Okay. 02:11 And I assume that we're gonna learn a lot of things here, 02:15 because there is so much stuff. 02:17 If you don't believe it, 02:18 go on the internet and look up mark of the beast. 02:21 You'll see some of the weirdest things, 02:23 the things that came from, 02:24 I don't know where people's mind, 02:27 but tonight what we're gonna find out 02:29 is what the Bible has to say, 02:30 the truth about the mark of the beast tonight, right? 02:33 Yes. That's gonna be awesome. 02:35 Okay. It's gonna be good. 02:36 You're looking forward to this, I know. 02:37 I am. 02:39 I'm so excited because anytime you get into the Word 02:41 and get the meat of the Word, it's exciting. 02:44 Absolutely. Absolutely. 02:45 And speaking of that, we got another pastor, 02:48 John, Johnny Dinzey. 02:49 Pastor John, it's good to have you here tonight. 02:52 And you've got some great news 02:53 that you're gonna tell us about. 02:55 And of course we have Greg and Jill Morikone, 02:59 and I'm just gonna say the bosses, 03:01 they're the leaders, 03:02 they're the ones that we just do 03:04 what they tell us to do. 03:05 And so... 03:06 We're just part of the team. 03:08 There you are. Thank you for your leadership. 03:10 It's been incredible. 03:11 The Lord handpicked you guys to be right where you are. 03:13 It's fun. 03:15 And to be a part of the ministry, 03:16 like you mentioned 03:17 in this time in earth's history, 03:19 I mean, what a privilege? 03:20 We all have to be a part of spreading the gospel. 03:22 I could give titles to everybody. 03:23 I could say Greg as president. 03:25 I could give each and every title, 03:27 but when I go to Jill, I'd have to do about 30, 03:30 as she does everything, 03:31 vice president, COO, board member too, you name it. 03:35 I mean, Jill does it all. 03:37 So thank you for both of you for what you do 03:41 for the cause of God. 03:42 And I know you have to run in a few minutes 03:43 and a little bit. 03:45 We do. 03:46 So, but we've got some exciting news 03:47 and Johnny has been sharing with you all. 03:49 So we kind of want you and Johnny to, 03:51 we're just gonna listen in, folks, 03:53 as to what's brand new things that are happening 03:56 in the great country of Cuba. 03:58 Amen. 03:59 Well, yeah, when Pastor Johnny, he just came back from Cuba 04:01 and we'll let you share some of those details. 04:03 But, of course, this project in Cuba is phenomenal. 04:06 You know, God has opened this door. 04:07 And as you mentioned, Mr. Danny, and Pastor Johnny, 04:10 if 3ABN doesn't go through this open door, 04:11 somebody else will. 04:12 All right. 04:14 So, you know, we stepped out by faith 04:15 and of course you at home have just caught the vision 04:18 and are supporting this project, 04:19 which is so encouraging for us. 04:21 And when you came back, you said, okay, 04:23 I've got some exciting things to tell you. 04:25 So Jill and I blocked a little bit of time and wow, 04:28 miracles are happening in Cuba. 04:29 Amen. 04:31 I don't know what stories you want to talk about 04:32 Pastor Johnny, but I know you've given an update. 04:34 Well, is this the time? 04:35 This is the time. This is it. 04:37 You're in the hot seat now. 04:38 Well, it's really remarkable 04:43 how God works, 04:44 I have to tell you. 04:46 Last year we went to Cuba to find out about the package. 04:52 What is the package for those maybe that are tuning in? 04:54 The package is the... 04:55 That's what they call it in Cuba. 04:57 The package is television programming 05:01 that includes soap operas are huge, 05:05 huge in the Spanish culture, soap operas, 05:08 comedies, even movies and children's programming. 05:12 So every week... 05:14 All secular programs. 05:15 All secular programming, all secular entertainment. 05:19 So every week people go to a sale, a center, 05:24 a distribution center to buy the week of programming. 05:28 Now, why are they doing this? 05:30 Because cable TV does not exist in Cuba. 05:33 So there is limited programming 05:37 on three government channels, 05:39 they have news and they have some shows 05:41 and things like that. 05:43 But people want more. 05:45 So the package is the way to get it. 05:49 So also I must say that 05:51 today, you know, here in the US and other countries, 05:53 internet is not too expensive. 05:57 Most people can get internet 05:58 and some people get it for free, 06:00 but over there, you have to pay for it. 06:02 And it's not always available 06:04 and sometimes issues with speed like we have here. 06:08 You know, we have issues with speed here. 06:09 So streaming is very expensive. 06:12 So the cheapest way for people to get new programming 06:17 is to go out and buy the package. 06:19 And there are some people that go from door to door 06:20 and they, 06:22 "Hey, you want the package for this week." 06:23 And it's very inexpensive. 06:26 I bought the whole package last year 06:28 for less than a dollar. 06:29 Oh, wow. 06:31 Economy, inflation. 06:33 I paid a little more than a dollar this time. 06:36 Wow. 06:37 But I'm talking about what they call it 06:39 a one terabyte of programming. 06:42 And you're talking about hours and hours. 06:44 You can literally sit there for days watching and watching. 06:49 You won't be able to see the whole thing in one week. 06:52 So they give people a lot of options, 06:54 you could, you don't have to buy the whole package. 06:56 You can pay less, 06:58 you can pay 25 cents and get, you know, just certain things. 07:02 So the idea, Chaplain Hernel came up with this idea, 07:06 the Lord put it in his heart, 07:08 hey, this is a way to bring the gospel to people. 