes we can 00:12:45.13\00:12:49.50 look at the EKG. Look at the X-ray to see if the hearts enlarged. Listen to it to see if 00:12:49.50\00:12:55.17 there's any murmurs. And we can tell just by examining and those simple test. But now days we 00:12:55.17\00:13:00.21 pretty much do an echocardiogram. But there's other ways to MRIs. See, there's 00:13:00.21\00:13:03.95 other ways to do it as well. So once we have those things then some people get a tool for 00:13:03.95\00:13:10.95 violations. The most common rhythm problem in America. So lots of people have that some 00:13:10.95\00:13:17.03 people have it just because of genetic problems. Some people have it because the high blood 00:13:17.03\00:13:20.33 pressure, sleep apnea, there's different thyroid issues. So there's many different causes. 00:13:20.33\00:13:26.27 So your doctor will want to get the cause. And that's the key. Pam is to understand 00:13:26.27\00:13:32.11 what's the cause? So ask your doctor, what do you think's causing FIP if it sleep at new 00:13:32.11\00:13:35.88 work on that, if it's high blood pressure work on that. If it's maybe not getting in 00:13:35.88\00:13:42.65 nutrition or stimulants are not enough sleep work on that. But sometimes you can work on 00:13:42.65\00:13:47.62 everything. And boy, I just had bad genes. Well, then that's the 00:13:47.62\00:13:54.03 time to explore. What's medicines might be good, which ones might be bad. And now days 00:13:54.03\00:14:00.17 over the last 30 years that I've been in practice is more more people are getting this 00:14:00.17\00:14:02.94 procedure, which we call an oblation. Oh, it sounds scary, but we're medical technology has 00:14:02.94\00:14:08.58 improved to the place where we go up persons asleep. They don't know what's happening. 00:14:08.58\00:14:15.45 I'm sure they're asleep and we go in. We map electrically engineering. Think we find out 00:14:15.45\00:14:19.25 what that circuits coming from. And if that's circuits coming from the pot, we can 00:14:19.25\00:14:24.76 easily destroyed that with a little sound wave. Energy. Now, some people, you know, 00:14:24.76\00:14:30.47 they have had it done, you know, by inexperienced people and they get a lot of scarring 00:14:30.47\00:14:34.24 from the the ablation catheter. Then we lose some options. So 00:14:34.24\00:14:41.08 other options we have the size of glacier our we have certain medications that might put it 00:14:41.08\00:14:45.35 rhythm. Of course, we can shock it, but that just keeps it in rhythm, temporarily. And then we 00:14:45.35\00:14:49.95 have different medications that we can use to try to keep it in rhythm. But some people don't 00:14:49.95\00:14:53.82 even know they have it. And those people at the heart strong. We just slow the heart 00:14:53.82\00:15:00.33 down. Talk to him about the risks and benefits of blood thinners. Now, Pam, so 00:15:00.33\00:15:04.20 improving your health. Find out the reason why. And that's the key diabetes. Well, that's 00:15:04.20\00:15:08.94 according to what you have type one type 2 or type one and a half type one is we're 00:15:08.94\00:15:15.04 not making insulin where you're going to need insulin for that type one and a half 00:15:15.04\00:15:19.21 where your body might not make enough insulin, but it's still making some and then type to 00:15:19.21\00:15:23.95 you. Making plenty of insulin. But the the shirt, the blood sugars. Not getting into the 00:15:23.95\00:15:29.22 cell. That's a receptor problem. And when that happens, you want 00:15:29.22\00:15:35.20 to lose weight, you know, because fat is our enemy and diabetes, lose weight, try to go 00:15:35.20\00:15:40.64 to a plant based diet, eat more plants, less fatty foods and get on a movement program or 00:15:40.64\00:15:46.41 exercise. It's hard to do that. But once you start taking those 00:15:46.41\00:15:51.75 steps that will help with diabetes. And also remember, if you eat more than 10 to 15% of 00:15:51.75\00:15:56.79 your body tennis, your calories and fat it Stuart, you know, we weren't made to store fat and if 00:15:56.79\00:16:03.09 it's stored, it stored based on your genetics. Some people stored in the arteries and we 00:16:03.09\00:16:06.76 have heart disease. Some people start in their liver. Some people start in their 00:16:06.76\00:16:12.03 belly, but fat is not good. So limit the fat you eat. limit the fat you can try to burn 00:16:12.03\00:16:19.67 off years ago, guys. We used to walk in burn off a lot of fat nowadays. We don't do 00:16:19.67\00:16:25.28 that. And unfortunately, that really taste pretty good. You must admit. But you have to 00:16:25.28\00:16:30.15 retrain your taste buds to get back to these healthier diets, especially one focus lots on 00:16:30.15\00:16:36.06 plants and started exercise program, Pam. And that will be a good, good place to start. 00:16:36.06\00:16:41.80 Now, Shelley JD, I know I'm not going to get to all the questions, but if you might 00:16:41.80\00:16:44.03 have a burning question, I have my you can write me a that takes 00:16:44.03\00:16:49.54 me a lot longer because I'm a poor rider. Now days. But also I e-mail and I can try to get back 00:16:49.54\00:16:56.48 to my personal emails. Heart Wise J M at Yahoo Dot Com. But I can keep some short. I remember 00:16:56.48\00:17:03.39 I can't give specific medical advice because I'm not in or, you know, a healing 00:17:03.39\00:17:09.42 relationship legally, but I can give general principles like we're doing tonight. That 00:17:09.42\00:17:12.79 might help you guide you and know what questions to answer. Ask your doctor. And I can 00:17:12.79\00:17:19.80 also make sure that you're having biblical prescriptions and make sure we can pray for 00:17:19.80\00:17:24.84 each other. And that's what I want to do today is everyone that comes in is watching. We 00:17:24.84\00:17:28.91 want to at the end of our program, pray for healing and pray for that. Everyone will 00:17:28.91\00:17:31.65 see the big picture and then and then. >> I just have to ask a 00:17:31.65\00:17:37.22 quick question a while I was writing those 10 weeks. Have sufficient water intake at the 00:17:37.22\00:17:45.39 stressor this is the second time in my life. I think that I've got pretty dehydrated. 