I said me! 03:02 Just her... 03:04 So he says, "He listens to me on 3ABN Radio." 03:07 So I'm very honored to be a part of this ministry 03:10 and work for radio. 03:12 Then the next nice part about it is our 3ABN family, 03:14 so we don't want to hold you in suspense. 03:17 We want to let you know who is a part of this program 03:19 and people that we work with every day. 03:22 Oh, I'm so honored to be in this seat. 03:24 And so, let's start with our boss 03:27 and our brother Danny Shelton. 03:29 Oh, it's good to be here. All right. 03:53 Oh, she always says to me, 03:55 she'd say, "Oh, you're so cute, you're so handsome." 03:57 And I say, "You're not getting new glasses." 04:00 I'm not letting her get new glasses. 04:02 Now on the other hand, I don't wear glasses 04:04 so I can still say that you're beautiful, 04:06 but the whole thing as what you were talking about. 04:09 Beauty is more than skin deep 04:11 and is beauty what you guys have 04:14 has really nothing to do with the outside beauty 04:17 or a whole lot more to do with the insides. 04:20 You have the same goals, the same mission in life, 04:23 that's to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. 04:25 You share your lives together and that's a beautiful thing. 04:27 Amen. 04:28 And I'm thankful though we can do the same thing, 04:30 not nearly as many years, 04:32 but I praise the Lord for you, for your love for Jesus 04:35 and for what you do, 04:37 and using your talents for the Lord 04:38 and being able to work together in ministry is really great. 04:40 It is, it's such a blessing. It really is. 04:43 You know, some people will hate working 04:45 with their spouses or whatever but... 04:46 I know. I love it. 04:47 It's so great because we can talk about everything 04:50 and pray together, and so it's just... 04:54 And I have to be careful about bossing her at work 04:56 'cause when we get home she might boss me. 05:00 That's right. 05:01 Your authority is owned to you for a day. 05:04 Same here. 05:05 I think of all that before I say, 05:07 "Hey, Yvonne, I say, I've date with, 05:09 you know, we start like that. 05:12 This is fun part, and you guys are amazing together. 05:14 God knew that ministry could always get better 05:18 and he sent you, a New Yorker. 05:20 Praise the Lord. Yes. 05:21 Who thought that good... 05:23 A godly New Yorker, nice person New Yorker. 05:25 I have to clean it up. 05:27 There are nice people in New York. 05:28 We're from New York, right? 05:30 Praise the Lord, but let's not just... 05:31 Danny and Yvonne, so good to have you here. 05:33 Well, we have two gentlemen here 05:34 that are hiding out to our right to your left. 05:37 Being plain sight. 05:39 And now they're plain sight. 05:42 Well, Tim, somebody might be watching this program 05:44 for the first time and they might wonder, 05:45 who is Tim Parton? 05:47 Who am I? 05:48 Well, my name is Tim Parton, and I am the general manager 05:50 of the Praise Him Music Network. 05:51 That's right. 05:53 The music network that launched just January 2. 05:55 All right. 05:57 Right here at the beginning of the year. 05:58 Praise the Lord. 05:59 So we are still in infancy. 06:01 I mean, just still in diapers, 06:04 and we'll be in diapers for quite a while. 06:06 It's been a daunting task, but amazing. 06:10 We've been getting amazing comments 06:14 and really appreciate you watching the music network 06:16 24/7 on the internet, 06:19 you can go watch it through the apps 06:20 or soon to be on Roku and Apple TV. 06:23 All right. 06:25 And we stream on YouTube, 06:27 not the YouTube, it's on YouTube. 06:29 Yeah. 06:30 And so the 3ABN Praise Him, 06:33 so we have a lot of ways you can watch us 06:35 and it's wonderful, wonderful music. 06:38 And, you know, this is something 06:39 that we wanted to do for a lot of years 06:42 and I was even asked some time ago 06:44 in National Quartet Convention 06:45 about would you want to do things with us 06:48 to put some together a really good music channel 06:51 because there's been very few gospel channels 24/7, 06:56 and I'm not sure if they're still there, there may be. 06:59 So there's not to put down on somebody else, 07:01 they're just not that well-known and so. 07:04 But the quality what you put together is amazing 07:07 because we have people 07:08 that are incredible at what they do. 07:10 That's right. 07:11 We give God the glory 07:13 but, and a lot of people are gonna be on here 07:15 the people that you've worked with 07:17 in the music industry and that we have in the past 07:20 that are very well-known, they are great songwriters, 07:23 great singers, great musicians, 07:25 and some of the ideas for new music projects. 07:28 I have one about you and a couple other people 07:31 doing a piano like a trio, 07:33 they would sing and all of that that, 07:35 I wanna talk more about, you know, 07:37 so the music channel to me is first rate 07:39 the quality our production team is amazing. 07:41 Yeah. 07:43 And so we do it, we've got it as all of you know here. 07:45 Oh yeah. We have an incredible... 07:47 They're so creative that it's amazing, 07:50 and so, take very little and can do a lot with it. 07:52 Oh, yeah. 07:53 So, you know, it always complements what we do, 07:56 but the music channel, the Praise Him channel 08:00 and we do sets and the designs 08:02 and using new technology and all that, 08:05 I mean, incredible and then they have the artists 08:07 listening to the testimonies. 08:09 I've been watching it and I enjoy it. 08:11 I've chance it if I'm on my phone, 08:13 if I'm there I'm somewhere a few minutes, 08:15 I turn on and say, let's see who's on now. 08:17 But this is like in the candy store, 08:20 our music on the life. 08:22 Actually 3ABN has a dedicated channel for gospel music. 