07:10 Yeah. 07:12 So he talked to a lot of people. 07:14 He went there 07:16 and eventually he came to us and say, 07:17 "Do you wanna participate in the package 07:19 with 3ABN Latino programming?" 07:22 And he talked to me about it. 07:24 Okay. I understand that. 07:25 Yes, we are willing to participate. 07:27 Eventually, this grew into the possibility of 3ABN 07:31 being the what's on the Christian pack, 07:35 on the Christian folder. 07:36 There's a folder 07:38 for these different types of things, 07:39 because what you do, what the people do is 07:41 they bring their hard drive or they bring a memory 07:44 and they buy the package 07:46 and then they go home, 07:47 put it on their TV or on their computer, 07:49 then they watch this thing at their own leisure. 07:51 So last year we went, we brought our programming, 07:56 talked to the council of churches 07:58 and about the possibility and March of last year, 08:04 we heard the airports are gonna close, 08:06 COVID-19. 08:07 And we say, what? 08:09 We had other, two other, two or three other meetings 08:11 where we're supposed to meet with the union 08:13 of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. 08:15 We were supposed to have another meeting 08:16 with the Council of Churches. 08:18 Several things were in line for another three days, 08:20 but we had to leave then very, we heard at night, 08:23 8 o'clock at night. 08:24 So about five in the morning, 08:26 the next day we were at the airport 08:27 trying to get a ticket out. 08:29 So we left. 08:30 And so things kind of went on hold 08:32 and we were not able to get on the package 08:34 because since the airports are closed, 08:37 you couldn't come in. 08:38 And right now 08:40 there is no package delivery system 08:43 from the US to Cuba. 08:45 You couldn't send anything. You couldn't even get there. 08:48 We had to bring the hard drive in person. 08:49 We had to bring the hard drive in person. 08:51 So if we fast forward through the year of COVID. 08:54 Yes. 08:55 When we weren't able to actually get there. 08:57 That's right. 08:58 But then you just returned from Cuba, 09:00 you and Chaplain Hernel. 09:01 And you had some incredible meetings. 09:04 So tell us about that? 09:05 And the cost for the package now? 09:07 After our plane tickets, 09:10 we actually literally separated plane tickets. 09:13 I had three flights canceled, 09:15 Chaplain Hernel had two flights canceled 09:17 and he found another way. 09:19 He found that there was a charter flight. 09:23 So that's how we got there. 09:26 And I won't tell you about a lot of things 09:28 about what is it, 09:30 quarantine and all that that happened. 09:31 Let's go to the, right to the meeting. 09:34 We were waiting. 09:35 See the programming, the Council of Churches says, 09:38 this is exquisite programming. 09:41 Everything is approved from our end, 09:43 but we still needed 09:45 the approval of the administration 09:47 of the package, 09:48 the matrix. 09:50 And they were able to contact the matrix. 09:52 They had a phone number. 09:53 And so... 09:55 It's an interesting name. Isn't it, the matrix? 09:56 The matrix. 09:57 That's what they call it. 09:59 Those are the top leaders of the package. 10:00 But they're actually hard people 10:01 to actually get a hold of them to meet one on one. 10:03 Right. Oh, yes. 10:04 So they were able to get a hold of them. 10:06 And they said, you know, 10:07 we have a package of religious programming 10:08 that we have approved. 10:10 And so we need a price. 10:11 How much does it cost per month? 10:12 And so we received the price of $2,960 last year. 10:16 That's what we heard, but we're trying to, 10:17 hey, can you bring that down a little bit, you know? 10:20 So we were waiting for a phone call 10:22 and the phone call never came. 10:25 And so they literally lost contact with them. 10:28 And we don't know what happened if COVID was the issue, 10:31 but we, they would, 10:32 they couldn't get any message to them. 10:34 And they wouldn't call us back or call them back. 10:37 So the package, the people who oversee the package... 10:38 The matrix. 10:40 The matrix, we lost contact with them, 10:41 and we were not able to connect. 10:43 So now we... 10:44 Chaplain Hernel had like two days left 10:47 and we're waiting for this phone call. 10:48 And I said, 10:50 "Pastor Hernel, we need to get answers 10:51 before we leave here." 10:52 And so we started praying. 10:54 Lord would lead us to the package. 10:55 So we decided to visit places 10:57 where they sell the package to say, 10:59 hey, where do you get this programming from? 11:02 Do you have access to the top people? 11:04 So we made a list of places to go 11:07 and we were in Havana, Cuba. 11:08 And we go to the first one and the person said, 11:11 "Oh, no, I just work here." 11:12 You know, you get that, 11:14 "Oh, I just work here. I don't have that information. 11:15 Or my boss will be back later." 11:17 We go to the next one. 11:19 And when we go to the next one, 11:20 we hear things that we say, wait a minute, 11:24 is the Lord bringing a miracle here? 11:26 Yes. 11:27 The very second place we went to, 11:30 we found somebody at the matrix level... 11:33 Thank you, Jesus. 11:35 Of the potentially 50 to a 100 places you could go, 11:39 the second one, the second. 11:41 This is a miracle to me 11:43 'cause we didn't know these people. 11:44 Yeah, one of the top leaders... 11:45 One of the top leaders of the matrix. 11:47 Was right there in the little shop, 11:48 just kind of just sitting there. 11:50 And you don't really know if he is, 11:51 but you found out he was the leader. 