00:17:45.39\00:17:53.13 And then I really had bad a tip. So talk about the connection 00:17:53.13\00:18:01.88 with. Water and canned heart. And what else like Colin? what? >> What can trigger the steak 00:18:01.88\00:18:09.18 tray gers want any type of stress on the body, whether it's pain, dehydration, mental 00:18:09.18\00:18:16.16 stress not getting enough oxygen sleeping at night having pain 00:18:16.16\00:18:20.96 having infections, any type of stress turns on the same chemicals, adrenaline and 00:18:20.96\00:18:26.13 cortisol. And when adrenaline kicks in, guess Watt? It wakes up a for the sitting in there 00:18:26.13\00:18:33.27 and he's nice and asleep. Oh, I'm doing good. I'm not going to worry about things. And then all 00:18:33.27\00:18:36.54 of a sudden he gets all the stress from sometimes more than one source. And he on a 00:18:36.54\00:18:41.58 wake up on the start taking over not to start doing bad things. So any type of stress 00:18:41.58\00:18:47.62 on the body, whether it be dehydration, not enough. Rest, not having balance. It can 00:18:47.62\00:18:53.23 trigger too much adrenaline adrenaline can turn on a tool for election. Now some people 00:18:53.23\00:18:58.10 are not under stress and still just get it as well. So it can come from many different ways. 00:18:58.10\00:19:01.67 But the less stress we're under the less chance of us having problems with a feb. 00:19:01.67\00:19:07.08 And of course, the less stress when we go out of rhythm, some people don't even feel it. If 00:19:07.08\00:19:10.91 it doesn't go fast, but adrenaline makes the heart grow fast. So if you out of a 00:19:10.91\00:19:17.32 fit for some other reason, whether it's a genetic pathway or whatever, if you have a lot 00:19:17.32\00:19:22.26 of adrenaline, your body, then you're a rate, goes real fast. White people. When you go into 00:19:22.26\00:19:27.50 a start taking some deep breaths. Try to relax. You might have a medicine your 00:19:27.50\00:19:34.47 doctors giving him to slow down. Sometimes you can break it with 00:19:34.47\00:19:38.04 a cough or rubbing your neck. And if if it's if it's a new thing and you're not taking a 00:19:38.04\00:19:42.01 blood thinner, your doctor might want to know about that. Pretty quick one thing I know. I don't 00:19:42.01\00:19:47.18 want to go out with the strokes. I You know what? Chilly? We've gotten much better since I've 00:19:47.18\00:19:53.39 started practice over the 30 years years ago, we only had 1, one you really do work 00:19:53.39\00:19:58.03 with. And that was coming in another name for that, Janet, what over the last few years 00:19:58.03\00:20:02.93 we've got ones that are easier to take ones like yellow Ques. We have one called the Rialto. 00:20:02.93\00:20:08.54 We have one culprit, AXA, but we've got a newer tool set to use as technology is improved. 00:20:08.54\00:20:14.98 So I know it's hard when you hear your doctors and when you hear about all these 00:20:14.98\00:20:20.88 pharmaceutical ads to sort through this because, you know, everyone knows that the 00:20:20.88\00:20:26.69 pharmaceutical industry has secondary causes to make those. 00:20:26.69\00:20:29.66 But there are some medicines that are bare, very useful and the benefits of taking these 00:20:29.66\00:20:33.70 medicines are worth the risk. And that's why you have to check with your doctor. Find a doctor 00:20:33.70\00:20:39.63 that has a belief system similar to you, yours and try to find that person. Pray about it and 00:20:39.63\00:20:44.54 know how to implement that into your overall health strategy. 00:20:44.54\00:20:49.88 >> yeah. Why we're turning this a perhaps with this one. >> Is there any chance of 00:20:49.88\00:20:53.82 recovery from a field that this is from brought in bed? >> Well, 00:20:53.82\00:20:58.45 there is always a chance for recovery, OK, always, I never say never. It's just where when 00:20:58.45\00:21:05.66 and how. So we know in heaven. I don't think there's going to be a OK? So that's a Some people if 00:21:05.66\00:21:14.34 they have a discreet cause of a tool for delay shun, they never see it again. Okay. But 00:21:14.34\00:21:20.74 most people that I've taken care of over 30 years. It shows up again and most people 00:21:20.74\00:21:27.82 as they get older, it shows up more often. But I don't want to get people discouraged 00:21:27.82\00:21:33.86 because there's lots of things we can do to manage this. Just like as I've gotten older, I 00:21:33.86\00:21:38.69 have more pains. I don't like those pains and I wish they would go away. But they keep 00:21:38.69\00:21:44.73 showing up. So I'm going to have to live with this until I get a new body. Sometimes we 00:21:44.73\00:21:50.47 have to live with this. But there is a chance it could not come back. But there's also 00:21:50.47\00:21:55.74 probably a greater chance that it's going to show up again. But it's not something we have 00:21:55.74\00:21:58.85 to have forever. Just like we don't cancer forever. We don't have that of heart disease or 00:21:58.85\00:22:04.75 diabetes. We don't have to have these things forever because we 00:22:04.75\00:22:10.19 know that we have the big picture them when we have crisis in our hearts, he's promised us 00:22:10.19\00:22:14.36 when we're with him. He's given us eternal life. And that's that's that that will make us 00:22:14.36\00:22:21.00 feel good. >> Now should question because this is 00:22:21.00\00:22:23.37 interesting. This still fun along the line. Yeah, but it says can stress and anxiety 00:22:23.37\00:22:31.78 caused the heart to take an indication extra be yes. What cause the heart to race? What 00:22:31.78\00:22:39.79 causes the ankles to sweat out sometime? Well, first, any type of stress can cause the heart to 00:22:39.79\00:22:42.79 take extra beats because we talked about adrenaline. >> Can be a PVC or P a C 2. 00:22:42.79\00:22:48.26 That's part. One of the question was part to that. >> Question. 