00:13 We're so glad that you have joined us this evening 00:15 that first hour just went by in a real hurry. 00:17 Why? 00:19 Well, because we're giving honor and glory to Jesus Christ 00:21 for what He has done through your ministry, 00:23 but we're praising the Lord 00:25 that He's actually captain of this ship. 00:26 And so as we're given reports of what God 00:29 is doing through the Ministry of 3ABN, 00:30 and how the Lord is blessing and expanding this ministry, 00:34 all glory goes to Him. 00:36 We've done some rearranging our people here 00:39 on the set our 3ABN family we'll introduce them to you 00:42 in just a moment, but one of the things 00:44 that we want to reiterate the second hour is 3ABN 00:47 Fall Camp Meeting is coming up... 00:48 Yay! 00:50 Very soon. Yes, yay it's right. 00:51 We're looking forward to that because we're gonna have 00:53 a real live in house audience. 00:56 And that audience will be you, right? 00:58 We're hoping that 00:59 you're committing to come in here 01:01 to 3ABN Southern Illinois. 01:02 We know that we're kind of out in the middle of nowhere, 01:05 but that's kind of good, right? 01:06 In the midst of this pandemic is actually very nice. 01:08 We could be out in nature breathing the fresh air, 01:10 we're out here in the country 01:11 if you've never been here before. 01:13 And it's a great place to be. 01:14 So we're looking forward to you being here 01:16 at Fall Camp Meeting. 01:17 And you have the details about that... 01:19 Fall Camp Meeting, I'm excited 01:20 because we love camp meeting time, 01:22 we get to interact with you, you are our family. 01:25 And we love spending time with you. 01:27 We love meeting new or becoming reacquainted. 01:30 So the dates for our Fall Camp Meeting 01:33 are September 23-25. 01:36 Those dates again it starts Thursday night, September 23 01:39 goes through September 25. 01:41 And you can go to 3abnCampMeeting.tv 01:45 and you can look up the schedule, 01:47 you can see the speakers, 01:49 and the lineup and everything that will be taking place. 01:52 The theme, of course, the overarching theme 01:54 is Something Better. 01:56 Pastor James Rafferty, who is our new member 01:59 of the 3ABN team, he and his wife Rise. 02:04 He's our 3ABN Director of Discipleship and his theme 02:06 will be focused on the Book of Hebrews, something better, 02:09 you know, in Hebrews, we see that Jesus 02:11 is a better High Priest, 02:13 and a better sacrifice and a better covenant. 02:16 And we see all of those things explained and opened up 02:20 in the Book of Hebrews, 02:21 and he's gonna be focusing specifically on that. 02:24 Dr. Ben Carson will be here for the church service. 02:27 And he'll be bringing us the divine worship hour. 02:29 We're gonna hear from Shelley Quinn 02:31 and Pastor Kenny Shelton and who else, 02:35 Pastor John Lomacang and Pastor Ryan Day, 02:37 we're gonna have incredible music... 02:39 Sabbath School Panel? 02:41 And Sabbath School Panel? 02:42 I think we're gonna have Sabbath School Panel too, 02:44 you know we need that. 02:45 We might even have some Bible Q and A's 02:48 from you at home where you can send us your questions 02:50 for the Sabbath School Panel. 02:52 So just want to encourage you. 02:54 We have besides the incredible meetings and music 02:58 and fellowship, there is free meals, 03:01 not free to 3ABN 03:02 'cause we're paying for it but it's free to you. 03:05 The meals will be complimentary. 03:06 Melody Prettyman-Caviness will be doing the meals. 03:09 The first hour, I said it was Thursday, 03:11 Friday Sabbath, but that's wrong, 03:13 the meals actually start Friday morning. 03:15 So if you go online, the menu is online, 03:17 so you can check out that in the schedule. 03:20 So the meals will be Friday and Sabbath. 03:23 You can bring your RV, you can give us a call, 03:25 if you want to reserve your RV spot, 03:27 those are free for you to come and reserve. 03:30 Give us a call at (618) 627-4651, 03:35 or you can go online and check out local area 03:38 motel hotel listings, or you can bring a tent 03:41 and do it the old-fashioned way 03:42 as I used to do when I was a kid. 03:44 Yeah, you know, we mentioned the first hour or two 03:45 we have a bathhouse there too. 03:47 So if you're tenting 03:48 there's a bathhouse that's close by, 03:49 but we also have some children's meetings. 03:51 And we haven't introduced everyone here, 03:53 but we have Aunt Francine with us too, 03:55 we'll just talk to her in just a moment. 03:56 We have children's meetings, 03:57 Jill mentioned the complimentary food. 04:00 This is also fun too. 04:01 Is that Sunday morning we're still having 04:02 a pancake breakfast, right? 