11:52 So we talked to him about what we wanna do. 11:54 And he said, "Yes, we need to see your programming." 11:57 And we had given our programming 11:59 to the Council of Churches. 12:00 Next day, we got it. 12:01 We had a meeting with this person 12:03 and we gave him the hard drive. 12:05 We're gonna take a look at this and we'll get back to you. 12:08 And so Chaplain Hernel was able to leave 12:11 with the answer that we were looking for. 12:14 You know, we'll get back to you. 12:15 And so this is what... 12:18 Three days later, this is the message we got. 12:22 The programming is phenomenal. 12:24 I am very happy. 12:26 My colleagues are looking at the programming now, 12:29 but he was already happy. 12:31 He was... It was phenomenal. 12:32 He told me, "This is phenomenal." 12:34 And so now I'm ready to tell you the price 12:38 and the starting date 12:39 for 3ABN Latino programming to get it. 12:41 So after prayer and their meetings, 12:46 the Lord blessed that from $2,960, 12:49 it is now $1,200 a month. 12:53 Thank you Jesus. Praise the Lord. 12:54 More than half lost. More than half lost. 12:56 So we are praising the Lord for this. 12:58 And he said, 13:00 "The starting date we can give you is June 15." 13:04 June 15. 13:06 Okay, you got that thing. 13:07 Tell us again, how many people were able to get this in Cuba? 13:11 That's a great question. 13:13 And I'm sure our viewers have the same question. 13:15 They have a, 13:17 and, a very well organized system 13:21 of getting to every single city in Cuba 13:25 when they released this within two days, 13:27 two or three days, 13:29 it's all over the country. 13:30 Wow. 13:31 And so, this is an opportunity 13:33 that is a God thing. 13:37 God has done this. 13:39 People receive the regular television program 13:42 that they get. 13:43 Now 3ABN is gonna be on it. 13:45 3ABN is gonna be on it. 13:47 How many hours a day? 13:49 It's not hours a day. 13:50 We are allowed a certain amount. 13:52 Yes. 13:54 So the amount we're able to put there is 13:57 over 12 hours of programming. 13:59 Okay. 14:00 Twelve to 15 hours of programming 14:01 that they can watch during that week. 14:04 And then a new program in the next week, 14:06 a new program in the next week. 14:07 Every week they can get new programming. 14:09 Every week. 14:11 About 12 hours or so of new programming every week. 14:14 That is incredible in Cuba. 14:17 Yes, in Cuba. 14:18 Eleven million people in Cuba. Eleven million people. 14:19 Eleven million people in Cuba. That's right. 14:21 And so not only that we're able to put, 14:23 yes, praise the Lord. 14:25 This is June 15. 14:26 Yes, it's right away, just around the corner. 14:29 Amen. Yeah, very exciting. 14:30 Not only that we're able to put Bible studies 14:34 and booklets and books... 14:37 That they can download. 14:38 They can right here have access to it 14:40 and start reading God's message. 14:42 It's amazing. Amen. 14:44 It's a miracle. It is a miracle. 14:46 You know 'cause at times 14:47 when you've had this with Russia too, 14:48 it's like, whoa, we're coming up against the wall. 14:50 Now, what could we kind of lost some contact 14:51 and then boom, second place to go to. 14:53 There's one of the main leaders. 14:54 And that's what we needed to talk to right there. 14:57 That is a God thing. 14:58 That is amazing. Yes, it is. 15:00 It is a miracle to me 15:02 and Chaplain Hernel, you know, 15:03 he says, this is so exciting for me. 15:06 The Lord has given me the privilege 15:08 to be a part of bringing the gospel all over Cuba 15:12 to bring the loud cry to my people, 15:14 'cause he is from Cuba. 15:16 He was born in Cuba. Yeah. 15:17 And he's doing an amazing job as well. 15:19 Just so grateful for him 15:20 and what he's doing there in Cuba. 15:21 So, and for you and your leadership 15:23 over Cuba as well. 15:25 So praise the Lord. That is exciting. 15:26 Amen. Exciting times, Mr. Danny. 15:27 It is very exciting. It is, it is. 15:29 Be living in the closing moments 15:31 of earth's history. 15:32 And right now I know Mr. Danny and Yvonne are hosting, 15:35 but we're going to take a right turn. 15:37 We are on purpose. 15:39 Next week is Mr. Danny Shelton's birthday. 15:42 And I think, he turns, can we say this? 15:46 He's turned 70. 15:48 Seventy years old? Oh, that's young. 15:49 That's young. 15:51 I have no idea if it is young. 15:53 I worked out. 15:54 So threescore and ten. 15:56 Threescore and ten. 15:57 That's good and bad 15:59 when you look at the Bible lot of times, 16:00 it talks about threescore and ten. 16:02 Okay, yeah, but we're praying 16:03 for many more happy, healthy years ahead of you 16:06 because God's not done with you yet. 16:07 Yes. All right. 16:08 And if He is, it's just short time 16:10 to the second coming anyway. 16:12 So, you know... 16:13 And so everyone here at the ministry of 3ABN, 16:16 we love you. 16:18 And we're so grateful 16:19 that God called you to begin this ministry. 16:21 Your precious wife 16:24 did some work behind the scenes. 16:26 That's right. 16:28 And Brad Walker 16:30 and Valerie have put together blessing to be part of God's last day movement, 17:34 to be able to share God's Word 17:36 and to receive new life every day 17:40 and now a new year of life. 17:44 Thank you, Danny, to you and the 3ABN team 17:47 for what you have done to lift up Jesus, 17:51 to lift up His Word, 17:53 to lift up His sanctuary service, 17:55 to lift up His three angels messages 17:58 and Christ's soon coming. from the Book of Philippians 4:19, 18:20 because each of us faces challenges 18:22 as we head into these last days of earth's history, 18:25 but it says, 18:27 "And my God shall supply all your need 18:30 according to His riches in glory 18:35 by Christ Jesus." 