00:22:48.26\00:22:51.23 Part 2 is what causes the ankles to swell. >> Many things can cause the ankles to swell. It's 00:22:51.23\00:22:58.51 particularly concerning if its swelling and you can't lay down. And really well because 00:22:58.51\00:23:04.71 that could be heart failure. That's one of the reasons that's a concerning. So but 00:23:04.71\00:23:09.78 other things can just having bad can cause your legs to swell. And that's called Venus 00:23:09.78\00:23:15.72 Insufficiency in a stand up all day. You don't move enough, your 00:23:15.72\00:23:19.96 legs. Well, compression stockings can help with that. A bad kidney. You can't get rid of 00:23:19.96\00:23:24.97 all the fluid in the body that can make the legs to swell a bad liver can make the heart to 00:23:24.97\00:23:30.94 swell because there's protein changes when you have enough protein in the body. We can 00:23:30.94\00:23:33.44 have swelling as well. So there's many different things that can cause the swelling to 00:23:33.44\00:23:37.81 happen. What's the next part of that question? >> I that was all 00:23:37.81\00:23:41.88 of that question. But here's follow-up. 2 very similar. Well, 2 real quick. This one 00:23:41.88\00:23:47.42 is if you're this is from Bobby in Carbondale. Hi, Bobbie. pressure is good. But 00:23:47.42\00:23:56.53 Pulse is very high. What does that have to do with the heart? 00:23:56.53\00:24:04.97 OK? >> So all of these things that we talk about, blood pressure, heart rate. The they 00:24:04.97\00:24:11.51 those are clues and we have to take everything in context. Okay. The fact that the blood 00:24:11.51\00:24:16.38 pressure good is encouraging. But the high heart rate might the heart might be going fast 00:24:16.38\00:24:22.06 to keep the blood pressure up. For instance, if a person losing blood, anemic. Okay, 00:24:22.06\00:24:30.60 the heart's going go faster to keep the blood pressure up to previews the ordinance. 00:24:30.60\00:24:33.90 >> Follow me. There had been a if a person has infection in the body. Well, infection 00:24:33.90\00:24:40.51 itself. Can make the blood pressure go lower. Well, the heart's going to speed up to 00:24:40.51\00:24:44.85 keep the blood pressure up to perfused the organs. We need blood pressure did to get 00:24:44.85\00:24:48.68 oxygen to our cells and to remove waste. So the heart speeds up sometimes to keep 00:24:48.68\00:24:54.16 the blood pressure up. So we want to know if why the heart is going hard. What's the 00:24:54.16\00:25:01.10 reason is there an underlying medical condition is there something I injure can problem 00:25:01.10\00:25:05.93 like thyroid disease is there are other problems with the adrenal glands that might be 00:25:05.93\00:25:11.01 making the heart go fast. So all of those things are things that your doctor wide explore 00:25:11.01\00:25:16.95 and you can explore those with a good history, physical, maybe some simple blood work, 00:25:16.95\00:25:22.65 maybe checking your thyroid, making sure you're not in the checking your electrolytes. So 00:25:22.65\00:25:27.06 those are things or it might be that it's running high because 00:25:27.06\00:25:31.93 life makes you run hard and that but that it is worth something to look into. That's a great 00:25:31.93\00:25:36.56 question. But it's based on the context of your overall health and we can't really answer that 00:25:36.56\00:25:42.07 so quickly without having more information. Remember, it takes 00:25:42.07\00:25:48.64 good data and good information to make good decisions and health care. So the more 00:25:48.64\00:25:53.82 information your provider has the better he could make good decisions to help you. 00:25:53.82\00:25:59.52 >> There go the testing. I mean that some time all they just run all these tests. But 00:25:59.52\00:26:02.56 those sometimes you really need it. Yeah, this is kind of along the same this is from or 00:26:02.56\00:26:09.26 lean in. She says, is it normal to have irregular heartbeats 00:26:09.26\00:26:22.61 after menopause? >> irregular heartbeats or lean are never quite normal. It's just what's 00:26:22.61\00:26:27.32 causing the irregular heartbeats. After menopause. And in men, you know, menopause, the 00:26:27.32\00:26:36.46 hormones change, testosterone changes and then estrogen levels change and women. Sometimes 00:26:36.46\00:26:42.90 the stress of that transition. We've talked about adrenaline can cause the heart to skip 00:26:42.90\00:26:46.47 and do funny things. But sometimes it can be due to other things as well that we 00:26:46.47\00:26:53.78 talked about, you know, the different things that can cause the heart to pout that. 00:26:53.78\00:26:57.15 Hey, you know, we talked a little bit about pain and stress and dehydration, not 00:26:57.15\00:27:00.78 sleeping. So you probably need to see your doctor. Have them do 00:27:00.78\00:27:05.29 a good history and physical. But there's a chance if you're not passing out, if you're 00:27:05.29\00:27:09.59 breathing, good in all your blood work looks good. That is something that will pass a lot 00:27:09.59\00:27:15.10 of things if it's not other serious medical problems that will help with palpitations is 00:27:15.10\00:27:19.83 reassurance letting someone know that it's not something dangerous. walking programs and 00:27:19.83\00:27:27.01 deep breathing program. Sometimes help making sure you have good nutrition will help. 00:27:27.01\00:27:29.88 But the most important thing as we stress the whole way is is turning to biblical 00:27:29.88\00:27:36.62 prescription. And I want to share Matthew 6.33. Right now. So when you have a problem, 00:27:36.62\00:27:41.52 see key first first, God and his righteousness all these things, including health at 00:27:41.52\00:27:48.10 some point will be added to you. now. Hello question for Doctor 00:27:48.10\00:27:56.54 Markham. Is it OK? >> To take a baby aspirin every day to prevent strokes in strokes, run 00:27:56.54\00:28:01.71 in the family. I've been doing this for years. I recently asked my cardiologist and an 00:28:01.71\00:28:06.75 appointment and he said sure. >> I would agree with that. As long as you don't have a 00:28:06.75\00:28:15.16 reason not to take a baby aspirin. What would be a reason 