08:26 Amen. 08:27 And it's nothing new, we have to apologize to everybody 08:30 in the world for when you look at it there's world class, 08:33 you know, musicians, singers, and all that but Christians, 08:36 that's what makes it so beautiful. 08:38 There's great musicians everywhere, 08:40 but to turn on to a network, 08:42 Tim, that everybody you work with loves the Lord. 08:45 None of us are perfect, 08:47 but we love the Lord and they've dedicated 08:48 their time, their talents, their abilities through music. 08:52 I mean it's a great thing, 08:54 so thank you so much for what you do. 08:55 So everything he said. 08:58 I mean, the nice thing about it. 08:59 I wanna let our viewers and listeners know, 09:01 the nice thing about it is 09:03 we are tapping into new technology 09:04 because we can see the way the world is going. 09:07 Pretty soon it's gonna all be iPads, phones, Android, iPhone, 09:11 we're getting into the world that's mobile. 09:13 Very few people, 09:14 the young people don't want to sit down in one stable place 09:16 unless they have to. 09:17 Right. That's true. 09:19 But, you know, you could tap into 3ABN wherever you are. 09:21 If you're driving in your car... 09:22 Yeah. 09:24 These new cars that have Apple Play, 09:27 you can just take your phone, lay it down and tune into 3ABN, 09:31 and that's an amazing thing to do. 09:32 So, you know, that's amazing. 09:33 The music channel is... 09:35 Yeah, it is. Wonderful. 09:36 It's a blessing. 09:38 And you don't have to watch it. 09:39 You can listen to it while you're driving. 09:40 Yeah, yes. 09:42 Don't wanna watch while you're driving because... 09:43 Right, yeah. But... 09:44 Who is this? 09:46 Last but not least, I call it my nephew Jay, Jason Bradley. 09:50 Welcome, Jason, 09:51 and you're doing a marvelous job 09:53 here for Dare to Dream 09:54 and you have grown in such a beautiful way. 09:57 Lord has blessed you in such... 09:59 And I'm grateful for you to be here. 10:01 So Jason, what do you do now? 10:03 Well, Praise the Lord. 10:05 I'm blessed to be here and grateful to be here. 10:07 So now I'm the general manager of 3ABN Dare to Dream now. 10:10 All right. 10:11 So we target inner city residents 10:13 with the Gospel of Jesus Christ 10:14 and practical tools for living, so. 10:17 You know, you need to eat healthier, 10:19 we have great cooking programs 10:20 for that to help give you some recipes, to equip you 10:23 with what the recipes you need to have delicious 10:27 and nutritious meals. 10:28 We've got... 10:30 You need to know how to manage your money. 10:32 We have two financial literacy programs. 10:34 Two? 10:35 Not one, but two financial literacy programs 10:37 that you can watch. 10:39 You need to learn about prophecy, 10:42 we've got a program called Salvation in Symbols and Signs, 10:45 which you can do there. 10:46 I mean, there's so many different things. 10:48 We just take a look at the issues 10:49 that are plugging inner city residents, 10:51 and package programming around that 10:54 with biblical solution. 10:55 Even a jail ministry? 10:56 Oh yeah, we're going to prisons and all of that as well. 11:00 And you you're becoming quite the preacher, 11:02 we're getting you there. 11:03 Yes, he is. 11:05 He is. 11:06 I keep inviting you to preach here, 11:08 but you said not yet. 11:09 But the Lord has been transforming your life, 11:12 your mother, and I know Yvonne, I cannot praise the Lord enough 11:16 to see the transformation. 11:17 Because I was here, I remember when Jay first came here 11:20 a number of years ago and I think Danny said, 11:22 "If you can't get this place out of your mind, 11:24 this is where God want you to be." 11:25 And, you know, we like basketball 11:27 and so, you know, we went to the basketball court 11:29 and you huffing and puffing 11:30 because you were not living a healthy life at that time. 11:33 Yes. 11:34 Now the Lord has changed your life, 11:35 you've been baptized, you're general manager now. 11:38 Yeah. Wow! 11:39 All heaven is rejoicing. Amen. 11:41 Especially his Mom. Thank God for a praying Mom. 11:44 This woman prays hard. She prayed hard. 11:48 Praise the Lord. 11:49 So Lord answers prayer. 11:51 Yeah. That's right. 11:52 They used to pray. 11:54 And so far he's single. 11:56 Well, take that back. 11:59 No, I am not single, I've got a girlfriend. 12:01 But he has a girlfriend, there you go. 12:03 I'm very much in love with, I'm very much faithful to her, 12:06 very much care about her, 12:07 and who I'm very much dedicated too. 12:11 Nobody write in, nobody call. 12:13 He declared her. 12:15 I liked it. 12:16 That was psychological, Jason. 12:18 She paid me to do that. 12:21 So we're so excited. 12:23 Now we know, it's out. 12:25 It's out there. That's right. 12:27 And she's gonna say, Mom, see, I told you, 12:28 he said it to the world. 12:32 You know, we have an exciting program tonight 12:34 because when we talk about behind the scenes, 12:36 some of you just see us through the porthole 12:38 or the people of just this camera. 12:41 And we'd like to encourage some of you to come 12:43 not only to the camp meeting because camp meeting is just... 12:46 You know, if you've missed camp meeting once, 12:48 it doesn't make sense to miss it twice. 12:49 Correct. 12:51 We'll tell you about camp meeting, 12:52 but 3ABN is a multifaceted ministry. 12:55 When I live in California and somebody said, 12:57 "Come and visit us when you're in the area." 12:59 You have to really want to be in the area. 13:02 3ABN as Pastor CA who's now retired. 