18:39 Danny, thank you for your strong commitment 18:43 to sharing God's Word, 18:45 to bring loyal, exciting, 18:49 wonderful news to people 18:52 about God's precious Seventh-day Adventist Church 18:55 and His truth. 18:58 Let me pray with you. 18:59 Father in heaven, thank you for Danny 19:02 and for his commitment to you. 19:04 Thank you for 3ABN 19:06 and what it has meant to so many people 19:09 and helping individuals find true meaning in life. 19:14 And most of all, 19:15 finding the source of all life, Jesus Christ. 20:02 your friendship, 20:03 I consider you like another dad to me. 20:06 And I just appreciate all your words of wisdom 20:09 as Miss Mollie Steenson would always say, 20:12 Danny Shelton will pour into you. 20:14 And so thank you so much for your walk of faith, 20:16 for encouraging Jill and myself 20:18 to just stay true to the mark 20:20 that God has given you in His Word, 20:23 the Bible and everything else will work out. 20:25 Thank you for your vision for the ministry of 3ABN. 20:28 I know that at times, things have not always been easy, 20:31 but I don't know that I've ever seen you down. 20:34 God has just given you incredible wisdom, optimism. 20:37 And I know that comes from God. 20:39 So thank you for always standing true 20:41 to the Word of God, 20:43 no matter what other people think 20:44 you've always based your decisions 20:46 on principles as he always says, 20:48 and on the Bible. 20:49 We love you so very much. 20:51 And again, thank you for your mentorship. 20:52 And we pray for many more happy, healthy years 20:55 ahead of you. 20:56 We're just so grateful. 20:58 I just wanna add a couple of words 20:59 to what Greg just said. 21:00 As I think of you, 21:04 the difference that you have made 21:06 in this world, 21:08 the people who have come to know Jesus, 21:11 the people who are baptized Seventh-day Adventist 21:14 who discovered the truth of the Sabbath 21:16 or the state of the dead, 21:17 or who found Jesus for themselves, 21:20 because one man was faithful 21:23 to what God called him to you to do. 21:25 And that man is you. 21:27 When I think of you, four words come to mind, 21:29 that would be integrity, vision, 21:32 wisdom, and common sense. 21:36 That's true. Maybe I could say five. 21:37 I think the fifth would be faith. 21:39 Yes. 21:40 Without your faith, 21:41 without your vision to build a television station 21:45 that would reach the world 21:46 with the undiluted three angels' messages, 21:49 one that would counteract the counterfeit, 21:50 none of us would be here. 21:52 That's true. 21:53 Without your faith to see that vision through, 21:56 without your integrity, 21:58 no matter what anyone else said, 22:00 no matter what anyone else did. 22:02 You always made decisions based on principles. 22:05 That's right. Greg and I love you. 22:06 And, Yvonne, we're so grateful for your mentorship. 22:10 We're grateful for your wisdom, for your common sense. 22:14 And just for believing in two kids here 22:17 and believing in 22:18 what God can do in and through us, 22:21 what God can do in and through 22:22 those in the ministry here. 22:24 I think of the scripture you always use, 22:26 "Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly, abundantly 22:30 above all that we ask or think." 22:33 So we just love you. Absolutely. 23:06 Danny, we love you. 23:07 You're like my brother, truly. 23:09 I tell people all the time, he's my brother. 23:11 And we're just family from different mothers. 23:15 That's exactly what we are for sure. 23:17 And I remember the very first time, 23:19 Ladye, that I met Danny and you too 23:21 was on a Gaither cruise, with the Alaska cruise 23:25 and you came in with your 3ABN hat on. 23:28 And we had a ping pong tournament 23:30 with all the, most of the artists and stuff 23:32 were playing this ping pong tournament. 23:34 And then Ben Harper 23:36 and Linda Randall Michael's husband 23:39 is a great ping pong player. 23:40 I was okay, but we always had this ping pong tour. 23:43 You walk in... 23:44 That's Ben ruled until you walked in. 23:46 Yeah. And you beat us all. So I think it was 33. 35:09 And now all of a sudden who would dream, 35:11 you'd be here till 70. 35:13 Thank you, honey. That was so sweet. 35:15 What you did is it's a great privilege 35:18 that the Lord has allowed us to spend these years together. 35:21 Pastor John and both of you, and Greg and Jill. 35:24 And I thank all of you at home too, 35:27 for what you do for the cause of God. 35:29 And I do wanna say this while it all sounds great 35:32 and people are very kind and say kind things. 35:35 We're all humans in need of a savior. 35:37 And I fail God many times and will continue. 35:40 But I'm so thankful 35:42 for the process of sanctification 35:44 that once we accept Jesus Christ 35:47 as Lord and savior of our life, 35:48 and we're heading, 35:50 you know, trying to be a witness 35:52 and work in ministry, 35:53 you slip and you fall, 35:55 but you can always come back to God 35:56 and He will bring you back into the full and His blood. 36:00 His righteousness will cover, 36:02 you know, so thankful for a heavenly Father, 36:05 who's allowed me to be a part of this. 36:06 I mean, coming from a little area 36:08 like West Frankfort, Illinois, 36:10 then my father disabled at 36 36:12 and several brothers. 