00:28:15.16\00:28:19.93 not to take a baby aspirin if you're bleeding from the bowels. Sometimes if you're bleeding 00:28:19.93\00:28:25.53 inside your head, we say no. But for most people, they can take a baby aspirin every day. It helps 00:28:25.53\00:28:31.64 lower the risk of stroke and heart disease in that risk of group and the risks outweigh 00:28:31.64\00:28:35.81 the benefits. And that's one thing we need to talk about risk and benefits. Everything 00:28:35.81\00:28:41.98 has risk in life. Everything have benefits and you have to sort of balance that based on 00:28:41.98\00:28:45.69 your individual bully systems. I still find that that's a shortcoming in some positions, 00:28:45.69\00:28:53.29 especially the younger ones. They have this template. They have to go to work. you have 00:28:53.29\00:28:57.50 to do this. This and this and this. There's not enough flexibility. But everyone has 00:28:57.50\00:29:01.64 Billy systems. And when you go against your belief systems, when you go again, sure 00:29:01.64\00:29:07.18 conscious. It creates a phenomena called moral injury and that moral injury damages 00:29:07.18\00:29:14.25 you to a place where it might that moral injury might be worse. The benefit you get 00:29:14.25\00:29:18.05 from a treatment. So that's something this pump people have 00:29:18.05\00:29:23.29 to keep in mind, depending on the individual's situation. The moral injury in your belief 00:29:23.29\00:29:27.86 system is important. Why it's so an interesting how the brain is so connected with our health. 00:29:27.86\00:29:36.94 >> This is from Joe. See. She said came across program at heart Wise Ministries where 00:29:36.94\00:29:39.94 Doctor Markham topped about the health benefits of nuts. My question is, do not have to 00:29:39.94\00:29:47.32 be soaked before eating them to remove its and Ty nutrient properties that's a great And 00:29:47.32\00:29:58.03 I would focus Josie on the big picture. >> You know, God gave 00:29:58.03\00:30:03.26 us fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains in the garden. I don't know if they were originally 00:30:03.26\00:30:08.40 made to be soaked. But if you want to that's great. If you want to eat them and soaked, 00:30:08.40\00:30:12.74 you still get benefits. The bottom line is nuts are good. Even whether the soap or 00:30:12.74\00:30:18.95 whether they're all but just try not to put too much salt with them. Yeah. And and. 00:30:18.95\00:30:25.62 >> when I found out the benefit of nets, I was over. got on Have 00:30:25.62\00:30:32.46 have too much of any good boy really like almonds almond. So my favorite knots, you know I 00:30:32.46\00:30:37.57 really like to put almonds with different things, but I try not to overeat those 2. 00:30:37.57\00:30:42.07 >> have question. Yes. you have pretty doubts. Okay. I would 00:30:42.07\00:30:47.78 like to ask Doctor Markham about Metro prolonged, but Oprah law and the other heart medicine and 00:30:47.78\00:30:52.08 pull up thing low to pay. Do they cause hair loss and memory loss? Any medicine can 00:30:52.08\00:31:03.02 potentially cause a side effect like that, OK? I seen that hope the law cause memory 00:31:03.02\00:31:08.76 loss. Very rare. Okay. It would probably be much more common for 00:31:08.76\00:31:16.77 something else to cause the memory loss. If you're concerned about it. Talk to your physician 00:31:16.77\00:31:25.91 may be he could give you a trial off medicines. Are you something else if the risk benefit was 00:31:25.91\00:31:30.89 acceptable? But remember, we used that Oprah law to control adrenaline and the heart rate 00:31:30.89\00:31:35.96 fast and blood pressure. So and we use a blow to PM to help control blood pressure 00:31:35.96\00:31:43.77 and sometimes it scoring, whether it's a little memory or a lot of memory, the doctor 00:31:43.77\00:31:46.47 might not want to do that. So each individual is you have to take it in the context. But it 00:31:46.47\00:31:55.38 is possible to have the side effects, though. These are very rare and I've not seen 00:31:55.38\00:32:00.18 him that much in 30 years, but it's much more common for something else to be causing 00:32:00.18\00:32:05.79 it. The number one cause of daytime fatigue and forgetful. And this is just not getting 00:32:05.79\00:32:10.39 enough sleep and water. And those are some biblical purse prescriptions. Rest drinking 00:32:10.39\00:32:17.77 water that are out there. You might want to do some of those things. First, then talk to 00:32:17.77\00:32:21.24 your doctor about your concerns. And then they can discussed with 00:32:21.24\00:32:26.88 you about the risk of benefits of continuing or giving the trial off the Mets now sometimes 00:32:26.88\00:32:30.45 show we all take a person off of medicine and if nothing gets better, all say it definitely 00:32:30.45\00:32:35.42 was not the medicine and I'll put it back on it. Yeah. >> But now speaking of Frist, 00:32:35.42\00:32:40.76 would you speak just a moment to sleep apnea and how seriously 00:32:40.76\00:32:45.36 May I'm glad you brought that up. Sleep apnea is one of the hidden stressors that most 00:32:45.36\00:32:51.83 people don't even realize. They have think about it. If you're sleeping at night and you read 00:32:51.83\00:32:59.74 like this. You don't get enough oxygen. If you don't get enough oxygen yourselves can't rest if 00:32:59.74\00:33:06.68 your cells can't rest your adrenaline and cortisol level goes up, it increases your 00:33:06.68\00:33:11.59 chance of having heart disease and without rest, you you age quicker, so sleep apnea can 00:33:11.59\00:33:18.09 trigger all of these bad things to happen, whether it be a chill 00:33:18.09\00:33:23.16 from elation, high blood pressure, cardiovascular people that have sleep apnea, usually 00:33:23.16\00:33:29.00 meant a poorly. Some of them have problems having accidents. They have more inflammation in 00:33:29.00\00:33:34.58 the body. So sleep apnea is one of these core. If you don't get enough rest, if you don't get 00:33:34.58\00:33:38.65 enough water, if you don't get enough oxygen, you just not going to do well and sleep at 