13:06 He said, to get to 3ABN you go what? 13:09 Turn left. To the end... 13:10 End of the road... 13:12 Turn left. 13:13 You turn left it is nowhere. 13:17 On the other hand, it's everywhere. 13:19 Right. There you go. 13:21 You see, wherever God is that's where we're gonna be. 13:23 Everywhere. I love it. 13:24 The biggest little city in the world is right here 13:26 in Thompsonville and so we're gonna... 13:29 That's right. Thompsonville, West Frankfort. 13:31 Because we share both of those lines 13:33 right on Charley Good Road 13:35 is where West Frankfort ends and Thompsonville begins. 13:38 And so 3ABN Worship Center is in Thompsonville. 13:42 And the most of the buildings are here in West Frankfort. 13:45 It's amazing what happens here, Honey. 13:46 I mean, from the time we came here, 2003. 13:50 We have seen this place explode... 13:52 Yeah. 13:53 In the time that we've been here. 13:55 Yeah, and I'm excited because there's so much growth 13:58 when we talk about this wonderful Praise Him channel. 14:01 That's growth, isn't it? Right. 14:02 And I'm just excited to see 14:05 where the Lord's gonna take us next. 14:06 That's right. When I say us, 3ABN. 14:08 That's right. That's right. 14:10 Because one day we asked the Lord, 14:11 what do you want us to do with the rest of our lives? 14:14 And Danny called two days later. 14:15 Oh, yes, he did. 14:16 So I can't argue with him 14:18 because I didn't know Danny that way then. 14:19 Praise the Lord for that. Amen. 14:21 But we have an exciting program tonight. 14:22 But before we get into the topics 14:24 that we're gonna be covering, 14:25 we can be talking about evangelism, 14:26 our new programs on Dare to Dream Network. 14:30 We talked, we highlighted the music channel, 14:32 but we'll talk about that more because there's some things 14:34 that you're gonna do for the music channel. 14:36 You and Ryan Day, who is... Yeah, that's amazing. 20:09 Thirty-five years 3ABN has been trekking on 20:12 under the blessings of God 20:13 and we have been privileged to be a part of it. 20:15 But not only us, it's your ministry. 20:17 Yeah. 20:18 Those of you who are watching this program and listening, 20:20 this ministry could not do what it's doing 20:24 without your financial support. 20:25 And your prayers. 20:27 That's right. 20:28 How important is prayer, Honey? 20:29 So important. 20:31 This ministry wouldn't be 20:32 where it is today without prayer. 20:34 That's right. That's right. 20:35 Yeah, and so I'm just grateful to be here. 20:37 And, you know, I feel like 20:39 I'm in my living room or in my dining room. 20:42 We just need a meal, right? 20:43 That would be wonderful on it. 20:46 Since she's such a great cooker, too, right? 20:48 Oh, no. Goes on with the most of us. 20:50 We'd be happy like we're among family, right? 20:52 Yeah. And which we are. 20:53 That's right. 20:54 People we know every day and our Pastor CA used to say, 20:57 people ask us if we really love each other. 20:59 We really, really we do. We do. 21:00 Because we have been through sunny days and rainy days, 21:04 we have been... 21:05 Danny, we could recall those days 21:07 when we gather around in the office and pray for God 21:09 to open up the heavens 21:10 because the devil had come down having great wrath. 21:13 Sure. Yeah. 21:14 But here we are on the other side 21:16 of those storms, praising God for it. 21:17 All these years later, still praising the Lord. 21:19 Amen. That's right. 21:20 Yeah. 21:22 And then the vision, 3ABN has had vision, 21:24 because I've noticed that 21:25 at some of the most difficult times 21:27 another ministry was born. 21:30 And a lot of ministries will say, well, not right now 21:33 because Latino was born out when finances were low. 21:35 Yeah. 21:37 There was not a whole lot of finances 21:38 when Dare to Dream was born, but look at it today. 21:40 And radio. And our radio. 21:41 That's right. 21:43 Speaking of radio, radio has had some change. 21:44 We'll look at that in a little bit. 21:46 We'll look at that in the second half about radio 21:49 when my boss is here, right? 21:51 Jay Christian. That's right. 22:01 And I'm excited that you're there. 22:03 But let's talk about our upcoming camp meeting. 22:06 Camp meeting is high points of 3ABN. 22:10 We have camp meeting twice a year, 22:12 Spring camp meeting is the largest one 22:14 and the fall camp meeting is like a homecoming. 22:17 We're more centered on what's happening here 22:19 and it's not as large as spring 22:21 because the weather is not as good. 22:23 Some years we're blessed, 22:24 but this year, June 5 to June 8, 22:27 we're gonna be having. 22:29 What's the topic this year, Honey? 22:30 Ten Commandments. 22:32 Well, and how many are there? 22:33 Ten. 22:35 Why would you laugh? 22:37 But that's really... 22:39 A lot of people don't know. 22:41 Really that's a deep question. 22:43 That's right. 22:44 So it was a pun, but it's true. 22:47 Not many people know that there are Ten Commandments. 22:49 Yeah. 22:50 And on that note, that's why you wrote 22:51 this book called Ten Commandments, what? 22:53 Twice Removed. 22:55 And I remember the first one, 22:57 the first title was a little different. 22:58 It was the Antichrist Agenda. 23:00 Antichrist Agenda. Oh, yeah. 23:01 And I wrote that and then the publishers, 23:04 it was about 200 pages, Shelley Quinn and I, 23:07 then the publisher said, 23:09 "We think we can get it into Walmart 23:10 and some of the other stores 23:12 if we can edit it down to 128 pages." 23:15 They like 128 or less, 23:17 so we did that and named it 23:20 "Ten Commandments Twice Removed." 