36:13 There's four of us, boys and girl and my mother 36:16 and growing up together 36:17 and a high school education going into carpentry, 36:21 never expecting to do anything in ministry, 36:25 but yet always felt like 36:26 I had a call in my life for ministry 36:28 ever since I was young, 36:29 but never even dreamed about going to college, 36:31 that would have been out of, you know, financial areas. 36:34 And we didn't know a lot of the ways 36:35 they allow you to do it today. 36:37 So I never even thought that way, 36:39 but I feel so honored that 36:41 God's allowed me to be a part of a ministry 36:44 that now literally is reaching planet earth. 36:47 And to hundreds of millions if not, 36:49 I'm told potentially a couple of billion people or so 36:53 on planet earth can watch and listen 3ABN 36:55 if they really want to. 36:57 So again, I wanna thank each and every one of you 36:59 for what you do, 37:01 but without you at home, there would be no 3ABN. 37:03 We can all talk all we want to, 37:06 preach to each other all we want to, 37:08 but nobody would hear it, nobody would see it. 37:11 So I wanna thank you 37:13 for what you've done all of these years in support 37:16 of Three Angels Broadcasting Network. 37:18 And, of course, for all of you that have taken part 37:21 in this from Elder Wilson to everybody else. 37:24 Thank you so much. Yeah. 38:05 As Paul said before Agrippa, he said, 38:07 "I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision." 38:11 And when you stand before the Lord, 38:13 you could by God's grace say 38:15 I was not disobedient to the vision 38:18 and it moves my heart to think. 38:19 I wouldn't be, I mean, 38:20 more than half of my ministry has been here. 38:22 Wow. And... 38:24 Isn't that something? 38:25 It's humbling to think that 38:26 the guy from New York City 38:28 will be living in West Frankfort by a lake. 38:31 And my wife and I, we could think of 38:34 when I was first invited to come here. 38:36 When Dee said, whenever you're in the area 38:38 and I was living in California 38:40 at the time when Dee called me in 1999. 38:42 She says, 38:43 "Whenever you're in the area, stop by 3ABN." 38:46 I said, "What's the area?" 38:47 She said, "West Frankfort." 38:49 I said, "Where is that?" 38:50 She said, "In Southern Illinois." 38:52 I said, "I won't be in the area anytime soon". 38:54 And she said, 38:55 "What would it take to get you here?" 38:57 And I said, 38:58 "Well, I'm not gonna ask you to pay me anything, 38:59 just an airline ticket." 39:01 How far are you from the airport? 39:02 Well, just a vehicle to get there. 39:04 And now I now know 39:05 that 3ABN doesn't just pay for people to come here. 39:09 And I look back on that as an appointment from God, 39:12 because Dee called me back in about 10 minutes. 39:14 She said, "It's done. I want you come here." 39:17 And it's providential and ironic 39:19 that the house, my wife and I are in today 39:21 was the house that I stayed in 39:23 when I came here the very first time. 39:25 So God has a way of, 39:26 and then when I moved from California to St. Louis, 39:30 my wife and I started pastoring in St. Louis. 39:32 And after nine months, 39:34 we saw that that was not God's plan. 39:35 And I sat at the edge of my bed and said, 39:37 "Lord, honestly, 39:38 what would you want us to do with the rest of our lives?" 39:41 And two days later, you called me and asked me, 39:43 "Are you sitting down?" 39:44 And I didn't know you that well then. 39:46 And you said, 39:47 "We're looking for a pastor. 39:48 Would you consider pastoring the church we're gonna build?" 39:50 Wow. 39:51 And then, so we've been here ever since, 39:52 and I could tell you 39:54 we've been in the trenches together. 39:55 We've seen good times and bad times at 3ABN, 39:58 but as is the case so many have expressed this, 40:02 if the furnace is hot, 40:05 I wouldn't mind being in with you 40:07 because we've gone through some furnaces together 40:09 and we've come out on the other side 40:10 by God's grace. 40:12 So thank you for being obedient for my wife and me 40:14 to the heavenly vision. 40:15 We love you, Danny. 40:16 Praise the Lord. Thank you. 40:18 Johnny came, what year did you come? 40:21 I came in... 40:22 He was a teenager. End of November, 1989. 40:24 Wow. 40:26 And to me it was a miracle 40:28 of the Lord that I was able to come here. 40:31 And I have to say that throughout all these years, 40:33 you know, looking at the ministry 40:35 and looking at the way God has led you, 40:38 I see balance the wisdom they spoke about. 40:41 I've seen it and also the faith, you know, 40:44 just to say one of the things, 40:46 I remember when we presented to you 40:49 the idea of 3ABN Latino, 40:51 and I literally when Mollie said 40:55 you're number 17 on the list to see Danny. 40:58 You mean there are 16 other people? 41:00 Yeah, Jill and Greg on that list. 41:04 But it was interesting... 41:05 That they have to, 41:06 now everybody's waiting on you all. 41:08 And three weeks later, I get the call. 41:10 Danny is ready to see you. 41:11 I come with my information 41:13 because we were about to present the idea of, 41:15 you know, we need a Spanish channel. 41:17 And just as I got to the stairs, 41:19 because my office was in the second floor 41:21 in pastoral, 41:22 when I worked in pastoral. 41:24 The fear, is this a good time to present this project? 41:28 Because 3ABN was about a million dollars 41:31 behind on offerings. 41:33 And I know that if I go 41:36 to one of these companies like Ford or whatever company 41:39 I said, "Hey, we have a new project. 