00:33:38.65\00:33:42.55 news at the top of the list. Lots of people now if they lose weight, some people can can 00:33:42.55\00:33:49.09 improve it. But we have simple devices now that we can treat it with and that have improved 00:33:49.09\00:33:54.20 a lot over the last 30 years. And I've got a few people that get on these and 6. I never 00:33:54.20\00:33:58.07 knew I could feel so good again and well. My blood pressure went 00:33:58.07\00:34:04.41 a man died in energy. I want to exercise now. But remember, just because you might have it 00:34:04.41\00:34:08.78 don't feel like you're a bad person. You know, sometimes we just have bad genes and things 00:34:08.78\00:34:13.18 happen to us and God can use the R health illnesses. No matter what happens to bring 00:34:13.18\00:34:17.89 us closer to him. You know, Paul wanted to be healed. He said, no, I'm not going to 00:34:17.89\00:34:21.86 kill you. I'm using this so you can bring glory to me. My grace is sufficient also. So 00:34:21.86\00:34:27.23 maybe God using sleep apnea, but maybe is also using physicians to help treat this. 00:34:27.23\00:34:31.57 So you could bring even more glory to God. I don't know, but sleep. That is a big deal. 00:34:31.57\00:34:36.07 Yeah, it is case >> it's in your opinion. What is the best Rima 00:34:36.07\00:34:45.58 TE for joint stiffness and pain, which I think is due to inflammation. Is there best home 00:34:45.58\00:34:52.89 remedy or over-the-counter prescription. >> Okay. They want in my opinion. So the best 00:34:52.89\00:34:56.12 remedy for joints stuff, stiffness, his movement. Okay. Motion is low moving. There you 00:34:56.12\00:35:04.33 go. So I think that that's my opinion. I think that's the best single thing to do when our 00:35:04.33\00:35:10.31 bones are joint start getting old, they can't move. You. If we sit too long, we're going to get 00:35:10.31\00:35:14.01 stiffed and let's face it tonight. When we get out of this chair, all of us are 00:35:14.01\00:35:19.25 going to be staff here. And but if we were moving, we wouldn't 00:35:19.25\00:35:23.25 get stiff is quick soak. So if you don't use it, you lose it. So motion is very important. So 00:35:23.25\00:35:27.26 that's one thing. Some other things I've seen people do that will help with with this problem 00:35:27.26\00:35:33.73 is make sure they're hydrated. Remember, we need hydration for 00:35:33.73\00:35:35.86 things. If you get dehydrated, things get step as well. Physical therapy can sometimes 00:35:35.86\00:35:41.00 be good cause sometimes posture can do it. So if we are the muscles are in good positions. 00:35:41.00\00:35:46.21 Sometimes we don't get as much stiff because we don't put things in positions that make 00:35:46.21\00:35:49.34 them stuff. Heat can help, OK, he can sometimes help. There's some natural things that 00:35:49.34\00:35:57.69 people have tried of that probably are worth trying. If if they do, the other things 00:35:57.69\00:36:01.12 are simple. First, Tamara is one that's out there. That's over the counter. That helps a 00:36:01.12\00:36:06.43 lot of people. But if you're taking, but then yes, you your hair. know, you have to be 00:36:06.43\00:36:12.00 careful with it, OK, you can. But you have to be careful because it could make the 00:36:12.00\00:36:15.50 blood change. So you can take it. But you have to be careful Ginger is another natural 00:36:15.50\00:36:21.54 remedy that can somehow help. And remember, everyone is so different. You know, some 00:36:21.54\00:36:25.81 things will help some people and other things won't help. There's I've seen a few people 00:36:25.81\00:36:31.39 use CBD oil and they put it over a stiff joints and it helps. But 00:36:31.39\00:36:35.22 he asked me the thing that helps the most movement helps the most 00:36:35.22\00:36:42.60 and stiffness. >> And, you know, I heard something that I use quite often and that is that the 00:36:42.60\00:36:47.50 American arthritis Arthritis Association says that before. >> pound you're overweight. 00:36:47.50\00:36:55.51 Oh, yeah. That's for extra pounds on your joints for extra pounds of pressure. So 00:36:55.51\00:37:02.45 if you're just 25 pounds that's 100 extra pounds of pressure on 00:37:02.45\00:37:12.93 your joints. And I think that that's something that. Wait can affect your heart. It can affect 00:37:12.93\00:37:20.54 your joints and everything. Everything champ another. I have one more moment that I 00:37:20.54\00:37:24.81 have here. >> Doctor, Markham about 2 years hurt by growing on 00:37:24.81\00:37:31.45 the right side. Because of a lot of physical labor. But the point where if I'm doing light 00:37:31.45\00:37:38.65 work around the house, it wells up. Get very painful take 2 ibuprofen and have to 00:37:38.65\00:37:45.19 lay down approximately an hour. The swelling goes down and I find can I get this to 00:37:45.19\00:37:51.53 the little known but not doing anything for a while. >> I will 00:37:51.53\00:37:55.90 see. I would see your doctor right away. Good thinking about this. Right side, groin. I'm 00:37:55.90\00:38:03.78 thinking about hernia. Inguinal hernias are very common. They might present like this. Go see 00:38:03.78\00:38:11.65 your doctor. Get some testing done. Evaluate this. Now, if it's something that's been 00:38:11.65\00:38:16.99 inflamed or pulled that some muscle, there's a chance that it could heal. But this has been 00:38:16.99\00:38:22.40 going on for a long time now. The ibuprofen treats the symptom, not the cause. But if 00:38:22.40\00:38:29.07 you did have a inguinal hernia or something to that nature, that's something that we can 00:38:29.07\00:38:33.81 take care of. And, you know, put a mesh an and it's something we 00:38:33.81\00:38:37.38 see fairly common in medical practice. So I was here, doctor, you know. >> OK, I hear as we've 00:38:37.38\00:38:48.46 gotten good prescriptions that were going to get good government it's this question is 00:38:48.46\00:38:53.76 doesn't have a name. If you have prostate cancer with a PSA of 7 no symptoms. But the biopsy 00:38:53.76\00:39:03.37 definitely had cancer. Most of the segments. >> What To Jack 