23:22 People say, why do you say that? 23:23 It was really very simple, wasn't a brain, 23:26 any kind of big brainstorm other than I was watching 23:29 Judge Roy Moore, you remember 23:31 when he was in all the hot water in Alabama 23:34 and so they said, 23:35 "Look, you got to take down the Ten Commandments 23:37 from the state houses." 23:39 You got to take, you know, with total separation, 23:42 we believe in separation of church and state. 23:44 But sometimes government can overdo also, 23:46 but we were watching. 23:48 But what surprised me the most 23:50 in all of this was when that got, 23:53 you know, on the news media around America, 23:58 people got so angry, they got so upset 24:00 that in yards all across America, 24:02 including right here, Thompsonville, West Frankfort, 24:05 Southern Illinois, 24:07 I would go by and see it, 24:08 nearly every other yard at least had signed, 24:10 it says the Ten Commandments, the Ten Commandments. 24:13 You know, the churches, their pastors were centering in 24:16 and said, "This is terrible." 24:18 The government's trying to take the Ten Commandments 24:20 out of the state houses. 24:23 And, you know, we believe in the Ten Commandments 24:26 and so everybody was for in and hit me, I said, 24:29 that's very interesting 24:30 because the very people who are upset 24:33 that the government's taking the Ten Commandments out 24:36 have already taken them out. 24:38 Because they say they're done away with, 24:40 they were nailed to the cross, 24:41 so how can you be so upset 24:43 at the government for removing them 24:45 when many churches have done it already. 24:46 That's right. 24:48 Oh, well, they're just in our heart, 24:49 or well, we really don't have to keep all of them, 24:51 we can just keep nine or eight, 24:53 depending on your positions on abortion. 24:55 And, you know, now it keeps going on to depending 24:59 on your position on the seventh commandment. 25:02 That's right. 25:03 You know, gay marriage and all of that, 25:05 but people were so upset. 25:07 So I said, "Well, that's interesting." 25:08 I think we should write, 25:10 you know, this book that we should write it. 25:12 It started out Antichrist Agenda, 25:14 but the idea Ten Commandments Twice Removed is, 25:17 I wanted to get the attention of people 25:19 that, hey, you know, 25:21 before we're upset at the government, 25:23 we should really look at our own churches. 25:24 That's right. 25:26 And our, you know, denominations everywhere 25:28 and find out, we took the Ten Commandments out 25:30 before they did. 25:32 And so thank the Lord, there's been now in print 25:38 either 12 or 13 million 25:41 of these books have been sent around. 25:43 Now, that's in the English, 25:46 but there are numerous countries. 25:48 I don't know, the publisher can tell you. 25:50 I don't know if it's 10 or 20 countries that have this book 25:54 and they translated them. 25:56 So we have no idea because we just tell people, 26:00 if they want to print them and get them out there, 26:03 go ahead and do them. 26:04 But we know there are many, many countries. 26:05 That's right. 26:07 So as a result, we've seen 26:08 tremendous results over the years. 26:10 And we actually wrote it back in about 2005. 26:14 And so for a couple of years, and the first couple of years, 26:16 over 10 million of those were moved. 26:19 And we appreciate the people because we have people at home 26:23 that would say, we want to help, 26:25 we can't go out and give the books. 26:27 Our idea was, you know, this book is important, 26:30 so we don't want to put the publishers say 26:32 and you look at Amazon or look at bookstores. 26:35 Well that size book should cost probably 26:38 $995 at least retail or you... 26:41 How do you get people 26:42 and why would they want to buy a book they know nothing about? 26:44 That's right. 26:45 And what you're doing, 26:47 there's a lot of books out there 26:48 and so I think I'll pay $995, you're not gonna do it. 26:50 The wholesale price might be $250 or whatever. 26:53 But why would people do that? So I said we need a way. 26:56 Lord, help us to figure out a way 26:58 to get these out evangelistically. 27:00 So what happens is people will sponsor the books. 27:02 That's right. 27:04 So the most recent was back in November 6 27:08 when the election came back to Alabama again and... 27:12 So when this gentleman for what, 17 years 27:15 has been trying to get the State of Alabama 27:19 to get them back into the state houses again, 27:22 and so they voted on it. 27:25 But before they did, 27:27 the viewers helped us and sent the money, 27:30 so we could send half a million books 27:32 throughout all Alabama to zip codes. 27:35 And so people now know what they're reading about 27:38 since the Ten Commandments were in question. 27:40 We told people, we're not telling you to vote, 27:42 yes or no on the Ten Commandments, 27:44 that's up to you and the Lord, however you want to do it. 27:47 All we want to know is for people 27:49 we sense so much attention is there. 27:51 People are interested in Ten Commandments 27:53 because it affects them. 27:54 And we've seen some tremendous results already. 27:57 I have some letters from people that are on Facebook and emails 28:02 that have contacted me, 28:03 some have contacted the publisher, 28:05 and he sent it to me. 28:06 There have been some incredible, 28:08 you know, testimonies of people. 28:09 One lady in particular, 28:11 this is what I've been looking for all my life. 28:13 I believe this, but no one supports me 28:15 and I can't get anyone to do it. 28:17 But, you know, my... 28:19 Basically pastors, family, husband nobody, 28:22 but I know it's truth and I've tried, 28:24 but this is now understand it all 28:26 and I'm taking a stand. 