04:04 Oh, yes. 04:05 Oh, yes, that's kind of a tradition 04:07 now for a number of years. 04:08 If you've come to 3ABN Camp Meetings spring fall, 04:09 Sunday morning, we have a pancake breakfast, 04:12 that's a lot of fun and it's just a great time 04:14 of fellowship and spending time together, 04:16 so we hope that you can make it. 04:18 If you can't though, you can always join us on 3ABN, 04:21 we'll be airing all the programs, 04:23 all the messages, 04:24 the music hours on 3ABN or on 3ABN Radio. 04:27 But we sure hope that you'll mark that date 04:29 that Jill mentioned September 23-25. 04:33 Yeah, so looking forward to that. 04:35 Should we talk about... You're gonna say something? 04:36 Let's talk about our family, 04:38 let's introduce the family we got here. 04:40 Who's sitting next to me is Bruce Chance. 04:42 He's the Manager of 3ABN Donations Center. 04:44 And, Bruce, we're just so glad to have you here. 04:46 I'm glad to be here. 04:48 And tell us in a nutshell 04:49 what is the 3ABN Donations Center? 04:50 What does that mean? 04:52 It's another way of people supporting the ministry 04:55 through means of physical items that they could send 04:59 and we turn them into money for the Lord's work. 05:01 Amen. 05:03 You're doing an amazing job. 05:04 And we're looking forward to hearing 05:06 what God is doing in that department. 05:08 Sitting next to Bruce is Mr. Jeff Doerr 05:10 who's the Director of 3ABN Planned Giving 05:12 and Trust Services. 05:14 You stepped in that role, how long has it been now? 05:17 Back in February. 05:18 Okay, so it's been a few months, 05:19 you're doing an amazing job. 05:21 And we're just so glad that you're here. 05:22 Well, thank you, Jill. 05:23 And it's been a blessing to be able to talk 05:26 with all the people that have called in 05:28 and have documents here with 3ABN. 05:29 We have a lot of people that have repeat documents, 05:33 continue to call and we serve them. 05:35 And we've had a lot of new people come 05:37 and establish documents with 3ABN. 05:39 So it is very important to support the Ministry of God 05:44 and also planning for their future 05:46 as for their family and for them as well. 05:48 Amen. That's right, Jeff. 05:49 And I also want to bring up because the first hour 05:51 we talked about ASI and 3ABN being there with the 3ABN team 05:55 in the exhibit area, and, of course, 05:56 we're doing the production there as well, 05:58 but, Jeff, you and your wife are gonna be there 06:00 for the first time. 06:01 Absolutely. Looking forward to it. 06:02 So if you want to meet Jeff and his wife face to face, 06:05 you have the opportunity if you're in the Orlando, 06:08 Florida area. 06:09 And ASI is when again, the dates? 06:11 August 4 through 7, ASI will be there. 06:15 And the theme, of course, is the Three Angels' Messages, 06:17 which we're all about Into All The World. 06:20 And the nice thing is on Sabbath, 06:23 you don't have to register, you can come 06:24 and visit the exhibits and go to the meeting. 06:26 So that's an amazing opportunity. 06:28 So we hope you come because we'll have the opportunity 06:30 to meet you a lot of the team will be there. 06:31 And, of course, like we mentioned 06:32 Jeff and Charletta. 06:34 It's just a great time of fellowship, Jeff, 06:35 so you'll enjoy your experience there, I know. 06:37 I'm looking very forward to it, yes. 06:38 Amen. Amen. 06:40 Going around the table here we have Aunt Francine Bergmann 06:42 who is the General Manager of 3ABN Kids Network 06:45 sitting next to Jason Bergmann, who is our CFO and Treasurer. 06:49 And we're just so glad to have you both here tonight. 06:51 Thank you. 06:53 We're delighted to be here so... 06:54 It's always a pleasure. 06:56 That's great. 06:57 And, Aunt Francine, tell us about with the kids programs 06:59 that we have when we talk about our camp meeting, 07:02 you know, the end of September, we have meetings for adults, 07:05 and we have music for adults, 07:06 but we also have things for the children. 07:08 We do, starting on Friday morning, 07:11 we have some programs entitled for the kids 07:14 just for them ages zero all the way up 07:17 to 13 and a little bit plus. 07:19 And so we have NAPS coming again. 07:22 And there'll be helping out with the older ones. 07:24 So we're gonna take NAPS. 07:25 No, this is... 07:31 NAPS is an acronym. 07:32 National Association for the Prevention 07:34 of Starvation. 07:35 I think you're right. 