00:39:03.37\00:39:09.58 radiation surgery, OK? >> So, it says they've changed their that pretty much be gun. 00:39:09.58\00:39:18.62 >> We just want to know what you would do, OK? And this is very based again on context, 00:39:18.62\00:39:23.49 OK? Some individuals, older individuals, you treat different 00:39:23.49\00:39:31.40 than younger individuals. Okay. Because sometimes prostate cancer in older individuals are 00:39:31.40\00:39:37.44 is moving so slow that the odds are something else. Well, take us to our rest before that. So 00:39:37.44\00:39:46.95 age plays a factor. I don't know the age. Also spread plays a factor. Another factor 00:39:46.95\00:39:55.92 that comes into play as your individual belief systems. Okay. 00:39:55.92\00:40:03.73 Every that the specialist said does this is called urologist. Okay. I'm a cardiologist. But 00:40:03.73\00:40:08.14 what I see I've seen everything from taking out the prostate to giving a chemical that knocks 00:40:08.14\00:40:13.17 down testosterone called Loop Ron. I've also proton beam radiation. I've seen 00:40:13.17\00:40:21.15 chemotherapy seeds. I've seen everything. So there's a gamut of treatments that each 00:40:21.15\00:40:25.59 individual urologist is comfortable with and using. So I can't really answer your 00:40:25.59\00:40:30.93 question because I don't know your age. I don't really know the but said, of course, we 00:40:30.93\00:40:36.43 know that the nutrition is important plant based diets are something that's very 00:40:36.43\00:40:41.47 important. I don't know the progression if a PSA state at 7.5 for 5 years that might 00:40:41.47\00:40:49.24 make me feel better. That if it's gone up from 2 to 7 happened 6 months. So all of 00:40:49.24\00:40:54.85 those details your urologist might want to help you with. But one of the things I do 00:40:54.85\00:40:58.65 want to leave you with today. Is remember. Modern medicine. It has its place, but try not 00:40:58.65\00:41:08.73 to let your disease defined who you Okay. You're a child of God that God to find who 00:41:08.73\00:41:16.50 you are and not a disease learned learned and pray about it and he's going to take you 00:41:16.50\00:41:22.74 where you need to go. He's going to help you decide the right path in your way. But 00:41:22.74\00:41:27.18 but don't be so. You know, worried about things that it takes away. Your joy. And I 00:41:27.18\00:41:34.96 seen that a lot because, you know, we're going you're going to be healed in time and God's 00:41:34.96\00:41:40.00 going help you find the right positions that will take you. But those are some questions I 00:41:40.00\00:41:43.06 would ask. How fast is the progress and whether it's got outside the prostate in your 00:41:43.06\00:41:47.57 bones and your age and your specific area in certain parts of the country, they have 00:41:47.57\00:41:54.11 technology and some things work better like proton beam. They have that in some places. 00:41:54.11\00:41:57.61 Other places don't have that. Some people are against taking testosterone, suppressing 00:41:57.61\00:42:04.32 their against taking Loop Rock. Some people do not want to have the prostate removed. 00:42:04.32\00:42:09.26 So you Billy system in quality of life is also important in the decision-making process. 00:42:09.26\00:42:15.33 And you call that moral injury if you go against your your conscience and your 00:42:15.33\00:42:18.80 relationship with God that can be damaged. And I saw that a lot during the pandemic. Some 00:42:18.80\00:42:25.57 people did not want to take the vaccine. And yet that they were 00:42:25.57\00:42:29.91 pressured in that pressure than the pressure they took the vaccine against their conscience 00:42:29.91\00:42:35.15 and now that they've had more injury and that's damage their brains, the Syrians are 00:42:35.15\00:42:40.62 conscious. Remember that tax? Yeah, I don't want to see your conscience, but God gave us 00:42:40.62\00:42:44.09 free choice for a reason. It was so important that he let Satan do what he wanted. So 00:42:44.09\00:42:48.86 God's given us a brain to choose him to choose other ways of life 00:42:48.86\00:42:53.57 with that is something very important when that's taken away from us. It damages us 00:42:53.57\00:42:58.64 physically and hurts our health moral injury. >> And I'm going say one quick thing and we're 00:42:58.64\00:43:05.71 going get 70's typical prescriptions. You know, we need to learn to be more tolerant of 00:43:05.71\00:43:12.69 one another because what you've just said about more injury, sometimes we if somebody doesn't 00:43:12.69\00:43:18.89 agree with our opinion, say you're for the vaccine or you're against the back seat. All the 00:43:18.89\00:43:23.83 sudden, it's like an all out war and his height. What? So people we kissed me to realize 00:43:23.83\00:43:29.57 that week. >> All. God did give s. >> Free more free will. gave 00:43:29.57\00:43:36.85 us the moral choice and we hope that we're using it right right. And it is a matter of 00:43:36.85\00:43:44.02 education. It's a matter of personal perspective. But with got equipped and to and we 00:43:44.02\00:43:49.86 don't want to let those are medical issues and our medical things. Take us away from what 00:43:49.86\00:43:55.83 we're supposed to be doing. Focusing on the big picture, a 00:43:55.83\00:44:00.07 seeking. >> First see key first, you know, so that that's what just go from there. But think 00:44:00.07\00:44:06.17 that's a great question. That's why these medical issues do have 00:44:06.17\00:44:11.18 a belief component. That's what you have to find physicians and people that that that that you 00:44:11.18\00:44:14.95 can work with that won't say, oh, this is the No, it's not the only way you have a say in 00:44:14.95\00:44:18.55 your life, too. >> Man, OK, this is from our dear friends, let 00:44:18.55\00:44:26.43 and Michael Harris in Scottsdale, Arizona High. then I'm like, whoa, and here is 00:44:26.43\00:44:33.94 there typical prescription good proper 17. 22 a Merry heart Good. Like a medicine. 