28:28 And then last week, I got a letter that said, 28:31 "I'm going to Sabbath Church 28:32 now for the first time in my life." 28:35 You know, and so we're seeing results of this 28:37 and we actually over the years have seen. 28:40 Now we know God has people in all churches. 28:42 That's right. 28:43 But God has always had people to give present truth. 28:46 And so present truth is an end time message 28:50 which is a three angels' messages 28:52 for the viewers at home. 28:53 Look up Revelation Chapter 14, 28:55 an end times message for an end times people. 28:58 So if I think I'm living in the last days, 29:01 okay that's end times. 29:02 And if the message of the three angels' is for us, 29:05 I should understand what they are, 29:07 I need to study that a little bit. 29:08 Right. 29:10 So I want to study the three angels' messages, 29:11 in the end that we find the law of God. 29:14 The law of God's not been nailed to the cross. 29:16 Revelation is revealing of Jesus Christ 29:19 so why be scared of the book. 29:20 People say, "Oh, we don't." 29:22 That's Daniel and Revelation. 29:23 Well, who doesn't want to know about Jesus 29:25 if you're a Christian? 29:27 So Revelation says, 29:28 "This is a revealing of Jesus Christ." 29:30 We find that He is love, and we find that God's law 29:33 is a transcript of His own character. 29:36 Yes. So that's who God is. 29:37 So you can't divide that up and be like cutting my arm off, 29:41 or your arm off and say, well, this is no, God is love. 29:45 But that same God, God has a law. 29:48 In His law there is a transcript of who He is, 29:51 so instead of Ten Commandments, people hate things now, 29:54 nobody likes to be told what to do, 29:56 especially younger generation. 29:57 Oh, yeah. 29:59 Okay, Tim, I command you to do such and such. 30:00 Your first instinct is what? 30:02 Well, you don't have to tell me what you say but... 30:05 Not a mind reader, but got an idea, right? 30:07 Yeah. 30:08 Angie, I command you to do. 30:10 Well, that's what people, they'll say. 30:12 Oh, those old Ten Commandments. 30:14 But we say they're not Ten Commandments, 30:15 that's the way it says it. 30:17 Why don't we look at it in way I looked at it years ago? 30:20 It finally hit me they're ten promises. 30:22 Amen. That's right. 30:23 God promises you that if you love Me, 30:26 and if you serve Me, 30:27 you will not wanna have any other gods before Me. 30:30 You will not take My name in vain. 30:33 You know, you can go on down each and every one of these, 30:36 the... 30:38 You know, I'm the Lord, I'm the Lord your God, 30:40 I'm the one who brought you out of bondage. 30:42 You know, out of Egypt, and I'm the one, 30:44 so God is promising, if you love Me, 30:48 if you keep My commandments, if you remember my Sabbath day, 30:51 which is one of those commandments to keep it holy, 30:54 six days you shalt labor and do all your work, 30:56 but He says, the seventh day is the Sabbath 30:58 of the Lord your God. 31:00 For entity He did what? 31:01 He created the heavens and the earth. 31:03 So what we find out in these Ten Commandments. 31:05 We find out who God is, find out all about Him. 31:09 You know, He's a creator, God of the universe, 31:11 and His domain is the whole universe. 31:14 So here it is. 31:15 Then He says, "If you love Me, if you commit your life to Me, 31:19 I promise you won't want to have an affair on your wife 31:21 or your husband, I will help you, 31:22 I'll give you victory over these things in your life. 31:26 I'll give you victory over stealing. 31:28 I'll give you victory over killing. 31:30 I'll give you victory over lying. 31:32 I'll give you victory over gossiping. 31:34 I promise you, I'm gonna give you all these things." 31:36 That's right. 31:37 So what do you think the devil would want to get rid of? 33:21 We've been keeping the wrong day, 33:22 we need to convert, 33:24 we have to keep all of God's Commandments, 33:26 not just nine. 33:27 It's not a smorgasbord, 33:28 pick and choose which salad we want and which one we want. 33:32 It's there's ten. 33:33 As you ask Angie, 33:34 that's why I said that's pretty deep. 33:36 It sounds easy, but, y'all, there's Ten Commandments. 33:38 And so what happens is now 33:41 with God's blessings people are joining together. 33:46 So we got everybody joining together 33:47 and these books are getting out. 33:49 And we've seen over 40 Sunday pastors 33:52 who've actually said, we wanna join the church, 33:55 or we wanna convert to. 33:57 And some of those we've had up here, 33:59 Reggie Witten is one of them and a great guy. 34:03 He is PhD, he's gonna be here at camp meeting 34:05 talking about the change in his life. 34:07 And what he said was so interesting. 34:10 He said one of my members... 34:11 He has a good sized church school in Huntsville. 34:14 One of my members handed, left the book 34:17 and want me to read it. 34:18 Well, I have several Adventist students there, 34:20 but so I took it and I read it. 34:23 Then I read it again. 34:25 He set them, little bit week or two later, 34:27 however I read it for the third time. 34:29 Wow! 34:30 And then he said, I waited a little bit and I read it, 34:32 now, he has a PhD, right, in theology? 34:35 Geology. 34:37 And so he says, so I read it the fourth time, 34:40 so finally, I took it to my wife 34:42 and I said, "Honey, I want you to read this book. 34:45 I want you to... 34:46 They've been pastors for years and years. 34:48 "I want you to read this book, tell me what you think." 34:51 He said, "She took it." 34:52 She read it, two hour read or whatever. 