07:37 And so, we have a team of kids coming in, 07:39 thank you for helping Aunt Francine, 07:41 but, and so they'll be helping out with the kids. 07:43 And so we have some starting at zero, 07:46 but we asked some of the parents to stay by 07:48 when they're that young just because of diapers 07:50 and different things like that. 07:52 But now we're having a wonderful time. 07:54 And I hope the kids come so please bring the kids, 07:57 I want to see them. 07:58 And we'll have a little gifts and some crafts 07:59 and a lot of fun things. 08:01 So we're looking forward to seeing them. 08:03 So bring them on. 08:05 That's wonderful to have kids meetings. 08:06 It is, you know, yeah, I'm sorry, I interrupted you. 08:10 Well, just about camping as a family. 08:12 And that was just great because, 08:14 you know, you can bring the kids and, of course, 08:15 we do have some of the older kids 08:17 sometimes attend there 08:18 with their parents and actually the main meetings as well, 08:19 but if you want your kids to attend 08:21 some of children's meetings, 08:22 thank you for your leadership 08:24 and for providing great activities for the kids 08:26 to enjoy camp meeting as well. 08:28 As a kid I always enjoyed going to camp meeting. 08:30 I grew up in West Virginia. 08:32 So is Valley Vista is where we went for camp meeting 08:34 and I always enjoyed the kids meeting so it's a highlight. 08:37 Absolutely. 08:38 We want the kids to have fun and know Jesus. 08:40 So that's going to be the highlight of it all. 08:42 Yeah. Praise the Lord. 08:43 So tell us what else is going on in the Kids Network? 08:46 Oh, yes. 08:47 I know a lot of things are going on... 08:48 So much going on. 08:50 I don't even know where to start, 08:51 but we have had a little, yeah, 08:54 some of you already know about the safari hat 08:56 that I wanted to say that, 08:57 you know, some of you didn't get it. 08:59 And some of you were interested in that, but recently Cinda, 09:03 Miss Cinda has put out the cookbook. 09:05 So if you haven't had a chance to see that, it's wonderful. 09:09 And again, you can look on our online store 09:12 or call (618) 627-4651. 09:16 And you can place an order and there's little ginger 09:19 and she is so adorable. 09:22 Anyway, these make great gifts. 09:24 So I just want to invite, 09:27 this can be another witnessing tool too. 09:30 So I just wanted to say this is something 09:31 that has recently come out these two 09:33 and I've had a lot of grandparents just say, 09:37 you know, I want something for my kids. 09:39 And this is age appropriate. 09:42 And even these cookbooks, for example, 09:45 we can find the recipes on the 3ABN+, you can even, 09:50 so if you see a particular recipe you want, 09:52 you can actually look for that particular program 09:54 right on there. 09:56 So that's something that's going to be fun 09:57 for the kids to do. 09:59 So we've had some wonderful things 10:01 going on at the Kids Network. 10:02 Of course, we're still going on with the Detectives 10:05 of Truth these lessons, but recently something happened 10:10 that was made my heart, sorry, 10:14 and some of you may know we hired Kids Network 10:19 assistant, sorry, and it was Christina Benquinago, 10:24 and unfortunately she passed away unexpectedly. 10:27 And so that has been something 10:30 that's been hard. 10:33 And I was looking forward to seeing her, 10:36 but anyway, God is in control through it all. 10:40 And we ask that, 10:42 God is with the family as well so, 10:45 but I'm thankful for the opportunity 10:47 that Christina brought, she brought a lot of stories, 10:49 enthusiasm, so... 10:52 And a lot of joy... Lots of joy. 10:54 Oh, she was just fun to be around. 10:56 The energy she had. 10:58 It's a really painful time 'cause it was so unexpected. 11:02 And she and her husband recently moved here 11:05 and so young, you know, so when you encounter 11:09 those times something unexpected. 11:12 It makes it even more painful, I think, 11:14 especially when they're young. 11:15 So we just solicit your prayers now for her husband. 11:19 He's a precious man of God, and we're so grateful. 11:21 He's part of the 3ABN team, but her husband and the family 11:25 during this loss, you know, it's just a difficult time. 11:28 It makes you long for heaven. 11:29 We talked about the first hour about the young man 11:32 from 3ABN Uganda who recently unexpectedly passed away. 11:36 And speaking of loss, 11:39 the President of Allegheny East Conference, 11:43 he and his wife died in a house fire very recently, 11:47 this would be Henry Fordham III and his wife Sharon, 11:50 and our just deepest condolences to the family 11:54 at this time of loss. 11:55 You know, times like this, it makes you long for heaven 11:58 know that Jesus is coming soon. 11:59 Amen. 12:01 Yeah, absolutely, you know, and it just, I think, again, 12:03 presses home to me that we don't, 12:05 tomorrow is not guaranteed. 