00:44:33.94\00:44:41.51 >> I love that one. And you know, when you're happy and you laugh, I hope everyone I'm 00:44:41.51\00:44:45.58 not good at telling jokes. Otherwise I would. But you make and orphans, you know, if 00:44:45.58\00:44:48.88 you feel good. So I think we don't laugh enough, you know, but, you know, just funny 00:44:48.88\00:44:55.26 things that happen, you know, and you know, and and we need to laugh. We need to be happy. 00:44:55.26\00:44:59.16 We need to have joy. And the more we do that, you know, and same with thanks. You know, in 00:44:59.16\00:45:03.83 all things give thanks. It's hard to feel bad when you're laughing. Giving thanks a hard 00:45:03.83\00:45:08.34 thing to feel that. >> And you miss something. Joy is Joyce 00:45:08.34\00:45:16.51 relationship with Lord. Happy News can depend on our show comes to emotion, something him. 00:45:16.51\00:45:19.48 I mean, if I've if I've just lost child, I'm not going be happy, but I can still have a 00:45:19.48\00:45:26.35 heart of joy. I can still have to listen. Hope that I'm going to be united with that child for 00:45:26.35\00:45:32.29 eternity. And so it joy is the joy of the Lord is our string. There's a good guy. I guess, 00:45:32.29\00:45:40.27 you know, I should some icy look up that word, Mary, in seeing the original language 00:45:40.27\00:45:45.11 was that with more Mary or Joy? >> boy, I bet avoid that. They 00:45:45.11\00:45:49.44 were referring to a joyful heart cause. You know, there's going to be motions coming go. 00:45:49.44\00:45:53.38 But I think that joy, that comes from that. I think that's a good 00:45:53.38\00:45:57.79 point. of I-10, the joy of the Lord is a strict, OK, here's another fun. First Corinthians 00:45:57.79\00:46:04.43 10, 30. Why not? Therefore, what ever you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the 00:46:04.43\00:46:12.00 glory of God. And this comes from Janice in Ontario, Canada, that that is one of my tax. 00:46:12.00\00:46:17.37 You know, whatever we do, you know, but you remember, it's it's it's whatever we do with 00:46:17.37\00:46:23.14 our time. With with our thoughts with the things we put into my 00:46:23.14\00:46:30.29 whatever we do. We that's that's our goal. But remember. It's a process. You know, it's a 00:46:30.29\00:46:37.43 process of getting to do all those things. The glory of God. You know, he has to work with us 00:46:37.43\00:46:41.10 and for us and through us, the Holy Spirit. >> I let me have 00:46:41.10\00:46:49.84 this. This came up a couple asking is what's good source of vitamin B, 12 for people who are 00:46:49.84\00:46:53.07 Mitch Terrence. >> Sometimes people get it in for to fights. 00:46:53.07\00:47:03.75 Soy products. You know, you can get him fortified soy some different products have 00:47:03.75\00:47:07.32 fortified the 12. I eat pretty healthy. I take a supplement, you know, so I I think that the 00:47:07.32\00:47:15.43 easiest thing, if you can't get it in the soil, you know, if you can't get it, you know, in 00:47:15.43\00:47:18.90 that just to take a supplement, you don't have to take very much 00:47:18.90\00:47:24.21 a Little B. 12 goes a long way in the body. So you don't need very much of it to go a long 00:47:24.21\00:47:27.34 way. But if you if you don't want to take that, you might want to look for soy milk or 00:47:27.34\00:47:33.68 something that has the 12 added to that that might help some. >> It seems like there's a lot 00:47:33.68\00:47:38.65 of people that I'm running into. People who need make. have low pro team. And people 00:47:38.65\00:47:46.66 have been taking iron and then they take too much I mean, the varied and just this is a 00:47:46.66\00:47:56.54 context question. You know, because when you're in a neck, you want to know why, OK? 00:47:56.54\00:48:02.68 These pernicious anemia, there's bleeding any of those bone marrow, not making enough 00:48:02.68\00:48:06.98 blood. So the key to is understanding why. >> If you're 00:48:06.98\00:48:11.55 bleeding, you know the irons out going to solve that problem. If your iron deficient, yes, it 00:48:11.55\00:48:17.49 would help that. But there's a certain level that if you get too much, you get iron 00:48:17.49\00:48:21.13 overload. We have a process called our local team a crow says meaning iron. So too much 00:48:21.13\00:48:28.14 on is not. So that's why you going to need to see a provider. They can help guide 00:48:28.14\00:48:30.64 you through these things and try not to just follow whatever 00:48:30.64\00:48:37.28 people see on the Internet because no one statement out there doesn't follow for 00:48:37.28\00:48:41.25 everyone that I want to see a little bit about Internet Madison. You can't believe 00:48:41.25\00:48:45.75 everything. You hear him and K just because someone says it doesn't mean it's true for you. 00:48:45.75\00:48:51.89 That might be true for some people. But that doesn't mean it's true for you. And the 00:48:51.89\00:48:56.16 supplement industry. Be careful with that half supplements out there don't even have the things 00:48:56.16\00:48:59.90 that they claim in it in it. So you have to find a good source. Remember, they're not 00:48:59.90\00:49:05.44 regulated. We looked at some supplements recently the things that are in it aren't 00:49:05.44\00:49:10.78 even you know, they claim it's not even there. They just can put whatever they want in. So 00:49:10.78\00:49:15.25 you have to get a good source whenever you get some of that's why try to put some 00:49:15.25\00:49:18.52 people if you don't, you don't need supplements if you don't have deficiencies, OK? But the 00:49:18.52\00:49:25.29 most common deficiencies I see are the vitamin D getting the most of the D 3 products. A 00:49:25.29\00:49:29.56 pretty safe. Okay for strict vegans and K the be the B vitamins. And you can 00:49:29.56\00:49:37.54 supplement that. But for most else, if you eat a plant based diet used only out, don't have 00:49:37.54\00:49:42.61 a bad medical condition, usually don't need supplementation. 