34:54 Two or three hour read. 34:56 She said, "So what's your question?" 34:59 What's... He said, "Well, what do you think." 35:01 She said, "It was very simple, 35:03 we need to switch our day of worship, 35:06 we need to worship God. 35:08 So he said, "I read it one more time." 35:10 So he read it five times. 35:12 But he said, "My wife was smart enough 35:14 to catch it the first time." 35:15 And so, but we have those kind of testimonies 35:18 over, and over, and over. 35:20 These are actually pastors of other denominations 35:23 whose whole churches had, one from in Illinois came down, 35:27 this whole church converted, 35:28 they said, "We all want to be a part of this." 35:31 And I'm amazed and I've seen it over the years. 35:33 And so we don't take credit, John, 35:36 for the book, Shelley and I. 35:38 We're just trying to put out God's Word 35:40 and trying to put it in a way that people can understand 35:43 what is there. 35:45 So we're offering those tonight, 35:46 we still have just two, maybe 250,000 or so left. 35:50 That may sound like a lot, but they can be gone 35:52 in a matter of church's program. 35:53 Oh, yeah. 35:55 So if you want 1,000, or 2,000, 35:56 we had 50,000 sent over to Trinidad and Tobago 36:00 on stuff and they pass them all out too. 36:02 Sometimes they'll do 10,000, other countries 20,000, 36:06 and so we make sure always say is this, 36:09 look, you pay the shipping, 36:10 but make sure the books get out. 36:12 Yeah. 36:13 And we've seen thousands of people walking into churches 36:15 and writing us over the years, telling us thank you 36:20 for helping me understand God's law 36:22 and the importance of God's law. 36:23 So we're excited about it, 36:25 because we see the results in our camp meeting. 36:27 That's why we said, you know what? 36:29 There's so much interest again 36:30 then this that we need to focus back to the Ten Commandments. 36:34 Because now within our own church, 36:36 you know, you have all these things coming up 36:38 that we have to deal with too. 36:40 We look at the rest of world and say, 36:42 well, we got the Sabbath, 36:43 but as an Adventist, where do we stand? 36:45 Adventist Christians, where do we stand on abortion? 36:48 Where do we stand on gay marriage? 36:50 Where do we stand? 36:51 There's a number of things, 36:53 so we all really need to look at the law of God 36:55 one more time and say, 36:56 "Lord, what would You have us to do?" 36:57 Amen. Yvonne. 36:59 One of the things that's so exciting about the book 37:01 is well is the opportunity 37:03 that it gives for people to witness. 37:05 Yes. 37:07 Like, there's a group in New York 37:08 that gave out over 5,000 37:11 of the Ten Commandments Twice Removed. 37:13 And they have stories about what happens, 37:16 you know, it really builds your faith, 37:18 your witness is strengthened, 37:20 your faith is strengthened as you give out the books 37:23 and you see the results 37:26 that it brings, so it's really great. 37:28 Pastors need to know that their churches will grow 37:30 because people will walk in from having read the book, 37:34 and say, we want to find the closest Adventist Church. 37:38 I mean, it's just, to me it's such a win-win. 37:41 Because you give your witnessing 37:43 by giving out the book, 37:45 but you don't know who that's going to affect or how, 37:48 you don't know whether they were looking for something 37:51 as that the lady that sent you that email 37:54 was looking for truth. 37:56 And the Lord had that in her mailbox, 37:58 the book was in her mailbox. 37:59 Wow! 38:01 I mean, it's just, you know, to me, 38:02 it's like, 38:04 you can't lose when you're giving out the Word. 38:07 And you give and you're sharing with others, 38:10 you can't lose because you are doing 38:13 what the Lord has commissioned you to do, 38:15 to go ye into all the world, 38:17 and we are to be witnesses for Him. 38:19 What better way than through whether it's print, 38:22 or, again, television media is also incredible. 38:25 We need to be able to give this Word out. 38:29 And what a blessing it is. 38:31 Then the book is not, it's an easy read. 38:34 It's comprehensive, but it's also an easy read, 38:37 so that, you know, it makes sense. 38:40 Like you can link this with this, 38:42 with this, with this and say, "Oh, wow! 38:45 I never looked at it like that before." 38:47 We try to give history of, 38:50 you know, combine history in the Bible together 38:52 and follow through the dark ages all the way up 38:55 and do it as, you know, briefly as we can 38:57 but yet explain how this all works together. 39:00 Yeah. 39:02 You see, I really like that, 39:03 that you gave a very practical example, 39:05 like you have a lot of common sense. 39:07 So you gave this very practical example 39:10 about some time I think it was when you and Melody 39:13 went to church and you were singing 39:15 or something like that, and they took up an offering. 39:18 Do you remember that story? Oh, yeah. 39:19 Yeah. Just share a little bit about that? 39:21 That's in the book too. 39:23 Oh, yeah. Okay. 39:24 We went to a church, 39:26 it's a good sized church over Knoxville. 39:28 I won't tell you what kind, not an Adventist Church 39:30 but they'd asked us to come and sing and so we did. 39:33 And this was after 3ABN 39:35 just a little while we had started. 39:36 So I thought, "Well, maybe they've seen us on 3ABN." 39:39 Well, when we got there, some of the members that asked 39:41 but the pastor wasn't aware of us or 3ABN. 39:45 So we did whole music Sunday morning. 39:48 You've done those, Tim, around the Sabbath, 39:50 the Sunday morning, so we did a little music program. 