12:07 And, Jeff, you've told me many times too, 12:09 our next heartbeat 12:10 and our next breath is not guaranteed either. 12:12 What we have is today in this very moment, 12:14 you know, and I think it just presses home, 12:15 like I just mentioned a couple of seconds ago, 12:17 the need to continue to spread the gospel, right? 12:20 I mean, the urgency of the times that we live in, 12:23 and the opportunity that each of us have to share 12:25 whatever we've God's given to us with others, 12:27 we need to do that. 12:29 Don't wait for tomorrow, don't wait for next week. 12:31 We also want to encourage you too 12:32 if you've never accepted Jesus Christ into your life, 12:35 do it now. 12:36 Don't wait for tomorrow. 12:37 Don't wait till next year, or for a better time. 12:39 He wants you right now 12:41 to just accept Him as your Savior. 12:42 And He will gladly enter your heart 12:45 and you'll be a new person. 12:46 So yeah, just wow, going back to you 12:49 and that loss in your department, 12:51 she was part of our family, Jason, 12:53 her husband Bond works for you and in your department. 12:57 And both part, you know, they're all part of the family 12:59 and to lose someone like that so suddenly, 13:01 it's just a painful experience. 13:05 And the love we had for them, I mean, 13:06 it was so evident how quickly we could love them, 13:10 and how it's just part of the family. 13:13 I mean, God has His purpose and everything through it all. 13:17 And Bond, in spite of it all has been very positive 13:21 and looking for God. 13:23 And so, you know, God is always with you. 13:26 So never lose heart. 13:28 Yeah, in the midst of the storm, you know, 13:29 Isaiah talks about that too, 13:30 you know, about in the midst of the storm, 13:32 you know, God is with you and, you know, the storm 13:34 that you're going through, we don't, 13:36 but God knows the storm that you're going through 13:37 right now at home. 13:39 And remember that He is there right beside you. 13:41 He's there with you through the storm. 13:43 And so just hang on to Him, don't lose faith. 13:45 As Jill mentioned, 13:47 heaven can't come soon enough, right? 13:49 And we believe that we're almost home. 13:51 So praise God that we can be still a part of God's family. 13:55 And we just, our prayers are with you for the losses 13:57 and again, the loss for Christina and her family, 14:01 like you mentioned and others too. 14:02 Absolutely. 14:04 May be we can have a prayer and then we'll transition back 14:06 to more things happening in the Kids Network, 14:08 have a prayer. 14:10 Jason, you want to pray for those 14:11 and not just the ones we mentioned, 14:13 but there's people watching right now 14:15 who are dealing with loss. 14:16 So just say pray for them. 14:17 Let's pray. 14:19 Father, I want to thank You for who You are, 14:21 and that we can trust in You even though there are times 14:25 of hurting and times of loss. 14:28 Father, these families, 14:30 we want to lift these families up to You 14:33 that are hurting and yearning for You. 14:35 Father, you know that we need Your help 14:39 and that as Greg shared that each moment 14:43 is a blessing from You. 14:45 Father, I ask that we can use these blessings 14:48 to glorify Your name and to be a blessing to those 14:52 who still have not chosen You. 14:54 So, Father, we lift up these families, 14:57 we lift up those 14:58 who are still wondering whether they should choose you or not. 15:02 And, Father, I ask that You will guide 15:05 and intervene in our lives 15:07 that we may all have a closer relationship with You. 15:11 So, Father, please bless us now as we continue to serve You 15:16 and take on those joys that we have experienced 15:20 with those people that we have come in contact with, 15:23 who have passed away, 15:24 and that we can share the good news that soon 15:28 we will see them soon. 15:30 So, Father, thank You, in the name of Jesus. 15:33 Amen. 15:34 Amen. Amen. 15:35 Yeah, thank you so much. 15:37 And thank you again, 15:38 for being part of the 3ABN family. 15:40 You know, Jeff, I want to just come to you, 15:43 you know, thinking about, you know, we never know, 15:45 you know, life is not guaranteed. 15:46 No, it's not. 15:48 You know and Planned Giving and Trust Services 15:50 is a great way for you as you're trying... 