41:40 We wanna start another branch somewhere else." 41:42 The idea would be, 41:44 do you not know what's going on. 41:45 We're about to... 41:46 We're facing difficult financial times, 41:48 but I had to go back and pray, 41:50 Lord, if this is the time, 41:52 then impress Danny, that this is Your will. 41:55 And I literally prayed and all fear left. 41:59 And I say, well, it's in the Lord's hands. 42:02 And so after we were sharing information 42:04 about how many Spanish people there are in this country 42:07 and other parts of the world. 42:09 I mean, it was just a blip. 42:12 What does all this mean? 42:13 You know, you say, what is, what does all this mean, 42:15 all this information sharing? 42:16 Well, I believe we need a Spanish channel. 42:19 And I remember that blink, let's do it. 42:22 There was a blink and let's, let's go forward. 42:25 And I was like, did he just say yes, 42:29 because what's in the back of... 42:30 That's when it came back to my mind, 42:32 wait, there's a million dollars. 42:34 And because right after you said, 42:36 we're still a million dollars behind. 42:37 And I was like, oh man, I had no idea. 42:39 'Cause I had heard about that about three weeks ago, 42:41 I had no idea, but let's go forward. 42:43 And you know, praise the Lord. 42:46 About two weeks later, 42:47 Lenner Westphal was in the lobby here. 42:50 There was a 3ABN board meeting taking place 42:53 and I'm passing through and he goes, he greets me. 42:56 And how are you? 42:57 He says, 42:59 "We have a phenomenal, phenomenal report, 43:00 phenomenal report." 43:01 And he told us, he told me that 43:06 finances had come in there 43:08 that put 3ABN right where we needed to be. 43:11 So I said, "Praise the Lord." That I needed to hear that. 43:15 I needed to hear that part. 43:16 So I said, "Praise the Lord." 43:18 So 3ABN Latino is a product of a man 43:20 that still believes that no matter what's going on, 43:23 we need to go forward to preach the gospel. 43:24 Amen. 43:26 I appreciate you and Idalia in all that you've done. 43:28 Your family, Caleb's here today, 43:29 running the camera. 43:31 And, I mean, it's been, Samuel's been here for years 43:34 and watching your family grow up. 43:36 It's been great for all of you. 43:37 So anyway... 43:39 And I have to say this one more thing. 43:40 You know, I have seen some of the attacks 43:43 that have come to you, that challenges you faced. 43:47 And I have to say, 43:48 you have faced them looking unto Jesus, 43:50 looking unto Jesus 43:51 because without Jesus, we really can't do nothing. 43:54 So looking unto Jesus, and I encourage you 43:56 to continue to look unto Jesus, no matter what comes your way, 43:59 God will always be your strength. 44:01 Amen. 44:02 I'd like to encourage anybody watching today, 44:04 no matter what comes your way. 44:06 Like with me, certain things through the last 35 years, 44:11 you know, the devil hits you every way he can, 44:13 sometimes it's your own fault. 44:14 Other times he just hates those who's on the frontline, 44:17 but your choices. 44:19 Do I go forward or quit? 44:21 Well there's nothing in the Bible 44:22 that ever says quit? 44:23 No. Right. 44:25 Nothing ever says quit. 44:26 So retirement we say, it's out of this world. 44:28 We can worry about that, 44:29 you know, when we get to heaven. 44:30 So my choice has always been simple is to go, 44:33 the blessing of God is on the go to never quit. 44:36 When the Lord's through with me, 44:38 He'll allow me to be, I've had people predict, 44:40 well, he won't be there next year. 44:42 And I don't like this. 44:43 We don't like that and that when you're in a fishbowl, 44:46 so to speak that we've been, and to me, I hate to say this. 44:49 I don't wanna sound to anyway, 44:52 but it's the so what is like what people say 44:55 when it's an opposition, I'm really not worried, 44:59 greater is He, 45:00 that is in us than He that is in the world. 45:02 So, you, if people are trying to get you down, 45:05 trying to discourage you, coming against you 45:08 with no matter what you say, you know what? 45:11 I was born to serve the Lord. 45:12 And so when you make mistakes, admit it, 45:15 I made a lot of them. 45:17 I admit it. 45:18 I've come to the Lord and said, "Lord, will You forgive me?" 45:20 And He always has been faithful 45:22 and just to forgive me for my sins. 45:24 So therefore, 45:25 I'm gonna continue to go forward 45:27 till the Lord, says, okay, it's time to rest 45:29 or till we get to see Him in the clouds of glory. 45:31 And I get to do it with you. 45:33 Amen. 45:34 Thank you for that, 45:35 you're making it so much better. 45:37 Me too. You pulled that one. 45:42 You just gonna come on and talk about kids. 45:45 Yeah. 45:47 You guys are a great team. 45:49 And thank you for being a man that walks by faith, 45:51 you know, and not by sight 45:52 and as we were mentioning, you know, 45:54 in the thank you, and the happy birthday greeting, 45:55 you know, just for pouring into us 45:57 and for believing in us and that means a lot. 46:00 And you believe in many, you know, here at 3ABN. 46:03 And so it's all part of the team together. 46:05 And you're firm believer in that 46:06 and it's a blessing to, 46:07 you know, the part that we all have to play right 46:09 is just small, 46:10 but it's making a difference in the entire world. 46:12 And it's just amazing. 46:14 It's a privilege to be here, working with everyone else. 46:16 Just so our viewers know 46:18 you and Jill were handpicked by God 46:20 to do what you're doing. 46:22 Absolutely. 46:23 And Yvonne and I, and the rest of us were 100%. 46:25 You can trust them. 46:26 Talk about integrity, talk about dedication, 46:29 focus to the mission. 46:31 I'm gonna go here, there, in my mind I get these ideas 46:34 now it sound great. 