39:53 And they took up there their Sunday morning offering tithes 39:56 and offering, and then they took up an offering 39:58 for us as the singers 40:01 because they said what do you charge? 40:02 I said, "Oh, just free will offering." 40:03 Is free will offering okay? I said, "Sure, that's fine. 40:06 Whatever it is." 40:07 So afterwards, the pastor said, 40:09 why don't you come with me in the study? 40:11 They're dividing up the money right now. 40:13 So we, you know, 40:15 what we'll do is we'll see what it is 40:17 and we'll write you a check for the amount 40:19 that's set aside for you. 40:20 I said, "Great." 40:22 So we walk in and he looks at me and he says, 40:23 "I have to ask a question." 40:25 I sit down, he said these words, 40:28 "Somebody told me 40:29 you're one of those old Seventh-day Adventists." 40:31 And I said, "'Cause I weren't that old at the time. 40:35 I said, "I'm not that old." 40:37 He said, "No, I mean, 40:38 you're one of those old law keepers," he said. 40:41 And I said, "Explain that to me." 40:44 He goes, "Well, I think you keep, 40:46 you know, all the whole laws." 40:48 I said, "You mean like the Ten Commandments?" 40:50 "Yeah," he said. 40:51 "You don't believe me, you know, 40:53 they were done away with, right?" 40:54 I said, "No, I never thought so." 40:56 I said, "I thought they were all the Ten Commandments 40:58 were Ten Commandments and we keep them all." 41:01 "Oh, no," he said, "You know, I'm surprised." 41:03 He said, Well, you, you're one of those Seventh-day Adventist. 41:07 I said, "I am". 41:08 I said, "You didn't know that when you asked me." 41:10 He said, "No, I had no idea." 41:11 And he said that you were Seventh-day Adventist. 41:14 But he said, "I just can't believe you go, 41:16 you know, believe in that old law 41:17 and was nailed to the cross." 41:19 So I've been listening to him, 41:21 but I was also watching the money counting going on. 41:24 And so the big offering, of course, that morning 41:27 was for this Sunday morning tithe and offering, 41:29 the smaller offering, 41:31 of course, was for Melody and I. 41:33 So they literally had it in these you know, 41:35 the big offering deals. 41:37 So as I saw them counting over here, 41:39 and several counting here, 41:41 so I went over to where the big money was. 41:44 And so I started, 41:46 I just grabbed their several offering plates. 41:48 So I started just stacking, the guys were sitting there 41:50 and I grabbed about three or four of them. 41:53 I grabbed them and I started to put them on here. 41:55 I said, "Well, pastor, thanks so much." 41:57 I said, "I appreciate you letting us come here, 41:58 appreciate the offering." 42:00 Oh, yes. 42:01 I said, "Appreciate you offering us. 42:02 This is great. Thank you so much." 42:04 And he said, "Well, wait just minute, Brother Shelton." 42:05 He said. 42:06 "I'm sorry, 42:08 this is our Sunday morning tithes and offerings. 42:10 You're offering, they're accounting that, 42:11 and I told you, "I'd write a check." 42:13 I said, "Yeah, I know." 42:14 I said, "But I prefer to take this one." 42:16 That's a lot bigger, I'll just take this one." 42:18 And he looked at me and he was shocked, 42:20 you know, 'cause I could see it on his face. 42:22 And he's like, will you? 42:24 I mean, that's our... 42:26 I said, "No, I understand." 42:27 So I walked out of the pastor study, 42:29 started down the hallway in the main sanctuary 42:33 to head out the door. 42:34 So he was really behind me right then. 42:36 I mean, he was like, "Brother Shelton, you can't. 42:38 Yeah, I'm sorry. 42:40 I don't know what you're doing, but that's not your money." 42:43 I said, "No, it is my money." 42:45 "How's that?" And I said, "You convinced me." 42:47 I said, "You convinced me 42:49 there's no such thing as stealing." 42:50 I said, you said, 42:52 "The Commandments were done away with, 42:53 so if I take this, I'm not stealing. 42:56 I just decided, hey, there's more there. 42:58 I might as well take that. 42:59 Now this is mine," so I said, "Obviously, 43:02 if the Ten Commandments aren't valid, 43:04 then I didn't do anything wrong, 43:05 I'm not stealing." 43:06 So he looked at me and he said, "Okay, I get your point. 43:09 Can you bring that back? 43:10 Can we go back in and straighten this out." 43:13 I said, "Sure." 43:14 Then we went back in, we straightened it out, 43:17 and I got my smaller check which we deserved. 43:21 The amazing thing about it is strange is enough, 43:24 and I threw that question to Angie for the exact reason. 43:27 The effect that it gave, there are 10 43:30 and a lot of people that really love the Lord 43:33 have not been told 43:34 that they're not multiple choice. 43:37 Yeah. These are not suggestions. 43:39 And the word command 43:40 simply means God is the only one 43:42 that has the authority and the right 43:44 to command His creation. 43:46 Like, if you're a shepherd, you wanna guide your sheep. 43:50 He's the chief shepherd. 43:51 If you have children, 43:53 you don't want a house of over 10 unruly children 43:55 and say, well, eight of you could be obedient, 43:58 one of you could be disobedient and anytime you want, 44:01 which one pick any one of them. 44:02 So that's not the way, and this book, 44:04 Ten Commandments Twice Removed 44:05 has really opened the doors for so many people to come in. 44:08 And the stories are amazing, 44:10 when you and Shelley put this together. 