15:53 Well, as we just mentioned, 15:55 we don't know what tomorrow holds, 15:56 but a good way for you to plan for the future, 15:58 but also way to bless the Ministry of 3ABN. 16:00 So maybe explain a little bit about Planned Giving 16:02 in case someone's never heard of it before? 16:04 Well, Planned Giving, you know, in Proverbs 3, it says, 16:06 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart 16:08 and lean not on your own understanding." 16:10 So if you are being impressed, 16:13 that you should do something to plan for your own future, 16:16 if you want to take and be a part of the gospel, 16:18 and help 3ABN spread the undiluted Word, 16:22 you need to take and reach out to us. 16:26 We've got Nancy, that's our trust officer 16:28 and our office manager and Tracy's over there, 16:30 as well as myself, 16:32 we're always welcome to take a call 16:34 and discuss with you. 16:35 We'll be glad to send you out information 16:37 that what is available through 16:39 Planned Giving and Trust Services. 16:41 You know it says that we're not supposed to lean 16:43 on our own understanding, 16:44 but then we're supposed to honor the Lord 16:47 with our possessions 16:48 and with the first fruit of our increase. 16:51 So we want to take and be good stewards. 16:54 We want to take and plan for our own future 16:57 as well as our family. 16:59 And we want to take and be a part of the gospel, 17:02 we want to take and provide funding the 3ABN 17:05 and other gospel messages can go forward. 17:09 Yeah, absolutely. 17:10 And I think that's a really, I mean, 17:11 it's a fantastic department 17:13 because, you know, God has supplied needs for 3ABN 17:16 just when we needed it, you know, 17:17 as some of these documents that come to maturity. 17:19 So maybe explains in the documents 17:21 that we actually have available and maybe not all the details, 17:23 what we have Cash Trust... 17:24 Cash Trust, that's probably one of the easiest 17:26 and most simplest... 17:28 Basically, it's the type of savings and it is revocable. 17:31 So if you take and put money in your Cash Trust with 3ABN 17:35 and somewhere down the future, 17:37 family emergency or some life altering event happens, 17:41 you are able to call and we'll send you 17:44 your money back portion or all. 17:46 So that is one, then we have a charitable gift annuity, 17:50 which is a very good program for senior adults. 17:55 It's a guaranteed interest rate for the rest of your life, 17:58 which at this point in time, 18:00 it's not very many things are guaranteed. 18:04 So it is a good product. 18:07 So we have that, we have... 18:08 And that one is irrevocable, right? 18:09 It is irrevocable. 18:11 Okay. 18:12 Charitable gift is irrevocable, and then we have 18:14 self-administered trust, and those are revocable. 18:17 And you can put your real estate, 18:18 you can put other belongings assets in there, 18:20 and it is revocable and you can alter 18:22 or change that at any time. 18:24 So how does this actually benefit in 3ABN? 18:27 Someone at home says, "Okay, this is great, 18:28 I've got wills and stuff already written up." 18:30 So how would something like this benefit 3ABN? 18:32 Well, on the charitable gift annuity, 18:35 whatever is remaining at the time you go to sleep 18:38 in Jesus is then transferred to 3ABN. 18:41 So whatever is the balance remaining is 3ABN's 18:45 in your Cash Trust. 18:49 We encourage people to take and have 3ABN 18:53 as one of the beneficiaries of that. 18:55 And 25% is mentioned, recommended. 19:00 And some people will take and use 25, 19:02 some 30 all the way up to 100%. 19:05 So at that time at your passing, 19:07 that money would take and become 3ABN's funds. 19:11 So I have a question for you. 19:12 So what about if they want to give part of that Cash Trust 19:16 while they're alive? 19:17 I think they call it intestate. 19:19 Is that an option? 19:20 Yes it is. 19:22 And matter of fact, I think this past year, 19:24 there was a person that took and donated quite a bit out 19:26 of her Cash Trust to 3ABN and helped out tremendously 19:31 with the cash flow here 3ABN. 19:33 Absolutely. 19:35 Yeah, I think it's great 'cause I've heard 19:36 some people say, you know what? 19:38 As they're writing their "will" or their, 19:39 you know, self-administered trust, they're saying, 19:41 you know, we're just thinking of 3ABN as one of our kids. 19:43 So I want Billy and I want Sally 19:46 and I want 3ABN, 19:47 you know, so they just write us into the document, 19:48 which is great. 19:50 And we're all about the family as well. 19:51 3ABN is not here like you said, sometimes people give 100%, 19:54 sometimes people give a percentage to 3ABN, 19:57 but I think one of the other benefits too, Jeff, 19:58 is that we actually do a lot of the legal work too. 20:02 We pay for all the legal services. 