46:36 But if I didn't have people following through with them, 46:38 it'd be, I just nobody know about it, but me, right? 46:41 So I get a lot more credit than I deserve, 46:44 but these folks are so organized. 46:46 You're brilliant. 46:47 If I can use the word 46:49 and God has handpicked you right now. 46:51 So I would like everybody, not only your support, 46:54 but your prayers for Greg and Jill 46:56 and for our pastors, 46:57 the devil hates him. 46:59 What you're getting ready to present. 47:00 The devil hates, 47:01 so the devil like to see you dead. 47:04 Devil likes see you dead, what you gonna do in Cuba, 47:06 we know that. 47:07 John 10:10, he's out to steal, kill and to destroy, 47:11 but the big but, Jesus says, we say but in capital letters. 47:16 Jesus says, I am come that you may have life 47:19 and have it more abundantly. 47:21 And so what we're talking about this, 47:22 we're talking about you too at home 47:24 because the devil hates you. 47:26 He's out to, that scripture fits you. 47:29 But also that we just mentioned 47:31 the greater is He that is in us. 47:33 That's in you too, than he that is in. 47:35 We have, Satan has no power over us. 47:38 It's a matter of choice. 47:39 People say, 47:41 "Oh, I'm so discouraged. 47:42 And people don't treat me right. 47:44 I quit going to church and I was offended." 47:46 Well, great peace have 47:48 they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them. 47:50 So I always tell people being offended is a choice. 47:53 So that's when we're worrying too much about ourselves. 47:56 Well, I'm not gonna do this anymore, Greg, 47:58 because so-and-so didn't appreciate what I did. 48:01 Or they said this terrible thing about me. 48:03 Who am I hurting when I do that? 48:05 And my, you know... 48:07 It's all about me. 48:08 Don't allow somebody else to discourage you. 48:10 That's right. 48:11 Being offended is a choice. 48:13 Choosing not to be offended, 48:14 just say, hey, for me and my house, 48:16 we will serve the Lord. 48:17 If you like it, okay, if you don't like around it, 48:20 we're still here. 48:21 As long as we have breath, we're gonna witness, 48:23 tell the world about Jesus Christ 48:24 and His saving power. 48:26 Amen. That's right. 48:27 You know, you're talking about the topic 'cause we, 48:29 you know, I appreciate the message pastor too 48:32 on Sabbath is fantastic. 48:33 You know, and I just think about the privilege 48:34 that 3ABN has 48:36 to be able to proclaim this gospel right now 48:37 in this time in earth's history. 48:39 I mean, it's phenomenal. 48:40 We think about the world 48:42 and what's going on in the world. 48:43 And for 3ABN to still have a voice 48:45 that still goes around the world 48:47 is an incredible privilege 48:48 'cause we know that times are gonna get really tough. 48:49 Right? 48:51 Yes We know that prophecy very soon. 48:52 Yes. 48:54 So we know we have today, right? 48:55 And so we need to take full advantage 48:56 in a good way 48:58 of the privilege that 3ABN has to reach the world. 48:59 It's just incredible. 49:01 Thank you for what you're gonna share in the second hour 49:02 about the mark of the beast and things, 49:04 these are pertinent 49:05 to the times we're living in, for sure. 49:06 And it's a condensed version of it. 49:09 No, I understand. 49:10 'Cause one of the things that I think about 49:12 in the back of my mind 49:13 when you present a topic of this magnitude. 49:15 Oh, yeah. 49:16 Because life and death is the fulcrum point 49:18 that separates both of these 49:20 is somebody will say, well, he didn't mention that 49:23 or he didn't mention this. 49:25 Well, it's not possible 49:26 to treat a topic of this magnitude 49:29 with the full relevance that it needs 49:31 within the timeframe we have. 49:33 But I wanna encourage you to do this, 49:35 that Greg talked about this. 49:38 I did preach this sermon on at our church, 49:42 part one and part two. 49:43 So if you don't mind, 49:45 I could just mention the website. 49:46 Is that okay? 49:47 You can go and see the full sermon. 49:49 Please do it. 49:50 If you go to our church website, 49:51 tvsdac.org 49:54 That's where it said Thompsonville, 49:56 which is like television, 49:57 sdac.org 49:59 And there you'll click on past sermons 50:01 and you'll see mark of the beast part one 50:02 and part two. 50:04 And those, we did dealt with that in two hours. 50:07 Yeah. 50:08 So I had quite a bit more detail then, 50:09 which still wasn't a full treatment of it 50:11 because it's a magnificent topic. 50:13 It is. 50:14 It's one that we have to present faithfully. 50:16 Yes. 50:18 But we have to do it humbly 50:19 and we have to do it with consideration 50:20 that it affects everyone. 50:22 So this topic is not gonna be presented 50:24 zeroing in on any particular group of people, 50:27 but it's gonna be dealing with the topic 50:29 as the Bible presents it 50:31 because the Lord is not willing that 50:32 any should perish, 50:33 but He does in the revelation of Jesus 50:35 present two opposing forces in the closing earth's... 50:38 Closing hours of the earth's history. 50:40 And we're gonna find out today 50:42 something more about the mark of the beast 50:45 than just the mark of the beast. 50:47 I'll leave there. 50:48 So you think it's important now 50:50 because we've heard for hundreds of years, 50:53 everybody has theirs, but you think it's, 50:56 you have information from the Bible 50:58 that's important 50:59 that people need to hear now more than ever before? 