44:11 I mean, the methodical approach 44:13 to walking, as you said through the history of it. 44:15 Yeah. 44:17 Letting people see where the change came in 44:19 and Christians ought to know that 44:20 because we love the Lord. 44:22 All the nominations, 44:23 I can't think of a single Christian 44:24 that will say, I don't love the Lord. 44:26 We love the Lord and we want to serve the Lord 44:28 in spirit and in truth. 44:31 And this book does reveal 44:32 the Spirit of God and the truth of God. 44:33 So once again, Danny mentioned, 44:36 if you call us here at 3ABN at 618... 44:39 I think we have people here tonight 44:40 who will take the calls. 44:42 Okay, we have people that are available tonight, 44:43 if you want to order. 44:44 If you, you could do things you can do, 44:46 you can order the books 44:47 by the case $22 per case, that's 22 cents a book. 44:51 But that's not purchasing, that's just for the shipping. 44:53 Just shipping. 44:55 Order them by the boxes, bring them to your church. 44:56 Books are free. It was an evening. 48:48 She said, "I have picked it up and it said 48:50 the Ten Commandments Twice Removed." 48:51 Wow! 48:53 And she said, 48:54 the interesting thing about this as you know 48:56 every usually evening and morning the water, 48:58 the tide will go up and the tide will come down. 49:00 Yes. 49:02 And she said, "This book was setting up there. 49:03 It wasn't wet, it was in the sand, 49:06 had some sand on it. 49:07 And I expected, oh, this, whatever it was." 49:10 She said, "I read the book, it changed my entire life." 49:13 I mean, "I'm going to church every Sabbath, 49:16 and my relationship with God." 49:18 And so now, was that an accident? 49:20 No, divine providence. 49:22 Somebody walking on the ocean, 49:23 so somebody had it out there and just left it in the ocean. 49:27 An angel. 49:28 Or the Lord had it delivered there. 49:29 There you go. Caviness. Yeah. 53:11 Her church in response 53:12 to the Commandments being taken out 53:13 of the courthouse in Alabama 53:15 gave one of her church members... 53:16 They had these Ten Commandment signs to put on the lawn. 53:18 She had one. 53:20 And they gave it to her. She put it on the lawn. 53:22 And the very message she didn't want to get from us, 53:25 her church gave it to her. 53:26 Yeah. 53:28 She said to her husband, "You know, Mike, 53:29 we ought to see what this is all about. 53:31 The Lord keeps bringing this up." 53:32 Yeah. 53:34 And she's a member of the church now. 53:35 Praise the Lord for that. And works with 3ABN. 53:36 And works for 3ABN. 53:38 Almost 35 years ago, they ran a gas station in town, 53:40 which was about the only business 53:42 and the thrift store. 53:43 And we used to go buy diesel fuel, 53:45 sometimes five gallons at a time from Mike. 53:48 And so we knew Mike and Kris from way back then. 53:51 Nice people. 53:52 But I never dreamed, 53:53 never really thought about here, years later, 53:55 seeing them so involved in the church 53:58 and loving the Lord 53:59 and doing all that they're doing 54:01 and being part of 3ABN here. 54:03 It's really neat. That's right. 54:04 And the stories are amazing. 54:06 We're going to spend a lot of time, 54:07 in the second hour 54:09 we wanted to take the time to really 54:10 talk about the Ten Commandments Twice Removed 54:12 because this is the issue 54:14 on which so much in the world is going to be decided. 54:16 You know, we right now live in a world 54:18 we see the breakdown of society 54:20 because the society is not a law abiding society. 54:22 Right. 54:23 But what would be said is if we have Christians 54:26 that don't want to be law-abiding Christians? 54:28 Is there such a thing? 54:30 So the law of God... 54:31 Can you imagine a Christian saying, "I'm a Christian, 54:33 but not a law-abiding Christian"? 54:34 Now what kind of Christian is that? 54:36 Wow. 54:38 I'm a citizen, a cop stops you and you're going 90. 54:42 "I'm a citizen, but I'm not a law-abiding... 54:44 Exactly. 54:45 I support the laws, 54:47 but not this one, not the speeding. 54:49 God's law. 54:50 Whose law is it? It's God's law? 54:52 It can't get better than that, higher than that. 54:54 He's God. 54:56 He's God. That's right. 54:57 And when the Lord says, "If you love Me, keep My commandments." 54:59 You mentioned something, Danny, 55:01 there's a promise connected to it because John... 55:02 Oh, yeah. That's John 14:15. 55:04 But John 14:16 says, "And..." 55:07 That is if you're faithful, 55:08 if you love Him enough to keep His commandments. 55:10 And by the way, He empowers you by His Holy Spirit to do that. 55:13 Then He says in verse 16, 55:14 "Then I will pray the Father, 55:16 and He will send you another comforter." 55:17 John 16:13, "When He the Spirit of Truth is come, 55:20 He will lead you and guide you into all truth." 55:22 And Kris said this in my Sabbath School class. 55:24 She says when she accepted the Sabbath, 55:26 that she finally, after 30 years, 55:28 stopped running from God's Holy Spirit. 55:31 I saw erasing her Bible. 55:33 I said, "Kris, what are you doing?" 55:35 She says, "I have so much stuff to erase in this Bible. 55:37 I'm glad I wrote it with pencil." 55:39 The Lord will reveal to you so many more things. 55:41 And once again, we reiterate, 55:42 whatever denomination you are in, the Lord loves you. 55:45 That's why this message is coming to you 55:47 at this particular time so the Lord can take you 55:51 and your worship to a different level. 55:53 And once again, 55:55 we're not saying that you only worship God on the Sabbath. 55:57 We worship God every day. 55:59 But the Sabbath has a blessing 56:00 you can't find any other day of the week. 56:02 What a better time to go ahead and embrace that. 56:05 Once again, what's the phone number, honey? 56:07 (618) 627-4651 56:11 And $22 a box. 56:13 Oh, yeah.