20:03 It's incredible. 20:05 So all the document fees are paid by 3ABN, 20:07 so that's a tremendous blessing. 20:09 Yes. 20:10 Otherwise, you'd be paying that fee out of your own pocket, 20:13 but this way 3ABN is covering those costs. 20:17 Yeah, we have some other options too, 20:18 we have is that CRUT? 20:20 I know, Jason, you've been in Planned Giving for years, 20:22 like 25 years or something? 20:23 Yeah, a little over... 20:24 Not trying to say how old you are... 20:28 Since you work in kindergarten. 20:29 That's right. 20:30 But we have the CRUT too, right? 20:32 So yeah, Charitable Remainder Unitrust, 20:35 those are a great tool. 20:37 If you have property, appreciated property, 20:40 and you don't want to pay capital gains, 20:41 that's an awesome tool that you can use 20:44 to benefit yourself 20:48 or someone else that you want as a beneficiary. 20:52 And those are usually like 5% and that goes out 20:55 through the rest of your life until you pass like you said, 20:59 and then 3ABN takes whatever's left, 21:02 and it uses for its operation at that time. 21:05 Yeah. Great tool. 21:07 You know, absolutely, 21:08 and I like it being said two tools. 21:10 Yes. That's great. You're right. 43:49 So we have Jesus My Light coming up, 43:51 it's being edited right now and another few weeks... 43:55 What is that program about? 43:57 Oh, Jesus My Life is totally about Jesus 43:59 and who Jesus is and how we want to be like Him 44:02 and look at His character a little bit and hopefully 44:05 we can reflect His character. 44:06 So that is the goal for that program. 44:09 And just in a couple of weeks on August 16 44:11 we have Professor Roy coming on set for Creation is Science. 44:16 And so if you know any young person 44:19 that might want to participate, they're welcome to email me. 44:22 Yeah, for this program or possibly in the future, 44:25 and my email is Kids@3abn.org Again Kids@3abn.org 44:31 and I'm always looking for young people 44:33 that want to be on the set with me 44:35 and learn more about Jesus. 44:37 And hopefully, soon we are looking 44:40 for a new program 44:42 called Kids X-PRESS and that's with an X-PRESS. 44:47 And we are, we want kids to express 44:50 what they are doing in their community 44:52 and dealing with current events 44:54 and how to handle tough situations. 44:56 Sometimes, just knowing that Jesus is our example 45:00 and looking at the Bible our source 45:02 of knowing who Jesus is, is key. 45:06 And so we're hoping to have some young people 45:08 and interview them even remotely. 45:10 So feel free to email me, 45:12 we're hoping to be able to use Skype for that. 45:14 So that's something coming up in the future. 45:16 So a lot happening, 45:17 and always looking for others to support 45:21 and just looking for the young people. 45:24 We want to be more involved in the schools 45:26 as well and having little writers write in, 45:28 maybe share their stories and videos 45:30 so I hope I hear a lot from the young people. 45:34 I want to go back to Kids X-PRESS for a moment, 45:36 Francine has a wealth of ideas. 45:38 It seems like every time I speak with her, 45:41 she has a new concept or new idea, 45:43 or you're constantly working, tirelessly working, 45:46 you know, to make this network happen 45:48 and you do an amazing job. 45:49 But what would be the format of Kids X-PRESS? 45:53 What does it look like? 45:54 I know you're gonna be on, but who's on with you? 45:56 So I do have Kelial co-hosting with me at the moment. 46:01 And I'm also looking for potential co-hosts 46:04 with Aunt Francine coming in the future. 46:07 And so we try to interview 46:08 some other kids to come on the set 46:10 and we want to see how they are shining for Jesus. 46:13 And sometimes we talk about some kind of issue 46:15 that they've had to deal with. 46:18 And we also want to know 46:19 where in the world they live, maybe. 46:22 And so we also have a little quiz, like, 46:24 can you identify the state or this country. 46:27 So that's a little and then 46:29 we just have some fun questions, 46:30 getting to know the kids. 46:32 And just even sometimes we're sharing a little joke, 46:34 or something that's kind of fun that just shows who Jesus 46:38 is and making connections because it's important 46:41 that we see other kids shining the light of Jesus, 46:45 and that they can be real. 46:48 And it's important that 46:49 they know that there's other kids 46:50 just like them, maybe in Japan, maybe in Nigeria, 46:54 or the Philippines, 46:55 wherever we want kids to be able to know 46:59 that they are loved, and supported too by 3ABN 47:03 so my prayer is that we connect more with kids at home, 47:09 whether they are at school, or whatever country, 47:13 so I hope to hear from them. 47:15 So that is an opportunity through Skype. 