51:02 True. 51:03 And you know, the amazing thing about it, Danny, 51:05 it's always been there, 51:06 but the Lord tapped me on the forehead 51:08 when I was studying for this topic 51:11 and we've had an intense topic subject here at 3ABN 51:13 to say the least, 51:15 but He tapped me on the forehead 51:17 and I stopped working on my sermon 51:19 and I went to Angie and I said, she said, 51:22 "Well, you're supposed to be working on your sermon." 51:25 I said, "The Lord told me to stop." 51:26 He said, I could hear him audibly in my mind say 51:28 stop, stop, stop, stop. 51:32 He said, 51:33 "You're going too fast. 51:35 You know this topic so well, you're missing a whole lot." 51:38 Okay. Stop, stop, stop. 51:41 That's big. 51:42 The law, the most dangerous thing in life 51:45 is to be familiar with something. 51:48 You take it for granted 51:49 and you think you've seen all of it. 51:51 And so when I did that and I went back and prayed 51:54 as I sat at my computer 51:56 and I go to bed till like 10 minutes to four, 51:58 Friday night in the morning, Sabbath morning, 52:00 but I had all the energy I needed. 52:02 I wasn't even tired at all. 52:03 The joy of the Lord is my strength. 52:06 And I saw things 52:07 in the familiar places Pastor Dinzey, 52:09 that we've talked about Daniel and Revelation 52:12 and other parts of the Bible. 52:13 And all of a sudden, 52:15 the Bible exploded in brilliance. 52:17 And I started thinking unbelievable. 52:20 And I came back to the room and I said, 52:21 "Angie, it's larger than we think. 52:23 It's much more magnificent than we think." 52:26 And I wanna say, I thank God for men 52:27 that take their time like my good friend, 52:30 Dr. Ranko Stefanovic, 52:31 a professor of New Testament theology 52:34 who has... 52:36 We have a friendship that has allowed me to call 52:40 and ask him questions. 52:42 And I have such respect 52:44 for his integrity of scriptures. 52:45 And I wanna just share 52:47 with what God has been revealing to me 52:49 through study 52:50 and through 34 years of ministry. 52:51 And it's finally coming. 52:53 It's amazing how long it takes, 52:55 but I wanna use this not as a tongue and cheek, 52:57 but we are coming into sharper focus. 53:00 And that's the... 53:01 That's why I love that topic. 53:03 You know, my website is sharper focus, 53:06 but that's what we're gonna do 53:08 the second half of the program 53:10 is talk about what God has revealed. 53:13 And I'm gonna get to the nitty-gritty of it, 53:18 to the cellular part of the topic. 53:20 And then for those who have questions, 53:23 we'll be able to treat those by email and things like that. 53:25 Yeah. That's good. 53:26 It's bigger than we think. Yeah. 53:28 It's so important to really dig deeply, 53:30 you know, there's that surface study 53:33 and then there's that deep study. 53:35 And so we're just very thankful for your depth of knowledge. 53:39 And one of the things we'd like to say to our viewers at home, 53:42 when you study something like this mark of the beast, 53:46 I mean, it's a major study that again, 53:49 that we're not talking about people, 53:51 we're not, we may talk about organizations 53:54 but we don't talk about, God has people in all churches. 53:57 Right. 53:58 So we, those of us here, 54:00 we're Seventh-day Adventist Christians, 54:01 we're well enough. 54:03 We know well enough 54:04 that God has people in many different churches 54:07 around the world. 54:08 That's right. 54:10 There will some be, some people that'll make it to heaven 54:11 who've never set foot in a church. 54:12 We know that from the thief on the cross 54:15 and other situations. 54:17 So we're not here to set in judgment 54:20 and to say and the pastors not gonna say, 54:22 look what I'm doing and look what you're not doing. 54:25 This is literally, 54:26 it's to open our eyes to really understand 54:30 how close we are living 54:31 to the closing moments of earth's history. 54:33 Things that have happened just in the last year, 54:37 two years to three years, 54:39 only five years ago in your preaching. 54:42 It was just something for the future. 54:44 Now we're living it. We're living it. 54:46 So to understand the times in which we're living. 54:49 So we wanna make sure that everybody knows. 54:51 We know that God has people in all churches, 54:54 but God also has truth that many of us don't know. 54:58 It says, now we see through a glass darkly, 55:00 then we shall see face to face. 55:02 But I believe God expects each and every one of us 55:07 as truth is presented. 55:08 Now it's up to us. 55:10 If we love the Lord, He says, 55:12 "If you love Me, you keep My commandments." 55:13 If you love Jesus, you'll follow Him. 55:16 Then he says, "Go and tell what I've done for you." 55:18 So I think as Christians, it's our responsibility, 55:21 it's a privilege, but to be able to be tutored, 55:24 to be taught, to learn not only from our own, 55:28 but from those who have spent years of their lives, 55:31 studying the gospel. 55:33 Jill, I include you in that. 55:34 I learned so much 55:36 from your Sabbath School lessons 55:37 and from your sermons that you give 55:39 that we can learn from others. 55:42 So we're privileged that you and Angie you're here 55:44 all these years for what you've done 55:46 and your dedication. 55:48 And so what I'd like to do is we're gonna take a break. 55:51 And right after that, we're gonna come back. 55:53 We're gonna hit this incredible topic, 55:55 the mark of the beast. 55:57 Thank you, Greg and Jill for being here. 55:58 It's a big surprise, I had no idea. 56:01 You said while ago, we're gonna take or you set a right turn. 56:05 Yes.