00:49:42.61\00:49:47.58 >> And so talk to the idea that supplements can enter act. Yes with Medicaid. Yes, 00:49:47.58\00:49:54.02 for scripture, I'm gonna put it very simple. Here. Everything 00:49:54.02\00:49:58.29 interacts with everything. Okay. Even whether you think it's going to work, they call that a 00:49:58.29\00:50:02.66 placebo effect. I give a person a pill that has nothing in it and they believe in it one 3rd 00:50:02.66\00:50:07.10 of the time, it's going to work that because they believe so. You believe that's what we 00:50:07.10\00:50:11.77 talked about. Billy Systems are important. but we have receptor 00:50:11.77\00:50:18.38 Ys in our cells in our body. And with we bombard them, let's say in an orchestra we have 100 00:50:18.38\00:50:26.22 French warns okay with the French ones are going to drown out the trumpets. Okay, Wolf, we 00:50:26.22\00:50:30.93 take anything and nobody even if it's something good, it can 00:50:30.93\00:50:34.10 Biden per sceptres interceptors are are not getting what they need in the body. It can be a 00:50:34.10\00:50:38.80 bad thing so you can have too much of a good thing at times. You know, and I know it. We 00:50:38.80\00:50:43.57 talked about water. You can drink too much water. You can get too much rest. You can 00:50:43.57\00:50:49.24 exercise too much. You can sleep too much. You can eat too many vegetables. You can take too 00:50:49.24\00:50:54.88 many supplements. So that's why it's about balance based on, you 00:50:54.88\00:50:58.39 know, biblical prescriptions. Working with your provider, seeing the big picture working 00:50:58.39\00:51:05.06 with your belief systems. And that's why I think that the all of this, the only way it comes 00:51:05.06\00:51:11.90 together is food. The word of God. That's the only way it makes sense to me because why 00:51:11.90\00:51:15.74 would someone you know, one at? All. Eyes are so transit here. You know, we think about eternal 00:51:15.74\00:51:22.18 life. We know that, you know, our lives are just very short here. You know it when we see 00:51:22.18\00:51:27.25 the big picture and we see how much we have to look forward to. Sometimes we don't want to 00:51:27.25\00:51:32.99 get distracted by by things that the minutiae in the world that so easily distracts us 00:51:32.99\00:51:39.36 from seeing the big picture so so that's why when everyone, you know, to the focus on that 00:51:39.36\00:51:43.47 today, that's the key to health is Christ a man. Let me go through this. we have 00:51:43.47\00:51:48.37 another question on it. I escaped. These are words that you use or terms. You used a 00:51:48.37\00:51:56.18 lot. >> Really. Fantastic terms. My opinion. Moral injury. 00:51:56.18\00:52:05.92 Individual belief system. Quality of life. Don't let disease define who you are. 00:52:05.92\00:52:15.16 Balance process. And then over here on the other side, you have 00:52:15.16\00:52:22.57 an equal sign call biblical prescription. That kind of sums it all up. Yeah, I mean, these 00:52:22.57\00:52:29.11 are great words that you kept using, roll over and over and over again. And I would sit your 00:52:29.11\00:52:35.28 trial. Term, used a lot. What does it all mean? Gradually kind of story. You know, all this 00:52:35.28\00:52:45.79 means fish. This means this. But biblical prescription. >> And 00:52:45.79\00:52:52.93 and saying that it dawned on me, we only have a few minutes left. We want to let you know how to 00:52:52.93\00:52:58.81 get this 7 week training course it will pull medical prescriptions for life or any of 00:52:58.81\00:53:07.52 doctor Markham's books. You can't go to. He is website. They buckle prescriptions dot com. 00:53:07.52\00:53:17.16 They're vocal prescription stop com and on that website, you'll find all of the books and the 00:53:17.16\00:53:24.20 information. But I do. But late that this particular 7 week 00:53:24.20\00:53:35.58 course. what an evangelistic tool question, how you can get people who are going to come 00:53:35.58\00:53:38.55 necessary quote, unquote Bible study. Yeah. Who will come here gets my vote, but they're 00:53:38.55\00:53:43.69 they're interested in health. That's great. Here's something that's interesting. I don't see 00:53:43.69\00:53:51.29 name. This is good evening. And I'm just going to do this quickly because it's good Monday 00:53:51.29\00:53:56.36 and that's inspector Mark and sister brother Quinn. This is one of my most favorite 00:53:56.36\00:54:01.74 Scriptures. I don't think it's a scripture, but this is a because they heard it cited 00:54:01.74\00:54:07.88 when watching a Christian movie. Maybe remember the goal. I bet 00:54:07.88\00:54:17.39 this is that was the first Corinthians. So it was a scripture. I think remember the 00:54:17.39\00:54:22.39 goal? I didn't see the movie. What a that some support you're talking about right now. That's 00:54:22.39\00:54:29.46 the big picture. Tell us how. God has led U. To this point. He he keeps expanding your 00:54:29.46\00:54:41.64 ministry. Your understanding. Why are you doing what you're doing in 2 minutes? Tell me. 00:54:41.64\00:54:50.32 Well, I feel. I'm hoping that 00:55:01.93\00:55:12.64 this this is my calling as well. Even though all a business coming here. That's 00:55:12.64\00:55:18.45 OK, but but someone needs to speak out about this. >> And be bold about it. And 2 00:55:18.45\00:55:25.09 to stand up for what's right. And not sugarcoat things. And I know there's been lots of 00:55:25.09\00:55:31.09 arrows thrown at me. Especially through the you tube. And 00:55:31.09\00:55:36.60 there's been, you know, different things happen. But in the long run. If alongside with 00:55:36.60\00:55:44.47 crises working. I just praying for even more of the Holy Spirit as time goes on. So I can do 00:55:44.47\00:55:50.95 what's right. But but I want in my heart, I feel like God moving need to be a spokesman for for 00:55:50.95\00:55:59.12 him in that one of the spokesman, there's many others out there that's doing great 00:55:59.12\00:56:01.86 stuff. One of the spokesman and health message and everyone has 00:56:01.86\00:56:06.06 a different approach. And I'm hoping that this approach will bring glory to God and bring 00:56:06.06\00:56:12.20 people to the kingdom. >> love it that you're already going out into and become the 00:56:12.20\00:56:18.87 nation's yeah.