47:18 So again... 47:19 And I like the Kids X-PRESS 47:21 because you saw the pilot program 47:22 just a few weeks ago, fantastic. 47:24 I mean, just seeing the pilot, I know, 47:25 you know, things are being worked out 47:26 and although you wouldn't want to call them kinks, 47:28 but just, you know, those logistics of things, 47:30 getting all that worked out, 47:31 but you're talking about real issues, 47:32 you know, because I'm thinking about COVID, 47:34 well, that's affected not only the adults, 47:35 but the kids as well. 47:36 You think about school and the regulations there 47:38 a lot of concern, and, you know, just a lot of stuff, 47:41 and I liked it, that you're talking about real things, 47:43 real issues, and, of course, Jesus is always the answer, 47:46 but, you know, just talking and having kids 47:48 on the set being real, and being able to connect 47:50 because we're a worldwide audience, 47:52 you have a worldwide audience for Kids Network. 47:55 So they're able to, you know, connect with people 47:57 around the world, which is so neat 47:58 'cause you see all the countries 48:00 that we hear from and it's amazing. 48:03 And what's great too, is, you know, as adults, 48:06 we look at things from the adult perspective. 48:09 And this is kind of cool to see it from, 48:12 you know, children's perspective. 48:13 And sometimes that helps us as adults, 48:15 because we kind of get tunnel vision, 48:17 you know, we grew up, but sometimes it's the kids 48:20 who struggle with issues that, 48:22 you know, we may need to help as adults. 48:25 And this is a good opportunity for the kids to really, 48:29 you know, share not only some joys and exciting things, 48:33 but also how to deal 48:35 with certain things in the community 48:36 or how to witness or, you know, what ways that kids can grow. 48:41 And I think it can bring in some conversation 48:44 with their parents like helping them to know 48:46 when they don't feel like they're being listened to 48:48 or, you know, how to get attention 48:50 or who to ask for help. 48:52 And so these are definite issues that kids 48:55 need at any age and I might say even adults 48:58 sometimes we need reminders too. 49:00 Yeah. 49:02 Yeah, absolutely. 49:03 And I thank you for the leadership 49:04 and for the content, you know, 49:06 I think that's critical and great content. 49:08 So thank you again for what you're doing. 49:10 And I'm gonna turn to my wife here 49:12 because we have something brand new 49:13 to that you want to talk about and that's the blog. 49:15 We do. Okay. 49:21 I'm just trying to pay all the attention back in. 49:22 Okay. 49:24 I just want to make sure I wasn't cutting you off 49:26 I'm making sure. 49:27 We have launched already 3ABN Kindling, 49:31 which is 3ABN's first ever blog. 49:34 And you might say why in the world 49:35 are we doing a blog? 49:37 We believe that we need to take advantage of every avenue, 49:41 every opportunity to connect with you at home 49:45 as our 3ABN family and to connect 49:47 with the world evangelistically 49:49 so this is just one more avenue which is writing. 49:53 People love to read blogs, blogs are authentic. 49:57 They are sometimes intimate as in people share details 50:01 about their life 50:03 or what their thought processes, 50:04 or what they're going through. 50:06 So we are excited to be able to share 3ABN Kindling. 50:11 It launched in the beginning of July. 50:13 So if you go to 3ABN's website, the banner ad at the top says 50:17 3ABN Kindling, you can click on that, or you can go to, 50:21 it says Blog at the top of the website, 50:22 you click on Blog, 50:24 and it'll just redirect you to this website 3ABN Kindling. 50:26 We have right now four people who are authors 50:29 or writing for it. 50:31 And every Monday, 50:32 we launched a new blog at 7 PM Central. 50:35 The first Monday of the month is Rise's Pieces, 50:39 which is Rise Rafferty, and she's writing about health, 50:44 everything about health related issues. 50:46 And I'm excited about that she has her first blog up. 50:50 The second Monday of the month, is Finding My Way, 50:55 which is our very own Bobby Davis. 50:57 And it's all about recovery. 50:59 It's all about the issues that we deal with. 51:03 And he's taking one blog a month talking 51:05 about the 12 steps of recovering. 51:08 The third blog was just launched 51:10 this week is Wisdom Seeker. 51:13 And that's our very own Tim Parton. 51:15 And it's all about seeking wisdom 51:17 and the life choices 51:19 that we make or that we need to make. 51:22 And then the fourth blog for this month 51:25 is our very own Jason Bergmann, 51:26 and we'll let him talk to you about that. 51:28 But his handle is Green Soup, Money Matters. 51:33 And tell us what this first one is gonna be about? 51:36 Oh, wow. You know what? 51:37 And that will be next week, we don't want to give 51:39 too many details 51:40 'cause it's gonna be coming next week, 51:42 but the overall? 51:43 So we kind of chose green soup 51:45 because, you know, money has a way of getting 51:48 into all of our aspects of life. 51:52 And I chose green soup because money is green. 51:56 And soup can be a lot of things. 52:00 And we added money matters because we didn't want 52:02 you to think it was about food. 52:04 Yeah, so as, you know, the Bible talks about money 52:08 over 2,000 references and so we thought 52:12 that this would be a good opportunity to share money 52:15 type of matters that affect you in your life 52:18 and, or myself and how it affected me. 52:22 And some of the things I've learned 52:23 and some of the things 52:25 that we might want to stay away from are, 52:27 you know, making good decisions and those types of things. 52:29 Yeah, very good. 52:31 I'm excited about it too. 52:32 And I just know here in the closing minutes here, 52:35 I just want you to know 52:36 that, you know, all that 52:38 we've shared in these two hours, 52:40 you know, it's all giving glory to Jesus Christ. 52:42 You know, everything that's being done 52:44 by the Ministry of 3ABN it's not us, it's God. 52:47 God's the one who does it. 52:48 Our responsibility is just put the bread upon the water. 52:51 And God's the one that does the increase. 52:54 And we just again say thank you. 52:56 I know we say it so many times, 52:58 but we say from the bottom of our hearts, 52:59 thank you very much for standing with this ministry. 53:02 You're making a difference in somebody's life 53:03 like Jeff was talking about earlier. 53:05 Somebody made a difference in his life 53:07 because he found Jesus in the truth. 53:09 And I think about you, 53:10 you may be have actually found truth 53:12 because of 3ABN and well 53:14 that was because someone gave, prayed, 53:16 whatever it was and made a difference 53:18 in your life. 53:19 So we want you to know that 53:21 you are essential that you matter, 53:23 not only to us, but you matter most importantly 53:26 to Jesus Christ. 53:28 I wanted to just read this, 53:29 I love to read these correspondences 53:31 that come into 3ABN, hopefully it encourages you. 53:33 This one is, well, 53:35 I'm not going to give their names. 53:36 It just says, "My wife and I stopped watching cable 53:39 two years ago. 53:41 We set up Roku this month." 53:42 That was just a couple of months ago. 53:44 So they set up Roku, "And we were thrilled 53:46 to have stumbled across your channel. 53:49 We love your programming and all that you stand for. 53:53 Please accept our gift to do with it as you see fit. 53:57 As Bible believing born again Christians we thank you 54:01 and may God continue to bless you all." 54:04 Here's a couple that's on a journey 54:06 and we believe that it was divine providence 54:08 that they came across 3ABN. 54:10 This is just a sample, many, many people 54:13 and we know you too, many of you are saying, 54:15 "Hey, that's me too. 54:16 I stumbled across 3ABN." 54:19 It was not just accident, 54:21 God had you stumble across 3ABN for a reason. 54:25 And we just say thank you for partnering with this ministry. 54:28 And we're looking forward to going home, are we? 54:30 We know that Jesus Christ is coming very soon 54:33 and He wants each one of us to be faithful. 54:36 Last two minutes some closing thoughts that each one of you 54:39 maybe just want to say a sentence or two. 54:40 Jason, we start with you and just go around 54:41 just closing thoughts. 54:43 Sure. 54:44 You know, we talk about money, we talk about donations 54:46 and when it really comes down to all of this 54:49 is is from the Lord. 54:51 And we are stewards. 54:53 So I just praise the Lord that we can use the talents 54:57 that God has given us what you give to 3ABN 55:01 we change that around, we mix it up, 55:03 and then we share the good news. 55:05 So thank you for that. 55:06 And it's just great to be a part of the ministry 55:08 that gets it 110% and uses the money wisely with others. 55:13 Amen.
